Ok, I'm not going to claim any prowess in the field, but I am a confident, funny, good-looking guy, so when I'm in the zone, or am consciously working on my game, I do pretty well. What I need help with is my responsiveness. I'm good at DHV and everything that focuses on showing myself as a good match, but pretty much as soon as I see the girl coming on to me, I turn into a zombie. I zone out, I blank, I go into auto-pilot. This always happens, and has caused me to miss out on some great opportunities, and every time, I look back the next day, or the second she's gone, and instantly know what I should've done. So what I'm asking is, how do I get out of that moment, even though I love it so much, when I've proven myself, gotten the girl, and should be on my way to escalating things? How can I just step back, clear my head, and realize I've loaded the gun, turned the safety off, and now need to pull the trigger?
TL;DR I lose focus, and am almost paralyzed (out of complacency not fear) when it comes to closing, any advice?
