Whoever downvoted this post needs to suck a dick. We've all been anxious about the opposite sex at one point in our lives. Hell, this is the seduction department. If a post like OP doesn't "fit into your standards," fuck off. OP: Just keep a good conversation and keep yourself in the present. A good way to maintain convos: statement, question, statement. "I like tennis. Do you?" "Damn the fries here are pretty sweet. What do you think?" Try not to fire off too many questions all at once... Show …

Great exaggeration bro. I used to defame comments by taking a pot shots on small points too. Then I, you know, grew a pair. Truth is, we aren't trying to conduct a study here. We dont need any of the exaggerated variables you mentioned. We just need to know, from the general female population, what works and what doesn't. Fuck us for trying to put a light filter on Internet comments right? If your friend asked you to go up to a girl and tell her to saw your leg off, would you? Would you laugh at…

You forgot the most important part of controlling your emotions: Knowing that there is simply a section of your emotions which you cannot control. Just knowing that alleviates a fuckton of stress. You don't "control" your emotions by having a lot of sex. All that does is push them aside. Pushing bad emotions into the background isn't a bad idea though; the mind can only process so much, and if you keep bad thoughts out of your head, eventually they will dissipate. Out of sight, out of mind.

The energy level is a big one. One of the effects of smoking dope is, surprise surprise, being dopey. Everyone knows weed makes you lazy. It most definitely drops your energy levels.

With a genuine smile, the mouth and the eyes both smile. Genuine smiles target our eye areas, forming "crows feet" around the edges of them. Unless someone is particularly perceptive, though, I've found it's totally acceptable to get away with a regular, even forced, smile. A half smile is a sign of contempt, not happiness. People are charismatic because people like to be charismatic. Charisma, though I'm sure connected to honesty and authenticity in many ways, is not the offspring of authenticity; it's the offspring of wanting to get ourselves out of trouble or wanting the woo the opposite sex(the latter being more prevalent). Anything more than that is speculation; I can learn to be charismatic, through telling real life strangeities that happen in my life, or through telling blonde jokes that I've personally nev…

Cognitive behaviorial therapy. At it's core, CBT takes any negative thoughts you're having and reveals to you why they're bad and harmful to your well-being. It might seem simple at first, but over time, you'll see negative thoughts spring up and will immediately be able to dismiss them.

Hi guys! Just a quick heads up: I've just PMed the mods around here and am working on a group CBT subreddit for people who want to try CBT as a group setting. We'll basically host meetings bi- or tri-weekly, where we can each address each other's problems effectively. There's no catch to this, but I'm going to start the subreddit out as private because I want to make sure we get the finer organization details down first before we open up. Regardless of whether I get the clearance here or not, CB…

My first instinct is to tell you that climate is a limiting belief, but to be honest, weather does affect the people you speak to. When people are cold, people are less open. When people are warm, people feel more welcoming. Ultimately though, I'd ignore that entirely; weather is outside your control and I'd still pass it off as a limiting belief.
/r/seduction21/02/14 06:39 PM
2

Yeah. Calibration takes time to learn so don't get frustrated if you get blown out. It's basically keeping your energy at a certain level... for your environment, your group, your set, etc. People notice when others are calibrated in their environment.

I know. I didn't say that. I said that just because people have an agenda doesn't mean they're creepy. People who haven't internalized an agenda well enough are creepy.
/r/seduction06/04/13 01:48 AM

Approach anxiety stems from our biological fear response from approaching what could be an enemy or something that could hurt us. It doesn't go away. We can condition ourselves to employ techniques to reduce it but it is no less a biological trigger that will always be there.
/r/seduction06/04/13 01:45 AM
2

No, I'm not. I've explained how your analysis of what is creepy is wrong I provided my own explanation. Again, Creepiness comes from having an agenda when you're going up and talking to women however, People have agendas all the time, be it consciously or subconsciously. For example, professional speakers are paid to stand on stage and motivate employees. Not all professional speakers are creepy instead, Creepiness comes from an incongruency in having an agenda but not admitting to it, sometimes…

That's not true. Creepiness comes from an incongruency in having an agenda but not admitting to it, sometimes externally but always internally. People have agendas all the time, be it consciously or subconsciously. For example, professional speakers are paid to stand on stage and motivate employees. Not all professional speakers are creepy, however. Creepiness often stems from not internalizing that agenda as something natural, following the lines of my first statement.

Trying to create a non-creepy vibe implies you care what others think. The fact that Julien and BetrayalSpree posted about it both show they do a well. I'm simply asking a question. You're jumping to conclusions based on something I did not even speak about and I think you should calm down a little bit. Have a good day.
/r/seduction05/04/13 06:17 AM
2

It depends on the vibe. You need to adjust your approach for what's going on. If a girl's really going crazy on the floor and she's warming up to you, it might be a good idea to pull her in for a dance. Personally I wouldn't work very much verbals on the dance floor.
/r/seduction05/04/13 03:50 AM
1

Look for opportunities. Generally, if you're enjoying yourself, people will approach and rub up on you so you can open them. This happens a lot less if you're going cold.
/r/seduction05/04/13 02:51 AM
11

How exactly does self-amusement create a non-creepy vibe? I know tons of guys, both personally and non-personally, that are great at amusing themselves in social situations. They weird a lot of people out too. It's important to keep yourself entertained but doing it at other people's expense and ignoring your environment will indefinitely scare some people off, even if you are enjoying yourself. Video from Tyler gives a good example of this in a club scenario, thankfully.

The last bit I wrote up quickly. Actually, the latter half was done quickly because my sleeping schedule was out of order. I don't mean to use it an as an excuse to stay in your comfort zone, though. Now what I meant by the edit bit is that yes, you should fake it until you make it. Sometimes though you don't even need to fake it because it's already there. That's because people are able to empatize with others when they show embarassment. Move along; this isn't a great pickup tactic in the first place. Vulnerability has it's place but embarassment is a different, less attractive stage of vulnerability.

Yes, there are different aspects to being an alpha male, and there are different types of the alpha male persona as well. However, I think that you are taking the whole aspect a bit too extreme. Not caring does not mean not caring in all aspects. You can still easily be a high-energy alpha male character and be not caring and relaxed about certain situations as well. If someone throws an insult your way, for example, one of the things you can do is laugh and shrug it off. That is also a form of …

That reminds me of my first relationship. OP, it sounds to me like you are letting the girl game you. You are letting the girl take control of your interactions with her. Man up or step down. Really, you've had plenty of opportunities to fuck her. Is she the biggest tease? No, she isn't. She opened herself to you plenty of times. Just act on it.

First thing is not to get hung up over this one girl. It might seem easy to do at face value but so many newbies fall into this trap. Treat her like an ordinary friend: don't put anymore of yourself on the line and don't act any differently towards her than you would to anyone else. Be yourself and treat her as if you've known her for years. Calling or texting is really up to you. Personally I would say call her; texting removes a lot of elements of interaction, such as actually hearing the othe…

You don't need women like that in your life, women that are willing to reject a person just from saying hello. That is the most shallow of the shallow things I've ever heard done.
/r/seduction10/09/11 06:28 PM

She was probably too insecure with you to give you her actual phone number because numbers are more personal than Facebook, so she tossed you her Facebook instead. If you tell us a little bit about the interaction between the two of you, we can help you figure out why, but it's hard to say anything based with the info you've given us. Good job nonetheless. Try and grab her number or outright forget about her though; Facebook doesn't really go places a lot of the time.

I have this problem too. I open a set - I call these sets "nests" - and stay with them for the night. I call them nests because I become too fond and comfortable with the people I meet and I don't feel like leaving the nest. If I do leave the nest though, it's always great to have somewhere to return to. Of course, I'm talking about flying solo here.

This is great advice. Great, great advice. OP, listen to this. Don't express your deepest love for her. Don't tell her you miss her. psyocal is right, you would not be thinking straight to bring these topics up. Escalate physically, drunk or not, and take a chance with sex. If you're really serious about this one, then take a risk. Otherwise, move up and out.

Action without strategy is worthless because it becomes a mindless task. It becomes a mindless task because you do not assign worth to it. First hand experience trumps all books and second hand knowledge. That's quite the bold statement to make and it's really funny as well. I disagree and I feel that many might have missed my point. From a constructive point of view, yeah, if you approach nervously, you're still making progress with your own lessons. You're still advancing your own skills as a pickup artist. You're still learning. But from a seduction point of view, if you approach nervously, you aren't likely to win many points from the lady. Lifestyle without pickup is boring or worse. I wouldn't go that far, man. Many people have lived incredible lifestyles without even knowing about pickup. You know what? I think I just might take you up on your proposition for this challenge. I just downloaded an anti-pickup line app full of cheesy, horrible pickup lines and I think they would make for great openers... especially since I actually have the app in front of me to vouch if she hates me for what I say. EDIT: Goal: 100 sets trying to follow the pickup steps in as orderly of a fashion as possible.

Opening a women merely involves initiating a conversation with her. That's what opening is. Some sides of the pickup community use canned openers; some don't. Really, it's up to you. If you're new to the pickup community, you'll notice this - people have different ways of doing things to the point where they're almost willing to insult one another. Walking up to a woman and opening her is the same way you would go about doing anything in life: with confidence. If a math teacher gave you a math eq…

Lol. I used the qualification line wrong, but what I really wanted was just to hear a little bit about her. She wasn't opening up about herself so I dropped that line to try and get her to. I also directly told her I really wasn't interested in dating her in hopes of getting her to talk a little more because I felt she might have been a little intimidated by going on a 1-on-1 with me.

Try and keep away from the typical boring conversational pattern. It's difficult to judge on anything based on what you have us. In my opinion, if you really want to know, it didn't seem like she was interested, but again it's difficult to gauge with what you gave us.

I really haven't heard any mainstream advertising for pickup as of yet but I do have something to say. Your idea of women being unaware that pickup artists are "working their magic" on them is a pretty funny sentiment. Back in the Mystery saga of pickup, there was indeed magic. There was indeed secrets. But the more modern approaches to pickup are just advocating accepting yourself first and foremost - inner game, as it's called - which in turn reflects on the way you act. There is no magic that…

Relationships are always a touchy subject because people are so diverse and are dynamic creatures, not static ones. Relationships are a touchy subject. There has never been a perfect relationship and there never will be, simply because people are just too diverse for that. Both situations are pretty different, I'm sure. Personally, when I drink, I feel less anxious, but I might not necessarily feel "at ease with the world." When I feel sleep deprived, as I do now, I actually slur my words less and can hold my frame stronger, as opposed to drinking.

it was one of the most pathetic parts of the book Aside from the entire book? ;) Kidding, but really. Being deprived of sleep and practicing pickup, or public speaking, or whatever, has to have some sort of connection. Outright denying they have any connection whatsoever is an overstatement; speaking operates in the brain and the brain requires sleep to function. That much is known, and from that at least we can draw a minimal connection. I think you might be exaggerating my point a little bit, …

Inner game is essentially confidence. As for your certain goals before you can feel confident... I chuckled to myself, to be honest with you. Confidence and happiness comes from within. Goals will bring you satisfaction but not happiness, although satisfaction can aid in becoming happy too. Happiness is a choice. Inner game isn't something you step aside to deal with. It's an ongoing thing for everyone. There's no need to step aside to "re-adjust your inner game."

It could be my body language. I've been working on it; in the past, I was very jumpy and excited with my actions. I took some heat from my brother & co. about it, and I accepted their criticism and worked on it for about a week in a half or two weeks. Yeah, I sometimes do "stone up" when I'm in uncomfortable situations. What I mean by stone up is my posture becomes solid, rigid even, which is sometimes often good, and I can plant myself in a spot for some time. Joking, somewhat, but those gigs are great because it's so crowded that you can do everything and if you fuck up, you can hop onto the next set. Not to promote sociopaths but jealousy can help relationships in some ways. I think it's a shallow overstatement to say that jealousy is bad for relationships; this is the year 2011 isn't it? Are we done using the terms good, evil, and bad now? Something can not be 100% bad; nothing in life is ever that black and white. Even the most pure forms of good and bad have other branches of good and bad inside of them. OP's uncomfortable with the position his relationship is in and is looking for advice…

Lol, trolls on the Seduction forum? Whatasurprise. So OP is an idiot because he wants to change an element of his life that he feels uncomfortable with. Well then, I guess we're all idiots, aren't we huckfinn68?

I don't have the time or the resources to maintain a lair. I'm not even looking for other guys that are into PUA, either; I mean the jockey, douchey-looking type of guys.

/r/seduction16/06/11 02:39 PM

Yup. I don't consider myself a weakling, however I don't have the mass that these guys had and I kinda felt like I stood out because I was in some dress shirt from earlier in the day.

I didn't approach any. None. Zero. Zilch. I was feeling heavily anxious because I haven't been to a bar or a club for a long time(especially a bar as crowded as that) and so I just sat down and watched the game with my pa. I still had a good time.

She could have been anxious about something. She might be having a bad day. I could come up with a million possibilities that explain her behavior, and so can you, but claiming she's crazy really is a shallow statement.

I'd say that's a bit of a stretch. Calling one girl crazy because she's asking nutrition questions for her own well-being is the exact same categorizing that us men are suffering when we go and speak to women.
/r/seduction13/06/11 03:33 AM

It's not too likely that you have a full-blown anxiety disorder. That said, you suffer what many of us here refer to as approach anxiety. Everyone suffers from it. If not approach anxiety, it's just social anxiety, which we all do suffer from as well. There is a way to get over it, of course, and you're dead on with the thought patterns bit. Unfortunately, as every good thing does, it will take some time and effort on your part. Let me make something clear to you, though: your brain chemistry is…

Talk to them and stay away from friendzoning topics, like where they work or where they're from. Yeah, being online on Facebook chat is somewhat a DLV, but really, it's such a small thing that it should barely matter. If anything, just do wall posts; gives you more time in-between to plan your next course of action and other people will notice it as well.
/r/seduction31/05/11 07:28 PM

Not exactly "my" topic per say, but I was watching a video where this guy pretty much went something like this Statement -> Question -> Statement -> Question until something clicks between you two. Then you work off that. Something like I love tennis. Do you love tennis? Well, it's not my favourite sport, but how about golf? Oh, not a sports person, huh? How about painting? What kind of art do you make? etc.

Good man. To expand what you're saying, many relationships are ruined when we become too reliant on other people's reactions(see: needy). I don't mean just intimate relationships like with your spouse or the person you're dating, but even family-related relationships or friendships with your bros. This is something I've personally noticed based on my own experiences. When people debate on whether they should get back into the game, they never got into the game in the first place. The point I was only trying to make was it was wrong of him to shut down the question altogether on the claim that it's nature. He was absolutely wrong in his statement and anyone that's looked into the actual argument of "nature vs. nurture" would know why.
/r/seduction16/05/11 01:16 AM
1

What I'm saying is, when Mystery says that IOIs are evolutionary and are hardwired, he's for the very most part wrong. The reason he thinks that IOIs are based off of nature as opposed to nurture is likely based off the "nature vs. nurture" false dichotomy.
/r/seduction16/05/11 01:15 AM
14

I love how Mystery dodged the first point he was approached with when he was told it wasn't evolutionary or hardwired. IOIs are just a product of conditioning and it shows because different cultures do give different IOIs. Eye contact in Japan is different than America, for example. I respect Mystery and his contributions to pickup artistry but some of the things he says are just plain wrong and based on false dichotomies.

Tofu, I know there are other alternatives out there, such as day game, but the thing I noticed with myself and with some of my buddies as well, is that if you go outside specifically to practice speaking with ladies, it turns out more awkward than if it came naturally. There really isn't anything wrong with using these ideas combined with other learnings. Hell, even David Burns, author of Feeling Good: The New Mood Therapy, is an advocate of using a schedule and a journal. The Now Habit also recommends using a variation of a schedule. It's all in moderation and situation, that's all.

The last thing you should do is blame your parents for your own problems. Your problems don't spawn from your parents - they spawn from yourself and your own thinking habits - the way you interpret things on a daily basis. That said, I'm in the same boat as you. I too am also looking for a close circle of friends. It's great to have a nest where you can return to when shit goes wrong and still have people to accept you. Many of my previous close circle ditched me.

Seddit, I know many of us are struggling AFCs without the greatest inner game. I know we all have some bad habits that we are trying to break, not only in order to be successful with women but to be successful with life. My friend sent me this short document yesterday to help me budget my goals and become successful. I took a look at it just now and have decided to share it with you. I know that many of us have access to Feeling Good: The New Mood Therapy and other therapeutical books that are w…

A lot of the early generations of PUA material focus on being an alpha in a very sociopathic way. That is, doing what you want, when you want, and not giving a fuck at all, all the time, because it makes you stand out from the rest of the cast of AFCs and alphas on the market. I believe that the more you delve into this early material, the more impact it will have on your psychology because of it's sociopathic tendencies. You might want to change your direction therefore to the newer, more moder…

My turn, my turn! Myth #1: PUA is about deceiving or manipulating women. Response Myth: The only lies ever preached here are in the form of innocuous openers that you can do without. My response: The early foundations of pickup artistry - that is, the Mystery Method - are based on deception and manipulation. Back when I began reading PUA books, I was constantly reading on ways to lie to build attraction. The Mystery Method is essentially a system used to manipulate women's emotions into sleeping…

What's not fair? This isn't anything new at all. The Mystery Method was entirely about manipulating ladies and their emotions so that you can show them a better side of you, a side of you that every lady is looking for, regardless of whether it was true or not. The early foundations of PUA are bent around this. It's not necessarily a bad thing, but it isn't anything new either. A better question is, why didn't I find a therapist before? Everyone has problems. Everyone has psychological disorders. They might not be full-blown disorders - they could be lighter and smaller, but still symptoms of a disorder or a case that hasn't evolved into one yet. With that in mind, I think that everyone should have a therapist.

First definition is where I stand. No use in arguing at this rate. The definition of an artist does not support your statement on accomplishments and training, either, and I think you're trying to divide something that doesn't need division. Boxers and fighters of sort need to train for a big fight, but even their smaller training sessions are accomplishments. Learning a right hook is an accomplishment, and mastering the correct form for an uppercut is, as well. These are accomplishments on a re…

Even if they're the typical nice guy AFC, that's they're game. They have their own expectations and reasons to act that way. As much as I disagree with what you're saying because anything can be tested by anyone here, I think a lot of this advice is not very good. I don't know why magic tricks are looked down on so much in the PUA community. Everyone loves magic tricks, and even if they do come off as cheap at times, they still are entertaining while supplying a good amount of easy kino and smiles. On top of that, they almost entirely frame the situation in your favor, since you're the one running the magic trick. Whereas the modern PUA methods are built on developing inner game, routines are there to push players onto the field because it's easier to run your game when you know what to say. Some of these books aren't even for being social. Some focus on massages. On sex. On magic tricks. Sure there are a ton of PUA books thrown in there for good measure, but there are also a ton of books that cover topics that users here ask about all the time.

Yeah, a lot of the "books" here are cheese, but if you take every book with a grain of salt and draw your own conclusions, you'll be fine. And remember: experience is more important than all 525 books you'll find in that torrent.

When did I say that being a pickup artist is something to strive for? I personally believe everyone is a pickup artist. All I said was the PUA community uses closing as a way to gauge success. When I say specific pickup artists, I mean professional ones.

I beg to differ on your first point. Many PUAs give a 6 month time frame for training before actually developing a strong understanding of the game. I'm giving like 5 years here. 5 years. Also 8 hours for two number closes. That isn't a small amount of time to ask for a lot of us, But yeah, I didn't bother editing the times - they're directly from the Fitness poster. Wow, why so much hate Seddit? I understand that I'm perpetuating stereotypes through these kinds of posters and I know it's based off of one big slippery slope fallacy. But seriously, this poster is just a redone poster of the original Fitness one. I tried to make the idea and the points very similar to it. That is not what this poster is intended for, though. I was trying to make it very similar to the original poster, which is based on the macho jock fitness assholes. Reggie has the right idea here. I've personally been through that loop before - that "I need to change before I am happy" state. I actually believed that no one should remain content with their lives because that acts as an excuse to not change. I still do believe that to an extent, but not as cynically as I used to before. Not many people like playing games, bro. The idea of being a manipulative skank turns people off from it. By the same token though, the product of playing games turns a lot of people on as well. There was a post on Reddit a little while ago where someone said that it's such a turn on to be fingering a girl because you're in control. Being in control of a girl's every hip movement and when she cums down to her very breath is incredibly arousing. I didn't make the post but I absolutely agree with …

This one is amazing. Walk up to a lady. "Hey baby, do you have any [your ethnicity] in you?" Basically, ask her if she's Irish, Indian, or whatever, but phrase it so that's it's your race. I'm Italian, so I'd say "do you have any Italian in you" as in, do you have any Italian blood? She says no most of the time, for which you respond "You want some?" As a general rule of thumb, you shouldn't be a watcher for too long.. You want to be in the action yourself. When you watch events unfold in front of you, firstly, you're in your own head. You need to get out of your own head and into the moment. Secondly, by watching, you're projective yourself as an observer and not someone that takes action. Of course, that doesn't mean you shouldn't observe things. Sometimes, it's strategic watching and waiting is fine. But on the field, for the most part, y…

You can't tear down an entire knowledge bank by saying "there's no 100% way of proving this" because that's a fallacy and it can be applied to anything. There are ways to influence what people think about you, and these are observed through studies and patterns. They may not work all the time but they do work. The human brain is far more complex than we make out to be, and I know that muscle structure wasn't exactly the most accurate comparison, but at the same time, for the point I was getting at, they essentially work to the same effect: if you keep pushing and building muscle, it gets bigger. At the most simple point, it works that way with the brain as well. From my knowledge, after directly opening, you can skip transitioning entirely because you're displaying attraction for the other person. You don't need to transition the conversation over to a single-topic conversation because you're already there. An example would be something like this "Hi, I really liked your hair and I had to come and talk to you." "Oh, thanks." "Yeah. Where are you from?" (the hair bit can tie into where they're from) Personally I'm not very good at being direct with peopl…

Day game relies heavily on direct openers, which are openers that display attraction. "Hi, I just saw you there and had to come and speak with you" is a great example. With direct openers, you can skip right into the meat of the conversation with the person. Direct openers need heavy body language and tonality as well. Warming up goes hand-in-hand with day game and recalibrating. Open a few sets asking for directions. Compliment a lady on her choice of nails. Escalate quicker. On the day game fi…

What girls want is up for grabs. Personally, I feel that most ladies are not looking for a nice guy 100% of the time.
/r/seduction15/03/11 11:24 PM

This. What it comes down to is that people look at the "nice guy" stereotype in one dimension, which is someone who let's others step in front of him(and some times on top and over him) instead of doing so himself. The one-dimensional nice guy image lacks confidence, which is exactly what the alpha douche bag image has. So, the nice guy behavior actually does work, but only with confidence.

I've been told I have a really awkward sense of humor but when my friends get the joke they laugh pretty hard at it. Regardless, I've been working on that because it's very rare for them to get the joke. Thanks for the heads up though.

I was joking around too.

I was actually using the line for warmup. But hey, if you hate white peepz having yellow fever, maybe you shouldn't have brought your people? (just my opinion on things anyways, let's not turn this into a debate) I really wasn't trying to build a unique opener, but just something that would have people smiling, laughing, and talking, and I could see myself definitely working off of it.

It's a shame that even though I've stated once already, I'm still being downvoted and people that can't seem to understand it are being upvoted. No biggie, I'm used to Reddit's voting ways.

Congrats, thanks for reading. It's people like you that honestly turn me away from PUA material.

I didn't assume that. If they didn't give me a Chinese accent, it gave me room for conversation because I could ask where they were from and work from there. But I understand what you're saying.

Could it be my delivery that inspired my friends to make that comment?
/r/seduction11/03/11 09:26 PM

I don't believe I was "tooled" by my friends. To be "tooled", I'd have to be used. I built this opener and used it myself without anyone telling me to. I might have made a tool out of myself but I don't think anyone has tooled me. In any event, thanks for the explanation. I don't really think I was seeking approval, but at another angle, I can see the side of myself that was. I was really just trying to act funny though and was just warming myself up a bit.

Asking people to show me an accent =/= racism. Maybe some would take offense, but it really isn't racist. I'm just generating humor and a conversation topic.

No, I don't think it's entirely responsible for the changes. The most important factor was you.

If I find anything I'll let you know boss. Seriously though, I think the whole introvert vs. extrovert categories are holding us back.
/r/seduction08/03/11 10:49 PM

Personally, I want to do a ton more research on this introvert vs. extrovert idea. I can't understand how introverts cannot become extroverts. There's just nothing to show that, aside from traditional knowledge. With all of our information in neuroscience that shows that our brain is adaptable to nearly anything, I can't see how introverts cannot become extroverts. I haven't found anything scientific for or against it, but just the same old repeated ideas.

Bathroom meetings! Hahaha yesssssssss. Some time earlier this year, I was at a bar with some friends. I went to take a piss and some white guy, a ton more built than I am, approached me while I was washing up and asked me about this girl he was dating. From there, a black guy got in on our conversation. Mad warmup reps right there and it felt so good to show my friends that I was chatting up some guys around the bar that weren't completely involved with them. :D

I know how it feels, man. My cousin, who's a bit older than I am, brought his girlfriend to a family buffet once over at Mandarin. He was acting really shy over dinner, something he isn't known well for, to the point where his girl was actually giving me looks and IOIs. I kept myself away from her for obvious reasons but trust me man, we've all been there.

No, I'm just worried that if I consistently visit a certain location on a regular basis, such as the mall or my college, people will get to know me and label me appropriately. Makes sense, no?

All I'm saying is that video games do get your brain working, and there are certain games and certain aspects of games that boost social skills. I think there's a study floating around that shows RPGs or The Sims or something does this.

Although I can see why you'd find it sad, I personally don't find it that way. In the end, who really cares what reason they're picking up ballroom dancing or learning Japanese for? The interest is still there, albeit maybe differently rooted, but they're still doing it for themselves.

r/seduction =!= r/selfhelp They don't need to be mutually exclusive. Building inner game is all about self-help and less about seduction.

This KassemG is a YouTuber worth watching. What he used to do is he would go out on the streets of California and interview people on a certain subject, which is a typical PUA approach. From there, he'd work his way in with some jokes, mostly sexual, all while doing it with incredible confidence and tonality. All his "California On..." shit is live, filmed in-field, and is pretty hilarious to watch. He may not be a formal PUA but he sure does have his game down pretty well, even if it is somewha…

If part of this community honestly sent you angry messages that didn't resonate well with you, I personally want to tell them to fuck right off. One of the first things we're told when we begin adventuring into our own game is that everyone's game is different - yet there are actually members of Seddit that are pushing this guy away from this subforum because they disagree with his methods? Yeah, you can fuck right off, because you don't belong here. You don't belong on Reddit so get the fuck of…

I plan to finish the RSD audiobooks because I find them pretty motivating when I have a bad day in the field or something and even if they are a rehash, they still affirm my beliefs and make me feel better about my own state. Practical Pickup seems to illegitimate to bother with because it's just a blog giving out tips. I have a bunch of actual PUA eBooks that I can scrounge through, though, so if you have any suggestions from there, come at me bro.

I don't think I have the correct tonality to go in for the direct game yet, but I'll work it around a bit. I find that even though stalker is a very loaded word, it pushes the cart along well because I express the "good sides" of the stalker as well.

Yeah, they were focusing on their work. And they really weren't budging. But any good artist - and I don't mean PU artist, I mean artist of their specific art - wouldn't stop there. I know there's a way to get through to these lovelies and feel bad because I wasn't able to open that gap. I wasn't going for seduction. I personally want my work environment to be very social and find it a tad depressing if it isn't - and it wasn't. I mean, one of the girls was even shaking before I spoke to her. Ma…

Deal with it. That's the best advice any of us can offer. Genes are something we as a person cannot change with our current technology... luckily, that's why fashion exists. If they're going for your buddy, then clearly your buddy is doing something right that you are doing wrong. Looks play an important factor but not the most important one.

I'm in a similar situation as you are. I do constructive readings while I'm alone - I'm on the qualification chapter of Magic Bullets, for example. But it's different at school. There's a different type of pressure on you.

She's the gf type I suggest you drop that notion because it's only going to hold you back. Ladies want you to think that they're only the GF type but that realistically isn't the case for most ladies. Forget that whole notion and assume every girl you meet wants to fuck you, unless explicitly stated. And even if it is stated, work around it.

I'm only in college for a few more months, though. I joined late and many of the social circles you're mentioning have already been formed, meaning I'm going to need to somewhat push my way into one. That's my biggest problem right now. I have a social circle consisting of two girls but I really want to branch out to an already-developed circle.

The whole argument bit, although true about people not liking it, is pretty poor. Arguing can accomplish a lot and society gives it a really bad rep for what it is; a discussion. In any event, decent advice.
