Alright guys, I'm reporting in for my first day game closure. I opened 5 individual chick sets over at my local mall and had a ton of fun doing it after I got my engine rolling. I had a ton of fun and totaled about an hour and a half to two hours in time.

I didn't bring my phone or any electronic accessories with me because I found them to be a distraction. I'll go over why later. I instead visited the Mac store and updated my Twitter after the first two sets, which I felt to be the same thing anyways. I carried a small notebook to record the sets with, which I'll report on now.

  • I used the stalker opener. Something like "my friend has a stalker, who first started over Facebook, then Twitter, and now text messages. They're flirting back and forth a lot and she's been stalking him for about 3 months. They're thinking of setting up a date to see each other. What should my friend Mike do?"

  • First set - I wandered around before opening up some ladies at Teopia, which is like a Starbucks for specifically tea. One of the ladies there I had old small relations with, but she didn't recognize me. Anyways, as the first set of the day, this one was a bit more tricky, but the conversation went far. There was really no progression past the opening though, but her suggestion was that Mike should bring a friend on a date to see the stalker just in case. There was another lady working but she didn't get in on the conversation.

  • Second set - I walked into Aeropostal and found some DOPE graphic tees that were going for like $25. I was actually interested in the tees, so I brought them to an Asian associate working off to the side and opened with the tees, then the stalker approach. She was really friendly, smiley, and laughing. I tried to continue the approach past the opening but she wasn't buying into it by saying shit like "oh so you have experience with this stalker thing huh? ;)" and so I left after she suggested me something from the chick flick You've Got Mail.

  • Third set - I really shone here. I went into Roots after checking out a few other clothing lines and particularly liked their varsity display jackets. I asked where the guy's section was and was directed to the back. There I found my target - a black lady with an awesome hairdo who looked to be in her 20s. I approached her while she was carrying some shirts and asked if she was busy cuz I needed some advice. She went off and came back without the shirts this time. I opened with her and had maybe a ten minute talk around the opener. She was really smiley and laughy and I caught her a few times with some flirting but we never really progressed further than the opener. She gave me generic advice and so I left.

  • Fourth set - Was at a jewelry stand. I asked for a pen to note in the Roots lady in my notebook and opened the lady. She was smiley but she gave a quick answer. There was also a customer around so she was really straightup and didn't leave much room for expansion. Generic advice.

  • Fifth set - Another jewelry place. I opened to the lady and the more I talked, the older she looked. The answer she gave made her seem even older, and then her manager walked in so I dipped early. Not much to say here.

So I wasn't able to progress past the opening stage, which was a bit of a let down, but once I got my social wheels turning I got on my game and had people smiling. I learned that even with canned openers, I can still make them my own even if they are for the most part lying, and I honestly did feel genuine with what I said and how I acted.
