Hmm I wonder what a Cards Against Humanity variant would look like... Basically it would be: Apologize for being a guy. Another card would be "wake up and be proud of yourself." But that would later be removed from print because it "triggered" someone. http://blog.maxistentialism.com/post/91476212698/this-is-a-blog-post-thats-incredibly-confusing

I agree with you. Gossip belongs in a small circle. Giving gossip a massive platform for people to gossip with strangers is unethical, giving a group of people where there is no potential fallout from gossip (like LULU) is just insane. [I'm assuming that LuLu only shows the inform if someone looks up another person... so friends of a guy won't see a bad review of the guy when it comes up unless they explicitly look for it] Hearing the argument "you should embrace it because it gives the girl mor…

I think this whole online person rating bullshit/and gossiping is stupid for both genders. Its not healthy and people need to call that shit out. I miss the 90s where everyone had less options for communication. If you wanted to meetup with someone you had to make plans, if a person regularly didn't follow up with the plans they were universially known to be unreliable.

One of the important things I've learned is that a relationship is over when the girl is convinced that it's over. Once she's changed the "i'm in a relationship" bit in her mind. Its over. Theres no formal discussion, the guy isn't involved. Its over.... Its incredibly fucked up, however that's how it is.

I find it funny that they are trying to take the high road on this one, as if they haven't been trolly or inciteful in the past. I also find it amusing that they have to give a "top x" list of why you shouldn't like the site with selective qoutes.

48 laws of power: . "Keep Your Hands Clean You must seem a paragon of civility and efficiency: Your hands are never soiled by mistakes and nasty deeds. Maintain such a spotless appearance by using others as scapegoats and cat’s-paws to disguise your involvement." That's what they're doing. I don't buy the argument that the MIL is dripping poison in her ear. It is possible that the wife is considering a divorce or cheating/has-already-cheated and told her mother. The MIL balked and she can't tell the husband about the context without revealing her motives.

This is an very interesting question. Last night I met a girl that was pretty good about this. I can't really tell you how to go about this, but I can tell you what I liked about her approach. She was honest. Even though she had a BF she didn't completely kill the conversation. I urge sedditors to resist the urge to defend PUA/seddit outside the community. It's a very "controversial topic" and you ended up loosing friends over it. If people want to know about it they'll see your success and ask about it.

Its not possible to live an "interesting" and authentic life 100% of the time. There are downtimes. The only person that is 100% up has a personal PR person. Note: I'm not suggesting that you have really beta status messages saying "i need a girlfriend" etc. [I've seen tons of those]

I would imagine that he's moved to more of a management position. But that's my opinion. I can't imagine that he's gone natural as that would require rebranding his business. Gambler went to become more of "natural"/inner game. [And thusly rebranded] Roosh went and did the whole redpill/rok thing. I keep mixing up terminology, I see "natural game" as in the theory behind the routines as being ingrained.

It's good to have them hope that, but don't do that. Your job is to let them know lets hang out, not to be their saving grace. You get more respect for having them do some of the work.

Do that as you're about to leave. Rule of thumb, make sure that the information isn't said out loud and they enter it on your phone. The guy isn't your problem to worry about. Bonus points: Turn it into an instantadate by texting them: "Hey, let's go to [place near by] .. " Side note: By the comparison effect this guy will do more for you than a wingman who is complimentary.

If its the AAUW study, from my understanding: 1. it was a very loose definition of sexual assault. [Any unwanted touches deamed with a sexual context were included (A brief touch of the hand and saying a sexual term could technically fall into that category)] 2. The data has not been released [despite requests] for scrutiny. I may be wrong, but that is what I was told in class about the study.

I don't agree with your approach at communicating that. To me the article's tone appeared to take a "its alright if you're not operating to 100% success" and split the road between being completely naive/unorganized and a star-alpha. The whole idea of "alpha males" is more of a goal to emulate or learn how to become yourself. As someone out in the field you can't just be James Bond, you aren't and you can't. I don't know about your area, but in mine it has a mix of girls who: Are looking for a replacement husband for their kid Are deceptive about their picture [it turns out the pic was years old and now they have trouble fitting through a door] The profile is fake They're using it to build their ego They're utterly paranoid of meeting anyone. Even a public place is too much for them. My experience with OKC is so bad that it's completely turned me off to online dating.

So what do you suggest? Night game is good because it brings a bunch of unrelated people in the same room. Day game requires you to deal with an environment where girls are few and far between, also it forces you to deal with those who chose to isolate themselves from the world.

True, my problem is that seduction/pua is all about changing your current non-working skillset. But naturals push the "you can be this" but never explain how. Pickup/seduction isn't suppose to be something that you're accepted for. When you let the cat out of the bag it no longer works.

Manipulation has an incredibly bad repuation. Manipulation isn't bad, except when it attempts to defraud or con someone out of something. When its used to meet both party's needs ... its not a bad thing. For example: When a company advertises that phone #1 has more features, its manipulating you to believing that the features are valuable. Are they? Well thats up to you. When those features don't exist thats a con and the manipulation is bad.

I don't get the whole inner game only people. Inner game is one of those long seduction types. Yea it teaches you to feel better about yourself, but why should the girl care about that when you first meet her. You're not interesting. You're not unique.

I don't have a lot of sources to collaborate with so this is from my own suspicions. They have an ultraconservative friend who's anti-sex and then it makes the friends sway towards that way. Kinda like a couple bringing a kid to an all adult party. Conversations get hushed, behavior changes, etc. This is more of in social-liberal areas in the bible belt. In conservative areas its more of an "us vs them" (the ones who are fully no-premarital vs the partiers).
/r/seduction25/10/12 05:28 AM

My thought is that women believe they know best for their friends, and haven't been corrected for it. This kinda makes things hell for people in the bible belt. Also the only reason its unquestioned is that women tend to support each other over any guy. Another potential reason is to have a high market value. [Giving more bargaining power] With that they can get more drinks/dates/etc by doing less.

On the friends part. Bring a friend that understands why you're going out. Most friends will try to be the mother hen type. PUA/Seduction is all about being inclusive with who you can meet. Closing out people is pretty shitty and isn't what we're about.

Go out to a night club and try to make your goal to get rejected as badly as possible. Make it a game to see how badly you can get rejected. That'll at least help you callibrate on where the line in the sand is, and it'll give you an idea on what people find amusing, insulting, and/or boring.

I was referring to "creaper" comments, suggesting that guys are undatable if their clothing isn't fashionable, etc. So you just set the bar at "skills, assets" as something thats not objectifying, but someone else's opinion of attractivness is? [Should we take this to PMs? since its really out of scope?] So you're trying to fight for how you think other people may feel? When you talk about women being tought of as sexual things. [Objectification] That it works both ways, men are judged on their "worthiness" by women, and that evaluation is even shared within their groups as well. Naughty! :) Outside of this case. [Which was perfectly relivant, despite the disagreement] Why do you think that people care about hearing what a feminist thinks? To me it seems that feminists try to push the whole "sexist" label as to invoke some kind of white-guilt like response. Nah, too confrontational. Just let things be. Its really a pissing contest to see who breaks first. Just play it cool [its really easy if you recognize the situation], but still control the conversation. Girls really pickup on when a guy is trying to outdo another guy. It really turns them off/scares them away when it happens.

From my experience, that is not the case. Its a nice thing to believe that under a different context that the girl could reveal a better attitude. However, there are girls out there that go to bars and clubs to shoot guys down, they do that and brag to their friends. It happens, it doesn't matter about the guy. He made the effort to go out and introduce himself to her. She wasn't very fun, and tried to take it out on him. [She judged him to be "undesirable" to the point of being cross with him].…

What you're talking about is "theory". All feminist theory amounts to is a bunch of women [and a few guys] had opinions on something before. There is no factual basis to back it or the tone it attempts to set up. When you talk about sexual objectification, next you're going to tell me the male lab rat is misogynistic because it sees the female lab rat as something to be bred.
/r/seduction05/04/12 12:47 AM
-1

Its not generic advice, but its good advice on what to do. Yea, it was a bit more confrontational than most would like, but it shows that you were able to stay calm, assess the situation, and then address it, and walk away. You also invoked a really cool form of reverse-jealousy. [The girl you were with at the fire was happy to see a negative person taken care of]
/r/seduction05/04/12 12:34 AM
1

Or you could say: "I made you speachless didn't I? " And come up with some way to challenge her. Eh, that girl has the potential to ruin state, he acknowledged the problem and fixed the loose end. Also, he ended up being most alpha one there by standing up to the aggressor and defusing the situation without physical conflict.

Do you even know how each of those work? They aren't comparable... they all still work ... have you used an opener 'hey did you see the fight outside?' That still works like the day it was released. NLP, that works like magic. Inner game, it works if you're going from a complete slob. At that point pretty much anything will make you look better. NLP and Mystery are outer game. No girl will come up to you when you enter a club because she feels "oh this guy has a great personality."

Its the person assigning the number's own attraction. Although a girl can "act like a [1-10]"
/r/seduction14/03/12 05:59 PM

The number scale is so you can easily describe the level of attraction to others. When writting about FRs its more about how you handled the situation, what you did well, and how you can improve, so it doesn't matter if you talked with Sally or Jane. It matters if you talked to someone REALLY attractive or someone uninteresting. A 1 to me may be an 8 to you.

Feminists are not hard to "pickup." Feminism [the support of] is used on guys as a shit test. If you want to pass that shit test say you don't support it, and explain why you don't. "Talk to her like a human being." Seems to be good advice. The character didn't even get a chance to say anything to her. It was basically an opener and then she rejects communication. Thats not "human" communication that's an aggressive response. It didn't say it was yelling, but all of the text on the comic is in upper case, so thats really up to the reader to determine. I just implied that was was yelling or an agressive expression. Because shes not a doormat and this is her rejection. A reje…

Most people/girls don't do whats in the comic because They aren't omniscient [unlike in the character in the cartoon] Well there's a social penalty by the girl if they react incredibly rash. Everyone in the room that is remotely paying attention to whats going is going to ask: "Why did she explode at someone that just walked up to her?" followed by "Shes freaking crazy" (regardless of what actually happened) [for good reason... a person that explodes at others is threatening/unstable] [From the …

Wygnant either sounds like he burned out and is trying to claim hes better than everyone or a natural. Its all about your environment. If you're in LA and pickup has just gotten good: Don't used the canned lines. Also, hes confusing terminology, a pickup line is not an opener. Hes complaining about openers. Kinda.... Wygant is more of a Natural [not natural game] hes saying "you can do this and that, just do it." Then he doesn't explain the inner workings. Openers are designed to create conversations. Pickup lines are "short witty lines" that don't neccessarily go anywhere. Sassha and Mystery are more of the either have fun or get a conversation-going style. Being observant is pretty much being outcome depended. Its a dumb idea.

Its not going to get better, the crappy behavior is supported and the egos are validated. A year or two in the real world, post college, many start realizing that the middle school/high school that they've been trying to pull doesn't fly. Also, 40 year olds are eating their free lunch. :)

For women? Nope. Just wait a few years, you'll see. I find that women grow more in personality from 25-28 than 18-23. [During 18-23 its just more of the same shit magnified]
/r/seduction20/02/12 04:55 AM

College to post college isn't really that much different for girls than it is for guys. At that age they're just getting used to the college life, afterwards they tend to have less friends. Personally I haven't seen that massive amount of personal development in that time period. I could be wrong.

As heat said, most people look ot avoid fights. But they do happen. Don't get in a fight, even more: Don't get in a fight over a girl. You'll loose if you do that. Back off from a fight, and notify the bar tender/bouncer. If they don't do anything never go back there again. [They're harboring people who are interested in fighting]

Those "asshole bahavors" are AFC behaviors. What we do isn't really that new. Before social networks/internet/mobile phones it was just what everyone did. Its kinda hard to get one-itis when your communication channel is via mail, or to look needy when everyone has just a landline phone. To that list, I would add "judging others based on your own standards" People who look down upon pickup are typically the types who say "well that's wrong" but they won't consider if its effective or that others…

Frankly, I've had worse wings. To me that sounds like something that could be fixed later, just let him know hey that wasn't cool. As far as the freakout goes, I've had a few of those. Mostly they're where the girl just completely looses interest and leaves, or she just completely shuts down. It happens to the best of us. A previous wing even had a girl just burst into tears and shutting down at an opener.

Its better to get it over with, than to try to "wait" for the best situation. Don't take it the wrong way, it really depends on the approach you want to take. If you're interested in going the seddit/pua route, you want to make hooking up "not a big deal" ... if you haven't had sex before that is slightly difficult to pull off. If its a bad first time look on the bright side, you can only improve on it from there!

Seduction is about attraction and building up relationships from the groud up, its not about how to maintain a girl [LTR], or getting married. That would be for /r/sex, /r/relationship_advice? (i don't know how effective that would be) To get to the point where you can get to an LTR or a marriage you need to meet a girl first and there has to be attraction. That is where Seduction/seddit comes in. Yes you can use some of the stuff to "re-invigorate" a relationship, but thats a side effect.
/r/seduction10/02/12 10:09 PM

Seddit's scope really isn't on the long term dating or marrying bit. Our scope is more of the beginning of that.

Most are going to say no... however it does have an effect on it. It won't stop you, however it can make things more difficult. If money is tight, its going to be hard to pay for cover at a club. I've got to agree with you on this. There is a lot of pressure put on the guy to have an amazing conversation, but the verbal flirting by women is typically horrid.

For a guy its not abnormal, for a girl to have a number that she hasn't contacted in a month is way outside the norm. [YMMV]
/r/seduction06/02/12 09:42 PM

Its putting effort into going after a girl you haven't communicated for a while You and she have met a lot of people since then Girls tend to overreact about those kinds of things. Before he might have been the fun guy, after texting it could easily be interpreted as the "weird guy who found her number" ... texting strips out a lot of context out of the communication

I'm in the tech field so I get it. Its really not about an amount of interest its because of these things: Wayyy too much information to process at one time. [You're going too far in depth] You're not listening to what the other person may have to say about it. The other person isn't interested in what you're saying and you aren't giving them a chance to ask questions How you're talking about your subject may not be productive. Monotone voice, or dead body language.

Sedditor Being an introvert doesn't mean that you can't communicate with people. Find better friends. I'm also 25, I got into pickup arround 22/23. Honestly, I'm not sure you fully understand the core issues that are making you unhappy. That's not something we can help with, thats something very personal that you'll have to discover. Once you bring the issue that is making you unhappy into consciousness, you can tackle the issue. I'm assuming this may have already happened, if you're completely stuck try different resources. Try resources that make you uncomfortable.

Sedditor My advice is a bit different from Dutch, and osu. There are two different types of approaches. Theres a warm approach and theres a cold approach. Warm approach is similar to meeting new people through friends or a related event. Lets say an intro to college "ice breaker" [Meetup, etc] A cold approach is when you meet someone completely unrelated to you. This is typically at a club [the worst], bar, or on the street. Warm approaches are simpler, more likely to be successful, and are less…

I mostly agree with you, however I think that its kinda a strength of the material. You have to go out and experiment on your own. Also, without having the complete picture, you can find out what works for you and what doesn't. One thing that the books won't help with: oneitis, toxic thoughts, and body language. You need a good friend/wing to help you out on that.

If you have a wing, allow your wing to lead the set while you leave for a few minutes. When I've been on dates that I didn't find the girl attractive I just switched to the nice guy deal. Offer to buy her a drink, pay for dinner etc. That usually solves the issue right there.

I interperted the comfort building step as a way to get to know the girl a bit more and add more time to the whole interaction. I side with 30van.. I draw the line at committed relationships and married people. I'd rather not burn the karma for a married woman. However if I meet a girl that has a bf and is interested in cheating or leaving I couldn't care less. Women cheat all the time, its not a male only behavior. That being said, if the girl is extremely interested and cant stop reminiscing about here bf thats a no go.

I think there's a reason why you [general term] may not be confident. I think that its because you don't realize how irrelevant it is to fail. Go out approach sets, try to humiliate yourself, say dumb shit, insult, try to do things to get blown out. [Do this without drinking] (This is just a theory so take it with a grain of salt) If you do try to go for broke, write up an FR about it.

IIRC: Nothing in the "old PUA" methods claimed you had to stay in and endure a set. I also don't recal, but I suspect it was inferred that a person get out of a bad set. [Otherwise you'd lose social value] Actually, at least the mystery method advised turning your back to the girl and talking to other people in the group. Pickup/seduction isn't a "tour de force".

From what I've learned about pickup and pickup forums is there are a lot of misunderstandings about it. Additionally there are people that get emotionally involved/upset, because they feel that it shouldn't work that way. In short, I don't think we should have to validate or explain. For example, I will never go to a person and say I want to teach you this skill. I'll wait for them to come and want to learn it.

This is actually a good idea. Usually, I'll agree with Protuhj. However actors are trained to be able to produce specific emotions despite the situation. I would also suggest this to watch for facial expressions and how to control your reactions. Look at how Deep controls his actions in Alice in Wonderland and how he compares his reactions in Pirates. Take away his expressions and reactions and you have a very dull movie/script.

I believe that roosh had a suggestion for a text to send in that situation: "8=======>"

I'm not buying it that she's interested in seeing you. She's interested in money. Play her for that, but don't pay her. [IDIOT-Proofing my comment: Don't make any suggestion you're willing to pay her for anything]
/r/seduction22/09/11 02:28 AM

You could go with a few different approaches: Misdirection: "you forgot your keys last week at my place again" Direct: "I'm not interested in buying a dance" Also, when you met her did you pay her at any point?
/r/seduction22/09/11 02:08 AM

Tell her something to the extent of this [as bluntly as you can]: "My friend suggested that I meet you... however I get the impression that you're too nice of a girl and I'm not really into that kind of a thing, sorry" then walk away.

Saying the truth closes the loop. [See open loops] Typically these things are asked based on first impressions [and (according to the MM) shouldn't be used to build comfort] The diabetes deal is a disease, it'll bring up the whole pity/negative emotion vibe. What I was suggesting is to push the issue to be addressed later.

Lying about the armed forces is a DLV, and you could be called on it. Be playful. Say that you were demining a field in Kentucky, or its a war injury from the first world war. [Make it obviously untrue]
/r/seduction20/08/11 06:32 AM
6

Saying the truth doesn't give anything to the conversation. Thats like telling the girl exactly what you do for work. Its boring, and doesn't really give her a response. Telling the girl that you lost it in the first world war means that you won't take her serious, shes going to have to impress you, and you're willing to be playful.

I rarely ever give advice at people your age. [Usually at your age you should learn failure] but anyways your situation is as follows: 1. You're at an age where you must be discrete about your actions [you can't bring a girl back to your place and if she is in the same circumstance (i hope for yoursake she is) she can't do the same)]] plan an alternate location. Give her an excuse for considering you to be fun Read the sidebar

Words of wisdom (as compimenting RIPterriers) After an amount of practicing "PUA" you'll get to the point where not opening is worse than being rejected. Trust me, I'd rather get rejected from someone that I appraoched than if I'd have never opened. Once you open, and you play the game correctly, its all in their court on how they are to respond. It also gives you an indication on their personality.

The agenda that I'm intent in pushing is that Pickup is a skill. Its not a set of simple rules that you can foillow to globally pickup women, but its a set of abilities that you can create interest. Basically, not everyone is clued up on this, and I believe that many people don't realize that this is something one must practice with.
/r/seduction14/08/11 06:08 AM

I think that there was a misinterperation in what you mean. "Sort of tacky" looks like you're critizing it and calling it ineffective. Conversation pieces can fit in with the context.
/r/seduction30/07/11 11:26 PM
2

That has quite a large potential of coming off badly. But, that may be based on where you're from. In the US you're pretty stressed once you enter the airport. I found cocky/funny to be brilliant when at the airport.
/r/seduction30/07/11 08:07 PM

To put it in a very few amount of words: Its just confirming what she is doing is a good thing. If she flirts with you and you never give her confirmation that you're enjoying that she'll loose interest. [I'm not suggesting confirm immediately... but eventually]
/r/seduction30/07/11 08:05 PM

Thats something I haven't heard in a while....are there many people that use conversation pieces anymore? I think its a great idea but I haven't figured out a good one to use.

If you're in berlin this is enough to get in: "Entschulde... Ich habe ein frage. Kann sie Englisch sprenchen? Who has been saying "Warpig" or the derivations there of? I haven't heard this before. I've heard a few bastardizations of the HB/number rating. [Amongst some uninformed individuals berating it] However 'war pig' [imo] (the usage and the term) does not represent this community. It doesn't describe anything from person to person. The number system does because it invokes a personal reference/preference and is fairly ambiguous.

When I say make their job's more difficult. I mean dealing with girls that are paranoid about having their picture taken. Bad photographers that give off bad vibes scare the girls and make them [even more] suspicious about having their picture taken. [At least in Charlotte they are quite suspicious and paranoid in the first place]
/r/seduction03/07/11 09:36 PM
1

If you do it and screw up remotely, it makes the jobs of the photographers that have been doing it well job's difficult. Also, it makes girls paranoid of having their picture taken. The photographer's job depends on their reputation, club managers let them in for free as long as they don't tick off the people there. Its bad enough that Charlotte is in the bible belt.

I've been a member of this subreddit for quite a while now. Putting a lot of effort in a girl that is shy/"strong moral values" (that like beauty is subjective)/no casual sex reaks of oneitis. By all means go for it, what I stated was my opinion. My dealings with girls that fit that description have been wasted efforts. They take too much and never give anything back.

From my understanding of the content of the book I'm really kinda annoyed at the potential title. IMO: this is kinda like going up to a girl. What I get from those titles is that you are announcing "HEY MY NAME IS JIM-BOB-JOE-GEORGE I think you are attractive enough for me. I work as ..." What I'm suggesting is the title is kinda like an opener. There are metric tonnes of books on amazon that are titled closely to yours. Thats my two cents.

I don't know how you really act arround your friends but I'm slightly concerned about your intent. IMO Theres nothing really wrong about acting different arround your friends. Its really just small quirks you want to tune if girls are arround. For example, tone down racist jokes, etc. If you attempt to game them arround your friends, they'll be able to tell. Your friends should/will call you out on a behavior change. If they do that, you're screwed.

That is true, not all girls are quick to jump in the bed. If she is attracted to you AND confortable with you she will be willing to have sex with you. However, that assumes she does not have any mental reservations about sex. Alcohol is a crutch, and it prevents you from keeping up with the girls. Also your job is made even more difficult if you are drinking, you're judged for "drinking too much" by the girl. aka "hes drunk, hes just interested in having sex" -> "say no" Also its a dhv to not be drinking, if you can have fun without drinking that sets up appart from all of the other drunks there. I'm not saying that drinking is a bad thing, but it doesn't really help with your game.

My bet would be is that you won't get a text/call back. Typically, the guy is the one that makes the plans. Girls will make up any ridiculous reason to avoid going out with a guy. Rational or irrational, just to "be safe." What I'm saying: Its kinda like reading a book if there isn't a strong hook at the beginning then you'll be climbing uphill to regain the audience. Keep up updated with what happens.

This sounds more like a relationship advice question. Field reports are more of telling what you did, and asking for advice on how to improve. I don't get the impression that you did much in the interactions.

I understand what you're saying. I know a few waitresses and I've heard some of the crappy stories. I think that you misunderstood the whole teasing bit. Its not to directly criticise your work. How could they .... its before the transaction occurs. I believe that you are associating someone teasing early on with someone that's a jerk later. Screwing people, especially restaurant staff over isn't a tentant of this forum or of the supporting literature. I haven't seen you in this subreddit before…

If the waitress is bitchy I don't tip as well. Thats pretty much your job, to interface with people. Being a bitch to people leads convinces people that they are better off going up to a register and ordering food themselves.

Where are you basing your experiences off of. Any decent sized city [think urban setting where people live together] its nearly guaranteed there will be a good percentage of women that shit test like crazy. The whole deal with a shit test is that the woman is expecting the most common response from a guy... that is to argue it with logic. The tone that I was thinking was an (as a disqualifer) oscar wilde vibe. "you discovered Dec 10" is an exact date, "practically dec 2010" is an approximate. Going back to my original reply... imo.. you don't want to kill the connection... "I see you discovered ..." sounds a bit arrogant and could be a little too negative of a pendulum swing. Also... use an emotional word calling it "lame."
/r/seduction12/02/11 06:29 AM
1

Depends on the joke, situation and context. It shows high value to be the producer of the joke, the reception of the joke by the group, timing, and originality. Thats rapport. Don't be the one who adds value to someone else's joke. Adding value, accepting their joke is confort building.
/r/seduction12/02/11 06:22 AM

I don't think Seddit can help those with practice issues. I think the best way to work with number two is its something that helps the person figure out how the phrase works. If you respond with "thats what she said" after every thing the phrase doesn't work. I've heard a similar one about using a lint sheet [and opening girls]... "hey miss!! you had this stuck to you.." "how long were you walking arround with that?" [or some variation] I've been tempted to try that one but it keeps slipping my mind when I have all the stuff and I'm out.

If you don't agree with pickup being a set of techniques/methods then why are you here? Sounds to me that you are in the wrong place. BTW: Why are you critising TofuTofu and his ability when you haven't posted your own field report before?

Douchey? maybe its a matter of opinion, but when I see the words "grenade", the post a day or two ago about avoidng "ugly ones," or use of "bro"/"bro-tip" that is douchey.

Its better if you don't. Alcohol is a crutch for most. Going without drinking is actually a DHV, or at least being comfortable without drinking too much. Its funny how the guy is judged on the intoxicants that they consume and social behavior, but women aren't. [Not complaining... but its an old observation from me].
/r/seduction20/01/11 11:32 PM

I would disagree. In my experience that question is ingrained in their head as "what's your phone number." You'll get an automatic response, not based on how she really feels.

the people there, the vibe, the staff [to some extent] (do they try to cater to idiot frat kiddies by looking like fake strippers)... also ones that have a lot of people but still with room to walk around in. Well I agree that you shouldn't break people up but if the person you're "seducing" is trying to build options its already broken up on the girl's side.
/r/seduction15/01/11 12:09 AM
1

Depends what you consider good for you. But that kinda behavior is demonstrating what she wants to do and then attempting to say "i have a relationship" IMO: Shes building options. Don't expect anything long term.
/r/seduction15/01/11 12:08 AM
2

When you put it that way it does sound like the girl is looking for an affair, I doubt another relationship. Sidenote: I find it kinda odd that there seems to be a consensious here that "don't break up other relationships". It appears that she has already divested from the relationship and is building options. ""i don't get to have sex much anymore, here are the times that you could come over and bang me."" Audio would enhance immersion with usage, and create a stronger connection. But it could also ruin your set by bringing in other people and even guys [who would attempt to alpha you]. If you could manage half a bar good job. But forget about the whole going from set to set deal. Vibration feedback may be a bit better than audio since it only targets the user [possibly an interactive cat? swiping at the user] [My thoughts]
/r/seduction11/01/11 06:17 AM

When she goes into sharing mode again call her on it... "is that all you think about is sex?" ... and switch the gender stereotype [all girls ever thing of is...] embelish it, make her work, even try to embarass her [not too badly]
/r/seduction11/01/11 06:13 AM

Glad to hear I'm not the only one ... "sarging" is a bit of an odd term.
/r/seduction11/01/11 06:05 AM

That really has to do with state. If you have a really good state then your intention is to make a connection with the person you are trying to talk to. If you don't and you're "despriate"(outside the intention of "state" [I didn't create the term so I can't fix the usage]), which Bush seemed to be. Hes trying to please everyone rather than the person who has a generally agreeable concern.

Sounds like you got into the "comfort building" stage with her. I'm not seeing any kind of disqualification in your FR. I don't know your history with her, but it appears that shes ranting and raving with you rather than interacting. Either, that or she could be suggesting some kind of desire for "being objectified." Jezebel is with a war path with EVERYTHING. Occasionally with its self every once and a while. To me it appears to be a hen coop that, unfortunately, gets attention. A few months ago last year they even went after Jon Stewart, because of gossiping within their own community that the "women workers" were at some kind of disadvantage on his program.

"A Seddit-like sub for girls seems like a better idea, but I have a feeling it would end up resembling RelationshipAdvice more than it would Seddit." Dead on. I think Relationship Advice is what they are looking for. It doesn't serve the guy's needs [for attraction].

I'm not convinced that a specific subreddit is warranted. From all of the friends that I've had they all take advice from their friends. I'm not worried about karma.. but my thought is that the majority follow this forum because they feel "threatened" by these techniques. /r/seduction18/12/10 11:32 PM

I usually do a freeze out at this point, if I never hear from them again no big deal. I think the mistake that you made is that you make it way too sexual very early on. It sounds like that "she agreed to have it the next time we met" sounds like a shit test. If it wasn't a shit test she changed her mind 5 minutes after she left you.
/r/seduction18/12/10 10:37 PM

Well if its a long term relationship you shouldn't have standby options. That doesn't mean that people don't have that. Its a crappy thing in an LTR.

long story short she threw an epic fit, her friends liked me, but she dragged her girlfriends away ... they weren't interested in leaving.
/r/seduction17/12/10 04:40 AM

I'm not sure you can't actually compare the two. The idea of pua is that you've got options and that they must compete. A LTR you don't have that. Well I guess the concept of battle for "power" would fit what you're asking.

I can't remember the phenomenon but in real life people are a bit more forgiving because of an ingrained fear of social rejection. [Well "normal people" are] Through a text its all about the readers' current mood.

Its really about your state. NLP is a tool to help you "internalize" and ease in the state that you want. Its not really a technique you apply in the field [there are a few that you can but they aren't major win/loss influencers] but its a technique that will increase your "confidence" endorance [if you would]. I'm not an expert, I just finished the book.

Generally it looks like someone that can easily get along with women and they tend to get involved with the conversations. Its easy to get stuck where you are if you're winging with a person that is unmotivated to improve.
/r/seduction16/12/10 01:11 AM

Not trying to discourage you from it. But wouldn't a Social Psychology class be a bit more helpful? Learning about pickup to not achieve its main goal [becoming a bit more attractive] sounds more vouyeristic.
/r/seduction16/12/10 12:34 AM

I found this quite amusing when I was out one time. It was at a pinnup/model night at a club [one of the suicide girls was there and it was a specific theme].... There was a guy trying to show off near the photography couch... he had his shirt off, was ripped. Long story short no girl approached him.
/r/seduction16/12/10 12:11 AM

Also, it would help to go out and practice it with someone that already does well. I would like to see a "Best of" section though [i think this was mentioned in one of your previous posts today... but just thought it was approriate to say it]

I don't think you understand the reason behind the advice. It has several benefits. With exception to the "animal magnetism" group there is no subsection of pickup that argues against it.... for good reason. 1. Talking with others gives you social proof. [important for becoming a large player in the social arena] 2. Everyone isn't literal ... its most groups 3. Women evaluate you on how social you are, guys tend to go for looks. imo the only way it would work well is if you upped the anty and got really animated with it... so she would have to deal with two different competiting emotions

I'm not sure if I buy this arguement. The pictures aren't always yours, and you don't always have control over who tags you. Also... it seems to be more of a liability than anything else. However, I would agree with you if you were suggesting playful friends. [That'll grant you social proof]

That would work if its completely geared towards being perfect... however I seriously doubt that an, yet, unconvinced potential mate will judge the pictures fairly.

Also some of his techniques are a bit risky...direct and intentionally awkward.

If you really want to have this debate I would counter with what about the other party. If you are playing against other parties who lie and cheat their wait to get there is it really valuable to be "ethical." Women lie and cheat all the time, men lie, cheat and dishonour each other all the time. When you go up to a new group and the set or girl [if its just 1] has the "if he can't tolerate me hes not good enough" mentiality whats the benefit of being ethical. There are some basic ethics that sh…

men and women's humor tends to differ. Studies have shown that men go for the most laughter out of the group and women try to make it funny for everyone... or at least thats according to QI.

I would completely agree with you.... basically this sums down to .... nothing will happen if you do nothing... "nothing can come of nothing" (king lear) It doesn't matter who it is, humans are social creatures.

IMO: Thats a throwaway set keep it light, leave the oppourtunity there ... don't make it a single event... aka "hey you guys look adventurious... come join me at pool." What exactly did you say when you invited them?

On #3 what do you do if your wing is trying to invade your space and lock you out of the set?

Those lines are a bit too reactive... you're accepting their reality. I've got to agree with "throwraptor." Although my wing has picked up a group of girls without any attraction to play pool. [That was more of persistence]. To me it sounds like a part shit test and part rejection. Cocky funny may help you recover, but then again .... why both with these girls?

One of the funny things that I found was that the first book of The Rules Of The Game by Strauss was an erotik-book. It was well written, and appeared to be a motivator to get people to go by the 30 day challenge.

This sounds like a late game deal rather than early on. I though most of seduction was based on gathering rather than managing.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
