I have something to say about this and I'd like some input on it as well because I'm somewhat confused on the topic of giving and receiving value.

Now this thread advocates handing out compliments and giving value to others. That is really an alpha thing to do. By doing so, you would create positive emotions if you genuinely hand out value rather than do it to try and earn a few stripes for yourself. If you're a hairstylist, for example, and you see someone's hair you absolutely adore, it would be in your nature to compliment them sincerely on it because you genuinely adore it.

However, although passing out value is an alpha strategy, the question that I tend to stick on a lot is how much value are you supposed to hand out? Delivering compliment after compliment will definitely make you a more friendly and likable person but will it really get you out of a stage of being an AFC?

I have been reading a lot and discovering that every single human on this planet thirsts for the approval of others, for attention. While that is the case, giving people the attention they desperately want might not win you any points. Many PUA communities advocate the bad boy personality, and most professional PUAs give their students the advice to be narcissistic to an extent or even as a whole. Narcissistic individuals are not concerned about passing out value becAuse they are concerned with receiving it.

So, though you can be alpha by handing out validation to others, from my understanding in a seductive angle, it is more healthy and beneficial to limit your compliments and value-giving. Again, I'd like to have a discussion about this, so respond please.
