Is there anything to be said for the way a girl shakes your hand when you meet? I don't usually like to dig into the little details but it might be useful as a body language tell. My buddy told me they almost always give him the palm-in-palm, hands held straight/vertical type, but I was surprised because most of the time they give me the kind where they give you just their fingers and the palm is down (you know the one).

Edit: I'm referring to when you first meet a girl and you shake hands. I usually do hug subsequently and I've heard from a lot of people that you're better off doing something funny rather than a handshake at a first meeting, but that isn't always appropriate depending on the setting.
