Met a girl on Saturday night at an event. She was with her boyfriend, who shares a mutual friend. We started chatting and the more we talked the more she started to show IOIs. Asked me for my number (to which I gave her an open add contact page in my phone). Noticed her boyfriend was a real jerk (we were in a big group) and he just left her at times, called her names, yelled at her and made jokes at her expense throughout the night. At the end of the night I invited her to a public event a bunch of us were going to Monday night.

We texted the next morning briefly about a picture I took of her (her camera died). I emailed it to her and jokingly said I would only email it if she came to the event on monday. She replied of course, sounds great! She replied 45 mins before the event with "Im sorry you seem like a nice guy, but I am living with my boyfriend and it would be weird if I came to the event. I hope we can still be friends..."

Any ideas? Was the seduction technique good but then when it wore off she realized what she did? Thanks!
