Okay, this is long, it's pretty tame and probably not a big deal by PUA standards, but it is to me.

Went out last weekend with some buddies. It was my last weekend in my hometown, since I just landed a job in the Bay Area. (All of last week was spent driving across the country, so I haven't been able to type this till now.) So spirits were high, I was having a great time, a little drunk, talking with everyone, and generally not giving a fuck.

I was sitting at the bar at one point, and this gorgeous HB9 (HBAsian) walks up beside me to close out her tab. I knew I had to at least say hi, so I did.

"Hi!", she replies.

"I like your iPhone case."

"Yeah, me too!" She peels the case partially back. "Look, I can even keep my credit cards in it!"

"I love it. I love your name, too. What's your name?"

She laughs and tells me her name. We talk a bit more and then she tells me that she and her friends are moving to another bar.

I say,"Well I'm going to stay here and hang with my friends, but give me your number so I can catch up with you guys later."

She did. I waited a few minutes, then texted her.

"OMG this really cute girl just gave me her number at [bar name], what should I do?"

"Haha what? I'm still here behind you"

I turn around and she and her 3 friends are at a table, they hadn't left after all. Whatever, I walked up and pulled up a chair beside her and talked with her friends. I also took this opportunity to try the leg trick that I read about on the sidebar. She didn't pull away at all. Boom.

We ended up at my buddies place playing beer pong. I ask HBAsian if she's good at beer pong.

"I mean, I'm okay", she replies.

"Oh, so you aren't good enough to be my partner?"

"No no, I'm good! I'm better when I'm drunk!"

She actually was really good, we kicked ass. Lot of opportunity here for some kino, which I took advantage of. Shortly after she ended up leaving, but whatever, I knew I'd see her again.

My buds and I went back out and danced our asses off. I noticed one of the bar girls, HB8 (HBFreckles) grinning at me. I smiled back and kept dancing. Later she walked through the dance floor to return a tray to the bar. As she was walking back, I grabbed her hand and pulled her close, and danced for a bit. She told me she liked my dance moves. But she was a bartender/hostess person, and I don't usually seriously pursue those types, so I just had some fun dancing with her and twirling her around and shit. Whatever.

Next day I meet up with HBAsian sober and talk for a while. She studies psychology and says she's good at reading people.

Without thinking, I look into her eyes and ask, "So then, what am I thinking right now?"

After a good 5 seconds of unbroken eye contact, she says,"I don't want to say. What are you thinking?"

I messed up here, because I had unintentionally set myself up for a perfect kclose and it caught me off guard so I said something beta like "I don't remember." She looked away.

Fuck that. I had to recover quickly. "Wait a minute. I think I remember", I said. I put two fingers under her chin, turned her face back towards me, and kissed her. It was awesome.

And well, now I'm on the other side of the country, so nothing more is likely to come of it. But I don't care, it was a great experience. HBAsian is actually a really awesome person. Anyway, this has gotten too long. I just wanted to share this. I've come a long way from where I started, and I'm excited to see how I can grow and improve in the Bay Area!
