Hello Karen. Thank you for all your work. In your opinion, what's the best way for a regular person to spread the message (the ideas, concepts, etc that you discuss) to others? Also, what's the best way for fans to support you?

True. It's clear that Penelope Trunk saw herself in the child Kate. Whether consciously or not, Trunk tried to redeem part of her past by saving the girl. Likely Trunk's problems in her past affected her so strongly that she felt compelled to help the girl despite evidence that nothing was working. I would guess that would be the main reason why she ignored the red flags, and persisted beyond what was sensible. The story reaffirms how much the past affects the present (i.e., a woman being promis…

There is far more creative writing on 110K TRP than in all of vaginal blogs combined. I agree. And not only creativity, but raw output. The amount of reflective writing that occurs here is actually quite impressive when you think about it. Thousands of words and hours of writing go into the posts here. The current version of The Red Pill Handbook is almost 200,000 words, and that's just a small portion of the writing here. For reference, the first Harry Potter book is ~77,000 words.

Here are some inexpensive ideas: For the body: Fitness: go to a park/the beach and practice bodyweight fitness. It's not the same as lifting, but it has other perks. And you look badass doing bodyweight exercises in a park. Running may be an obvious example but ensure you pay good cash for decent shoes to prevent injuries (at least $125, so maybe that's not great for a broke college student). For the mind: Get a library card. Set a goal to complete a book every two weeks. Alternate fiction and n…

I read a quote somewhere: "If you want people to leave you alone, tell them you're broke." True friends and a quality woman will support you through temporary financial setbacks. All others will scatter as if you have the plague. Golddiggers will leave because there's no point. Social stigma will scare off the rest. Actually, this may be a good test to float at the one month mark to see if the girl you are dating is a quality woman. OP dodged a bullet.

Another one not mentioned by OP Brianne Altice (35). Married and mother of one. Sexually assaulted 3 boys. Began with kissing between classes and escalated to intercourse in at least 7 occasions, once in a public park. After being charged and let out on bail, she had sex with the two other minors, and sent nude photos. Has pleaded not guilty to all charges. Claims original statements given to police inadmissible since apparently 8-10 male officers cornered and intimidated her at her home while q…

Good question! Let's see: Danielle Watkins (32). Seduced an 18-year-old, and threatened to fail him when he broke up with her. Pled guilty, and was about to receive a lighter sentence. However, she bumped into the victim just before the sentencing date and threatened him. Caught on video. Result? 5 years in jail, 15 years probation, must spend 10 years on the sex offenders registry. Nicole Dufault (35). Single mother of two sons 3 and 5. Accused of aggravated sexual assault of 5 male students. W…

It's interesting to see the result of the Ronk case. The judge, who was female, threw the book at her. She got 6-15 years in prison, eligible for parole in 5.5 years. To quote the female judge: Grant noted she was disturbed by "a double standard in this society." "If this was a male teacher who had been involved with a 15-year-old female, there would be people here hanging from the ceiling trying to get every drop of blood," Grant said. "But because it is a woman, there seems to be a winking abo…

I agree. I think I have a short fuse today, but the situation irritated me (on OP's behalf). OP's girl is implying he should shape up and behave as she expects. It's even more galling since the suggestions are not for OP's betterment, or to improve their relationship, but for her benefit. She doesn't even have the courage to come out and state her expectations openly. I'd be mortified to suggest something like this so passive-aggressively to anyone I respect. The whole thing has an air of compla…

To be suggested that you could "learn something" from that article is not only rude, ill-mannered, and deeply entitled, but it is also beyond arrogant. That compounds with the contents of the article itself, especially since the suggestion to learn something was delivered meekly, but the words in the article are shouting arrogance and entitlement. It speaks to a deeply-embedded mindset. Which is I guess another way of saying it's a shit test. That said, good job with the analysis and handling th…

From what I've heard it is more legally tricky in Canada now. Is that right? How does one get around this? Do you call and book the girl stating it will just be for "companionship" with the unsaid understanding that there will be more during the appointment? Do you get around it just by not mentioning sex at all and letting her escalate things during the appointment? Seems like it could be a bit tricky given the new law up there. Thoughts?

but no women deserves to earn hundreds of dollars an hour just because she has a vagina, and you're allowing that I think the difference is that appeal is not the sex or her vagina, per se. The increased rate reflects your savings of time and money for a superior "product" and experience with no strings attached. It's basically the price paid to reserve commitment for oneself. Valuing your commitment and not giving it to the women you are sleeping with means that you hold the power, not the wome…

No kidding. Totally agree. How much does it cost? To pay for a $30,000 wedding, you'll need to work: $15/hr = 2000 hours, or 250 8-hour working days (8.3 months of labour) $20/hr = 1500 hours, or 187 8-hour working days (6.23 months of labour) $30/hr = 1000 hours, or 125 8-hour working days (4.17 months of labour) $40/hr = 750 hours, or 93.75 8-hour working days (3.125 months of labour) $60/hr = 500 hours, or 62.5 8-hour working days (2.08 months of labour) Even making a respectable $60/hr (whic…

Yes, I'd agree with this, with a slight modification. My read: I think she suspects she's a plate. Walk-in-the-door sex and then dismissal kind of implies that. She feels shitty about that. She knows OP sees her as lesser value than himself. Her hamster can't accept that, so she puts OP down to elevate her self-perception to reinforce she is valued, worth more in the SMP, and is still the special princess society tells her she is. Notice that what she lists as desirable is nothing the OP can pro…

Good points, and I too am thinking about the numbers. Is 1 in 10 women I've met high quality? In my experience, no. Is 1 in 20? That hasn't been my luck either. I would guess they are far more rare, but perhaps everyone's milage may vary. That's a small quibble. Overall a thought-provoking post.

I posted that answer. Let me elaborate. You're assuming that the reason she's not having sex is because it is something she can control. If she's deliberately avoiding sex, sure, next her. Consider a wider scope. For these FAQs it's good to cover as many bases as possible. That's why I added "if she's a quality woman and some other issue is at play" - because life happens. There may be reasons beyond her control that she can't have sex: Sickness. Temporary high-stress situation (exams, stressful…

This is a tricky one since you have already set up an expectation that you are paying for her and providing for her. So, you can expect that she will put up resistance, and it may lower her opinion of you. After all, you are changing the terms "mid way" so to speak. Prepare for the worst: she may label you as "cheap" even though you are asking for egalitarianism and fairness. (Ideally, aim to address this earlier in the future.) As for dealing with it, I would suggest working back into it slowly…

If you bring up any of these verbatim you will indeed be taking a stand, but you may come off bitter or weak. It's better to do this through your actions. Take pride in your own life, add value to it, and avoid deferring to her or putting her on a pedestal. Overall, stop giving her your time. Instead, use that time to add value to yourself. From this point forward, you are now "busy" when she requests your time (within reason). This creates scarcity, increases confidence, and builds personal val…

My take on these: How many chances should I give this girl? She keeps flaking! I don't tolerate flaking at all. It indicates she doesn't respect my time. There are more options out there in the world. I may allow one flake if the circumstances are reasonable. My GF / Plate told me I need to wait X amount of time before sex, what gives? She either isn't attracted to you and wants to string you along, or doesn't want to seem like a slut. Everyone has their own limits, but three dates is the standa…

I agree but for a different reason than I think you're implying. Why did she leave her man? And on Valentine's day, no less. Sure you made dinner plans and he's not up for it. But stick with your man. Instead, her need to join the cultural ritual was so strong that she "abandons" him. Any quality woman would say Fuck it, we can go out later, let's be together instead. If I was to guess I would say she was disappointed that he bailed, and indignantly decided to go out anyway. Feeling humiliated a…

I read once that New York Times columnist Thomas Friedman said that the war on terror was misguided. He said that the $100,000 bounty on Bin Laden actually legitimized him. Instead, he said, make the bounty $1. That, he suggested, would be the best way of showing that terrorism doesn't work. It's the same with the TRP detractors. As you suggest, they have a creeping feeling that what is posted here is true. I would go one step further - the reaction is because they feel threatened. Women feel th…

It’s an eye-opening experience to realize that rather than being the smartest person in the room, I was likely the most duped idiot there. I really do wonder how it is that I was lead so far astray, I really don’t know. This is what the moderates are looking for- they want us to tone it down. Why can’t we preach good dating advice and drop the anger and hatred? I think the key lies in these three statements. Before TRP, I actually considered that I might be going crazy. How what a women said was dramatically different than how she acted. The way society tries to keep men in a cage of beta provisioning and working wage slave. How society's description of an ideal man didn't seem to gain traction in the real world. I had started drawing a few conclusions on my own, but was bewildered that no one else seemed to notice that it didn't add up. Then I discovered TRP, and everything instantly snapped into f…

There are a few ways. We all need to buy some things to get through life. There's nothing wrong with this. However, a subset of people go a bit further: they invest their ego into the things they buy. They base their personality, validation, and even reason for being around acquiring a car, a house, getting the latest gadget, etc. They feel they've succeeded when they purchase these things. So, some people identify directly with the things they buy. It's not surprising, we're all bombarded with …

That's a fantastic book. Minimalism can be a great answer: Reduce one's possessions. With fewer things, the need for a large storage space for things (i.e., a large home) vanishes. Rent or mortgage is less since the need to "store" things is reduced, and you can live in a smaller space. Expenses are reduced because you're not buying things, and are paying less rent. Fewer expenses means less money is required to survive. Less money required means the need to work diminishes. Less work means you …

The RP Handbook has dozens of articles, around 115,000 words (so far). It includes articles not on the sidebar. All the content in the RP Handbook is by users on this sub, with other resources, etc. If you want a dive deep into the RP, the handbook is the way to go. The RP Sidebar is strictly only the stuff in sidebar. So, it's much smaller. Also, there's a lot of essential sidebar material created by writers not on the sub. OK, great. If you'd like to PM me some links or list them here, I'll start assembling them into a book. If you're interested in learning about the e-book aspect, check out an app called Scrivener. It's not free, unfortunately, (but there is a free trial). That's used for assembling the content, then exporting it in various e-book versions.

I compiled the top RP posts into the free "Red Pill Handbook" e-book partially for this reason. If you want to do the same for this sub, let me know. I'm not too familiar with the content here, so I'd need to work with someone to pick the best posts. Creating an e-book thereafter is fairly easy. Or, I could explain how to create an e-book to anyone interested in doing it themselves.

Rape is a real threat to women anywhere in the world. A woman could be raped at home, or in Paris, or in Milan. Is it more likely to happen in Europe? If so, why? You would use the same common sense to evaluate the stranger with the train tickets at home that you would abroad. Men don't suddenly become more predatory in other countries. My point is that the common sense a woman uses at home to avoid rape can be used in the same way abroad. Traveling itself doesn't increase the risk significantly…

As others have said here, time is valuable. Spending hours in bars finding plates, or maintaining them (driving them around, taking them out) all adds up. Let's not forget the BS that comes along with even the best of plates: shit tests and drama are common. In the event that a plate is lacking in the personality department, you'll need to sit through inane conversations to get to the "close," too. Wading through those could be seen as a "sunken cost" as well.

I hear where you're coming from, but I'll have to take issue with the insinuation. Consider this: the lone man is often viewed with suspicion, is challenged, or at best is ignored. The lone woman will be catered to, accommodated for, and taken care of. Lost? Can't speak the language? Need cash for a train ticket? When a woman needs anything or is in trouble, society will trip over themselves to help her. The message to a man? Nut up. This is true at home and abroad. So you could say that women a…

It's interesting that the majority of your first paragraph lists stuff women need us to do for them: fix things, pick her up, provide cash. It still stuns me how little they do to fix their own problems themselves - they need someone else to solve their problems. I really don't want to think of them as helpless or less intelligent but when you see this behaviour become a pattern across many relationships, you can't help but wonder. It's tough to explain to people why a given guy wants to be single, not marry, etc. I can only speak for myself, but to respond to her points: lack of love, affection, and support I'm strong enough that I don't need emotional support for my problems. I don't feel like I'm "lacking" love, as if I'm incomplete without it. I feel good about myself without it. I would normally agree with you. However, I have seen times when women do the opposite. They have been 110% interested in me, and I hook up with them, but keep talking about men, guys who want them, and past relationships. Here's my take on it. A woman values a man with many options. So, to her, her value system equates these options as higher SMV. Of course, that demonstrates higher value for men, not for women. However, since a woman is solipsistic, she thinks it creates value in herself, too.…

Very interesting. I don't have an opinion either way, but something doesn't add up. I'm not disagreeing that women aim for the best possible alpha mate. Some may indeed pursue AF/BB. But this: the ancestors of every girl on this planet are the women who successfully implemented AF/BB. and this The woman who didn't cuckold her husband was likely to get a loser son who got few to zero children, which also means that her traits lose the race. and also this Evolutionarily speaking, women who for wha…

Not to be pedantic or anything... While I appreciate where you're going with this, I believe this characterizes introverts and extroverts incorrectly, and could be misleading. Unless I've misunderstood your aim, the story seems to suggest that extroverts are strong and alpha and "run the world", and introverts are, as you put it "socially weak." "But i am introverted! Yes for sure it's definitely possible for an intelligent woman to be self absorbed too. In many cases I've found their intelligence gives them more insight in general than less intelligent women. Good summary and good insight. Of course we wouldn't partake in those behaviors, because the vast majority of men aren't given license to capitalize on them. Wouldn't you abuse that sort of one-sided perception if you could? I actually wouldn't. I believe on making my way in the world by merit, not by the largess of others. However, for the sake of the discussion on the impact on marriage, let's just look at that. Wikipedia says they married some time in 2010. For the hell of it, let's say Jan 1, 2010. He then Tweeted that they broke up January 18, 2012. Jan 1, 2010 - Jan 18, 2013 = 747 days at $4.2 million for the firs…

I agree with you. Women certainly will be dedicated enough to a man they are invested in. However, unfortunately, it's not just up to how she feels or thinks. Many women (and men, for that matter) are subject peer pressure. They may be completely dedicated to their man, but when wider society begins to put pressure on a woman, they will change their tune. In my experience, it is extremely hard for a woman to stand behind her own convictions, when she is being bombarded by the contrasting opinion…

I don't think anyone is denying that sex is great, and pursuing women is fun. It's more about how an enlightened man approaches that. TRP is about waking up and seeing the world how it really is. Some of this involves learning about the nature of women. But that's not the sum total of what TRP is, at least today. Some of the discussion here involves the expectations on men and attitudes towards masculinity in a general sense. Generally speaking: One one side you have men that see TRP as tactics …

Devil's advocate here: your post only seems to recognize one person's actions in the scenario: your own. That's neglecting two players: the wife, and the man. Unless I misunderstand, it's also neglecting the concept of consequences. Work with me here: What if just as you were picking up the cash, the actual owner was coming down the street to find the cash he lost? You thought no one was looking for it, but you were wrong. The owner saw you pick up his money. Maybe he's angry. Maybe he thinks yo…

I agree. I think you bring up a few great points: current society's requirements, and consequences. I can buy the statement from the original sidebar "Sexual Strategy is Amoral" which if I interpret it correctly is: philosophically speaking there is no clear cut definition of morality, or right and wrong. However, whether or not it's true is not the point. It is not compatible with today's society. Whether we like it or not, each society has agreed that every citizen must abide by certain rules.…

I got into body weight fitness after reading "Convict Conditioning" by Paul Wade. The text is kind of gimmicky, but if you strip that away it has a good progression for moving through the 6 body weight exercises. You don't get the same type of satisfaction as from lifting weights. Also, I suspect you wouldn't get as big with body weight (no proof here, just guessing). However, body weight is still a great workout. It mixes in a good amount of flexibility. And, when you reach the higher tier work…

That's a typo, it's mine. Fixed! The change will appear in the next version. Hopefully you're not charging us to read our own shit. Clarification: I meant the Kindle and iBooks formats (mobi and epub), so they would be compatible with those apps. I wasn't referring to posting the material in those stores, which I will not do. I edited in a clarification into the main post. I have absolutely no interest in receiving either cash or recognition for doing this. I've learned a lot from the sub, and i…

I hear you. Poor editing is distracting. A technical writer's perspective would be incredibly helpful. I have put a few more hours into fixing mistakes since the first draft, and plan to do another pass. It's not in native Word format, but I'll see if I can export it and send it your way.

I think this is a good idea. Something like a condensed version in simplified language to easily guide new people into the concepts. Was there anything in particular that you felt made it hard to break into understanding TRP? For example, certain concepts that you felt weren't written about here yet? Or perhaps just not stated simply enough yet? Or was it just that there was so much info that the learning curve was steep? Let me know. I'll see if I can put something together for the next version…

You mean technically building the book? I referenced my own bookmarks, and popular community posts and comments. Copied and pasted all text and links. If there was a gilded comment in a thread, I grabbed that too, and listed it beneath the article as a "Featured Comment." Referenced the sidebar. I just dumped all the text without formatting, so I then cleaned that up so it was more or less consistent with other articles, yet stayed true to the author's intent. Tweaked some spelling (those exampl…

How would you respond to a woman that responds with disdain, or calls you on the tactic?: "get your mind out of the gutter" "you don't have a chance anyway" "don't be disgusting" "don't get ahead of yourself" "you think pretty highly of yourself" In other words shutting down the conversation completely and calling you on the play. Which of your solutions would cover these scenarios or a strong bitch shield?

Well summarized. Why would a man in 2014 want to work a 40++ hour week? It's an interesting thought. You mention a few good points that revolve around the fact that the cash you earn for a 40+ week doesn't really have a great rate of return. There's another aspect, too: time is a limited resource. For some, it's just not worth spending 40 hours of your precious, fleeting life for what you get back. There's always more cash, but you can never get that time back. Not to be doom and gloom, but your…

I think that's a great idea. I've published a few books. I've wondered if it would make sense to gather the best posts into a small TRP digital handbook, and make it free for the community as a resource. Possibly assemble the posts together in a way to make it easy to read. Then, as more posts are published that the community thinks has value, update the book. Also include links to each writer's blogs, other community resources, a reading list (etc.). Then, have the book on a torrent, or hosted …

If she's lying there like a sponge it's because she doesn't want to fuck you. Any girl actually attracted to you will literally get on a plane to fuck you until you can neither move any more. Not necessarily true. That statement assumes that every woman has the skills to fuck enthusiastically. Many women have had a lifetime of having their needs catered to. Look at all the treads on Reddit from women about "how do I show interest in a guy I like?" They literally don't know how to do it. They can…

It's true a plane ticket would cost that much. But have you looked at the other costs? You're considering only short term costs. You can live in Thailand for $300 a month. That's $3600 a year, and certainly less than $10k for all your needs for an entire year. Contrast to what's needed to live anywhere in the west. Sure, life is lived differently in both places. But if you are looking at cash alone you'll still come out ahead by doing what this guy did in Thailand (for a long period of time).

I found your categorization of prostitutes inaccurate. You claim they don't do many of the things you describe. That may be true for some of them. However, there's a spectrum of sex workers. Your description may be accurate for "street walkers." Escorts are vastly different from what you describe. 1-5 and 7 are incorrect for that category of workers. Many do those things, depending on the girl. Your points 6 and 8 describe which is more economical. I think it's natural to think this way, but the…

I agree. I think the original sentiments are coming from a good place. However, the way the OP suggests expressing them (in particular #3) comes across as insecure. There are dozens of ways to express any sentiment. However, even if "fuck you" or "then leave" is expressed in a self-possessed way, it just screams "try hard." If I was to hear #3 said to me I couldn't help but break out laughing because it's so out of place, desperate, and preposterous (whether it is yelled at me or merely spoken c…

I don't know, maybe I'm jaded, but I would view this with suspicion. My first impression was that she was telling you this to gauge your reaction to the situation. Some wild guesses: She said it to see if you would reject her for a certain kind of behaviour. She could be using it as a way test the strength of your relationship and how committed you are. It could be that she had done this just recently and not to her ex at all, but to you, and is gauging how you would react. Are you exclusive? If…

Food is 80% the key to losing weight and getting ripped. Great point. It's important to note that eating right makes fitness so much easier. If you're drinking too much beer and eating junk (especially 30+) you're fighting against yourself. Before I knew this, I worked out and ran like mad regularly and was puzzled at the lack of progress. I felt better, and showed some definition, but it wasn't profound. And I was having only a bit of junk and a few drinks a week. Only when I became disciplined…

The thirties are an excellent time for all the reasons everyone else here has mentioned. Some points I’ve observed: Keep in shape, and keep active. Everyone’s body is slowing down, so this is natural. However, many of my friends didn’t bother to get into a fitness habit. Because of this, even just a bit of weight lifting, etc. will distinguish you greatly from others in the same age bracket. This increases dramatically as you get older. Only a little bit of exercise will put you ahead of the pac…

Interesting article, and I think the blogger is on point. Two things come to mind: There's the saying that if you smell shit everywhere you go, look at your shoe. The implication is that you are responsible for the quality of your own world and the relationships in them. If it sucks, look at yourself. That is indeed true. However, I believe it's important to point out that this can happen by action and also inaction. For example, you can choose to approach low quality women because you're settin…

A good breakdown of PUA and MGTOW. Your post mentions two types of MGTOWs: those that have been burned by women and have sworn off them, and those who don't find building up their SMV is worth the time to get with women. I think these are both accurate. I would add a third that modifies your second point just a bit: Men who don't have any problems with their SMV but still won't bother with women anyway. Their time is just too precious to waste on the games, shit tests, cognitive dissonance, and …

It's an interesting idea. Like you say, even if you don't act on it, it's worth thinking about if only for the reason of perceiving women and dating differently: I suspect that seeing an escort would pretty much destroy the concept of oneitis. Many guys frame their entire lives around getting women. By satisfying one of our main pursuits (chasing women), it forces men to create other goals completely unrelated to how those goals affect picking up women. Someone else brought up a good point elsew…

Interesting. I saw the post from a different slant. I didn't necessarily get the "she feels like a failure" vibe, but I suppose it's possible. Instead, to me she seemed just bewildered and craving attention. To me, it seemed like a theme was that she felt that she considered herself attractive because of her successes: CEO, entrepreneur. The main thrust of her post was wondering why that didn't convey attraction from the men around her. It's understandable. Consider if the genders and roles were…

I hear you, but I actually think it's reasonable if you look at in black and white economics. You're obviously well practiced. I would say that the majority of guys wouldn't have sex on the first date without investing something. And I mean typical date - not a Tinder hook up (kudos if that's anyone's thing). In a typical dating scenario a first date - let's say the old dinner and a movie cliche - will easily cost you over $50. Probably closer to $75 if you work in the dinner. You add in the gas…

So true. I have a friend who lives in LA. He made millions overnight on some wise stock trades. Comes from a dirt-poor family. I knew him before and after he made his cash. His behaviour and personality didn't change much. However, at first he flaunted his cash. No surprise: many women around. He got sick of the gold diggers, and worried about losing his cash to these women in some way. So, he moved into a smaller house. Bought a common car (comparatively to LA). Great guy but he dresses like a …

Well, consider: if you're paying for the first or any date, she is fucking you because you gave her money. Try this thought experiment: tell girls you date that they have to pay for the first 1-3 dates. How often will that lead them to sleep with you? Another thought experiment: how many of our dates know our likes and dislikes? Do they know what hobbies we like and more importantly: why? My point is that most girls don't even know who we are. We fit an ideal in their lives. A concept. A conduit…
