Ronald Reagan signed the biggest amnesty to illegal immigrants. This was supposed to be a compromise with the Dems, amnesty for secure borders going forward. The latter didn't happen...... The capital wants immigrants because they need more workers. The "labor shortage" is a myth, in markets demand can almost always be fulfilled by adjusting wages, and the labor market still generally favors employers. As for seasonal workers, especially agricultural workers, there are easy-to-obtain visas for t…

it was easy to get them to blame feminism and leftists for their struggles Of course it is, because leftists and feminists regularly spew vitriol towards men and champion policies in education/employment that disadvantage men at the expense of women.

People can be lazy about actually doing it, but it really is a full time job. No, I don't think agree. Most of the time you aren't actively tending to them, you just need to be around to watch them while they do their own thing. And statistically most kids in the US do attend preschool, starting at the age of 3 or 4, so they will be away for much of the day for the vast majority of their childhood.

Part of being an adult is the freedom to decide your standards of cleanliness for your own home. Few men do no cleaning at all, dishes have to be done eventually, garbage will fill up, etc.

This is wrong. Her work is just as valuable as his. It really isn't. Money is what provides the essentials of life, a roof over your head, food in the fridge, etc. And children themselves can more easily handle handle housework and childcare than financially supporting a family. A single parent working full time can use childcare services, prepared foods, meal-prep, cleaning services, etc. Kids can learn to cook and clean, and older children can watch their siblings. /r/PurplePillDebate22/01/24 04:37 AM

Because generally it's not the number on the scale that people notice, talk about, and are impacted by. It's the change in appearance, primarily due to fat and other things to a lesser extent like fluid.

1

I explicitly said otherwise, why are you asking me this?
/r/PurplePillDebate22/01/24 02:17 AM
1

My point is none of those things are fat, most of the weight gain is not attributable to fat, so if her husband is losing attraction because she's too fat then pregnancy-related weight gain is a poor excuse.
/r/PurplePillDebate22/01/24 02:09 AM

Most women don't want to have sex with these kinds of men. People do things they don't want to do all the time, for a number of reasons. Sexual attraction is a spectrum It's a form of deception when a man promises commitment but then ghosts. "Guys in every community know of AT LEAST 1 or 2 guys that are NO GOOD (talking about will use and discard the girl, caring nothing for her)" This is what you were responding to. He mentioned nothing about promising commitment.
/r/PurplePillDebate22/01/24 02:08 AM
14

Women can get SEX more easily, not relationships. They can get both more easily, relationships to a lesser extent. Chances are some portion of the men willing to fuck you would also be willing to have a relationship. Most men do not have many options, and even the most desirable men usually settle down eventually.
/r/PurplePillDebate21/01/24 10:47 PM
9

To them, a man whom they are not attracted to is not "better than nothing". The vast majority of women are not single and celibate. Even men they find less attractive can be useful to them, if they want a simp to pay the bills and buy her things, or a husband to support a family. is that men have evolved an ability to deceive women into sex. Are they really being deceived? Or do they just feel entitled to commitment, and end up bitter when their baseless expectations are not met?

Overeating is not and has nothing to do with being pregnant. When most women believe that they're "eating for two", or just use it as an excuse to pig out. but because they're unable to be as physically active. Obesity is primarily caused by diet, not activity or lack thereof.

This attitude is exactly why marriage is a bad idea for men. Once women have you locked down they will take advantage of any excuse to let themselves go.

I love how women are supposed to look for marriage and be pure when they’re in their late teens or earlier 20s but men are expected to fuck around when they’re young. Who's saying this? Most tradcons are also telling men to marry younger and stop fucking around.

"Pregnancy weight" is not biological, it's primarily due to women using the "I'm eating for two" excuse to overeat during pregnancy. The truth is very different from that. "Your doctor may recommend eating an extra 200 to 400 calories a day in the second trimester and about 500 calories a day in the third trimester. You may need less if you’re overweight or more if you are underweight. More will be recommended if you’re expecting twins or triplets. It may sound like a lot, but 350 calories isn’t…

This isn’t just for women this is for men also so they can have unprotected sex and then not have to pay child support. Men have no say in your pregnancy. Outside of marriage people generally make contraceptive decisions for themselves independently, without the input of their partners. If a man specifically requested his GF who wasn't already on the pill to get on it, because he wanted to have unprotected sex, without being willing to chip in, then yeah I would also consider that parasitic. Men have an undeniable preference for women who wear make up. Curling my hair is cheap, make up is not ($100 a month), and the prices are raising. Even men who say they don’t like make up they unknowingly praise us for wearing it contributing to our usage of it. This is a bad analogy, you're not providing with them with a good or service like men who pay for your meals. You're improving your appearance attract more and higher quality partners, it's more comparable to men hitting the gym. Most me…

/r/PurplePillDebate17/01/24 07:29 PM

Not if it was your wife Then it's not relevant to dating/sexual strategy, is it? or you married the victim, or if you paid her dad Not in the US, maybe in some shithole country. or if you were rich/powerful, or if no one believed the victim, or if there were no witnesses By that logic there is no such thing as a crime and we are living in a lawless society, because people get away with all sorts of crimes.

and the women are expected to doll up. If a guy said that he expected women to do full makeup/hair on a first date to look good for him he would probably get called misogynistic as well lol. At an individual level it's a mere value judgement, you thinking they're "below average" isn't a fact, it's your personal preference. I was talking about the broader data, those dudes weren't the only guys rated. If they rate most men as below average that shows they overestimate how attractive the "average" man is.

In the past most men married young as well. And the "problem" is not their different priorities per se but the fact that the "settle down" guy is chosen for transactional/financial reasons and often isn't treated as well(sexually and otherwise) as her exes. that the woman accepting the sperm agrees to assume the responsibility for the child's financial well-being. This contradicts what you said about child support being the right of the child, and, I quote, "from both parents". It's different because men and women have vastly differing roles in reproduction The comparison was between a single woman having a child with donor sperm and a woman getting pregnant from a man who is unwilling to be a father. The comparison is not between the sexes.

Those are just two sources you cherry picked lol, most of them are about men's sexual success and how it correlates based on behavior/personality. And as I already said women self-reporting liking benevolent traits doesn't at all contradict what I said since in my original comment which is that they consciously like betabux partners because they make their lives easier.
/r/PurplePillDebate11/01/24 04:43 AM

The guys I'e known who really "played the field" were usually like 6-8/10. I know plenty of conventionally attractive guys who settled down early by contrast. I don't care about your anecdotal experiences, and nor should anyone else. Men by and large value sexual variety.
/r/PurplePillDebate11/01/24 04:41 AM

Men who are less sexist are more likely to have long term partners, so they rack up less "numbers". Men overwhelmingly value sexual variety from all the sociological and psychological research I've seen so if a guy isn't playing the field, at least when they're young, it's probably not voluntary. Point is, being a misogynist doesn't inherently make you get laid more. I never said it did. Obviously nice chad is getting a lot more pussy than the average ink well. You'd be very hard pressed to find an escort charging less than 100/hour in the US, and usually it's substantially more. Other forms of sex work like stripping or OF might pay less but are also less taxing. Like OF is literally just snapping some nudes and uploading it, you don't even have to include your face and many successful creators don't.
/r/PurplePillDebate11/01/24 03:59 AM

My theory is that women consciously like "betabux" guys but are subconsciously less attracted to them, all else being equal. I mean, who doesn't like having an easier life and constant validation? That's not mutually exclusive with subconsciously lower attraction to them, you can "like" someone for primarily transactional/material reasons. If the child exists, the responsibility does as well. If the mother chooses to have and keep the child knowing full well that the father wants nothing to do with it, then I don't see it as being any different from having a child alone through a sperm donor.

It's reasonable to assume simply by accepting the donor sperm, the woman is releasing the donor from financial responsibility. Why not? "I disagree. Child support is the right of every child, from both parents. It is not something between you and the child's mother." How would a man be given an abortion, then Exactly how OP described in this post.
/r/PurplePillDebate11/01/24 01:34 AM

I've read that splitting the bill is the overwhelming norm in western/central Europe and IMO that's a good litmus test for whether a progressive woman is a more genuine egalitarian or whether they're parasites that only support equality when it benefits them, like most women here. Of course, maybe I'm wrong, I don't know, what's your experience?
/r/PurplePillDebate10/01/24 06:52 PM

Why would a younger better looking woman have lower financial standards? Because they're not interested in starting a family yet so money matters less. Sound more like exploitation if your just using your money to buy a partner. It's the opposite, they don't have the money that older women demand so they go for women that demand less.
/r/PurplePillDebate10/01/24 06:17 PM
1

Why do women portray it as a bad thing for men to pursue younger women or women from other countries because they are less demanding? Men aren't evil just because they don't meet older women's insane financial standards. How is this any different from a fat chick looking for partners that will accept her body?

I've expressed it several times over, unless you are in your 30s and seeking to be in a relationship with a literal teenager or an adult who can't legally drink, I don't give a rat's ass. The drinking age is 16-18 in most western countries, it's weird that you think America's puritanical drinking age is somehow relevant. I'm sorry, but nothing compares to the abs, stamina, and rock hard dick of a man chad in his mid 20s FTFY

Everyone should have at least minimal access to both biological parents Right to contact information and right to child support are two entirely different things. I'm talking about the latter not the former. Gestation. Everyone knows that's not the primary reason for abortion, even pro-choice advocates on the left. The primary reason is to avoid having to raise kids you don't want.
/r/PurplePillDebate10/01/24 03:27 PM

So do men? Woman are regularly dumped with kids they didn’t want cause a guy changed his mind How common is this? Men are less interested in children than women are to begin with.

Paying a small percentage of your salary It's not a "small percentage" and you mentioned "can’t afford them" instead of giving up your independence and freedom to do 24/7 care Children don't need care 24/7 and grandparents often take a substantial share of childcare for single mothers.

because it’s unfair to dump a human being on someone that potentially can’t care for them, can’t afford them, and is likely going to fuck them up. Only when that "someone" is a woman apparently. Clearly you have no problem with men being forced to pay child support for children they never wanted. Everyone that doesn’t want kids should take measures to avoid them, but why should only woman have to deal with the fallout of both their mistakes? Who's saying that? Most of the pro financial abortion …
/r/PurplePillDebate09/01/24 11:19 AM

Child support is the right of every child, from both parents. The fact that sperm donations and surrogacies exist undermines this claim. Men have an option: Don't leave your sperm where it may conceive. Abstinence/contraception wasn't good enough for all the women bitching about Roe being overturned. Why should it be for men?
/r/PurplePillDebate09/01/24 11:17 AM

He consented when he had sex. Ok, then so do women, and banning abortion isn't forcing them to do anything they hadn't already consented to. He also should have had at least one conversation with his potential sex partner about what they would do should pregnancy happen This is not a guarantee of anything. Women can and frequently do change their minds.
/r/PurplePillDebate09/01/24 11:15 AM

there isn’t a million families that will take it in. In the US at least there is, figuratively. There has always been a shortage of infants to adopt, families have to wait years for the opportunity. And of course there is abortion which remains legal for most Americans.

If you ask me on a date and then ask me to split the check This is such a cop out talking point when everyone knows full well that men are generally expected to initiate. And when your coworkers ask you to go out to lunch or dinner with them, do you expect them to pay for you? Ridiculous. Expecting the other party to pay is only reasonable if the invitation is phrased in a way that indicates as much, such as "let me treat you to __" or "let me take you out to ___".

Some women argue that even with lower birthrates and modern medicine greatly reducing women's greater reproductive costs, the costs remain greater. Demanding to be compensated for childrearing by someone you literally just met, and will in all likelihood not have kids with, is absurd. And who's paying the bills when they take time off work to care for the baby? Usually her husband.

Ah, so TRP is some degree of stoic dominance? Detachment and dominance are not synonyms. The only "dominant" behaviors that TRP advocates for are superficial aspects of dominance such as in the bedroom or planning dates. I don't buy into height being an issue at all Then you're delusional. There's plenty of research that proves women value height a lot in a partner. For instance, this study, analyzing data from speed dating events involving over 5000 total participants found that women's mean stated minimum preferred partner height ranged from 5'7" to 5'10" depending on their own height.

I would never "take care" of a woman that wasn't my mother. you’d probably be happier cohabiting with a man. Unironically yes, probably. you resent women for being SAHM, If they're putting 110% into being an amazing mother and do most/all of the housework then no. I still think it's a more desirable role than the breadwinner most of the time but it's not egregiously imbalanced if she's serious about it. "We're liberated so we don't need to be with men, we choose to be with men that make our lives better" or whatever. If you approach him and pursue him he's going to be all like " Well i didn't even approach you and you wanted me first." It's gonna set the tone to the entire relationship. The more you like the man the less he likes you. Many men would say the inverse is true as well. "Treat her like a your queen and she'll treat you like a servant" All my friends that have approached men have gotten shot down because that's not the way its supposed to be. Or maybe they were just ugly and/or weird.

Being a sahm shouldn't be a 24/7 job It isn't. Doing housework doesn't take that much time and kids are at school for most of the day 9 months a year. The only way it might be is if she's homeschooling the kids, or if they're too young for school. And then then young children don't need to be tended 24/7, you can do other tasks while you're watching them or they're sleeping.

There's nothing for me to say other than your situation is highly atypical.
/r/PurplePillDebate19/12/23 04:21 AM

It does make sense when you view your couple as a team and value each other’s well-being above “what do I get” mentality. The latter is literally how most western women view relationships now. "What does he bring to the table", "what does he do for me", etc. Don't blame us for playing the same game as our female counterparts.

There is also a clinical definition of "pedophilia" and it's much more limited than how that word is used in everyday parlance. There is a botanical definition of "vegetable" and it's not the same as the everyday definition. And can you even provide a "clinical definition of maturity"?

The difference is that he gets paid. For married couples the money he earns is shared. I am cleaning all day, running errands, and taking care of his children. We both work all day. Women saying that chores should be split evenly just because both partners work 9-5 is the dumbest cop out. Spending time at work in of itself doesn't do anything for the family, the money that you get for doing that does, and men usually earn a lot more per hour. Women saying this proves they don't actually care about contributing equally, and don't appreciate their male partner's breadwinning. If say, your husband or boyfriend took 1 hour to clean the house, when you would only take 30 minutes…

What's an opinion? That enjoying humor that makes people uncomfortable is considered "immature/childish"? I'm literally just going by the definition of "immature". Whose definition of "immature"? Like how some men are sensitive to getting called "immature" and "childish" lol. Stop trying to deflect from the point. You seem to think women "crying" is worse than men... being hostile and violent? Because it's less "neurotic"? You clearly have atrocious literacy skills. Think I'll call it here.

It's rarely considered healthy to frequently cry Most women I've talked to seem to think so. I'd bet money that you think so. and a woman who is a bit moody ever will generally get called a bitch Only if that is expressed as hostility/aggression towards others. A woman who earns no income is called lazy, especially if she doesn't have a partner she's caring for as a full time job. I can't say I've seen many people call SAHMs lazy.

If you think it's funny to make jokes that make people uncomfortable, that would be an example of an "immature" sense of humor. There is no law against being immature - you're allowed to be immature. But that's just what it's called when you don't mine making people upset because you personally find it funny. That's your normative opinion, not a fact. I think some people are overly sensitive You... seem to think women all uniformly express emotions in the same way? Did I say that? Don't put word…
/r/PurplePillDebate18/12/23 08:37 AM

You’re not TRYING to hurt the other person, but you’re not mature enough to understand why you shouldn’t make people uncomfortable even if you aren’t hurting them. Just because you're uncomfortable doesn't mean I'm doing anything wrong. You can’t compare that to “feeling emotions”. It's not about how you feel, it's about excessive outward expression of those emotions. Men are JUST as prone to emotion as women Men are less prone to neuroticism(negative emotions) than women.
/r/PurplePillDebate18/12/23 07:15 AM

However, the presence of monetary responsibility and support, just like the presence of emotional support, and many other "beta" behaviors, grants a man in any relationship more leverage. Divorce and asset division says hello!

One can have childish hobbies air childish humor and still be a mature adult capable of taking care of themselves. Skin ageing also affects non-white people, just not as severely. That’s when you hash out a solution that works for both of you Sometimes there isn't one. Look at the Israel/Palestine conflict. They don’t want a partner - they want a subordinate. I think most people, irrespective of sex, would rather have their way than have to compromise.

Yes. Any man who would rather be at the office than raising their own kids is not a good father. But it's not as if men are clamoring to be human ATMs, it's a gender role that they are usually expected to fulfill by their partners, families, and society as a whole. Women on the other hand, regularly compare the the childrearing they do to men working for pay, as if these jobs are equally undesirable. They tell on themselves.

The kid is my responsibility once birth happens and one does not have an option when it comes to responsibility. You can arguably be "responsible" for your child by coparenting and/or paying child support without staying with the BM. My question is which would you rather do? I prefer to use the carrot. that’s why I think unless you’re very good at separating feelings from sex (which most women aren’t) just don’t have sex unless it’s explicitly clear both of you want a relationship or are already in one. Then tell that to women, don't blame men for women catching feelings.

The issue is not that he asked her to leave, it was how he asked her to leave. He could have very easily said, "I appreciate how you're feeling, but I'm not interested in anything more, so it's probably best if we end things." That's not asking her to leave, that's asking to end their fuckbuddy relationship. There isn't really a "nice" way to explicitly ask someone to leave your home.

Women sexually assault men at significant rates: https://www.reddit.com/r/MensLib/comments/x45mq1/the_cdcs_definition_of_rape_vs_a_genderneutral/ I definitely wouldn't want a scorned woman to sleep over, there are a ton of things she could do to me or my property other than rape. It wasn't clear whether you were talking about these behaviors individually or the combination of all of them. The most efficient “strictly sex” situations I’ve seen where nobody gets attached - they usually only talk occasionally to plan the next hookup and some small talk. Going on date nights and paying for romantic getaways is not typical “I only want sex” behaviour. Emotional investment in a sexual relationship exists on a spectrum. There's another post on the front page about an AITA post …
/r/PurplePillDebate14/12/23 01:54 PM

What the hell are you talking about? Regardless of your intents, not stating them doesn't mean you've led the other person on. They shouldn't have made assumptions if you haven't indicated your intentions one way or another, that's entitlement.

/r/PurplePillDebate14/12/23 01:35 PM

There are ways a guy can mislead without explicitly stating that he is interested in a relationship, sure, which is why I said "or something to that effect". My point is that women shouldn't assume intentions for a relationship just because he hasn't stated otherwise.

/r/PurplePillDebate14/12/23 11:35 AM

Thank you, that sounds reasonable, it is textbook lying. Some women take this a step further though, and claim that if he hasn't explicitly defined the relationship and stated that he's not looking for commitment, then he is "stringing her along".

This is not the same thing at all. If a woman chooses to refuse to date a man who won’t buy expensive dinners, that’s a filter on a guy on date one or two. Some dependents are owed care for various reasons, such as children (you created them). And arguably elderly parents as well (if they were good to you and raised you well, you ought to return the favor). by your own belief you are devaluing the woman you have casual sex with, by your own principles. One can argue that she is choosing to "devalue" herself by having casual sex. It takes two to tango. And liking someone is not mutually exclusive with doing things that may result in them being less desirable to men in the future.

And generally speaking, postsecondary programs dominated by women have significantly worse career prospects compared to those dominated by men. Attending postsecondary education shouldn't always be considered as a productive venture, there are many programs that have limited relevance in the job market(english, psychology, etc). Many people attend college for the partying/fun/hookups, and/or extend their postsecondary education because …

If it was, men wouldn't treat N-counts like they made a woman filthy. Otherwise they're saying "I like women so much that I want to PERMENANTLY RUIN AS MANY AS POSSIBLE". What makes you think they're seeking out casual sex with many women because they want to "ruin" women and not because they, you know, like sex? Why jump to malice?
/r/PurplePillDebate13/12/23 09:58 AM

You're shifting the goalposts from earning and household work to just household work. Partnered men significantly outearn their female counterparts, it shouldn't be surprising that women do more around the house. No, it's not "valid" to draw broad conclusions about millions or billions of men and women based on your interactions with a select few of them.
/r/PurplePillDebate13/12/23 09:36 AM

I am talking about women on Reddit, especially women on this subreddit. A tiny subset of all women, and I am familiar with most of the female users here. You are talking about men as a whole, of which there are over 100 million in the US alone. You're comparing apples and oranges. And statistics contradict your claim. Young men are more likely to be employed and they outearn young women. Older men even more so.

At the same time, as a man, you don't have to take a woman out to expensive restaurants. I agree, going for drinks seems like a better idea and paying for her is more doable. But the problem is that too many women are parasitic and feel entitled to dinner dates. But either way I wouldn't have a woman pay for me on our date. This isn't about paying for you, this is about paying for herself. I've seen many posts about adult men, who act like children. Ok, what's your point? How many men are like t…

Men here routinely say they don’t care about a woman’s career, interests, or morals as long as she’s hot. Can you provide examples of men saying this? I've only seen some guys here say that career women making a lot of money isn't a big draw, especially if it comes at the cost of other things like age, agreeableness, etc. That doesn't mean they would date or marry a bum who can't support herself. Most men here definitely don't seem keen on being a sole provider. Women's morality is probably the …

Very few women are 6ft or taller, that would be at the 99.9th percentile for female height according to CDC data, meaning that only around 1 in 1000 women are 6ft or taller. The equivalent for men would be around 5'1" for a guy, approximately the 0.1th percentile, and I'd bet money that the vast majority of men would not label that shallow or unreasonable.…

I think its often the case that in female-dominated environments, men tend to have an easier time attracting women simply due to a relative scarcity of competition. Maybe I'm biased because I've had plastic surgery done, but IMO it's not deceptive like makeup is, and I don't see an equivalence between the two. To me whether something is "natural" or "artificial" is irrelevant, the important part is whether the change in appearance is superficial or not. They may not be unrecognizable but there is a lot of research to indicate that even regular makeup makes women significantly more attractive to men. Concealer/foundation creates the impression of perfect skin, contour can make your face look leaner. Eye shadow conceals bags and lines, and for Asian women eyeliner can hide their monolids.
/r/PurplePillDebate11/12/23 12:24 AM

Beards are neither artificial or superficial, facial hair is a natural part of the male body just like scalp hair is for both sexes. It isn't comparable to makeup. Growing a beard is not any more deceptive than not shaving yourself bald to expose your skull shape.

"Makeup" isn't one thing, it's a broad category of cosmetic products. Sure, we may be able to easily identify cherry red lipstick, or dark eye shadow. But what about concealer/foundation that is used to conceal blemishes? Contour used to create the impression of a leaner face? Not necessarily. And even when makeup is noticeable it can still be used to hide things, like many Asian girls heavily rely on eyeliner to conceal their ugly monolid eyes. That's one of the most severe forms of makeupfraud…

/r/PurplePillDebate10/12/23 11:27 PM

I think one important thing men need to be aware of is how women weaponize their tears. Women's tears are very effective in triggering a sympathy response, especially in men. Women know this and will use them in arguments to make their partners feel bad, back down, and apologize, even if she was in the wrong. Stand your ground. Don't let her manipulate you, like a spoiled child throwing a tantrum. If you reward it they will keep doing it, and you will have no peace in your life.

If the big guy inflicts injuries beyond a certain point, it doesn’t matter that the small guy started it. Even in self defence there’s limitations. So long as he does not continue using force after his assailant is either incapacitated or backs off, then he would generally be in the clear. That is the primary limitation of self defense in Anglo common law countries.

It's possible that there is evidence of single women being happier, but this hack Dolan is not it, and he is the commonly cited source by these "girlboss" types. Without dismissing the non-physical harms that can be inflicted in relationships, I think discussing "emotional/psychological" abuse is usually fruitless because there are no widely accepted specific definitions and standards, and non-physical conflicts are highly subject to interpretation. The raw numbers say that men and women experience any kind of physical or psychological abuse in equal numbers, but that more women than men experience any contact sexual violence, physical violence, and/or stalking with IPV-related impact (Tables 9 and 11) with IPV-related impact meaning: I don't think it's helpful to lump all the categories together. My comment was about sexual violence, not physical violence. But yes, I think your assessment of female-perpetrated domestic violence sounds plausible.
/r/PurplePillDebate10/12/23 11:25 AM
0

I acknowledge that the majority of domestic homicides are perpetrated by men, but they are incredibly uncommon and represent a tiny sliver of all intimate partner violence. Many if not most people will experience intimate partner violence in their lifetime but very few will be murdered by one, especially in western countries. Focusing on this particular subset that is far from representative of men or women as a whole is dishonest.
/r/PurplePillDebate10/12/23 11:07 AM
7

To add, I am frankly surprised that female perpetrated sexual aggression is as common as it is, since it is incredibly easy for women to find willing sexual partners. My best guess is that this can be attributed to women being unaccustomed to sexual rejection, which breeds a sense of entitlement. Women and girls are also arguably not conditioned and taught to accept sexual rejection in the same way, to the same extent, that men and boys are.

PPD women value anecdotal evidence only when it suits their agenda. When a woman reports having negative experiences with men, her mistrust, or even outright hostility, towards men is validated and affirmed. It's used as evidence that there's something "wrong" with men and we need to "do better" in some way. When a man reports having positive experiences with women it's used as a counterargument to manosphere talking points. An individual man's experience with a select few women is portrayed as …

Why is it wrong to your country or cultural sphere as a frame of reference? Liberals and leftists do the same thing when they refer to traditional gender roles or intolerance of homosexuals as "far-right" when those things are ubiquitous outside of the west.

If I accept this argument, it is just one aspect of the masculine gender role. Your conclusion is quite overstated based upon your evidence and argument. It isn't. Every time the topic of masculine gender roles gets brought up there's always some feminist bitch yapping about how it's other men enforcing them. That's what I was referring to. I don't need to address every single aspect of masculinity to refute that.

Do you think there's anything wrong with men not wanting to date bi girls?
/r/PurplePillDebate10/12/23 02:26 AM

There is potentially some truth to this. Research on female arousal indicates that self-identified "lesbian" women also respond to male stimuli. However, the inverse is also true, where self-identified "straight" women respond to female stimuli. This is tentative evidence for female sexuality being a lot more fluid.

Now, I don’t like the way women stereotype gay men too, but it isn’t “homophobic” TL;DR "men bad women good teehee" 🥱🥱🥱🥱🥱 a mot of this ties into misogyny and for women, internalized misogyny - i truly think that many women dislike bi men because of misogynistic views on homosexuality What does misogyny have to do with this? And can you read their minds.

I don't think this makes anyone look bad, frankly. It is perfectly normal, logical and reasonable to not want to date someone who is bisexual. To you, someone who is not particularly socially progressive, sure. To many zoomers now, absolutely not.

Paul Dolan(which both of your articles cite) is full of shit, he made a lot of mistakes in his "research". The most egregious one was with one finding that married women reported being less happy when spouse was "not present". If anything that statistic undermines his point. Women's version of using science in debate is copying and past…

liberals are far, FAR more ubiquitous in politics and media than actual left-wing figures. Who made you the CEO of deciding what is and isn't "left-wing"? Social liberals and social democrats are generally on the left side of the political spectrum/Overton window in Anglo countries, therefore they are labelled "left-wing". Doesn't take a genius to understand this.

That's just you, your experiences are not universal. There is a lot of female anger and bitterness over male sexual partners who are hesitant to commit, or have some other alleged behavioral flaws. Those men clearly aren't incels.

And what does this even have to do with the topic? I am talking about homophobia broadly. Your comments are whataboutism. Lying by omission is like sexual assault or coercion. Not telling sexual partners about your sexual orientation, or anything else, is not lying. And if lying about yourself to sexual partners was assault then every woman who has downplayed their sexual history is a rapist.

Actually, none of it is saying where these norms come from Where else could aversion to male homosexuality come from? that non-bisexual people aren't as likely to date bisexuals as the other way around I think it's funny how women always try to downplay the gendered aspect of things when it makes them look bad. Hetero/bi women are FAR more averse to dating bisexual men than vice versa. Even if you seriously want to hide your orientation from "serious" dates I said the opposite. It's a good idea …

I don't care because fathers being overprotective of their daughters doesn't reflect badly on men as a whole, any more than vice versa. People can be afraid of dumb things. You can't avoid them in professional or educational contexts You absolutely could if you gained enough institutional power/influence to start excluding us. Also there are more forms of misandry. Such as policies by universities and employers that favor women in STEM, male-only conscription(which still exists in several progressive European countries), harsher criminal sentences against men for comparable crimes, erasure of male DV and sexual assault victims(which you demonstrated), etc.
/r/PurplePillDebate07/10/23 08:49 AM

In order for it to be misandry, they would have to be things that women did. In what world? Feminists say that women can perpetrate misogyny all the time, why should misandry be regarded any differently?
/r/PurplePillDebate07/10/23 05:48 AM
-2

You don't live in countries like that. Misogyny may be severe in the global south but in developed western countries it isn't. In western countries women enjoy all kinds of institutional advantages in professional, educational, and legal contexts that men don't.
/r/PurplePillDebate07/10/23 05:43 AM
4

What happens when women want to avoid men in professional or educational contexts? One party has got to go, who do you think it'll be? And why is it that when men abuse or assault women it's attributed to "misogyny", but when women do the same to men at comparable rates(1, 2) it's never attributed to "misandry"?

Fathers greet prom dates at the door with shotgun in hand This is a dumb overblown stereotype, if it ever does happen it's limited to conservative America. Using a gun to threaten people is literally a crime. That’s the message every single one of women’s fathers, grandfathers, brothers, and uncles gave women. A lot of dads feel uncomfortable with even the idea of their daughters having 100% consensual sex, dads are overprotective. What's your point?

There's no other way of looking at LGBT rights and existence as anything but a neutral-to-good thing for society to tolerate. If your religion teaches that it's evil, or you simply don't like it, then there very much is. Whether LGBT rights/acceptance is a good thing or not is a value judgement, there is no such thing as a factually correct answer. We know liberal progressive Muslims have zero issues with LGBT education. They support it. Heck, there are even some queer Muslims in Canada. So we k…

There's a lot of virtue signaling about supporting "diversity" and "tolerance" in western countries but I think this is largely limited to superficial differences. Things like food, clothing, language, ceremonial aspects of religion, etc. But deeper cultural differences almost always cause problems. Things like views on family, the relationship between parents and children, the role of women, core religious beliefs, sexual morality, criminality, etc. A good example of this is the backlash agains…

I was thinking moreso white person with asian fetish In the context of this guy most of the white european girls he features don't seem like koreaboos. They probably just don't see very many people like him and were interested. I wouldn't call it a fetish thing. I would like to see a good comparison between asian deep eyes vs shallow eyes Mine are moderately deep and I have a pretty prominent brow ridge, not chad hunter eyes deep but probably comparable to the average white guy.

technically makes asian people stand out both negatively (some people think narrow eyes are ugly) or positive (asian look!) narrow eyes in of itself can be desirable but there are other asiatic traits that are generally considered undesirable, namely a lack of eyelid crease, extreme positive canthal tilt, and shallow eyes. either way somehow I have a hard time believing shallow eyes is that significant of a concern for his attractiveness😂 for women it's not a big ideal, for men it makes a big di…

by exotic i just mean standing out. hair color, eye color, and the lack of a nose bridge which I think are basically universal for us, are enough to do that. that doesn't mean standing out in any way is desirable, like many asians are short but i doubt being short would help you.

Keep in mind that the lower the rent is, the further you’ll be from a city center and probably your work. You don't need to move to the city center for a minimum wage job lmao. People move there to look for high-paying jobs, minimum wage is the same everywhere in the state. You also need to factor in taxes (12% federal income tax+state income tax). Even the 30% guideline is for net pay, not gross pay. On top of that, the egregious price of medical care in the US is made even worse by the fact th…

It takes 3-4 people working full time at minimum wage to be able to afford to rent a 2 bedroom in most states (as per several of the sources I linked). Which one? As many people here on PPD will tell you, the partner option is not an easy solution. Depends on if you're a man or a woman tbh.
/r/PurplePillDebate05/10/23 05:25 AM

Studio, roommates, partner, or parents. Also for someone making minimum wage, the 30% rule they're using is overly conservative. 30% is supposed to be a general rule of thumb, if you're earnings are literally at the bottom of the ladder then there's nothing wrong with spending more.
/r/PurplePillDebate05/10/23 04:59 AM

Source for all of that?
/r/PurplePillDebate05/10/23 04:06 AM

why should an able bodied, single person working fulltime be a tax burden? Because they're paying far less in taxes than they're costing. Even without cash welfare or food stamps, they still cost the government and society in other ways. Most government spending isn't on those things. that’s essentially throwing a subsidy to their employer. No, it's realizing that you can only take so much from someone making 20-30k a year. Even with a flat percentage based income tax(which is a bad idea IMO) th…

IMO social welfare should be structured so that clawbacks aren't as severe the more you earn. People working minimum wage full time should still get a little bit. This way it incentivizes people to work and earn more instead of being dependent on welfare. If you're reducing social welfare by 50 cents for every dollar they earn, that would be a huge incentive

if you work full time, you should be able to support your own ass and pay some taxes. Nah, if they're not making much it would be like trying to squeeze blood from a stone. Unless you have a poll tax, some citizens are going to be net tax payers and some are going to net tax burdens. It is the way it is.
/r/PurplePillDebate05/10/23 03:53 AM

Nobody is entitled to comfort but you're against making others comfortable because you would be less comfortable? But you aren't entitled to that? Never said I was, I'm not the one arguing for others to provide me with a comfortable life. I'm arguing against high minimum wage policies that indirectly FORCE me to pay more for goods and services.

In 2023, a full-time worker needs to earn an hourly wage of $28.58 on average to afford a modest, two-bedroom rental home in the U.S. why the fuck would one person need to live in a two bedroom home by themselves. or even a one bedroom for that matter, studio apartments and living with roommates exists, you're not going to die doing it. that's how most college students live. living alone is frankly an anomaly, most people in the past and even today live with family or a partner. you could probab…

/r/PurplePillDebate05/10/23 03:05 AM

"Enough to pay for essential needs without government assistance" is a fair benchmark, sure. Where I live(Ontario, Canada) though minimum wage is 16.55, and I think it's above $10 where most Americans live, so people earning minimum wage wouldn't be eligible for much social welfare. I do actually dislike how social welfare is implemented because of the severe clawbacks, which discourages recipients from working and earning more. the negative income tax friedman proposed is a better idea IMO.
/r/PurplePillDebate05/10/23 03:03 AM

I was trying to do low carb but I eventually gave up Why? It is too much effort to weigh ingredients. You don't need to weigh ingredients for low carb, if anything calorie counting is less important. and even if you aren't doing low carb it's better to eat a lot of vegetables instead of frozen processed foods because at least they are less calorically dense.
/r/PurplePillDebate05/10/23 03:00 AM

profit margins for grocery stores and restaurants are incredibly low. especially restaurants, i think most restaurants that are opened end up closing in a few years because of how competitive it is. blaming "the rich" is not the answer to everything, chapocel. for the most part we don't live in a cartoonish fantasy world where companies charge whatever they feel like, and can absorb unlimited costs.

I've read it and I do. It says saying that when controlling for maternal age, live birth rates for IVF procedures generally don't decrease with advanced paternal age into the early 50s, except for a very modest decrease for women aged 35-40. women stop ovulating around the time of menopause which is often later in life, and around the same age when men’s sperm volume, fertility, and ability to conceive naturally, hits a major dud. Men may become somewhat less fertile with age but women become less fertile by orders of magnitude. You're comparing apples and oranges. I don't want to go in circles with someone who doesn't read. Nah, unless you actually want the casual side and don’t mind it, having sex with him is not going to benefit you. This is the last time I will say this. Wanting to have sex with a man and wanting a relationship with him are not mutually exclusive. If he rejects a woman for a relationship but not for sex she could still be getting one of the things she wanted, so she's still benefitting.

What’s the benefit of continuing to fuck someone that has no interest in you? not being interested in a committed monogamous relationship with her doesn't mean he has "no interest". Women don’t benefit from it, unless they only wanted the causal sex. If she keeps having sex with him after he rejects her then she’s not benefiting at all. Then your understanding of "benefit" is very different from most peoples'. You can be denied what you want the most and still get something you like/want. This shouldn't be hard to understand. She can go find another chad to have sex with. If she's not in an exclusive relationship yet then she doesn't have to limit herself to just one.

I never saw anything in the original comment asking that, he was arguing that it's wrong to say that women don't benefit just because they don't get the relationship they wanted the most, which I agree with. Why should this woman go on having sex with a man who doesn’t want her? She can do what she wants. Many of them enjoy it, even if they don't get what they want the most.

men that like you will want to treat you To me, the mere act of offering is a green flag. Like even if they weren’t paying for dates, men still get mad when you don’t put out. Sure, I understand that it can happen. And I'm not saying that making a guy wait in of itself is a sure indicator that a woman's looking for a BB. But it's one factor to consider in evaluating interest, and arguably a fairly reliable one since most women these days don't seem to be averse to casual sex or having sex early …

So he wants more than sex from her? Because casual sex partners don’t hangout or do anything that might be blurring the lines into friendship. If men are not filing nearly as often, then it’s reasonable to conclude that a higher percentage of them are okay with how things are going. That may be one reason. Sexual interest is always valuable if it comes from people you also find attractive. And even if doesn't, it can be valuable if it can be leveraged into money or something else of value. You see this in the form of women making good money through stripping, prostitution, sometimes OF. Gold-digging. Etc. Most women would sleep with an average guy who actually shows her a good time and makes her feel special and sexy. To show women a "good time" she has to first agree to a date. Because in the abortion situation there is no child that comes to be and has needs and requirements The child has needs in part because she chose to keep it, as opposed to having an abortion or giving it up for adoption.
/r/PurplePillDebate03/10/23 12:09 PM

zero argument as usual
/r/PurplePillDebate03/10/23 11:44 AM

Abortion is essentially the abdication of a potential occurrence. An individual human's life begins at fertilization. One is a refusal to allow a certain situation to manifest, the other is a refusal to engage with a situation that has manifested, they are not equal at all. Both involve avoiding parental responsibilities after a child has already been conceived.
/r/PurplePillDebate03/10/23 11:44 AM

Look man, there is no reasonably fair way to grant men the same rights as women in when it comes to responsibility for pregnancy. Frankly this has happened in states that have banned or severely restricted abortion. What's so unfair if the mother KNOWS that he won't stick around and will avoid child support, and still decides to keep it? Your whole argument boils down to "women can choose to not have a baby, so I should be able to choose to not support a baby" Yes.

Other things are fair game though, if it doesn't paint you as undesirable.
/r/PurplePillDebate03/10/23 10:20 AM

Abandoning a baby will cause it to die, so of course you can't do that. Denying a baby tangible help will cause that baby harm, so of course you can't do that. The mother can choose to abort it or give it up for adoption. If she doesn't, then at that point how is it any different than a single person adopting a child or having a child via sperm donation/surrogacy?
/r/PurplePillDebate03/10/23 10:18 AM

The fact women can abort is irrelevant. That’s a fundamental difference borne of biology. Abortion is of course biologically possible, but societies permitting it is not a-given.

Both sexes are treated differently by the opposite sex based on their appearance. Attractive men merely getting more interest and attention from women is an example of them being treated differently. But the phenomenon men here talk about is especially undesirable for us, which is being selected primarily for your ability/willingness to provide as opposed to attraction. Few people like being treated as a human ATM.
