| – | Question for “traditional” men: Do you recognize that traditional gender roles put women at a disadvantage? If so, does this bother you? Or conversely, do you like the power imbalance?Ofc that her life was ruined after your father left her My mother initiated the divorce. My Dad would have stayed if she didn't divorce. My mother just thought her life would be better if she wasn't married to him. She was wrong. She shouldn't have gotten pregnant and marry young in the 1st place. Her life was basically ruined then If she didn't get pregnant, me and my sister wouldn't have been born. Kind of shitty of you to say this, huh? EDIT: And of course she had friends. Her best friend she… | /r/PurplePillDebate | 26/08/24 04:20 PM |
| – | Question for “traditional” men: Do you recognize that traditional gender roles put women at a disadvantage? If so, does this bother you? Or conversely, do you like the power imbalance? It doesn't always go like that, I have a similar story to yours. My parents married young because my Mom got pregnant. Loveless marriage but they sticked together until after me and my sister were adults. After they got divorced my dad flourished and remarried. My Mom on the other hand became mental, an alcoholic and every family member cut ties with her after trying to help her multiple times. Next time my sister and I will hear about her is when we will get the notice that she died. My sister … | /r/PurplePillDebate | 26/08/24 03:59 PM |
| – | Question for “traditional” men: Do you recognize that traditional gender roles put women at a disadvantage? If so, does this bother you? Or conversely, do you like the power imbalance?Sure, that's one of the reasons too. Divorce doesn't have a downside anymore and that's why many divorce for every little reason nowadays. Also I wonder why it's always the husbands fault for you? First the husband is a cheater and now he is a child and doesn't contribute to the marriage. Seems to be a pattern. | /r/PurplePillDebate | 26/08/24 03:44 PM |
| – | Question for “traditional” men: Do you recognize that traditional gender roles put women at a disadvantage? If so, does this bother you? Or conversely, do you like the power imbalance?Plenty of women I know left cheating assholes That's only one of the reasons though. Other than domestic violence and cheating there are many miniscule reasons why people get divorced. Some get bored, some think they can find someone better, for some it's because of a midlife crisis or because their friends told them so . Marriage nowadays has lost it's meaning. People get married way too easily and divorced way too easily. | /r/PurplePillDebate | 26/08/24 03:14 PM |
| – | Why do so many straight men seem to want anal sex with their women? Will you be in an LTR with a woman if she says she abhors the idea?I think most are curious and want to try at least once with their partner but I don't think it's a deal breaker if she doesn't want to. Women typically don't feel anything from anal. Men like it because sometimes anal is tighter than vaginal. Me and my girlfriend tried both anal and pegging but it wasn't for us. The work that has to be done for it to happen is just too much for the little pleasure it gives us. She doesn't feel anything from anal and I'm not that into prostate massages either. I … | /r/PurplePillDebate | 19/08/24 04:02 PM |
| 2 | It takes a high level of intelligence to not be against dating or having children with someone who’s had a lot of sexOh yea that's different. Expecting your partner to have slept only with 5 people but you yourself are whoring around is just hypocrtical and insecure. | /r/PurplePillDebate | 19/08/24 11:04 AM |
| 5 | It takes a high level of intelligence to not be against dating or having children with someone who’s had a lot of sexI have 3 and my girlfriend has 5. We both are 30+. We both only had sex in LTR in our lifes. Why is it so weird to you that people don't sleep around? | /r/PurplePillDebate | 19/08/24 10:56 AM |
| -1 | "No" man fails to get into a relationship because of his personalityAnd? She was an outlier. Others are too. But most women aren't crazy and leave at any sign of a red flag. | /r/PurplePillDebate | 18/08/24 09:00 PM |
| 3 | Why do men demonize women over 30 so much?Yes. In my 30's I'm ready to get married and to have children. Most women in their 20's want to finish college, at least want to work for a couple of years and rise the coporate ladder before marrying and having children. Some even want to live their lifes before settling. We are just in different stages of our lifes. I'd rather have a partner that is on the same page and stage of life as me. | /r/PurplePillDebate | 18/08/24 08:57 PM |
| 5 | "No" man fails to get into a relationship because of his personalityGood looks, money and status can be all things that will help yout to get into a short term relationship or ONS. If you want a LTR you need to have a good personalitty otherwise no women will stay with you. | /r/PurplePillDebate | 18/08/24 08:52 PM |
| 2 | Why do men demonize women over 30 so much?Yea, I can see how this can be harmful to a young woman. I just hope most don't listen to toxic people like this | /r/PurplePillDebate | 18/08/24 08:42 PM |
| 2 | Why do men demonize women over 30 so much?Don't listen to them. There are plenty of men in your age range that would be more than happy to be with you. | /r/PurplePillDebate | 18/08/24 08:28 PM |
| 3 | Why do men demonize women over 30 so much?Yea, I'm not entertaining this conversation with you anymore. Enjoy being single for the rest of your life. | /r/PurplePillDebate | 18/08/24 07:44 PM |
| 2 | Why do men demonize women over 30 so much?Cool are you like into dudes? No, I've tried once when I was younger. What about you? Are you homophobic? You do realize most men WANT sex, right? Like with women? Mature men want a relationship with an equal, not just sex. The only thing a young woman in her 20's can give you is sex. A mature woman in her 30's can give you way more because she is in the same stage of life as you are. | /r/PurplePillDebate | 18/08/24 07:35 PM |
| 4 | Why do men demonize women over 30 so much? What should I do then? Go back in time to those encounters and try to sleep with them to prove you wrong? All I can say is that women in their 20's approached me, flirted with me and I wasn't interested. Again, what would I even do with them other than sex? We're in different stages in our lifes and I'd never date someone that is like a child to me. I'm perfectly fine with my 30 year old girlfriend, | /r/PurplePillDebate | 18/08/24 07:08 PM |
| 10 | Why do men demonize women over 30 so much?Yes, some flirted with me but I never was interested. What would you even do with a 23 year old (or any similar age in that range) other than sex? We most likely have nothing in common and they are like children to me. | /r/PurplePillDebate | 18/08/24 06:53 PM |
| 8 | Why do men demonize women over 30 so much? It's typical RP mentality. Women 30+ are more attractive and interesting to me since they are my age | /r/PurplePillDebate | 18/08/24 06:44 PM |
| 5 | Do men just not care about being abused as much as women? Some day it will be but we are far away from it. It's our (mens) fault too. For example my mother when I sometimes tease her or annoy her she still slaps the back of my head like she used to do when I was a kid. Everytime I'm just laughing at this but if I think about it this is technically also abuse and it's normalised by me and her. If I would do the same thing though she would be offended. This needs to change. | /r/PurplePillDebate | 18/08/24 06:24 PM |
| 7 | Do men just not care about being abused as much as women?Because of Patriarchy, I guess? It's seen as a weakness to snap back at women when she screams at them or raise their hands when a woman attacks them physically. If you tell someone you got abused by a woman most will wave it off or just laugh at you. Abuse against men just isn't taken seriously by both men and women. | /r/PurplePillDebate | 18/08/24 06:10 PM |
| 3 | The west can have a stable and prosperous polygynous society.I'm confused, how will Polygyny help men that are not desired be desired? A polygny society will just have the effect that people that are already in a relationship with a partner they desire will have now more partners they desire and want. Lonely and undesireable men will still be just that: undesireable and lonely. And even if it helps them it still would be something I personally wouldn't want. I like being monogamous. | /r/PurplePillDebate | 15/08/24 06:50 AM |
| 8 | CMV: Your wife is not your mommy. Wives should stop enabling husbands. It got me to thinking... single men often do the bare minimum by themselves. Mattress on the floor. 1 towel, 1 pillow. Plastic dish wear etc. ...where do you find these men? I've never heard of or seen any men live like this unless maybe a college student? | /r/PurplePillDebate | 15/08/24 05:44 AM |
| 1 | Is cold approaching genuinely controversial or taboo?I never had an issue cold approaching women and all my LTR came from approaching women. I don't think it's an taboo either. It's more about how and when you approach a woman. Don't be a creep, approch them in social places and don't approach women when it's dark or when they are busy. I also hate dating apps and think they're harming our society. EDIT: Also No means No! If she isn't interested, respectfully wish her a nice day and walk away. | /r/PurplePillDebate | 11/08/24 09:06 PM |
| 8 | Blue Pill men: Would you be happy being the marriage material or someone she would have casual sex with?Let's be honest here, her bad phrasing alone isn't enough to break off a 2,5 year relationship. There probably is more to it. Maybe he always felt like she wasn't that into him from a physical standpoint and her "compliment" confirmed his suspicions? Or it could be any other thing but we won't know. Either way how she phrased it was bad and I don't blame the guy for reacting negatively to it. | /r/PurplePillDebate | 11/08/24 04:36 PM |
| 13 | Blue Pill men: Would you be happy being the marriage material or someone she would have casual sex with?the key word here is "just". She didn't say he is someone she would "just" hookup with but she said he isn't someone she would hookup with, implying that she doesn't think he is very attractive. He is the safe option to her. What makes it worse is that she had a few drinks before saying this which makes me think what she said is how she truly feels and that it wasn't just bad wording. Huge red flag imo. | /r/PurplePillDebate | 11/08/24 04:23 PM |
| 2 | Blue Pill men: Would you be happy being the marriage material or someone she would have casual sex with?Yea, this is an straight up insult and I would probably break things off after this or at least she would need to earn my trust back for a very long time. I know what she was trying to say but she left out the word "just". If she would have said "You're not someone I'd JUST have casual sex with but marry" it would have been received way better. She said what she said after a few drinks which makes me think what she said is exactly how she feels (alcohol being a thruth serum for some). And that i… | /r/PurplePillDebate | 11/08/24 04:19 PM |
| 1 | Is a man who is lovey-dovey/affectionate seen as feminine or unattractive?I'm big, muscular and bald. I'm a very touchy person and like to hug. It's how I express my love. My girlfriend likes it. | /r/PurplePillDebate | 10/08/24 10:57 AM |
| 5 | There is no real bar or standard for being in a relationshipUsually everyone has a certain bar. The standards are just different. Working out, having a good job, having various interests, working on your mental healths etc. are all traits that increase your value on the dating market. Nobody wants to be with someone that is obese, lazy, has no ambition and is boring except people that are like that too. | /r/PurplePillDebate | 08/08/24 06:46 AM |
| 3 | Are men becoming ok with no sex?Tbf the same goes for women nowadays. Because of social media many women have inflated egos and think they are way higher on the 1-10 scale than they really are. They igrnore guys on their level and go for higher guys and stay single (or FWB at best) because of this. | /r/PurplePillDebate | 03/08/24 05:38 PM |
| – | Virgins vs fuckbois they are the sameAh I see. Yea that's equally as ridicoulous as asking for a virgin. | /r/PurplePillDebate | 02/08/24 06:31 PM |
| – | Virgins vs fuckbois they are the sameIsn't a fuckboy someone that sleeps around very often though? Kind of the opposite to a virgin. Nevertheless, body count is very subjective. Some care, some don't. I don't care very much unless you slept with a ridicoulous amount of people like 50-100 (assuming you are 30-ish like me). Also tbh I never heard the term body count irl though. It seems to be an online only thing. | /r/PurplePillDebate | 02/08/24 06:10 PM |
| 4 | CMV: Males are intimidated by highly educated successful womenDisagree. The actual issue is that these women won't date down when it comes to education. Women inherently still believe that their man should earn more than themself (or at least the same). Which is difficult if you yourself are a highly educated woman. Men on the other hand don't care how much you make. | /r/PurplePillDebate | 01/08/24 08:53 AM |
| 1 | For those who are looking for a relationshipOf course they are intertwined but if I absolutely had to choose I'd pick romantic relationship without sex since I'm a demisexual anyway. I'm also already in a relationship | /r/PurplePillDebate | 30/07/24 09:07 PM |

| 7 | Most ppl want to be the AdorersSometimes I wonder where you guys get these ideas from. How exactly do you compare who loves their partner more though? If it's very obvious one of them is carrying the relationship love wise I don't think the relationship is very healthy and probably wont last. | /r/PurplePillDebate | 27/07/24 06:48 PM |
| – | CMV: Males should not look at women in gymsMales are not allowed to wear sunglasses is this a real thing people do in gyms? Wearing sunglasses? lmao I've never seen this personally | /r/PurplePillDebate | 26/07/24 09:53 PM |
| – | Men should support each other over everything elselol I don't believe that for a second. And if true those women truly didn't have any kind of standards. If by "average men" you mean the standard incel that plays videogames all day and complains about women not having sex with him then yeah I don't blame women for not sleeping with them. Many average guys I know that aren't incels get by just fine and are in loving realtionships. | /r/PurplePillDebate | 26/07/24 09:24 PM |
| – | Men should support each other over everything elseWanting to have sex is a standard? Oh boy... Please stay away from women as far as possible | /r/PurplePillDebate | 26/07/24 09:19 PM |
| – | Men should support each other over everything elseWhat? It's women's fault they don't want to sleep with you? Maybe instead of being an incel you could invest your time thinking about why they don't want to be with you? I mean truly think about that, not the usual "women only want a rich 6'4 chad" the incel group has been saying for years. | /r/PurplePillDebate | 26/07/24 09:17 PM |
| – | Men should support each other over everything elseI'm confused. If you hate women so much and think they are trash why do you want to get a support group going just for the purpose of getting laid with "trash"? Wouldn't it be easier to just stay single? | /r/PurplePillDebate | 26/07/24 09:10 PM |
| – | Men should support each other over everything elseI hope this is sarcasm... | /r/PurplePillDebate | 26/07/24 09:04 PM |
| – | Men should support each other over everything elseI agree but it's easier said than done. You can't help someone that doesn't want to be helped. These men don't want to work to get a girl or work to become succesful. If I tell them to work out, eat healthy, broaden their interests and get educated I very often get either downvoted or get an excuse on why they won't do that. The core issue is they themselves have no standards and want women to lower theirs so they can get laid. It's pathetic really. EDIT: Nevermind. | 0 | Feminism actually makes a lot of sense if you think about it from the right perspective. We are just seeing history repeat itself.Feminists and modern day progressives seem to do something right when people that don't want or like change feel attacked. That being said I think an extremist regardless of their believes is harmful to the said believe/movement. The world isn't black and white but some seem to believe it is. | /r/PurplePillDebate | 26/07/24 08:43 AM |
| 9 | How much do you agree or disagree with these statements on male/female imperative? Not how it was written in the original statement, no. I don't inherently believe women are gold diggers. Women look for a men that they find attractive, aligns with their values/goals and just overall checks all the boxes. A partner they can share their life's with as equals. | /r/PurplePillDebate | 25/07/24 07:51 PM |
| 20 | How much do you agree or disagree with these statements on male/female imperative?Like both are a 1 for me. Are there men and women that are like this? Sure. But I think most are not. | /r/PurplePillDebate | 25/07/24 07:34 PM |
| – | Do you think any man can be sexually successful ?Let me get this straight. You would look down on a guy that cured cancer just because he never has sex? Dude get off the internet and touch some grass | /r/PurplePillDebate | 25/07/24 07:24 PM |
| – | Do you think any man can be sexually successful ?If that is his only goal then no. If he works on himself and his career there will be women attracted to him though. Which is enough in my book, he only needs one good woman in life and he is set. | /r/PurplePillDebate | 25/07/24 06:51 PM |
| 4 | Calling men "pornsick" is a distraction from the fact that social media has over-exposed women to choiceWhat does the one thing have to do with the other? Please meet some actual women. Get off the apps and stop watching incel content. Excessive porn consumption IS a problem, especially among young men. It objectifies women for men, it gives them false ideas for how sex should be, there is a chance it will give them erectile disfunction, it makes them lazy and only makes them think about sex, hindering them to achieve more in life. | /r/PurplePillDebate | 25/07/24 01:15 PM |
| -1 | Men's romantic success depends on their ability to succeed at patriarchy and capitalismYou don't have to be a "gigachad". Just have goals, interests and hobbies. Women and Men will get bored very fast if you essentially do nothing all day. | /r/PurplePillDebate | 25/07/24 10:43 AM |
| 5 | Men's romantic success depends on their ability to succeed at patriarchy and capitalismTo a degree I agree. But I imagine those relationships get boring very fast. | /r/PurplePillDebate | 25/07/24 10:42 AM |
| 7 | Men's romantic success depends on their ability to succeed at patriarchy and capitalismI'm just saying I wouldn't date a woman that works as a cashier, has no ambition to improve her current work status and sits on the couch all day in her free time. She needs to have goals, be sociable and have her own interests/hobbies to make me even consider for her to be a potential partner. I imagine women feel the same way I as a man feel about this. | /r/PurplePillDebate | 25/07/24 10:36 AM |
| 6 | Men's romantic success depends on their ability to succeed at patriarchy and capitalismI mean I don't think anybody wants a bum who does nothing in life as a partner, regardless of gender. Having no goals or ambitions in life is very unattractive for both men and women. | /r/PurplePillDebate | 25/07/24 10:18 AM |
| 1 | Start raising "normie" sonsYou're the only one that is holding you back from changing yourself. If you know you are set in your ways then think about it and do things differently. Being social is a skill that you can learn like any other skill or trait. Nobody is born and automaticaly can do everything perfectly. It takes practice. | /r/PurplePillDebate | 25/07/24 07:38 AM |
| 4 | What do men want women to do when they become sexually undesirable as they age?Intelligence, confidents, kindness and having a good humor are traits that are incredible sexy to me. If you on top live healthy and work out and are not overweight I don't care much how old you are. My fiance is only a year younger than me (I'm 31) and she is the most beautiful women to me. Not just because of her looks but because of her personality too. Men that are only looking for youth and looks are men you don't want to be with anyway. | /r/PurplePillDebate | 25/07/24 06:47 AM |
| 0 | Start raising "normie" sonsWho said anything about women? The point of him doing different activities is to broaden his interests and meet new people. Not to get laid. I don't know what women you know but the ones I know are adults with interests and hobbies. They usually don't waste their time on social media all day. Get off Dating apps. The chance of you meeting a good woman there are very low. Go out, have fun, broaden your interests. Help your community. | 3 | Start raising "normie" sonsNobody's telling you to go to bars/clubs and drink. That's usually how outcast think normal people use their time. There is so many more things you could do. Read a book and join a book club. Or join a cooking class and learn to cook. Visit a museum or a theater. Work out or do any sport you enjoy. You could even travel if you want. Visit new places, meet new people. The possibilites are endless, really. | /r/PurplePillDebate | 24/07/24 09:22 PM |
| 4 | Start raising "normie" sonsI think that's a very sad outlook on life. You're using videogames to escape from your issues, which is fine in moderation. Many men though do nothing else but go to work/school and then play videogames. It's an addiction and it's not good for your mental health. | /r/PurplePillDebate | 24/07/24 09:15 PM |
| 3 | Start raising "normie" sonsThat's basically most men nowadays. Playing videogames, smoking weed and watching porn all the time. IMO you can't entirely blame this on the parents. Doing nothing all day is a conscious choice, especially when you're older. | /r/PurplePillDebate | 24/07/24 08:45 PM |
| 1 | The manosphere does not care about fixing men's issuesGreat! You put more effort into yourself than most men then. I'm talking about most men though. They'd rather blame women for their issues then get off the couch and do something about it. That's my entire argument. | /r/PurplePillDebate | 24/07/24 06:58 PM |
| 6 | The manosphere does not care about fixing men's issuesI mean yes that is exactly what it is. Stupid defeatist mentallity. They don't like to blame themselves for their shortcomings. | /r/PurplePillDebate | 24/07/24 05:56 PM |
| 7 | The manosphere does not care about fixing men's issuesPretty sure his argument to her was "why should I make money if women will take my money after the divorce anyway?". Common excuse for many men if you'd believe. | /r/PurplePillDebate | 24/07/24 05:47 PM |
| 1 | The manosphere does not care about fixing men's issuesFunny how if you take women out of the equation most men still would be lazy bums that use their time sitting on a couch and play videogames all day. Women are not the reason why you do nothing with your life. | /r/PurplePillDebate | 24/07/24 05:44 PM |
| – | The manosphere does not care about fixing men's issuesAs I see it most men have a defeatist attitude around here and only seek excuses to continue to be lazy and not change. Sadly, they chose women as their target to blame. I implore guys to focus on themselves. Aknowledge what you can do to improve yourself and help younger men to achieve that too. Use the help that is already available to you like therapy. Stop blaming others for you faults and issues. | /r/PurplePillDebate | 24/07/24 02:04 PM |
| – | Why aren't women collectively promoting singleness as acceptable for men?Honestly don't bother. It's useless to debate people like that. They are lazy and are losers that want to blame women for their own issues. | /r/PurplePillDebate | 24/07/24 12:17 PM |
| – | Why aren't women collectively promoting singleness as acceptable for men?And women are not pressured by the exact same people you have mentioned? It's in your own hands how you feel about being single or not. The truth is that many men don't have any or just a few friends (especially younger men) and that they see a relationship with a woman as a substitute for their loneliness. Women usually have a better support structure thats why they are more fine with being single. | /r/PurplePillDebate | 24/07/24 11:10 AM |
| – | Why aren't women collectively promoting singleness as acceptable for men?Are comparing the oppression of women for hundreds of years to a few men being insecure and blaming women for their problems? It's not even remotely the same thing | /r/PurplePillDebate | 24/07/24 11:07 AM |
| – | Why aren't women collectively promoting singleness as acceptable for men?Why do women need to promote this for men? Why aren't men promoting it themselves? Wouldn't it be better for fellow men telling younger men that it's okay to be single than women telling them this? | /r/PurplePillDebate | 24/07/24 10:26 AM |
| 0 | There’s really no point to every man doing self-improvement because women have relativist attraction. There will always be a hierarchy of reshuffling winners and losers even if men have objectively raised the floor.Because people noticing your improvements is just an automatic thing that will happen if you self improve. Unless you sit on your couch all day and never socialize that is. I just think doing it because you want to be noticed by others is the wrong way and probably hinders you with true self improvement. Especially women will know when you just do it to get into their pants. | /r/PurplePillDebate | 24/07/24 07:07 AM |

Unless you just sit on your couch and never socialize with any people there always will be people noticing your improvements. If you get more educated you will automatically be more interesting to others. I'm not talking about just dating but in general. Because then you actually know stuff and can hold a conversation longer and have more varied conversations with people. You don't think when you get fit you will notice how you are stronger and more comfortable with your body than before? That's not a measurable improvment to you? Or when you get more educated that you feel smarter? Those are measurable improvements you don't need others for to notice these. Self improve because you actulally want to be a better man. Don't do it for others. | /r/PurplePillDebate | 24/07/24 06:17 AM |
| 5 | Why do women make posts asking where the good men?Agreed. Honestly most are too desperate and end up with the wrong person because of it. I never was into dating and casual hook ups. I took my time and used the time to develop myself both in my carrer and in my mental/physical health. Now I'm 31 and I found a girl that is funny, smart, kind, independent, succesful and is an actual adult with interest that can hold a conversation. Essentially my equal. We will get married soon and I couldn't be happier. So just take your time :) | /r/PurplePillDebate | 23/07/24 08:31 PM |
