The difference between sex for money and sex for free is that sex for money costs less.

This is an excellent post, along with some awesome discussion. Continuing on the sexual communism metaphor... the other thing Marriage 1.0 had was a Sexual Lavrentiy Beria/KGB, who would ruthlessly hunt down dissidents and send them to a uhhh.... Sexual Gulag. Or, really, social ostracism. With the fall of that, as said, extreme promiscuity becomes socially acceptable. Here's the catch, and my reasoning behind it: With a decline in marriage + birth control, I think we'll see a declining birth ra…

Who downvoted this? It's fucking true, with the caveat that Beta Brad might also have a kid or two of his own in that mix. As opposed to today, in which Beta Brad marries Betty Buttergolem in her late 30s, when she's already got 4 of Chad's kids.

This sort of thing comes back to a root cause that, as a millenial, I see becoming more common in my own generation. People want an easy way to get to something, without putting in the work. They're not willing to face up to reality and own their own shit. To borrow a phrase from Ayn Rand: "Nobody stays here by faking reality in any manner whatever". What we ultimately do here at TRP, each to the best of our ability, is to confront and deal with reality, based on our own perceptions.

Surprised it wasn't already on here: "I have a passion for social justice" Translation: Will fuck alphas, and spew SJW nonsense at both alphas and betas, if given half a chance. It's a pretty huge red flag, IMO. Might be decent pussy, but I'd still avoid it like a used jag.

I work for a reasonably large company, and our upper-level execs took a field trip out to silicon valley and spent a few days with their counterparts at google. Was at an exec Q&A session, and some guy asks the VP of HR (male, I might add) why we don't emulate stuff google does like free food scattered everywhere, etc. The response: Google has it because their employees routinely work 60-100 hour weeks, we don't consider that to be either healthy or productive for our employees. Also, when you c…

This is worth a read, for sure. None of it is particularly unexpected, but.... “I’ve also had interns, including a gender studies major. One girl in particular had a lot of crying attacks and emotional experiences. She claimed everything I was showing her was triggering her.” Jaye also had a paid animator drop out of the project because he didn’t want to be part of a project that sympathised with the men’s rights movement. “We had a popular feminist author who was scheduled to be in the film. I hate seeing this in my own generation. An acquaintance of mine is bitching about how much he hates his job and is planning to move to another company for more money, but seems to take it for granted that someone else is going to hire his fat, lazy ass for another 10-15k a year or whatever. When I've talked with my own management, they mention the same thing, most young people these days have a bizzare sense of entitlement and don't want to work for things.

Open cuckoldry isn't something that can last for any length of time. As u/JP_Whoregan pointed out, there is nothing more insulting to men than an insult to their sexual prowess. Given that, I would submit that knowingly being cuckolded and being okay with it is truly deviant behavior, and evolutionarily unsustainable. Those women might put out the pity sex and take the money from Brad the Beta, and he'll be raising/paying for Chad's kids. Anyone with the least bit of sensibility and/or a normal …

I wouldn't say diehard, but I know a few people with fairly high N counts, a lot of alpha characteristics, etc... That keep getting burned because they cling to that BP programming. Thinking it through a bit further though, in a sense you're right. The real diehard white knight male feminist BPers.... Those guys aren't getting laid a lot. No fucking way. I think you're wrong on this. Being BP involves ignoring the objective realities of dealing with women and replacing them with an idealized fantasy. It might corelate that people with low partner counts fall into this category, but its a sweeping generalization. That said, the metaphor at the beginning is a solid way of separating BP and RP views of women

Did anyone else read that Harvard business review link? It definitely reminded me of a comment I saw on here to the effect that women don't appreciate anything they have in abundance. I hadn't heard of the JIDF till you mentioned it here, having just googled it, it doesn't surprise me in the slightest. But the people who shout that shout the loudest and poison the whole pond. This, a million times. Look at where 'feminism" has headed over the last few decades. It's pretty much why this place exist…

Glad I read through the comments to here, the cultural insurgency point is, in fact, spot on. I think a part of that insurgency aspect is that TRP as a whole has realized we don't have the power to change the system so easily. We accept the reality we're in and do our best to work within it. If you (i know, the cultural marxist overtones) go read your Mao, or Ho Chi Minh, for that matter, you'll find we're in a phase where we don't yet have the strength for open confrontation, but we still sprea…

I've got an e36 and love it, it's still pretty manageable. I'd generally say e36 or 46, e21s aren't something you want to daily, and in general I'd prefer a 36 over a 30. Just maintain frame on that and carry on. One of my plates kept going on about how she wasn't a cat person, really couldn't warm up to my cat, etc.... I just ignored it, she's pretty much figured out that my cat comes way ahead of her priority-wise. Fast forward a few months... She's fine with him hopping up in bed now, and when I was out of the country a few weeks ago, she volunteered to come over and keep an eye on him. Shit test passed. I see your point, I guess you could also rephrase it as "you don't have enough higher priority stuff going on in your life" I could totally stop and take 5 seconds to respond to a text, but doing that would force me to say, take my phone into the gym with me, or put down what I'm doing in the shop/garage, or really just stop doing something productive in general. The irony is, articles like this completely prove the points you'll see here about how bankrupt many media sources are. At best, they use excessive ad hominem attacks, but most of them aren't even well thought out. They use descriptors like misogynistic, right-wing, etc without actually providing any foundation or backup to support those claims. The irony is that many of their readers will take it as gospel.

I was out at a bar last weekend, girl starts talking to my group when her date left to go to the bathroom. As he's coming back she said "well, he picked up the tab, I guess I'll go make out with him"... The resignation in her voice was palpable

I'm not a big fan of nofap, and haven't been, for the reasons stated above. But I realized a few weeks ago that I was definitely addicted to porn and masturbation, to the point where I was having a much harder (pun intended) time getting aroused with actual women. The most noticeable change for me is that I'm not as lazy as I used to be, I'm suddenly WAY more hungry to go out and find some new plates, get more exercise, etc. At the very least, I'd say there are a lot of people reading this sayin…

Truth. The only person you need to convince of your worthiness is yourself. Be the best version of yourself you can be, go out, have fun, do cool shit. Women will want to be in your life, or they won't, either way, you should be enjoying life.

Realistically, the Japanese economy is probably a much better example for failed stimulus measures and economic stagnation than the gloom and doom you're predicting, but that doesn't help economists sell newsletters. Markets have this lovely way of adjusting in the long run to meet changing conditions.

This should be sidebar-ed as basic RP financial advice. It's an incredibly complicated subject, but as a very basic rundown, this is solid. Point 1 especially.

You reframed the problem to maintain frame If there was one sentence with which you could try to tell people how to incorporate RP theory into their lives, this is it. It's the Neo/Morpheus conversation in the matrix: "You're telling me I can dodge bullets?" "What I'm telling you Neo, is that when you're ready, you won't have to" When you can reframe the problem to maintain frame, you don't need any tricks.

You can't negotiate desire. You read it when Rollo writes it, you should believe it when you see it in action. I'm inclined to agree with everyone here preaching abundance mentality, soft next and plate on.

This interpretation is not incorrect, although neither is it a remotely complete explanation of the economic changes between the 50s/60s and now. Change in government policy, the bretton woods system, and quite a few other things played a large role.

This is such a key redpill idea, and at some level, a basic human idea. I wouldn't say domain independence is mastery of anything, as you can master a specific domain (ala Mystery, Roosh, etc), but rather, domain independence is adaptability. "Taking the redpill", as we choose to call it here, is ultimately a process of acknowledging certain unpleasant truths about the sexual market place as it currently stands, and adapting yourself to thrive in an inhospitable environment.

Facts and reason have no sway with these people. They pile on a bandwagon protesting injustice without really stopping to think whether or not what they've been told is true, or they don't care. "“I think the next important story is continuing to focus on the problem of sexual assault of young women on campuses, whether Jackie’s story is true or not,” she said." What if a large portion of such sexual assault allegations were untrue? Would that mean there isn't actually a problem?

I know this has been said before but it's worth remembering... Hypergamy doesn't care if you're Asian, black, Jewish, Arab, etc. You're the one with the power to determine your smv, for the most part... use it. Again.... Hypergamy. Doesn't. Care.

There's some solid RP shit in this post and the comments. As mentioned below/elsewhere, while a lot of it comes off as anger, there are a good many men who really need to see what a danger getting married can be to a young man today, both emotionally and financially. There's not much you can do to make that system work well for you other than knock up other guys wives... sometimes you just need to know that the system exists to fuck you any time you come into contact with it, and the solution is…

It can totally a beta bux move, I'll agree. That said, I own (outright) my BMW because it's a fucking awesome car to drive. Granted, I'll be dating girls younger than the car in another year or two. Buying that stuff as a status symbol is a losing beta game. As a car guy, it just fits my persona and adds a bit of credibility.

The rationale on this is definitely true, but it's a not uncommon issue that pops up. Quite a few pet owners are very attached to their pets, and there are a decent number of people out there, such as the girl in question here, who either aren't cognizant of that fact or, maybe, just don't see anything wrong in harming animals. That said, I think the OP would've been better off just telling her to leave.
