It's crazy how we as a society coddle women.

Men are just as much of a prize as the women they mistakenly try to "win over". Men just need to see their own value. Tbh, women should be trying to earn Men as men are trying to earn women. Or we should reframe our language. People should be trying to seek connections with those who are compatible with them. People are not prized to be earned but potential avenues for wisdom; experiences and emotional and romantic connections that can enrich ones life. Think bigger rather than be constrained by…

The liberal feminists devotion to the free market where men are required to "earn what they desire", who I assume are women is such a toxic and dehumanising way of seeing relationships. Capitalism infects and corrupts human relationships and the liberal feminist maintains status quo even at the expense of society if it means those pesky men dont get to have their human needs met without partaking in some social Darwinian capitalist competition to "earn" women like they're property.
/r/LeftWingMaleAdvocates26/09/25 03:17 PM

All we are asking is for progressive feminist women to actually follow the tenets of feminism in not upholding male gender roles, expectations and the patriarchy when it's convenient. Widespread hypocrisy within cultural movement will always invite backlash, especially those who arent spineless appeasing those who lack the devotion to the principles they purportedly follow, especially when it's expedient. Buffet liberal feminism was always a mistake, and feminists are slowly finding out.

I think it went downhill with his mother's death at the hands of a surgeon he paid for despite the risks. If I felt I killed my own mother through negligence, I'd probably lose it as well. Mix that with his bipolar disorder and I can see why he's spiralling. He might come back when he's older and processed stuff.

But a bar or a club or even a coffee shop is fair play. Most people would not fault a man shooting their shot in those thirdspaces. A Gym is a hazardous place for an approach because it's a place where you're constantly seeing the same people everyday, and if things go wrong with an approach, you could be risking your gym membership.

Im loving the death of Romcoms and romance as a movie genre. It was a mistake filling young womens head with unreasonable expectations for a man, who apparently needs to be the king of the dancing monkeys to be seen as worthy according to romcoms and romance movies of the 00s. Nor do we need more media pushing retrograde male gender roles and narrow masculinity.

I wouldn't even say bad women hide their nature when they're around their girl friends but that women in general are less sensitive to women on male maltreatment and abuse than woman on woman or man on woman. Women dgaf when the men inntheir lives are being treated like shit by women because they do not see men as worthy protecting, and if you can't defend yourself against a girl, she sees you as a failed man.

Personally I enjoy foreplay more than an orgasm. Kissing someone you love while you're wrapped around them and seeing them enjoy your foreplay, whether thats touching her the right way or eating her out is far more enjoyable than finishing. One of the negatives of improving your major depression/anxiety disorders that you regain your sense of taste. Food just taste better. Unfortunately, that has meant that despite having an active lifestyle, I've put on 15 pounds over the last 6 months. I miss food tasting stale just for my gym goals and self discipline. My sister went through the same thing. As her MS got worse, her husband grew distance and later had an affair. They're currently going through seperation and now Im tasked with looking after her kid as she try to pay for the home loan. I think we underappreciate how hard women with chronic illnesses also have it. Men may find it harder to get into relationships when they have a chronic illness but women find it difficult to maintain a relationship during a battle with chronic illness

Basically what most progressive women want ime. A man who abides by gender roles and gendered expectations even if theyre not abiding by gender norms themselves. If you go to female dominated blue pill adjacent spaces, there is a narrative that a man's moral virtue and behaviour is directly related to his dating success or inability to find a relationship. /r/PurplePillDebate29/01/25 05:41 AM

The most egregious blue pill lie is that morality or toxicity has any bearing on dating success, and that men's gender roles and expectations are not as strict among women as they claim. People think getting out of depression is like experiencing life in technicolour again and feeling happy. Nah, it's like experiencing the biggest regret hangover after 10 year of being drunk and realising how much you've missed out on and mourning the death of the person you were before you learnt of the depth of life's pain and misery and cruelty and pettiness of people. Getting over depression is worse than the depression itself. Im having a bad one today. 😔

I see this dynamic moreso when couples have been in a relationship for several years, and the Ick-haver are sometimes the one who was settled from the outset. Many relationships seem to have a used by date, and that usually coincides with the accumulation of icks that were tolerated or didn't exist when the relationship was in its honeymoon phase. 7 year itch and all. Turns out we are a serial monogamous species
/r/PurplePillDebate27/01/25 09:27 AM

Unless he changes. My ex started getting icks when I told her about my mental issues a d I started exhibiting anxiety. I was pretty much Chad back in my early 20s, or so I'm told by my friends.

But I think that's a significant minority. Not all women tolerate bad/unattractive manners or hygiene just because hes Chad thundercock or in love.
/r/PurplePillDebate27/01/25 08:03 AM
1

If a girl suddenly gets an ick by how her partner breath or any other random minor quality, do you think it's a sign that the relationship is on rocky roads and the ick is a manifestation of a subconscious urge to end a relationship due to something far more significant that she hasnt done enough emotional processing to realise or are icks not that deep and some guys just have to face the fact that their mannerism are unattractive?

Real life is as well. People judge others on what they do for a living, how they look, who they socialise with, before they even they to know the person. People are just in denial about how shallow our dating rituals and standards are. But I think the internet has done a great job of revealing this truth. It's better to face reality without delusions clouding your vision.

I don't doubt there are many bi/bicurious men out there. But again it all comes down to culture. Why do these men hide the fact that they've slept with another man whilst women openly celebrate kissing or having a sexual encounter with a girl and liking it? The Lesbians are running circles around you guys. What is it with Gay men's obsession with straight men? Atleast learn something from your lesbian political compatriots and pretend to be all for gender identitarianism, anti feminism, meninism and political homosexuality whilst demonising women so you can convince straight men that their future lies with the bros who happen to suck your dick from time to time.

Lilith with another brain-dead take. Most men would agree that one part of acceptable gender roles for dudes when in a relationship is the ability to be a woman's rock when she feels uncertain, emotionally distraught and insecure. I guess it should only be a one way street according to women like yourself who love to pretend men not being stoic 100 percent of the time and requiring help from women and not tending to their womens emotional needs are parasites who need a therapist.

Start getting into industries or positions that will be immune from automation/AI now. Things are heating up in the AI space, we are going to see a progress curve with AI that is probably far more steeper than smartphones in the 00s-10s, especially with China entering into the mix with Deepseek. AI will outcompete heavy industry for energy use. Do it before the sleeping masses wakeup and start panicking, saturating those immune industries with cheaper labour. You've been warned.

I get the feeling that the next generation of Romcoms will have this dynamic. RedPill ideology, heteropessisism and far more tenuous casual relationships like situationships/poly are becoming apart of the dating social fabric and popular thought. It's kind of strange than romcoms these days feels like they were set in the early 2010s. I guess that's probably why gen Z find it so hard to relate to romcoms and is partly why they're not as popular. Gen X amd early millenial romcom writers are going…

One thing I like about being cougarbait is that it's so easy to get a decent job in the pink collar industry because management is full of 40-60 year old women. I just got a new job that Im definitely not qualified for because I had good chemistry with the interviewee, she's even offered to train me in management later this year🙃. Im definately thinking about not doing the course now that Ive got a good chance of making case manager. Older women seem to love me even if younger women no longer.

Yep. Women would much rather wait their turn in the serial monogamy merry go round with Chad or a high value Beta than entertain a lesser man, then complain about becoming single mothers when their valued partners start looking around for novelty pussy or a change in partners. The increase in single motherhood and the higher rates of high value men having children with multiple women and the increase in forever childless men are all linked.

It's why I think it's futile for some guys to believe women will help them with their loneliness crisis or dating woes if they beg enough. It really is a dog eat dog dating world, and one genders loss is the other genders gain. It's why I dont blame guys for exploiting women when they do reach the summit. Modern dating creates narcissists in both genders.

I will say, it's harder for a disabled, unwell or a low status man to enter into a relationship since women do have a commitment to performative masculinity standards despite all this talk of liberation from Gender roles and expectations. But once you've pair bonded and there is love and especially children involved, I find it that women are far more likely than men to stick by a spouse who has become disabled or unwell.

Most young men grow out of this mindset after seeing the average womens sexual escapades. It's a very common mindset for guys under 22. It starts to become delusional if you're still not married after 21. Who knew that women have needs and enjoy sex as much as men and will naturally rack up what the average man would see as a high n count throughout their lives?
/r/PurplePillDebate20/01/25 04:32 AM

People lie. Especially women about their n counts. A man should never trust n counts from a woman. It's better just not to care and enforce your own sexual boundaries and standards. For me, its 4 dates and if she doesn't put out, she's not interested and is only looking for a meal ticket.
/r/PurplePillDebate20/01/25 04:24 AM

The only men who judge women for n counts are insecure men, men from traditional cultures and incels. Ive known women who are sexually promiscuous, and they never had trouble finding a quality man who respects them. Plenty of women also lie about n count. N count is so anachronistic. Most men have to get used to the fact that low n count is an outdated expectation. And it's not like they'll ever know if their partner has a low or high n count either. These days, it's better for men to assume mos…

That's just your opinion. But plenty of navy pilots(Ryan graves, Tic Tac incident, Tehran 1976), intelligence officers(David Grusch, Mellon), Nuclear scientists(Robert Hastings), former President's(Obama, Jimmy Carter) have either been first person witnesses or have seen classified evidence that NHI exists and are keep a close eye on our military and nuclear technology. I don't know if it's Aliens or some kind of AI, but clearly weird is happening in our skies and Oceans.
/r/PurplePillDebate19/01/25 02:11 AM

Read some Jacque Vallee. We've been seeing them for thousands of years, but each era, their appearance change according to what we perceive is just beyond the current state of the art in technology. This phenomena has been with us for thousands of years. I dont think it's classic grey Aliens. It's clearly something more. I don't think we will ever know what it is, atleast in our lifetime

When I'm 35, I'm definitely going full Unc core, but now, I can pass as 25-26, so yeah, might aswell dress like someone who's mid 20s. Fortunately Unc fashion is a lot better now than when I was a kid.
/r/PurplePillDebate19/01/25 12:30 AM

Oh yeah. Im definitely going through a zuck phase at 30 and dressing like a zoomie. Ihad to throwaway all my levi tight jeans a few weeks ago because they were starting to look dated. I have big thighs as a result of my cycling hobby and gym, so I'm kind of grateful that Zoomers think parachutes pants are cool. I think generally, fashion is similar to anyone under 40. After 40, you do get unc and aunt core and more mature styling.

After watching Hasbara propaganda Israeli soldier thirst traps for an hour, I now think women should be conscripted in the military, atleast in non combatant and logistical/support roles. I think the exception is that both of you and your friend know you're not each other's type. I had a female friend growing up and I think it helped that she was so into hyper masculine bad boys(which I'm not) and I thought she wasn't attractive enough and too feminine for me. But yes, if your female friend is even adjacent to the kind of women you're into and is attractive, theres a good attraction will develop from the man's side.

In my experience, highly ambitious women who expect their partbers to level up with them tend to be colder on their partner and are more likely to monkey branch. I dont think they'll stick by their man if things go awry, which they sometimes do. It makes sense for women to set these standards since many desirable women gave an abundance of options, but I wouldn't want to be in a relationship where my worth is dictated by how much I'm willing to constantly level up past a certain threshold where …

Only if you get the fancy stuff from micro breweries. I still recall a fermented stout that I had at a boutique bar that specialises in high end beers, and it had black current, chocolate and spice flavours from the hop. I never tasted anything like it. It was like as if you had chocolate pudding in beer form. And you could just tell they didn't add anything to the flavour to make it fruity, it was only as a result of the skill of the beer maker and quality of ingredients.

Im jealous of all the kids who'll be born today. By the time they'll be adults, there won't be many jobs for the plebs as a resultof AI, and we'll most likely have universal basic income but the government still forces you to work in government corps, replanting trees a few hours a day or some other climate change action for neetbux initiative. We are the last generation to have wasting away in a 9 to 5 job as an integral part of the adult experience.

The fact that teen parents don't exist anymore is probably why we won't exist in a few generations. Teen parents are the greatest propagators of the human race. Once upon a time, most of humanity who could breed became teen parents.

Seeing so many of your friends grow up and do the same shitty things their fathers did, despite swearing to never be like them tells me we are mostly doomed to repeat the mistakes of the previous generations. Theres either too much inertia from a lifetime of watching those you saw as role models behave in toxic ways. Relationships are always hard work. Being good looking just means the first stages of dating is easier. But Women, especially above a certain attraction threshold do want guys who are masculine and competent, and you have to always prove yourself.

Latino girls are coming to Australia to become baristas, ubereat drivers, and corporate types and I' am so glad for it. I'll definitely go to a Latino festival this summer with the boys.
/r/PurplePillDebate12/01/25 01:51 AM

When I was younger, I used to play that game and I used to get grey hair from entertaining some broad I really liked and constantly performing masculinity to suit her vibe. Ofcourse that wasn't the only reason why I was getting greys at 21, but it was a major factor. That was back when I derived a ton of validation from success with women. People underestimate the kind of stress guys can be under just grinding away in relationships and dating. It's substantial if it doesn't come naturally to you…

Women don't actually become loose because of their sexual experience, unless theyre shoving down giant dragon dildos up into their vaginas. Penis size preference is an important and legitimate physical preference to have. The key to finding the right partner is to find someone who matches you sexually, and there's nothing more rudimentary than finding someone who isn't going to tear you in half or do nothing for you as a woman, and for a man, someone who isn't going to give your little man a penis fracture because it doesn't fit right. Sex is important for relationships, and genitalia compatibility is important for cultivating an en…

Are there actually men out there under 35 who don't know how to cook and clean and leave shitstains on the bed? I feel like everytime I hear relationship complaints from women online, it seems like they're talking talking about men who lived in another era or conservative dudes keeping it old school. Most of my brothers and friends are pretty neat, and that goes most guys under 30. Yet I keep hearing how guys don't even know how to adult like they're boomer grandfathers.

Some of them really do get off on the captain save a broad dynamic. If the Baldcels and the shortcels think they have it bad, just imagine being a disabled man. Sometimes I am grateful that my only obstacle to relationship success is mental health. Dating and relationships is always going to be intensely ablest for a man, especially because we are beholden to performative masculine ideals. I feel for our disabled brothers, who's equivalents are seeing a lot more success in dating.

You have to realise, women kind of directly benefit from things being harder for men in dating and LV men getting hurt. Sexual realpolitiks n all. Women aren't wonderful. If you find a good quality source, savour them. The coffee farms in Harar has seen huge reduction in output as a result of disease and drought. They're one of the best berrylicious coffees I've ever tasted and I doubt the heirloom will exist in a few decades since the area is increasingly becoming urbanised. Try to get the naturally processed ones. The washed process ruins the flavour profile.

If say most fruity African coffees have a faint blueberry taste, but I think Harari coffee might have the strongest blueberry profile. I heard it's pretty difficult to get your hands on Harrari coffee so if you can't find it, just go with most other natural processed Ethiopian coffee and evenyually you'll find the variety that has the right Berry flavour.

Rude girl. Ive had relationships, although Im going through a drought now. Its been established that having dark triad traits is hugely advantageous in attracting women. Im.not saying good boys can't have relationships but often being morally sound does become a liability, especially if youre in the extreme end of moral righteousness in the messy world of dating. Women can cope, but there's a reason the bad boy attract good girl who tries to reform him is such a popular trope. Anyone who's been …

I understand. I'm just saying that some guys seem to be of the belief that the dating advantages flips in favour of men as they get older when that simply isn't the case, unless you're apart of the asset owning classes. We are living in an era where most people don't even have 5000 dollars in savings, you'd be surprised by how difficult wealth accumulation is if you haven't been born in the right family and working hard in your 20s.

This is why I doubt dating will get easier as you get older. Lots of women might stop looking for super attractive guy as they age out, but their other standards like financial security and emotional compatibility/social skills does go up significantly with age. Men have to realise dating at all age ranges will be difficult if you're not constantly leveling up. It's a constant grind.

/r/PurplePillDebate05/01/25 09:45 PM

It's trendy for hookups maybe but people still want to have relationships and build a longterm partnership with those who look like them. I think it's Australia aswell. For a multicultural society, people don't tend to cross cultural barriers when it comes to relationships for understandable reason. People do keep to their own community. Im not interested in just hookups or being the exotic mystery meat Thursday guy for some girl going through a ho phase. I actually want to build a relationship.

I also think it doesn't help that clubs and bars are the only acceptable third spaces that guys who left college can pursue women without getting castigated. Even PPD girls will say clubs might be one of the few places to approach women. Men don't usually have many female friends so their social networks are limited when it comes to finding a partner, I think we need alternative thirdspaces for single men and women that aren't loud clubs and who are looking for somebody.

I mean, that's the case if you think all low wage men are emotionally infantile and stunted individuals who can't be team players within marriages, which is as misandrist as you can get. But I guess in the hyper capitalist shithole of America, lower class men are used to having their financial status be indicative of their worth, character and temperament to the average elitist upper middleclass snob who likes to browbeat on less fortunate men as a way of punching down on an acceptable target.

But you're talking about the institution of marriage, which has seen decades long declines in participation with the rise of forever bachelours/bachelourettes, single mothers, and defacto relationships. Marriage is increasingly the domain of the previleged and I do think it's related to the decline in male earning power relative to women. So you may be right that some men might have struggled either way, I think it's hard to argue that the game has gotten harder and you're seeing more men become…

No. I think naturally, if you're going to equalise the sexes, you're going to gave to normalise egalitarian relationships or relationships where women are the breadwinners since the numbers of male primary breadwinners will reduce. Or else you're going to create a dysfunctional dating and relationship environment since lots of men will feel like theyre failing to live up to ideals that is becoming more difficult to fulfill as a result of systemic and economic changes. Women do not choose men according to morals or "goodness" though. I know plenty of misogynists, wife beaters and even gang bangers having hordes of women. Cut it out with this just world fallacy bullshit. It's almost like believing in Santa Clause but for dating. Women prioritise competency, excitement and ability to perform masculinity over "moral goodness". Hell a good man without an edge is derided as "Nice guys" or non sexual entities by many normal women.

Preselection. Every man in a relationship knows that once you're in a relationship, it becomes easier to attract more women of quality if that relationship ends up being a dud. Men gain value with relationships, women lose value with every relationship. But this is to a certain point though. Once guys start having too many relationships, women do register that theres something off about you.

Basically, this. Most women subconsciously or not understand that the current status quo benefits them even if it comes with drawbacks, and it hurts men in their lives. There's far more women who are using SSRIs and have admitted they have a mental health issue than men. Younger girls don't approach guys unless he's gigachad and will play stupid mind games which will leave you feeling confused like they're giving mixed signals all the time which is inconvenient when youre already doubting yourself and playing confident, so anxiety bros ha…

Generally the older generation have pretty retrograde beliefs that they keep hidden as they get older and realise they could alienate their own kids with those beliefs. But from time to time, their honest opinions do come out.

I had a gf who loved her fragrant wines. Going down on her was like entering a cozy hipster bar.

I was told by a gay colleague that the gay community did love this era for obvious reasons

My young Gen X uncles wore skinny jeans when I was a kid. Anyone who was 25-30 at the time were apart of that skinny tight craze

I still think the greatest thing Gen Z has done is end the tight fashion fad that started with late Gen Xers and had its moment with Millenials. There's no greater feeling than having air circulation for your privates. As a 30 year old millenial, It is a relief not to wear skinny jeans or a tank tops anymore. So I thank you broccoli hair kids

I don't know. Crying doesn't fix things or make me feel good I only get relief when I fix my problems or use therapy techniques to stop hyper fixating on things I can't control.

Gym, punching walls, grand monologues(when no one is there) etc. I literally cannot physically cry, so I do those things.

I know right, don't be a money slut. Spending count should be below 1000 a year for dates or you're cooked.

If I get SOI and even the odd number from attractive young girls at a club when I'm not an anxious mess, am I still allowed to cosplay as an incel on this sub? I feel like I can spiritually relate to the average manosphere PPD incels as someone with mental health issues and the same dating woes like trying to fulfill performative masculinity to be attractive to women, yet I'm probably too physically attractive to be one. Hell I got called a pretty boy yesterday by my neighbour despite being 30. …

I feel like I can spiritually relate to PPD incels as someone with mental health issues and the same dating woes, yet I'm clearly too attractive to be one. Should we create another category for lonely mentally ill Chads and Chadlites?

One girls weird is another girls fun tho. Although most women like attractive men with certain physical traits, women have pretty unique preferences when it comes to the personalities of their prospective partner. Some guys weird humour can creep some women out, whilst endearing him to other women. I mean Im not the most masculine behaving guy despite being masculine appearing(muscles, huge chin, etc), yet just because I may get along with women who are into non conformist masculinity, it doesn'…

One thing I've noticed last night was that it only took one girl being interested in me in the beach club during NYE, to have multiple girls wanting to dance with me after a whole night of dancing on my own tune with my friends. It either tells me many women are cowards who only want a man when theres a risk of their competitors taking the guy they've been subtly eyeing or they only covet what others want. If this isn't preselection, what did I experience? One moment, I felt invisible to women, …
