Damn you’re right, maybe I should start by spreading awareness about common male reproductive myths.

“Treatments for low testosterone in women haven’t been largely studied by medical experts. While doctors know about the effects of excess testosterone in women, the symptoms of too-little testosterone aren’t as well known. As a result, doctors don’t always have the same regimen for treatments related to low testosterone levels.” https://www.healthline.com/health/low-testosterone-in-women#treatments Low testosterone in women just isn’t as much of a concern as it is for low testosterone in women. …

I mean that’s a bit of a strawman, but they absolutely won’t talk about mens struggles and when they do acknowledge them they don’t take them seriously.

Is it that you think the concept of men’s rights is so ridiculous no one could actually believe in them? That’s the only way I could see you jumping to these massive assumptions.

Not if it brought it under the healthy range.

Don’t they need permission from a sperm bank? What did they do, falsify a signature?

I don’t even think it’s about wanting obedient men lol. I think it’s literally just stupidity and ignorance towards mens rights

I hope they all give that disclaimer. Maybe women just need to butt out of men’s issues since they don’t know what they’re talking about 😜

You’re the specific type of person that makes me passionate about mens issues. The widespread assumption that male advocates don’t actually care about these issues and dismissing them because women have it worse leaves us no fighting chance. Everybody’s talking about women’s reproductive rights right now so how much of a difference does it make if I join in the shouting match?

It’s not a good comment. It can cause side effects but it can also help some people. It’s not just used to prevent pregnancy.

No this is really bad information. It can cause side effects like any other medication but those aren’t the norm and it even has benefits. It was a lifesaver for me because I used to have heavy bleeding that caused severe anemia and it stopped it for me.

I’m a gay man and I have no sperm so I’m not sure what you’re talking about

And I plead every trans guy reading this to respectfully disagree and not shut up as long as these truths aren’t acknowledged. Sadly, for the most part, we are the only men feminists will take seriously when we share our experiences. If enough of us speak up we’ll be harder to ignore.

Tl;dr: spot on. As a biological female (we were never women) transitioning into a man, I can vouch for every single word of this. The parallels down to each little detail with my own experience is uncanny. It’s comforting reading this while being gaslit every day with the overly simplistic narrative that feminists push. Actually it’s crazy how many of these things you’re not allowed to say. Well, I don’t want to sound hyperbolic- you’re allowed to say them. You’ll just get the feminist equivalen…

I am a transgender man and I care deeply about men. Transitioning made me developer a deeper kinship with other men and develop empathy that made me more passionate about men’s rights. Why don’t we work together towards a common goal instead of fighting over who has it worse?

The last one doesn’t bother me. Well, it does, but not because I think it’s inappropriate. It bothers me in the sense that it makes me uncomfortable and my instinct is to look away. I think that’s a good thing though. I like seeing provocative things that challenge people’s feelings. It’s not like the middle one where it has an obnoxious message. The interpretation is left to the viewer. I’m curious about other people’s thoughts on this.

OP I think you need to pick your battles. If you start drama over little things like this people won’t take misandry seriously.

This reminded me of a post I saw awhile ago on r/psychologystudents. I suggest you read it. https://np.reddit.com/r/psychologystudents/comments/sccnrl/concerned_my_views_may_interfere_with_practice/ I’m confident it will give you a more optimistic outlook on this subject. Psychologists out of anyone are more in touch with what people really go through, and if they were to dismiss your problems because you are a man, they would be an embarrassment to the profession. For those of you who don’t wan…

That explains a lot of it but not all. Like men who aren’t pursuing women because they’re already taken (or any other reason). Is it women=sex monkey brain taking over, societal repercussions of not giving into these games, or (most likely) a combination of the two?

It’s hard to recognize female privilege when society doesn’t acknowledge it and you’ve never had a chance to live the other side. What I’m equally surprised by is why most cis men just take the double standards, verbal abuse, shaming, etc. without defending themselves. I guess it’s social suicide and it’s something you get used to over time, but to someone who was just thrown into all of this I find this…for lack of a better word…simp-like culture to be mind-boggling. Especially gay men who have…

I’m a trans man. For me I just had people stop caring about me lol. It confused me at first. The same jokes and stories I used to tell I would smile and wait for people to smile back/laugh and…nothing. I realized I was just being coddled as a “woman” lmao. I haven’t noticed anybody being scared of me only indifference and more frequent outright hostility. Maybe it’s the way I carry myself. I’m passive as hell and I practically ignore women I don’t need to directly interact with partially because…

From personal experience, “crossing to the other side” can give you unique insight but this is condescending as hell to cis guys. They don’t need us to rescue them by breaking down their emotional walls lmao.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
