It's really not. I understand why they do it, though. Of course it's all of their experiences that shaped their perception of the opposite sex. Believe me, I'm baffled when I see those relationship videos too. But I just wished I wasn't so quickly dismissed. That's all 🤷🏾‍♀️

I want to but I keep getting gaslit and interrogated just because I'm a woman. The guys here assume that just because I'm a woman, I can't relate to them. And it sucks. I just wanted to show them that there are women who also struggle with getting dates and attention from the opposite gender and I get pushback. Why should I offer empathy when I'm basically getting dismissed?

No I'm pretty much a hermit. However there was this one time I was getting lunch from my college cafeteria and I had dropped my umbrella. This guy was nice enough to pick it for me and I glanced into his eyes for one split second and then he walked off. I said thnx of course but nothing else happened. The only distinct thing I remembered was that he had a durag on. I pretty much romantized this guy for weeks 😅. Don't even remember his face 🤷🏾‍♀️

I know because of my parents. My mom did everything thing she was supposed to. And my dad didn’t care. Even came home with fast food when she made dinner. Men don’t look for love, but just a maid. It sucks because she was head over heels for him 😞. They only got stuck together because he used her for sex and she happened to have fallen pregnant. I know my mom was blindsided because the way I see him be charming to strangers is not the same way he is with his family. He even snaps at his new wife…
