It is because at any time you could go on online dating and find someone. While you probably haven't gotten any romantic attention in real life the alternative options are always available.

We've seen that it doesn't really matter what your physical attributes are you will still do fine on online dating. Morbidly obese women still gets lots of attention on online dating, old women, handicapped with brittle bones disease, legless, and so on.

Yeah, thankfully, that's one depth that I never reached, i.e. being an asshole to those who at least try to sympathise with you. I don't know your exact circumstances (and vice versa), so it would be wrong to make assumptions. I certainly don't want to alienate the few members of the opposite gender who might sympathise with me, nor do I want to give them a bad impression of 'people like me'.

In my observation, it's very commonly women, on the internet at least, who shit on and gaslight male losers. They often jump to conclusions about their appearance, beliefs, etc. So, there's maybe an element of, IDK, distrust going on. I think that you're dealing with a lot of jaded, depressed, and isolated people whose own empathy reserves have long run dry.

We should be nicer to one another and stop believing in rhetoric and caricatures.

It's because women always have options and, while not necessarily great, those probably are still much better options than what average-ish men get (not to mention real incels).

I get what you mean and understand your frustration, dating someone who feels disgusting or even dangerous and makes you feel totally uncomfortable shouldn't be considered an option...but still, it's just a whole different universe.

Some of my female friends pretend to be some sort of femcels while getting attention from perfectly fine men left and right... it's just a case of those women not finding anyone worth dating despite them being...well, they are my friends, I will just leave it there and say they aren't exactly flawless. This happens so often that we men tend to believe it's the case with every woman, though certainly, some women have terrible options and sometimes these women's worst flaw is simply not being physically attractive.

Still, through socializing they are very likely to find someone decent in every sense, sometimes even good looking.

You know what? It's funny... yesterday it was my town's celebrations and I was dancing with some of my friends. We saw a very fat girl with a normal boyfriend and one of my female friends told me 'oh, look, that's so nice, it's a curvy. It's great that you can just decide to accept yourself and still be pretty'.

'You aren't that pretty then', I told her, 'it's just that there will always be a man willing to date you even if you are that fat. That's not even curvy, that's just being obesse. Imagine if a man decided to do the same...' (I used slightly different, sugarcoated words)

She obviously had to agree with me, and could see how her brain hadn't even processed before the whole notion about differences between men and women when it comes to dating. I'm sure she could have told me about rich, fat men, or fat men with a nice face, stability and a great personality dating mentally unstable fat women, but she understood there was nothing to compare there. It's just a completely different universe and we all know it.

Incel women do exist. But there is a huge gulf between the two groups. Men are expected to approach and initiate and deal with the psychological hit of rejection, there is no such expectation on women.

Most women want to be in the position of chooser because of the power there. But to be a chooser requires value. Some men were born fortunate enough to be in the position of chooser. Some women were born in the unfortunate position to never be approached.

So it is a difference of never being approached vs getting constantly shutdown.

There is a burden of performance on men or women that the other gender does not share.

The Gulf exists.

Because they people who get into ideologies like this like to live in an echcohamber of victimhood. There's no reason in taking anything they say seriously most of the time when they're that far gone lol will literally sit there and talk like they know how all or most women think while simultaneously saying they can't ever get with or talk to women in the same breath. Frfr "my life is worst than your life!!😡🤪" type shit they look at as a competition get off on being the biggest loser that way at least they have an "excuse" for being as close-minded and horrible and lacking In life as they are.
