The difference is that feminism has actual organizations that lobby governments, often received tax money to support, or even fully fund their continued existence.

Right, like the multiple petitions in the UK, which aim to change the legal definition of rape to include male victims, that keepa getting rejected time and time again?

"Foreskin restoration" is a misleading, dishonest misnomer.
/r/MensRights09/06/26 02:32 PM

Even if Europe - or even US, or the entire world, bans the practice today, there will still be millions of victims that can benefit from the reversal. Not to mention it allows for reconstructive surgery for those who will be cut illegally in the future, or who had to had their foreskins removed before treatmets for other foreskin issues become available - such as BXO.
/r/MensRights07/06/26 03:40 AM

Because they said all they did in terms of medical advice and alternative treatments on their website? Because they might focus on it in their daily practice? Idk how involved they are. I know they exist.

I had a similar experience in a European country. But when I bring up pseudomedical justifications to cut young boys, I get shot down, or the focus remains on religious/cultural MGM. The problem those ppl fail to see is that MGM had been medicalized a long time ago, and acting as if cutting off the foreskin in a medical setting suddenly makes it a non issue - it does not.

I find it ironic that the broad opinion on cutting cultures had shifted significantly towards the negative in the recent years, and not even for MGM reasons. The irony is that people would defend MGM because of the US and Israel and their influence. Those days are long gone now.

You can perpetuate gynocentrism even if you think it is pragmatic. You are still perpetuating the status quo. Don't be surprised when nothing changes and the societal attitudes towards male genital mutilation, or other issues, for that matter, remain exactly the same.

One of the biggest reasons that I, as a mutilated, egalitarian gay man, abandoned feminism and went down the rabbit hole, eventually eschewing the entire label and rhe underlying philosophy. Jassie Jaye's documentary was a HUGE part of the process.

Even the language of the journalist treats the accusations as true. Let me fix that: "A husband who allegedly 'drove his wife to suicide' has claimed he has been unfairly accused because of an 'agenda' that women who make accusations of domestic violence 'must be telling the truth', a court has heard. Christopher Trybus is on trial, accused of being responsible for Tarryn Baird's death because he allegedly subjected her to 'extensive' acts of manipulative behaviour and sexual violence."

The other day, I was watching Hacks and there is a scene with a guy in a dark aubergine suit jacket. Yeah. Even big, fast fashion chain stores like H&M, or Zara have multiple shops that simply do not have a men's section. Makes it easier to be more sustainable, at the very least.
/r/MensRights14/12/25 12:16 AM
0

Nope. The BJU studied penile sensitivity and found the foreskin to be the the most sensitive part. This i ckudes the dartos, inner foreskin and the frenulum. Your experience is fully subjective and also outdated.
/r/MensRights07/12/25 04:17 PM
3

Nothing valid about comparing a retracted foreskin to a circumcised penis. The foreskin is the most sensitive part of the penis.
/r/MensRights05/12/25 10:12 PM
28

Fuck Germany. Fuck any and all countries with conscription.
/r/MensRights05/12/25 03:24 PM
9

I don't care what it sounds like. It is the truth. There is a study published in the British Journal of Urology that clearly states that the foreskin is the most sensitive part of the penis, removed by circumcision. It also clearly states that the remaining sensitive parts lose sensitivity due to keratinization, making the scar the most sensitive part of the penis.
/r/MensRights05/12/25 03:23 PM
9

Because as your glans keratinizes slowly, you won't notice it changing. Until, suddenly, one day, you can barely come and you won't even know why. Just like a from being slowly boiled alive, it will sit in the water as it heats up, until it is cooked.
/r/MensRights05/12/25 03:12 PM

Wait for two decades, after your glas has keratinized and becomes as hard as nails. Also, you are literally like a frog being slowly boiled alive.

This is the socialization part that.
/r/MensRights07/11/25 05:14 PM
8

Well, like I said. That impulse is stronger with some, weaker with others. That being said, you can't tell with a 100% certainty that it's due to nature, or socialization, either. What if you actually do have that instinct, but it has been suppressed by socialization, or bad experiences that formed your opinion?
/r/MensRights07/11/25 04:30 PM
7

Oh so you have no survival instinct either? You never, ever, once in your life, felt any shred of desire to have a child, if your living situation could afford it? There's a difference between choosing not to bring a child into the world because of financial difficulties or the state of the world, and simply not having any instinct to procreate whatsoever.
/r/MensRights07/11/25 03:40 PM
10

This is a chicken and egg conundrum. You cannot be 100% sure of the causality. The fact remains that the instinct to procreate is hard wired into every living thing, to some extent or another.

They already did. There is an episode of Adventure Time, where Finn gets stalked by an obsessive female bee, who is only after his 'flower'. Through adult eyes, it is pretty clear that it's about lust and the desire for possession, and how people act when they chase such obsessions, such as sacrificing self-interest. It is a pretty good watch imo, with good lessons for both the chaser and the chasee, so to speak. And despite all this, the entire episode is missing from streaming, at least in the…

I did not specify therapists. Anyone who claims to be "focusing on men" is a risk. The sex of he therapist is irrelevant. What matters is the ideology they harbor - and, most importantly, in the case of therapy, what issues they specialize in. "Men" do not count, as men are not an issue. Feminist therapists are a danger. Anti feminist are too - as they mostly tend to be ultra traditional instead.
/r/MensRights17/02/25 08:34 PM

You need much larger sample size to be able to use your findings to identify actual real world patterns and to be able to confirm them. Data can only be twisted so much. Many researchers will try to twist their spines arguing for possible reasons why the results do not support their hypotheses. That being said, the sample size mentioned is completely laughable.

You're full of it. Plenty of female urologist recommend circumcision for phimosis, even on prepubescent children. That's not a valid reason, especially not medically. And yet, it still happens. /r/MensRights18/08/24 07:16 PM

Yeah, you assume. But that is not the case. And it has not been in the past either. Many men were cut for bullshit like phimosis without any alternatives offered, at prepubescent age even. You not even having any experience with contact to doctors with foreskin issus is just a cherry on top, while you act like an authority on what medical advice is given to patients.
/r/MensRights18/08/24 07:15 PM

/r/MensRights18/08/24 06:57 PM

No, and neither have you. So maybe take a step back, and consider that your lucky experience is not the universal experience of every man.
/r/MensRights18/08/24 06:46 PM
1

If it's as irrelevant to you as you claim, why are YOU arguing? I do care because it is an important issue. It's not a "minor" thing that doctors legitimize genital mutilation instead of finding and ensuring conservative treatments that maintain full physical integrity and function.
/r/MensRights18/08/24 06:45 PM
1

The average is completely irrelevant for individuals who may not develop so fast, especially considering that both the Danish and the Japanese study both find the incidence of no retractable foreskin decreases with age. Between 11-15, there is above 8% of boys whose foreskin isn't yet retractable. Acting like the age 10 is the black/white border between natural development and pathology that requires medical attention is absolutely insane. Most doctors where I am from advise that boys should hav…
/r/MensRights18/08/24 06:07 PM
1

That is all completely fine But it doesn't mean that your experience is universal, and a minority! How is that so hard to understand ?
/r/MensRights18/08/24 05:54 PM
1

You did. By assuming that prepubescent children should have the same genitals as sexually mature adults, and them not fitting this obviously misguided requirement must therefore make it some sort of pathology. Studies from Denmark and Japan show that in the majority of boys, the foreskin doesn't start to fully retract until during puberty. At age 19, the majority of boys had fully retractable foreskins. Hence it is absolute lunacy to consider it wrong that a boy who at best, just started puberty…
/r/MensRights18/08/24 05:23 PM
1

And your sample size of several is not the same as most. Maybe they know that they will be told that the foreskin doesn't matter so much and that it's the same afterwards, hence misinformed and pressured to get it cut it off without being offered alternative treatment options.
/r/MensRights18/08/24 05:19 PM

/r/MensRights17/08/24 10:11 PM

Phimosis is not something you "end up with". it's not something that you can cause. It's something you either have or don't. And the medical community has a responsibility to ensure treatment preserves the full physical integrity and function.
/r/MensRights17/08/24 08:29 PM
1

And I told you that it's not a free choice, because 1- they are not given alternative options, and 2 - they are misled about the negative effects that follow every single circumcision! "Even when they know stretching is an option, very few are interested in daily stretching for several years." Bullshit. "I've slept with a few guys who had anywhere from moderate to severe phimosis and it wasn't very much fun, but they didn't seem very interested in getting it fixed." No wonder, when it would mean…
/r/MensRights17/08/24 08:28 PM
2

Months, maybe a year or so, not "many years,". You can absolutely masturbate during your stretching process. It might even help it, masturbating literally stretches the preputial ring! Most guys, when they go to the doctor, are never even given the options of stretching, and the only option is amputation. The medical establishment has a responsibility to do no harm and to cure issues, not cut the affected body parts off. So it's not a free choice whatsoever, like you make it sound.
/r/MensRights17/08/24 07:19 PM
1

Absolutely not. Even pinhole phimosis can be stretched out to normal and full function.
/r/MensRights17/08/24 07:06 PM
4

But there will always be harm involved in any surgery, so your point is moot. And talk about pointless diversions, when you compare amputations to cutting hair.
/r/MensRights17/08/24 04:52 AM
6

I am not interested in playing hypotheticals with you. Every circumcision is damaging, risky and painful. There is no way to make it any of those you described. Even if it would be able to get it back, just like Foregen is trying to do so, it won't erase the years lived with a mutilated penis. And if we're imagining ideal scenarios, might as well do it properly.
/r/MensRights17/08/24 03:44 AM
1

Suppose medical science advanced to the point where a circumcision is never performed or necessary.
/r/MensRights17/08/24 01:22 AM

/r/MensRights17/08/24 01:20 AM

/r/MensRights17/08/24 01:19 AM

Still doesn't negate the damage of the immediate removal and the damage that follows due to exposure of the head of the penis. Often even so called "medical circumcisions" are completely unnecessary.
/r/MensRights16/08/24 07:09 PM
10

"I have nothing against showing the hardship civilians are going through in war. Because it is not easy on the either." The thing is that if they really focused on the hardships of civilians, they would be showing all those videos of men being abducted for conscription.

7

No, the issue is permanent damage and disfigurement. Would you say the issue of lobotomies is "consent" as well?
/r/MensRights16/08/24 03:49 PM
24

One thing I never see in the conversation is that even so-called "medically necessary" circumcisions are never actually necessary. Doctors cut even prepubescent children for "phimosis", when their foreskins are naturally still meant to be fused to the glans. They chop the body part off even for completely bullshit reasons, without even considering non-invasive treatments and by that, they literally legitimize genital mutilation as a "medical procedure". Removing the body part is always damaging.…

"femicide is different because they’re two different genders and one is harming the other statistically more than in the reverse." That's not true. Women initiate 70% of non -reciprocal partner violence. Because YOU are using the same disingenuous argument for men!

If it's not okay to blame women as a group for FGM, or any other 'women's issue', then it's not okay to blame men, as a group for murder, or anything else that affects men.
/r/MensRights18/07/24 01:57 PM

Funny how "nuance" disappears the instant it no longer serves your agenda. Are all "causes of death" murders? Doubtful. Is the sole reason for that subsection of deaths the only fact that she was a woman? Absolutely not. But, again, you can't claim to want to bring nuance and then gloss over or gravely misrepresent critical information such as motivations for murders, all to further an agenda.
/r/MensRights18/07/24 01:44 PM
1

Just because some murder is "hateful", does not make it a "hate crime" - with all the legal consequences that entails. The distinctions are essential. A "hate crime" entails more severe punishment. That's not my "personally defined degree of hatred". And more severe punishments are exactly what the feminists, with your help, are trying to achieve. What you don't seem to realize is that by misrepresenting crimes of passion for "hate crimes", you are arguing for de facto a parallel legal system in…

What are the actual reasons and motivations behinds those "causes of death"? Do you seriously believe that they died for the sole reason that they were women?
/r/MensRights18/07/24 01:33 PM

That actually matters a shit ton. You can't pretend that a murder in disempowerment or revenge that has, naturally, elements of hate, is the same as murder based on nothing but a single immutable characteristic a person might have. Just because something is hateful, does not make it a "hate crime". A hate crime is killing a person because you hate their race, nationality, ethnicity, or sex. Not because you hate them as an individual because of some interpersonal issue you have with them. Also, n…

"there is nuance here. femicide is a hate crime because men are the ones murdering women. men are also the ones murdering other men at higher rates." That is not nuance at all. You assume that just because the victim is a woman, that she is only a victim because she is a woman. As if no other factors playes any role whatsoever. Do you really believe people walk down the street and think: 'she's a woman, she MUST die!'? "but never actually specify who it is that is statistically causing harm to s…

Your headline has very little to do with the rest of your post... You're not talking about the MRM, you are talking about sexual assault and victims thereof. On that note, I would like to remind you that the issue with rape is that in many countries, a man often cannot be legally considered a rape victim, because the law is lopsidedly defined in favor of female victims of male perpetrators.
/r/MensRights14/07/24 05:13 AM

Yeah, all the videos from Iran had the streets filled with men. Everywhere you looked, you saw a man's face, and a few women here and there. The majority of people punished as a result were, also, men. And yet, even those protests were described as "women-led"... What a joke.
/r/MensRights14/07/24 02:54 AM
1

You can't claim to argue that women improve themselves, and then make a list out of which two items are self-improvement. That's not arguing semantics. It would be like me saying that salty foods are my favorite, while listing sweets as examples of my favorie foods. There was no "substance". You're literally full of shit lol.
/r/MensRights14/07/24 02:38 AM
1

No. You just mistake a point for semantics. you: "women spend time and money changing their looks, as well as some exercise" me: "Cosmetic procedures are not self-improvement. Focusing only on appearance is shallow and not equivalent to self-improvement." you:"you are ignoring the point and arguing semantics" What a dumbass. Seriously, do you read what people say at all, or do you just skim stuff and only look at the stuff that confirms how you feel?

That's the pot calling the kettle black
/r/MensRights13/07/24 08:06 PM

That's one part of it. The second part which you conveniently keep ignoring is that it is not self-improvement to get a haircut, get your nails done, or go get your eyebrows pulled or whatever shallow crazy crap women do to themselves. My comment was about OP, no idea why you're trying to drag me into the same circumstance.
/r/MensRights12/07/24 10:57 PM

Because that surely is healthy... And it is also not self-improvement. It is playing the social game, to maximize social profit. Nothing about improvement of the self - the self is not the same as how you look.
/r/MensRights12/07/24 10:26 PM
2

You can repeat something as many times as you like, does not mean that it actually addresses my arguments. I am not merely saying that getting your nails done is unimportant (which is also the case), it is also NOT self improvement. I also said that all the fakeness women glob onto their faces, hair and whatnot, actually harms their mental health. And yet, you just act like that isn't important whatsoever, and, instead of actually addressing what people say, you only repeat the same irrelevant n…

Such exams are not the only source of grades. During such, boys often perform equally well. As soon as the teachers have any influence on the grade itself, they favor girls.

You made a comment, trying tonrefute a NON-EXISTENT argument, supposedly made by rhe article, that 'women suffer under the empathy gap, just like they suffer under the pay gap'. You argued that it is, men, not women, as the article supposedly claimed, that men are shown less empathy. The last part, that men are shown less empathy, is true. That is what the phrase "empathy gap" means. You either didn't read the article before making your original comment, or you merely skimmed it. Either way, you…

And yet, you commented, originally, before you made edits to your comment that barely make sense, that the purpose of the article is to push a "pay gap" argument, and that it was arguing that women receive less empathy than men do. Completely contrary to what the phrase is used for within the context of MRA, and, likewise, completely contrary to what the article actually reads. And yes, I know that not many people have heard the phrase. The article is aimed at the general public, not solely at M…

This is the guy, whose solution is to hold boys back in education by letting them enter school later. What ge doesn't realize, is that it will also mean, that men, who these boys grow up to be, die earlier than women, which will mean that most men won't be able to live until their retirement, not to mention enjoy it. He seeks to solve a structural problem with teachers' bias in grading, by placing the burden on young boys, disadvantaging them for life.

Are you seriously going to argue for feminist beliefs here? Chivalry is a knighthood code od conduct that has been appropriated to be used for women too, by a woman. That 'women can do no wrong' is also a feminist thought, as everything is because of that mythical 'patriarchy'... Seriously, just stop yourself.

Bye bye! Don't let the door hit you on the way out.
/r/MensRights25/04/24 03:03 AM

"If you think I’m talking about the average man having power and not men in general idk what to tell you." The latter is also feminist dogma. Feminists have managed to change the laws because women have always had special privileges in human society, while they managed to con everyone into treating them as victims of oppression. You included.
/r/MensRights25/04/24 03:03 AM

You assume men as a group hold the power in society by virtue of their sex. That's a feminist dogma and a premise I refuse to discuss under.
/r/MensRights25/04/24 02:59 AM

Your bigotry is like a pot overflowing under the boiling pressure. We all can see it openly. There is absolutely nothing shameful about masturbation. And you can project as much as you like. How much money have you spent on OF yourself lol?
/r/MensRights25/04/24 02:57 AM

You have fallen for the feminist bs. Society is not built 'by men for men'.
/r/MensRights25/04/24 02:55 AM

Lol, and their number makes them right? In that case, the remaining male population, 2.9 billion men who masturbate must be correct! Lol, keep shaming your own natural sexuality, zealot.
/r/MensRights25/04/24 02:49 AM

You saying it's 'true' doesn't make it so. Defend your position with well-founded logical arguments, or consider this a loss on your part. I certainly will
/r/MensRights25/04/24 02:47 AM

Stopping masturbation won't eradicate your anxieties. It also can't 'mess up' your dopamine. Testosterone isn't 'slow'. Retention of semen only has limited effects on testosterone levels. How does masturbating give you "a unwordly view on women"?

Yea, they are comparable. Conscription is conscription, no matter the place it happens, and no matter the reason. It's slavery. I find it funny you mention crabs in a bucket. Because that's exactly the way women see their avoidance of conscription - 'fuck you, I got mine.' And if irony is needed to have them face the double standard, so be it.

And those medical expenses are the result of a temporary, free, and voluntary choice that you can plan for. I see no reason why that should be seen as a special circumstance that requires financial aid, on the same level, that a lifelong, involuntary disability does.

You are putting it on the same level. Pregnancy is a voluntary choice. Disability isn't. Why should people who make completely voluntary choices, be given financial slack?

Women are just gratefully accepting both. Oh my god, you are even stupider than you seem. First of all, all babies have 'phimosis'. The foreskin is naturally fused to the glans until puberty starts, where it begins to slowly separate. Pre-pubescent children cannot be diagnosed with phimosis. Secondly, you said that when it is necessary, and gave phimosis as an example. Do you believe that phimosis is an 'extreme case', one that justifies amputation? Can you be an adult, and answer my question?
/r/MensRights05/04/24 10:19 AM

Do you deny that you believe that phimosis is a legitimate reason to mutilate a boy/man? Edit: Since you decided to verbally assault me and then block me like the coward cunt you are, I will treat you the same way, you useless bitch with the intelligence equivalent to an empty egg shell: It is not "harassment" to reply to three of your comments, you fucking snowflake. If i were actually harassing you, I would be commenting on every single comment you make in every single thread from your account…

Bitch please. You think phimosis is a legitimate reason for amputation...
/r/MensRights05/04/24 09:57 AM

You think you have been agreeing, but you only kept repeating the same old bullshit, one that still leaves men vulnerable to be mutulated for life because what is "absolutely necessary" ends up always being a doctor's subjective opinion. Circumcision is NEVER the only option left. It is NEVER ABSOLUTELY NECESSARY.
/r/MensRights05/04/24 09:55 AM
0

And event hat small percentage of the population deserves treatment that maintains FULL INTEGRITY of their body and all its parts. This includes the foreskin. And these people deserve treatmets that cure their illnesses and gives them a healthy body with all its body parts. How is that so hard to understand ffs?
/r/MensRights05/04/24 09:40 AM
3

Except for the fact that it NEVER happens to genitals. If you get necrosis there, you are most likely already dead. Stop using it as an excuse to maintain the status quo of male genital mutilation by legitimizing it medically. You're harming men this way.
/r/MensRights05/04/24 09:31 AM
1

they should not be able to choose it. Doctors should not be able to suggest it and should be punished by getting their license stripped for carrying it out. It is a damaging mutilation. Yea, even when carroed out by a doctor, the result is a permanently damaged organ that has lost several functions! Get that through ffs.
/r/MensRights05/04/24 09:29 AM
0

It should not be to the individual. We don't allow individuals to get their arms cut off just because they want to. We don't allow doctors to do that either. Why should the foreskin be suddenly treated differently?
/r/MensRights05/04/24 09:20 AM

I call bullshit. You don't just get necrotic tissue from one day to another. And this doesn't happen to genials as the first body part affected.
/r/MensRights05/04/24 09:18 AM

Bull. Shit. The doctors should not be able to hack and slash just because of pain. Like I said. Infections can be cured with antibiotics. There's pain medications. Phimosis can be stretched. The body part deserves to be treated like any other, not cut away at every semblance of an issue ffs.

The protections they themselves are fully exempt from contributing towards. Women as a group cost the tax system money over the course of their lives. Only men as a group contribute a positive sum. Women as a group are exempt from the draft, they will never be forced to protect others the way men are expected to. Also, feminists =/= women.
/r/MensRights04/04/24 03:53 AM

And your guess would probably be right. The issue here is that feminist organizations expect this on the political and social level. To support and protect women though government assistance, police force and the laws that are implemented.
/r/MensRights04/04/24 12:33 AM

You'd think so. But in practice, they still expect men to provide both financial resources, and physical protections for them.

This is the same mentality that fucks up children in schools. No one does anything while a kid is bullied, until they can't take it anymore and lash out. I call bullshit. You don't "banter" with someone who you feel was pushy, after the fact. I know this, because every thought of even talking to the dude who was pushy with me revolts me. And even if it did happen, ffs, it's a hand under a shirt. Both were drunk and both are adults. They should deal with this between the two of them.
/r/MensRights12/03/24 09:33 PM

It's pure nonsense. A tipsy person is not unable to give consent. If a drunk person can be held legally accountable for the decisions they do when drunk, so can a drunk girl be held accountable to her own choices she did when drunk. Like, wtf. If they were cuddling, why would suddenly a hand under the shirt make her "uncomfortable"? And even if it did. She is an adult. She can stop him, by leaving the room. But instead, she chose to go cry to the media... What are her actual goals here?

I don't agree. This has happened multiple times and not just in Israel. Minor spoiler warning. (even though it's history) There are multiple occasions when women are actually highlighted. One would be the scene of one woman complaining that they did not teach typing during her chemistry studies. Oppenheimer then allocates her to work as one of the scientists, instead as administrative help reserved for uneducated wives. Oppenheimer wife is portrayed as a highly intuitive person, albeit brash, and with postpartum depression and alcoholism. She is also shown to react …

Nah, I couldn't care less what your morals are. Hence my suggestion to go live your life as you please, and leave the rest of us out of it. Why do you feel the need to publicize your morals? Go live them, that's a better testament. I already said what makes one a man - their sex does. You, on the other hand, seem to believe that it is a certain set of behaviours that make a man. I believe that men are men simply by being. I never attacked masculinity. I am attacking the way society treats those …

Then go take care of these responsibilities. But don't come crying back when a) no one around you appreciates it, or even gives a fuck, not to mention a reward for doing so and b) you get punished and fucked over despite doing everything right, and still coming out short-handed. What makes you a man is your sex, not the demands society places on you.

They're complaining that it's not effective in combatting the misogyny they perceive. Not that it's offensive towards men. Not that it's stereotyping men. And definitely not that it's like when neighbors used to bag on each other in former states of the Soviet Union. Both of these camps, the mayor, and the feminist, want men to be socially controlled. No, you're advocating for self-sterilization as a solution to the issue, which it isn't, and which creates further issues down the road. Irreversibility is one of them. Security of the cryogenic lab is another one. And so is the issue of the quality of the frozen specimen, which might be affected by being frozen alone, not to mention ruined should the system fail. Not to mention the insane cost of either of the procedures, not just financially. There are also health effects to literally eliminat…

And it will also permanently damage your healthy bodily functions. You're literally advocating for self harm, when you propose vasectomies as a solution to men's problems. When the solution is to create a system which protects men's reproductive rights and freedoms.

And the state needs to stop screwing men over. The responsibility should be on the lawmakers to make just laws, and not give any 'homework', not on men to 'do their share of work'. You're holding men as a group accountable for the abuse they suffer at the hands of women and the societal system. Why?

And due to common law marriage, states consider even co-habitating couples to be de facto married, with all the drawbacks it involves for men. They very much are the definition of sterilization! They're not always reversible, and with age, they become less and less so. Storing sperm is not the same as being fertile. Sure, that's one part of it. The other part is that these companies are profiting off of men's unique ability to produce sperm, by buying it at a very cheap price and then selling it to women who then, in turn, are able to use their status as single mothers to extract more benefits from the state, including preferential housing, higher benefits, and other perks. All of which are already heavily sunsidized by men as a group through their collective contribution to the tax system. This situation g…

Yea, it would still cause issues. Common law marriage is a thing. There has been a post here, that a woman deserves alimony because she broke up with her ex, with whom she didn't even live together. And yet, the law considered their relationship to be 'common law marriage'. People who think that they can circumvent the bureaucratic shackles by simply not marrying are fools. The system will force even them to pay.

As if men's influence was anywhere near the level of influence women have on children.

The "traditional masculine traits" - " aggression, self-affirmation, social dominance, and lack of consideration for others" are not traditional nor masculine. If these people looked at history, art, books, fables and folk tales specifically, they would be able to identify actuallly traditionally masculine traits, such as bravery, responsibility for self and others, and, most importantly, sacrifice. Those were, and still are all traits society encouraged, and even demanded from men. And still do…

Has it occurred to the author that the reason for why responsibilities end up being divided between men and women is because women choose it to be that way? What if men want to share work and family care equally, and take time off from work to stay at home, or simply lower the amount of hours worked to get more time with the family, but it ends up impossible, because the woman decides to stop working and to become a stay at home mom and an influencer, or start selling essential oils, or homemade…

Think what you want. Call me every name in the book if it helps you feel better about yourself. I know what is right and your approach isn't it. Even though you believe it to be morally superior. Violence is violence, harm is harm. Consent or not. We already forbid doctors from performing plenty of harmful practices. This practice is one that belongs on that list. The evidence of the damages of male genital mutilation is on my side.

There's nothing absolutist about condemning all genital mutilation. I am not imposing anything on anyone. On the contrary. I am fighting for everyone to be protected from imposed damage to their genitals. I will remind you again that genital mutilation, consensual or not, is performed by other people. I understand the concept of autonomy. I also understand the concept of culpability. As such, medical professionals should not be performing circumcisions on anyone. I have a great argument. Yes, I replied to you, because you were not considering the entire scope of the issue. I never said that I didn't like it. I said it is damaging, abusive and genital mutilation. You can try communicating how words like that affect you as a man, and, how, especially other guys saying this also means they are expressing self-hatred. Dropping them right away is probably too harsh, and calling them out will probably alienate you. You can set a boundary, saying that it is offensive and hurtful, and see if that boundary is respected, and then act accordingly.

And just because you believe some people deserve to be killed for whatever reason you choose, does not mean YOU are right or morally correct. In fact, I am saying that such beliefs make you morally incorrect, as per the sanctity of ALL lives, even those of homosexual men, or men who have sex with men. If you truly believe it's justified to kill another person, for having sex with same sex people,or for cheating, this discussion is over right now. Goodbye.

How is it 50/50? A shoulder touch/bump and/or a smile is in no way a sexual act. It sounds to me like a pretty standard, albeit maybe informal, human way of breaking the ice in a new collective. That is just your opinion. But people do care, we are just a small section of people who do. It offends me, and a lot of other people, most just don't say anything against it. That is the first thing that needs to change.

It's not 'just from giving men more changing rooms'. It's from giving women preferential treament in more and more areas, which at some point will become a very, very ugly problem, if not addressed soon.

See how fast women's complajnts are being addressed? And do you see that they're not bringing back equality, but preferential treatment to women, by making half of all changing rooms women-only, while the remaining half remains sex-neutral? Also, notice that even though the man who opened the curtain on a woman was in shock too, which the woman even acknowledges, she immediately goes to the possibility of an assault, even though it was literally a case of him not knowing the changing room was in…

Trade schools lead to physically intensive labor which causes long term damage to the worker and causes them to die early, and in pain. It is not the solution to the crisis of boys and men in society, and it it only serves to make men the workhorses of the society more than they already are. No thank you.

There are many more things that can happen, not just a condom cracking. And even if that was the case, she could have gotten the day after pill, and/or, eventually, an abortion... But we have no info regarding that... Wonder why... It is not the guy's fault that the system forces men into parenthood. She chose sex just as well, and moreover, chose to carry the pregnancy, and keep the child - neither of which she was forced into, unlike the guy, who will be forced to pay child support or go to ja…

More assumptions from you, great! :D Nowhere does it say that they had unprotected sex, yet you claim they did. Nowhere does it mention anything about contraceptives, yet you claim that they guy didn't use any. I see it differently. Men's rights won't progress until people are able to empathize with them. For example, would you like to be forced into parenthood, and if you couldn't fulfill these, often unrealistic expectations, be thrown into jail? I am guessing not. Why then are you being so co…

The 'reasom the man went to court the first time' can also be that he did not want a child at all, but was forced into it, just like any man can. But you don't seem to consider that an issue, despite it happening to the guy yet again. Uh, no. Parental responsibilities are forced onto men, without giving them a way out. But it seems you're not willing to look at the bigger picture here, so I don't see a reason to continue this conversation. Goodbye.

Your response sounds very insensitive considering the treatment men get in family courts, and in cases they are unable to pay child support... Op says that it was a fling, and that at first OP didn't want another child. Op had the opportunity to prevent pregnancy just as much as the guy did. She says the pregnancy was unplanned, but says nothing about whether any of them used any contraception whatsoever, how early she discovered the pregnancy, and whether she could therefore get an abortion. In…

It was a hypothetical scenario. There are states and countries, which count lying about condoms and/or contraceptives as illegal. Of course, the laws mostly affect men, but if that is the case where you live, you might have legal options too - especially if you can document that she lied. My point is that what she did is in some places illegal, while also being immoral. Yes, you trusted her. And trusting another person takes guts. Don't punish yourself for that. "I hate this life but even my therapist says it’s my fault for trusting her." I get how you feel, but honestly, you need a new therapist. First of all, if you lied about condom use, you could be accused of sexual assault, depending on the state. But most importantly, every single relationship requires trust. You are being a victim of deception and societal discrimination here, and it is not your fault she is a liar and that society doesn't give you a way out. I really, really hope you figure out…

But the use case makes it sound like you'd create a place where bullies can bully designated bully targets who are there to be bullied. Exactly like Westworld, but with humans instead... Either way, it only seems plausible either if the targets are masochists, or if they are not human, but we're not there yet, I suppose. And I am not sure we should aim to be there. What the article also completely fails to mention that this does not include all emissions that people cause. This is purely based on food consumption, which will ALWAYS be bigger for men than women, since men need more energy to live. Yeah, no dude. Injury recovery is not done at the gym, but at a doctor's office. I know, because I had done back exercises at one. And while it may be true that regular exercise is beneficial for everyone, the fact of the matter remains that labor jobs will fuck you up, and no amount of exercise will prevent that. How is that so hard for you to understand? Are you seriously not able to understand that a lifetime of physical labor ruins one's health???
/r/MensRights21/09/22 03:17 PM

You're being obtuse now. If the problem is lack of exercise, then exercise is the solution. But if the problem is too much exercise, (read, too much physical activity), then more physical activity is not the solution. Overworking your muscles, joints and ligaments is not 'preventing injury', but a surefire way to cause it. Yeah, cool. Have you wondered that those 50year olds only have the energy to work out because their job doesn't physically ruin them already? You know what? Don't answer. You …

Not every university-education job is 100% sitting in an office, and there are different levels of physical demands in different blue collar jobs. That being said, it is undeniable that working manual labor is not only physically damaging, it also pays less and as a result provides a lower quality of life. You equating it to 'moving around' and a 'sore back and knees' is extremely misleading. Physically intensive labor causes long-term damage you will become aware of over time. This is not about…
