Searching for a study/data

I remember seeing a post/a study which was showing deaths by DV/ intimate partner violence throughout the years, comparing the statistics for both men and women, going back quite far too. I mean going back to the 1800s/1900s, not just the past 10/20 years, if I remember correctly.

There was a point in which all the shelters for women started opening, with all the anti-DV (for women only, ofc) initiatives and state campaigns. That was also the point in which the deaths of male partners started decreasing, as violent women were taken out of violent situations into shelters.

Does anyone remember the study/data too? I have been looking for it but I can't find it, as the keywords mostly result in short term statistics, which mostly show data of women victims (as is typical...).

I would very much appreciate if anyone could link the study O:). Thank you
