Sometimes everyone has to lose for at least a few people to learn down the road. Sometimes mistakes must be made. In modern society people more often than not are shying away from group situations where it's winner take all or where people are made to "feel like losers". I'd rather see people all taking the damage than emotionally jerking each other off. From what I've read people don't like zero sum and negative sum games because the gain isn't clear as day. For some things the true gain happen…

Negative sum games are the most fun. If people don't lose then how are they to grow or accept the flaws they have? Lying is just human nature. Emotional reasoning and outrage are the biggest issues with modern society.

I think your right. I'll give writing a post on that a shot.

Going to disagree with you dude. OP already proved his frame was tinfoil before you called him a retard. Fact is most new guys that come on here have very weak frames. Testing for that the way your doing it is pointless. That's like testing if water is wet or if women are women.

Reading the rest of the comments here I can tell the following: 1) Your frame is tin foil and can't weather even minor pointed comments toward you. Good luck weathering a woman's S test once you marry them. The game doesn't get easier after making the commitment buddy. If you think dudes being a dick to you online is bad just wait until the "angel" you marry "suddenly" opens up on your blue pilled bleeding heart. Every woman has fangs and will rip out their pound of flesh if you can't handle the…

This frame of mind you have around the issue becomes a self fulfilling mental loop. Worrying you appear gay to women causes you be at unease and will disrupt your attempts to prove otherwise. I made the statement about women being bisexual partly as a frame test. You have some work to do and when you have done it you won't care if other people think your gay. That's the real point.
/r/askRPC16/02/22 01:52 AM

Because those are red pill truths. I never said women acting on their bisexual nature is okay. I just said most of them are able to be sexually attracted to other women. The Christian red pill doesn't mean you cover up truths because they wouldn't be popular in church or the world. It means you deal with the world as it really is in the Christian way as God would have you to live. You are going to have it rough in marriage if being seen as gay by other women worries you. Women thought I was gay …

Just how much of TRP and RPC have you read? Why do you care if women think your gay? Besides dude, women are far more gay than any man. The science has even proven most women are bisexual instead of plain straight. So just keep using the women as preselection boosters and quit worrying if they think your gay.

I could see how this book might be good for those 40-60. The red flag to us at the start is something that likely calms the nerves of the blue pilled man going "oh no this book might be mean to women". NMMNG has the same type of blue pilled intro about his wife, but I got over that bleeding heart cucked part and took what was useful. No book is going to be perfect.

You sound like the type that would mate guard. That's one of the quickest ways for your woman to not be yours anymore. In TRP they say she isn't yours, it's just your turn. I think you could use a little of that thinking so you don't make your wife into a golden caff.

It's very prevalent in most colleges. It's also fairly big in city's with over 500k people living in them. And yes culture in the US has become more open about sex over the last 20 years. You can thank social media for a lot of that change. A lot of churches around where I live have seen much more young people coming out as "non cis" gender or being homosexual over the last 5 years or so.

The one thing I've learned is that porn isn't the right answer ever. Not recommending this, but masturbation and even fornication are more healthy than porn. It's still sinful behavior though. Besides if a guy wants sex he should be able to get it outside getting married. If he can't then he isn't getting much if any once he puts the ring on some woman's finger. If I want physical touch I could cry to my mother. "Intimacy" is just a nice way of saying you like that feeling of a warm body after y…

He already tried leading her. It didn't work. Many men already know how to fall on their sword for a woman. If that's what OP wants to do then he can. I'm just saying it's not wise. The woman had a year to fall in line and has not. It's a waste to keep dumping the recourse of time into something that doesn't work. I've seen guy's dump 5-10 years into women that are gutter trash thinking they can fix it. You can't fix broken goods and you can't expect God to do it for you just because you want yo…

The first reason I'm going to disagree is because he has committed sexual sin with her. At this point it's far more trouble than it's worth attempting to turn this ship around. Another guy might be able to get this woman to fall in line quickly, but this isn't another guy. It's the OP and the mind set he wrote this post up with. Including the baggage of carrying around thoughts of knowing exactly what being sexual with her is like. A man with a less than strong frame will be swimming up stream a…

This guy is what happens when people think lifting and then sprinkling a little RP on their blue pilled wet dream will give them what they want. In this case however I doubt he even sprinkled a little RP talking about His "love language being physicality". Yeah OP you need to banish "love language" from your mind. Also you don't get bonus points for saving yourself for marriage or "putting her first in the bedroom" SMV wise. Those things can come across as low value if she thinks you can't get w…

Just about everyone likes to pet dogs. That doesn't make her feminine. You had oneitis rose colored glasses on when you put a ring on this one dude. Now her true colors are coming out and you don’t know what to do because you didn’t swallow the red pill. You lifted some and sprinkled a bit of RP on your blue pilled wet dream & called it a day. No one here says "mental health" isn't real. In fact the whole point is that what the blue pill does to your mental health and state of mind is UNhealthy. Too many parents are drunk at the wheel, asleep at the wheel or simply unwilling to use the word NO. There are all kinds of ways to screw up raising a kid. This post mainly addresses the parents scared to not give their kid what they want when they want it and how they want it. And to the husbands that do the same with their wife while bending…

Jesus flipped tables and beat people with a whip when he got angry. God created the hottest burning pit he could and condemns sinners in it with his wrath. My rage is nothing compared to God's wrath. (Psalm 7:11)

I excuse nothing. Instead of picking any section of what I wrote you take issue with. You go for some lame pecker personal attack and then whine about calling people names. With a frame like that no wonder your moaning about the fact I dared write this. Unless you have an actual point to make then you are acting like menstruating Ladyboy. I bet thinking of yourself as a kissless virgin doesn't help your frame. The western churches are cucked. However not reading scripture and keeping up with prayer are issues. You will suffer for not maintaining a good spiritual foundation. If you actually are perfectly sure of going to heaven, why not share the good news? You rated assurance of salvation a 10. Why doesn't your evangelism reflect this? Most modern father's in the west are beta men. Having a father in your life doesn't prevent you…

Your right about a lot of it. I've been trapped in a vicious mental energy cycle. I do tend to gravitate toward prayer and biblical reading that is self flagellating. My own guilt over sin tends to do that. Your wrong about my parents though. I've done this to myself. Since writing this OYS I realized how damaging porn has been. It might as well been hell. Yeah basically your wife will always be damaged goods until going to heaven. Sin against the flesh remains against the flesh until you get a new body. Her spirit if she is saved will be of God, but the flesh remains and she must be willing to fight it. The issue is with sexual sins women are very prideful at the moment thanks to feminism. They never actually admit to being wrong. Not like men do. There are things you will have to deal with because you married a woman with a less than ideal past,…

It could be both a lack of respect and social filter. The latter mostly due to her high body count and the lack of shame that causes after having so many men enter her. One of the biggest side effects for women with higher body counts is they lose their sense of shame. Men often find shameless women to be quite off putting for a number of reasons. It's not something that's undone and is one of the reasons RP warns against high body count women. Since a shameless woman is much more likely to chea…

I have a question. Do you bring up the other girls you screwed or say things like "Hey dear, remember when I bought hookers..." or "You remember X girl she was my first to wildly moan...." If you do then this is a you issue. If you don't bring such things up from your sexual past to her face causally then maybe it's a sign she doesn't respect you. Nah this is a wife that just wants to hamster her adultery. By the time a woman makes comments like this in front of her husband respect is gone. Never said only women are bad. Men do a lot of bad things in this world and when they do the law comes for them. What I said is women have a core nature that has to be planned around. The fact you can't reason though this and instead resort to the answer of what is meant to be a personal attack says enough. Paul recommended remaining single. That would be how to serve God best. Since not everyone can live up to that standard they get married. So they already fail. 2nd of all Adam and Eve didn't have a government to marry to. It's not required by God. And it's not required by law in the US. No one has gone to jail for simply not registering to marry. The government couldn't care less. And I've already spelled out why I'm not doing it.

Ton's of men didn't plan on divorce at all and it happened anyways. What I said is that "if I wanted to date a girl of the world". Not that I plan to do this. IF I wasn't Christian and IF I DID NOT have the standards that go with it then I would be willing to fornicate because THEN I WOULD have worldly beliefs. By extension then I wouldn't care what her sexual history was because it would be a sex only thing. And yeah I think women are generally boring. Got screwed a few times and even if I had been allowed to date before 18 I wouldn't have. When I said that I was a natural mgtow I meant it. Your point however is that it screws over guys and I agree. But girls are different. When you treat them like men you get stupid results. No father wants their daughter to become a slut. Not saying I would do the exact thing OP has allowed, but I'd rather date a girl that has a dad rule than a worldly one. And besides I have better conversations with 50-60 …

Guy's and girls are different. If you are raising them the same way then your going to get dumb results. I couldn't date until I was 18, but that's because I messed up with the first "girlfriend" I had in 5th grade and freaked my mom out.

I actually disagree with the others saying she needs to stop wanting you to be on dates with her. I'd rather date a girl with the mind set of accountability than being loose as the world. Because if I wanted to date a girl of the world I would date one that's up front about it and bed them. Besides I would likely have more fun talking to the dad than her anyways since women are kind of boring.

Well Jesus was God and so that makes sense. Also there's still people that even think privacy is bad and those who have things they want private are covering up sin with people that will tolerate it. You know the "I have nothing to hide" types that claim they have no issue with the government spying on them 24/7 and so on. I think explaining it as you did should work on most people though.

It's mainly under the "tell wife everything" belief system, but I have heard it used in other context as well. The reasoning I've heard for Christians not having nor keeping the secrets of others is that you project a false image to the world of who you really are and who they really are if you don't bring it into the open. Again not my belief on the matter, but this is what I've heard of before.

I had to think about this for a while. Even though you highlighted/bolded the part at the end it didn't click with me. I was like but the text says grace that we are saved. Now I see the issue with it saying that you get grace after works. Not sure I'd say none of the mormons can be or are saved, but this would throw a wrench in the works and see why it would cause them to raise up a dead crop.
/r/RPChristians27/03/21 07:42 PM

This is kind of an odd question, but why aren't Mormons saved? Or rather is there a reason I'm not seeing for why they can't be saved? I get why there book isn't of God, but if they still believe Christ died for there sin and attempt to live as God basically commanded then isn't the real issue they are reading from corrupt text?

I agree with the core idea of male laziness causing many issues we see in society. However the way you present the case is sorely lacking. When u/Red-Curious or u/rocknrollchuck write they offer insight into how they fixed the road bumps of life caused by weak men. This post on the other hand well let's do a breakdown: I personally would add that they are also responsible for their communities, but that is not an RP belief. Your response clears up a few things I wondered about when reading this post and your other one. Marriage under the state has always been a means to subjugate men to the state. It never worked as Christians intended because it was never for them. Hmmm, why do Pastors get minister license to marry under the state then?!? I'm sure all of us on this board can see the hypocrisy there. For the longest time Marriage was a private affair even in the US. It worked much better then. I'd still say men sho…

Would you expand on this please? I came from a natural MGTOW mindset that realized most of what you have posted before ever going onto forums that covered it. I greatly resented the way the system is and how blind people are. It's not that I now believe things are fair or right, but that I handled the information the wrong way. Truth be told I still really don't like the idea of marriage under the current system. Or how women sin nature works. It's just that I realized doing things God's way is …

- I watch porn on a daily basis with little satisfaction from it; however, watching porn brings this almost unexplainable happiness that I get nowhere else. It doesn't last, which is why I find myself consuming more of it day by day. Watching porn is like drinking salt water expecting to become hydrated. It always leads to a death spiral of using more to no actual relief. Sure it does allow you a fleeing moment where you do feel good as that's how sin gets you back on the ride. I've watched it 2…

I don't really understand this. God's law exists for a reason. Breaking God's law always causes harmful consequences, and this post vividly illustrates some of those harmful consequences. I never denied this. Maybe the most "blue-pill" factor in it is the girl is sort of just treated as a victim instead of a perpetrator. Here it is. Women are human beings that are accountable for their own sin. This post is something I could frankly get from a Sunday preacher shaming men and making sex outside o…

This post is kind of blue pill. To be clear we shouldn't commit the sin of fornication, but the main reason not to have sex outside of marriage is to respect God's design for the spiritual covenant.

This is progress! One step at a time, imo the porn is a much more important problem to tackle first, and it sounds like you're gaining some control here. I've noticed porn has a much heavier effect on my state of mind afterwards than just rubbing one out does. I have a cousin that loves to lift and looks totally ripped, but married a wife that basically controls him and he just says "yes dear" at most now. Then again he needed her just to get though collage and move out of his parent's house. So he got a better deal than many BP guy's get considering she is in school to be doctor and does seem quite affectionate toward him. I actually wondered why Samson got such a bothersome woman if he was basically the strongest man on earth. Even a really hot pussy is just a pussy dude. Nearly every guy runs into a girl hot enough to tempt them into not caring about their other standards including the very important Christian requirement. It doesn't really sound like you are cut out for the military. They will force you to take vaccine's and obey the chain of command no matter who is heading it up. I'd actually say it's likely Biden will make everyone get the Vaccine or even if not then just about every employer will require it. So unless you think taking it would be a sin then it's best to suck it up and deal with it.

As a former pastor once commented to me: "It's not submission until you disagree." Many biblical figures have questioned and even directly opposed God's perspective on things. Yet they still obeyed, and that's what mattered. I don't think I've understood the real value of showing their opposition to God until now. This is a clear sign that you're not being sanctified. Christ has a plan for you. If you become like Christ, his plan for you will become your own plan for yourself. Getting turned on is the temptation. Seeking it out is the sin. In terms of "what counts as marriage" I'd say fantasies that are generally sexual (not necessarily PIV) are enough to bind you to another. So if for say a guy is very turned on by girls when they pop balloons and jerks off watching a woman pop one with a high heel it's not what counts. But if this guy lust over a BJ, foot job or something in that general field then it would count as a spiritual marriage? Asking because 99% of the ti…

Yeah it's likely why so many young people don't want to be married so they don't put themselves and their future offspring though the same thing. Then it occurred to me that perhaps there is a silver lining to this cloud. It's when we're down-and-out, at the end of our rope, that people usually turn to God, isn't it? No …

I'd tell my 20 year old self that Prayer is extremely important and reading the bible can't sanctify you like prayer can. This also loops back into what Deep said about taking faith in God extremely seriously. Also don't consistently seek a short cut in life. There's a difference between working smarter and dodging the bullet all together with less than righteous thinking.

This is a fair question. Let's take the sin of lying for example: people may not think lying is a serious sin, but God does. Think of it this way: If I lie to my sister, she can do nothing about it and there is no punishment to me. If I lie to my wife, I will be sleeping on the couch or possibly headed for divorce. If I lie to my boss, he can fire me from my job. If I lie to the Government, they can put me in prison for a long, long time. The punishment does not increase based on what kind of li…

I thought he was pushing full preterism based on the website link I saw. After his own reply I realized I made a wrong assumption. I'm not really sure how you got an "all or nothing" message from my comment when I said it gave a good case for partial preterism. It's not like I deny all of it outright, but instead have very great skepticism toward some ideas of it.

I was under the impression you did believe or push full preterism. A position I don't think has enough evidence to support. A number of versions of preterism have enough objective evidence however that I believe it could be true. Yet in Daniel's vision of the 4 beasts, those are also described as individual beings, yet the explanation given is that they represent kingdoms, not singular people. Actually they seem to represent both a kingdom and their King/ruler. Kind of how in the same way DC or …

Ok, that makes sense. I have some friends that think the same way. Believing in a false gospel is always a danger. I would encourage you to just stay in the word and work on the seven basics which helped(helps) me a lot. Thanks for the link. I really need to get back into scripture and quit forgetting to rea…

What he wrote was interesting, but why I don't believe in full preterism has nothing to do with the number of people killed. Basically why I don't buy into it is because it effectively adds onto and takes away from scripture to fit past historical events. God is not the author of confusion and I have been convicted that people are too readily applying their own meaning to scripture instead of what it actually says. The website in question pushes a very figurative world view of the bible and that…

Thanks for the links and that website does have information I hadn't seen when looking the subject up myself, but it still fails to answer a number of questions and the answers it does give I mostly find lacking. However it does make a good case for partial preterism. On the other hand I honestly classify full preterism as someone saying the Christ has come and Jesus then telling us not to believe it because it will be known to the whole world. The number of holes in this theology are so huge th…

Alright I'll give this a crack. What if you don't have desire? Can you accomplish something out of sheer discipline? and Do you need desire to actually accomplish something? Desire is what causes a person to act. Be it a desire to gain or fear of loss a persons desire is what always causes them to act. Without a desire of some kind you just won't act. So a desire must be created from realizing and appreciating what you have to gain or respecting what you might lose if you don't act. Discipline…

Repentance is an integral part of Deliverance. You cannot be full of both light, and darkness. A person who has not gone through repentance can still achieve being "delivered" but they will have gone through repentance by the time they are done. I can further clarify this if need be. I actually have a few questions: 1) Do you think unrepentant sinners can get deliverance? 2) Is demonic oppression always cut and dry to know it's going on if you have experience or are there times it only becomes clear when praying to God, confronted or put into a type of situation? 3) If a person deals with the false angel of light situation how can they know if the influence is angelic or demonic?

Honestly your use of verses does distort the gospel. OP didn't say works based salvation. He claimed faith based salvation and if you actually believe all of scripture instead of cherry picking it would be clear to see. God's word also says it's possible to fall from grace and to fall away so once saved always saved is flawed. I'd say deeply flawed even because it requires twisting far too much scripture and adding words onto it that aren't there. This one verse is a kill shot to OSAS because yo…

The guy does porn every 4-6 months according to OP. Already that should be enough to tell her labeling of "addict" isn't on point. It honestly sounds like this dude is really trying not to watch porn and is being sexually starved by a girl who isn't going marry him until he hasn't watched it in years. If I were this guy I would just pass because honestly I doubt she respects him very much if she thinks the biggest issue going on in their relationship is that he watched porn 6 months ago.
/r/RPChristians14/07/20 04:40 AM

Honestly you should move on from this guy if him doing porn every 6 months is an issue. The amount of time required for him to prove it's not "an addiction" to your standard would be in years and it's not fair to him when he is sexually starved. Not in the least saying he isn't committing a sin, but realistically if he is burning this is what happens. If he didn't struggle like this then it would be best if he didn't marry anyone like how Paul remained single.

Yes, given the overall thrust of the Scripture. But if you can stay single for God and serve Him then great. Remaining single is best then. Most Christians who turn from their faith don't do it willy nilly. What I am saying is a person can't operate on predestination. Because God has foreknowledge and created everything doesn't mean you know the right choice. You could work a shady job or be friends with the wrong people just like you can marry the wrong person. So while everything does operate on how God planned it not everything that happens is right or good. What your comment does is open a wide door to justify passivity and future disappointment when OP gets court papers from that "right woman"…

No True Scotsman is really your answer. So your going to tell me if a Godly man picks a woman he thinks is Christian to marry and then she divorces him that he wasn't a real Christian. If that's how it works give me bible verses that prove God picks the "right woman" for you. I'm betting you can't because this is a feelings based position being parroted from whatever Church you attend. This is a very natural and virtuous question. There is a difference between romantic attraction (eros) and love, but the two are often mingled together. In the marital relationship, I would argue that it certainly helps to have both there, and in a healthy relationship one will reinforce and support the other. But the question you pose is a different one. It involves both concepts of duty and of natural bonding - which if not present is unnatural and an indication that something is wrong. I didn…

It's probably best if you abstain from marriage, then, or at least make your views really clear to prospective partners so they can make an informed choice. Care to elaborate on this? It's because of two factor's: A extremely long story short I might have committed an unforgivable sin years ago: (Matthew 12:30-32) I believe in conditional security and that means if I live in unrepentant sin until death then salvation is lost.

I just get this bad feeling that something worse may be around the corner. I've had that feeling more than 4 years. Just remember only God knows the day and hour of Christ return. But the fact we couldn’t have open debate without me being shouted at and labelled just isn’t right. Now seeing your edit with details I understand better. How they reacted is not right, but propaganda and 4th generation warfare tactics inflicted by the industrial media complex run by giant corporations/government caus…

I haven't said much about the current situation for a number of reasons. Right now people are very upset and lashing out. Life's have been lost in the chaos. The entire world is brewing in anger over what is going on. So with that in mind I think you were going to get this reaction no matter what short of agreeing with your family. That's not to say you or they are wrong since I have no idea what you actually said, but this isn't going to be an easy topic to debate with most people.

That is a Black Pill viewpoint. So if I'm into romance that is blue pilled, but if I just lust over sex and find romance lacking I'm black pill. Whatever dude, I'm only into marriage because of what the bible says of burning with lust. That's their problem. They think differently about it when the guy wants to do the same,...wants her accurate "notch-count", and all of her sexual history. The guy needs to tell her, "You brought it up,...you go first". Women easily lie about that stuff. Ton's of …

Government marriage license's are 100% about money. If people aren't willing to forgo it then it's about the money, not relationship period. I'd say this process is good for deciding if you even want to go though with marriage to that person or not. Mainly because Christians are called to keep things out of court and if they are going insist on having a legal contract it should punish bad behavior with teeth enforcing commitment. If you actually believe in grace then don't even sign a legal marr…

Memorizing scripture is a very useful tool since you can recite word for word from your brain instead of flipping though notes, bible or smartphone. It can make an impact on some people for having kept the word in this way. It also makes you appear to be of a stronger state of mind when you can recall details from your own mind instead of Google.

What exactly it that? If the guy isn't even engaged,...or close to it,...he isn't a "man seeking to marry" yet. He is just a guy hoping to get a date. This sounds to me like a little bit BPC (Black Pill Christian). Bible makes the issue clear. Burn with lust go find a chick to marry. Don't burn with lust then it's not worth the squeeze. Don't really care what kind of pill you think that is. This is full of Legalism which gets you no where. This idea of having to confess "all" to a woman you are …

If you are a non-virgin and want a virgin then go for it. It's not hypocrisy as long as you are chaste. I made this thread because I thought how other Christians reacted to this entire question was unexpected. I should have fully expected it, but where I have gone to church no one has yet been shamed for saying a virgin is what they want. Just know that people will try to judge and shame you anyway because they don't understand the Scriptures nor can separate it's a different thing from being a …

I am also a person who has issues with assurance from time to time. I recommend you watch the movie on Netflix The American Gospel. It really helped me with my assurance since Grace is the only reason we are saved. Thanks for the movie recommendation. A bigger one is actually, "I don't feel qualified because I still need to work on so much myself" (the inadequacy excuse). That…

The bottom line is this: Christians constantly like to pretend that physical evidence is somehow 'not that great' or 'might not result in true repentance' but Jesus' ministry on earth was absolutely packed with the supernatural manifestation of his power and authority. Look at the United States today and tell me physical evidence changes anyone's mind about politics. I think a fundamental failing of the church is to understand the epistemology of science, and how evidence relates to theory and in turn relates to fact. This I actually fully agree with you on. It's why most people raised Christian fall away upon entering college. If you don't believe that God is real, scripture is a book the same as any other. I really want to incorporate this into my mission somehow. I'm praying that I will develop a deep love and gratitude toward God, so that I can't help but share it with others. Why would God establish authority figures who are terrible at their jobs, or even worse evil, sadistic, cruel, and murderous? It makes no sense in the natural. And I immediately lose respect for people who pretend that it does (not saying you are doing that at all). I struggle with the concept of all authority being God-ordained. The world is of Satan and that manifest itself in many different ways. Avoiding legal marriage is a waste of time. Even if you don't legally marry and you live in "no common law marriage" states the courts will still interject with joint property and children. Please rephrase in a more articulate fashion. "Positivity" is not toxic, lack of empathy is what the real issue they are complaining about. Creating this label does nothing to address the actual complaint and just gives more ammo to angry internet mobs to use against others. The word toxic should not be thrown around as a label upon minor infractions or misunderstandings yet that's what this will do. As I said it's hard to explain it all. Part of my point was that most people could not tell the difference between time travel and retroactively changing things on a quantum level. Not that I actually think it's time travel into the past. As for your belief's on the end times I read the book of Revelations and studied the different view points on those who think there is a future anti-Christ and those who don't. While I find the argument for preterism/partial perterist interesting it's not what …

This is quite a stretch, and while it is theoretically possible, to allow for this would mean that Satan has outwitted God. I don't quite see it that way as two witnesses sent by God will be going around preaching his word no matter what happens to our bible's. So you can see that the "strong delusion" (or "greatly deceived" in the NLT) refers to people saying that the Day of the Lord had already happened, as referenced previously. This will happen (and is happening now) as apostasy, unbelief …

First of all having read your post on the main sub I must say this wasn't the response I expected from you. In a number of ways actually. I never would have guessed you wrote fiction or would have defined the bible in such a way. However I do have some questions about what you said. But the Bible is not the ink on the page. It is defined by the original writings of the original manuscripts as originally intended by the original authors. If I wanted, I could steal the earliest known manuscripts, …

I guess it's because I've heard Christians say during the end times the anti-christ won't have power over the bible no matter what. Also I've asked a question like this in Church before and was told nothing can happen to the bible unless God changed it. To many Christian's if a house, car, history book or government changed it might be amazing, but not proof of being God. However if the hard copy bibles changed then many could feel compelled to believe whoever did this must be God.

Why? Are they just easier to talk with? Do they keep the conversation going better than 20 somethings? Both I think. It helps they often want to pull a socially awkward person out of their shell. Also if they are old enough it's fun to ask questions of what they did many years ago. That and some of that book "how to win friends and influence people" is very useful. You can still find it online if you search for Day Bang Roosh filetype:pdf. It's a secular pickup book but you can use discernment to glean the stuff that's useful. First, good job on posting to OYS, going to church, and finding and working at your new job. Give yourself some credit for taking action to change your life. Mistakes are an inevitable part of any human undertaking. The alternative is to be passive - which was Adam's sin when he allowed Eve to eat the fruit. I was rewarded so often for being passive in childhood that it became the pattern for my life. At some point I forgot what I even wanted as my parents kept saying "That job will come when yo…

OYS 10/30/2019 Stats: Age: 25 Height: 6'1'' Weight: 189 LB PHYSICAL: Lifting: I haven't been able to workout like before getting this job as I feel tired all day. It's been more than two weeks straight of getting 4-5 hours of sleep per night. I am not like my aunt that has lived on so little sleep her whole life. It's made progress near impossible for me. Sexual: It's all still a mess. I watch porn every other night and I am drowning in sexual thoughts. In fact I acted like I needed a fix while …

I suspect the real trouble is probably the depression, not the sleep. But. Have you tried lifting heavy things to exhaustion earlier in your day, ensuring you have a good kind of demarcation between day and night (kill all the lights including phone notification leds, use melatonin for awhile - look this up to make sure it won't interact with depression first please - build a new circadian rythm by setting and observing a bedtime, play white noise (or not, depending), etc)? Taking melatonin for …

Do you know why you're sleeping so little? Yeah I can't sleep without masturbation or medication. Masturbation is a sin and medication for sleeping makes me need 9-10 hours of sleep to feel rested instead of 7-8 hours. Have you done anything to try and sleep better? I've tried doing push ups right before bed, but that hasn't really worked. For a while it helped a little and assisted in my avoidance of porn. But that's no longer the case. I'm wondering if the things you are posting about are all …

Try Covenant Eyes to get some accountability going. I don't want to install spyware onto my computers. It also wouldn't work as I also struggle with written erotic stuff. He's right, you do need to figure out what it is you really want to do with your life. You seem rather aimless at the moment. I know he is right, but there's nothing that draws me in. You sound like you spend most of your free time in front of a screen. There are many studies out that point to this causing exactly the feelings …

I've asked myself that question a number of times and I draw a blank. I realize this sub is big on the mission thing and for good reason. The only thing I can think of is going back to doing data entry at the Church, but it would just be checking a box for me and I would resent it like I did my small group.

Yeah I know victim puking doesn't help, but I wrote my current state of being as I see it without worrying if it came across that way or not. I set goals for my studies and income levels. I plan on keeping this job for the 3 month's I signed on for and then hopefully move on to a different position or even jump to a different employer altogether. Learning to quit porn is easier said than done. With trading I've done it for years and it's not anymore gambling than marriage is. One requires unders…

OYS 10/23/2019 PHYSICAL: Stats: Age: 25 Height: 6'1'' Weight: 189 LB Bench: 180LB Diet: Only had candy once in the past week. So getting better here. Sleep: Been going with only 4-5 hours of sleep per night for about a week. Porn use: I don't even know what to say about this anymore. It's been every day for the past three weeks or so now. Sometimes twice in a night isn't enough and my brain can't stop porn from blocking my thoughts while at work. Income: To get some cash on the side I've opened …

You need to not take her seriously and use some Amused Mastery here: "Thaaaaaanks mom for trying to hook me up. Got any hot friends that might have hot daughters I could date?" That should shut her up for a while. Be playful about it and tease her like any other girl. If I did that she would never shut up about it. In fact she would take it as permission to try hooking me up again. Or she might just bring up the whole mail order bride thing again. However I should have just thanked her for the s…

All Christians are part of the body of Christ and therefore have a role to fulfill. As you grow and get established as a Christian it should become more apparent. There's also different tools for determining different strengths and weaknesses for spiritual gifts too that you can search for. I took an online test and it claimed discernment was my number 1 spiritual gift. If that's what I am best at then I've got no idea what kind of role that is.

Here's the lesson with your mom... and any future girlfriend or wife. You should've just stopped after she disagreed with fear mongering. An "Thank you. I'll take it under consideration." or "Interesting, you've given me some food to think about for later" or similar phrase is good enough and move on. There's no point in arguments like this. That's what I normally do. This whole movie thing really had her up a wall though and she wouldn't stop talking about it. I thought being firm in saying I…

OYS 10/11/19 Stats: Age: 25 Weight: 191LB Height: 6'1'' Bench: 180 PHYSICAL: Diet: It's been harder for me to cut sweets out totally since I caved. However my efforts have yielded some results and so I won't beat myself up for coming up short here. Sexual: I made it a few days without masturbation until caving after going to small group. Then fell off the bandwagon totally once I ran into a girl at work and it's not been one day without jerking off since Monday. Financial: Went though two whole …

Well, I would still count this as a partial win, especially since you lost weight. Losing weight for me isn't really that terribly hard. A day in my past diet went something like this: Eat a whole 7oz candy bar in the morning then after noon eat 3-4 slices of pizza and before dinner have a light chocolate snack before sitting down to have 1LB of red meat plus one or two chocolate snacks before bed. Despite my near insane diet my max weight was 205 and in my teens I never went over 170LB. It's st…

Yeah I'm actually more satisfied with getting this job now than I was upon first getting the news. It will at least keep me away from home like 10 hours a day and force me to interact with female coworkers. As I don't really talk to girls outside of family members. Other than one at my small group that sometimes greets me. I haven't asked my pastor about working out yet. As for reading I've read the side bar here and on the main red pill sub before. I haven't read any books yet though besides th…

I would also add (as porn is something I have struggled with myself) that having outside people hold you accountable IMO is useless. I remember years ago I tried an accountability group for porn at a Church my friend went to and that didn't work at all. He felt like I was the gold standard based on what I was willing to confess during the meetings. Now I wish that I didn't lie and omit so much of the truth. Like telling them I looked a picture of a girl in a swimsuit once that week while leaving…

I haven't figured out a mission yet and I don't know what my gift's of the Spirit are. Right now I'm lucky to interact with someone outside my house much less engage them enough to serve or love them in any way. So I don't know how I am to do more than pray, read the Bible and go to Church at the moment.

I really hate trying to socialize, but it's a useful skill in life so I need to fix it. I don't like going to bars as my past experiences with them have been dreadful. I did post in the weekly OYS before this and just posted a new one. I've been making conscious efforts to improve my life it's just been kind of on fire in not such a cool way.

I don't think you've ever been a Christian. But don't downvote me or get offended or even stop reading until I explain what I mean. I've thought the same thing about myself countless times so there's no way I could get offended about someone else doubting my salvation when I have written such a sin filled post. And when you mess up, and give in, not if, when, recognize that you are not suddenly lost, God has not suddenly turned his back on you, in fact, he knew and planned for that failure ahead…

OYS 10/2/2019 Stats: Weight: 192LB Height: 6'1'' Age: 25 Bench: 180LB PHYSICAL: Recently spent a week at the beach and walked 3-4 miles a day plus spent a few hours in the ocean everyday. In light of less than ideal eating going out to eat all week plus ice cream every night I still lost weight. Avoided masturbating to porn the entire trip and had a good time with my dad along with other family members. It was a week away from both my mother and step sister. Diet: Not so great as I decided to us…

Thank you very much for your detailed reply. After reading it and spending time in prayer it's helped me a whole lot. Hey man, you've received some good counsel. Here are some additional thoughts: (1) You are not beyond salvation. You quoted Matthew 12:31-32: "And so I tell you, every kind of sin and slander can be forgiven, but blasphemy against the Spirit will not be forgiven. Anyone who speaks a word against the Son of Man will be forgiven, but anyone who speaks against the Holy Spirit will…

First, you have no coherent soteriology (the "mechanism" by which Christ saves sinners). Check out The Sovereign Grace of God by Dr. James White. It is a straightforward read that sets a solid foundation for understanding this important aspect of Christian doctrine. Theological study can often be esoteric masturbation. I promise you this is not the case: you will never feel at peace with God unless you understand what it means to be redeemed. You have no peace and desperately need it. What I bel…

What are you doing for work? What hobbies are you doing in your spare time? Since you are single, what are you doing to meet women? You don’t have to have pre-marital sex to go out and work on your pickup technique. Your porn use is due to a lack of confidence and ambition. Get out and do something with yourself. Been out of work for a little over a month. My hobbies are things like chess, stock market trading and video games. I've never really done anything to meet women and have never tried pi…

I'm in the US and have talked with a number of pastor's about demons. They all seem to think they don't actually exist, only possess people in places outside the USA or that only those practicing witchcraft is at risk from demons. So I have no idea where I could even find someone that knows anything about it in real life.

I've been reading the bible and going to Church more consistently in the last 3 month's than I have in the past. There's been no lasting change in how often I sin or anything else really. If anything it's becoming worse and I honestly think trying to share my faith now would be counter productive. I'll keep on trying though because I have no idea what else can even work and it's what God wants from me anyways. So thanks for the link as it might give me some things I didn't think of before.

After coming back and seeing your comment to my OYS here I made this new account to reply. So, as I understand it, you've been struggling with habitual sexual sin for a while. You can't stop, so now you doubt that you're saved at all because you keep on sinning. You're not a lost cause. The fact that you're saying that shows a desperate need for some more time spent in the Bible. You think your sin is too great for Jesus Christ to overcome? You know he's God incarnate, right? It's that and on …
