With most women judging men most men to be unattractive, the exact opposite of this is true. If anything, women are harsher judges of each other than men are of them.
/r/PurplePillDebate12/08/26 11:22 PM

Absolutely. But the point of this thread is that men are saying women are full of it when they say "they want someone who is kind" and now women are upset at that.

You can say and do anything you want. But other people will have a reaction to your behavior and their own opinion. If you say you're an ally of the pride community, but then reject them on a romantic level, people are going to see that as hypocritical. What you're asking is do whatever you want and then also control the reaction to it and other people's opinion, which is a difficult thing to ask.
/r/PurplePillDebate12/08/26 04:31 PM

No, people are saying it's hypocritical to declare themselves "an ally of the pride community" but then refuse to date bi men. And it is, really. Most people are going to see it that way. But obviously, a person can do anything they want.
/r/PurplePillDebate12/08/26 04:23 PM

You're bending over backwards to say that women can say whatever they want and men are fools for taking it seriously. Ok.
/r/PurplePillDebate12/08/26 04:17 PM

Yeah, I think you're kind of missing the point. Of course, people have all kinds of desires, no one doubt that at all. But we're responding to what OP wrote. For example, this: “People like agreeable people” somehow becomes “You should become a doormat” The line between what is a doormat and someone who is a nice guy is totally arbitrary. And men are becoming frustrated because women will frequently give this answer... "they want a nice guy", when really they want a guy who is super physically a…

Nah. Most women, especially liberal women, will just not be fully honest. If you ask them what they want... they say "kind" or other vague terms. Their answers are really self reflections, in that they're giving an answer which they feel makes them look better. And they do want someone kind, but in the end, they're just like the age old stereotype of wanting someone "tall, dark, handsome, masculine, edgy". They want someone who is all those things, they just aren't fully honest about it.
/r/PurplePillDebate12/08/26 01:13 PM

Men who struggle with dating listen to what women say and women aren't always fully honest or even aware about what they find attractive.
/r/PurplePillDebate11/08/26 09:29 PM

Obviously both men and women encourage the cheating culture they complain about.
/r/PurplePillDebate10/08/26 11:00 AM

Do men have the same bonds that women have where they support each other no matter what like this? They don't, not to the same degree. So you can say whatever you want, but it's simply not there. Man you people are outrageously bitter.
/r/MensRights09/08/26 10:49 AM

This isn't the truth anymore, but women were actually oppressed for a very long time, and because of that developed a supportive bond among them that men simply didn't have to the same degree.
/r/MensRights09/08/26 10:30 AM

I'm guessing you're one of these people. You can come up with whatever explanation you want, but most people think it's hypocritical. It's akin to someone saying they suppor the idea of public schools, but then sending their kids to private school.
/r/LeftWingMaleAdvocates09/08/26 01:08 AM

Oh they can obviously do whatever they want. I just personally find them dancing in the streets as "any ally of the pride community" and rejecting bisexual men to be outrageously hypocritical.
/r/LeftWingMaleAdvocates08/08/26 07:31 PM
11

You choose to accept it or not, but the body count thing does matter. If a person is promiscuous in the past, they have a higher chance of doing it again in the future compared to someone who wasn't. If you care about that, it's ok to make decisions based on that. Women don't want you to care about it because they want the freedom to do whatever they want and face no consequences for it later. I'm sorry, but that's the truth.
/r/LeftWingMaleAdvocates08/08/26 03:15 PM

The real reason they don't date bisexual men is because they perceive them as less masculine. Whether they admit that or not.
/r/LeftWingMaleAdvocates08/08/26 03:13 PM

Long post, but all of this is true in my experience too. I've met so many women who show up to pride parades but would never date a bi-man. A lot of women are liberal and vote Dems because the Dems fight for women's rights. If they didn't, and for some reason women's rights wasn't associated with a side or happened to be a more conservative thing.... they would not care about other liberal issues like climate change.
/r/LeftWingMaleAdvocates08/08/26 02:28 PM

Why would you say men are obtuse about this subject? Because it seems like the opposite is true. Women are underestimating the romantic feelings involved in these friendships and relationships.
/r/PurplePillDebate05/08/26 01:08 PM

Obtuse about what? There's no downside for men. They try and if they eventually get rejected, they get rejected.

A man could meet a woman and ask them on a date in real life. That's how it used to work. It is possible.
/r/PurplePillDebate05/08/26 12:48 PM

Women love people being nice to them, who wouldn't? But in my experience, they HIGHLY underestimate the percentage of time the real motivation for this friendliness is romance, because let's face it men, it almost always is or the threshold to become sexual at any time is very low.
/r/PurplePillDebate05/08/26 12:47 PM

At least she's honest and not telling men they simply need to try harder and be more kind.

You sound like you had some bad experience with someone comparing you to an ex or something similar. People do it in their minds. It's just part of life.
/r/PurplePillDebate05/08/26 11:46 AM

Say someone has the possibility of dating multiple people. How do they decide? In your book it sounds like the only thing you can possibly decide on is physical attraction, because you can't compare any other attribute.
/r/PurplePillDebate05/08/26 11:23 AM
5

You can compare them, but the comparison doesn't really make sense, it would be like comparing a fish to a bird. Of course they're different people. That's understood. But you can compare different aspects of one person to another. There's no rule that says you have to assign one person a "5" and another person a "8". You can think about who was kinder, who was funnier, etc. Beyond that, almost everything about a person is multidimensional and interconnected That's true, but that doesn't mean yo…

It's pointless even if you do I don't really understand your point? Of course, I do and so does almost everyone. I remember what pervious partners were like and think about it in comparison to my current partner. Now do I act on that? That's a different story. You can't compare people atleast in my opinion Of course you can, that's ridiculous to say you can't. One person is more easy going, one person is smarter, one person is in better shape, one person is more kind, etc. This whole "move on an…
/r/PurplePillDebate05/08/26 11:06 AM

That's an optimistic view, but in my experience, people are doing it. I am a middle aged man with a history of dating many people and 4 or 5 long-term relationships lasting years and of course I still think about the people I was with previously at times. I honestly don't want to be a person who doesn't do that.
/r/PurplePillDebate05/08/26 10:55 AM
19

It's impossible not to do this. I think you can make an argument that you should keep this information private and not advertise it, but everyone is doing this if they are honest.
/r/PurplePillDebate05/08/26 10:52 AM

Women experience what they experience and then Blue Pill Men who've been married or in a relationship for a long time come on here and endlessly argue otherwise because it doesn't fit what they personally experienced. I had a Blue Pill guy argue with me the other day that texting, instant messaging, and dating apps have had no significant effect on dating the other day.
/r/PurplePillDebate05/08/26 09:20 AM

Do you expect only 2 in 10 of your woman friends to ever be able to marry or find a partner? Because that's essentially what you're saying if the gender roles were reversed.
/r/PurplePillDebate05/08/26 09:15 AM

This is the answer for equality. It honestly may not be best for society in the long run, but it does give men some sort of equal rights. Predictably, most women I have ever discussed this with hate the idea.

Just what you read. In the study there is list of about 50 things they include as "coercion" and that's one of him. "Man asking more than once for sex". The study was obviously designed to have an extremely broad definition of coercion to cause headlines for the authors.

My guy, you are trying to claim the downfall of men in dating was caused by autocorrect. You keep writing this stuff and it demonstrates how you have almost no understanding of it and have put limited thought into it. Nothing I write is going to change that.
/r/PurplePillDebate03/08/26 08:26 PM
1

This is why Blue Pill is such a ridiculous, immature, and uneducated perspective. "Nothing, has changed, it's all the same." Ok, if that's what you believe, that's what you believe.
/r/PurplePillDebate03/08/26 08:20 PM

Not sure where that came from, but the recent study going around notes men coercing women into sex and includes things like "talking or asking about sex more than once."

My guy, we were texting each other well before the existence of the iPhone Hahaha. I absolutely knew you were going to write this and it proves how out of touch you are. If you think today, the days with keyboards, voice to text, predicative text, and AI is the same as the days when you had to hold down a number for 2 seconds to select the letter you want.... you have no idea what dating has become.
/r/PurplePillDebate03/08/26 06:45 PM

Victim complex. Living in a delusional world constantly talking about being oppressed when in reality most women born in western countries are born with an advantaged life compared to men.

60 to 70% of men under 30 have no girlfriend or partner. 1/3rd of men under the the age of 30 don't have sex. 45% of men under the age of 25 have never approached a woman romantically. Ever! How is this world of oppression possible? It's not.

When exactly do you think dating apps, texting, and social media began? iPhone came out in 2007, didn't become ubiquitous until 2010 to 2012. Overtime adoption and use has become mainstream. However I can tell you with 100% certainty that same complaints and bullshit red pill rhetoric that has invaded every dating discussion, whether you personally identify as red pill or not, is identical to the same shit those same kinds of men were saying 15 years ago. You can't, because you're wrong. Again, …

Answer how this is possible when the majority of men under 30 have not had sexual contact with a woman in the last year and 60 to 70% are unable to get a relationship. How is this world of abuse possible? It's not. Victim complex.
/r/PurplePillDebate03/08/26 02:44 PM

Who knows what that means. The only thing that matters is what translates to real life.
/r/PurplePillDebate03/08/26 02:05 PM

I don't have any idea what you're talking about. If you're talking about men literally looking at a social media profile.... ok, who knows. But the idea that it actually translates to real life. That all these men are abusing all these women. That's physically impossible. You need to let yourself be free of the victim complex.
/r/PurplePillDebate03/08/26 02:03 PM

Most of that article is literal opinion. No matter what you want to believe, the facts that most men don't have any success with women totally refutes this idea that all these men are just constantly abusing women. Most men have absolutely no success with women.

I'm not sure trying to insist to people that the explosion of dating apps, texting, social media, and instant messaging has no effect on dating whatsoever is convincing strategy. Yes, things have radically changed in the last 15 years, because of what I just mentioned. Most people as they age just assume everything works as it did for them and are not open to change or a different perspective than what they experienced. That's what you're projecting.
/r/PurplePillDebate03/08/26 01:14 PM

I am a bit of an older man and have insight into what dating was like 30 years ago compared to now. I go on dating apps and I get all kinds of matches, matches sometimes every other day even after being on the app for months (not the new rush of matches that can happen when you first join an app). But most of these matches turn into almost nothing. Because every average looking woman is getting so many matches and interest you essentially have to look like a movie star or absolutely kiss their a…

You live in an internet bubble not connected to reality. 60 to 70% of men under the age of 30 have no partner and go years between sexual encounters. Yes, these men you're talking about exist. No, the average guy isn't even close to this reality.
/r/PurplePillDebate03/08/26 12:56 PM

Not saying there aren't downsides, but there certainly are a ton more advantages walking through life having half the population attracted to you than disadvantages. As Blue Pill Man, you're likely a bit older, married, or in a long term relationship, and have little insight into how difficult life has become for young men, especially. Going through life completely ignored is certainly a hell of a lot tougher.
/r/PurplePillDebate03/08/26 12:50 PM

So tough having all these men physically attracted to you. I am not sure how you get by in life with that cross to bear.
/r/PurplePillDebate03/08/26 12:35 PM

Yeah, you're right. Often societal opinion takes a while to catch up to reality. For a very long time, women were very disadvantaged. But as of the last two decades, that has flipped. Being born at least an average looking woman in the US or other western countries is a big advantage in life.
/r/PurplePillDebate03/08/26 12:33 PM
3

You can't look at some random group on the internet and decide that's all men. Most men have a very difficult time getting a girlfriend at all so this idea they're all trying to be "players" is totally nonsensical.

Yeah, I'm sorry, but people aren't changing their dating prefernces based on a prediction of who will do more housework. Dating has become difficult because texting, instant messaging, dating apps, and feminism cultures have completely changed the game. Men pursue women. That's how our species evolved. In the past, the men women had available to them was those in their immediate area. Now, it's anyone they ever met online or in real life, and that person can message them limitlessly. Their optio…

I think this is a view from the past. Women have tremendously more options than men today, on average, and the vast majority of relationships I see are being ended by women, in part because they have so many more options. There absolutely are a population of men who "fuck and run", and they are possibly the worst actors in dating these days, but that's only about 5 to 10% of men. Disagreeing with you and thinking your opinion ridiculous is not being hostile, it's just disagreeing with you. Regardless, you'll never be open to looking at the issue any other way, so we'll just recommend men avoid dating women this close minded.

Hostile is an exagerration. Your opinion is just ridiculous. Insisting a family has to end because of a paternity test is just ridiculous. There's really not much else to say. You know what would happen in the real world if you got a paternity test? Nothing. Nothing would happen. You seem to have all these ideas insisting "this has to work this way" or "something has to be like this". And no, none of it does. You know what could happen? Right, that's what's so immature. It's like you've developed entire reason systems in your head about how relationships work based on internet discussion with very little real world experience. No, no one can predict the future. An easier, more practical solution to this is to work on yourself and try to handle the idea of a paternity test more maturely. Right now... Your solution is everyone around you bend over backwards and do everything right at all times to comfort you. Unfortunately, that's not how the world works.
/r/PurplePillDebate01/08/26 01:38 PM

Absolutely not. There's no "unless". By your logic, the woman can never bring up that subject. If they do, the relationship is over. Of course a man isn't going to ask for a paternity test unless there is something suspicious. So if the man can't breach the subject ever, then the woman can't either.
/r/PurplePillDebate01/08/26 01:32 PM

Ok, by that logic, you can never ask or approach the subject of the man committing infidelity. If you do, the relationship is over. Such crazy, ridiculous logic of people living in an internet bubble.

Get this.... You know what happens if a woman gets a paternity test? Nothing. No one knows, the world doesn't collapse, life goes on normally. People get tests every day and you don't know about it. You just get the test and work through the problem. This idea that the relationship has to end the moment a test is suggested is just some extreme conclusion you've come to in your mind that's not connected to reality.

Yes, what happens is the women gives signs of infidelity. Then men ask. Before there were signs of infidelity.... they don't feel a need for a paternity test. Get it? It's not that complicated. And let's put the shoe on the other foot. Suppose a man has a close woman friend. Recently, he's showed signs of being close to her and his wife wonders if he's cheating. People ask for paternity tests if they are unsure of fatherhood. People usually don't attempt to have a baby with someone who they feel is cheating or whatever. Japan's population has been declining for a little over 15 years.
/r/PurplePillDebate29/07/26 11:27 PM

As a counter example, Japan has had several decades now of falling working-age population, and is incredibly wealthy with an extremely high quality of life (even though the yen is under pressure currently) Absolutely not. Japan was doing super well. In the past. Now it has a shrinking economy. IT's GDP is falling and it's gone from 2nd in GDP rankings in 1990 (by a wide margin) to 4th or 5th now.

Very difficult to talk about the issues with falling fertility, because they play out over many decades, and historically even centuries. Not even close. The US stays afloat because of immigration. If it continues to be aggressively anti-immigrant the workforce will begin to dramatically shrink by 2030 and beyond.

Women are humans and humans are responsible for the economy. But why do you think someone is saying women alone are responsible for the economy. Where did you get that idea?

There’s plenty of educated people that would agree with me No, there's not. Did the US economy collapse when our population was half of what it is now? My friend, I know you think you have all the answers, but this clearly isn't something you've put much thought or research into. First off, saying the economy will collapse, doesn't mean everyone dies and the country no longer exists. It means the economy does really poorly and many of the services and expectations people have for life no longer …

There's no educated person who's looked into this subject who would agree with you. I just gave you a clear example of what happens and you have no answer. Why do you think so many people and world experts are concerned about this? Because they want to control women's bodies and keep them pregnant? No, because they're worried about what will happen to society.

There's been no time in human history when it's been this low outside of a natural or human made disaster. Let's just do a thought experiment here. 1) Say a company wants to produce products but can't do that because they can't find workers.... what happens to that company? It fails. 2) Say a government wants to upkeep roads, pay the police and firemen, deal with disasters but they can't do that because there aren't people to collect revenue from. What happens? The controversy about birth rate isn't primarily intended to make women more open minded about who they date. It's because the economy can literally collapse unless it stabilizes or improves.

Men don't have the same emotions about sex that women do. Accept they are different.
/r/PurplePillDebate29/07/26 08:38 PM

Question a woman in any way... You must be from the manosphere.
/r/PurplePillDebate29/07/26 01:14 AM

No one wrote that. It just is true that men often have a higher sex drive and often just don't care about external validation or peer pressure and are just thinking about sex more often. It's also true that the average man will be more open to a more diverse set of partners than a woman.
/r/PurplePillDebate28/07/26 05:03 PM

???? What does this have to do with the "manosphere"? Why wouldn't you wonder why a woman, or anyone, was sexually promiscuous and then decides to change that behavior?
/r/PurplePillDebate28/07/26 05:02 PM

Not really. Are you a woman, which I may assume from the Lotus name? One thing that produces continual frustration in these discussions is the refusal to accept that the opposite sex really does have different emotions and motivations. I can say for men, it usually is because their sex drive is probably higher. Women usually fight that idea because they don't want to accept men are "better" in something, even though having a higher sexual drive isn't necessarily better. Of course there is peer p…

Disagree. You dont seem to have an experienced understanding of cities, and it's not as though cities are a new concept. Smart phones, and unlimited, constant messaging is what fundamentally changed dating relationships. In addition to the attitude that you should never settle and always do what pleases you in the moment. A world of unlimited options makes everything unstable.

No, I don't think so. At some point, you seemed to realize that people can be manipulative and can manipulate others into decisions. That is true. That's not rape. If you want to make an argument someone is overall manipulating another person? ok. But if they say yes to sex, it's not rape. At some point there has to be some kind of answer. There are endless posts in this sub with people complaining about the opposite sex with absolutely no awareness of themselves. It's not that their observations are useless, it's that instead of "men" or "women", you should use the term "people".
/r/PurplePillDebate25/07/26 12:34 PM
1

Of course I do. But I also the know the odds that those same men are incredibly sensitive, amazing partners is essentially nonexistent. The same instincts that make them rebel against authority makes them not compromise, cheat, become incredibly stubborn, etc. Then women come on here and complain about how horrible men are. Then men say "why did you pick that guy?".
/r/PurplePillDebate25/07/26 02:17 AM
1

Exactly, and people don't describe "bad boys" as incredibly sensitive, amazing boyfriends. They describe them as horrible boyfriends. This has been memorialized for ages in literature and film. Agree.
/r/PurplePillDebate25/07/26 02:15 AM

A woman's idea of what a bad boy is totally irrelevant to men complaining about women selecting bad boys.

You don't understand it. And if you're talking about fan fiction.. What you describe is essentially a romance novel and not real.

It doesn't matter. Some men are complaining about the actual men women are selecting. They're predicting things won't work with those guys in the long run and saying they can see it a mile away. They call these men "bad boys. Just because you use the term to mean something different... doesn't mean what they're complaining about doesn't exist. It's like getting hit by a black car. And someone says... "No, that car was brown." Whatever color you label it.... The car still hit someone! Get it? It …
/r/PurplePillDebate24/07/26 06:17 PM

It doesn't matter what women mean by "bad boy". Men are doing the complaining.... So what we're discussing is men's definition. A women's definition is only relevant in that she understands what men.are talking about.
/r/PurplePillDebate24/07/26 06:03 PM
2

Right, but that's what men's complaint is. Women's view of a "bad boy" is completely unrealistic and when they complain things go poorly men say they could see it a mile away.
/r/PurplePillDebate24/07/26 05:54 PM
3

There are all kinds of people with all kinds of opinions. Using outlier opinions to describe the norm isn't really helpful. It seems women's idea of a "bad boy" is out of a romance novel. Attractive, rugged men who stand up to authority but are still amazingly sensitive, understanding, and perfect. When men are talking about bad boys, they are actually talking about bad men.
/r/PurplePillDebate24/07/26 05:51 PM

You're definition is out of a romance novel. Unfortunately, that's not real life.

No, you didn't date "bad boys". You just dated some guys that were nice. For some reason you think in your mind they were "bad boys", but you were young, didn't understand it, and only have the experience you have. Bad boys are actually bad people. That's why people use the word "bad". You're kind of working an uphill battle when you're trying to insist the word "bad" doesn't mean.... "bad".
/r/PurplePillDebate24/07/26 02:58 PM

Look, I don't know, it seems like you have some idolized quality of what "bad boy" means and are arguing over semantics. But how many women do you see on this sub or others arguing about how selfish and horrible men are? It's at least half the discourse. And what men are saying is that they can see that many of these men are horrible. But women are ignoring these signs and concentrating on the attractive qualities only.... That's not a radical idea, men do it as well. How many men go after the s…
/r/PurplePillDebate24/07/26 02:51 PM

I mean.... you have your definition of whatever. But when men talk about "bad boys", they're actually talking about bad people. Not men who somehow look attractive and masculine and you dream about. The main issue is that these qualities, like "making fun of fat people" are always there, women just ignore them or choose not to see them. Men aren't talking about other men who are great people, leaders, and also physically attractive as bad people. They're literally talking about bad people.
/r/PurplePillDebate24/07/26 02:39 PM
15

You're not really talking about actual bad boys. For some reason, you seem to think people who go to the gym are "bad boys". The bad boys that people are talking about actually are making fun of fat people all the time.

When you're in early 20s or younger, dating people near 30 or older is a huge maturity difference where the older person will often be able to manipulate the younger person. But if they're both 18, it's legal, so it is what it is.

Redpill is too associated with conservative men who tend to be misogynistic and sexist. These views get mixed together and people too often label anything conservative as redpill. The "pill" analogy came from the Matrix where the red pill was labeled as the truth. And at it's heart, that's what redpill is. More men are single than ever because women simply have more options, have become pickier with higher standards, and remaining single has become more socially acceptable for them. Yes, perhaps men's social skills have diminished with the development of online culture, but the same can be said of women. The whole thing just boils down to more options stemming from unlimited, easy messaging and dating apps/social media.

Unlikely based on your answer. You have little insight into how it works. Dating is completely different than even 15 years ago. An average women can simply create a dating profile in a major metro area an have a thousand men try to date her. Or create a social media profile and simply get tons of messages. So what's more likely.... Men's social skills have evaporated for no reason? Or women have gotten pickier with the enormous amount of options they have compared to 20 years ago?

The mistake you're making is just assuming every male, conservative oriented person you don't like is Red Pill. It's akin to assuming every Centrist Democrat in the US would vote and support Bernie Sanders. It's more complicated that that.
/r/PurplePillDebate11/07/26 12:13 PM

RP is a strategy for men to improve themselves based on how the world really is. It becomes intertwined with a lot of misogyny and the people who strongly espouse it can be misogynistic, but mostly, it's a self improvement strategy. A lot of people attach anything they don't like about men or conservative culture to it, like you have here. But, you greatly misunderstand it.

/r/PurplePillDebate10/07/26 10:54 PM

What actual evidence do you have that women don't care about shallow things other than that's just what you want to believe?
/r/PurplePillDebate10/07/26 10:49 PM

Apparently not since more women than ever are choosing to be single.
/r/PurplePillDebate10/07/26 10:43 PM

You're trying to convince us women prefer men to be short? ok.
/r/PurplePillDebate10/07/26 10:41 PM

Women don't really care about personality and character. In fact, I would say men care about that stuff more simply because they don't want drama. Women care about things like height and how much money a man has, while men could care less. Hard to describe men as more shallow.
/r/PurplePillDebate10/07/26 10:34 PM

As far as desire for the opposite sex.... men care about less things, that's true. Shallow is not the right word to describe the difference. Maybe even less shallow to be honest. A man will mainly care about a woman's looks. A woman cares about a man's looks, height, career, wealth, etc. Men mostly don't care about any of that.

Everything you list is your family's preference, or some religion. But families have all kinds of preferences all the time. People have to get jobs early or work on the farm, can't do certain things, etc. And sure perhaps your family treated you differently because you are a woman. That's your families choice but I am going to guess there are all kinds of things males in your family has to do that you didn't. But there are no laws for this or rules that this has to happen. How long have you been married? It's changed drastically in the last 15 years. I mean, it's really become bad. 60% of men under 30 are single now. It's not them, it's that women have unlimited choices now. In the past, a women's choices were limited to the men they were exposed to in their environment. THat's no longer the case. Any man they ever met in person or on social media can message them instantly at any time. Any average looking woman can have 5 to 10 guys texting them at all times if t…

Not really in most western, first world countries. It's drilled into women's heads they are victims and they will eternally believe it, just as most religious people become religious from their upbringing and influences. But they will struggle to give you real examples of how they're oppressed and they take for granted all the advantages they have.

This is very true. For a long time, women were significantly oppressed due to culture. That has changed to the point where they're mostly advantaged now. People will become I irate that I write that but will struggle to give an example where women don't have the same opportunity as men or are even advantaged. Totally misinformed. A couple may choose no alimony, which they should because it's based on antiquated laws, but most states have laws for alimony. For marriages under 10 years, it's usually temporary and can often be called something else, like "rehabilitative support".

Well it is simply is true that 99.9999% of a women's interactions with a man will be nonviolent. It's also not true that a women's most likely path to death is domestic violence. That's ridiculous.
/r/PurplePillDebate09/07/26 05:27 PM

Women support women more than men support men. Additionally, Reddit is largely liberal and liberal spaces tend to mute sympathetic to women and judgmental of men.

I don't think most men claim women are as violent as men. Our species evolved in a way so that men would be the protectors, and hence violent. Can you find a random man saying contrary to that? Of course you can, but that doesn't represent the majority of men. But men will say that domestic violence caused by women or the fact that men are by far the greater victims of violence compared to women, are usually disregarded as inconvenient facts by women.

/r/PurplePillDebate06/07/26 04:24 PM

Most people don't actually bother to find out what Red Pill recommends. They simply think of it as an anti-woman movement and apply any stereotype they can think of to it. It's more of a pro self improvement movement for men, than anything else. It does dive into misogyny at times, but mostly, women don't like it because it pushes men to do what's best for them, not women, and to try to see what actually matters in life for them.
/r/PurplePillDebate06/07/26 03:28 PM

/r/PurplePillDebate06/07/26 02:58 PM

No, they definitely don't, but I would agree they matter much less these days in many ways. Women are pickier than ever and influenced so much by social media and dating apps. In the past, women had limited options and simply had to pick someone who was around them. Now anyone they ever met or in a drivable distance is available to them and will try to contact them. Redpill is always misogynistic, because it’s based on reinforcing the status quo of gender roles No, you just never took the time to understand it. Your understanding of it is what feminists tell you what it is, not what Redpillers actually say. And the reason why it actually works it’s because a lot of women are misogynistic too even if they don’t realize i It works because despite what women say, what they want is a strong man, who looks good, is eager to improve, and has money.
/r/LeftWingMaleAdvocates01/07/26 03:33 PM

This isn't it really. Yes, Redpill people would say women aren't honest about what they want, but that's really a side point. The guts of Redpill are to implore men to improve by working on themselves: work out and get in better shape, try to get the best job you can, etc. The idea that it's very anti-women is an idea portrayed by women, not Redpill itself. It's more about being "pro man" than anything else and feminists naturally label that as misogynistic.

As a man, I can tell you men often just don't care about the characteristics you write. It's akin to insisting a woman is crazy because she didn't pick m…

Yeah, but it seems like most of it is fabricated, so.... And I honestly disagree with your point to begin with. If anything, it could normalize lawsuits initiated by those who are falsely accused, which is by far, men.

Not trying to be hurtful. Trying to point out that arrogantly assuming she was the logical choice is only an assumption, and takes away agency and choice from the man. She's essentially trying to justify "losing" by insisting the man she liked was acting crazy. It's such an insulting thing to write. The guy liked someone else. She just needs to accept that maturely without being insulting.

Misogyny barely exists in the US anymore. People of course will call this crazy but struggle to point out real examples where it's accepted that women can't do something or discrimination against them is accepted . Yes, in places like very rural Americ or the deep south you can find backwards people and yes sometimes there are jokes, but for the most part, it has faded away. Emotional intelligence essentially means "agree with me and be understanding" to most people. While I absolutely agree with you that you can't reason your way into a woman's heart, if something is not working, it's natural to ask questions about why something isn't working. You're being too judgemental about these men's reactions. What are they supposed to do... If he's obviously incompetent, then those women are just dumber than he is. Look at Danish Deception. Most women wouldn't fall for that scam. Women fall for fake confidence and showy men all day long, it's like catnip to them. Women, in general, are pretty poor judges of it. In the same way men fall all over themselves for a very good looking woman and don't see the other flaws and problems.
/r/PurplePillDebate26/06/26 02:42 PM

Yeah, the same thing exists with men. Men watch women fall over themselves for other men with fake confidence all the time. However, in general, women are more supportive of and stand up more for each other than men do. That's what men are referring to.

This is the entire problem with this subject. Men just want equality. Women just assume they have significant privilege and any right they give to a man is a gift that has to be earned. Women have the choice to have a baby or not, no matter what the man chooses. Men don't have that choice, but it would be nice if they did. That's it. Another crazy insight you have is a result of your own mind overreacting.

Unfortunately a man can’t decide to have a baby if the mother chooses against it? Right. Are you anti abortion but pro paper abortion? What? Reproductive equality is not the woman has zero input and control over her body while the man and her master can make all decisions for her. You're overreacting and looking for a fight from a comment you didn't understand.

I wouldn't start over as someone else. I am who I am. But if you're asking me do I think life will be easier for my son or daughter? Absolutely my daughter. Being born a woman in a first world country these days is absolutely an easier life. Studies have shown that for the average person relationships are 50% of someone's happiness and if a woman is born with at least average looks, relationships are on easy mode compared to the average man.

This is some theoretical idea in your mind that doesn't mean anything. So what happens to a child that's aborted now? Obviously, it gets no rights. You seem to be ok with that, just not when men make that decision.
/r/PurplePillDebate25/06/26 08:02 PM
1

Financial abortion as you want it doesn't make sense because it is defined that a child's mom doesn't have the right to terminate a child's rights to resources from it's father It's difficult to understand the point you're making. "terminate a child's rights to resources from it's father." What does that mean?

They might be, but that has nothing to do with what I said. They are. I mean, some of this is evolutionary psychology. Without going too deep into it, the guy women might find sexually attractive and the guy who would make for a good provider and spouse and father to her potential children...often times aren't the same guy. Who knows what you're trying to say here. The reality is you're just listing the qualities you prefer. You allowed to prefer them. But insisting that's what's good for women …

It makes perfect sense and there’s no reason to pretend otherwise No, it doesn't. The Principle that grants men the rights to a child is the same principle that obliges him responsibility towards that child. You have to pick a default; does a man automatically have rights/responsibilities or does he not Why does this matter? The Father opts in or out. That's it. If the Father does nothing, they are essentially opting in. Why are you guys making this so complicated? Furthermore, there’s no legal …

How would you define it legally ? Under what right ? What does this mean? It seems you have a lot of ideas in your head you're not flushing out. Currently, it's not the way the law works. But if it changed, a Father could opt in or out of the pregnancy. If they opt out, they have no parental or financial obligations. If they opt in, they do. I feel like you think the law has to adhere to some kind of "rights' or some thing like that. Nothing works like that. The law can simply be changed. That's…

such things can't be done in legal way just by suggesting that it's unfair for men. You'd have to define that a man doesn't have automatic obligations to a child which would also mean defining that he doesn't have automatic rights to the child either. I just feel like you're making this way too confusing for unneeded reasons. The father opts in or out during a certain timeframe. That's it. the post is for those who think financial abortion is a actual equal position. Right, I understand that, I think it's a position. It means that if men don’t have automatic financial obligations it wouldn’t make sense for them to have any automatic parental rights This doesn't make sense and is overly confusing. The father opts in or out. If they are in, they have financial obligation and parental rights. If they aren't, they have no financial obligation or parental rights.

Ok. But if you've never had it... how do you know? Also, if you have a boyfriend, why are you dating another man? Regardless, good luck. I wouldn't tell him why if you decide to cut it off.

If you measure, you measure. Just know that the average is actually between 5 and 6 inches and guys will always exaggerate. Women are notoriously bad at being able to judge it.
/r/PurplePillDebate25/06/26 05:20 PM
3

That just doesn't make any sense whatsoever. A fetus is conceived. There is a father and mother. Both have a chance to opt out of the pregnancy. If they both agree, the baby is born with two parents in the picture. If the father doesn't want to be involved, but the mother still would like to have the baby, she can, and the father isn't involved. Unfortunately, a man can't decide to have a baby if the mother chooses against it. But that's about as fair as it will ever get.
/r/PurplePillDebate25/06/26 05:17 PM
2

I'm a heterosexual man, so I don't have sex with men. But only about 5 to 15% of men have penises 6.5 inches or larger in length. Are you measuring these because men will always exaggerate. And your current date could be exaggerating, or he could be telling the truth and many of your other partners were exaggerating. I would say if you only had a few partners, ok. But if you've had a diverse amount of partners, the chance one of those prior penises was actually smaller than 6.5 is very high.
/r/PurplePillDebate25/06/26 05:12 PM
9

It sounds great but this causes a different inequality due to burden of pregnancy. It's not fair on women to expect to share their baby with a man who's only contribution is sperm. What does this mean? Because if the man is only giving their sperm and nothing else, the woman is not sharing the baby. The man is not involved. And now for you to establish a truly equal system you'd have to declare the male's parental rights to be of the mother's choice to give or not**. This can also screw over men…
/r/PurplePillDebate25/06/26 05:08 PM

It's definitely true that the reason women have so much power in the dating market these days compared the average man is because men chase women. That's always been the case, but in the past the chase was limited to men in a women's immediate area. i didn't write that. i just wrote that i've seen examples of that on another sub. so, not generalizing Yes, generalizing. What is the point of citing that point if you're not trying to use it as an example of "how men are". I see examples of women all over this sub and everywhere else saying how terrible men are. Do I get to imply women hate men? You don't get to try to generalize and then back away and say.... oh I'm not generalizing.

You have a lot of ideas in your head, that you think are related and assume other people think of them the same way you do, but people do not. That doesn't mean writing a post is unwarranted or you shouldn't be able to write out your opinion, you should, just try to be more deliberate in your writing and thoroughly explain things a little more. When multiple people, including women, are asking you... what is "The Movement"... that's a sign the writing may be uneccessarily confusing.

No, I doubt you think about it deeply. I think you essentially mean men disagreeing with you and general relationship problems.
/r/PurplePillDebate24/06/26 12:24 PM

Yes, but what that does mean? Because people use words like "toxic" to mean literally anything and mostly it simply means they have disagreements. Yes, domestic abuse happens and it's terrible. But it's not 1830 anymore. We don't live in a world where men keep women as slaves, beat them, and do whatever they want while women quietly take care of the house and the kids. Women essentially do whatever they want, whenever they want, and have a lot of advantages over men these days.
/r/PurplePillDebate24/06/26 12:05 PM

/r/PurplePillDebate24/06/26 01:54 AM

Anyone that pressures someone to cross these limits is a diabolical person Yeah, no, that never happened. Your inability to write a good answer to my question coupled with your act of sexual harassment You're simply deflecting because you don't have a good reply.
/r/PurplePillDebate24/06/26 01:45 AM

A person can define anything they want as a boundary. It simply is a preference. For instance.... I may say my "boundary" is that I won't tolerate someone who communicates with their exes. Then you may start dating someone who has been friends with an ex for 20 years. And you work out a compromise. This isn't rocket science.
/r/PurplePillDebate24/06/26 01:39 AM

This works for women under the age of 25, maybe, but after that they definitely care about reality.
/r/PurplePillDebate24/06/26 01:36 AM

Who knows what you're talking about. People in relationships have disagreements and have to make compromises to make the relationship work. Just because someone says the word "boundary", doesn't mean disagreeing with them is some kind of violation of innate human rights.
/r/PurplePillDebate24/06/26 01:12 AM

What exactly do you want me to say? When you essentially write "men love and brag about abusing women"... yes, that's blatant misandry. I've been a man my entire life, have never heard other men talk in that way. Does that mean it doesn't happen? Of course not, but generalizing some anecdotal story into a characterization of an entire class of people is a problem. If instead of "men", you were talking about minorities, that would be called racisim.

“Women being advantaged in the dating market” is not a thing Hahahaha. You need to come back to reality or find out what has been happening in the last decade. An average looking woman will go on a dating app and get a thousand men to express interest in a major metro area, where the average man may get 1/10th of that. If you want to make a point saying BMI is not completely correct, I understand your concern, but the point remains than women aren't in drastically better shape than men. They're relatively similar.

Young men don't have any super strong allegiance to the Right, it's just the only side that will hear their concerns. The Left has traditionally been aligned with disadvantaged classes - working class, immigrants, minorities, etc. And for a long time, women have been disadvantaged. But those times are gone. Women are now advantaged as they have a significant advantage in the dating market and the days of women receiving lower salaries or losing out on promotions simply for being women are long g…

The idea that women "are doing better" is not actually true. Men on average make more money and have slightly lower BMIs. More women have been graduating college but it's close, with 55% of graduates being women. And a big reason that is happening is because men have other realistic options than college - the trades - where women on average do not find it socially acceptable to become a plumber or electrician. So if you look at the percentage of men vs women finishing some kind of post high scho…

What does "attractive" mean to you? Tall? In amazing shape? Wealthy? The average man is 5'9 with a 40 inch waist and makes 70k a year. If that isn't enough, that means you're looking for an exceptional man in certain ways and to attract that man you need to be an exceptional woman compared to your peers. The other reality is men know that women who are serially single can't make relationships work.

Men complaining about women divorcing them is fact Agree men complain about women divorcing them. Why wouldn't they complain about making a decision for a lifelong commitment not working out? Abortion being illegal is facts Which happens because women vote for it to happen. An abortion ban is a restriction of a woman’s control over her body You can view that way and many people do. The problem is a lot of the people who vote for that to happen are women. If all women voted against it, it wouldn't happen. So, I am not sure how you blame men for that. Therapy. You need it.

You're just rambling. What does any of this mean? You live in a very biased, anecdotal world in your own head. You don't seem to be aware that other people experience the world differently than you do. For example, let's take one of the things you write.... "Abortion being illegal is facts". What does that mean? Are you pro-choice or pro-life? You don't explain anything. And if you're pro-choice, you seem to blame men. Why? 40 to 50% of the people who vote for stricter abortion laws are women. I…

Yeah, it's not 1950. You need to break out of the "Women are the Victims and Men are monsters" mentality to see the world how it really is. In past, men had a lot of the advantages and women understandably felt repressed and used. Now, the tables have turned and men are experiencing a part of women experienced in the past.

No... The dating is great for older men thing is a myth. More women are single than ever and are choosing to be single. It many ways it is true they have it better than much younger men, but they are still faced with a world where most average looking women have endlessly more options than them and will end relationships at a drop of a hat.

No, people aren't generally going to think it's great when one side has a gigantic advantage and gets to be pickier compared to the other side. Both men and women take their advantages for granted. For men, it can be related to safety and security. For women, at least most average women, it's attention. They will receive attention and ease with normal every activities that they completely take for granted and can't even perceive as an advantage. The gender pay gap is still very real. Gender pay gap isn't real. It exists because women choose lower paying careers and take more time off. You're going to have to elaborate on that. In 1980, it was real. Women would apply for jobs and be rejected because they were female or get offered the job at 50% of the male pay rate. Using the word "boundaries" isn't going to convince people you're not lost in the world of useless therapy speak that gives you little insight. All these words you write basically mean nothing. Here's reality: people in a relationship are in that relationship because they want to be treated a certain way and want their partner to act a certain way. If their partner doesn't... they may leave. That's it. All these words: boundaries, ultimatums, insecurity, etc are mostly useless therapy speak.
/r/PurplePillDebate24/05/26 07:44 PM

Who knows what you're talking about. The point stands. The idea that ultimatums don't exist in healthy relationships is uninformed nonsense. It's an idea largely purported by feminists used to getting their way who are trying to impose their desires on everyone else without recourse. And I say that as a lifelong liberal.
/r/PurplePillDebate24/05/26 02:34 PM

It's example to show how ridiculous your reasoning is. Every relationship has ultimatums. That's how relationships work, unless one of the partners is completely submissive.
/r/PurplePillDebate24/05/26 04:24 AM

Not really. Almost every relationship has ultimatums. If you kill someone, most people are going to stop dating you. That's an ultimatum. Relationships work on ultimatums. You can't realistically expect to do whatever you want at all times and continue to have a relationship. Honestly, most of this speak about ultimatums and "controlling behavior" is semantics used by feminists to manipulate people.

Isn't that what reddit and the general media is? It's dominated by women's perspectives. Everything you write are things we've heard thousands of times. If you're talking about having any random opinion immune to critique.... then yes, you can have that somewhere, but not on the internet.

Things have changed. Dating has never been super easy for average guys. But now it's turned up several notches because women's overall tastes have been affected by dating apps and social media and now it's more socially acceptable than ever to be alone. More people than ever are unpartnered. The marriage rate keeps falling. Absolutely... a lot of guys who say they have no options could settle for something. But it simply is true that so so many men just really don't have options.

/r/PurplePillDebate15/05/26 12:54 AM

A man can go on a dating app and get likes. We're not talking about matches, likes. How often do you hear men complain about not getting likes? All the time.

What is real? Explain what you're actually talking about? The idea that men expect women to wait on them hand and foot? Be real. If that's your point people are simply not going to take you seriously. You're living in a fantasy bubble.

Saying what's not real? What actually are you literally talking about?
/r/PurplePillDebate14/05/26 12:26 PM

Divorce is overwhelming biased against men in the courts, that's true. But in general, it's also biased against the higher earner, which usually is the man.
/r/PurplePillDebate14/05/26 12:25 PM

You need to explain this more. Agree there is culture and status involved, but if anything, that's more important to women. Not sure I understand what you mean by this reply.
/r/PurplePillDebate14/05/26 12:24 PM

Who knows what this means. You need to stop living online.
/r/PurplePillDebate14/05/26 12:22 PM

I am an older man whose lived all over the culture and I would tell you this just isn't real. Are there relationships where one spouse does more work? Definitely. But usually... this is people using anecdotal experiences and generalizations to criticize the opposite sex.
/r/PurplePillDebate14/05/26 12:18 PM

Which they should. Because the idea that most men expect women to wait on them hand and foot in developed countries is not real. Are there outliers and exceptions? Of course, just like there are for women.
/r/PurplePillDebate14/05/26 11:30 AM

Have you actually been married? If not... Maybe sit this one out.

/r/PurplePillDebate14/05/26 11:06 AM

Men benefit more from marriage because they seem to prefer married life. There really is no other objective reason men have to benefit more. Most of those studies and opions that you reference do have overwhelming bias.
/r/PurplePillDebate14/05/26 11:05 AM
3

Nice idea, women aren't going to do it. Why would they. If you want this to happen, you need to first convince men to stop pursuing women. Women have all the power with most men because men are pursuing them.
/r/PurplePillDebate12/05/26 04:56 PM
3

What is your point? Why do you keep replying?
/r/PurplePillDebate11/05/26 11:40 AM
3

I'm not sure what your point is? Obviously if a woman initiates it will be easier for the man. But we're not discussing that, were discussing what men's preferences are. Women care about so many things... confidence, social status, money, height, etc. For men... at least 75% or more of it, especially when someone is young, is whether they find that women physically attractive. They could care less about all the priorities women have.
/r/PurplePillDebate11/05/26 11:14 AM
5

The scenario you put forth doesn't matter most of the time because the majority of the time men do almost everything's in early courting anyway. Female confidence is just not something high on men's list of preferences.
/r/PurplePillDebate11/05/26 11:00 AM
5

Women, in general, have a very difficult time understanding or accepting that men are just fundamentally different romantically. There certainly are some men who would be attracted to confidence. But honestly? Most just don't care. In fact.. being more agreeable and less opinionated is a great thing for women in men's eyes.
/r/PurplePillDebate11/05/26 10:54 AM
5

Women have been programmed by social media to think everyone they don't like is a narcissist. They are programmed to break up with anyone who is "insecure", and they call any behavior they don't agree with as "dismissive."
/r/PurplePillDebate11/05/26 10:15 AM

The reason it's noteworthy is because women are very attracted to confidence in dating whereas men kinda barely care in dating circumstances.

You did dismiss my point on that issue. I stand behind that statement. But that's different than calling an entire person dismissive because you can't keep up with counterpoints. Obviously, I have been addressing every point you write, you just don't enjoy that. It is insulting. And yes, these days, as soon as someone starts labeling someone as "dismissive", you know they're being disingenuous and ignorant. It's a dead give away.

So then, why bring it up? Why bring up the fact that “it happens to men too” when you know it’s not equal?? I don't follow this conversation. Perhaps, it's me. The entire point of this exchange is to say that life is actually harder in many ways for men and a lot of things that women take for granted, like easy access to men, will be a shock to them when they are put in men's shoes. So the entire point of my answers is to insist the dating experiences aren't the same. Okay what does that have to…

Are you serious? That’s what YOU just did! No, my point is they're not equivalent. Yes men can also face stalking and harassment but it’s not equal to what women experience. I never said it was equal. In fact, every time I said women face it more. But the reality is that men face more violence overall in life. but at the same time women are stalking and sexually assaulting them all the time?? I never wrote it happens "all the time" as in at every encounter. I wrote it happens. It happens more fr…

Not really. It's just pretty insulting to have a conversation with counterpoints and hear someone say "dismissive" as soon as they don't like the outcome of the conversation.
/r/PurplePillDebate08/05/26 03:29 PM

Disagreeing and proving counter points is not "dismissing". That's naive and ignorant feminist language. People talk about issues, disagree, and provide counterpoints. "Dismissing" that your points are completely ignored, or you profess the truth that can't be disagreed with.

Men absolutely do not have the right to their own bodies all the time and men also have zero rights in pregnancies yet are forced to be legally held responsible for decision other people make. Totally fine with letting a woman do whatever she wants with a pregnancy. But you can't have that and then force the man to be financially responsible for 18 years. You can't have both. If you want men to be financially responsible, they should have a right to input on what happens to the pregnancy.

My arguments are disingenuous? Give me a break. Your entire answer is. You literally said that it would be easier as a woman because dating would be easier. Somebody responded saying that women get harassed, stalked, assaulted and abused by men they date and they have to worry about that and your response is “well that happens to men too.” Yes, men actually get stalked by women. Yes, women commit violence against men. This is real and actually happens. Does it happen to women more frequently? Of…

It's the same fucking thing for men though! Doctors do not want to perform vasectomies on 23 year olds. That's the point! Men experience similar issues and you dismiss it as irrelevant. That's the point of this entire exchange.

of course men can be harassed and assaulted but acting like that's something men worry about when dating women, to the degree that women have to worry about it when dating men, is disingenuous. like, in terms of violence, we know that men murder both men and women at way higher rates than women murder men and women so, women have to take more precautions for safety when dating. like, having the passing worry that you might get raped and murdered seems like less of a privilege than worrying wheth…

dating - yes, generally (straight cis) women do not have to do as much of the pursuing. no doubt. but men have the privilege of not worrying to the same degree about sexual harassment, stalking, and safety concerns before setting a date, not worrying about getting pregnant, if you do hook up your body count won't be used to shame you. also, sexual attention might seem like the best thing ever but when the attention is unwanted and/or the pursuer is aggressive (and larger than you because he's a …

Most men are taller than most women, so unless she has a height fetish, thats not something to mention I'm not sure where you're living, but it's a pretty universal thing these days that women obsess over height. Its not a puzzle to neurotypical people who dont have a disability when it comes to words Lolol. So ridiculous. Right, but it you agree it's both genders, then it makes no sense to make an entire post attacking men over it. You could create a post discussing the issue without blaming a specific gender. Which would honestly be better for everyone and save you a lot of criticism that you seem ultra sensitive to.
/r/PurplePillDebate05/05/26 01:20 PM

I really don't get your responses. First off, no one is preventing you from talking about anything. It has nothing to do with "allowing you to talk about a subject." You're demanding that everyone agree with you, which is an unreasonable demand.

That's my point. So do women. The point is.... this isn't specific to men. It's just people.
/r/PurplePillDebate05/05/26 12:54 PM

The point is that it's not a male or female centric thing. It's just... people. And if you make a post, you have to appreciate that people are going to reply and disagree with you.
/r/PurplePillDebate05/05/26 12:44 PM
3

I'm not sure you're making the point you think you are by doubling down the on the idea that women don't claim to not be defensive. I mean, in a way, you're essentially doing it right now with your answers to me.... Insisting somehow that men are different than women in this regard.
/r/PurplePillDebate05/05/26 11:42 AM

It's exactly the same response with women. It's how people are, in general, men or women.
/r/PurplePillDebate05/05/26 11:34 AM

You post stuff like this all the time. It shouldn't be some kind of puzzle where someone needs to speak the exact combination of words in the right order to unlock the code. Just be honest and mature. If someone asks you who or what you're attracted to... just be honest.
/r/PurplePillDebate05/05/26 02:31 AM
3

I don't think so. Men generally think that women are not honest about who they're attracted to. They think women say things like "I want a kind, intelligent, caring man who is emotionally intelligent." Which women do want, as long they also find them physically hot or they have status or whatever, and the latter is more important. Men absolutely do not think women have secret attraction to all kinds of men that they're simply repressing it.
/r/PurplePillDebate05/05/26 01:19 AM
6

What you write is so vague and unclear. You think men think women want a partner they're not attracted to? I have no idea how you get that idea.
/r/PurplePillDebate05/05/26 12:35 AM
5

That's not the perspective you want. You want to just explain yourself clearer.
/r/PurplePillDebate05/05/26 12:28 AM
2

I mean this original post. The real motive of this post is essentially to tell men any problem they face is their own fault and they deserve no empathy because of it. Can we just skip this word games and move to simply showing empathy to each other. Women really were a repressed minority for most of history. But not as much anymore. Their concerns were heard and society changed. Can we do the same with men?
/r/PurplePillDebate04/05/26 11:53 PM
3

If you're nice to men, then why do you think the comment is addressed to you? But more specifically, just recognize men are going through a difficult time and be empathetic. Instead of trying to find every reason under the sun not to be empathetic.
/r/PurplePillDebate04/05/26 11:44 PM
7

No its not. I can guarantee you 75% of people on this sub, at least, have no idea what that means. Instead of writing whatever you want, and demanding people adjust to you, how about just explain it in a simpler and clearer way? How about using some real evidence?
/r/PurplePillDebate04/05/26 11:37 PM
5

"Men have an outgroup bias" is a vague statement. All of your arguments are vague, not based on any real evidences and come off as though you're searching for a reason to justify the conclusion you want. You seem to operate from a framework where men walk into this world with a significant power advantage and that simply is not the case anymore. Just be empathetic towards men. That's it.
/r/PurplePillDebate04/05/26 11:27 PM
7

I would stop trying to create convoluted reasons in your mind why any problem men face is created by men alone and just be nice to men. It's much simpler.
/r/PurplePillDebate04/05/26 11:19 PM
6

You need to give up this idea that men think about relationships and women the way women think about men. They simply don't. Men aren't having get togethers with wives if they don't have a wife. All this social cachet stuff you're very concerned about is not something men often care about. Of course some men will, but this on average.
/r/PurplePillDebate04/05/26 01:28 AM
7

I can tell you men definitely do not compare themselves by girlfriends. Having a robot? That's a completely different story, it likely would be embarrassing for some men at first. But this whole idea of men caring about each other's girlfriends is just not a thing.
/r/PurplePillDebate03/05/26 11:36 PM
6

I think you might be exaggerating how popular this trend is, but I can definitely tell you men absolutely could not care less about the social currency of having a wife. If a man couldn't have sex with a woman, for the most part, they would never marry or date. Women can sometimes view the man they date as a form of social status, but men just fundamentally do not care about that.

Women, and some men, have tremendously more options than they did before because of social media and dating apps. Additionally, most of the message today is about indivuslism which contradicts with the reality that every relationship has problems and it takes sacrifice to make any relationship work long-term. In many ways... easier than ever to meet people, but much harder to make a relationship work long-term.

I personally am older and can talk to anyone so I don't perceive that myself. Depends on how you define romance, but this is definitely not true. I still dream about a crush from 20 years ago, and it's rarely about sex. Interesting because the heterosexual people having casual sex must have some attraction to each other. So not exactly the best analogy. Have to thoroughly disagree with this one. While I absolutely agree more women than ever are ok going childless, I've known so many women desperately doing anything to have babies in their late 30s. I've never seen the same with men. Perhaps because they don't have the same biological clock, but I still think the desire for children and families lies stronger with women.
/r/PurplePillDebate21/04/26 08:28 PM

You're literally having a conversation with yourself in your own mind.
/r/PurplePillDebate21/04/26 07:13 PM

/r/PurplePillDebate21/04/26 04:53 PM

/r/PurplePillDebate21/04/26 04:48 PM

I don't think OP is saying that. What they're saying is that the coddling when they're young is too much to enable them to succeed later in life in something like romance where no one is going to cut them a break.

Very very few men have side chicks. Like maybe 5%. That's mostly an online fantasy world. The most desirable men absolutely do run through many women and women tend to become obsessed with them and only focus on them because they are the most desirable men. But the vast majority of men could never get a side chick. You're continuing to assume men think like women and they simply don't. They don't think about women or dating to anywhere near as complex a way that women do.

What you write is true, but my point is when a couple divorces it's almost always likely to be the women who initiates, especially if she has a college degree. The divorce rate has fallen overall too, but by a small percentage, and mostly because drastically less people are marrying now.
/r/PurplePillDebate10/04/26 02:04 AM

I have no idea what your point is. Regardless, relationships just are more unstable. Some people love having more options and moving onto something else more easily when things don't work. Some people don't.
/r/PurplePillDebate10/04/26 12:31 AM

There's nothing to disagree with, we're saying the same thing. I agree, people now often have more options. But that does make them less stable in the long-run, unfortunately.
/r/PurplePillDebate09/04/26 11:57 PM

Yeah, describe it however you want, but relationships are just much less stable than they were in the past.
/r/PurplePillDebate09/04/26 11:38 PM

The reality is the reality. 60 to 70% of divorces are initiated by women and that number jumps to nearly 90% when both people in the couple have a college degree. The divorce rate has ticked down slightly, but mostly because drastically less people are getting married than 50 years ago.
/r/PurplePillDebate09/04/26 11:28 PM

This post does take it too far, but he is correct in that most women who are at least average have their cake and eat it too. The dating world has drastically changed in the last 20 years and I am eager to see what the long-term trends will show as far as relationship stability. Finding someone with aim of building a stable, long-term relationship that won't be abandoned the moment things get difficult or something better comes along seems to be becoming rare.
/r/PurplePillDebate09/04/26 11:14 PM

This has to be one of the most ridiculous things I've read on this sub.
/r/PurplePillDebate09/04/26 01:58 AM
3

Situationships and side relationships are completely out of control these days. I will be interested to see how it affects data for the success of long-term relationships in the future.
/r/PurplePillDebate08/04/26 11:51 PM
2

This is a ridiculous conversation. No one would choose to have less options in dating. So dumb.
/r/PurplePillDebate07/04/26 06:37 PM
2

It absolutely is. The chances are not equivalent. That is nonsensical.
/r/PurplePillDebate07/04/26 05:55 PM
2

Very hard to understand your point but it seems like you're implying the person with the cup has it easiest because they don't have to sort through as many options but what you're incorrectly assuming is that there has to be a diamond in there. In real life, people just get what they get. They don't have to get a diamond ever presented to them and when you only have a cup, you have a much lower chance of ever finding a diamond.
/r/PurplePillDebate07/04/26 03:17 PM

Because it's one of the few subs discussing dating and relationships that won't automatically ban you if you present a man's perspective.
/r/PurplePillDebate06/04/26 09:36 PM
11

We have to stop this trend of accepting the idea that "too many options" is a huge con for women. Like... I'm sorry you have to spend time to go through your options and decide, but the entire reason dating is a much more pleasant experience for women is because they have so many options. If they didn't, they would be all over this sub screaming how unfair dating is.
/r/PurplePillDebate06/04/26 09:21 PM
-2

Oh yeah, most women do absolutely nothing.
/r/PurplePillDebate06/04/26 09:16 PM

That's a small percentage of men. Mosten don't have those options.
/r/PurplePillDebate06/04/26 05:39 PM
4

Great... back to "you don't understand my point". Such a fruitful conversation and not a complete waste of everyone's time /s. And in your mind somehow it's not ok to discuss women.in general, but your entire post discussed men.in general. Just trying to point out your hypocrisy and lack of self reflection. But I know... You'll tell me I really don't understand your point. Believe us, we all know you will write that.
/r/PurplePillDebate06/04/26 03:11 PM
1

Do you think women don't defend women with essentially the same explanation? Because.... they do. Or do you think women aren't human beings and the men are to.blame for everything?
/r/PurplePillDebate06/04/26 03:02 PM
5

Instead of replying 5 times with a paragraph each time, wouldn't a more effective use of your time be to try to explain it? Tell me what I am.getting wrong and what you mean?
/r/PurplePillDebate06/04/26 02:21 PM
7

Well, it's difficult to have a conversation when you can't explain it well and just always say "that's not my point.'
/r/PurplePillDebate06/04/26 01:41 PM
3

Yeah, I think the problem is that you're taking generalizations and conflating them with some kind of universal truth. When people make those points, they're talking about what usually is the case. Every individual situation is different and unique things can happen in any situation. But in general, it is true that attraction will motivate men. It's the same for women and that generalization is cited continually in this sub for things women do to men. Men aren't required to be the amazing partne…
/r/PurplePillDebate06/04/26 12:03 PM
6

Then please explain it. Because it sounds to me as though you're saying you're frustrated with the idea men will put effort in when they're motivated enough by attraction. Which is likely true. But there are so many posts in this sub and others with men complaining about how hard dating is for them and the answer from women is always something along the lines of "well, you can't fake attraction." Not sure how that's different.
/r/PurplePillDebate06/04/26 11:54 AM
3

There are endless posts in this sub talking about "women are attracted to who they're attracted to" and "you can't fake attraction for women". I understand this point, but I don't understand why you think it should be different for men.
/r/PurplePillDebate06/04/26 11:40 AM
1

They're good looking or they feel they're hot for some reason.
/r/PurplePillDebate05/04/26 08:56 PM
0

Mostly. It's definitely true that for most women if a guy hot enough in their mind comes along they will change things in their life for them. However, the issue is that a lot of women can't attract a guy like this. So for the guys they can land... they may not be as attracted to them... and other factors may come into play to make the relationship work.
/r/PurplePillDebate05/04/26 07:34 PM
5

First off, flat chested women and women with no ass never have problems attracting men. Obese women? You're right, that's a factor. But you're misunderstanding the point. The point isn't criticizing women for caring about height, she was trying to make the point that height isn't relevant. Which is obviously a significant exaggeration.
/r/PurplePillDebate05/04/26 03:55 PM
2

Not sure what that means, but if you're trying to convince us women don't have a strong preference for tall men.... you're basically making an impossible argument to defend. Notice I'm not saying short men never date or are in relationships, I'm saying tall men have a large advantage in dating, which they do.
/r/PurplePillDebate05/04/26 02:51 PM
2

When women start to regularly date short men and show no preference for height, people will stop talking about height.
/r/PurplePillDebate05/04/26 01:43 PM
15

There are a ton of posts in this sub from women complaining about men who show absolutely no self reflection.
/r/PurplePillDebate05/04/26 01:42 PM
2

Oh this is definitely true. I just find it ironic that a woman is complaining about men being boring when most of them watch their shows and maybe go the gym. Finding one that reads or has a real hobby can be difficult, although they usually do read more than men.
/r/PurplePillDebate04/04/26 10:11 PM

Any objective woman would agree. I honestly, myself, don't know a woman who was a victim of domestic violence. I'm sure it has happened and they don't talk about it, but it also happens to men all the time as well and that's usually completely ignored. In the US the stats are roughly 1 in 4 women will experience domestic violence in their lifetime but that has also been trending down. And I'm not suggesting men should get any awards or anything of the sort. But it really is true that most men ca…

No one's forcing your hand to connect yourself to men. There are definitely bad apples out there and there is no excuse for domestic violence. But almost any man can physically do whatever they want to any woman. That's just the truth. And the fact that doesn't happen endlessly to every woman is a testament that most men are good guys.
/r/PurplePillDebate04/04/26 02:01 PM

Most women are incredibly boring. I'm not saying men aren't... but I'm not sure why you think women aren't.
/r/PurplePillDebate04/04/26 01:33 AM

Yeah, that's homophobia.
/r/PurplePillDebate02/04/26 01:19 AM

I know so so many women who are huge "allies of LGTBQ!" that run anytime they hear a man is bisexual.
/r/PurplePillDebate02/04/26 01:18 AM

Homophobic women aren't dating bisexual men. Most women, period, don't enjoy dating bisexual men.
/r/PurplePillDebate01/04/26 11:40 PM

Super common among women. "LGTBQ Ally!" Won't date bi guys.

Adorer and the Adored. It works more smoothly when the person who usually has more options (often the woman), is the Adorer in the relationship.

You don't have to date or do anything with men. Obviously, for the women who do date men, they do think men bring things to the table.

Deal breaker for what? Dating? I don't think Red Pill only date virgins.
/r/PurplePillDebate31/03/26 12:46 AM

Not really. There are a population of very desired men who run through women as you describe. They are probably the worst actors in the dating market today. But the majority of men are simply looking for a long-term relationship just like you. But you seem to just be interested in these most desirable men.
/r/PurplePillDebate31/03/26 12:34 AM

And? Can't two people who want to have sex have sex? Are you saying the man essentially has to pay to deserve sex?

I definitely don't see men promoting age Gap relationships, I often see women selecting older men because they have more resources and are more mature.

For men, dating is like finding water in a desert. For women, it's like deciding on healthy food in a grocery store.
/r/PurplePillDebate29/03/26 10:04 AM
1

Unlikely. Most women, at any age, are in a relationship. That percentage is much lower for men.
/r/PurplePillDebate28/03/26 11:27 PM

It's a function of that fact that the ratio of men to women on the app is 5:1 and women usually don't have to do anything, the men pursue them.

1

You just don't know.
/r/PurplePillDebate28/03/26 11:26 PM

The fact that when an average woman goes on a dating app she literally has hundreds of men to choose from for a match and an average man might have 3 women? Yeah, that advantage.
/r/PurplePillDebate28/03/26 11:26 PM
2

Not even close. They'll get 2 that likely turn into nothing. For a man... It's like finding water in a desert. For a woman, it's like searching for health food in a grocery store.
/r/PurplePillDebate28/03/26 08:49 PM

I used think very much along the feminist lines. I was a man who married and everything worked out for me. Then I divorced, went back into the dating market, and saw how radically different it is than 20 years ago. My goodness does the average guy have it very difficult these days in dating.
/r/PurplePillDebate28/03/26 08:15 PM

As a man, it can be very frustrating posting in most subreddits about dating. You essentially have to defer to women's viewpoint at all times or you will get banned because Reddit is so liberal and womens' viewpoint dominates Liberal culture. Or least it doesn't want to admit it because traditionally Liberal cultures favored t…

I'm pretty sure this isn't a surprise, this is what everyone thinks. The very top men who are heavily desired get what they want, outside of that most men barely get any attention whatsoever. Men know this.

How the hell is that “alpha”? Because he has sex with whomever he wants. This really isn't that difficult.
/r/PurplePillDebate26/03/26 11:01 PM
1

This a pointless conversation where you just keep writing the same thing.
/r/PurplePillDebate26/03/26 10:51 PM
2

That’s like saying if a guy who’s throwing more money at the stripper eventually she’s gonna like him. No, this is about a LOT of money. Lifestyle money that enables the guy to select any woman he wants.
/r/PurplePillDebate26/03/26 10:45 PM
1

Hard to follow your reasoning. None of this matters. What matters is does the guy get to select the woman he wants. That's pretty much it.
/r/PurplePillDebate26/03/26 10:44 PM
2

Because it's a hypothetical Right, but anyone can be cheated on. So I am not sure it's super useful. So pinballing between a bunch of trophy women that aren't attracted to him and are using him for resources? That's all alpha? You can literally make this argument about any guy. It's not useful. The way to think about it is does this guy get to select the woman he wants, or is he settled for?
/r/PurplePillDebate26/03/26 10:00 PM
2

Why does she have to cheat? What does that have to with it? But yeah, he is. Because he'll just get another trophy wife after her.
/r/PurplePillDebate26/03/26 09:50 PM
-1

Yeah, but you can make that same argument about any characteristic. Height doesn't really translate into anything tangible in the real world, it's just a characteristic that is preferred. So is a ton of money. It's not Beta Bucks because the guy is not a Beta. The guy has so much money he gets the top women. He selects the women he wants, he's not settled for. That's the most important part. How many times have you seen a model with a random super rich guy who looks average. It's that.
/r/PurplePillDebate26/03/26 09:40 PM
-1

Very difficult to understand what you mean here.
/r/PurplePillDebate26/03/26 09:20 PM
5

Men don't intend to date only the top 20%, they're much more open to dating a range of women than women select with men. You also misunderstand the theory. A man can be an Alpha if the make a TON of money. The "Beta Bucks" concept is more of a stable man. Additionally, it doesn't dictate that women can't be attracted to a "Beta Bucks" guy, it's more about what they have heightened carnal desire for.
/r/PurplePillDebate26/03/26 09:13 PM

People change and do what they want. There are no hard and fast rules. Sometimes people look at things with another perspective after a break.

"Boundaries" is useless therapy speak.
/r/PurplePillDebate25/03/26 08:53 AM

Reading these posts is ridiculous. "Oh it is easier for women to get sex" and "Men don't have to sift through many choices!" Why is it so difficult for people just accept dating is more difficult for men?
/r/PurplePillDebate24/03/26 01:00 PM

I feel like women are saying that, not the manosphere.
/r/PurplePillDebate23/03/26 07:04 PM
1

How can you make a premise that men are as picky as women when in the next sentence you admit they have lower standards? Having lower standards doesn't mean they have no standards or aren't picky about anything.
/r/PurplePillDebate23/03/26 03:44 PM

Me, personally, I am not advocating anything. I am just explaining the reasoning. Dating apps are almost pointless for a normal man though, that is true.
/r/PurplePillDebate22/03/26 10:09 PM

Because men outnumber women on dating apps 5:1. A normal woman can have hundreds of likes on a dating app, whereas a normal man can often get just one match a year. People advocate a cold approach because dating apps are exceptionally hard for normal men and the chance of success is low. The reverse is true for a normal woman.
/r/PurplePillDebate22/03/26 08:19 PM

My friend you are just proving his point. So much of Leftist culture over the last decade takes the attitude that you can't criticize women about their weight but you just openly do it for men? The irony. And I write this as a liberal myself.
/r/PurplePillDebate22/03/26 11:16 AM

Men don't care. If they really like you, they don't care what you do.

So no Perhaps no, you can't stop yourself from overusing the term narcissist? You don't need to say it. We all know from the obsession in your writing. Anyone can look up what the definition of narcissistic personality disorder is. I don't need to present a link. And then you'll take one aspect of the definition and try to fit into your label not recognozing that it's describing something much more extreme than what you're describing above. The reality is... there's a low chance you've even met …
/r/PurplePillDebate20/03/26 07:31 PM
1

Perhaps someday you'll mature to the idea that you can talk about how people operate in relationships and breakups without overusing the term "narcissist". You can write about all the same ideas without using such an extreme label that is almost assuredly incorrect because prevalence of the disorder is rare.
/r/PurplePillDebate20/03/26 07:24 PM
1

Almost nothing you wrote is particular to narcissistic personality disorder. You simply described most people when they talk about their relationships ending and going from relationship to relationship.
/r/PurplePillDebate20/03/26 07:13 PM
1

80 million people (I see you've backed off from 800 million, lol) in the WORLD. So yes, no matter how you fucking want to describe it, it's roughly 1 in 100. Most people don't even have 100 people in their lives.
/r/PurplePillDebate20/03/26 07:07 PM
2

I don’t think there’s anything else I need to say about this conversation. Lol, are you arguing narcissistic personality disorder isn't exceedingly rare? Lol, good luck with that.
/r/PurplePillDebate20/03/26 07:00 PM
2

Don't need a link for facts. The vast majority of people you meet are not narcissists. Everyone has their own perspectives on their relationship and justify their own actions. That's just how the world works. The people who are really aware of themselves and open to different perspectives make relationships work.
/r/PurplePillDebate20/03/26 06:09 PM
1

Because what you described isn't narcissism. People can be selfish, unaware, and self centered. That doesn't mean they're narcissists. Only about 1 in every hundred people you meet will be a narcissist.
/r/PurplePillDebate20/03/26 05:54 PM

Narcissistic personality disorder encompasses about 1% of the population. Too many people label other people as narcissists.
/r/PurplePillDebate20/03/26 04:18 PM

Right my friend, but the problem is... they're more likely to cheat. People don't complain about relationships with slutty people (men or women) simply because they like to have sex.

It really doesn't matter if you use the word "market" or not.
/r/PurplePillDebate18/03/26 11:49 PM

The last 15 to 20 years have radically changed dating and the romance world. Prior to that, you would have to see someone in person or call them on a phone connected to the wall to get in touch with them. It wasn't easy. Now, anyone can fire off a message without barriers, instantly. In general, women benefit from this new world more than men because men pursue women. This post is so vague it's difficult to have a specific debate. But the complaint from men is that women say they will want a "good, kind man", which they do. But what they really want is an attractive man, in shape, tall or at least taller than them, who has a good potential career.... If he had all that, then they prefer kind. Men complain that women leave out the most important parts to seem less shallow.
/r/PurplePillDebate15/03/26 01:06 PM

What if dating and having a family makes them happy?
/r/PurplePillDebate14/03/26 01:44 PM

How exactly do you suggest a man finds that out without actually trying to find that out? Because you know... approaching a woman gives you that answer and it's a hell of a lot easier, faster, and more effective than spending a month around her trying to decipher subtle clues.
/r/PurplePillDebate14/03/26 11:49 AM

No, but we're not talking about what they're not attracted to. We're talking about what they are attracted to. And what they're attracted to is a fit man, tall (or at least taller than them), intelligent, confident, funny, with a promising career/future. But they don't say that. They often say "kindness" because they don't want to seem shallow.

You change what you write every sentence, so of course people don't understand it. When it's that difficult to understand... It's on you to explain it more accurately. But what do you think is more likely to be true... Some random guy on Reddit writes some truth about dating that no one has ever considered before and really is revolutionary, or.... These are just some ideas that are new to him and he doesn't really understand how other people view the world.
/r/PurplePillDebate12/03/26 04:44 PM

There is absolutely nothing original about anything you've written that I've read. I think "they're new to you" over the years and you've made the common mistake assuming that this is groundbreaking information for everyone when in fact, you're just describing your own journey and not realizing that other people already understand this and it's in fact taken for granted by most people.
/r/PurplePillDebate12/03/26 04:18 PM

I'm not reading again. It's very difficult to understand your ideas. When it's difficult to understand, it's on you for communicating it poorly.
/r/PurplePillDebate12/03/26 03:56 PM

The gist of you ideas is to really try to get to know someone. There's nothing in red pill that says you can't do that. I am not even a red pill person, I just find people on here are over critical of some of the ideology here.
/r/PurplePillDebate12/03/26 03:42 PM
1

No, it's the exact opposite of what you propose. You insist it has to be a methodology where you make some shallow, extremely brief approach and then move onto the next woman immediately if it doesn't work. That's a bias you have in your mind. It really doesn't advocate that.
/r/PurplePillDebate12/03/26 03:10 PM

I honestly don't know what the point of these posts are. The issue Men have with these things is that women aren't honest when they talk about what they want in a man. Instead of talking about what they actually want, they talk about what they want people to think they prioritize. All this language is semantics and not relevant. You write this as though Red Pill encourages you to not even try with a woman who feels you're a 9. Which is the opposite of what it advocates. It advocates to engage with as many women as possible to increase your chances of success. Anything can happen on an individual basis. But much of the red pill rules apply to the majority. Most women prefer men taller than them. Some don't care. If you find one that doesn't care, that doesn't mean that every woman doesn't care and a very short man's lack of success doesn't have to do with his height.
/r/PurplePillDebate11/03/26 11:52 PM

Why do you believe it was only the men?
/r/PurplePillDebate11/03/26 10:55 PM

Most of those guys are wasting both of our time and effort. That comment had nothing to do with women getting unwanted attention. Ur missing the first step. They were attracted to him and wanted his attention and reciprocated his attention. You're completely joking right? You think women begin this process? If women had to take ownership of the process 75% of women would never date.
/r/PurplePillDebate11/03/26 08:07 PM
1

Right, but being "kind" isn't even close to the number 1 criteria for most women. Women want a man who they are attracted to. A man they feel they can provide for them or won't at least they won't have to provide for. When a man meets those criteria... then they care about the man being kind. If they don't meet that criteria, they won't even be considered.
/r/PurplePillDebate11/03/26 08:04 PM
2

Because most guys understand that these women are talking about the general population, and most people aren't obese and jobless. And guys also understand they also dont want an obese bum. No, really, they don't. Many actually think that "being kind" is the number one criteria, and it simply isn't. They're just asking women to be honest. It's not that hard. And let's be honest... women don't want to say those things because they don't want to seem shallow. But it causes confusion.
/r/PurplePillDebate11/03/26 07:46 PM

Right, dating is just a much easier process for women.
/r/PurplePillDebate11/03/26 07:34 PM
2

Your attitude is simply to refute everything and insist your team, "women", are blameless or justified. Not sure what the point of having a conversation like that is. The point isn't that women or men have standards. They're allowed to. The point is that when ask women what they want... they often don't mention any of these standards and just say "they want someone kind and dedicated." Which is frustrating for men.
/r/PurplePillDebate11/03/26 07:30 PM

You guys are confusing wants with requirements This doesn't mean anything. Of course it's all a spectrum and very few people get everything they want. Correction: I think what men get frustrated with is the fact that women THEY DESIRE obviously desire some materialistic things like looks and money for relationships. No, so many girls have standards about height, obesity, income, etc and they consider those factors first when dating. If someone is super short or obese or has no career, etc, they …

There are a lot of inconsistencies in this post. But in general, I agree women care less about morals and good behavior for sex. But in relationships.... they want the morals and kindness... with someone who is hot and can provide. They just want it all in relationships. I think what men get frustrated with is the fact that women obviously desire some materialistic things like looks and money for relationships but they often don't mention those things when in reality they are the most important …

/r/PurplePillDebate11/03/26 12:59 PM

Very few women ever ask a man out. Yet, most women date and enter into relationships. How? They get attention from men, which is more attention than the average man will ever get in his life. Women just take this for granted and complain they don't get attention from the top men they want.

Right. No one is saying people can't do whatever they want. They're complaining about women having too high standards and nothing working out for them.
/r/PurplePillDebate08/03/26 03:37 PM
17

Not sure what the point is. Women can do whatever they want. But what they can't do is have very high standards and then have their complaints be taken seriously if nothing works out for them.
/r/PurplePillDebate08/03/26 03:32 PM

Women barely care. They kind of.. maybe care... if it's in a guy they're already attracted to. But physically attracting them and being nice to them specifically is 95% of the attraction for women. Women tend to go on and on about Blue Pill stuff when they just left a failed relationship and are looking for qualities to sustain a relationship, but it usually doesn't last, they usually end up prioritizing the physically attractive men anyway.

Seriously, no one needs a lecture from you on how you can interpret statistics in various ways. Give us a break and spare us your arrogance. No, statistics do mean a lot. If you cite the murder rate in a city... of course that doesn't tell you why or how those murders are happening, but a high murder rate certainly is meaningful, no matter the cause. You need to become an adult, stop lecturing people, and accept the statistic. Stop creating some imaginary argument about men fighting for kids tha…

Yeah, the problem with that line of thinking is that most people have very little insight into relationships or emotional intelligence. Things are going to go wrong in every relationship, that's a given. So it can be hard to know if this is something you should destroy a family over or try to fix it.
/r/PurplePillDebate06/03/26 04:41 PM

We're not discussing men fighting for custody. Why do feel you need to bring this up? Can you just stick to the topic. Deflecting. I don't know the data on men fighting for custody. And if you say that's the number... ok. We're not discussing that. Why are you bringing that up? We know why. Because it's not an objective conversation about data. It's you defending your team.
/r/PurplePillDebate06/03/26 04:37 PM

No, the statistics aren't meaningless. They show that women chose to leave marriages at very high rates compared to men. Now do you want to say they have reason to leave? They might, but we don't know. But we do know they choose to leave. You need to accept that.
/r/PurplePillDebate06/03/26 04:33 PM

Right, the men rarely leave, or at least compared to women. The women choose to give up and leave, in general. Of course every case is it's own situation.

Lol, have you? Why do you decide the men are at fault? You have no evidence and don't know a thing. You're simply exposing your bias. I'm not making grand inferences here, I'm just stating facts. You don't seem to have the maturity to handle the facts.
/r/PurplePillDebate06/03/26 04:20 PM

Right, but that's not what happens. Those numbers represent women choosing to leave. 15% of the time men leave, in general. When they're both college educated, the men essentially never leave. It's like 5% of the time.

Right, women choose to leave marriages at a very high rate. For college educated couples, if they divorce, 90% of the time, the woman will initiate the divorce.
/r/PurplePillDebate06/03/26 12:21 PM

This actually isn't correct. Lesbians divorce at a lower rate than heterosexual couples. It's just that divorce rates between gay men is VERY low compared to heterosexual couples, so most divorces among same sex couples are from lesbian marriages. But their rate is lower than heterosexual couples.

Shocking that a woman would write a post biased towards a woman's perspective and blaming men. We have truly never seen that before.

The moment you reply with "typical male reaction".... most educated people aren't going to take you seriously. You should stop letting yourself get so animated about the gender wars and simply look at the science and facts. Stop looking at the situation like you're rooting for a team.
/r/PurplePillDebate27/02/26 12:43 PM

"Women have larger in group bias but that doesn't matter, because men have in group bias." If that attitude doesn't describe the current feminist movement... I don't know what does. Faced with scientific evidence and conclude it doesn't matter.

to read that guys here have admitted that they want validation through sex to feel like they're own the same level as Chad You don't understand what you're writing. Do men sometimes brag to each other about having sex? Yes. Is that the primary reason they are seeking out sex? No. People need transportation, so they get cars. Do people sometimes brag about their car? Of course. Is that the primary reason they have a car? No. But please.... as a woman who is not a man, tell us what men really thin…

No, they absolutely do not have sex for validation. You make the fundamental mistake that many women similar to you make.... assuming men feel and desire sex in the same way you do. They don't. The average man has a much higher sex drive than the average woman. Why does someone eat a cheeseburger? Because they want validation? Or they desire the taste the cheeseburger gives them. Obviously the latter. Men think about sex in the same way.

Keep pivoting to what?
/r/PurplePillDebate13/02/26 04:42 PM
1

I am saying men claim they want relationship AND sex, but actually they want just sex and tolerate the relationship because that’s the only way they can get sex Men could just go to prostitutes if what you say is true. You just seem to hate men and have an extremely immature and unsophisticated view of relationships.
/r/PurplePillDebate13/02/26 03:55 PM
1

I honestly believe that men think if a woman fucks them They don't, give us a break. Men have a much higher sex drive. They just do. Women don't want to accept that, but it is the truth. Which is why men are willing to both have meaningless sex and feel it's an integral part of a real romantic relationship.
/r/PurplePillDebate13/02/26 03:42 PM
3

You don't have to have it.... do what you want. Men don't care.
/r/PurplePillDebate13/02/26 03:39 PM
2

Right, but they don't care about your opinion either. Most sexless relationships fail. That just is the truth.
/r/PurplePillDebate13/02/26 03:36 PM
1

What is your allergy to the importance of sex? Why do you hate sex?
/r/PurplePillDebate13/02/26 02:56 PM
1

Perhaps people are lonely and sexually frustrated? But usually, there is a level of intimacy with sexual relationships that are not achieved with other relationships.
/r/PurplePillDebate13/02/26 02:48 PM
3

Because it’s very clear that you guys just see relationships as exclusive fuck buddies You have a simplistic view of relationships. You're allowed to think the non sexual parts of a relationship and the sexual parts are important. Because they both are.
/r/PurplePillDebate13/02/26 02:46 PM
4

Your entire post seems to be motivated to invalidate the importance of sex. But if someone brings up sex to talk about the importance of it.... you use that as point of contention to assert that all men want to talk about is sex. Seems like a useless conversation, no? If you want to invalidate the importance of sex, you have to let people actually discuss the topic. Sitting here and declaring "LOVE is all that matters" is a pretty naive statement not based on real world experience, imo.
/r/PurplePillDebate13/02/26 02:39 PM
2

Sex seems to be meaningless to you. That's fine. But you have to understand, to most of the world, it's overwhelmingly important. You can't simply declare the rest of the world wrong because of your personal preference. But the point stands that most sexless romantic relationships eventually fail.
/r/PurplePillDebate13/02/26 02:23 PM
5

Right, I don't believe you're correct. Most sexless relationships eventually fail unless people age out of physical intimacy together. But you're welcome to believe what you want.
/r/PurplePillDebate13/02/26 02:07 PM
7

You can live however way you want... you don't have to justify it to anyone. But physical intimacy is a big deal, especially to men, and yes, it usually is accompanied by a closeness that can be unavailable otherwise.
/r/PurplePillDebate13/02/26 01:55 PM
1

Come on, you're being ridiculous.
/r/PurplePillDebate11/02/26 02:56 PM

Why are you commenting on this post and refuting OP? According to you, it's fine for them to be judgemental.
/r/PurplePillDebate11/02/26 02:50 PM

Then what are you complaining about?
/r/PurplePillDebate11/02/26 12:46 PM

Ok, then don't complain about it. If you can judge them, then other people can judge you.
/r/PurplePillDebate10/02/26 09:57 PM
-4

Not sure I follow any of your points. You're allowed say black and white people intermarrying is ok. But if you're unwilling to marry or date a black person because of social beliefs... well, a lot of people would call you racist. And even if it's not racist, it's something that aint great.
/r/PurplePillDebate10/02/26 09:36 PM
4

Right. So it's ok for a man not to want a bisexual wife, a wife with a lot of former sexual partners, or a wife that doesn't believe in doing all the housework.
/r/PurplePillDebate10/02/26 09:34 PM
-4

while i personally have no issues with that, believing that someone has a right to live as they wish and wanting that for myself is two different matters. It's actually very male way to think, like if it's not useful to you, then it shouldn't be. Nah, it's just pretty hypocritical. It's like America pre-civil rights in the 1960s. "Separate but equal". We believe African Americans should have equal rights... we just don't want those rights to integrate with ours.
/r/PurplePillDebate10/02/26 07:57 PM
0

This is all true. I've encountered so so many woman who are pro LGBTQ but would never date a bisexual man.
/r/PurplePillDebate10/02/26 07:54 PM

No, but women complain about those things all the time, like you are now, so why is your team the only one that gets to complain?
/r/PurplePillDebate06/02/26 11:15 PM

Which is what exact point?

I have, you just argue to argue. Not intelligent.
/r/PurplePillDebate03/02/26 03:14 PM

Who knows what you're saying. It changes based on your response. On one hand you say it can't be joking, and then on another hand you say men don't go around pushing sex with minors. So what are you saying?
/r/PurplePillDebate03/02/26 03:00 PM
1

I know that men don't going around pushing sex with minors. But you seem to ignore that fact.
/r/PurplePillDebate03/02/26 02:14 PM
2

I'm not ridiculous like you seem to be acting.
/r/PurplePillDebate03/02/26 02:05 PM
2

Right, because only women are against adults having sex with children Those people are joking and not taking it seriously. You may not agree with them, and that's fine. But you're trying purport this idea that most men support sex with children and you're being dishonest.
/r/PurplePillDebate03/02/26 01:51 PM
1

You seem like a woman the way you are writing this. Yes, men naturally just desire sex a lot. I'm not sure you're going to win any arguments trying to convince people men don't naturally love sex.
/r/PurplePillDebate03/02/26 01:12 PM

Yes, "we" are. You may be different, but most men just naturally desire sex a lot.
/r/PurplePillDebate03/02/26 10:43 AM

Communicating like an uneducated child.
/r/PurplePillDebate01/02/26 03:37 PM

Bud, you communicate and understand deep concepts like you're a 13 year old boy. Give us a break.
/r/PurplePillDebate01/02/26 03:16 PM

The big difference is that you're doing it for another person that you are trying to impress. Would anyone say making a presentation at work is easy? Most people wouldn't say that. But why not according to your reasoning? You're just talking about the stuff you know and do everyday? If it were so easy... men wouldn't be expected to do it all the time.
/r/PurplePillDebate01/02/26 03:02 PM

Posting this stuff isn't going to help you. If you want to communicate... clearly write what you mean.
/r/PurplePillDebate01/02/26 03:01 PM

Vague words don't mean anything.
/r/PurplePillDebate01/02/26 02:52 PM

Have a little more empathy for men might take you a lot further.
/r/PurplePillDebate01/02/26 02:52 PM

So you're saying you don't do it for dates. Why don't you try? Regardless, you don't need to understand it. Just know men aren't really that interested in women other than for romance. So if there is not going to be romance, why do all that work? It's not that complicated. For some reason you think men should do all this for women just because you exist, even though you don't think you should do it for men.
/r/PurplePillDebate01/02/26 02:44 PM

Who knows what this means.
/r/PurplePillDebate01/02/26 02:41 PM

Until you do it all the time, it's hard to really understand it.
/r/PurplePillDebate01/02/26 02:09 PM

Most women expect men to pay and plan everything. It's not easy. And most men wouldn't be friends with most women if there was no chance of romance.
/r/PurplePillDebate01/02/26 01:54 PM

that society and female nature is against you and lying to/exploiting you Nope, you totally misunderstand it. The "truth" that it's referring to is that fact that women may say they want a kind, good natured guy and they do... but what they don't tell you is they want a kind, good natured guy who is very attractive and has his shit together. So Red Pill tells you to ignore all the false advice women give out and concentrate on the things OP wrote above.

Definitely not.
/r/PurplePillDebate22/01/26 02:25 AM

Divorce rates are actually declining in the US. But less people get married. Mostly though, birth rates decline in developed nations because women have more options than they did in the past. They are prioritizing education and career, but because they only have a finite window to have children, it leaves less opportunity and time to have kids.

Both Blue Pill and Red Pill seem to give their own side the benefit of the doubt. Red Pill, unfortunately, creeps into misogyny but a lot of the advice to attract women is spot on. There's nothing in Red Pill to say you can't go on fun dates about shared interests. You have an exaggerated view of what it is. Blue Pill is just doing whatever feminists want. 20% is 7 percentage points greater than 13% You're talking about a relative increase, which is misleading. People usually use absolute changes if they are being honest. For example, if there is a 1% risk of getting a side effect from one medication, and a 2% risk from another medication, you could say the original medication has 50% less risk, but it's misleading. This is 100% accurate. I would say every relationship is different with different power dynamics. If it's a relationship where the woman desires the man more than vice versa, this dynamic could not exist or even be reversed. But women themselves have been completely conditioned to believe this. Yeah, that's not what this post is about. It's about how men handle and think about sex when they fail getting what they want. I personally disagree with OP. People exaggerate on the internet. Both men and women. They write or say what they feel would look good or is the right thing, but don't necessarily follow those ideals in real life.
/r/PurplePillDebate29/10/25 06:06 PM

With teenagers or people in their early 20s... they're simply not mature enough to have a relationship with a person near 30 or older. That older person will be able to manipulate the relationship and them in most cases. But, it's legal, and people can do whatever they want to do at the end of the day. Once both people are near or older than 30, it doesn't matter much.

I said the desire for sex doesn't have to be with a new random woman. You said, but for at least some men it does because man brain and women don't go through that as often. Men enjoy having sex. Men who get married usually don't cheat. Does that mean that they wouldn't want to have sex with more women if there were absolutely no strings attached? Is they somehow could magically have sex and "not be cheating"? No, it doesn't. But they are committed to marriage, that is why they don't pursue sex …

Is it a higher sex drive in general or a higher sex drive for random new women? You've said both, but they aren't the same thing. No, I haven't. I've said men have a higher sex drive than women. You're making the assumption that married men behave the same as single men, but they don't. Again, you make too many leaps in logic to have a coherent conversation.
/r/PurplePillDebate17/10/25 07:53 PM

But men definitely seem concerned they'll still be the ones wanting it more Right, because men have higher sex drives than most women. It's really not complicated.
/r/PurplePillDebate17/10/25 07:50 PM

It's definitely not so simple like you say. Yes, it is. What evidence do you have in any that it isn't? You don't have any. Sex feels good, but not because of it being with a new person. Again, don't be so utterly arrogant that you think you understand mens' minds when you are not a man.
/r/PurplePillDebate17/10/25 07:44 PM

They're not like those other men because they can easily sleep around, which most men can't. Why jump to such complex conclusions about validation and other similar wacky ideas when you can simply say they are doing it because they like having sex? Men don't go around talking to each other saying... "I slept with 20 women and you slept with 4, therefore I'm better than you.". Are there some men in the world who do it? Sure. But definitely not most men.

Nothing to misinterpret, Yes there is. You're making too many jumps in logic. There are obese people in the world, correct? Why are those people obese? Because they really enjoy eating a lot of food. Since we all eat food, does that mean every person is obese? No, it doesn't. And that is fine, but if that's what men wanted This entire debate is about why certain men really sleep around. But not every man, if fact not even most men, sleep around a lot. You're making too many jumps in logic and as…

As to the point about men's sex drive being higher: that's not how I always saw it. I don't know what to say, they just do. This isn't some kind of revolutionary statement. It's a pretty standard thought among most people. I thought men pursued ungettable women for a chase No, they are pursuing those women because they want to have sex with them. It's just complicated for men. Your inserting how you think about relationships into mens' minds and assuming they work the same way. They don't.
/r/PurplePillDebate17/10/25 06:46 PM

I am saying if all men openly craved novelty more than monogamy and a lifelong partner Huh? You're making way too many assumptions and jumps in logic. Men are often more sexually oriented than women. Why do some men have sex with a lot of different partners? Because they enjoy having sex. It has nothing to do with validation from other men or even those women. But that doesn't mean men who are married are absolutely going to cheat. Men and women cheat at roughly the same rate, or within 5 percen…

Women think about sex. With men. Invariably in these debates on this sub when the idea that men have a higher sex drive comes up, women reply insisting they like sex. I absolutely believe you and other women enjoy sex. It's just on average, men have a higher sex drive than women. They just do. That's why the entire system works. For the most part, men pursue women... because they have a higher sex drive they are willing to pursue. I can't change my outlook based on men being "wired different." T…

That doesn't say that prostitutes in general have lower rates of STI than the regular public.
/r/PurplePillDebate17/10/25 05:54 PM
2

Nah dude, the fact that men both pay women for sex No, it's not equivalent. About 75% of all prostitution is from men seeking sex. Yes, women use prostitutes, but not nearly to the same frequency as men. It's well known that sex workers are "cleaner" than most people who have casual You're just completely making this up. No, prostitutes are not cleaner than a random person having casual sex.
/r/PurplePillDebate17/10/25 05:45 PM
2

Lol, that's plainly untrue given men's attitudes to prostitution Prostitution exists because of men. How many women vs men prostitutes are in the world? I would say you disproved your own point here. Most men won't have sex with a prostitute because they don't want to catch a STI, or they are in a committed relationship and value that. But if there were absolutely no consequences almost all men would be going to prostitutes.

Why enjoy sex "with a new person" instead of just freaking enjoying sex?!?! If you have a lot of money and enjoy video games, would you choose to play the same video game the rest of your life, or would you desire to try a lot of different games? Why eat the same food for the rest of your life when you can try different foods? You can use a lot of similar analogies to explain that phenomenon. Sex is a much more animalistic instinct for men compared to women. The mistake women make in thinking ab…

Women do not care about alienating 85% of men because 90% of men are completely invisible to them. She should if she's a politician who wants men to vote for her.

For the men that can't and don't stop, the issue is often validation. No, it's not. Men do not think the way women think. They are fundamentally different and validation means infinitely less to them. Of course there are all kinds of personality traits and variations among men, but in general, you would never see a female doctor married to a janitor. But you often see a male doctor married to a woman with no career. Because most men fundamentally do not care about validation when picking a partn…

Not really. It's about trying to have sex with as many women you can, like going to a buffet. Women inherently think about status and validation much more than men. For the most part, men don't care.
/r/PurplePillDebate17/10/25 04:27 PM

It's not about validation. It's about having sex with different women. Imagine you are at a buffet and you want to try a lot of different foods and desserts... that's a good analogy for how they feel.

The AOC stuff and her follow up video was so bad. Ana and Cenk are correct in that it can alienate so many men. She's talking about short kinds and being "spiritually 6ft". You can tell the importance of height in judging a man's worth is ingrained in her, and that's going to alienate a lot of men when 85% of them are below 6ft. I don't always agree with Ana, but she made great points on this one. Height has become an increasingly sore subject for men, especially in regards to dating, and it's s…

People on the internet are not honest. They answer idealistically as they see themselves or how they would like to see themselves. Maybe women do it more than men.
/r/PurplePillDebate15/10/25 01:28 PM

Should your essay be directed towards women? They control the narrative. If women don't want men to provide, men won't care. Sure, there may always be very conservative enclaves where they seek very traditional roles, but at the end of the day women are usually the gatekeepers of relationships and if they don't want this, men won't care. But in real life, in my experience, this is what feminism has turned into. It's just the inverse of the men's rights movement with one convoluted argument after…

Do you know what friend zoned means? It means you try to pursue a relationship with someone (meaning you put in a lot of work) and then that person just wants to be friends with you and doesn't take any further. So essentially everything I wrote applies.

I don't know women's experiences, but I do know in 9 out of every 10 couples the man initiated, paid for everything early on , was expected to entertain the woman, and basically expected to initiate everything. Flirting is essentially nothing compared to what is taken for granted the man will do.

What specifically about what I wrote do you disagree with? Do you disagree that in most dating situations the man does all of that? It's a ton of work. Why isn't this a question for men? Why don't you ask men what they mean? A woman doesn't have to do much in dating. She simply presents herself on social media or a dating app and will be chased by men. Men have to ask a woman out, plan dates, are usually expected to pay for everything, be entertaining, etc. And women increasingly are more selective, making things more frustrating for the average guy. Women leave marriages at a much higher rate and seem to be constantly dissatisfied and thinking…

You are assuming that’s why she asked. casual sex is easier for women, but women don’t date for casual sex often. They date for long term relationships It's just too hard to follow your points. You make so so many assumptions in your writing, it's hard to logically follow what you're trying to communicate. The point most men make is that women typically have a ton of options at their disposal, they just have high standards and the men at their disposal do not meet their standards. Which is basic…

It's very hard to follow you're writing. My point is that most men say dating is much harder for the average guy than the average woman, and the answers on this post very much reinforce that idea. OP seemed like she was hoping to hear the opposite perspective. When she said she just wanted to hear the opinions, I said well there you do, you got them. /r/PurplePillDebate05/10/25 07:47 PM

Consensus is most average women can get male attention whenever they want, the men just don't meet up to their standards. Which is essentially the stereotype.

Don't need to abolish anything, just don't get married if you don't want to. There are a lot of happy married couples who would disagree with you and why do you want to dictate what they do with their lives?
/r/PurplePillDebate03/10/25 01:54 AM

Men, on average, don't actually think about how attractive they are like women do. They just pursue women they are attracted to and over time they learn who they do and don't have a chance with.

Feminism jumped the shark a while ago and is mostly just the inverse of the extremes of the men's rights movement. Women are mostly the victims of domestic violence and abortion will always be a controversial subject, but otherwise, in most western countries there aren't a lot more barriers for women to climb over. Mostly it's just one convoluted argument after another about why women should get every advantage and do whatever they want in the moment at all times.

/r/PurplePillDebate29/09/25 10:23 PM

No, you can't. You can't say men want to marry more than they did in the past. Because marriages aren't happening.
/r/PurplePillDebate29/09/25 09:36 PM
2

Right. You can't say 100% what it's due to. But you also can't say that men want to marry more or at the same rate as in previous decades, because that's not happening. Plus, I'm a man, and know that men talk about this constantly. It's much different previous generations. Men know women leave marriages. Some men will still marry because they have their heart set on it. But a large portion of them won't.
/r/PurplePillDebate29/09/25 09:13 PM
1

Men don't care about women's education and jobs. I never wrote that and I have no idea how you're inferring that. But men don't want to risk losing 2/3rds of the net value by marrying. So they're not marrying. Now can you infer that the reason they're not marrying is solely because of that? Definitely not. But you also can't infer that they are marrying, because they're not. Or at least they're marrying at a drastically lower rate than years ago.
/r/PurplePillDebate29/09/25 08:34 PM

I don't follow. Try to write your thoughts out.

/r/PurplePillDebate29/09/25 05:14 PM
