True the virginity thing is something I have not seen irl. If anything most guys would heavily prefer NOT to date a virgin. The body count stuff from irl guys is them not wanting a girl who has slept with the whole basketball team in high school or a whole frat house in college. It’s less focused on a specific number or being a virgin, and more about attitude towards sex and perception. Guys don’t really want to date a known slut would be the most accurate way to describe it

Slut shaming among men and women, worry from men about being divorce raped and resistance to marriage, General understanding that women like looks, muscles, money to the expense of personality, though many will agree that game and rizz is super important
/r/PurplePillDebate26/09/23 10:50 PM

It’s funny that red pill takes are actually really common irl, people just don’t really call themselves red pill.

What does a "notlikeothergirls" chick even mean in this case? Is it some girl not toeing the line on every feminist ideal and radfems call her "notlikeothergirls"? Cuz in that case yes, of course.

It’s when we’re told (in so many words) “women can’t really love” or “love is transactional,” in the face of our own knowledge that it’s not, that it is especially confounding. My original point did include men in it as well. They don't escape criticism from me. In regards to nontransactional and true romantic connections, i mostly see those from couples who formed either from school social groups like in HS/college or from a robust social group. They developed the romantic connection organicall…
/r/PurplePillDebate22/09/23 07:10 PM

yes, I am the same way, i feel like an average women does on dating apps on linkedin. Wish they could be switched :(
/r/PurplePillDebate22/09/23 06:44 PM

Do you believe they’re just being more honest than we are? I don't believe you are lying, but i think there is a concerted effort among the more blue pilled people to heavily downplay these sorts of arguments we are making concerning modern dating. For example, my primary friend group is composed of men who are more seriously minded in regards to relationships, either people looking for one or already in one. Casual sex is less favored versus finding an LTR. If I were to hear comments online fro…
/r/PurplePillDebate22/09/23 06:38 PM

But “I’ll only date a man who makes 6 figures” is not something I have ever personally heard or seen, even online (though I’m sure I could find it easily online if I looked!). Well you don't date women, so that kinda makes sense. And the people you talk to may not be willing to outwardly say it to you, because it does come off as pretty shallow if you say it. If you date women, you will come across people with that requirement or a women that doesn't ostensibly have the requirement, but "happens…
/r/PurplePillDebate22/09/23 06:10 PM

Ah I see so you believe that women seek partners for material gain. I didn't say that, I said such an arbitrary cutoff like $100k a year salary leads to me believe the idea of dating for that person trends more towards the conditional/transactional rather than the true romantic connection. There's a big difference between I want financial stability, which is fair, and I want $100k. Financial stability encompasses much more like spending habits, debt level, future earnings, savings, possible inhe…
/r/PurplePillDebate22/09/23 05:57 PM

If my boyfriend cheated on me or abused me, which he would never do, I imagine I’d fall out of love with him. Sure, that is fair, but the conditional and transactional nature of romance has raised to the point where the idea of romantic love doesn't really feel like a real thing to me, especially in a heavily materialistic society like the USA. When you have standards like 6 ft+ and only $100k a year from women, you start to wonder about the idea of romantic love. Is it truly impossible for this…
/r/PurplePillDebate22/09/23 05:30 PM

Nah incels aren’t particularly right leaning if you dig into the data
/r/PurplePillDebate22/09/23 05:09 PM

I barely even believe in the idea of romantic love (from men and women). I don’t think people are necessarily lying, I think it’s really all more transactional and “what can you do for me” than true romantic love

So what counts as evidence then? Why would a Reddit thread where people are specifically using the phrase in the way you say they don’t not be evidence? There are potentially thousand of discount commenters using the phrase in a way you say does not happen. Are they not real? Are you arguing that that they are bots? All you’re doing is just discounting evidence that goes directly against your point in order to somehow win the argument. You’re engaging in bad faith.
/r/PurplePillDebate21/09/23 11:31 PM
1

You’re being purposefully disingenuous. If you do a search for “the bar is low for men” on google you will see multiple threads on Reddit discussing the phrase and the context of the women commenting are specifically about meeting guys in the courting/dating stage. It is clearly NOT only talking about relationships. The phrase is it only used for relationships and it should be easy to see that by even a cursory glance at evidence.
/r/PurplePillDebate21/09/23 11:23 PM
1

It’s not exclusively that though. I’ve seen it used in the context of a single women talking about men in the courting stage. What you’re saying is explicitly wrong and can easily be disproven by a single google search.

I’ve been trying to find an LTR with a girl I have baseline attraction towards but that is insanely difficult, I might just start pump and dumping obese single mothers.
/r/PurplePillDebate20/09/23 10:30 PM
1

I might just start trying to pump and dump chicks. If women are going to engage in their own natural biological instinct to only consider the most fit men, then i might as well engage in my natural instinct to spread my seed and pump/dump a bunch of chicks. All's fair, right?

This has nothing to do with manosphere content. And sure women marry for love, but for some reason women only end up falling in love with richer, better looking, high status, charismatic guys. Everything is about what can you do for me, what can you give to me to make me fall "in love" with you. Also, guys are as transactional as well, i'm not saying women are any better or worse than guys
/r/PurplePillDebate20/09/23 09:26 PM
1

I've dated more than a few people. It's all the same bullshit, the goal is to find a situation where the transaction is favorable or at the very least alright for me, not run away from the transactional nature.

It feels so sad as a guy knowing love is really just transactional and the only way I will get a girl to be with me is when she gets anxious about her family/fertility timelines leading to lowered standards. It is amazing how quickly a woman’s standards start dropping when those timelines start creeping up.

But, before you said that if the attention/validation is from an attractive man, it is positive. So, is the difference in whether the guy is a creep if he is attractive or not? Are you seriously doing the "you're a creep if not attractive thing, right now LOL?" Also, how is a guy supposed to know if he's attractive or not to a girl? Girls rarely approach, so dudes end up having to approach. So, for all the times a guy approaches a woman who ended up not finding him attractive, he's just a creep.…

But see you’re going all over the place with your points here, and this type of conversation is honestly why most men think a lot of this discourse is very deceptive. You told me that only the attention of attractive men is validating. Ok great, that’s fair. But now you’re telling me if you’re getting attention from a guy who actually thinks you’re cool is validating. But what if this guy is unattractive? Still validating? What if the attractive guy is eyeing your brewers like a piece of steak? …
/r/PurplePillDebate19/09/23 11:54 PM

It does have more to do with women’s standards because women just are attracted to less men than vice versa. And you don’t know going in if that guy gives attention to anyone with a hole. What if it is an average guy who really thinks you’re cool and has only hit on one person in his life, you versus an attractive guy that literally does hit on any women with a hike. You illustrate they is is absolutely to do with the attractiveness standards of women and not the fact men give attention to any w…

Yes, and I explicitly said we are talking about positive/good attention and validation in my post, and you did lay out the difference in your post. Again, the issue is that standards for positive validation for females by males is substantially higher than the other way around. Is it biological? Cultural? Both? Maybe, but we have to deal with the cards we are dealt.
/r/PurplePillDebate19/09/23 10:23 PM
1

Well your first assertion regarding it being hard for both genders to receive attention and validation from the opposite gender they want is also broad and undefined as well. And I think you did it that way on purpose to attempt to equalize the statements and shield yourself from the obvious counterpoint that desirable men are extraordinary less common than desirable women for an average person. You answered my statement of “getting specific validation from men they want” as getting Chad to commit. That implies to me that Chad is the only guys they are attracted to, which is a very small amount of guys, which is why you can call women chadsexual. And another issue with this conversation is that it illustrates the insanely inflated standards women have for “good” male attention. If it is true that the only validation from men for women they matters is Chad committing to exclusively to he…

One big issue is the intersection between the very Christian and puritan culture that dominated our history with the burgeoning more left leaning feminist and free love culture. As a culture we are still figuring out the roles we are all expected to play in dating. The best example is that men are expected to play the pursuer role and initiate/pay for everything while women are slowly removing themselves from traditional feminine roles. So men are left very confused on how to tackle dating becau…

I have gone out with this girl a couple times and I do sorta like her problem is I am not that physically attracted to her due to her weight. But I think I can grow to like her maybe??? I’m pretty sure she likes me though, is what I am doing bad by leading her on if I don’t find her physically attractive? The problem is that I consider any girl I consider attractive is likely out of my league or like really really crazy. So I do have to settle.
/r/PurplePillDebate19/09/23 07:25 PM

One common argument against all this red pill stuff is people just say “well there’s about as many women and men and most people end up in relationships so all of this male dating anger is overblown.” What people don’t understand is the pairing up in LTR among men and women is decreasing in the modern age, so a lot of these single women with ridiculous standards are just gonna stay single or maybe drop them as they age. You can find these sad women all over places like twox, FDS, LSA, vindicta. …
/r/PurplePillDebate18/09/23 08:05 PM

Nah the importance of looks is like a sliding scale, the better you look the less any of that other shit matters. If you’re below average you need insane competence, game, charisma to do well. It’s not like if you pass a certain threshold then suddenly looks don’t matter and everything else does.
/r/PurplePillDebate18/09/23 07:52 PM

Modern dating is honestly GG for dudes if you didn’t meet a girl in school or don’t have a social group with many single attractive and looking women.

The problem is every tall guy in the world is looking for exactly what you just described

I mean if the guy was looking for one and couldn’t find one and is now suddenly like yeah I’m fine without that one my life is fine, I highly doubt they were able to just turn they part of themselves off. more romance, Lol, more romance done BY the guy TO the women. Sure, people love to be showered with gifts and attention and will push for more of it. eventually marriage. I struggle with using this as evidence of anything, because marriage is wrapped up into so much cultural, legal, and government aspects that a man not wanting marriage shouldn't bee seen as wanting less commitment. A man could be in a full committed LTR, and the woman pushes for marriage and is seen as not wanting to commit, wh…

But they want a relationship clearly, dating is just so bad for guys they just give up. I’m similar in that I highly desire a relationship but dating is so bad for guys that sometimes I wonder if it’s worth it to continue
/r/PurplePillDebate16/09/23 09:41 PM
1

What do you mean by general desire? And men do have sex with prostitutes, there are barely any male prostitutes compared to women, and males ones are probably for gay men lol And guys watch much more porn, Seeing the gap in who sees prostitutes more and who watches more porn is more indirect evidence of the sexual desire gap
/r/PurplePillDebate16/09/23 09:39 PM
1

But that’s a very small amount of men though. Average men are happy to commit to average women, average women do not want it. I could also say that women are only interested in a relationship with a very small amount of men, so do they really desire relationships more than men if it’s only with a men? Everything comes back to that gap in overall desire that flows through relationships and sexual desire.
/r/PurplePillDebate16/09/23 09:35 PM
1

Indirectly, mostly. There really isn't a way to directly measure "sexual desire." For example though, we know that men have much higher T levels than men. We know that FtM people report significantly higher sex drives after going on T, and men going on Test therapy report much higher sex drives. So if T leads to a higher sex drive, and men have significantly more of it, what answer easily follows from that?
/r/PurplePillDebate16/09/23 09:31 PM
3

I definitely don’t think that’s true. Women just think men don’t like commitment bedside they’re only looking at the top guys who have too good of a deal to commit to one women.
/r/PurplePillDebate16/09/23 09:16 PM
1

I think the "desire gap" needs to become a term used here. It's basically the inherent difference in desire men hold, on average, for women, against the desire women hold, on average, for men. It's substantially more for men than women, and is the basic explanation for EVERYTHING wrong with dating today.
/r/PurplePillDebate16/09/23 08:57 PM

This is just the classic women overrating other women. Women’s bias towards other women constantly shows up all the time.

To me, the wall is ultimately about dating opportunities. It's just commonly thought as of less attractive, less young, as it is usually used for women. But I don't see it can't just be that a man's opportunities drastically drop off after college, so he hits the wall, no matter if he is more attractive or not (exceptions exist, as they do for women). Most of the solid relationships I see (with men dating on their level or even above) were formed in high school, college, or from social circles t…

/r/PurplePillDebate15/09/23 05:45 PM
1

Your first mistake is blaming slut shaming on only men. Female promiscuity is shamed by our culture at large, which includes both women and men. Women do not get to escape accountability for that. Second, even with the intense social shaming you speak of for female promiscuity, the woman here is still having these casual sex partners, BUT not with the husband material guy. Why? Due to the fact that women have less overall desire for men than the other way around, men crave that animalistic desir…
/r/PurplePillDebate15/09/23 05:18 PM
1

If a girl has done a lot of casual sex in the past, and is making husband material guy wait, it’s very likely he will have a big problem with that if he has any sort of self respect. That’s something women have to understand. If you pit the two types of guys into separate camps and will fuck one but not the other it comes off as a lack of desire. No way around it and no way to explain it.
/r/PurplePillDebate15/09/23 05:04 PM

But if the women will instantly sleep with the casual material guy and make the husband material guy for sex, it tells the guy he is not as sexually attractive as casual guy and his money/stability make up for it. Most guys aren’t gonna be happy with it

Women talk a big game about wanting good personalities and good communicators and emotionally mature men, but they filter so heavily on looks that it illustrates they don’t care about it. Women virtue signal their preferences to appear moral.
/r/PurplePillDebate15/09/23 01:59 AM
1

ugly men aren't any more likely to treat you well than good looking guys, but they aren't also any LESS likely to do the same. That's why women heavily filtering looks while saying they want good long-term traits (emotional/mental stability, good communication skills) makes no sense.
/r/PurplePillDebate15/09/23 01:37 AM
6

Of course, pressure comes from men for women to look pretty, just as the opposite is the case with pressure from women for men. And you said it yourself you like fit guys, the vast majority of men in gyms are not very big, they are mostly fit to average, some even fat and some very muscled. So even you, who says you don’t like overly muscled guys is indirectly giving pressure to men to be in the gym.
/r/PurplePillDebate14/09/23 11:40 PM
6

No gym expectations are primarily about attracting women. The pressure is from women. It’s not like women say specifically “go to the gym.” But men have eyes and see women going after fitter guys and see they attract more and better women while more fit. So guys try to get what women go after, which is a fitter body, meaning the pressure really is from women.

Men do care about hair and makeup, I didn’t say they don’t, I’m just saying there are parts of it they don’t like. Men like natural youth and beauty, men do not like excessive makeup that looks fake, they like makeup that is understated, evens skin tone, makes a girl look younger but not too unnatural Hair color is pretty irrelevant for men. And men have beauty standards as well. Have you been to a gym? It is vast majority men, and they are trying to adhere to the beauty standards for men to loo…

Most of that shit you mentioned actually doesn’t matter for men and women even admit they do it for themselves and other women. Men don’t care about nails, colored hair and braids, too much makeup(we normally like a smaller amount that gives a more natural look) We also don’t give a shit about excess style. If you just wear form fitting clothing it won’t matter.
/r/PurplePillDebate14/09/23 11:03 PM

It is not called body count but it is absolutely talked about a lot in more normal circles. Also you won’t hear people hyperfocus on the specific number of partners You’ll hear women be called sluts, easy all the time. You’ll hear people be like “oh she fucked the whole basketball team, she’s not easy” Female promiscuity has pretty much always been deemed negative by society
/r/PurplePillDebate14/09/23 09:58 PM

One guy I see said it is like bare minimum, and I do think many of the things you said are bare minimum. I mean should anyone, man or women, be expected to be in a relationship with someone they are not attracted to, is not loyal, or is not respectful to them? Some of the ones below I could go without though Also, bare minimum for women includes much more than what you are saying. Finances are much more important for men than women, women also have heavy preferences on masculine traits like asse…

Wait just one tweet from a dude means his love life is really good? People never lie about their love lives especially men on the internet. Lol I don’t get what this shows
/r/PurplePillDebate14/09/23 04:47 PM

Criticized for having excessive standards and placing huge amounts of demands upon men and then complaining about their single lives/men (where have all the good men gone, no man will commit to me, men are all bad these days) If they are up front that their standards are high and don’t complain I honestly don’t care
/r/PurplePillDebate14/09/23 04:30 PM

This doesn’t negate his point. Women can be attracted to as few men as they want, but then they are not immune to criticism that they have excessively high standards and demand much more from men then they have themselves. Women are allowed to have their preferences and they are allowed to be criticized.

Because I always specify differences in whatever categories we're discussing. Food insecurity is a problem in the USA, and a much bigger one in certain african countries. The US democratic party is corrupt, and the US republican party is much more corrupt. I would never go through life thinking if two different subjects have some level of difficulty, then i'd just never specify the massive differing levels of difficulty, if they exist. That just seems really stupid to me. If I said "the US and k…

Yes and it the man can't risk his wealth for the women he loves then he doesn't love her and is only using her. This is a ridiculous claim by you. Using her for what exactly? A man in a long-term relationship without marriage is automatically using a woman? What about a woman who earns more in an LTR with a man? Is she using him? That's honestly a pretty offensive take tbh. It's also backed up by absolutely nothing...

But with no-fault divorce available everywhere in the us, and the shame of divorce effectively dead in society, what is marriage worth? How is it a sign of true commitment? I don't see any significant difference between the commitment level of an LTR and a marriage. The only difference is the pooling of assets that occurs in marriage, so you're basically forcing the higher earner/wealthier party (generally the man, but could potentially be the women) into heavy financial risk with a no-fault div…

Sure, my sister so comes from a similar upbringing lives in a completely different reality for dating. A week into using a dating app I looked at her account and she had over 50 unread messages from men, while I would struggle to get they many matches in over a couple of years. She can schedule a date easily if she wants every day. Women and men live in different realities when it comes to dating.

Dating would mean someone I am going on semi regular dates with or at least just hanging out with clear romantic purpose. I would not say I am dating someone who I am exclusive with. Relationship is someone where we have an exclusive romantic and sexual partnership. We would still go on dates, probably a bit less often than in the dating stage and do more just standard hanging out.

I’m just a bit confused, I’ve tried stuff like what you’re saying with some of my matches and it hasn’t worked. Maybe because my profile is oriented more seriously (no shirtless pics, no pics with lots of attractive women, no fuckboy looking pics) So when I send something like that it breaks with what they have conceived of me in their mind.

/r/PurplePillDebate13/09/23 07:02 PM

Lol that is not true my man. Didn’t you just have casual sec the first time off bumble a couple weeks ago? I feel like you’re not too experienced in it. A girl won’t just be willing to LTR if she sleeps with you once. She might just be horny that day or something.
/r/PurplePillDebate13/09/23 06:59 PM

I’ve tried that and it doesn’t work. Also I want a long term relationship not casual sex. So starting off sexual isn’t great for LTR vibes. Is it possible I could be missing out on casual sex by spamming rizzy sexual lines on every match I have, sure maybe? But most girls will think you’re a fuckboy,

Is it not possible for women to have excessive standards? Why is that not ever a consideration for you? And I usually go for a girl that is not a plain Jane, usually a bit backer average like a 6-6.5, 7 I don’t go after as much because it is just really tough to woo them since they have unlimited male attention.
/r/PurplePillDebate12/09/23 11:43 PM

Neither do I. The standards of the girls are just high. You realize those girls are also single too that im going after.
/r/PurplePillDebate12/09/23 11:39 PM

I am above average in the traits I mentioned. Do you believe height, income, body fat %, and muscle mass are important aspects of male desirability? Those are the directly measurable without getting into more subjective stuff.

And btw some of the girls that rejected me have pretty average faces, not even that great but still nothing, kinda ridiculous really, Dating is hilariously stacked against men.
/r/PurplePillDebate12/09/23 11:25 PM
1

Well my case illustrates all that matters is face, I am well above average in every other category. Good to know that’s the only thing that matters and everything else is just cope, You’re actually a literal face blackpiller. You’re making the argument that face is everything and being well above average in other categories does not make up for an unknown face.
/r/PurplePillDebate12/09/23 11:23 PM

So are you saying that all that matters is facial attractiveness then? Income, height, fitness, desire for a relationship, don’t matter all that matters is a clear top 10% face? Are you blackpilled?
/r/PurplePillDebate12/09/23 11:18 PM

I am not sure if my face is good looking, that’s not for me to decide or know. Women as a whole will decide that. I mean I don’t have a face like Brad Pitt where it is obvious but I also don’t have a super ugly face. I consider like 80% of male faces to be in that average range where it’s tough for me to really know if they are good looking. Some girls have commented to me that they find my face handsome or that I could model, but I am not sure if they are gassing me up, because I haven’t really…
/r/PurplePillDebate12/09/23 11:14 PM

Well I did not say my face was good looking, I just said not ugly. Which I think is true. But it is hard for me to say what my face is because there is no good scale for it as it is a bit more in the subjective category. I would put my face at least in the average range. Can’t really say with certainty anything else. Everything else is not embellished. They are things I know to be true just based on measurable characteristics like height, income, body fat, muscle mass, and my own personal desire…

/r/PurplePillDebate12/09/23 10:36 PM

I think the biggest lie here told is the idea that the single men who can’t find anything are going exclusively for hot Instagram baddies and mad they can’t find them. I don’t even go after any of those people, I go for slightly above average girls, especially in the body. I am a a fan of fitter girls. Women are capable of loving and caring for men, but the vast majority heavily struggle with empathizing with men. Average women date average men in two primary ways. Late 20s women wants kids and lowers her standards to get commitment from a more average guy for a family. Social circle game, guys do this a lot in university or high school, where they develop friendships and connections with women they turn into relationships. It is true for some average guys. You’re thinking too much from the perspective of a woman where you receive much more romantic and sexual attention. It is very possible for a guy to go throughout his life, use apps, ask a few girls out at random social events, get rejected, and just never get a date. The fact that you don’t understand how they could happen illustrates that the female experience is clouding your thinking here. Now, if an average guy just went out and asked out hundreds of girls …

Many average men are failing and many average men are succeeding in dating despite the immense amount of required for men in modern dating. “struggling” and “failing to get any romantic interest from women” are two highly different claims. Average men are absolutely struggling. An average man could be in a relationship and struggled to get there or single and struggling. An average man can get some romantic interest from women. So you’re saying women who reject man don’t understand why they reject men? Not necessarily. They may be lying to virtue signal. One issue with society is that women are socialized to be (or at least appear) pure and moral, so they absolutely have an incentive to lie to make themselves look better. They may also just not understand what is causing them to be attracted to certain men. They may be manipulated by certain men. They may also just be an exception to general patterns (PPD unicorns)

You can barely even call women heterosexual since they’re attracted to so few men.
/r/PurplePillDebate31/08/23 12:59 AM

Most of my single guy friends have the same issue. Some are good looking some average. And none can get girls to be super responsive. If it’s true then it just really proves 20/80 fully correct. Women just aren’t interested in that many guys. You can barely even call women heterosexual since they’re attracted to so few men.

Huh??? How am i gaslighting you? I said I criticized you. You feeling insulted is fine, I cannot effect that. A person can FEEL insulted without having a person insult them.

Ability to understand experiences/feelings of another. I lack ability to empathize with women on stuff like periods and pregnancy. But I am aware and understand how it can cloud by thinking on gender dynamics so I can consciously try to understand how those experiences can effect woman’s behavior. The issue I have is that woman speak to issues on gender dynamics on dating without being able to empathize and understand male specific dating cultural conventions.
/r/PurplePillDebate30/08/23 07:08 PM

It’s not a good quality. I’m explicitly criticizing you for sure. But not every point of criticism automatically means I’m insulting you.

Telling Someone they lack something humans normally have doesn’t make something an insult. If I say to a guy “hey you have four fingers in your right hand” am I insulting him by saying he lacks something humans normally have?

1

No, it's always compatibility. If there's compatibility you can send text the next day or a week later and it's the same This is so wrong I don't even know where to begin. You sounds like a woman without empathy for men, because you don't understand the social and cultural standards set by women that men must adhere to in the early dating stages. Dating rules only hide your real personality but that lasts what? 4 dates? it's nothing for a LTR Ok sure, and think about what you're saying with this…
/r/PurplePillDebate30/08/23 05:48 PM
1

what do you want to hear from women "we are not compatible because I like cats and you like dogs" or "you should've waited 3 days to text me"? Ideally, I'd like to hear the truth from women. If the woman lists all the reasons why you 2 aren't compatible, what can you do with that info? nothing. If you've seen each other a couple of times some talk for closure is fine but going into details is pointless IMO But compatibility isn't the only reason why a romance doesn't work out. Sometimes people c…

It's worse for men, but not great for women.
/r/PurplePillDebate30/08/23 05:14 PM
1

I said ghosting/not giving any feedback. In the case of not giving feedback, the women did refuse but didn't elaborate, just said no. So that doesn't work for your argument. The man may get angry from just a no anyway. In the case of ghosting, are you then advocating that women just ghost all men they have been involved with but don't want to date anymore due to fears of anger from men? That sounds like a disgusting environment and honestly makes me think negatively if you believe that.
/r/PurplePillDebate30/08/23 05:13 PM
1

The problem with your argument is that negative interactions can occur with people no matter what type of social interaction you engage in, it's not limited to giving dating feedback to people or not ghosting them. You're allowing yourself to rationalize bad social/communication skills by letting a few bad apples cloud your judgement. But you could rationalize any possible behavior with another human being like you are doing, "if I do x, he could do Y," so I won't do it.
/r/PurplePillDebate30/08/23 05:07 PM
1

That’s just an excuse you use to not own up and use proper communication skills. And you rationalize it in your mind with “he’s not entitled to it” and “some men react badly to it.”
/r/PurplePillDebate30/08/23 04:57 PM

friends cannot give accurate feedback. They do not go on romantic dates with me. And i did not say i am entitled to feedback or not being ghosted, but it's just an asshole move to not do either of those things. There's this weird thing I see from women, where wanting to be treated like a human being is somehow entitled. Idk where that come from.

Where does this idea come from that single women are so much happier than single men? All data I have seen is that women tend to be less happy then men, I haven't seen single women vs single men, but I wouldn't expect it to be much different. Single women, on aggregate, are not "living their best lives" or super happy at all. As a general rule, I don’t think women give good dating advice for men, just as I don’t think men would give good dating advice for women. They’re completely different sexual and romantic strategies. Men should be taking advice from the most unattractive guys they know who seem to be doing well with women above their league, while women should be taking advice from women who seem to be able to secure commitment from men above their league.
/r/PurplePillDebate05/08/23 09:01 PM

But the vast majority of early dates that occur in the modern developed world are where the guy is in the maybe tier and he has to work his way to a yes. So your advice is literally useless, but not because no one's taking it, but because you're literally giving advice to different people.

Well, on dating apps they don't even see the 5'11 guy, so he never even gets a chance to be "the perfect man." And a significant amount of relationships start from there, so it is important to consider that as well. And in real life, I think it's possible a 5'11 man could do well with a women with a 6ft "standard." It's not like he is measured then and there, But what about a 5'10 guy? 5'9 guy? Just because it’s a difference in socialisation does not mean it’s not manipulation anymore. It’s absolutely a form of societal manipulation to make women appear more pure, virtuous, and kind. I don’t really mind it because I just kinda tune out women when they are very obviously doing it, it’s not like it’s hard to catch.
/r/PurplePillDebate28/07/23 07:43 PM

Sure people don’t want to be mean, but you don’t have to be mean to be realistic to people about where they stand, I was realwith you and I didn’t call you satans asshole, I wasn’t mean. Men in general are happier and appreciate more bluntness, so they despise the common double speak you will hear from women (and some men) on these issues. /r/PurplePillDebate28/07/23 07:24 PM

One of the most common complaints from incels and especially red pillers is that women are not socialised to tell the truth regarding how they feel about men in order to appear more virtuous (because women are expected to be pure and not shallow). You’re seeing that phenomenon play out in real time with yourself. You just went on a classic incel/red pill rant lol
/r/PurplePillDebate28/07/23 07:13 PM

Didn’t you go on a massive rant at women for lying to you because they were too nice?
/r/PurplePillDebate28/07/23 07:04 PM

I legitimately think one of the appeals of incels is the language and terms they use are hilarious. It honestly cracks me up, and you can’t help but think/use it if you’ve seen it enough It crops up everywhere in online communities even in non incel spaces.
/r/PurplePillDebate28/07/23 06:53 PM

And that’s how incels get sucked in as well. Job is on the computer or remote and they can fuck off online a lot, barely any social connections so you’re home a lot, suddenly you’re terminally online, Maybe you go incel, maybe you go politics, left or right, maybe you just get addicted to video games, and sometimes you just end up shitposting on PPD
/r/PurplePillDebate28/07/23 06:43 PM

The most red pilling thing ever is walking down the street with a straight female friend and comparing the number of people you find attractive to the woman. /r/PurplePillDebate28/07/23 04:51 PM

Life ain’t fair my man. But I see no reason why anyone wouldn’t soft looksmax as much as they can (excercise, sleep, water, skincare, healthy food, little alcohol). More attractive people are treated better in their Day to day life so it’s really not just about romance. I think you in general will feel more confident.
/r/PurplePillDebate28/07/23 04:46 PM

You’re 5’6 right? Youre not a 1, that’s ridic. You’re in the 3-4 range with the potential to be in the 4-5 range. If you were a neurotypical you’d have a shot, but your autism may ultimately fuck you. Also you wanted to know if you’re looksmaxed and you admitted you’re not. I can admit I have problems, but I don’t buy the idea they can be solved by therapy. Parts of my personality (introversion, high inhibition, high impulse control, overly analytical) are fundamentally unattractive to women and either impossible or extraordinary hard to change at this point. The only solution (and I got this from therapists as well) is effectively just to tough grass, talk to more women in a romantic context and hope to improve enough to get a girlfriend. There’s no million dollar…

/r/PurplePillDebate27/07/23 09:10 PM

I’ve been to two and both didn’t work. I don’t wanna be spending $200 an hour on stuff that hasn’t really worked. I’m also not that unhappy in my life other than dating, everything but dating is fine, so I’m k no it even sure what a therapist would do other than like idk have sex with me?
/r/PurplePillDebate27/07/23 08:18 PM

Been to therapy and it didn’t work
/r/PurplePillDebate27/07/23 08:11 PM

I don’t have the social circle or clout to get info around town, where the “hot places” with great ratios are. My friends are just normal guys who sometimes go to bars/clubs. But we live in a pretty inconvenient location (big city but bad transportation) so most of them don’t really want to go out of the way for places, just the normal stuff around us. Some have relationships so they don’t really care for stuff like the ratio. It would be pretty ridiculous if I was just like “hey let’s go to thi…
/r/PurplePillDebate27/07/23 06:51 PM

You are correct that is just about the ideal ratio but that ratio does not normally happen in reality. The vast majority of bars and clubs are not doing ladies nights or letting women in free while making women pay, and even that will not force the ratio to be 4m:6f The vast majority of places are lazy about it and let the ratio get too out of hand especially late at night where it’s basically a sausage fest, I would honestly love it if places policed the fuck out of the ratio and made guys pay …
/r/PurplePillDebate27/07/23 06:39 PM

Yes, but it is still most likely going to have a skewed ratio with more looking single men. Not quite OLD, but that’s why it’s OLD lite
/r/PurplePillDebate27/07/23 06:30 PM

Bars and clubs are OLD lite
/r/PurplePillDebate27/07/23 06:22 PM

I am unable to turn off that part of myself, and I don’t think I’d ever be able to turn it off without castrating myself. If I go to a social place I will always be thinking and subconsciously looking for single women, it’s completely hardwired, I can still have fun despite that though
/r/PurplePillDebate27/07/23 05:16 PM

Lanky build, not broad shoulders and skinny waist, but I have done a lot of working out to give myself some muscle, I’d say my build looks similar to Calvin Harris if you look him up, but a bit more muscle and also a bit more fat, since I am bulking right now
/r/PurplePillDebate27/07/23 04:42 PM

You should absolutely go, do not under any circumstances pass up chances to be around single women when you are in your situation
/r/PurplePillDebate27/07/23 04:31 PM

I am not autistic, and I am aware of women doing things like you said, but I struggle to differentiate between someone being friendly or flirty or just being a gregarious person, so I usually default to the more conservative, “she’s just being friendly”. I also have super high inhibition and high impulse control coupled with the modern social environment spurred by “me too” ends up making me default to just not doing anything so I am not that creepy, disgusting, annoying man.
/r/PurplePillDebate27/07/23 08:06 AM

What does a female IOI mean? Like making eye contact with you? I make eye contact in my day to day life too. How do I know it’s an ioi? Smiling at you? Some people just do that to be nice… I do not get approached by women or have them stare at me. I am still invisible just like all the other short and average height dudes. You have to be like really strikingly attractive as a dude to get obvious female attention in your day to day life, the vast majority just don’t get it

Are women actually attracted to guys with height or is it just a box checked? I am 6’5 and I don’t really feel like women see more as more attractive, it just widens by dating pool so basically every women would see my height as good enough
/r/PurplePillDebate27/07/23 07:16 AM

Dude she’s got many guys on her roster, you were trial ran for a bit with the convos you had but sadly didn’t make it
/r/PurplePillDebate27/07/23 12:20 AM

It’s a combo of your autism+not exceptional looks. If you had male model level looks, you’d get a bit of action, but since you don’t have that you’re basically fucked, all you can really do is get jacked make as much money as possible and pray you find one person willing to fuck you
/r/PurplePillDebate27/07/23 12:13 AM

I lower my chances way too much of getting a second date if I don’t pay the whole bill when it’s a functionally irrelevant expense for me to pay. It’s a very bad move for me not to pay with huge downside and low upside (a small amount of money I won’t notice). I will never not pay a first date unless the woman insists like three times when the bill comes, then I might oblige her, never had that happen, I’ve only gotten like a singular “are you sure?” Or a half hearted “we can split” Fuck that bu…

/r/PurplePillDebate26/07/23 11:12 PM

I would never split on a first date, woman despise splitting a bill and they control the early dating stage market
/r/PurplePillDebate26/07/23 11:10 PM

Lol rich of a modern women telling me to go talk to my grandpa. 😅😅😅 boy do you have a lot to discuss with your grandma about female expectations…
/r/PurplePillDebate26/07/23 11:04 PM

Women do it for the free meal, maybe they’re tight on money idfk, and for the free validation that a man would spend a lot of resources on her, it’s absolutely validation for some women. Also I pay for every first date I go on, fortunately I make enough money where the expense is irrelevant, so I absolutely do adjust behaviour knowing how women act. I wasn’t born yesterday, I know most women are like you and want the guy to pay.
/r/PurplePillDebate26/07/23 11:00 PM

Then if the guy does a more serious, expensive date, he just gets taken for a free meal and free validation for the women. Men cannot win at modern dating. Why are we even still trying lol?
/r/PurplePillDebate26/07/23 10:51 PM

/r/PurplePillDebate26/07/23 08:32 PM

Lol there are women in here calling Sean o pry not attractive. Don’t act like women don’t do the same thing to obviously attractive men.
/r/PurplePillDebate26/07/23 08:19 PM

Most people utilize “white lies” in social situations and aren’t always 100% honest with their full beliefs in real life. They don’t go off with PPD takes in the real world. You’ve said you hate that before in this chat, so I am wondering if you are just really uncensored in real life and spouting off takes you’d say on PPD. Not sure if true you can confirm or not.
/r/PurplePillDebate26/07/23 07:09 PM

I’m actually starting to think it might not just be your autism
/r/PurplePillDebate26/07/23 06:53 PM

I feel like that is the MO for most guys in their 20s who are decently attractive
/r/PurplePillDebate26/07/23 06:37 PM

I wonder if an issue for dating apps for women is that men know the matches they get are below their level due to how skewed dating apps are towards women, so men don’t really put in a ton of effort for a serious relationship and just go for sex.
/r/PurplePillDebate26/07/23 06:06 PM
1

You probably don’t reach the attractiveness/charisma threshold to do well in bars/clubs/OLD/cold approaching and then don’t have many single compatible women in your social circles. I am similar to you
/r/PurplePillDebate26/07/23 06:24 AM

One issue is that is average data which can be skewed by outliers like chads. You could have 1 Chad with n count of 50 and nine incel virgins and get to an average count of 5. I’d be more interested in the median number of sexual partners for men and women.

Well adrien broody is a pretty attractive guy, so I’m not surprised you get tingles from him. And, unintentionally, I think you perfectly illustrate the basic issues men have in the modern dating world. Cera has a pretty bland face for sure, with no great or terrible features really, but he’s not overweight, which shows in the face and he has pretty good facial harmony which you agree with. And you say you feel nothing sexually towards him. The female equivalent of Michael cera would have most g…
/r/PurplePillDebate26/07/23 12:15 AM

This guy works as an average face imo
/r/PurplePillDebate25/07/23 11:45 PM

I would say michael cera is a bit above average, around a 6, he’s in the average range but at the high end of it. He doesn’t really have any great or striking features, but he has pretty good facial harmony
/r/PurplePillDebate25/07/23 11:44 PM

Height for 25-34, 5’9, income for 25-34, 53k, weight for 25-29, 180 pounds. I can’t give you average faces now but maybe later
/r/PurplePillDebate25/07/23 10:34 PM

What have people told you repeatedly is not average?
/r/PurplePillDebate25/07/23 10:15 PM

I mean do you want pictures of random people for appearance? Also the data by age for income, net worth, and location is freely available for you to look through yourself.
/r/PurplePillDebate25/07/23 10:12 PM

Most friendships male or female are developing organically through some sort of shared place they spend a lot of time, like school or work or a sports team. Active social skills are not required for those. Now there are people who are good at making friends outside of that and being good at that does take some good active social skills, but the requirements aren’t as much as what is required for men in the dating/courtship phase. Also, most people aren’t making many new friends at all, we know t…
/r/PurplePillDebate25/07/23 10:08 PM

They are social skills, but active social skills are the hardest to cultivate, skills that require you to initiate, to charm, to inspire are going to be harder than your standard social skills. Why do you think people complain so much about bad bosses? Leadership requires active social skills to succeed and not many have the capability.
/r/PurplePillDebate25/07/23 09:04 PM

Women fail to understand that having good general social skills does not always translate to having good male specific dating social skills. For women, dating social skills are heavily correlated with other general social skills because they are in the passive role. Be pleasant, interested, good eye contact, ask questions, good conversationalist. But for men there are extra skills required that are about being the active role, leading conversations, planning exciting dates, understanding when an…
/r/PurplePillDebate25/07/23 08:38 PM

I do have a rizz scale, 1 or 0, you got it or you don’t. Sociability as a concept is too broad because it encompasses more than just dating specific social skills, (social skills for friends, family, coworkers, strangers). You’d have to separate out each type of social skill (because they are all very different) and categorise them one by one.
/r/PurplePillDebate25/07/23 08:14 PM

Ok don’t use 1-10, it doesn’t really matter. What matters is you are rating physical looks just as men are. For some reason women have this odd thing about using numbers when you’re system of ugly, cute, and hot could be denoted as numbers (1,2,3) and it would be the same exact system. Essentially all people rate people based on physical looks. Men and women alike.
/r/PurplePillDebate25/07/23 08:07 PM

There are scales as well for all those other things you mentioned too. It’s just that normally 1-10 scales are for looks specifically. The issue with using a 1-10 scale for something like “swag/socialibility” is that women’s standards for having good “swag” are very high that most men end up just having very low swag or rizz/game in their eyes. It’s more looked at as a binary thing, like a 1 or 0 scale. He has “good” rizz is used a lot. People don’t really say he has 8 rizz or something like tha…
/r/PurplePillDebate25/07/23 07:57 PM

Normally it is assumed to be purely looks and nothing else. So basically face body and height
/r/PurplePillDebate25/07/23 07:48 PM

How do you not see that categorising people as average and below average is ranking them?
/r/PurplePillDebate25/07/23 07:46 PM
1

People were being nice to you, even on here there is a strong incentive not to make someone feel bad, you will never get accurate ratings of yourself if you just directly ask someone with you expecting an answer while present.
/r/PurplePillDebate25/07/23 07:45 PM

You were the one who mentioned the terms average and below average first. What do you think those terms refer to other than a rating system? I just used numbers and a more detailed rating to describe what I was saying. 5 being average, 6 being slightly above average, and 4 being where below average begins.
/r/PurplePillDebate25/07/23 07:36 PM

Nah I doubt it, it really is pretty bad for 5-6 men out there. The thing is the 4’s and below have gone through their life accepting they are ugly and they know it. 5 and 6’s feel like they deserve more than what they can get in modern dating. Being under 7 as a man is a huge social disadvantage is the modern world.

No one said most people are changing their views on anything. And for the record, I agree with you and don’t really take a movie like barbie super seriously when it is little more than advertising for a popular toy brand, but if you put possibly controversial social messages in a movie, discussion and criticism is fair game.
/r/PurplePillDebate25/07/23 05:06 PM

You realize movies have messages that the director puts in intentionally for the audience to think about and discuss? And barbie is specifically not a kids movie, it is rated pg-13 for a reason.

Where are you seeing that most guys are forming relationships? Most young men are single, many because they don’t want a relationship or are just dropping out of the dating pool. The non spectacular men forming relationships are usually forming them from social circles formed in school or work. Past school, a man needs to be very good looking and charismatic to do well in “colder” situations like bars, clubs, and OLD. The only real option is social circles for more average guys, which are statis…
/r/PurplePillDebate24/07/23 11:31 PM

If you truly imagine the normal poster here to be like that video, you truly don’t understand the issues faced by most guys today.
/r/PurplePillDebate24/07/23 10:34 PM

I have loads of positive interactions with women. Women are rarely mean to me, they smile at me sometimes, I get complimented by women (friends and family though), I never get called a creep or insulted by them, I have pleasant conversations with them, great work, family, and friendly relationships with women I know I just have nothing romantic. It’s a completely different type of social interaction.
/r/PurplePillDebate24/07/23 10:01 PM

Sure, but there are a couple issues. Many of my guy friends are settling down and don’t want to go out much. And second going out to bars and clubs with only guys mostly sucks. Women despise groups of single men without any women.
/r/PurplePillDebate24/07/23 08:01 PM

Yes but they are all male and all of my current hobbies are either solitary or male dominated. I go to bars and clubs withy male friends or house parties. That’s where those interactions would sometimes happen.
/r/PurplePillDebate24/07/23 07:54 PM

I have been to therapy and it was not effective.
/r/PurplePillDebate24/07/23 07:47 PM

I already work out, lift weights, play sports, and play video games. I’m not fantasising about these interactions lol, I feel like you don’t really understand what I’m saying fully
/r/PurplePillDebate24/07/23 07:45 PM

How many people do you think the average person even talks to in their lifetime? Really gets to know? Your options are the people around you and who you have socialised with. Everyone is settling for those people. You’re essentially picking the person you like the most in the people you’ve interacted with that also likes you. It’s the same for me too. I just have much less of those interactions than women and top tier men. I am also assessing compatibility when I talk to these women in these inf…
/r/PurplePillDebate24/07/23 07:38 PM

It’s less that I am putting an unrealistic expectation on the interaction. It’s not like I am imagining a future with every single real life interaction I have with a single women, I am aware the odds on one single interaction are not good. It is more that I know it is an important interaction that I desperately do not want to fuck up, i want to put my best foot forward on each interaction and it is pretty anxiety inducing. I need to get at least one right or else I die alone. I don’t really get…
/r/PurplePillDebate24/07/23 07:29 PM

Still not internalising it. I don’t want to pedestalize those interactions, I do it because they are just so much more important and infrequent than any other interactions I have that they are automatically pedestalized. It’s not possible to have it be any other way. The problem is they so few women give me the time of day that I am unable to vet in the way you want. If I vetted like you want, I’d just get no one. Is that what you want? Maybe that’s your goal, that guys like me die alone, I do u…
/r/PurplePillDebate24/07/23 07:17 PM

Need therapy for what exactly? Having a basic understanding of math and an understanding of the interactions I have in my day to day life? I go out a decent amount to bars, social events, but I still get very few interactions with single woman per year in a social environment where she is engaged in the convo. Accounting for compatibility, mutual attraction, and just general luck she’d be interested on that day (not having a girls night or something), I’m getting VERY few possible real life roma…
/r/PurplePillDebate24/07/23 07:11 PM

You’re welcome.
/r/PurplePillDebate24/07/23 06:56 PM

You wouldn’t necessarily know from your interactions, but many single guys you interact with will be thinking it. No way around it
/r/PurplePillDebate24/07/23 06:53 PM

Then don’t. I’m just being realistic about the situation modern dating has created where many guys are left behind romantically and a few men do really well.
/r/PurplePillDebate24/07/23 06:52 PM

I don’t think women really understand the level of romantic loneliness many guys find themselves in nowadays. They can read guys in here talk about it, but I don’t think they really internalise it. I’m at the point where every single real life interaction I have with a single women in a social environment is vitally important, they happen so infrequently that just a single interaction has such massive possible influence on my life. That’s literally where some guys are. Think about that when talk…

/r/PurplePillDebate24/07/23 12:58 AM

I wouldn’t say aside from extreme cases. There’s a lot more than just extreme cases for guys who are ducked for their looks. But there are many guys who’s looks are enough if They literally have perfect internal stares and perfect masculine personalities, so you could say most guys dating struggles can be attributed to that. The problem is the expectations for guys in regards to looks and personality in the early dating stages is insane and many guys aren’t able to hit that. Just a “normal” pers…

/r/PurplePillDebate23/07/23 01:06 AM

Women have unlimited options for casual sex, fwb’s, hookups, but not for monogamous relationships. So a woman cheating in a long term monogamous relationship is a big deal.
/r/PurplePillDebate22/07/23 11:42 PM

Does that mean I can never have a fulfilling relationship because I know those terms?

The dating market is the early dating stages that serves as the beginning for all types of relationships including hookups, fwb, situationships, ltr’s, and just casual dating. And women control that market. Men gaining power in the later stages of an ltr doesn’t change that. The reason why modern women have so much sexual power is they control the beginning stages of all casual AND long term relationships, which blunts the power men would have in the later stages of LTR’s. This ends up giving wo…

Women control the beginning stages but then it begins to even out later when the long term commitment is formed and especially when pregnancy happens. That is when the women desires investment for the child and the man would have more desire to leave and sleep around. Most of the complaining here from men is about the early dating stages when women control it. Are humans the only mammals that form long term relationships?
/r/PurplePillDebate21/07/23 06:18 PM

That’s not really cringe, it’s just a basic understanding of how sexual selection in mammals normally works.
/r/PurplePillDebate21/07/23 05:57 PM

Yeah I’m not really into fat chicks, only time it happens is when they are slightly overweight and they have really good fat allocation genetics and a good body’s type, but that is super rare.
/r/PurplePillDebate21/07/23 05:46 PM

For hinge if you like someone it will specifically show on your profile with “x likes you.” My feed is just people that hinge thinks I might be compatible with not people that actually like me. And since modern dating is so skewed my looksmatch is a 200+ obese women.
/r/PurplePillDebate21/07/23 05:42 PM

So do you go for poor men with “passions” or something?
/r/PurplePillDebate21/07/23 05:26 PM

True, but that’s more because modern dating is so skewed that my looksmatch is an obese woman at this point even though I’m tall and in decent shape.
/r/PurplePillDebate21/07/23 05:22 PM

Ahh yes, because people being sensible and getting useful degrees with good job prospects in an inflationary economy with high levels of wealth and income inequality are just so boring and lame. Fuck em right
/r/PurplePillDebate21/07/23 05:19 PM

But I am 6’5, I am not fat, if anything I would be considered on the thinner side

So what are examples of social places you consider reality then? Bars, clubs, and dating apps are some of the most common places people meet romantically, so you just discounting them so quickly makes no sense and is only used by you because it helps your argument.
/r/PurplePillDebate21/07/23 05:10 PM

The super involved makeup routines for women are like the hardcore bodybuilding for men. It’s for themselves or other women. No problem with it, but it can’t be used as “effort” put in for the opposite sex. Men absolutely like a baseline level of makeup they does not look unnatural but too much will be off putting. Just as women like an in shape guy who has decent muscle mass but too much will be off putting.

The fact that there are around the same amount of women as men in society (actually more men are born than women anyway but it’s very close so we’ll move past that point anyway) does not in any way mean that there are a similar amount of men and women in a specific area, or a similar balance of men and women looking for heterosexual relationships in an area, or a similar amount of straight romantic looking men and women they go to social events. Look at how the covers for some clubs/bars work wh…

They are absolutely more valuable and that is partly because more men go want to go to those places, so those places need more women to make the gender ratio better.

Wow again the massive dodge. You just cannot defend your points, can you? Why is that a ridiculous question?

It really frustrates when people claim “real life” is some romantic utopia where there are always an equal amount of single women and men in an area, an equal amount of single men and women in an area looking for romance, and an equal amount of looking single men and women actually going to social events. The idea that somehow “real life” can’t be affected by these skewed gender ratios is ridiculous. I mean seriously why do some places have covers or higher covers for men and not women? Why do s…
/r/PurplePillDebate18/07/23 11:02 PM

Massive dodge. You’re not answering any of my questions. Again, why is it required for a social area to have a matching gender ratio to be considered “real life?”
/r/PurplePillDebate18/07/23 10:50 PM
1

Just because the gender ratio is heavily skewed does not mean that something is not real life. During certain hours and days, bars and clubs will have a skewed ratio towards males, just like a dating app. Would you then say that those bars/clubs are now not “real life” during those times? Is it required for a social area to have a matching gender ratio to be considered “real life?”
/r/PurplePillDebate18/07/23 10:38 PM
1

Dating apps literally are real life and a decent amount of relationships begin from there. They are inhabited by real people. To say they don’t count as “real” is ridiculous and is just used by you to make your argument look better. Dating apps are awful for men and everybody know it, so instead you just say it doesn’t count as real life as your evidence.

/r/PurplePillDebate11/07/23 09:55 PM

I’ve gotten to that level of closeness with male friends on a couch where there is limited space so it just ends up having to be kinda close and touchy. But I wouldn’t ever do that with male friends without that sort of restriction.
/r/PurplePillDebate11/07/23 08:17 PM

Physically attractive to me would be the person has a combination of physical traits that I find sexually appealing enough to desire sex with the person. Compatible would be if we hit it off from a personality standpoint, like enjoy being around each other, not awkward to hang out together, and also some red flag stuff lien drugs, serious mental health issues, politics, religion, values stuff maybe
/r/PurplePillDebate11/07/23 07:43 PM

I wonder how your are defining emotional intimacy and if it might be a definition that favours female friendships more
/r/PurplePillDebate11/07/23 07:06 PM

Who said men can’t have emotional intimacy in their friendships? I have high levels of emotional intimacy in my strongest male friendships and a couple family ones. If anything, my experience with platonic friendships has been the opposite of the normal reddit opinion that female relationships are stronger (except the physical part which is universally true for me). The strongest platonic friendships bonds I know of tend to be male/male while the platonic friendships with more outward emotional …

Ugly and average people go to music events, we don’t know specifically what it was and how skewed it would be towards attractive people. Well I believe I could still have a fulfilling sex live with someone I had that base desire for, but I don’t think I could have one for women I have no attractions towards. So the no attraction woman would be not compatible at all, while the base attraction woman is still compatible. /r/PurplePillDebate11/07/23 12:32 AM

I agree and would absolutely want the person to be aroused by me. Though I would think that is covered by compatible. I think if the person is not aroused by you, you are not a compatible couple. How can you have a compatible sexual and romantic relationship with one party not having sexual attraction to the other?
/r/PurplePillDebate11/07/23 12:15 AM

If I’m aroused, I’m aroused as well. But there are levels to the arousal, higher physical attraction generally will equal more base arousal, though arousal can also be affected by other things too. So I’d like to find someone that arouses more than to the lowest level based on physical attractiveness. And a looksmatch is more realistic than say an instagram model…

/r/PurplePillDebate10/07/23 11:38 PM

Ok let’s compare Sean o pry and Danny devito? Is Sean o pry objectively more attractive than Danny devito? I guess we could maybe find a couple people who find devito better looking but it’s so small to be not that important. And we have also done a lot of studies and beauty and there is lots of science behind certain traits being more coveted in general. I feel like you’re being wilfully obtuse again by denying the obvious conventional attractiveness traits that exist society that are desired b…
/r/PurplePillDebate10/07/23 11:32 PM

It’s common in any sort of pill community or one where gender and dating dynamics are discussed. It is not used a lot in other areas, so I should have added it’s a common term in these communities. But the dude is posting here so i do generally expect people to know the pill lingo if they’re posting here, and “looksmatch” is a pretty common one overall
/r/PurplePillDebate10/07/23 11:27 PM

Attractiveness is subjective with objective elements. There are physical traits that are almost universally coveted in people to the extent that you can come up with attractiveness leagues pretty easily.
/r/PurplePillDebate10/07/23 11:25 PM

I feel like you are just being wilfully obtuse. Looksmatch is a commonly used phrase, is easy to look up and find definitions for, and is also quite easy to just intuitively understand (looksmatch=person of similar level of attractiveness to myself)
/r/PurplePillDebate10/07/23 11:15 PM

No I am attracted to many women, some of which I’d consider to be below my looks level. A compatible looksmatch is just something I want. I’d be willing to settle for a compatible woman that i at least have some baseline level of attractiveness to. I would not enter into a relationship with someone I have no attractiveness to though, it’d be awful for me and I don’t think fair to the woman either.
/r/PurplePillDebate10/07/23 11:11 PM

I just want an LTR with a compatible person who is my looksmatch but that seems increasingly impossible
/r/PurplePillDebate10/07/23 11:02 PM

They are not psychopaths, TRP is just amoral with the goal being sex for men. Taking advantage of mentally ill women or women with emotional trauma is one of the best ways to do that and also bat heavily out of your league looks wise.

It shouldn't be assumed to be fake, but it also should not be assumed to be real either. The problem is the looksmatched version of your guy self may not be as attractive as you think. It’s much easier to be physically attractive as a women than as a man, men are just way thirstier.
/r/PurplePillDebate08/07/23 01:46 AM

I don’t get the statistics, they don’t fit together. That would mean there are no guys who date and don’t find an LTR? Who only have one ltr? Your stats would tell me that 100% of men have multiple LTR or never date.
/r/PurplePillDebate08/07/23 12:47 AM

I’m 6’5 and see a decent amount of guys in the 6’3-6’5 range, I’d say like above 6’6 is pretty rare for me to see though

I’m that tall and it’s not too uncommon to see guys my height around, especially younger guys
/r/PurplePillDebate08/07/23 12:33 AM

In general it’s the insistence from many women that they are looking for a solid long term partners (want good traits for a long term partner, reliability, loyalty, financial stability, emotional maturity) but are so harsh with men on good traits for short term relationships (looks, game, charisma, excitement, extraversión, sexual prowess). The problem is that woman judge super harshly on the short term stuff while saying they want good long term partners, but their harsh judgments on short term…

/r/PurplePillDebate07/07/23 09:28 PM

You just didn’t understand it which was made abundantly clear by the fact that the argument didn’t have anything to do with having sex with virgins. Go practice some critical thinking and reading comprehension by taking a look at the latest Supreme Court opinions. I heard the one on affirmative action is pretty good.
/r/PurplePillDebate07/07/23 08:46 PM

Yeah I know that is a thing, problem is I’m an atheist and I don’t think the woman would be satisfied knowing I have tried to have sex and failed and I am not attempting to save myself for marriage. I am not a virgin in the way she wants
/r/PurplePillDebate07/07/23 08:39 PM

That’s explicitly untrue and illustrates a massive failure of reading comprehension. I thought you said you were smart and able to read and understand Supreme Court opinions 😅😅😅
/r/PurplePillDebate07/07/23 08:36 PM

Honestly even reading here it’s so obvious how much bias there is against male virgins past early 20s. In this society it’s essentially a forced lie or something you should never disclose. Problem is that my friends know, I should have just made up a casual fling I had in college that is unverifiable.
/r/PurplePillDebate07/07/23 08:21 PM

I think men who care about n count would also select against people who cheated in this past. That just doesn’t get argued about because it’s pretty much universally agreed to be a reasonable red flag. And you admit the temptation part in your post, so don’t you see why that’d be an issue for a Man? If you agree there’s extra temptation, what’s wrong with selecting for n-count?
/r/PurplePillDebate07/07/23 06:31 PM
1

But I’ve explained to you why the experience argument doesn’t actually make sense, it’s a fig leaf, and we could apply to other people like long term married couples in this case. You don’t think the racists would come up with silly justifications for why their racism is ok or why it’s justified to discriminate against black people and not others? You sound like someone being like no we don’t like them moving in, but it’s not because they’re black, it’s because the character of the neighbourhood…

Talk to her, pay attention to her personality, see if red flags pop up, suggest splitting the bill since the common complaint is “being used for money”. Normal vague garbage advice women usually give. If I meet a woman at a social event or on an app where there isn't a ton of conversation before we meet up, it is impossible as a guy to completely verify you're not being manipulated before asking on a date. And if you wait too long you run the risk of losing spark or just not ever meeting the per…
/r/PurplePillDebate07/07/23 06:40 AM

You didn’t even say that the take was wrong lol, also you can’t even explain how to adequately vet a woman before going on a date. What are things I ask a woman on an app, at a bar, or at a social event to gauge whether she is manipulative? How can I be sure she is not lying to me?
/r/PurplePillDebate07/07/23 12:41 AM

Women complain about dating but have different issues. They can get dates and casual sex easily, but it’s tough for them to get a man they’re attracted to commit to them. And they do complain about it a lot, but mostly to their friends and on other social media sites more for women, Reddit is mostly men.
/r/PurplePillDebate06/07/23 11:05 PM

I likely not have not seen THE exact average women who is the most average of all average, but I have seen plenty in the averageish range. They are not really that attractive, but men are really thirsty so we go for them.
/r/PurplePillDebate06/07/23 10:58 PM

Why do you think the average women is any better?
/r/PurplePillDebate06/07/23 10:44 PM

The average women isn’t better. She is 5’4 170 lbs and I doubt makes anything more than the average guy. The problem is we shit heavily on average guys but for some reason there’s this idea they somehow women léveled up and they are better than men.

/r/PurplePillDebate06/07/23 03:50 AM

So cold approaching random women and hoping they say yes? That’s like an online dating success rate and you also can’t really assess for compatibility at all.
/r/PurplePillDebate06/07/23 02:11 AM

What does putting yourself out there mean? It’s just vague garbage
/r/PurplePillDebate06/07/23 02:07 AM

In 2023 you basically have to run hard social circle game or have met a girl from school, community groups (church), the relationships I see that get formed organically like from bars or apps are where the guy is a out of the girls league because it’s hard for a looksmatch guy to woo girls without that social proof.

I’m a perfect docile and undesirable man. Women like their attractive and desirable men to be confident, brash, assertive, and dominant, and the unattractive men to be calm, docile, and passive. An unattractive man with the wrong traits is the worst possible and branded a creep by society.

It's not necessarily a bad thing, but it is true. In a freer, more liberal society, with woman being educated along with men, birth rates will end up crashing. I'm not aware of any society that goes through the processes of industrialization, increased education for women, into a freer, more liberal society, that doesn't have the crashing birth rates. It will end up causing large amounts of economic stagnation and collapse in the future, but that's what women are choosing. I'll be dead for it an…

Not my fault you misinterpret sources.
/r/PurplePillDebate26/06/23 10:17 PM
1

Now you’re just playing word games. The specific claim I want you to prove is that “women who work the same job and with the same performance” are paid 84% of men. That’s not the same thing as saying there is a wage gap. There is absolutely a wage gap between men and women if you just aggregate pay at a population level, but there are many different reasons for why that gap exists.
/r/PurplePillDebate26/06/23 10:16 PM
1

Why are you unable to link me a single article that you believe proves from your claim? If you're saying that you can find a source from googling "wage gap usa," you should be able to find it pretty quickly.
/r/PurplePillDebate26/06/23 10:07 PM

looked up exactly "wage gap usa" and was unable to find anything still. Results were nearly identical to searching "gender pay gap usa."
/r/PurplePillDebate26/06/23 09:58 PM

I googled gender pay gap usa and looked at the first four-five sources and could find no evidence that proved your claim. If you have a special source that proves it, i'd love to see it!
/r/PurplePillDebate26/06/23 09:51 PM
1

I explicitly have not made up my mind, never stated that, or even implied it. I am completely open to the claim you made existing in some capacity. I just have not seen any specific evidence for it. You claim to have seen it, but are unwilling to provide it for some reason.
/r/PurplePillDebate26/06/23 09:44 PM
2

Maybe it’s a respect thing? Women on average get less respect because people know they have it easier, especially in dating. They may see it as easier being a woman, but the journey to possible success is more interesting as a man.
/r/PurplePillDebate26/06/23 09:15 PM
2

Whether I’d be born a man or women is dependent on specific traits I would have. If I were to be born with top tier genetics, I’d for sure rather be a man. Imo it’s better to be a top tier male than a top tier woman. Being average or below in the west is most likely going to be better as a woman though. Though if I were average and were to be born extroverted and charismatic, I’d probably rather be a man. Introverted men suck ass.
/r/PurplePillDebate26/06/23 09:05 PM
1

It’s not even a claim like that, it was literally a statistical claim about women earning x% less than men for working the same job with the the same performance. Told to google it because the info is there, but she couldn’t get it herself…

I feel like the ppd men tend to try to use links and sources more though it is true that many studies are misinterpreted or, which is something I do as well, is come up with explanations for outcomes that are unstated or unproven in the sources. Though at least they are sourcing stuff and coming up with ideas on stuff even if there is a bias. It’s better than just offering a claim and no source
/r/PurplePillDebate26/06/23 08:49 PM

lol at ppd women thinking “the information is available. Go google it” is a reasonable response to a request for a source for a specific claim. What a fucking joke

You sound like a fundamentalist Christian with your undying faith in a wage gap that you’re unable to prove at all.
/r/PurplePillDebate26/06/23 08:34 PM
1

That’s not how any of this works. You made the claim that women working the same job with the same performance as men are paid 84% of what men are and won’t give any sources. It’s your job to show that or else I have no other conclusion than you’re mistaken.
/r/PurplePillDebate26/06/23 08:28 PM
1

I just did a look through on google and was unable to find sources that show what you are claiming. I was able to find a source from the US department of labor that shows women working full time are paid about 84% of what men are in aggregate, but that specifically does not show that women working the same job with the same performance as men are paid 84% of what men are. If that’s what you are citing for the 84%, you are misinterpreting what those numbers are saying.

Teeth are crooked, chin is too large and masculine, and nose is a bit big. Other than those features her face is just plain with no great features so there’s nothing offsetting those bad features, so her face is below average, though I wouldn’t say ugly. The only thing she has in her favor is just not being fat and having a decent looking body but that brings her to averageish imo.
/r/PurplePillDebate26/06/23 07:34 PM

So you get the same type of dude trying to neg, or trying to “push pull” or saying the same old “story (cause dudes don’t even bother trying to make up their own). I haven't seen negging work in practice, so you're probably right that one is bad, but "push pull" can be very effective. it’s like a guy who never even stepped foot in a Frat writing about what he thinks you guys act and talk like. Frat guys that pull are most likely naturals. They don't need to learn it through study/research. Also …

Pick up artistry is literally learning how to improve early stage romantic/sexual social skills. It is creating a good and charming personality for that purpose. There are other social skills, like social skills for work, interviews, friends, networking, family, other social events, serious romantic partners, but PUA focuses on social skills for that one thing in particular. Just dudes learning how to socialize. Again, that is what PUA is, for early stage romantic/sexual endeavors.

I haven't learned the tactics yet, you actually have to do the research, and practice it a lot. Some are naturals, but most aren't and have to learn it. I'm not a natural though. RP/PUA stuff seems to work best for casual sex/casual dating, and I want an LTR, so I have been hesitant to do the PUA/RP tactic stuff, but it seems like you might have to in the earlier stages of dating to have any chance in the beginning. Then you transition later out of it when you secure the LTR.

Wait am I not allowed to observe the tactics in practice? What kind of point is that…
/r/PurplePillDebate26/06/23 04:32 PM

The common counterargument from women when people say RP/PUA tactics don't work is that they only work on abnormal/mentally ill/emotionally damaged women, but I find that to be wrong from personal experience. Haven't used the tactics myself, but I have seen enough from friends that either it works well enough on "normal" women or that "normal" women aren't really enough of the population for it to matter.

If you’re not getting matches you’re not good looking enough. Simple. To increase your chances a bit, put in pictures of yourself with other attractive women or pictures that make you look like you’re rich (doing something expensive). By profile that is attractive enough, I mean are your pics good looking enough. That is a bit subjective and depends on the specific girl, but general traits for male attraction are stuff like strong, square jawline, thick hair and good hairline, big, defined chin,…
/r/PurplePillDebate20/06/23 10:47 PM

Bro there is non cheat code other than have pics that make you look more attractive. People don’t want to look shallow so they say stupid shit like “talk about your hobbies” when people only care about how good your pics look. A profile that is attractive enough will have rationalisations to why they liked the prompts or that it looked like he had interesting hobbies.

/r/PurplePillDebate19/06/23 08:52 PM
2

Your original point was not just your personal opinion. You said men were delusional for thinking that dating got better as they age, and we are explaining to you why they can very easily happen (money!!!), using your own argument about wanting a guy to pay for a date against you.
/r/PurplePillDebate19/06/23 08:40 PM

Lol if the dating pool is ass for women, then it’s like the worst hell imaginable for men.
/r/PurplePillDebate19/06/23 08:33 PM

And many women look horrible at late 20s as well. May people even age in their early 20s like 23/24. But on average there is not a super heavy looks drop off in your late 20s from your early 20s.
/r/PurplePillDebate19/06/23 08:21 PM
2

The dude said he was mid 20s lol. The decline in looks is not heavy enough at mid to late 20s for that to offset the increase in resources. When people say older guys I assume it’s like late 20s/early 30s which is where guys normally have good resources and their looks aren’t peak but still good. It isn’t until mid 30s where the looks drop off starts getting real bad.
/r/PurplePillDebate19/06/23 08:16 PM

Rising cost of living is one of the reasons why dating is harder on men, so yeah I agree with you.
/r/PurplePillDebate19/06/23 06:36 PM

The last three are decided upon by men themselves. Men give women value in the dating market and vice versa for women. So if men do FEEL that women in their 20s are more valuable, then it’s true because they are the ones who give value to women.

You answered one aspect of ny post without considering the whole answer. If marriage rates were falling without the huge increase in single and childless women, falling birth rates, and even the lower amount of sexual activity people are having now, I wouldn’t care. But if all the other things are happening together, less sex, less children, less marriage, less coupling, what does that tell you about the dating market? It’s all pre…
/r/PurplePillDebate19/06/23 06:20 PM

That means nothing. It’s tautological. Everyone’s standards are effectively that they want to date the person. Saying high standards is just about how much is required for the person to become a want.
/r/PurplePillDebate19/06/23 06:07 PM
5

Why are marriage rates massively declining now? Why is the birth rate collapsing? Why is the % of single women at 30 expected to keep climbing and be st it’s highest in 2030? People were fucking and getting together more before modern times. There are many possible reasons for this, some good, some bad, but they is the reality of the situation.
/r/PurplePillDebate19/06/23 06:05 PM
4

Yes, it was. I’m saying nothing about the standards of living and healthcare of the times, which have obviously increased tremendously. But the dating market for men has gotten substantially harder to navigate in modern times. I’d still rather live now, but it’s just one aspect that is harder.
/r/PurplePillDebate19/06/23 05:47 PM

No necessarily. People don’t only take PED’s for the visual appearance. Many athletes take it for functional strength, explosiveness, and decreased recovery time. Not all of these athletes necessarily have a specific look that would automatically tell you , oh they are on steroids. Do you remember the steroid era in baseball? You could not tell directly by looking at those people that they were juiced, but they were and their performance in the field showed it, not their appearance.

Most men can’t just voluntarily leave the dating pool without it fucking them over. Our sexual drives are too high. More women can do it than men, which is really the main cause if of the gender issues in dating. Women just case less
/r/PurplePillDebate16/06/23 11:36 PM

lots of women don’t want to date/want to opt out of dating. why does that bother men? Because then less single looking women are in the dating pool, so it skews the ratio of looking men to women in favor of women.

They're both generally negative, but small penis size is seen as worse overall. Penis size/boobs isn't a perfect physical trait comparison. The actual best comparison would be penis size/vagina thickness (tight/loose pussy)
/r/PurplePillDebate16/06/23 07:49 PM
1

I think the boob one is definitely a dick thing to say and shouldn't be a norm (if it truly is, which I don't think it actually is necessarily), but the penis one is worse for a couple of reasons. One, the penis is more important for the pleasure in traditional sex, while small breasts aren't really that important, it's just for appearance. So the smaller penis comment is one that can eat away at a guy that he can never really perform as well a guy who's bigger. That doesn't really exist for a s…

A woman should never say that to a guy if he has a smaller/average dick. It just seems like a comment made without any tact. It would be similar to saying to a girl with small breasts that big boobs are just a bonus. It would probably lead to insecurities in the person receiving the comment. So, I would think the women lacks some level of emotional intelligence if she says something like that, I guess? Maybe lacks empathy in some way? Isn't that attracted to me? I do that as well sometimes, going to trendy bars in the city. Do you just walk up and start talking to a group of three girls in that setting? Like I’m confused how I would actually approach these people in a non awkward manner.

/r/PurplePillDebate15/06/23 10:34 PM

I completely understand the issues black women have, I have a lot of white friends who say they are not attracted to black women and wouldnt date them. I would date one for sure but I am mostly attracted to lighter skinned black women myself, though I have seen darker skinned black women I am attracted to as well.
/r/PurplePillDebate15/06/23 07:06 PM

I really struggle to rate myself, I feel like it’s hard to be objective about myself especially my face. I think my face is average but I am really tall and pretty fit, so I would say a 6. And I’m 28
/r/PurplePillDebate15/06/23 07:04 PM

Where are these women going to meet quality men? Are they on apps? Are they swiping on 5% of guys on apps or are they giving average looking guys a a chance at all on an app? Are they approaching men at all in real life areas like bars, parks, stores? Or just expected to be approached themselves?
/r/PurplePillDebate15/06/23 06:46 PM

Waiting or working in retail in college or even like right after college is no issue. It’s the post college career, especially if the person is late 20s and still working in those areas with no other goals that gives me the ick. And I get a pretty young woman can make a lot as a waitress or a hostess. But can they do that twenty years from now when their looks and youth fade? How are the benefits in a waiting job? The benefits of a teaching job and long term stability will be more beneficial for…
/r/PurplePillDebate15/06/23 06:28 PM

Decent career is some job that is not dead end, so it has some level of upward growth. If it doesn’t have the upward growth, I’d like to see some reason for that like a passion for the job (teaching would be a great example). The ubiquitous women who don’t know what they want to do constantly in service like waiting at restaurants or in retail is a bit of a turn off NGL. Intelligent would look like being able to hold interesting conversations on topics like politics, history, philosophy, etc. I …

/r/PurplePillDebate15/06/23 05:16 PM

I just want a woman with a decent career, is intelligent, who is reasonably attractive, doesn’t have kids, wants a family and I get along with for an LTR. Is that too high of standards? I also got all of those myself except possibly the attractiveness part but that is too subjective for me to truly know.
/r/PurplePillDebate15/06/23 05:12 PM

If too many men go unwanted and unpaired, then they stop playing productive roles in society and go off doing drugs, playing video games all day, getting violent. It’s a complete society killer. But if that is what women want, then they can have it.

/r/PurplePillDebate10/06/23 11:29 PM

For the purposes of an LTR (which I am looking for) it 100% matters to me. A woman's income can completely change the type of lifestyle we can live, the places we can live, the schools we could send our kids, the vacations we can go on. It is 100% relevant.
/r/PurplePillDebate10/06/23 11:14 PM

Wait but hold on a sec, are you even overweight at 175 lbs? Like if you're super tall, being 175 could be fine and 100 would be like deathly skinny. Idk what your height and bmi are, nor how much muscle mass you have.
/r/PurplePillDebate10/06/23 12:33 AM
1

You don't think 25 pounds has an impact on dating?? On a normal woman's body, that's a significant amount of weight and will make the person look massively different, and change their attractiveness level. I'm 200+ and 25 pounds for me either losing or gaining would drastically change the way I look, it would be even more significant for a woman. Next, are you going to tell me that attractiveness doesn't matter or something?
/r/PurplePillDebate10/06/23 12:21 AM

Ok, let's start with the easiest one. Are you meaning to tell me that you believe that the statement "being overweight makes you on net less attractive" is a myth? If you actually believe that statement is a myth, I think that's just a highly unserious statement and effectively arguing in bad faith. That's getting to 2+2=5 levels of ridiculousness. It's like 1984 levels of gaslighting bullshit.
/r/PurplePillDebate09/06/23 11:59 PM

bro seriously, go to any news site and read the front page. I actually sorta envy you if you actually don't know what i'm talking about lol
/r/PurplePillDebate09/06/23 11:54 PM

The only one i'll give you is travelling. The others are either on net less attractive (tattoos/overweight/aging) or do actually make it harder to pair bond/emotionally attach (number of sexual partners, but that goes for men as well). I'm not saying those things are necessarily bad, but they will make finding a man you're attracted to, and then a happy relationship harder. But if you like tattoos, are fine being overweight, and like having sex with many different people, go for it.
/r/PurplePillDebate09/06/23 11:16 PM

All that stuff just makes it harder, not impossible. I don't doubt your lived experience.
/r/PurplePillDebate09/06/23 11:05 PM

the walls are ACTUALLY closing in on trump this time, amazing.
/r/PurplePillDebate09/06/23 10:55 PM

I shouldn't have even found a man, be attracted to him, or be in a happy relationship. Why would you be unable to find a man or happy relationship according to this sub? This sub pushes that women have it way easier than men.
/r/PurplePillDebate09/06/23 10:53 PM

as EITHER gender. It's hard for me to conceptualize it when I just don't see it. It's hard for me to consider myself NOT above average, in the most objective elements of male attractiveness, (height, money, job, bf%, muscle mass), I am solidly above average in all. I don't think my face is really THAT ugly, but I guess it must be? I don't know? I also have a passive personality and am not very assertive, which I know is killer, but it's hard to change.
/r/PurplePillDebate09/06/23 08:01 PM

much trauma? depends on the girl. but honestly if ur above average the world is your oyster. dating You mean as a girl being above average dating is so easy? Interesting you'd admit that, because it seems like most women i talk to (even here), but also some IRL are reluctant to admit that.
/r/PurplePillDebate09/06/23 07:51 PM

yeah i’ll admit lots of women are too lazy/opting out of dating. Can I ask why lots of women are opting out? I want to better understand the woman perspective on why the dating market is bad for them.
/r/PurplePillDebate09/06/23 07:40 PM

I think a lot of men go in to dating with the idea of finding a relationship. However, if they don't feel like having a relationship with the girl for whatever reason, the vast majority of men would definitely want to continue a casual relationship if they thought she was attractive enough for that. Is that wrong? I don't think so, as long as it's not deceiving. Men like sex... I'd say I fall into that camp as well. Goal is LTR, but a fun casual relationship would be something fun to do while lo…

There are profiles like that for sure, and it's really stupid of a guy to do that. I sometimes switch my profile to search for straight guys to see my competition or to gay men for a quick validation boost (lol), so I know that many men's profiles suck as well. The issue I have is the assumption that if you're getting few matches that "oh your profile must be rants or these crazy standards you have." That comment shows an inaccurate understanding of what is going on in OLD.

/r/PurplePillDebate08/06/23 09:47 PM

Usually if a woman is being very forward or being very responsive on the app, they are from a different country and culture and don’t really understand American dating culture. Problem with those woman is they aren’t fluent in English or understand American culture very well, so the convo is kinda dry and boring.
/r/PurplePillDebate08/06/23 09:33 PM
1

If what you are saying is true then you are the true unicorn of unicorns. You would instantly become one of my favorite people and honestly I’d respect you forever. It’s that bad on apps that you’d instantly become one of the most responsive women I’ve ever seen on an app to the extent where I’d think you were really desperate or had something horribly wrong with you that was causing you to behave that way.
/r/PurplePillDebate08/06/23 09:20 PM
1

So for those 15 likes in the first couple of hours did you first message 7-8 of them and then continue on a conversation for several days with them before letting it fizzle if they didn’t ask you out?
/r/PurplePillDebate08/06/23 08:57 PM
1

Your girlfriend was getting matches, she was just comparing her normal rate to what you got right at the beginning when you make a profile. Everyone gets more matches in the beginning even men.
/r/PurplePillDebate08/06/23 08:45 PM
1

Your stories just sound fake. Even the blue pilled PPD women here would agree woman gets loads of matches, especially a 6-7 woman in a major U.S. city. That comment is actually the one that convinced me the most that you’re capping somehow.
/r/PurplePillDebate08/06/23 08:35 PM

Wait you’re telling me a girl who is 6-7 in looks (relatively equal to looks as you) found it hard to get matches in a major U.S. city? Wtf? And I live in one of the biggest U.S. cities lol If you go and try making a reasonable, realistic profile for a 5-6 guy and try swiping and using it, you will understand fully why I am reacting the way I am to your story. It is legitimately mind blowing like you wouldn’t believe.
/r/PurplePillDebate08/06/23 08:29 PM

You’re telling me that as a 6 in a major U.S. city you would message guys you consider to be your looksmatch about half the time? There might be something missing in the convo here, like you’re misrating either the guys or yourself, or you’re not remembering, or you’re just outright being deceiving. But I literally don’t believe you for a second. I know that’s not a great answer, but it’s just my real take.
/r/PurplePillDebate08/06/23 08:22 PM

Then you’re probably a very attractive person swiping on other very attractive people with options on the app. You’re at a point where the guys you’re swiping on do well enough where they actually get some power themselves from being so attractive (8+). 90%+ of the men on the app don’t have that experience so it’s kinda hard to use that as the barometer of what dating apps are like.
/r/PurplePillDebate08/06/23 08:07 PM

My experience is completely and utterly opposed to yours. I’m not sure how you could possibly come to any other conclusion based on my experience on apps over the past three years. Are the guys you’re with much more attractive than you? I barely get any matches, and Like 90% of matches I get fizzle from the woman who stops replying. And the guys I’ve talked to agree as well.
/r/PurplePillDebate08/06/23 07:56 PM

Well women dictate everything in the early dating states, especially on apps. Later on it will get more equal. Remember though most of the guys here and the guys complaining about the issue are unable to get past the beginning stage where women tule everything…. So it sorta makes sense why they think that
/r/PurplePillDebate08/06/23 07:50 PM

95% of rich people are not dumb assholes.
/r/PurplePillDebate08/06/23 07:29 PM

I assume when someone says what their league is it is assumed to be context dependent, location, time, age group. If their was some dude in an old folks home who was pretty attractive (basically just got fit and no ED lol) then I would call him an 8 in his lane, but the guy would not be an 8 trying to date in the young person scene in an American urban area.
/r/PurplePillDebate08/06/23 04:48 PM

I am going to continue on with the date for sure, I just assume I will find some issue with her down the line, she’s way too hot for her to be interested in me, especially on an app where she has access to loads of guys

Good luck, I hope you don’t fuck up the earth for future generations. It’s honestly a big responsibility, some women may not want it.
/r/PurplePillDebate06/06/23 07:36 PM

Interactions between sexes are transactional and always negotiations of which leverage is always useful. Men have basically no leverage left except for their physically attractiveness or if you have natural charisma.
/r/PurplePillDebate06/06/23 07:26 PM

Everything is inherently transactional. It’s not necessarily a fight for power, it’s more of a negotiation. I have nothing to offer a modern, educated woman who works, specifically if you are not physically attractive.
/r/PurplePillDebate06/06/23 07:24 PM

I have no power or leverage in a conversation with a woman. I am completely at their mercy in every interaction. It is now a woman’s world and men are just living in it. With the collapse of physical strength being relevant in modern contexts and the empowerment of women in education and the workforce, men have become increasingly useless in the modern world. Women are now the ones giving birth, still the primary caregivers, and all working equally with men. The social, cultural, and sexual powe…

If a woman has a slim body and a face that is relatively attractive, then she will constantly have options with guys much, much better than me. I need to find girls that are butterfaces or a little chubby with decent facial features. I need to find people where better guys will be put off but at least has a bit of attraction to me. I was reading askwomenover30 and some of the comments were delusional. They were complaining about apps, and were like “men know they can have a situatinshiop with pretty girls any time they want by just downloading apps.” I’m like what delusional world do you have to be in to think most guys can do that on dating apps. One common point from PPD women is that RP strategies work, but only on specific women, commonly women with trauma or mental health issues. The problem with this point is that it is actually a MUCH bigger pool than anyone realizes. Some data has recently come out showing the number of women who who consider themselves to have a mental illness is at all time highs, especially young liberal women (it's high for men too as well). So if a PPD women says RP strategies only work on specific women, in …

Plenty of people can have fine social skills and a good social life without those traits. That personality is needed to attract women though.

Despite never having a girlfriend or having sex, I really don't feel that bad about myself. I have just about everything else going for me, so I'm wondering if it's really worth it to even expend that much energy into women, when you have to put so much effort/investment in and the reward doesn't seem worth it. What's the male equivalent of a cat lady? I may just run that sorta lifestyle.

No and in not what you mean. Some job seekers may be narcissists if they have a very inflated view of their worth in the market, but not everyone does.

Women have a selection problem I believe. There aren’t really that many super good looking guys out there so they do end up with average guys a lot of the time. But they like confidence right? But those average guys with confidence still strike out a shit ton, but they stay confident. Why? Because they’re narcissists. Who else would stay confident after all that rejection? Women are basically selecting for attractive guys and average narcissists.

Dating advice for women is completely different than for men. Men need to get better at improving their odds of being selected (as the active players in the process), while women need to improve their ability to do the selecting (as the passive players doing the selecting) there’s no reason to ask a woman on how to get better at a man’s job because they have no idea how to do it.

The vast majority of dating advice is horseshit, especially from women because they can’t really conceptualise dating from a man’s perspective.

What does "you are not that BAD LOOKING mean??" I think the problem is that there are fuck ton of 5-6/10 men (or average to slightly above average-ish men) who are not BAD looking by pretty much any metric, but don't really do it for most girls. So, people will say "you're not bad looking, it's not your looks," which is true, but being a 5-6/10 just isn't enough to attract most women. There are load of these man with plain, but not ugly features, an average but not muscular body that are not ugl…

From their own perspective, woman also hate the dating scene just as much as men do. I might be biased, and I think overall men have it worse, but I still think it sucks for them too. Most of them want a relationship, but they are only really attracted to top tier guys. They can fuck them, but most woman don't really care about casual sex. They have it, so it doesn't matter to them. If I actually got casual sex as a guy, I don't think I'd care either. Sex in a relationship with someone you have …

lol 20s women have ridiculous amounts of competition. Everyone wants to date women in their 20s including all of the attractive guys in their late 20s, 30s, and 40s. That shit is hard as fuck

I am the same way and will live the same life. No one cares about you or your problems. Just enjoy life the best you can with your friends and family, and your hobbies. There's nothing else to be done. There's no answer to women not desiring you. It can't be negotiated.

Money in mid 30s for men in the LTR game is insanely important to success. Not quite to the level of looks but it is close. I went to this wedding with a lot of well off dudes in their 30s and you see average faces, not great fitness, bad bodies, bad hairlines, but they got that bread. And they are with some pretty attractive wives who are their age and a bit younger though, not like early 20s. Boys if you want to LTR in your 30s, get that bread!!!!

what made you OK with doing it in the first place? Why would you do such a thing? Needed to get some experience, but couldn't get it without using escorts. Was she not a person to you, who was better than being bought for money? What do you mean, she's a professional performing a service, nothing more.

How unethical is losing your virginity to an escort and having your only sexual experience be with escorts and not disclosing that to an LTR? Like to the grave level of not disclosing. To the woman here: If a man disclosed in an LTR relationship that he had lost his virginity to an escort and that his only sexual experience was with escorts, would that be an auto-break up?
