Yeah that’s online dating’s biggest weakness. Bad photos results in no dates.

Men don’t have to try. Women complain, but I go out and see the same bearded, unkempt, baseball-cap wearing guys with women. Why try when women will still hook up with you, even though they complain?

And even most relationships with a close-in-age gap end in a breakup, so it’s ultimately pointless to worry about it.

When it comes to getting laid, physical attraction is king. But when it comes to relationships, being physically attractive is much more important for a woman than a man, in my experience.

What made you swipe left?

I don't know, plenty of women over 30 find money to be attractive, or at least a man with money.
/r/PurplePillDebate09/09/21 04:36 PM

That last part is true, which means most of your professionals and other high-income earners are from upper-middle-class backgrounds.
/r/PurplePillDebate08/09/21 07:49 PM
2

Sorry to hear about the abuse. If I were looking for a wife I would consider income, but since I’m not I don’t have a problem dating a woman with almost any income level. As long as she isn’t flat broke or long-term unemployed.
/r/PurplePillDebate08/09/21 06:34 PM

I make around $65k a year so in the same salary range or more (I would consider $55k+ to be reasonable) So you're saying you wouldn't date or marry a man who made $75K+ or more?
/r/PurplePillDebate08/09/21 05:01 PM

Well the more interesting thing to me is did these people come from the same social class? They might all belong to the same class of professional high-income earners now, but that doesn't mean they all grew up in upper-middle-class or upper-class households.

I don't know about MGTOW and all that, but I think it's good advice to never hook up with a girl while either of you is drunk. This isn't the 70s; there's just too much at stake to be as reckless as people used to be.
/r/PurplePillDebate08/09/21 04:40 PM

So what, are excess girls staying single, or are they dating guys who aren't in college?
/r/PurplePillDebate08/09/21 04:37 PM

but I’m in my 20s and own a vagina and the men on this sub have reassured me this means 99% of men find me desirable. Finding you desirable enough to fuck =/= finding you desirable as a partner.

Oh making money is so easy, I guess we can just forget that the vast, vast majority of folks aren't making lots of money.

Well yeah that's a huge gap in life experience (even though it's technically legal). I'm not talking about that, of course.

Yet women complain that men have boring openers. Well, Bumble is their chance to show how creative they are. What's that? They're just as boring with conversation starters as men? Lol

Yes, because someone can't play video games and have social hobbies. Lol

IKR? Women are shocked this sometimes happens to them, but it's a common thing for lots of men.

Nope, I'm going off my own personal experience, as well as the experience of other guys I know. Your assumption is way off. You said employment shouldn't be talked about before the second date. I argue that a person's career is a topic of discussion early on (first or second date), especially between people over 30 who are dating and/or want to get married right away. Edit: Also, if you list your occupation in your profile, there are people who won't even go on a first date with you if they don'…

Then you aren't an American or are still very young. First, when it comes to online dating, a lot of people's bios have their occupation in it, unless they're still in school. So talking about a person's job comes up pretty early on. Another thing, people over 30 tend to feel like they have less time, especially if they are looking to get married soon. So talking about a person's profession happens by the first or second date for those who don't want to waste time, or those who don't want to fal…

Actually, unemployment and under-employment are major reasons why so many men are considered unattractive to women.

IMO the red pill and other pua strategies succeed no more than if you just went out without training and approached women day after day. Meaning pickup is a numbers game. The best pua guys have a success rate of 1-3 percent IIRC, and they have to approach 100s of women to even get a handful of dates. I believe PUA and the Red Pill give discouraged men just enough confidence to approach and talk to women. You can do this without the Red Pill.
/r/ExRedPill13/12/20 05:20 PM

I was never really into the red pill, but I did do a bit of research when I first heard about it and was interested. I also watched a bunch of YouTube videos by manosphere figures. It didn’t take too much digging for me to decide that the red pill is misogynistic and infused with right-wing politics. I also looked into MGTOW and was thoroughly disappointed. I thought these groups would be discussing how to best live a single life. For instance I thought they would be discussing ways to deal with…

Why do you tell yourself men are only looking at you because they’re horny due to quarantine? That sounds like insecurity and selling yourself short. As a man, I tend to look at women I find either attractive or interesting. I did so before the pandemic, so at least for me it has nothing to do with being desperate.
/r/seduction15/11/20 02:45 AM

Looking significantly younger than your age can be as much of a disadvantage as it can be an advantage.
/r/seduction15/11/20 02:39 AM

This can be an issue IME. A lot of misunderstands can happen when you’re older but look significantly younger.
/r/seduction15/11/20 02:36 AM

A bit, since I’ve always done best in bars and clubs. Most of those are either closed or only open until 10 PM in my city. I’m a decent-looking guy, but I haven’t had much luck on dating apps tbh. And I don’t go to college (i finished a long time ago), so I don’t have access to a bunch of single women without kids. All in all it kinda sucks. But this will just give me time to work on myself until things get a bit better next summer.

If you’re unattractive then being fit doesn’t make you that much more attractive, but it’s still good to work out because you’ll be healthier in the long run.
/r/seduction12/11/20 05:26 PM

If you’re unattractive then not really, although it’s still important to be healthy. If you’re attractive then yes, but mostly because being in shape makes you feel good and more confident.

I agree that a person’s attractiveness varies, especially when it comes to niche social groups. But a conventionally attractive person will be considered good looking by more people than someone who appeals to a small subset. I think you just have to find your niche.

Between social circle and OLD, many women these days see being approached in public as a hassle or inconvenience. I can’t speak for anyone else, but this seems to the experience of myself and my friends. Why bother with strangers IRL when even an average woman has 1,000 DMs in her OLD profile and thirsty men her fiends, family and coworkers can introduce her to?
/r/seduction19/10/20 04:27 PM

Have you tried dating younger women?
/r/seduction29/09/20 06:33 PM

Especially when young and especially in OLD.
/r/seduction29/09/20 04:35 PM
2

Maybe it’s just me, but social circle gets tough when you’re over 35. So is OLD (unless you’re OK with dating single moms).
/r/seduction29/09/20 04:26 PM

I’m a little younger than you (early 40s), but I never had kids or married. Because of this I prefer not to seriously date women with children. What sucks is so many women over 35 have kids. Lol
/r/seduction29/09/20 03:01 PM

Do you have kids? And do you date women who have kids?

Harder of course with the pandemic. My best bets were bars and social venues if I got good eye contact.
/r/seduction25/09/20 04:28 AM

How old are you? It seems apps work better for people under 30 than for those older.
/r/seduction04/09/20 03:32 AM

“Hot af high-libido woman”? Lol
/r/seduction10/08/20 02:55 AM

This could be either a great idea or a very bad idea.
/r/seduction23/07/20 03:00 PM

I’m early 40s and am interesting in a similar age range (late 20s up to about my age). Even before COVID it seemed like most women just weren’t out doing things in my area (Western metro area of about 2.8 million), and most of the bars were full of college-aged girls.
/r/seduction19/07/20 05:49 PM

35 and so drunk she had to leave a party? She’s a keeper! /s
/r/seduction19/07/20 05:40 PM

How old are you? In my experience women 23-40 aren’t out all that much.
/r/seduction19/07/20 05:32 PM

Same age doesn’t equal same maturity level. Lol. Actually age isn’t a very good indicator of much (as long as both are over 25).

I just don’t understand a) how things got so mismatched clusterfuck b) how we can regain balance I don't know the answer to B, but A can be explained by (1) there are way more thirsty men on dating apps than women, and (2) most of the physically attractive and/or high-income guys are matching with lots of women only to have sex with them. Both 1 and 2 lead women on dating apps to believe they are more attractive than they really are.
/r/seduction13/12/19 10:04 PM

Yeah OLD is fucking broken, especially for men who aren't very good looking or have great careers.
/r/seduction13/12/19 06:36 PM

“Yeah a lot of guys will try to sleep with anyone.”
/r/seduction12/12/19 06:01 PM

I guess you’ll have to find a woman who is ok being a side chick if you’re with a man already.
/r/seduction07/12/19 08:18 PM

Yeah this is what I found in my short time on dating apps. I’m a good-looking guy (I’ve been told plus I have more than a few attractive women looking at me wherever I go), tall, and in good shape, yet all I can find on dating apps are women I would never think of approaching IRL. And the halfway attractive women i do match with don’t message back, or they’re uninteresting. I think dating apps worked much better 15+ years ago. They’re now for unattractive and/or overweight women to have sex with…
/r/seduction05/12/19 06:15 PM

Text game. Lol. Meeting irl is better than texting endlessly. Women who do that are after attention and an ego boost.
/r/seduction05/12/19 06:08 PM
5

You actually get women to meet with you after only five texts?
/r/seduction05/12/19 05:32 PM
1

It's both good and bad. One positive is much younger women show me more interest than I think they would if I looked like the average overweight, balding, stressed-out 43-year-old guy. At the same time, I've had younger women pull back from me when I told them my real age. Also, there were times in my 20s when women my own age ignored me because they thought I was much younger because of my looks.
/r/seduction04/12/19 07:31 PM
1

This can be tricky if you really do look younger than you age. I'm 43 but get mistaken for being anywhere from late 20s to mid 30s. There's no way to know what she thinks of you except to talk to her. I've had some girls ask my age right away, while others never really seemed to care.
/r/seduction04/12/19 07:22 PM

Videos showing guys practicing day game always show them doing approach after approach after approach in rapid succession, but editing is covering how much time is really spent just moving from place to place, and there's never any context Editing also doesn't show these guys getting blown out or rudely shut down.
/r/seduction04/12/19 07:17 PM

Your relationship is doomed if you want sex all the time and he doesn’t.

Late bloomer? At 22? I’d say 30 + is more late bloomer. You’re doing OK
/r/seduction29/11/19 08:00 PM

Gym guy sounds like a stalker.
/r/seduction27/11/19 03:02 PM

I’m amazed at how many people ignore this advice and continue to try to pick up at the gym or at work.
/r/seduction26/11/19 07:54 PM

So we have an over-30 woman here who isn’t getting the attention she got in college and her early 20s? And I’m sorry but you’re more like an 8 than a 9-10. Just being honest. Anyway, I’m not against your advice, I think it comes from a good place. I just think it’s overly simplistic and a little self-serving.
/r/seduction26/11/19 03:17 PM

Heh I also grew up in a small town and hated it as well. I wasn't into the outdoors or rock climbing or camping so I had a hard time getting girls when young.
/r/seduction23/11/19 03:28 AM
2

Abundance mindset is realizing that there is no need to be hooked on one woman because there are many more out there.
/r/seduction20/11/19 06:26 PM

IDK. Maybe it just comes down to confidence; i.e. attractive women are more confident than average (or non-attractive) ones and they are used to attention from men. Also, really attractive women are used to most men not having the courage to even make eye contact, much less flirt, with them.
/r/seduction19/11/19 01:48 AM

I have a similar experience. Average women hardly give me the time of day, but what I consider to be 8-10s are much more receptive with things like eye contact and casual conversation.
/r/seduction18/11/19 04:57 PM
2

I agree. I read all I could about the subject, but it didn’t mean anything until I stared approaching women. I’m not hitting up 10 girls a day, but I’m talking to women I used to think I’d never speak to in a million years.
/r/seduction15/11/19 03:18 PM
1

Game is basically exposure therapy. You build up your confidence then force yourself to approach women until the terror of it doesn’t affect you anymore. Exposure therapy is a valid tool to deal with anxiety and such like agoraphobia.
/r/seduction15/11/19 03:13 PM

Women don’t want to be approached by certain men and/or in certain contexts/situations.
/r/seduction14/11/19 03:23 PM

I get what you're saying, but you have to be careful and not come off as someone who took a class or joined a group solely to hook up with women.
/r/seduction12/11/19 12:56 AM

My guess is that Instagram “model” will change her tune when she gets older and more experienced. Or she won’t and will have one chaotic relationship after another.
/r/seduction01/11/19 09:01 PM
2

She's young and dumb. Going for guys who "treat you like crap" is garbage. I agree that most intelligent, confident women don't want a doormat (i.e. "white knight"), but most well-adjusted women don't want a guy who treats them like crap.
/r/seduction01/11/19 04:34 PM

IDK it seems like he says whatever crap is on his mind. A lot of it is nonsensical, but he does it in a playful way.
/r/seduction31/10/19 02:14 AM
1

I’m the same as you. That is women find me physically attractive but I’ve always been mediocre at banter, flirting and small talk.
/r/seduction27/10/19 03:54 PM
1

Maybe. But I feel that I could have asked one or two girls out if I had wanted to. I might have been turned down, but I don’t think I would have been viewed as a creep because I wasn’t there transparently hunting for younger women.
/r/seduction26/10/19 11:50 PM

I’m 43 but look 30-35. I don’t try to hit on college girls on campus, though, but I’ve met some girls there from time to time just doing my thing at the library.
/r/seduction26/10/19 11:35 PM

Say you are thinking of going back to school and are checking out the campus. Also, the university in my town has a library that is open to the public. I go there from time to time.
/r/seduction26/10/19 10:37 PM
8

I don't know, but doing all of that is good for you, so keep it up!
/r/seduction23/10/19 12:00 AM
1

It is a gamble approaching women in this day and age. What one woman find creepy another might think is attractive or cute or whatever.
/r/seduction22/10/19 11:40 PM

Yeah you're right, flirting isn't a big deal, and I make eye contact and talk to just about any woman I come across whom I find attractive. However, sometimes I backslide on the eye contact because I'm naturally kind of shy. Plus some women lie about having a boyfriend, or they have a guy they're seeing but they don't think of him as a LTR.
/r/seduction30/04/19 11:53 PM
1

I've always had a theory that some people run 'niche' game. Doesn't matter what it is. But if a girl can look at you and instantly 'put you into a box' it almost guarantees that some girls will be into you! (that could be a jock or a nerd or a rocker or a biker etc) That's my theory. Niche games can work. I'm from the Mountain West states, and rock climbing is a huge subculture here. If you climb (or do anything outdoors with a passion) would can meet a lot of people.
/r/seduction30/04/19 10:42 PM

Uh, if you're over 18 and she's with her mother then don't approach, Lol
/r/seduction30/04/19 10:15 PM

Where do you work? I work part-time in retail, where there are a huge number of women but most of them are already taken.
/r/seduction30/04/19 09:56 PM

How old are you? Do you find man young women receptive to a guy your age?
/r/seduction30/04/19 09:52 PM
1

Fair enough. There are many reasons why relationships don't last; a large age gap is just one of them.
/r/seduction27/04/19 12:52 AM
2

Do you have any hobbies? If not is there anything you'd like to do that you could explore as a hobby? Do you read?
/r/seduction25/04/19 09:48 PM

I can promise you that the relationship will eventually fail—maybe next year, or a decade from now. This goes for the majority of relationships, btw. So many close-in-age couples I know were divorced by the 10-to-15-year mark.
/r/seduction25/04/19 09:38 PM
3

Unfortunately how much a man makes matters very much to a lot of women, especially career-oriented women IMO. They'll say money doesn't matter, but we all know that it does. But don't let that stop you; there are women out there who don't care how much you make as long as you are supporting yourself or working on supporting yourself.
/r/seduction25/04/19 09:08 PM
19

I'm not sure. I'm older than you are and also get substantially more IOIs from girls under 25 or so than over 30. I figure most women over a certain age are married or in a LTR, so they aren't out trying to flirt with men. Also those who are ambitious are putting all their time and energy into their career at that age. Some also have young children, which take lots of time and energy on top of a job. And, this is just my experience, but single women 28+ start to feel the clock ticking and are lo…
/r/seduction25/04/19 04:26 AM
1

Maybe it’s just my experience but I think women in general are a lot bolder than men when it comes eye contact.
/r/seduction25/04/19 02:20 AM

Do you know if the increase in female attention was due to your new physique or to increased confidence?
/r/seduction15/04/19 07:44 PM

You can try one more time, especially if she liked your IG post after you sent her your last text. If she doesn't respond then I'd consider her a lost cause.
/r/seduction27/03/19 07:04 PM
1

How about just keep your social skills sharp by approaching or making small talk with strangers? You can have a conversation with a woman, maybe even flirt a little, without getting her phone number or seeing her later.
/r/seduction27/03/19 07:00 PM
1

Maybe in getting attention initially, but your personality and confidence are what matter in keeping a woman interested in you.
/r/seduction27/03/19 06:56 PM

I think men are much better than women at compartmentalizing their emotions and sex. I think this is even more true if a guy has casual sex with a woman he isn't really attracted to. Remember, men lower their standards for casual sex and raise them for relationships. However, I can't generalize everyone. I've known some guys who ended up in relationships with women they had a one-night stand with. It can happen.
/r/seduction02/03/19 10:10 PM

Interesting. Doesn't this create a social situation then? Where the very attractive men can get copious quantities of sex? Yeah. It gives rise to the 80-20 hypothesis, which says that "80 percent of women pursue the top 20 percent of men". I don't necessarily agree with the 80-20 "rule", but I do think that the most physically attractive men are definitely in higher demand when it comes to casual sex.
/r/seduction02/03/19 09:56 PM

It's a tabloid, but it refers to a study that backs up what I say: When looking for casual sex, women raise their physical standards, whereas men lower theirs. I've seen similar results elsewhere.
/r/seduction02/03/19 09:34 PM

I agree. The OP must not got outside, because every day I see women (some of them fairly attractive) with guys who aren't at their level of physical attractiveness. Half the time I wonder how the hell they met. For casual sex and one-night stands women do raise their standards, but they lower those standards for relationships. This, btw, is the exact opposite of what men do. We tend to lower our standards for casual sex and raise them for relationships.
/r/seduction02/03/19 09:22 PM

I agree. And it seems to get worse the older women get. It was supposed to be that making their own money would allow women to date and/or marry anyone they wanted, the Wall Street exec or the carpenter. However, the more money a woman makes, and the higher her educational attainment, the smaller her pool of potential spouses gets, mainly because she doesn't want to have a serious relationship with a man who makes substantially less money than her. For men, its the reverse -- the more money and …

It isn't a popular thing to acknowledge, but most women love money, or they love a man with money.

You make some assumptions and gross generalizations, but I believe your heart is in the right place.

6 - Amazing how much difference a haircut that conforms to your face and style can make.

What were some of the things you noticed?

"I never thought this would happen to me ..."

Yeah it could be either interest or a challenge (or both). Or it could be the woman is doing it for "fun" because she finds you attractive and/or interesting (but has no intention of wanting to be approached).

You'd be surprised how many women, young and old, hold eye contact for 3+ seconds if you don't back down.

Yes. The sex usually isn't worth it, in hindsight.

I'll tell you what I would tell a man: It's probably better not to try to seduce women when they're drunk, even if you've been drinking too.
/r/seduction23/02/19 08:46 PM

Yeah thats exactly how I feel. I even think stretching is something that gets slept on a lot with male culture. Like everything else in the West, I think a lot of "male culture" is youth-oriented. IMO a lot of young guys are mostly interested in getting big and/or cut. They aren't thinking as much about overall health and aging. I know I didn't worry too much about longevity and healthy aging when I was 16-28. My flexibility is trash, and I constantly feel tight in my back, shoulders and neck, w…

In psychology, personality has five components: openness, conscientiousness, extraversion, agreeableness and neuroticism. People who are liked by others are high (or at least aren't low) in openness, agreeableness and extraversion. In addition, they are low (or at least aren't high) in neuroticism. High openness means you are open to new things (and are nonjudgmental), are creative and aren't afraid of change. High agreeableness is when you are interested in other people, you enjoy helping other…

You got normal regular guys trying to hit 200gs a day of protein while not trying to do cardio more than 1-2 times a week because they'll lose their "gainz" brah. Guys bragging about eating giant steaks and cartons of eggs every day to hit that number. Its insane.' I do want to get bigger, but I never skip cardio. I do some form of aerobic exercise 3-4 times per week. Maybe cardio does lower testosterone and limit gains somewhat, but its health benefits outweigh that, IMO.

I will give this a try, thanks for the tips!
/r/seduction18/02/19 06:28 PM

Thanks that's good to know. I'm someone who mostly does full-body workouts. I can see myself doing an upper-lower-legs split in the future, but I don't see myself becoming a really dedicated bodybuilder. Plus with my build and genetics I'll never get that big anyway.
/r/seduction18/02/19 09:50 AM

Ha, true. And most men aren't going to get humongous like a professional bodybuilder unless they get on some PEDs. I just remember the study saying women found men who were fit/athletic (which I guess means they had "functional" muscles) more attractive than thin, overweight or bodybuilder-type guys.
/r/seduction16/02/19 10:37 PM

I read one study that said women prefer fit/athletic men over bodybuilders. My question is, at what point does a fit or athletic build cross over into bodybuilding?

That's true. Dating/hooking up isn't as frowned upon in those types of jobs as compared to careers/professions. Like I said I could use the extra money, and I have some free time to pick up a side gig. Have you done this and had good results?
/r/seduction11/02/19 03:58 AM

OK so I’d be a 42 year old guy working part time at Starbucks or some restaurant. How would that help? I’m not against the extra work, I could use the money, but how would that be attractive?

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
