Ok. If you were in a couple different regions in the US I could tell you what to go for. You're gonna have to figure out which dance scene is the most robust in your city. Try Salsa and Swing places close to college campuses first. See which one has the biggest turn out and most even male/female ratio. Usually places will have a First-timer's lesson, so take that and stay for the dance afterward and observe how many show up.
