Yes. The topic of this thread was asking if I would be ok with an equal distribution of tasks without depending on gender roles. So the answer is "Actual equality yes. If not possible, no."
/r/PurplePillDebate11/08/26 06:35 AM

If such is the case I have no interest in equality nor equity. I might as well get everything I can get and give only what I want to give.
/r/PurplePillDebate11/08/26 06:03 AM

Women look for someone that is compatible. Men look for anyone that consents.
/r/PurplePillDebate11/08/26 05:11 AM

So talking about equality in relationships is meaningless. The base is unequal.
/r/PurplePillDebate11/08/26 05:11 AM

Personal responsibility. It is on her to decide if doing X is worth the consequences. I am not dealing with a child that does not know themselves and their limits. That posibility is already talked about and taken into consideration before any act happens.
/r/PurplePillDebate11/08/26 05:09 AM

For example, imagine both partners could contribute financially, divide housework and childcare based on availability and preference, take turns initiating dates and making plans, and support each other emotionally without either person being expected to be “the provider” or “the homemaker” simply because of their gender. This "ability or preference" destroys any semblance of equality. I am all for actual equality in roles 50/50 everything. I can accept that. But once you include negotiating the…

Thank you. I see it was an issue of the definition used. I can't consider short/medium term arrangements that include exclusivity as monogamy but I can see how others may see that and have their definition of monogamy met.
/r/PurplePillDebate10/08/26 07:52 PM

BPD. As far as I know that one is quite a hard time to deal with. Wishing you the luck, will and environment required to do so.
/r/PurplePillDebate10/08/26 12:17 PM

I can't blame someone for thinking the worse of people with my condition. It is in their best interest to doubt and stay away. They are statistically more likely to be right than wrong. I can't prove myself to be a positive in someone's life unless I have time and closeness to demonstrate the way my behavior is in the day to day. Internet entities can't give me that. So it is ok for people to doubt. It is healthy.
/r/PurplePillDebate10/08/26 10:55 AM

Yeah... I went to therapy for that. I have my own set of selfish goals. My goal is to feel and be superior to others. The way I do that is by adhering to a moral cose that includes amongst many other things, not lying to my partner/potential partner so they can make a fully informed decision. Following my own goals is in my self interests, lying to my partner/potential partner would be against my own interests.
/r/PurplePillDebate10/08/26 10:50 AM

If he is an ethical sociopath, then he should take it upon himself to remove himself from the dating pool because whatever scant affection he can provide to a woman's genuine affection is of little to no value. But guy needs some affection, I guess? And if some hapless woman has to be sacrificed, then so be it then. Or I can be open about what I am, what I can and can't do and let the adult in front of me make a fully informed decision about dating me or not. That is no sacrifice.
/r/PurplePillDebate10/08/26 09:13 AM

Yeah, but why do you want romantic affection? I am still a social creature. I remain a human even if a weird one. And why do you feel entitled to it I am not entitled to it nor do I feel entitled to it. despite the fact that whatever affection you provide her is hollow, as you are a diagnosed sociopath. If what I provide is insufficient is on my partner to decide. It will always be a net loss for her, when her efforts would be better spent on a guy who is capable of returning the sentiment. It i…

I do want romantic affection. If this hypothetical allows for that ro remain I would still have a reason to date women. If this hypothetical removes that from the table as well the I have no longer any reason to date women.

Yes. Close enough.

Two reasons. One is that when I met her she was struggling to attract and keep relationships in her own socio economic status, those potential partners were flat out unable to give even half of what I can give even if we remove money from the picture. The second reason is that she can leave at any moment and go after someone that gives her more. There are men that could give her more but they are unwilling, she is unable to attract them let alone keep them.

Exploitation means treating someone unfairly to gain an advantage, or using a resource, land, or material for profit and development. When used about people, it is negative and means taking selfish advantage of a person's work, trust, or weakness. I do not treat her unfairly. I do not treat her in an unfair way. In exchange for the benefits she brings to my life she is getting more than she would ever get in any other relationship she could ever have. There is no metric you could use to measure …

No, men want to be single but they wanna keep their mommy bangmaid at home with kids he doesn’t even care about while being able to go out with the guys. I disagree. Some men, young men, might fit that description. Yall don’t give a shit about women except what you can exploit us for. You yourself have made this abundantly clear. So? You may do something different but how is that any better? No one forces anyone to pay the opportunity cost. You do what you choose but who knows what you will be 5 years from now? I know. You are in a car accident and survive but the brain injuries and memory loss changes who you are? Everything is altered and she gets kicked to the curb? I have trust funds set up so my will be done even if I lose my mind. The promise of working falls apart because of financial concerns? See above. Well thi…

Just curious but what about the opportunity cost? I know you think this is how it should be covered but why not just say this when we were debating? If entering into that kind of dynamic was a choice then they pay the opportunity cost. No help at all. If there was no choice in the matter I am ok with them receiving help. I took care of our children when there was no money but I did it for them and our family. If my husband and I divorced why could not the opportunity costs be covered then or ove…

I believe it is fair. I care about her and that will not change if she leaves me. I hope she does not leave. I believe she gets more of what she wants by staying than by leaving. But she is free to leave for whatever reason or no reason at all.

After ten years together she could have saved enough to leave me and have enough to rebuild her life. I don't know if she saved. It is not of my concern. Whether she saved or not if she decides to leave me I will make sure she gets the job as we agreed upon.
/r/PurplePillDebate08/08/26 04:17 PM

She gets more money now. Every month. I was talking about what she would get if she decides to leave.

Would you compensate your non-working partner with the income they would have made had they not been working for you for free? If my current partner decides to leave me I will provide her with a job away from me that she is able to do and keep. The job will pay her enough to live comfortably. The state is not involved. The law does not allow for a situation ok which we both get what we want from the relationship. So she is dependent on me keeping my word. I will.

I encourage people to vet their partners and then do what they want. I personally want a relationship in which only one party works and the other does not.
/r/PurplePillDebate08/08/26 03:43 PM

Freedom of choice makes all the difference. Picking your partner allows you to vet. Not being able to pick your partner removes any chance to avoid the wrong one.

People have never applied it well in the past. Women have been slaves in their own households since people started having houses. Yes. Evil does exist since humanity exists. What makes you think people are going to start applying it well now, in this the year of our lord 2026? Not all people. But some. Now that the dynamic is not mandatory the ones that want that dynamic can vet their partners to look for people that is able to apply it well. Now there is natural selection. Only people that are …

It is impossible to know for sure how a relationship will go/end. But it is reasonable to believe that if the two humans in it are benevolent and care about each other then whatever dynamic they have in the relationship it is more likely than not that things will go well.

I don’t think it is healthy for a woman to be in the power dynamic you suggest, ever. Full stop. Sounds more like an argument born out of trauma and bad experiences. Not based on logic. Maybe it can be healthy for a man with your brain wiring. I’m not convinced. I know myself well enough to know what is best for me.

It’s because religion isn’t meant to make people better people. It’s meant to make people behave in a way that benefits the people in power. Religion is a tool. People use it as they want to use it. A hammer can build or break skulls. The problem is never in the tool. I can’t argue with living the life you want to live. Except you kinda do. By saying it can only end badly. I don’t really appreciate people pushing the notion that a D/s is a normal and healthy way for most people to live. I agree.…

Oh. Now I get what you mean. Yeah fuck those fake religious nuts. The whole submission thing can only work if the one being submitted to has a moral backbone. And someone that is truly religious, specially inside Christianity would never abuse that position. My problem with religious idiots is that they are not religious enough to practice benevolence as it is their duty to do.

Being willing to change yourself to suit my tastes makes it impossible for me to respect you. Fair enough. There we found the incompatibility. It's a downgrade if you have to change your standard of living. Oh... I see. I disagree. I have other metrics to measure besides standard of living. It is a luxury if you can maintain your standard of living. See above. And all that depends upon the couples priorities. I am malleable. I am what is needed of me and I discard whatever aspect of me that is undesirable or useless. I don't have shape. I have the shape that is needed for my goals. My experience is lived and yours is hypothetical. I have at least one point on you You are not a man not spend enough time knowing men to know the way men's respect is earned. Answer the question. I am considerably more likely to be right than you are due to at least that data. You have none. I have more. I am a man.

So, you also want me to do the labor of telling you exactly how to be a great partner to me? For the hypothetical scenario to continue, yes. If this was real life then I would have spent years stalking you to already know what you want. But that is not the place we are in. Already not worth it. Yes. Staying home and taking care of your kids usually downgrades ones lifestyle by taking a hit to ones finances. I measure the lifestyle in a way that considers other aspects more than just finances. But I see your point. If finances is all you care about then it is a downgrade. My husband and I both worked while we had kids and having a parent at home for either of us would have been a big benefit, but we couldn't afford to stay at home spouse. Understandable. Ok. Let's play the hypothetical. Name your price. If possible for me, I will pay it. Trade happens. If not possible for me then trade does not happen. I am not the one that decides what do I bring to the table. My potential partner is the one that decides what I should bring to the table. Because that is the way this thing works. Holy... You really don't have a single clue about this. If a woman goes into a man’s home as a wife and submits herself fully to his authority, he will grow to loathe her. Why do you believe that? There is no reason to leather her based on that. It is an unnatural and unhappy way to live and a man won’t respect a woman who doesn’t think for herself or have her independence. Who says anything about not thinking for yourself? Why do you believe that men respect independence? He will view her as le…

Working makes everyone unhappy. That’s how life works. If you are a woman you can find a man willing to support you so you don't have work making you unhappy. If a woman were to think like you, she would for sure get cheated on by her partner and become a sex slave in her own home. If she picks the wrong man for sure. Men don’t respect women who depend on them like that. Oh so you know what makes a man respect a woman? Please elaborate. I doubt you have any idea about what makes someone earn a m…

Well, abusers don’t tell you they’re abusers before you marry them. Not sure if you knew that. They tend to hide it. And if is my job to vet. If I fail then it is my fault. Again, this is all just a male fantasy of how women should think. It is how I think. I never said anything about how women should think.
/r/PurplePillDebate08/08/26 01:57 PM
2

Well, not everyone gets that choice. Obviously. I don't deny that arranged marriages exist. If you put your life in the hands of a man, you will 100% be unhappy. I doubt so. If I was a woman I would take the risk. I know that working would make me unhappy with 100% certainty.

It sounds like you’re just kind of lazy to be honest. I would spend my effort into betting the person I will be dependent on and then on bringing benefit to his life. I’ve never met a woman who said she would take the gilded cage and abuse because women generally work harder than that. They work harder on their jobs. I would apply that effort on the relationship. And also, you’re not telling the truth. You don’t currently put up with abuse in your relationships so you wouldn’t tolerate it even i…

How does someone debate against "I don't believe you"? I mean sure... You don't have to believe me. I hate everything about the male role. Specially having to earn my own income and dealing with the job marketplace. I would gladly accept a role in which I don't have to deal with that and if the risk is high then I say the potential for a good result is worth the risks.

Love comes and goes. It is on me to pick someone that is stable in their feelings and keep them stable. A paycheck comes with a contract that is legally enforceable. That is just being dependent on people that don't love me. Not to mention the fact that lack of personal income means you can’t leave the relationship. I don't want to leave. Are you wanting to be held captive? Yes What if your love turns into a monster? My bad for picking wrong. I deserve the consequences.

I'm all for getting as much as possible out of life, until it comes to using children for your own gain. Wanting to have children results in the same. Using children to have the life you want. Having one life isn't an excuse to just use others as stepping stones for your goals. I believe it is a valid reason to do so. They all have one life as well. Then we either use each other in simbiosis or compete against each other.
/r/PurplePillDebate08/08/26 01:06 PM

Why would you want to be dependent on your partner? Because I rather be dependent on someone that loves me than in someone something that does not. Is that only if you were a woman or as a man too? As a man too. But there are not enough women willing to play the role of provider to make that a realistic goal.
/r/PurplePillDebate08/08/26 01:05 PM

I can see that reasoning. But I have only one life and I will not waste it. I am getting as much of what I want from it as possible. This hypothetical scenario does not change that.

Interesting thought experiment. What sort of life would you want for yourself? This is the main question. Everything else comes from this one. What I want is to live without working for a boss/client/corporation. I want to be dependent on the partner I choose. Every other answer aims towards that goal. Children? If possible no. If necessary to achieve my goals, yes. If the answer ends up being "yes" then my goals and the traits I am looking for in a partner change. Then everything related to bei…

This might be my favourite Reddit comment ever. Great analogy. Just one thing to add. If I was in the circumstance you describe I wouldn't be sick of bananas nor women. I would not have developed strategies to make sure a woman has interest in me beyond banana related activities. I would use the fact that there is a high demand for something I can offer to get the most out of the trade. Find someone and live from selling banana related activities to that someone.

The exchange shows how much many men do not understand and how impossible they are being about a situation that makes us vulnerable but not usually them. (Same goes for SAHF). It punishes mothers (or fathers) who decide to care for their children and take some of the stress off the family. Responsibility is not a punishment. Responsibility is the consequences of your decisions. If women are to bear the reproductive load, the child care and the loss of a career it is probably better that they do …

Is lying a part of haggling? That would be either false advertisement or fraud. As in lying about your transactional nature in order to take advantage of someone? I would believe that is fraud. The decision is more complex than you think. It doesn't matter how simple or complex a situation is. Every decision has an opportunity cost. Clearly the transactional nature of relationships with men is a turnoff for women. Then those women can reject the transaction/relationship Women have been finally granted bargaining rights in the context of relationships because of their economic freedom and have decided that the inequity that is inherent within the heterosexual pairings is no longer acceptable. Good for them. If some men want to have transactional relationships, that’s their prerogative, but trying to convince women that they …

She is not getting paid. I worked for free and there was no spare cash. How would she be paid if she was at home full time? Unless her partner makes a significant amount of money. She has a roof over her head and food in her stomach. She is getting something out of her decision. The same goes for SAHF. Then the same applies. He should pay the opportunity cost. Cool so you gonna pay this woman for the childcare she's giving then. We don't have children. Or do you just get to steal from her cause you're special? The issue is. When you get fired you at least had a job and have market value and skills (to an employer) That is not an issue. It is a consequence of a decision. A woman who is outside of the work for for like 15 years is NOT seen as a candidate for most jobs and if she gets hired will be for a low paying job That is also not an issue. I personally believe life is more important than reputation. Not by much. The reason why I would take the actions described above is because I saw what I saw. There is no going back from seeing that. As far as I know that person took the life of someone I care about. So I am doing the eye for an eye thing. That person did not attack my partner's reputation. So I am not attacking his reputation.

Wild take, apples to oranges. Choosing to leave the workforce to perform unpaid labor/rear children ≠ choosing a different job within the workforce. The opportunity cost of leaving the workforce is extremely high. It is a decision like any other. When you make a decision you pay the opportunity cost. Unless you are a woman I guess... That directly conflicts with what I quoted in my previous comment: If a court does not say a crime happened exactly as the victim says it happened, it did not happen. It is not a contradiction. Consent isn't required just to talk to someone ask them out, or flirt. Are you sure about that? It has to be persistent unwanted sexual attention before it crosses into harassment. Define every single term so there is no grey area. Also, define it in such a way that the one initiating the interaction can see it before initiating the interaction son they don't go to jail.
/r/PurplePillDebate06/08/26 11:12 AM

Did she consent to the interaction? Because if there was no enthusiastic consent before the interaction happened then I guess it would be harassment.

To pool resources is living together. Both parties are putting in their resources for a shared home. Not really. You can pool resources for any kind of lifestyle. Everything in 1 name and separate living isn't pooling resources. See above. "Pooling" in this context means to share. They share resources. They don't share a roof. Restaurant works will pool tips. Meaning they'll split the tips from that evening. So you do understand that you can pool resources even if you don't live together.
/r/PurplePillDebate03/08/26 12:48 AM

Why not? That is the situation I am creating to illustrate the point. Resources are pooled. Then everything is bought under one name. Both people live in separate homes. Since there is no cohabitation there is no common law marriage. Under that situation there is pooling of resources but because there is no cohabitation common law marriage does not apply. That means that common law marriage is not designed to apply in situations that have pooling of resources.
/r/PurplePillDebate03/08/26 12:42 AM

I described a situation in which resources are pooled. Everything is in one name and there is no cohabitation. Same risks as cohabiting without marriage. The conditions for common law marriage to apply are not met.

If a woman gets pregnant she has less and less options to stop it. Stop what? Consequences? Adoption and abortion. Men can just run away. The law forces him to pay. That is already illegal. You're acting as if someone can trick someone into a legal marriage. Both people have to agree they are common law married. You can trick the state. I don't care about what people think. I care about what the state will enforce. The concept of actual common law marriage is where BOTH couples declare themselves married without the INTERFERENCE of state or religion because they cohabitate and act as a married couple. This is monstrous logic, you understand that, right? If the majority of people agrees then there would be no need for the state to force people to help. People would just donate and help. They would create the social protections without any legal obligation to do so. You're advocating for a world absent social protections for poor choices, and that necessarily affords the highest social advantage to anyone willing to take advantage of others. See above

What, in your estimation, is the consequence of building a society around giving everyone what they deserve? The attempt of building that society leads to the idiots revolting and since they are a majority they win and we end up right where we are today. You did not address the point. Common law marriage exists to force people that don't want to be married to be married anyways when they fulfill the condition of living together. If people that don't want to be married decide to not live together then the principle that creates common law marriage remains. It follows then that in order to force them to be married anyways we create another institution that forces them to be married under a different set of circumstances. Why stop there?

Some of these traits are necessary in both cases. I can agree with this. Some traits are necesary for both roles. Loyalty, reliability. I don't se how "fun" is one of those traits. I d say a romantic partner is someone you should respect enough to consider them a possible friend. Why do you believe that "respect" has anything to do with either friends or romantic partners? Respect is not the thing that makes someone a friend nor a romantic partner.

Human rights? Another arbitrary idea that seems popular now but does not exist in any other way other than as something made up. Why should we care about human rights instead of caring about equality applied to every aspect of existence?
/r/PurplePillDebate29/07/26 01:59 PM

I can think of two reasons why I would change to fit whatever shape of dull I need to fit. First one is that I want to be in a relationship and I am a man without an abundance of options. I Don't get to reduce the pool. Staying alone is not acceptable. If that were not the case I would consider not changing. Second reason is that I don't have any shape of my own. I have the shape I need at the moment.

This thread begun from a post that said Because I want to be able to bond with, enjoy my time with and do stuff with my partner? Now that that is no longer an option then there is no reason to stay with this partner. They were chosen. Because they could bond with and enjoy time with and do stuff together. Now they can't

I can only answer for myself, of course, but - Thank you for your perspective. There are a few parts of this. I can't have a serious relationship if I can't connect with them both emotionally and intellectually. If it is an inability then there is nothing to be done. If it is a preference then I guess it can be changed. I have a colorful and exciting life already. Spending time with someone who is dull gets frustrating pretty quickly. I mean he could change and stop being fun. Maybe because of something that changes his outlook on life. Doesn't matter why. Then it will be a burden of performance or a reason for a break up.

I only require that if she has demands I need to meet in order to qualify as a potential partner. All women on earth have those kind of demands so I expect sex. But assuming a woman expects nothing from me I will gladly return the favor.

I don't understand why the idea of being dead weight is so attractive to so many people. The only way to know if you are actually valued is to see if you are valued when you bring nothing to the table. When you are dead weight.

Why are you framing being fun as a thing that requires a personality change or "burden of performance? It does not necessarily need a personality change. You can vet for compatibility but that reduces the pool of available options. It does require a burden of performance because no one is fun all the time and also, people tend to change. Considering all I said I don't know how you get to that conclusion. I literally said that I would be the one changing and molding myself to what my partner wants. What makes you think that I want an empty vessel? I don't care if it's empty or full or whatever it has inside. I will change to fit.

I don't expect my partner to be fun/not boring. I would rather be in control and not put a burden of performance on someone else. Let alone the fact that looking for someone that I find fun without any change from my part reduces the pool of options available.

The target audience of TRP is simps and other kind of failures. The men that end up in TRP and have a relationship are already focusing on benefiting their partner. They are so focused on them that they are spineless.

Men are raised believing they should prioritize their partner over themselves. Happy wife happy life. Duty to provide etc . So the advice is to cut down on what they are already doing and think about themselves instead. Women on the other hand (specially since feminism became mainstream) already know they should put themselves first. So the advice is to cut down on what they are already doing and think about their partner instead

I want a clear definition that does not require any subjectivity. Fear is subjective. Feeling coerced is subjective.
/r/PurplePillDebate26/07/26 11:39 AM

Rape conviction rates are less than 1% of all allegations. That is not what you are advocating for. You are saying that if someone says that they were afraid or coerced then there was no consent and rape happened. No discussion, no evidence. There was a rape and the rapist goes to jail. 100% conviction based only on the word of the one that is making the accusation.
/r/PurplePillDebate26/07/26 11:35 AM

So you would be ok going to jail if at any point in time one of the your previous partners decides to say he was afraid and coerced when they had sex with you and you are a rapist.

how exactly are women just bad at violence when a lot of methods of being violent don’t require you to be physically strong? The ones that require you to be physically strong are enough to declare them bad at it. what evidence do you have that women are equally evil? Evil is not a useful term. It is subjective enough that all I have to do is be absolute about it. Anyone not perfectly good is an equal in sin and therefor equally evil. That is that. Enough to say all humans are equally evil.
/r/PurplePillDebate25/07/26 08:01 PM

Reading my first comment. Men and women are equally evil. Men are better at committing violence than women. I didn't say men and women are equally violent. I said they are equally evil. I said women are bad at applying violence. It makes sense they are less violent. They are bad at it.

In my opinion this dynamic creates an environment in which women are unable and unwilling to be sexual and emotional beings because they have to be in control of themselves and their partners 24/7. If a woman you weren’t attracted to asked you out, you would maybe feel weirded out or just plain not interested. Sure. But I don't make decisions about who I will date based on what I feel. I make decisions about who I date based on the future life I want to have and based on the kind of behaviors I want to reward/punish using my own behavior as an incentive structure.

Yes, in your very unrealistic hypothetical scenario that makes no logical sense where women don’t have any money to spend and men will all unify as one great woman-hating army. An unrealistic goofy made up rule is not worth considering. Your hypothetical is useless If you don't want to adress the hypothetical scenario then the discussion does not make sense. I am discussing that scenario. Not reality. Your points are perfect for reality. Not for the scenario that is being discussed. So your prem…

Corporations and rich people have no incentive to fire half of their functional useful employees based solely on their sex organs. It does not benefit them. Useless if your clients refuse to buy from you because you hire single women. And as for male workers boycotting all companies who employ women… boycotts are simply not effective. Because those boycots are from a tiny minority that does not follow through. Not the case in this scenario. And from the perspective of capital, there is no value …
/r/PurplePillDebate15/07/26 08:01 PM

That is the necessary circumstance for this scenario to make any sense. Unless men act as a cohesive unit when it comes to making social pariahs out of single women there is no way an incentive structure that rewards settling over remaining single will exist.
/r/PurplePillDebate15/07/26 05:43 PM

And piss off the clients that will no longer buy your product/service because the company is hiring women?
/r/PurplePillDebate15/07/26 04:22 PM

Fair. I would think that something as pursued as relationships would be as desired as living a life having all your limbs.
/r/PurplePillDebate15/07/26 04:15 PM

And why do you think that men through all of history spend that much time and effort trying to get relationships?
/r/PurplePillDebate15/07/26 03:55 PM

Seeking relationships? The thing that most humans in history do/did? That is unattractive? Humanity is broken
/r/PurplePillDebate15/07/26 03:49 PM

Assuming it can be done, unless it happens at the same time in all societies/countries on earth, all you did is create some countries that have men and some that don't. The countries that have their male population intact will conquer the countries that don't.

In this hypothetical scenario men decided that they no longer want to associate with single women. So single women would be the ones that are not hired.

Correct. In the societies in which the majority of men want that, there is nothing that can stop them. In the societies in which the majority of men are opposed to that, the perpetrators are persecuted and sent to jail. Not all of course, no justice system is perfect.

You think non single women would go against single women despite women having a higher ingroup bias? Some will. And that is enough to tip the scales. Also how is antagonising single women making it more likely for them to couple up? People tend to do what is needed to improve their position. We already had that before when women were shamed for being old cat ladies and shit. It worked. Not perfectly but it worked.

You know that women also have buisnesses? Are part of corporations? Sit in HR? Yes. And I know that all men+non single women is a larger client base than single women. It makes sense to pander to the larger client base. Surprisingly men aren't the only working people. Would you be okay if women behaved the same way then? Yes. Freedom of association is good no matter who is using it.

How are you going to get everyone to comply? I will not. If men don't want to treat single women as pariahs then they will not. What happens if they don't? Pariahs as well. And that ignores the fact that, in modern day social circles, being a pariah is not that big of a deal. It would be if people had freedom of association (if they are allowed to not hire people they don't want to hire. If they are allowed to refuse services and trade etc)
/r/PurplePillDebate14/07/26 04:23 PM
-1

Freedom to decide who you deal with and in which way if you dealt with them at all. If men treat single women as pariahs and refuse to have any positive interaction with them then single life would be harder than just lowering your standards.

Then read the comments below.
/r/PurplePillDebate14/07/26 11:46 AM

If you need to force people to trade their singlehood for a relationship its not a voluntary trade, is it? There is no force. Just freedom of association. Why do you want to force the state then to have people give up their freedom and bodily autonomy? I don't require the use of a state (country). Just individual people using their freedom of association. Which is part of their bodily autonomy.
/r/PurplePillDebate14/07/26 11:46 AM
-3

Because free humans should be free to treat other people as pariahs just because they have freedom of association. Because that would create an incentive structure that rewards being in a relationship and punishes being single. Because a socieyin which you get help through voluntary trade is better than a society in which you get help through force (the state)
/r/PurplePillDebate14/07/26 10:33 AM

Because being alone is no longer better than being with someone that does not meet your standards
/r/PurplePillDebate14/07/26 10:30 AM

Removing all help from the state and making sure all men treat single women and those who associate with them as social pariahs. If women want any help or good treatment they can pick a man and stop being single. Then they get an acceptable life. Notice how all I did is apply freedom of association. No rights were removed.

Sure now answer the important part Again. How can we have equality of opportunity unless we remove parents ability to give advantages to their children? If parents are able to help their children some parents will be better than others and therefore some kids will have more opportunities than others. Of we allow for that to happen equality of opportunity does not exist.
/r/PurplePillDebate07/07/26 04:16 PM
1

I am not. But I should not be able to create inequality when hiring considering your previous comments. Discrimination in hiring is wrong and that applies even if I am not a government entity. Again. How can we have equality of opportunity unless we remove parents ability to give advantages to their children?
/r/PurplePillDebate07/07/26 03:15 PM
0

Ok equal Access to opportunities. How does that factor in for the idea that some parents will give their children access to opportunities that some other children will not have? Should it be illegal for me to pay for a better school for my child because it gives them an opportunity other children don't have?
/r/PurplePillDebate07/07/26 03:11 PM

This is the type of discrimination woman are fighting against. I know. But that discrimination is born out of a biological difference that does exist and has an economic impact. Let's reframe your bad logic with other bad logic: Why would I hire a man when he's more violent than a woman? Because that threat of violence is good. It is what keeps arguments from escalating to the point of being unmanageable. Why would I hire someone in a wheelchair for a job writing code? I don't see any reason why…

in 100% of everything? no. in 99.999% of everything. Yes. Why would I hire a woman over a man all other things being equal considering one can get pregnant and suffers through monthly pains? You know this. Its intentionally misrepresenting what women mean when they want equality. And then using that misrepresentation to say "equality means they have the same libidos" is even worse logic It is ok when women say they want equality. My point is that they are not equal
/r/PurplePillDebate07/07/26 02:28 PM
0

That is not the same thing and you know it. No one is making men homeless. Indifference keeps them homeless. Keep regurgitating the manosphere, it’s working out so well for you. It is actually. Can't complain about the results. Btw women fight for housing justice more than men. Even though men are more typically to be homeless. I judge them by the results obtained.
/r/PurplePillDebate07/07/26 02:26 PM

I am just saying. There are more homeless men than women. In order to get social equality then the same number of men and women should be homeless. Want equality? Then ask for it during the bad times as well? If you are asking for equality only when it suits women it is not asking for equality. It is asking for privilege.
/r/PurplePillDebate07/07/26 02:07 PM

Have you considered how this would play out for you, if you were on the receiving end of this "settling?" Yes. Maybe you imagine it would go the route of a fairytale that involves an arranged marriage where the couple eventually falls in love. But that's not what will happen. Instead she will resent you, and likely grow to detest you. In that situation, how do you rate your life? Depends on her actions. I don't give a fuck about what she thinks or feels. We are both playing a role and a role is …

The fact that you can’t explain how you got to that conclusion says something. I did. I will repeat it. I am a man. I as a man can have spontaneous attraction. Men and women are equal. Therefore women can have spontaneous attraction. He still has to grow and learn out of it like every other person race poorly did. Does not change the fact that he is starting from behind and the damage is already done. Thinking he deserves an endless supply of pity is entitlement and manchild behavior. The refusa…

They like variety that one woman cannot quench Most men will never be attractive enough to get that variety so this point only applies in a meaningful actionable way to a minority of men. They are not attracted to signs of aging that is inevitable to happen over time If she is a living adult female she will be attractive enough to most men. Some men would even ignore the lack of one of those traits. They are also not attracted to the effects of pregnancy (saggy breasts, stretch marks, loose stom…

This is just my premise- if we accept it as true- what can men realistically do (knowing that we as women AREN'T going back)? Make single life horrible between the boundaries of the law. Vote to reduce or remove all help the state gives to women. Refuse to have any positive interaction with any single woman and/or anyone that has a positive interaction with single women. Remove from law any intervention that forces employers to accept someone they don't want to hire (single women). Just give men…

Porn made guys think that was realistic. Equality did. I am a man. I as a man can have spontaneous attraction. Men and women are equal. Therefore women can have spontaneous attraction. No one told them sex was a reward for niceness. Yes. We were told that in many ways by many people in our lives. Specially people that are supposed to care for children and teach them/give them tools to succeed. They were loved for a trait present in what they are (body) they lost that trait. If your argument is that the trait was loved instead of the body/identity, then I agree. But said trait was present in what that human is.

We are engaging in behavior that exists outside of the body right now. No we are not. Without a body there is no thought, no typing. Phrases like “you’ve changed” and “I’m not the man I used to be” are phrases for a reason. Because people are wrong. They are the same person after changing. People become different people all the time. Not the case. Same person, different behavior. And it’s not by gaining weight or getting a haircut. The only consensual sex he had was presumably Ghislaine, and she is an evil rapist herself. So he was not an incel. That doesn’t mean all women are like Ghislaine ffs. Not what I said. What I said is that when you look at a man like Epstein not being an incel and at the same time you se innocent weak, unmasculine, shy men be incels we can see which traits are more likely to make a man unattractive to women and which traits/actions are not enough to make a man unattractive to women.

Have you ever, even once, written a letter to a lady from your area's women's prison? No If not: why? Two reasons. The first one is that I try to reward moral behavior and punish inmoral behavior. I would help. And I would get my return even if the one I helped is not willing to give it to me. I will make sure to get reputation and use it for my advantage. There are so many people that owe me favors and so many people that payed me those favors because I "helped expecting nothing in return" The action is the same "helping". Then I make sure I got my return.
/r/PurplePillDebate04/07/26 12:03 AM

We are different, our actions will not be. I can't get profit without people.
/r/PurplePillDebate03/07/26 11:56 PM

Fair point. Good thing serial killers have more women attracted to them than shy incels. /s
/r/PurplePillDebate03/07/26 11:56 PM

Remove the genders from my sentence and it remains valid. The excuse of "society works better when" can be used to make anyone entitled to someone elses's actions.
/r/PurplePillDebate03/07/26 11:52 PM

Yeah, at that point no one is doing it to actually care and only doing it for the reward. That is called "trade" and it is the thing that keeps society working I would avoid people like this in life, as they're generally greedy and the kind to f**k you over to get ahead. The problem is not with greed, the problem lies in being short sighted. If you fuck up people to get ahead you get short term profit. If you develop a positive relationship through trade you gain a small benefit now and continue…
/r/PurplePillDebate03/07/26 11:50 PM

The thing is, when you say that human X is entitled to help. You are also saying that human Y is obligated to help. And when it comes to dangerous situations you are also saying that Y is obligated to put their own well being at risk for the benefit of X.
/r/PurplePillDebate03/07/26 11:46 PM

Already did. Already found miss moral. In a homeless shelter in South America. That ignores the point. The point is that if under the excuse of "society works better when..." we can say women are entitled to men defending them against danger even to the detriment of the men defending them, then using the same excuse we can say men are entitled to relationships with women even to women's detriment.
/r/PurplePillDebate03/07/26 11:44 PM

Fair. So the discussion was derailed then. Are women entitled to help when in danger? Are women entitled to men risking their lives for them? Are women entitled to that and men should expect nothing in return?
/r/PurplePillDebate03/07/26 11:42 PM

I think every human is under obligation to care about other human lives, but apparently thats where society has gone wrong. And I believe that only works when there is a benefit for doing so. Punish helping people severely and see how those actions become rare. Reward those behaviors and see how they become commonplace. If you want something for helping someone, it isn't helping, and I'd rather avoid you all together as well, to be honest. Fair. I rather spend time with people that understand an…

/r/PurplePillDebate03/07/26 07:00 PM

why are the characteristics of the woman irrelevant to whom she chooses to have a relationship with? Because "who she whooses" does not care. A relationship is better than no relationship.

Those traits and qualities don't change the fact that not being an incel is better than being an incel. So those traits are irrelevant to the man in question

/r/PurplePillDebate03/07/26 03:43 PM

I don't propose to do that. But if I was proposing it I would go for the following. All men without an exception treat adult women outside relationships as social pariahs. No job opportunities, no talking to. Spitting at floor at the sight of them. No social interaction. Voting against their interest so we can remove any help the state would provide to them. Refusing to help them in any way. Apply the same to any woman or man that associates with an adult single woman.
/r/PurplePillDebate03/07/26 03:40 PM

Why do you specify women is my question? Because it is already well known and accepted that a woman that is hot will get what she wants from men even if she is horrible in her actions. That is not in discussion. What we are discussing is how in the eyes of women, being weak, unmasculine and shy is worse than being Epstein.

Epstein was extremely socially accepted by everyone including and especially men I know. It is like doing everything he did had no real impact on people liking him. Why would you expect someone who was this accepted by his contemporaries to be shunned by women I don't. My entire point is that being shy, weak and unmasculine is worse in the eyes of women than running a pedophile ring.
/r/PurplePillDebate03/07/26 03:01 PM

In the same way slut shaming is done. In the same way pick mes are treated. Just make Known that whoever participates in X behavior is scum to be removed from the ingroup and considered a pariah.

Where is the argument that criminality repels women? I haven't seen that here. Fair. It is a more vague "misogyny repells women" and that suddenly does not apply for serial killers. Visible misogyny repels women. Do you disagree? I disagree. Serial killers that kill women have more results than non misogynistic incels.
/r/PurplePillDebate03/07/26 02:11 PM

So you accept that being mediocre is worse on the eyes of women than being Epstein. Considering Epstein was not an incel, It is clear mediocrity is more repellent than running a pedophile ring.

The “perfect guy” could live 3 streets away from me. If I never meet or interact with him how the heck am I supposed to know? By coming across him and giving him a chance. Womens attractions aren’t the same as men’s. Most of us don’t just see a guy we think is physically attractive and want to approach. We need a positive interaction. We need the flirty banter. So we can finally throw away the idea that men and women are equal?
/r/PurplePillDebate03/07/26 12:17 PM

The women who are attracted to men like Epstein aren’t the same women who could be attracted to weak, unmasculine, shy men. I am only seeing the number of women interested in each. The fact that they are not the same is not relevant. I can only filter through my options. Let's see how you define your options. An Epstein type is a fuck no for most women. And yet he gets better results. A weak, unmasculine, shy guy isn’t on my radar. He isn’t an option. He isn’t interacting with me. If I approach …
/r/PurplePillDebate03/07/26 12:06 PM

Couldn’t tell you one of my neighbors names You are not interested in them. Proving my point. Not having a positive interaction with a person isn’t necessary for most men. Not most women. Where did equality go? Because the type of person who is attracted to those types of people know where to find them. They are also mentally unwell. As I said before in this thread. Quality does not matter. Any is better than none. Not being an incel is better than remaining an incel.
/r/PurplePillDebate03/07/26 11:47 AM
4

If a weak, unmasculine, shy guy wasn’t weak, unmasculine and shy he would have the same odds. That defeats the point of the comparison. The point is to compare Epstein against a man that is not in charge of a pedophile ring. He just happens to be shy, weak and unmasculine. Clearly a worse sin that pedophilia considering the results Epstein got compared to this hypothetical man. How attractive is he? Irrelevant. Can't be morally worse than what Epstein did.
/r/PurplePillDebate03/07/26 11:29 AM

I was talking about women. But it also applies to relationships.
/r/PurplePillDebate03/07/26 11:27 AM

Woman who would possibly like those types of men aren’t the same as those that are wanting and interacting with criminals. As I said before. That is irrelevant. Serial killers get more results. That is wrong. There’s literally sites for people to find people in prison. They make headlines. They are in the news. They attract a certain type of…
/r/PurplePillDebate03/07/26 11:26 AM

/r/PurplePillDebate03/07/26 11:14 AM

I can accept that it exists. But I don't have to accept it as moral or good or acceptable. You can be the juiciest peach but someone would only want an apple…
/r/PurplePillDebate03/07/26 10:40 AM

/r/PurplePillDebate03/07/26 10:36 AM

Read this subreddit. It is common for women to say that incel's hate from women can be seen by them and that is the reason they don't get any.
/r/PurplePillDebate03/07/26 10:34 AM

This is an argument that supports OPs position
/r/PurplePillDebate03/07/26 10:34 AM

Men are quite open about how much looks matter when it comes to attracting a man. Men are not the ones saying that women without partners are failing because they are evil/criminals. If anything they say they are failing because they are older and can't compete in looks against younger women.
/r/PurplePillDebate03/07/26 10:33 AM

Irrelevant. For anyone with a sense of fairness it is morally wrong that the men mentioned by OP get better results than non criminals.
/r/PurplePillDebate03/07/26 10:30 AM

Which women? Enough of them. To the point that those men mentioned have better results than innocent incels.
/r/PurplePillDebate03/07/26 10:28 AM

This does not contradict OP..if anything it provides another argument to support that position
/r/PurplePillDebate03/07/26 10:27 AM

The word "only" was not used by OP. Men are quite open about how much looks matter. Women are the ones that say incels lack of success is rooted in their hatred of women.

And men are the ones that enforce the rights of black men as well. Seriously. There is no society in which women get rights without men wanting the same thing.
/r/PurplePillDebate02/07/26 10:43 AM

Women revolted and earned those rights that were reserved only for men. And men were and still are the ones that enforce those rights. The state is for now the superior organization when it comes to the use of force. And the use of force determines what is possible and not. Unless you have a way to win against the state, it is useless to be against it. I am not going to waste my only life on a battle I can't win.

You will never, ever know what lies in the mind of anyone. Your partner included. The only thing you can measure are actions. If you get her to do what you want whether she does it because of your looks or because of your money makes no difference. Get what you want in the way you can.

When a vibrator can protect woman against the men that want to take those rights away then and only then the vibrator will win. The only reason that thought can be considered and said is because there are enough men protecting the rights women still have.

Giving rights to the detriment of self-interest? What rights were exactly taken away from men in the west to the detriment of their self interest? None. Men gave women rights to the detriment of men's self interest. Voting rights? Oh no, men took that away from women. Incorrect. Women had no rights to be taken away in the first place. Then men gave those rights to women. Property rights? Oh no, men again took that away from women. Incorrect. Women had no rights to be taken away in the first plac…

My bad. "A human is a body and the electrical/chemical patterns within it that distinguish it from a corpse"
/r/PurplePillDebate30/06/26 11:53 AM

The first will never happen because women don't value men the way men value women. (A human is a body and the only way to value someone for what they are is to value the body) The latter is the only option. And I am more than ok with playing the only game I can play.

/r/PurplePillDebate27/06/26 03:17 PM

That's not the trade. The trade is you work for society because you benefit from society The only benefit men are interested in is access to women's bodies as you put it. Again, if this is a man's main leverage, it's his problem, not society's. If those men decide that society is an enemy that does not provide them with what they want it is society's problem. The problem with society is, men haven't learnt how to be women's equals when it comes to domestic labour and child rearing. And frankly, I don't even seen it as a problem. /r/PurplePillDebate27/06/26 02:33 PM

But then, how will this make men less lonely or more sexed? Simple. The women that are unable to get everything they want from life on their own will have to get the rest through men and men will ask for sex in return.
/r/PurplePillDebate27/06/26 02:32 PM

Why is men working for the good of society contingent on having access to women's bodies? Because that is how trade works. Either all parties get what they want or there is no trade. Women get radicalized from things like abuse, sexual violence, discrimination, harassment, etc. That is a reflection of what women want. And yet these women overwhelmingly become progressive to improve society, Not to improve society. To get what they want. Thought experiment. Let's say that women know for sure that…

You don't need to have an abundance of options laying at you feet to go actively search our the type of person you will actually like. That is not the argument. The argument is that you need the options in order to PICK. Not to search. The lazier you are in your search for a partner the more likely you are to meet people who aren't a good fit for yourself. tolerate prejudice, is what this boils down to? What it boils down to is to pick what matters to you and act accordingly. why be with someone who gives ultimatums anyway? I don't remember when anyone brought up ultimatums. the gay friend isn't the issue, she's not the issue, the husband is the issue. what if a woman has a gay brother or a gay best friends and her boyfriend or husband is homophobic? That would mean picking between husband and gay best friend. Pick the one that is more important. If the woman picks the gay best friend, then that just means the gay best friend position is more important than the husband position and she will leave any kind of husband if they come at odds with gay best friend. what if she has a trans girl in her friend group and her boyfriend is transphobic? What would be considered fair in this case? That moral people get more people romantically/sexually interested in them compared to immoral people. Infringement? Who talked about infringement? If the individual cares about fairness they will apply it when picking a partner and there would be no infringement.
/r/PurplePillDebate17/06/26 01:59 PM

Ok. Should we apply that to ratial inequality? Economic inequality? Women's rights? Because "life isn't fair" applies as a defense for all types of unfairness.

Sure. But for the people that actually have fairness as a principle they believe it should apply to everything. Either fairness matters or it doesn't. Either applies to everything or to nothing.

Fairness. The reason is fairness. The fact that a felon can get more women interested in him than a boring non criminal seems unfair to anyone that has some sense of fairness. My position speaks about what it IS. /r/PurplePillDebate17/06/26 02:39 AM

however I do think actions, reputation, and skills are an outcome of the inherent identity of the person and necessary for understanding who that person is. You can't expect something in return for not being actively harmful. Yes I can. That is how having nukes works. You expect the rest of the world to care about what you say because you can end the world with a button. The same goes for men and the ability they have to just end society when they decide not to cooperate with it.

I don't want to reproduce. I don't want to curse a child with having me as a father. And of course this kind of men are a minority. For now. As long as they are a minority there is no risk. Well that is the thing with democracy. Every single voter gets the same say and you will either convince the extremists by giving them enough of what they want so they vote your way or you make sure that the conditions are good enough so most people don't end up as extremists. And this is not a matter of empathy. It is a matter of keeping enough men on your side to make what you think is right and wrong something that can be enforced.

Blaming everyone but yourself is a child like response to avoid responsibility for your bad actions. And that was what Adam did in that story. Act like a kid. And when it comes to understanding good and evil he was a kid. He was found soon after coming to understand that he did wrong.

I mean... The entire point of the story is that it is supposed to be man's first encounter with the understanding of good and evil. If men ignored laws during alcohol prohibition because they didn't feel like stop drinking then why is it so hard to believe that they could apply the same to other laws? Ok. So if men are free to do so. Then the argument made by OP makes more sense. He is arguing that men should use that freedom to put a price on their support for systemic equality. Either they get payed the price and they support equality or they don't get payed the price and they do not support it. If enough men don't get paid and stop supporting systemic equality then well... It goes the way of the dinosaurs. Which can be stopped by paying the price.

Just to know your perspective. Are women entitled to an individual man's support for systemic equality? Or is a man free to decide if he supports systemic equality or doesn't? If he is free to support or oppose systemic equality then he is also free to decide under which circumstances he will support systemic equality. And such a circumstance may be "I am getting relationships/sex"

What does the quantity of people she is attracted to have to do with the ability to favor both stability and desire? When you reduce your pool you reduce the chances of finding someone that brings what you want. Are you making a case that because of instability, the man has sexual success? Or is there a different factor that coexists (not competes) with stability/instability in the man that has an effect on sexual or dating success? Any. Both. Maybe there is a link between that different factor …
/r/PurplePillDebate16/06/26 03:17 PM

It means that there is no competition in men. Men will be attracted to the woman that brings stability. Women in the other hand are not attracted to almost all men in the way men are attracted to almost all women. That means it is unlikely that a man will bring both attraction and stability. Chances are a man will bring only one of those to the table. Let alone the fact that unstable men have way more success in the dating world so we can argue that stability is less attractive.

Starvation and slavery are significant material problems, so wealth inequality and racial inequality are valid concerns. The problems that arise from dating are insignificant and immaterial, so it is not a valid concern. Provide a definition for "material" and "immaterial" problems so I can engage honestly and properly with the argument. "Insignificant" is what we are discussing so that is just a presumption fallacy. You provide an argument, I address that argument. That is how debating works. If you want to argue that those can't be equated then you must provide an argument that shows that they can't be equated. Correct. Present arguments and then we can address them.
/r/PurplePillDebate16/06/26 02:15 PM

That was not the argument. You are moving the goalpost. The point is that wealth equality is not needed to live. In the same way that having a partner is not needed to live. I can concede that reducing wealth inequality will improve the life of those that have less money... Just as having a partner would improve the life of those that have no partner...
/r/PurplePillDebate16/06/26 02:11 PM

You need some money to live. Wealth inequality does not make a man unable to live, it does make that man unable to become as rich as the wealthiest are. So you don't need wealth equality to live. In those aspects both wealth equality and a partner are not needed to live.
/r/PurplePillDebate16/06/26 02:08 PM

But what if she disagrees with your analysis and would prefer the bear because it won't plot and scheme to force her into sexual servitude? She is free to be wrong. Ultimately, if you're going to fuel a negative view of men, can you fault women for disliking or hating men based upon your view of men? I can't blame someone for their feelings. Feelings are something you don't control. Feelings are the stupid part of people. I can blame them for deciding to act on feelings over rationality though.
/r/PurplePillDebate13/06/26 03:49 PM

Fair. How can you fault a woman for deciding she wants nothing to do with men for believing what you say about them? Because a bear wants nothing from women so there is no negotiating available. There is no need to turn to violence. It is enough to just stop helping women in all circumstances. No help through the state. No defending against any threat. Full social ostracism. If women want anything from men they can get it by giving men what they want. That is enough. Women can only get acceptable lives because they get help from men through the state. Remove men willingness to help women unless they get what they want out of the deal and the problem solves itself.

Accidentally? It was on purpose. Also. Anti male propaganda? It was not anti male at all. It was a basic analysis of reality. Society exists because most men believe said society gives them a realistic chance to get what they want (women, a relationship, sex, children) If enough men don't believe society gives them that chance then they will consider that society an enemy and act accordingly. Examples on how to get the results in a different way. Abundance of resources and rights works. Lack of resources and rights works as well. You’re not making any points. You’re throwing pasta at the wall. I am showing alternatives. You said “get rid of welfare, make women have children. It’s fine if the 1% fu…

Pre-industrial revolution, people had more children because most of them fucking died and someone needed to survive to maintain the damn goats. Oh so there are other ways to make women have children's other than replicating your baby boomer scenario? Well that was my point. Why are you talking about Arab countries? Africa? Because that is another example of higher birth rates without replicating the baby boomer scenario you described. Do you vote in these areas too? Nope. If you believe and want…

So then men are women’s enemy? Only when there is no alignment in men and women's self interest. Why would women care about people who are danferous and threatening to them? It doesn’t make sense A reason comes to mind. Because the consequences of not caring are worse than the consequences of caring. If men are this dangerous why not round them up and put them in prison Because you need men to round them up and to keep them in prison. So then you have the same problem. Another group of men you n…

Maybe I was not clear enough. In order for the enforcement of rights to be effective you need the following. A force able and willing to catch/kill enough of the people that want to infringe on said rights. If you are not going for straight up capital punishment with no trial then you need. A force able and willing to retain those people and keep them detained for as long as it is neededm A force able and willing to transport them to court/jail. You do need lawyers and politicians and judges but…

It’s not a “negotiation” if you’re saying “hey fuck me or I will strip your rights away” — that’s the dumbest fucking argument I’ve ever heard. That’s coercion at minimum, which is rape. Negotiation implies both parties consent. Please pick up a dictionary. In a democracy people are free to vote for any party and that party between the boundaries of the law can change all laws, constitution included. Saying "if you want me to vote the way you want give me what I want" is a negotiation.

Men’s threats to women tend to involve institutional disenfranchisement, violence, or sexual assault. All things that egregiously ignore consent and violate the other person. Yes. I'm sorry, this whole thing is about how men are lonely and need women. And now you say that men slave for women... and you mean marriage - the thing that supposed to actually make men less lonely? Exactly. They slave away to not be lonely/incels. Do you see something weird here? No. Pointing out how men are willing to slave away.
/r/PurplePillDebate12/06/26 11:29 AM

So... If men have issues with women (no relationship nor sex) they don't care about women's issues and become a problem? That is the reason to care about men not getting any.
/r/PurplePillDebate12/06/26 11:26 AM

that means you admit that it's not chicken and egg situation Fair. First women stopped giving men what they wanted and then men stopped caring. they did it under enormous pressure. Enormous pressure from...?
/r/PurplePillDebate12/06/26 11:25 AM

They threaten men with no sex and leaving then alone? Yes. That is a threat. That is not a life worth living. Are you serious? Yes. Are women just supposed to be here for men to allow them to live so men can rape them? No. This is a negotiation. You don't have to accept the trade. (Thanks for the blatant misogyny here btw. Guys deny it all the time but your quite happy to admit this is how they wish it was) I am saying this with no hate. So it is not misogyny. Sexist maybe. Not misogyny.
/r/PurplePillDebate12/06/26 11:23 AM

Just one example. Marriage. Men enter into it to not lose their relationship (access to sex) and by doing so they accept that half of everything they earn is no longer theirs. Maybe more than half. The day she decides to leave he loses half of everything he worked for (or more). They accept it. They accept to slave for half of their working hours for no earning (because what they earn is not theirs to keep)
/r/PurplePillDebate12/06/26 11:21 AM

Precisely. And they were convinced to give women's rights and freedom.
/r/PurplePillDebate12/06/26 11:16 AM

Are you living under Sharia law? If the answer is "no" then men care enough about women.

/r/PurplePillDebate12/06/26 11:11 AM

Women aren’t threatening mens basic human rights because they can’t control them, so no, women are not the selfish ones here Because they can't follow on this threat. They threat men with loneliness and inceldom. A threat they can follow on. That is the threat. And it works. Because men want relationships and sex. And no, it’s not a negotiation, women don’t want anything from men, they want to live their own lives without being discriminated against So you want men to allow you to live such live…
/r/PurplePillDebate12/06/26 11:10 AM

/r/PurplePillDebate12/06/26 10:57 AM

Because It shows the outright audacity and selfishness of modern men. Or the audacity and selfishness of modern women that want support from men without showing support for them. Both sides are selfish. If either side wants something from the other they will have to trade. Women expected to solve mens problems or men will use scrap whatever they have to take away woman’s basic human rights. That is the negotiation. Women want something from men, men want something from women. If a trade does not…
/r/PurplePillDebate12/06/26 10:56 AM

It is comparable. Men do end up slaving away in order to get sex.
/r/PurplePillDebate12/06/26 10:38 AM

Because those men probably had women they actually cared about, had some morality and principles, and they wanted women in their life be happy. So men can vote for women's interests instead of their own. That is enough. Now that we established that it is a possibility that means that it is better to care about men's issues in an effort to convince them to vote for your own interest instead of against it.
/r/PurplePillDebate12/06/26 10:30 AM

Chicken and egg situation.
/r/PurplePillDebate12/06/26 10:20 AM

How was giving women rights and freedom in men's self interests?
/r/PurplePillDebate12/06/26 10:19 AM

Because men vote. Even if you don't give a single solitary duck about a demographic you would benefit if that demographic votes in a way that is aligned to your interests and you would suffer if they start voting against your interests. In a democracy that is the reason to care about any issue that affects any demographic.

I adressed this in another comment. I can understand how it would be stupid to act to benefit others when the result of it would make you incapable of helping others in the future. First you need to keep yourself sane and healthy enough to endure until the next time you can help someone.

Lets try to make a long story short enough to be read but with enough info to be somewhat useful. First thing: I met my partner 10+ years ago. I don't have problems with dating currently so I am going to speak about the times before. I was raised on platitudes. "There is someone out there for anyone" "Just be yourself" "Be a good man and eventually you will meet her" I had no reason to trust on my inexperienced eyes over the people that are supposed to care about me and my future. Obviously it d…

It also does not recognize all sorts of other agreements between two private parties acting in private. Precisely They do all the time. You just don’t recognize them as fulfilling a duty if they’re not shot to death anytime one fails. And you refuse to recognize any time any woman does ever fulfill her pledge— you systematically dismiss any and every duty a woman has ever fulfilled. It’s nothing but cherry picking. Ok. I will bite. Provide some examples then. Which duties towards their partners …

Yes. I still don't understand the question Why would being a woman be any different then your shadow of a doubt theory on saving lives via having sex with them? What does that mean? You are comparing "Being a woman" with a hypothetical scenario and asking why would those be different. Because one is "Being a woman" and the other one is a hypothetical scenario in which "it is proven beyond the shadow of a doubt that sexlessness and lack of female attention and validation is the root cause for the…

And I can promise there are vanishingly few males who would give their asshole virginity to a mentally ill individual I can believe that. with severe mental illness? Lol that’s wild. And let’s say in this hypothetical how many times does a woman have to give up her body to save this man? Once? 10 times? Bc I some how doubt this mentally ill individual will be cured by one 3 minute fuck session. I don't know. It was not part of the scenario. If you are interested in expanding it then add details.

I am afraid I don't understand the question. Pleas re phrase.

That was the hypothetical scenario described by OP. If we are not buying into it then there is no reason to continue the discussion. Assuming that as a base was the point.

A valid alternative for the hypothetical scenario. I doubt it would happen because no one, not even men, care about men killing themselves but still a valid alternative.

Still dodging the hypothetical scenario. Not that I disagree with your points, but all of them are ignoring the hypothetical scenario.

If we aren’t interested in doing so to keep lonely men from hurting us, why would we do it to keep them from hurting themselves? Thank you for making it cristal clear. Honestly.

Not moving the goalpost was already "without a shadow of a doubt" in OP. Also, in the same OP it says "It is the root of" not merely "significantly increases risk of death"

It says it’s the root cause but doesn’t say sex is the only solution. Fair enough. The scenario could be better worded. I give you this one.

Not the scenario described. The scenario described includes proving it beyond the shadow of a doubt.

You are just dodging the hypothetical. It doesn't matter how it doesn't work. It was proven to not work without a shadow of a doubt.

I would do both if it was proven beyond a shadow of a doubt that doing those are the best and only way to save lives.

How about volunteer to donate your asshole to some unattractive gay guys to make them feel better. Male here. Straight as well. If it was proven beyond the shadow of a doubt that doing so would save lives I would do it. It would be deeply immoral not to do it. And frankly I am quite appalled at the response women had to this scenario. I had an idea of how little they care about men compared to their own comfort but I didn't think the situation was this extreme.
/r/PurplePillDebate10/06/26 09:07 PM

Why does it need to be widely proven. Because that was the base of the hypothetical scenario described by OP

Who said the only option was to fuck them? Why would that scenario instantly mean that the only option is for women to pity fuck sad men? It was proven beyond a shadow of a doubt inside this scenario. Why not invest research and support for men who are so codependent on sex, they will kill themselves without it. Because the solution was already found. Without a shadow of a doubt. How is that not seen as a bigger systemic issue for men? Because the solution was already found. Now it is in the han…
