Yep:) I knew I didn’t want kids by the time I was 14. I have waffled on that a few times, and I tend to be content in most situations so I probably would have been ok with kids after, say, 35, but I do not regret getting my ducks in a row before even opening myself up to that possibility. My heirs are my two lovely nieces, and I love them deeply. We live in a society where even two parents are no longer enough to ensure a middle-class lifestyle for our kids. I’d rather help my brother turn out t…

No, they’re still a thing. I understand why people in general, and women in specific, see men as dangerous. But I also understand how hurtful that must be to men unfairly tarred by that brush.

I’m aware of the implication, dumbass. That’s why I pointed it out. No, there are neither women who aren’t women nor men who aren’t men. Just because YOU don’t personally approve of someone doesn’t mean that they’re not a woman or a man. That’s both vicious and stupid.

This OP is a perfect example of the type of person who will buy a sexbot as soon as they’re available, and make the entire world, including all of the women, better off and happier thereby.

Wow, the word ‘women’ in scare quotes. You’re openly insulting, and then act like the person you’re insulting is somehow irrationally emotional when they act like they’ve been insulted. You know, in some American states, ‘fighting words’ is a legal defense for battery.

Women love gay men not because of the metrosexuality, although that doesn’t hurt, but because gay men don’t GAF about women in general and can just be human friends without feeling resentful that they’re not getting sex from her.

Women are assumed to be harmless and men are assumed to be dangerous. Both are often wrong. It’s definitely an aspect of women’s privilege that I recognize and occasionally take advantage of (not in the sense of taking more than my share of anything, more like stepping in between ‘warring’ parties because I know neither will see me as threatening). And I can definitely see how hurtful it must be for men, especially young men, with no anger or selfishness in their hearts to be treated as potentia…

Huh. Well, you’re right that it’s a different culture. My ignorance is nearly 100% in that area; you could tell me that black folks like green teeth, and I’d neither believe nor disbelieve it because I have zero reference. Averages only speak to averages. Population statistics literally cannot break out groups unless they’re deliver breaking out subgroups, rather than looking at the population as a whole. Even with that said, statistics do not support the claim that ‘women prefer criminals.’ Women like confidence and charm, but if you have two men with confidence and charm, one of whom is a criminal sociopath and the other of whom is not, the latter is going to win every time. Furthermore, saying that a man is ‘hot…

Again, I have never seen or heard women speaking as you describe, despite almost 50 years as a woman. I have seen men being profoundly misogynistic in person. That might be a generational thing.

IDK where you’re hanging out, but I’ve literally never heard a woman say that criminal men are attractive, and I’m pushing 50 years as a woman. The trend I’m seeing online right now is that ‘a high value man is an average woman’: no criminal record, job, home, good personal hygiene, car, good family relationships, friends, etc. Which is still not nice to men, but is almost the opposite of what you’re claiming above. The thing is, there are very different groups of women out there. I’m in the upp…

No, men don’t all prefer that. When I was a teenager, thinness to the point of emaciation was the fad, and any woman who didn’t have her ribs and hip bones sticking out was considered ‘fat.’ A lot of men still prefer that. Other men are more attracted to women who are rounder than what’s currently in magazines. Not everyone wants a tradcon relationship, not everyone wants kids, etc- and that’s good for all of us, because it means that there’s probably someone out there who’s attracted to our uni…

The claim was that there is a great deal of singing about underage women (subtext: and sexual abuse) in rock. That claim was supported. Even if you think these sources were cherry-picked (they weren’t; it’s basically the first five links my search returned), the fact is that they support the claim that rock has at least some degree of problematic male behavior.

Similar thing happened to me, similar age. I was walking in the park with my dog, near my dad’s house. I can notice that other men are 'attractive,' but it's kind of in a distant sense. It's the same way I notice that a car is well-designed and well-kept, or a horse is pretty, or a flower. I can even be absolutely amazed at how pretty a flower is... but I don't want to have sex with it, or have a relationship. I don't even necessarily want it in my own garden, even if I think it looks fabulous in someone else's.

When you make a claim, it is on you to support it. It’s up to you to use that search engine, not me. burning someone to death is torture. If the dude was self-immolating as a form of protest, that's one thing; if she was doing it only for the prupose of harming him, it's another.

It’s completely different for multiple reasons. First, every woman knows that dudes sometimes flip out and go nuts if you reject them bluntly in person. Insults about 1/3 of the time, often with screaming, and physical contact or even violence on occasion. On the other hand, he’s much less likely to whip out his dick within the first 30 words. Second, in-person interactions are much more intense, even when there are no insults, than screen interactions. There are a whole host of non-verbal cues …

It’s ‘being rejected’ only to the same degree that a shopper choosing one brand of canned beans instead of another, for no reason but that the label on one is prettier, is ‘rejecting’ the other can of beans. Young men are begging to be useful and wanted. But only in ways not coded as even slightly ‘feminine.’ There are a lot of young men out there who apparently think that their dick will fall off if they are overly competent at grocery shopping or any kind of care work. This is not all young men, and possibly not even a majority, but JFC the paranoia about the ‘loss of masculinity’ in some circles is very, very deep.

‘What they missed out on,’ ie, by being monogamous rather than fucking anything that moves? My boy, I hate to break it to you, but most men have far more sex inside of a relationship than outside of one. And a man who wants an open relationship can find women who want open relationships. And women are compensated for the work they do within a marriage as well as the career they missed out on. Look at the salaries of live-in personal chefs, live-in nannies, and live-in housekeepers. Men don’t ’get women pregnant,’ unless they’re rapists. Most of the time, the two of them are joint participants. That means that the man is just as responsible as the woman for the condition, but biologically the entire physical burden is on her. As for ‘abstinence until you’re ready to have a kid,’ ask Piper Palin how well that works. We all come from a hundred thousand generations of people who failed to keep it in their pants.

People have a little bit more control over whom they marry than over major economic forces. This is not a huge ask. I wish we lived in a world where people could be who they naturally are, without gender stereotypes and social pressure. There would still be bimodal distributions on a lot of things, but no one would be called ‘unmanly’ or ‘unfeminine’ for not falling on the mode. On dating apps, the first questions would be, ‘I have genitalia X, I am attracted to genitalia B, I do/do not want my own biological children with my romantic partner, I do/do not want exclusivity.’

snort https://nypost.com/2025/01/29/real-estate/single-women-own-millions-more-homes-than-single-men-in-the-us/ And no, it’s not because ‘they get it in the divorce.’ Young, college-educated women statistically earn more than young men in the same demographic… until they have kids. It is the responsibility of caring for children, not being female, that causes the wage gap. If a woman eschews marriage and children, she’s going to statistically be better off than you.

That’s why a barter marketplace is a better metaphor. You go to market because you have a cow, and you need some grain or a barrel or a multitude of things. But maybe the cooper need a dairy cow, not a beef cow. Or maybe your cow is ugly. Or maybe your cow is barren. Maybe the cooper doesn’t want a cow at all. You have to find the best trade with someone who has something close to what you want, who also wants what you’re selling.

Most primary teachers, including back when women were still being excluded from many places of higher education and learning was seen as a ‘male’ endeavor, have always been women. All teachers care about all of their students, and it’s laughable to claim that they do not. Society as a whole does not care about public school students as a whole, as evidenced by classrooms with 40 or more students to a single teacher, no AC and/or no heat, etc, and that statistically hurts boys more than girls. The research I have seen does not support that assertion. This: Wikipedia article is a good, well-sourced description of the current consensus. False accusations do happen, but they’re extremely rare. Most of the guys who say they were falsely accused were not falsely accused, or at a minimum were behaving in a very sketchy even if technically legal way. It’s kind of like when some men say that their ex-wife ‘won’t let him see his kids,’ but didn’t actually ask for greater custody in the settlement and doesn’t want to have to ever make them meals, shop for school clothes, or do any of the actual work of caring for them. Boys used to be ‘better than girls’ at education, in much stricter contexts. I agree that getting rid of recess was stupid, and that class sizes are too big, and that we need more male teachers. But if boys can’t accept that the teaching is for them unless it’s about them, rather than about everyone, that’s a cultural problem, not just a school problem.

Multiple points of disagreement, in order of your post: First, you’re talking as if all women are the same. A LOT of women out there are not interested in crazy men, and never have been, just like a lot of men were never interested in crazy women, no matter how hot the sex might have been. The problem is that nice girls are wallflowers, just like nice guys are. We’re in the science classroom for Science Olympiad, with our hair in a ponytail, jeans and a tshirt, and no makeup, not going to cheer …
/r/PurplePillDebate09/04/25 12:29 AM

By that standard, it would be rational for all women to hate all men, and for all black people (all people of color, really) to hate all white people.
/r/PurplePillDebate08/04/25 11:48 PM

Men can still join the military, join the cloister, or join the trades if they aren’t appealing to mates. It just won’t guarantee them sex and power.
/r/PurplePillDebate08/04/25 11:46 PM

Not unless you’re profoundly misanthropic.
/r/PurplePillDebate08/04/25 11:44 PM

As groups, men and women are the same. As individuals, people are different from each other.

So, a couple of decades ago I hit a boyfriend in what I thought was a ‘playful’ way, and he joking/not joking said, ‘Help, help, domestic abuse!’ And it shocked me to the core. I’ve never hit anyone since. I was basically taught that me hitting someone wouldn’t actually hurt them, that it was basically like a kitten threatening to hurt you. But the reality is that a grown human woman generally weighs as much as at least 30 kittens, and 30 kittens absolutely could cause some damage.

In natural disasters where areas are cut off from sources of trade, gas may indeed get up to $50/gallon (or more) because it’s extremely difficult to bring in and/or the people selling will have to go without fuel for themselves if they sell some to you. Putting artificial price caps on will only mean that it’s not profitable to bring fuel in, and/or it’s not worth it for those who have fuel to sell it to you. The market is the market, and yes, that is a tautology, but it’s also relevant because…

The average woman wears makeup sometimes, but not lashes, etc and definitely not makeup to the degree you’re implying. We do not have the fucking time for all of that. I’m a very heterosexual woman, and my hypothesis is that some degree of same-sex love is required to be able to make oneself attractive in anything other than a formulaic way. I am not good at it. I kind of don’t care about my appearance, or that of other women, beyond basic hygiene; I dress in relatively ‘classic’ fashion because it’s formulaic and easy. I strongly suspect that men are bi just as often as women are, but they’re socially punished much more harshly for it.

We don’t have kids, which is huge, and we’re pretty copacetic in terms of values and goals- but we’re abut equally likely to cook, and it’s really fantastic to occasionally have another person at home (or wherever) to help with forgotten issues or help with tasks that have piled up abruptly. Men are much more likely to leave a woman who gets cancer or some other chronic, serious diagnosis, than vice-versa. Men also move on if their female partner dies. Not at all, to the extent that those words alone mean anything. But among the fundamental tenets of terp philosophy is the idea that women are incapable of actual love or loyalty, and any woman who believes that has been abused and gaslit into self-hatred. In addition, the subtext implication that terps are ‘the best men’ is just irrational. Terps, almost by definition, are men who have been unsuccessful at getting or maintaining relationships.
/r/PurplePillDebate22/03/25 07:35 PM

Women are penalized in the workplace for asking for raises, both by their bosses and by others. Edit: changed the source, because the first link was too messy. As for ‘getting family members to watch the kids,’ why is it acceptable to ask a family member to watch kids for free, but not to help re-roof a house? I’ve worked on the latter; it really was not that difficult. Hot, physical labor, to be sure, but not complicated and done in a short period of time with all of the guys and teens in the f…

There is a lot of disagreement on ‘anyone can do it’ 😂 The limit based on how much women earn doing other work makes sense, as does the fact that women are socially penalized for not being ‘nice,’ eg, asking for higher pay.

When women move into a field, they pay in that field goes down. When men move into a field, the pay in that field goes up. Child care is extremely, immediately needed and necessary for capitalism in this country to work. The more they accept that trope, the more likely they are to want a 'perfect' wedding, and the more likely they are to hit the brick wall of reality face-first. Liberal women probably have more sexual partners, and are probably more likely to be open to ‘ethical non-monogamy’ or poly relationships, but that’s not the same as cheating. I strongly doubt that a liberal woman in a committed, monogamous relationship is more likely to cheat than a conservative woman in the same type of relationship, because liberalism takes a harder line against non-consent (ie, violating your partner’s trust) and lying. Conservatives, especially Christians, have the whole ‘J…

Again, I was not associating ‘all men’ with Brock Turner. As for the lack of a father figure, how about we start by ending the excuses men give for not taking the visitation that they are already granted?! And also, I even giving a dad primary custody isn’t going to do jack shit if he just hires a nanny and still ignores his kids.

The reason that dating apps are a thing in the first place is that they allow one to pre-screen candidates. Most women do not have good success with dudes ‘just asking them out.’ Nobody wants a Trump supporter, or a big game hunter, or a dude with balls on his truck, and those guys are just as likely to ask you out as any normal guy. You can screen for it on an app.

Nah, you’re right to a large extent. Kids just aren’t that fulfilling for most people, especially with the helicopter parenting and investment required nowadays, and people just don’t want to do it. There are people who find taking care of kids the most fulfilling and wonderful thing in their lives, and if there’s any genetic component to that at all, those genes are going to swiftly out-populate other alleles in the population. You want to whine that only 10% of men on dating apps get all of the attention, when there are 10 men for every 1 woman, and chalk that up to ‘female entitlement’? That just makes you bad at math.

Yes and no- I am way out of my depth here, but apparently in some states it’s impossible to next-to-impossible to get referenda on the ballot; in addition, a lot of states, and especially red states, are gerrymandered into single-party states, which allows/ causes their legislatures to be controlled by the most radical parts of their parties.
/r/PurplePillDebate28/12/24 08:53 AM

AFAIK every red state in which abortion was restricted or outlawed, and which had a referendum put to the vote to allow abortion, had that referendum pass or at least receive a majority of the votes. Florida’s got like 60% approval, even though that wasn’t enough to pass it.

we were talking about my mother, whom I had mentioned got pregnant in her late teens, and we are on a forum in which men semi-regularly claim that women should be started on popping out kids when they hit 15, or start menstruating, whichever comes first. I did not claim to be an expert in Catholicism; we stopped going to church before I was 10. I do, however, still have an entire family of Catholics. And a surrounding community of Catholics. 'No sex before marriage' is rarely expected, much less…

I have literally never met a single woman who 'monkey branches.' I have seen several men do so. Like pretty much all terp dogma, it is projection. I never said parental alienation isn't real. I believe it happens. I also, however, believe that what a lot of men call 'parental alienation' is 'a crappy dad seeing the direct effects of his own behavior, and refusing to accept that it's his behavior that is the cause.' *snort* Sex is *supposed* to come after marriage in Catholic dogma, and if it doesn't, you're supposed to marry the person you had sex with. The latter is more common than the former, afaik. Very young mothers are more likely to miscarry. The biological best time for a woman to have a child- when there is the greatest likelihood of good outcomes for both the woman and the infant - is in the mid-20's. I disagree. There should be no ceiling and no floor, only a sliding scale based on the non-custodial parent's income and wealth.

IDK what the ratios are, but after a divorce (which is what we're talking about), more men completely ghost their kids than actually take the visitation they're granted, much less ask for more. A lot of men see children as extensions of their wives, not of themselves, and as something that their wife wanted and that they helped to create to make their wife happy.

My mom was raised to be a good little catholic girl, and married the first man she slept with after he knocked her up, in her late teens- you know, because everyone’s judgment is so great when they’re teens! Just like terps are always saying is the best of all worlds, ‘how things should be.’ The only part that wasn’t the terp fantasy was that she divorced him after he cheated on her.

I don’t think that there should be a cap. I also don’t think there should be a floor. Child support should be based on the father’s ability to give. If he becomes disabled and has no inherited wealth, and could barely support himself, he should be paying little to no child support. If he’s sending Teslas to Mars for fun, his kids should each have their own private doctor.

Firstly, there are a lot of stable, average men in LTRs in their 20’s, and a lot of women in relationships with them. Most women do want a stable LTR. Most of the sex that is had in the 20’s, is in the context of LTRs. But that’s doesn’t = ‘permanent’ or ‘marriage.’ Most people have a couple of failed LTRs before they find one that sticks: they’re a slob, or the other person is a slob, or they’re abusive, or the other person is, or they’re too independent, or too clingy, or the other person is. …

Oh! Well, at least you’re slightly less hypocritical than most PLs. Most of y’all think that a child’s right to occupy and use its parents’ bodies for life support should end at birth. snort that’s not why men have a shorter average lifespan. It’s almost entirely from a combination of early life fragility (boys are slightly more likely to die of SIDS, iirc, and early childhood illnesses); immediate risk-taking in the teens and young adult years (‘Hey, guys, watch this!’), and long-term risk taking (smoking, vaping, drinking to excess, eating copious amounts of red meat, etc).

I was mostly celibate by choice in my 20’s and 30’s, but nice attempt at an ad-hominem. Also, it is frankly disgusting that you think that any relationship of any length in one’s 20’s and 30’s is somehow ‘better’ than marrying a man, having his children if the couple wants them, and living a life together with him. It’s pathetic, honestly, and it’s reflective of an attitude that does not consider women to be real people and does not consider friendships or relationships to have any value. A woma…

It has nothing to do with that stat [that there are 5 men for every woman] It was based on women’s assessment of 100 men If you’re referring to the OKC data, you need to be aware of 2 things: first, at the time that they drew down the data, they were notifying people whom one ranked highly that one had done so. Women who wanted to browse anonymously would deliberately rank men below the top tiers to avoid notifying the guy that the woman had been on their page. Second, the relative numbers still…

It’s not just emasculation or childishness. Sometimes it’s simple, base, disgust. This happens with grooming issues: when a man clearly has not been brushing his teeth, or has a gangrenous foot and can be smelled from 100 feet away, to take some obvious examples of guys who actually hit on me at work when I was younger. Other times it’s creepiness- the sense that a guy wants something from you, and would take it without permission if he could. Think Steven Miller in Trump’s cabinet for a paradig…

So do you agree, then, that men are so inherently disgusting that a woman allowing herself to be touched by one automatically becomes dirty herself? Because that’s kind of what it sounds like. It seems like a kind of internalized misandry.

Ok. I don’t do casual sex, and never did, but let me give you an example. A co-worker of mine does not generally date a lot here in town. I have never partaken in casual sex. Some of my friends have. And they generally do it because they want sex, and they think a guy is hot, and for no other reason- basically, exactly the same reason a man would do casual sex. The personality or desires of the other human, aside from obtaining consent, are irrelevant. It’s basically masturbation.

The women you meet in their 30’s, including the low n women, see or hear you referring to women as having ‘been run through’ and are disgusted. Iam relatively low n, and I find it degrading and dehumanizing that anyone might think that my number of sexual partners determines my worth. In addition, it betrays an attitude about sex- that sex degrades and devalues a woman, and that men are so inherently filthy that being with a man makes a woman dirty- that women do not want to deal with.

The hyperbole creep is kind of amusing. It started out as ‘women only chase the top 20%,’ then ‘the top 10%,’ and now it’s ’the top 5%.’ I’m guessing someone will claim ‘the top 1%,’ or ‘the top 0.01%,’ fairly soon.

You do know that sex is a mutual activity right? Yeah, that is my point. There are a lot of men who do not care, or even act like they know, that the woman they are having sex with is an actual person. They are effectively treating her as an animate blow-up doll, using her body to masturbate.

This idea that men have that women can ‘get sex at any time,’ is so laughable. Most of us don’t want sex unless it’s with a specific person. Most of us get off alone far better than we do with what you’re talking about. The difference between men and women around sex isn’t that women can get it easier, it’s that most men prefer to masturbate with a woman’s body (her personality is not, apparently, necessary for many men), and most women prefer to masturbate alone. If you want to talk about mutua…

In addition to cleaning, is she also doing grocery shopping, planning meals, making appointments, doing taxes, prepping food, doing maintenance, doing yard work, taking kids to doctors’ appointments, and running errands that can’t be done after hours? No, it doesn’t imply anything about ‘the true prevalence’ because we don’t know what portion of men asked for the test. If 1% asked for a test and 30% of those showed non-paternity, that would be a very different thing than if 50% asked for the test and 30% of those showed non-paternity. This should be obvious and very simple math. It’s 30% of men who actually have reason to suspect non-paternity (ie, 70% of them are wrong). In western countries, it’s between <1-5% of all births, depending on the study. It varies from country to country. Basically, the less coercion (legal, social, and financial) there is on women to settle, the less non-paternity there is, because women only marry when they find a man they want in those countries.

Besides which, most murders are impulsive and if he’s not outside, he’s not going to have the impulse to murder random people… Which brings up the real problem with this plan, which is that the vast majority of women who are murdered, are murdered by their spouses or other male family members (iirc men are more likely to be murdered by strangers), and confining men to the home during any time period whatsoever might actually increase the female murder…

I think it depends on the motivation. If he's actually accusing her of cheating, then the paranoia and lack of trust are a problem; I think that's' why a lot of women are offended by it. If it's just the biological 'men can only ever be 99% sure, where women can be 100% sure' thing, then I don't have a problem. It's 'distrust,' vs. 'trust but verify.'

I can definitely see it both ways. But the point stands: a woman who is raped is far less likely to see justice than a man who is accused of rape having been falsely accused. And if you look at the general population, far more women are sexually assaulted and/or raped at some point in their lives than men are accused of rape, because most men aren’t rapists but all women can be victims, so the concern of the average woman about being raped is far more justifiable than the concern of the average man over being falsely accused.

There is the chance of another guy, and you are taking a risk- and, of course, so is she. There’s always the chance of another woman, too. That’s part of why there is so much drama - music, books, movies, plays, etc- about romance, and have been since music and drama and books were a thing. We’re all vulnerable, and we’re all a little bit afraid. Men and women both vary from individual to individual in how naturally monogamous they are. The key for happy relationships isn’t necessarily for every…

Women do not lie about rape more than anyone lies about having been burgled or experienced road rage, statistically, and paternity fraud is quite rare in cultures where women can choose the fathers of their children. I’m 100% fine with making paternity tests routine at birth, though, because so many men seem to fear this so much. Cheek swabs are harmless, and making it routine would eliminate the sense of distrust a lot of women perceive around the question.

Firstly, most post-war western men are, indeed, quite tolerant. However, there is a regressive subset of them with a toddler’s view of adulthood, that being a ‘grown up’ means that you get to say what you want and do what you want, whenever you want, any to whomever you want, and that subset is having a giant tantrum over the fact that grownups cannot actually do any of that without consequences. They’ve grown hateful of the people telling them that the world isn’t like that any more, if it ever…

No, merely contradicting the statements that 1)there are only ever 2 genders and 2)that genes are 100% in control. However, I think even trans people would mostly agree that being trans is not ideal, and maybe even equivalent to a birth defect- one that can be corrected, to at least some extent, by surgery. Just like other birth defects.

In addition to intersex people, already mentioned, people and animals can be exposed to androgizing or feminizing chemical in utero, and there are also congenital conditions that make genetic males into de-facto females via androgen insensitivity.

Ok, the only data I’ve seen that actually supports those claims are the OKC data… which come from a point in time when OKC would show people if someone had rated them high or very high. I myself was on OKC at that time, and I (like a lot of women) stopped rating any men in those ranks within a day of trying it, after it induced men to contact me when I had only meant to sort them and then go back later for a deeper look. So, cumulatively, there were very few men being put into those ranks. Secon…

No, I don’t. But the simple fact of the matter is that the “choices” are not equal for men and women. If they women have different consequences for making the same choice as men, then the choice is not responsible for the consequences, it’s the fact the at they did it while female.

I have multiple co-workers who took less than a month off after giving birth. It’s the US: there is no paid maternal leave. Other co-workers have become the primary caretakers and only work part time in order to be able to take care of the kids. The former is absolutely more secure for the woman, and potentially the children, if the husband looses his job or has an affair and decides to marry a 20 year old when he hits his 40’s.

Then, since she is sacrificing her current income and lifetime earning potential for their children, she should be entitled to half of the extra earnings he gets by being able to work more because she is doing the child care.

Let’s say you have a married, heterosexual couple. They mutually decide to have children. The man’s income, statistically, will go up. The woman’s income, statistically, will go down. Did her income go down because of her ‘choice’ to have children? Why wouldn’t his income do the same, if it was about the choice to have children?

Hundreds or thousands of living human cells (in addition to the superficial dry, dead ones) are ripped from their comfortable, supportive environment- which evolved to perfectly support them- to be cast adrift on the wind, settling out as dust- or to be consumed by fungus under the nails.

The men who whine about ‘the friend zone’ do so because they do not value friendship and see women as useful only for sex. You’re basically admitting that you do not see women as real people, and only give them the time of day if you want to manipulate them into fucking you with superficial niceness.

🤦🏻‍♀️ why do you deny any responsibility at all because you can’t fix the entire problem by yourself? Just have male friends. Pay attention when they’re suffering. Don’t sell them to just ‘buck it up’ or ‘be a man.’ Offer support. Encourage therapy. Encourage medicine, if that’s what they need. Let them talk to you. Be the change you wish to see. That’s all any of us can do to actually fix things. whining on the internet and blaming women for all of your suffering has about as much actual effect…

Development inside the uterus is preparing a receptacle, not building a soul. I’ve seen enough literal death to know that sometimes a body is empty, even when it still looks just fine. The body is just a body. https://churchandstate.org.uk/2017/03/hey-conservatives-the-bible-says-when-a-fetus-is-alive-and-its-not-when-you-think/

There are plenty of parasites that do not, for various reasons, cause immune responses in the host. The reason that a fetus isn’t a parasite is that parasitism is definitionally one species using the resources of another species, in a way that harms the host. If the fetus caused the exact same effects in the host but was of a different species, it absolutely would fit the definition of a parasite.

1)If you are unwilling to address the fact that one of the best preventions for suicide and addiction is for men to seek medical help for these issues, and that there needs to be state and federal action to widen access to both psychological and medical therapies, then complaining about them is just valorization of victimhood. 2)If you are unwilling to address the fact that the best preventions of death by accidents, by heart disease, and by cancer are alterations of risk-taking behavior (extrem…

/r/PurplePillDebate19/07/24 02:15 AM

Again, you’re trying to redefine a word in order to score a point, and also, saying that sex for money is ‘not a service’ is kind of laughable. Hell, we even use the word ‘servicing’ to describe breeding livestock. But English is apparently not your first language, so you can be forgiven for the confusion. Maybe the terms have slightly different definitions in German.
