Okay. Let's get back to basics. Because I don't think we necessarily disagree.... we just seem to be having a semantic disagreement. I do not disagree at all that "Spousal support for a woman during pregnancy is nothing more than the leadership of a strong man." No one but you mentioned supplicating or kissing ass.... leadership and support can (and often are) synonymous. You also say quite sarcastically... "Really? How did the human race ever survive?!?!" Neonaticide rates are surprisingly diff…

Wow. Um, PPD has nothing to do with whether or not you "picked the right girl".... seemingly normal and loving and motherly women suffer from PPD and PPS (postpartum psychosis). You know that women used to kill their children all the fucking time right??? Spousal support is one of the most influential factors in a woman's navigation of the postpartum period.... and being supportive of a pregnant spouse in no way teaches children to unnecessarily pedestalize women... it teaches them to value our …

I'm a lady who's had two children.... Imagine your body had been hijacked by a mind-controlling "zombie" parasite. You're conscious. You're aware. You have zero control. That is what pregnancy is. It's a serious mind-fuck. Some of it is great. Some is awful. And you have no idea what you're going to get. So.... everything you think you know... about your wife, about women, about sex, about pregnancy... just forget it. She's probably just as bewildered by the whole thing as you are. Like others s…

I know women who spend HOURS a day and hundreds of dollars on products and haircuts and salon visits to take themselves from extremely unattractive to slightly less unattractive. If they would spend half? a third? of that time/money at the gym or in the kitchen cooking healthy meals, they could actually become attractive and healthy. But that's too much work. And working hard to change your appearance means you hate yourself. Obviously.... /s

Most people you see walking down the street are absurdly unhealthy. I probably wasn't explicitly clear in my comment. I think everyone is attractive when they are healthy. Having an acne covered face is a sign of hormonal imbalance and/or an infection.... aka, not healthy....

If you are fit, there is a 99% chance you are attractive. My husband and I have talked about this at length.... barring some crazy deformity, everyone is attractive. Let me repeat that, everyone is attractive. Just look at before/after weight loss pictures. With enough muscle mass, decent nutrition, and a low or normal bf% everyone has an attractive enough face. Everyone. You very much sound like you have some serious body dysmorphia. Please get help. Learn to love yourself. Be interesting. Have…

I'll let the guys around here give advice and opinions but the biggest thing sticking out to me is.... "... if she was turning me down she might start to wonder if my needs were being met..." Um.... they're not?

Have you considered.... doing stuff in the evening instead? Some people are night owls. Work with your biology not against it.

Motivation is fleeting. Dedication is what you're seeking. You don't want to? Do it anyways. Day in and day out. Put in the work. There is no magic answer the internet can give you.... this has to come from within yourself.

I don't necessarily believe that aging women stop receiving sexual attention. It just doesn't fit with what I've seen. I was a bartender for many years in a military town.... women 40+ pulled in young attractive guys all the time; both for ONS and relationships. That said, physical aging is going to happen, but there is a lot you can do. It all comes down to two things: genetics and lifestyle. Only one can be controlled. I am WAY better looking at 32 (and two kids) than I was at 22. Because I di…

In your position, there's not much you would be expected to do. And a lot of it centers around your relationships with the individuals in the family. I would ask your husband if/how you could be helpful. If he is too distraught/emotional, I would ask whichever sibling is the one who takes charge. Usually that's the oldest, but not always; sometimes a middle child or a spouse. A simple, "how can I help you?" is all that you really need to do. If you notice something specific that needs done and n…

Por que no los dos? Seriously though.... guy two wins by a landslide. He looks like he would unapologetically fuck.... pulling my hair, pinning me down, maybe some light choking. Guy one would ineffectively eat pussy for way too long and then do that strange stripper-move, body roll sex to show off his abs. And he would go on and on after about how amazing it was and would text me ten times within a week.... which would be fine if he had a personality to match that faux-hawk. Source: have had se…

Disclaimer: I am a woman. I won't comment on what you should do as a husband because it's not my place.... but I have recently lost 60lbs that I gained postpartum, I used to work as a trainer in a gym, and I am an RN... so I may be of some help. Some things that came to mind reading this: 1.) She just had a baby. She is on SSRI's. Is her thyroid healthy? Post-partum thyroid conditions are relatively common, can be subtle, and can be mistaken for depression (or can occur concurrently.) If she is …

I am a stay-at-home mom with a 5 year old and a two-and-a-half year old. I think it's important for a parent (preferably the mother) to be a child's primary caregiver for the first few years of a child's life. My husband and I decided that having me home with our kids was worth making a few financial sacrifices (smaller house, only one car, mostly homemade meals, etc.). Our long term plan was to homeschool our children but my daughter has expressed an interest in trying kindergarten next fall so…

Changing habits is hard. Self-awareness is hard. Attacking strangers on the internet is easy.... and incredibly immature. Just stop. You are being rude and not at all helpful.

Husband and I have always been big texters. He travels a lot and can't always talk or FaceTime.... without texting, we would literally not talk for weeks at a time. I think that as long as both people in the relationship are on the same page, texting can be a wonderful thing. But if either party is the type to over analyze every little word (or how long a reply takes), it should probably be kept to a minimum.

Breastfeeding mother here. Maybe I could chime in with my experience/perspective to see if it might help... My husband could have written this post not too long ago. It's a shit place to be. Definitely rule out (abnormal) medical causes. Breastfeeding decreases libido, especially if the menstrual cycle has not returned. But, it doesn't necessarily make it non-existent. In our case, I had postpartum thyroiditis (which causes low energy, weight gain, AND low libido, amongst other things). Postpart…
