NEET not in education, employment or training, and refers to a person who has left school and/or college but has failed to secure a job or placement in some kind of vocational training.
/r/PurplePillDebate06/12/22 03:57 PM
1

It really does suck but it's how the world works. True, and that's why I advocate for normalization of NEET lifestyle and UBI. Let the ugly loners have some semblance of happiness by stopping all the shame around "basement dweller gamer" stereotype. Why can't we just acknowledge that not every guy can have meaning in life through work, and many of those guys are not gonna win in the romantic sphere either? But no, society insists on shaming them and dogpiling on them.

The kind of guy you're describing will still have some difficulty getting a meaningful relationship if he's unattractive/not conventionally attractive, but he can still do it. But you understand, that it can get incredibly depressing? The asymmetry is just mind boggling. An equivalent woman will have 0 trouble hooking up with guys out of her league. Even if she wants a relationship, the casual options are SOMETHING. The man has nothing to fall back on.
/r/PurplePillDebate06/12/22 03:04 PM

That wasn't the point. The point was, men aren't the assholes women paint them out to be.

At least you're honest about it. Sorry but this is all depressing. Depressing to know that some men can put in enormous amounts of effort, into their looks and career and hobbies and life and still be seen as backup options.

The girl who flashes her tits at a concert is even more likely to be exclusively fucking the stereotypical frat douche/chad. So it doesn't matter if men filter them out, those girls would not be interested in the average guy anyway. The bigger problem is when these women were sluts for chad and prudish for the average guy.
/r/PurplePillDebate06/12/22 10:33 AM
1

And if you're not a supermodel yourself then its definitely worth thinking about if you're overlooking women who aren't models. Lol I can't believe we are still on this. It's women who exclusively want Chad. The average Bob is happy to fuck the average Becky.

ALL of my female friends immediately block or ignore men who sexualize us immediately. That isn’t husband material or anyone I would be interested in whatsoever. Doesn't mean you never has casual sex. It's a rare guy who is trying to be husband material.

Exactly, that's why I kept my distance too. But I thought there must be some knucklehead who thinks it's not a joke. Maybe some version of the truth has finally filtered down to the average Joe. Unless you're Chad, don't bother.

To be fair to them, the assumption is every woman has been or currently is some Chad's bootycall. They shot their shot in that sense. Men who don't get much of a shot at casual sex will take it when they get it.

I remember seeing a woman on public transit once, wearing a t shirt that said "ask me out". I just kept looking around the entire ride thinking SOME guy would approach her. NOT.ONE.GUY. I don't think anybody even noticed her t shirt. I was speechless.

You need to give a guy SOME signal that it's cool to approach. Contrary to popular belief, not all of us are gigachad alpha slayers. I would not bother approaching either, unless I was doing some kind of challenge to get rejected a 100 times or something.

Casual sex is...nothing. An unfulfilling pursuit of pleasure that feels good briefly. But you don't understand, women NEED to fuck chads indiscriminately and then cry about getting dumped for a few years before pretending to wise up and lock down some dude under false pretenses and make the rest of his life miserable.

As long as people can be in different chapters at different ages? Just because the average woman hoed around in the 20s, doesn't mean the average guy did too. Maybe his opportunities came later and he will take advantage of them.

I saw a women living in a scandinavian country post her tinder data on dataisbeautiful. She was average looking, and she was EXTREMELY picky on tinder. Swiped right on maybe 1% of men. She is already in an area with a higher proportion of tall white chads, and she was extremely selective. Plenty of people in the subreddit noticed it. She was a good example of what OP pointed out.

the prerequisites to being thought of as masculine tend to be a zero sum game with no reward. Your status is raised by stepping on other men, so the pinnacle of success is just being the biggest piece of shit in the world. This is what women don't want to accept, because it makes them complicit in the game due to their attraction to the winner (the biggest piece of shit).

Why, why, why do you guys think that women specifically WANT a promiscuous man or admire that behavior? Observation. I know some guys who will tell women about all the sexcapades (real or made up) on even the first date. A ton of women find it a great topic and want to engage the guy more. Sure there are some that don't care, but no woman I know is actively disgusted by it.

Why aren't you a criminal, if their lives are so great? Because achieving things in life requires discipline and a long term outlook. As much as we desperately want casual sex, becoming a criminal would require us to abandon all long term pursuits.

Women are attracted to abusive men in general. There was a movie released here in which the lead male actor is an abusive alcoholic asshole who slaps his gf around. /r/PurplePillDebate24/11/22 03:05 PM

Because they are not as attracted to man #2, and they have ulterior motives when dating him. Women play games with the bf material guy, not with the hot casual sex guy. Then these women gaslight us into thinking they care more about the bf guy. Yeah right. Also, the man #1 probably has a lot of options. If she plays games, he will simply next her to move onto someone who IS willing to fuck him.

We live in a hyper sexualized society. Sexual images are everywhere This is something nobody wants to talk about. Every sitcom is full of sexual innuendos, all the advertising is sexual, casual sex and hookups are there in every type of media...... I found some series where sex was almost nonexistent as a plot point and I was surprised at feeling a lot more chill watching it. I am sure someone will call me a prude for saying this, but I'm serious.

Yep, I have a friend who is deeply insecure but had a bunch of casual sex because he knew how to fake it, and he used preselection to great effect. Just come across as someone who has been with a lot of women, and more women will be swooning over you. It's like women have 0 capability to make a decision for themselves and can only be ok with a partner if other women have been with him.

I wish I could show you all the men I know who did follow the same path as you and did get into a decent relationship With all due respect, I have never seen women lust over a decent guy. I remember one friend from grad school who sticks out as an example. Funniest dude I ever met, in great shape (he was into swimming), had all his hair, average height, outgoing etc. Now works for a FAANG. Didn't have much success. Women just seemed bored with him.

Then we saw guys who were more traditionally masculine, those who were more aggressive, more forward, "stronger", those who didn't show a variety of emotions, they got girls The first guy I saw get a gf in high school was a complete bully. He stole people's lunches, was constantly in trouble with the teachers, would stick a phone under women's skirts (when they were distracted) to take pics and would show everyone. I think a large percentage of MTF transition, like impersonating women online, is sexually motivated. I disagree. I think they are simply more feminine and since the bounds of acceptable behavior and personality are so narrow for men, they feel suffocated and lonely, and feel like outcasts.

ONSs are great if the novelty is important, which is for many men. For me it's more about enthusiasm. If she's really feeling it and is freaky, great. LTR or ONS or FWB or whatever, doesn't matter. I'd go for an enthusiastic 5 anyday. Which is what baffles me about women. Why not select for enthusiasm and willingness to please, than just going for the 10/10 model looking dude? And then complain "all men are trash" because some guy way out of your league pumped and dumped you?

I don't think a lot of women find their casual partners better than their husbands. I made no statements about better as a whole. I was talking about sexuality. If women have better sex with their husbands/serious bfs, then casual sex would not exist.

Divorce is still better than being married to someone who only married you as a last resort or sees you as sexually beneath her. Since most women have casually fucked a good looking dude, their husband will never match up to him. Average women can fuck Chad casually anytime they want, average men can almost never fuck Stacy casually.

I learned that many women are genuinely unaware of the social privileges that they enjoy I know women who look at their male friends' dating apps and cannot fathom them not getting matches. I'm basing it on the multitudes of men who say that opening up to their wives was a huge mistake, and that their marriage suffered after it. Women can't handle male vulnerability. Just look at all the "feminists" making fun of Jordan Peterson when he cried thinking about the hopelessness he saw in some men. These dudes cover it : https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=abQo5wWkMxs
/r/PurplePillDebate30/10/22 03:21 PM
3

Women won't change, attraction is not negotiable. This incentivizes toxic behavior from men. So the cycle continues. Therapy can be expensive unless you are on a decent health insurance plan. I don't see a solution. A good % of men will go on living lives of quiet desperation, esp the ones who aren't alpha dog types. Which is why I keep saying that the only quasi solution is to make the NEET life acceptable. These men are not gonna win, the least we can do is stop mocking them.

If you think that she's using you by talking to you about her problems, you don't see her as a friend Will she help me fix my car? Help me move? Listen to my problems? More than likely, she won't. Women don't even do that stuff for their actual boyfriends sometimes.

Celebrity marriages are basically PR exercises. All the dudes have other partners or are seeing escorts on the down low (see: kevin hart). Their marriages are arrangements. Their wives know the score for the most part. The cheating isn't the big issue for them, the public humiliation is. Adults who think of any celebrity marriage as #relationship goals should grow up. Their world is nothing like yours, and those people play by a different set of rules.

And the woman should not have given her egg before ensuring the guy will be a father. Moreover, it might not have been a decision. Multiple birth control methods can fail. Just be…

/r/PurplePillDebate27/09/22 04:50 PM

Why should they get that choice. Once the kid is an adult, it's a choice between 2 consenting adults, the absent father and his kid. What they do between them is their business.
/r/PurplePillDebate27/09/22 04:47 PM

parting with their money was worse than parting with their child It's not a child until late stages of pregnancy. It's just a fetus. Nobody owes anything to a fetus. It's not a life yet.

Which just means that the sexual attraction is still there like it was. Good for you and your partner, but it doesn't answer the question of what your partner brings to the table that your closest drinking buddy doesn't. If anything, I'd say same sex friendships are closer because men and women have completely different perspectives. So a guy will always relate better with another guy.

I'm a dude, and I have seen so many such guys. They only marry doormats, so they can continue being shitheads in their personal life. The women end up shutting down and having 0 boundaries, 0 preferences, 0 opinions.

You hear from them all the time. People just choose to focus on the loudest incels. This 100%. There are a lot of guys who don't talk about it, but have retreated into their hobbies/gaming/whatever else they like. They don't even attempt to date anymore.
/r/PurplePillDebate26/09/22 10:13 AM

Simping. Getting possessive and controlling. Being a dick to everyone just to prove how alpha and badass they are. Dating women who are doormats just because their fragile ego can't handle a woman who can stand up for herself. Then cheating on those women with the "party girls". (Basically the male version of AF/BB).

Hormones are related to sexual attraction. Nature wants us to fuck and make babies. The fact that research says the honeymoon period of most couples is over in 2 years, and the drudgery then begins, should tell you there's nothing more to it. That's why they call marriage/long relationships work. It's the price you pay to have kids. It's a chore, like a part time job.

There's an emotional element too, there's something more intimate about the type of love that you have for your spouse that you don't get with other people. This is a completely hand-wavy explanation. Next you'll tell me "you'll know once you're in love". There's nothing concrete in your statement.

If that's the only thing you could come up with, then you implicitly agree with men who say women are only good for physical intimacy.

Men tell women what they want to hear to continue getting laid. They don't actually change their thought patterns. On rare occasions, they actually do fall hard for someone. Doesn't happen often.

A lot of them have this obsession with age gap relationships, not illegal ones, but legal ones. I feel it's from an extreme insecurity. They loved being that young wallflower that was the object or preciousness and sought after, forbidden. They enjoyed having that relationship with older rich men. But they've aged out of it so it makes it really bitter for them whenever they see anything about other women doing such. Ding ding ding.

I mean there's a lot of things that don't matter for sex, but matter more long-term (sense of humor, intelligence, kindness, friendship, morals, honesty, religious/political views, etc). initial attraction and long-term term attraction aren't the same thing.

And for sex/flings...surprise!! Women also care about a hot body & handsome face! So why relax those standards for relationships? Clearly sex is important to men in a relationship, and if you're not into him as much, he's gonna notice (if he isn't a simp).

In what ways do men want to feel special? Sexually. Not have her lose attraction when bf shows vulnerability. > how does it correlate to misogyny? The whole "you are not entitled to anything" mindset. The vast majority of modern relationships start with casual sex. Once the woman decided to "give" sex, it's 100% the man's call to commit or not. Not really. Women put men into boxes, somebody is a casual option and one is a serious option. The serious option is almost always less good looking than the casual option, and gets treated worse.
/r/PurplePillDebate28/07/22 03:43 PM
1

In your perspective, when is an average dude not betabuxxing ? When the guy doesn't need to offer commitment to have sex with her. Exceptions are the rare cases where the woman has never once had a casual encounter in her life.

The wage gap. This is fucking controversial but one of the contributory factors to wage imbalance is not necessarily misogyny but the assumption many women have that they're not deserving of competitive wages. I feel it must be difficult to feel confident enough to demand adequate renumeration. There is no wage gap when you consider the same jobs and same level. Women just pick lesser paying professions and do part time work more often.

They have to concentrate on improving their relationship with other men. This is the part that I don't see ever changing. Any man that tries to form a support structure for men will be shamed by many other men and women too. Women just have no idea how much of a dog eat dog world men live in. Feminists don't care about the majority of men, just the minority that manage to get the jobs the feminists want. A guy that sits in a closed up dark room playing video games is not attractive Aka men should give up things they enjoy doing to go do things they don't enjoy in the slim hope that it attracts women. Also, "be yourself". Also, women are not a hivemind and find men with different interests attractive.
/r/PurplePillDebate12/07/22 11:33 PM

Hobbies don't matter to women, unless accompanied by fame or social status of some sort. A musician playing in front of a 100 people is attractive, a musician who only likes to practice and jam with his buddies might actually be a negative.

It's not where the majority of people are finding success, though. It was 40% last I checked, and now it might be the majority. And it's especially not the best place to find out what a person is actually like in their daily lives. Nobody wants to use dating sites where you find out more about people. I used OKC, where I would only send personalized messages (based on something in their profile) to women who had answered a lot of questions and there was a very high % match (97-98%). I also fil…

I don't want women lowering their standards for anyone, last thing I want is to be settled for. The difference between men and women is, men have a lower threshold for attraction and they go head over heels for average women too. Seen many men totally in love with chubby women. Those women are not Nonmonogamous, they are just hoping that Chad dumps the other girls and becomes exclusive with them. They don't like his fucking around, but they put up with it for a while, hoping he'll change.

Cool, don't be surprised at men becoming more toxic, after seeing what works on women and what doesn't.
/r/PurplePillDebate04/06/22 12:24 PM
2

It completely does. CEOs politicians have far higher rates of narcissism and sociopathy. I have know only a few really abusive toxic guys and they never have a problem attracting women. They make more money, have more sex, are treated better by everyone. It's a good life if you can learn to be as toxic as them, which takes a lot of practice for people who innately have empathy.
/r/PurplePillDebate04/06/22 12:23 PM

It's not like refusing to have sex with them would make them any better, and it's not like anyone particularly cares about the personal views of a hookup. Hahahahahahhaha oh my lawd did you win the olympic gold in mental gymnastics?

There was a reddit thread by a woman about her tinder usage. She was below average looking, living in some nordic country, and swiping EXTREMELY selectively. She said she only swiped on guys she felt a spark with. Turns out, in a country full of tall white handsome dudes, she was only swiping on hardcore 10s. So, sometimes spark = looks. Other times, spark = a guy who is incredibly extroverted, talkative, always the center of attention wherever he goes. Those guys have a "spark" with even introv…

Attraction is king. Become hot or die trying. Niceness is literally a nice to have. A hot douchebag will ALWAYS have a better dating life than a good normal guy. If you are hot AND a reckless bad boy, you will find women who will go to the ends of the earth to help you. If you break up, they will forever pine for you. These men have the strongest hold on women. Their exes never get over them.

Yes, women do. There was a thread on PPD wherein a guy said he doesn't do casual hookups and would like to find a woman who also doesn't. Every woman on PPD said that it will be impossible for him to find someone who doesn't hookup, and that there's too many great guys out there for women to not engage in it.

Those gains have mostly plateaued for men, due to other issues cropping up. Women on the other hand have every goddamn advantage now. More women getting into college than men, easier jobs, privileged treatment and support everywhere. A woman would have to actively make efforts to ruin her life in the western world. Everything is handed to them on a platter. The barest of effort will get them incredibly far.

Women have unlimited options if they want a casual fling, One night stand or a regular fuckbuddy. I don't want to hear anything about how "women don't really want those things.". The prevalence of casual sex says otherwise. For the FEW women who have always had a "boyfriend only" strategy, yes they have to go for their match and work hard at finding the right person. But that's just the experience of the average man too, so it is what it is.

Men seem to not want any friendships. Idk why, but it seems to be what it is. This is one of the few points I agree with women on, men have 0 interest in supporting each other, and dump everything on their wives.
/r/PurplePillDebate13/05/22 02:35 PM
2

Friendships are not unnecessary. You need someone to talk to other than your partner. All real world evidence seems to contradict this. Every single one of my married friends have almost permanently stopped talking to each other. And I'm talking about 10 year plus friendships. All thrown aside the second they got married.
/r/PurplePillDebate13/05/22 10:24 AM

It's hard to see those tables. Do they have the information of how many members of each gender have had 1,2,3.... casual partners?

/r/PurplePillDebate12/05/22 09:45 PM

Ask women. They seem to care a LOT. A man having seen an escort even ONCE in the past is a massive problem for them for some reason.
/r/PurplePillDebate12/05/22 09:32 PM

I can't even imagine her baggage. This is really really extreme.

/r/PurplePillDebate12/05/22 09:09 PM

For women, casual sex is always available, so their percentages are meaningless. Chad gets to fuck her no strings attached. Random guy wines and dines her before anything happens. It's easy to see who's the sucker here.
/r/PurplePillDebate12/05/22 09:07 PM
1

Ofc you do. Didn't expect anything else from you.
/r/PurplePillDebate12/05/22 09:04 PM

Cuz nobody wants to play second fiddle to some chad who fucked her in the club bathroom.
/r/PurplePillDebate12/05/22 08:36 PM

/r/PurplePillDebate12/05/22 08:17 PM

What part of that was unclear? If n counts are inconsequential, go marry a whore. You people rave on and on about how high n count women are so great, go marry one with triple digits.
/r/PurplePillDebate12/05/22 08:12 PM
1

Easy to not care when you have access to unlimited sex at the drop of a hat. Next you'll tell me millionaires don't think money is that important.
/r/PurplePillDebate12/05/22 08:07 PM
1

All the other relationship stuff is much less important What other stuff?
/r/PurplePillDebate12/05/22 08:05 PM
4

80-20 applies to casual sex more than relationships.
/r/PurplePillDebate12/05/22 08:04 PM
1

Yeah? Go marry an escort. Put your money where your mouth is.
/r/PurplePillDebate12/05/22 08:02 PM

/r/PurplePillDebate12/05/22 07:59 PM

So any lie is forgiven once years have passed? I could lie about seeing hundreds of escorts, and once we are married, she should let it go because "what harm could it do?"
