You're clutching straws man. The guy is right. Most short-term PUA philosophies and "red-pill thinking" don't stand long term. There is no easy way to get around developing yourself into a man with value to stand on in confidence and make educated judgements.

I guess what I'm saying is I mistook the principles. MGTOW must have gone a different way if saying some women are okay is heresy. There are women i meet who are awful, I just leave immediately. An online date told me the reason she didn't get into vet school was oppression. I left. IDK why I can't complain about the same shit but for some reason saying some women do alright is blasphemy. Wasnt expecting a pat on the back, was expecting, as the subreddit guidelines indicate, reasonable debate. W…

Woman going her own way just means she isn't tied to any identity, is a free thinker, takes personal responsibility, and doesn't align her problems with some concept like "the patriarchy" (similar to what some do here). We should feel angry that there is a skewed balance and we lose half our shit because women work the system that is so against men. But the assertion all women carry this quality is childish, illogical, and at odds with statistics. All women? 100%? It's just improbable. Many in t…

This thread is quickly showing me perhaps MGTOW isn't the absolute value-building community I was hoping for and many (not all) are just here to whine. How the fuck can anyone say all women are like that? Statistically it just doesn't make sense. I would argue many are like that, and even further, most are like that. But I've met some fantastic women who are legitimately going their own way. Normally it's because their dad died or something fucked up, but they are out there. There just aren't ma…

When you go into a social situation, if you are acting as you would around your best friend who you are comfortable with, you are being vulnerable. In a lot of situations, many of us tend to act like who we think people want us to act like. Dates that come from an online dating service are an excellent example. Sometimes I go on dates where the other person is so very obviously trying hard to make it known that they are hard-working simply because it is a quality that I list is an imperative. I …

It takes time. Just go your own way, solve things for yourself, stop overlooking qualities you don't like, don't get stuck in ruts people on this subreddit vividly describe, and use conviction. Eventually you'll find a woman going her own way instead of one expecting entitlement with nothing to offer.

Hahaha, yeah, that is an accurate comparison. Seduction/Karate is still important, but there is generally not an easy way out of being fat/developing value.

Seduction seems to be the byproduct of the confident conviction that comes from being at peace with who and where you are. Ironically, I tend to post and look here when the peace is broken and I can't laugh about myself, yet find it moot when the opposite is true. Exploring /r/hownottogiveafuck, Models, and Waking Up has honestly done more for me in terms of building yourself as a person andseduction outlook than /r/Seduction or "The Game" type books.

Yeah, an overlooked point is that being able to laugh about this is honestly outside of seduction. It's a personal thing where you are comfortable with yourself or you endure enough pain to feel these interactions are trivial. That's why dudes are always saying "how come girls are into me only when I have a gf?" It's because you don't care

Yeah, I'm with you on it perhaps being true. My issue is that only a statement has been made. There hasn't been any evidence or argument laid out inside or outside a court. It is the default, knee-jerk reaction that is frightening. It begs the question, if a female with malicious intent wanted to lie, what's to stop her from ruining your career?

"At the end of the day, I have a choice. I believe him, and run the risk of being wrong, or I believe her and run the risk of being wrong. I would far rather believe her and I will stand by that decision." So we are practically back to the witch trials, just with your career and reputation. To clarify, the issue isn't whether or not he did it. He very well may have, and Stoya may be justified. The issue is if a female with malicious intent wanted to lie, what's to stop her from ruining your care…

I would wait a bit. Set aside some time, go some place you can be at peace, and really meditate on it. Don't close your eyes and think about how sage you look, but really focus on what you are feeling. A good piece of advice I heard was to try and summarize your feelings with a sentence, and if your brain reacts the same way it reacts when it remembers that actor you couldn't remember the name of, you have a winner. Rinse and repeat that produce/test cycle a few times until you are satisfied. It…

Great tip on letting people talk about themselves. In a sense, you've pulled my head out of my ass, because I thought I had to be some sort of dancing clown. I am an active listener at work, but for some reason I think that success wouldn't apply to dating Also, great idea with the gradually increasing eye contact. Seems a lot smoother than my Con-Air landings *Edit: also +1ing demand for a Tinder guide. It is a different dynamic than OKC

The issue is that there is no easy way out and many of the people left in this sect don't want to swallow that. If you find out what it takes to be seductive, it means you found out you need to make your own identity and achieve depth. Achieving depth means branching to your interests and reading on specific topics like not giving a fuck, fashion advice, and your hobbies. This is why I always suggest Mark Manson's Models. Become your own man. The pick-up lines are not useful if you can't come up…

I highly suggest reading Models if you have not already. It certainly doesn't answer everything, but it's a great book I think every man should read at least once

Well I just moved here from NJ. I'm finding the culture quite different. Connecting with people is a bit harder. Maybe I am hitting up only the artsy spots, but I am not having much success with that crowd

Keep the momentum rolling. Time, place, command to meet you there. She is filling in all the blanks with everything you want. Make the assertive alpha male be a reality to her.

Than make it clear that you don't. Then, maybe slide in that her sleeping with your friend ended any future in that realm

Seems cut and dry. You have ended it. And it was all fun. If anything, this would make you even with Susie, since susie slept with your friend. Not in a vengeful way, but in a way that it is already clear there is no exclusivity amongst you two

I too, had, and still, to some degree, have the same problem. As an engineer who was born in New Jersey, it's a pretty tough hump to overcome. A few things: Do make it an objective to speak slower. There was a great post about reading aloud with a pen in the side of your mouth. This forces you to use your tongue to a more strenuous extent and is essentially a work out. So speak slowly when what you are saying is calculated. Especially if it is a pick-up. If I tell a grl I like her earings, befor…

Try bringing her to laser tag or a fair with rides/boardwalk. Your heart has to race if you are being thrown around/ running away from little kids

Also, a little side story of a funny time in highschool relating to "farts on dates". This wasn't a date, but in highschool, after class we would go to whomever's house didn't have parents at the time. We would convince a new group of girls roughly every 1-2 months to come hang out with us for potential fingerbanging and etc. During one rotation, a friend of mine named Alex was sitting on the couch. When one of the girls got there, she yelled his name (like a highschool girl) and went to jump on…
