A little pre-date hack that has been working well for me. What are some that work well for you?

Before going out I do a light workout and just set up a CD on my radio in my bathroom, so when I'm shaving, taking a shower, ... I hear some awesome music playing, the music basically gets me in a good mood before I even leave my place.

Interestingly enough, I clean my room. I get kinda frazzled during the week putting in long study/writing/research hours, so by thursday night its a bit of a sty if I haven't had a date that week. Cleaning it and putting it into some semblance of order and getting some booze out 1) helps me anticipate bringing a female back, putting me in a confident state to invite someone back and 2) gets me moving around a little bit. Seems insignificant, but its what I do.

Also, a little side story of a funny time in highschool relating to "farts on dates".

This wasn't a date, but in highschool, after class we would go to whomever's house didn't have parents at the time. We would convince a new group of girls roughly every 1-2 months to come hang out with us for potential fingerbanging and etc.

During one rotation, a friend of mine named Alex was sitting on the couch. When one of the girls got there, she yelled his name (like a highschool girl) and went to jump on his lap. When she landed, he farted in much of the same fashion that when you apply force to a whoopie cushion, an aggrivated noise comes out relative to how hard you smush it.

Lets just say he mitigated his chances to be romantically aligned with anyone there that day

That's brilliant! I had never thought of that even though I was once a long distance runner and know full well that running is nature's laxative. You could compound the effect by getting plenty of carminatives in your pre-date meal like parsley, cilantro, etc.

You get all your farts out before the date. Honestly, the scene in TED the movie that hit me the hardest was when the girl leaves the concert and the dude just lets a huge one go and mumbles finally. Having to fart is just uncomfortable, and this alleviates any of the anxiety that may kick open the door into your date. So let them all out beforehand, man! Oh yeah, and it is good for you and releases endorphins and all that good stuff.

I often lift at the end of the day. For what ever reason, I feel like the testosterone starts pumping through my veins like nitrous oxide. Afterwards, being fun, and feeling invincible seems easy. You do get pretty sore if you do squats and then start dancing later in the night.
