What is a small everyday action a man can take to reassert himself in world becoming increasingly dominated by feminism?

FA is just another response to those who see the nature of women as they are - users and self preserving. When the illusion is shattered, you can go two ways - TRP which is a good response, become self-focused yourself, or FA which seems to be just people who can't cope with it and turn to a different part. I personally have had a FA phase after I got completely used by a girl. I bounced back after a while and just didn't give a shit and had great success with girls. After my latest break up the…

I respectfully disagree and I'm just going to take a minute to explain why. Low-value activities are useful for some things. Firstly you can't do high value activities 100% of the time. If you do that, you go insane. I'm a scientist and if I tried to do my experiments all day long, and then came home to read some science journals, I'd burn out. The brain needs downtime otherwise you'll drive yourself insane - giving yourself a break by watching some TV or playing some videogames isn't going to h…

Yep let's agree to disagree and get out of this low value activity.

Well that's what Everything In Moderation preaches - do these things because they make you happy, but don't do them in excess. It's essentially taking a "discomfort" of not indulging yourselves in these simple pleasures, and deciding to do something positive instead. Keeping your hours of videogames down to 1 a day so you can spend more time on more important and useful activities.

Doing some low-value activities can be beneficial though. A takeaway pizza once a month, an evening long session of FIFA with mates, a day spent wrapped up in bed reading a book are activities that are low-value. However they are simple pleasures that make you happy. To me "Everything in moderation" is making activities like those scarce. It's about saying "Yeah I could spend all evening playing videogames, but instead I'll cook and study and only spend an hour on the game at the end of the even…

Disagree. It depends on your mindset of things and the way you look at things. Doing a high-value activity in excess is as harmful as doing a low-value activity in excess.

There is nothing wrong with "everything in moderation". It's just saying don't be indulgent and gorge yourself on harmful things. You can apply it to everything from alcohol to sex to study to fatty food to the internet to exercise: A bit of alcohol is fine once or twice a week. Getting pissed and chucking up in a sink every day isn't. Exercise is good - too much exercise and you risk ripping muscles and tearing ligaments. Having sex is healthy and fine. If you're living like a pig in a room ful…

Cheating on a girlfriend is a sign of immaturity and weakness in my opinion. If you're not satisfied with one girl, break up with her. If you have a girlfriend and don't bother breaking up with her before finding another then that's just weak because you're showing you are not comfortable being on your own. You might feel a bit of power in you as a young man being able to get with 2 girls at the same time, but it shows insecurity, immaturity and weakness in my opinion,

Check on /r/malehairadvice. Best option is usually to get an undercut - a 1 or 2mm on the sides fading to a 3 to 5mm and then your hair going into something medium length. I usually just use a salt water spray in the day to give some definition and texture, and use vo5 wax to style it when I go out and need to look better.

If you were in the UK I'd suggest looking into the civil service, but you're probably in the US. Basically just mass apply for graduate schemes, use your parents contacts to get some internships and experience in the mean time. Your family is rich and privileged. Use that to your advantage. If you get a "normal" job in an office or something, your degree gives you a strong base to be promoted into management as you will have a higher ceiling of education than the normal office grunts there. Civi…

Yeah we bring up way too much stuff from other subs about how great TRP is - we look for confirmation in basically unrelated stories saying how great RP is and how shit BP is. We should not be focusing on that, but on ourselves. At least link real world news story instead of possibly made up reddit posts with a huge poster bias.

Really good advice. Being able to spin plates and know when you should not spin plates is essential. Weird thing that happened was that I was getting most success when I was spinning. Early 2012 I was spinning about 3 girls at the same time - one would get overly jealous so I nexted her, the other met up with me but with a friend present, so she got nexted. Third girl was everything I wanted so we kept going and started LTR. Throughout our LTR, for the first year at least, I kept spinning plates…

It'll be tough but will require RP to seep into and integrate public and popular culture. Right now it's toxic just to be a man. It will require stealth and cunning.

This is why I stick to the normal subs like sports ones.

I did a Twitter meetup once when I was younger. It was about 100 teenagers from 15-20 years old meeting up in London and hanging out in a park. Even though most of the people there were attractive , it was still awkward as fuck.

This shit annoys me so much, how beta can you get. Why are people buying into the shit that women are oppressed. One of the comments: My stance: I'm not a feminist because I'm not worthy. I agree with and support every key concept of the feminist movement but I'm a white bloke. To call me a feminist would be an insult to the marvellous women who do so much for this cause. Jesus christ people.

This is so true. I didn't know about TRP in my last LTR. In the beginning I was distant, aloof, a bit of a dick. She loved it and was absolutely desperate for me. Sometimes I'd be busy, or just not want to see her, so I'd say sorry I can't see you today, and I didn't see her. Replies were short and swift and everything was fun and exciting and I had her eating out the palm of my hand. I wasn't meeting her needs, I was leaving her wanting more, I was living life conveniently for me and she was lo…

All I see coming out of this is the every day, uneducated white person becoming marginalised, angry and disillusioned, which really in the long term could (and is in Europe right now) leading to the rise of far right political parties promising these groups a return to the status quo. Which is a bad thing in my opinion, as a left wing person seeing fellow left wingers being such fucking bigoted idiots is annoying.

This is absolutely awful. Male feminists don't understand that consent can actually be non-verbal and is more about body language and tone of voice that what's actually said. Who the fuck asks a girl to kiss before going in for the kiss? And how many of us here have been with a girl who's telling you not to fuck her but is actually begging for it with her eyes, tone of voice and body. "Baby no hehe"

This white guilt and blaming white people for every ill in the world is pathetic. Not only are white people a culturally diverse group instead of this homogeneous mass of evil oppressors (tell me an American white person is the same as a Spanish white person, or a Polish white person), but we are not responsible for the crimes of some racist shitbags half a world away, nor are we responsible for the actions of our government or our ancestors at all. Seeing some of my friends become these awful S…

Dunno, I'm fairly left leaning but totally against modern feminism and the political correctness sweeping the world right now. But not in a social left wing kind of way, but in a way that the helpless people of society shouldn't be let out to try and should be given support. I think there's a lot of left wing RPers even though most of the community is right-leaning. But most male feminists are super left leaning, sickeningly so.

Same reason you'd want to be friends with a man. You enjoy mutually enjoy each others company and what each other has to say and share common interests and activities.

The thing nowadays with job applications is that companies recruiting through agencies often don't include any information about the company you're applying for. This makes writing a non-generic cover letter even worse, and makes it impossible to call up and talk to someone. But either way for speculative applications it sounds like something I'll look into.

Yep, really good advice. With my last ex I found out I was blowing off plans with my housemates to go out, watch football, play PS3, stuff like that to spend time with her. However she'd never cancel going out with her friends for me and I'd just get left on my own on many a Friday night which would be pretty damn shitty.

This is eerily uncanny for me. I'm recently out of a 2 year relationship and went back and compared early texts from where she was crazy over me to later texts from when the relationship was basically dying. Early texts were me basically acting like a smug cocky dick. They were one sentence texts. I'd take ages to replace, and often they'd just be straight up flirty or extremely direct sexting. In the early days of us seeing each other, I'd talk with (but not flirt with) other girls, wouldn't se…
