Last Resort.....moving back in with my folks.I wouldn’t move out and suck it up. It will hurt your case down the line and you’ll have no protection if she goes back on her word about custody. Leaving the house will give the impression that she’s the primary caregiver and the upper hand when the court looks at who they’re in the best interest to be with. | /r/Divorce_Men | 18/04/20 11:59 PM
50/50 physical custodyWorks well for me. I got primary physical custody. Ask your lawyer for tie-breaking authority for your kids “education” and “health care” matters. These are the most important areas to the court and dictate where the kids live primarily. With tie breaking authority, you get to make the decisions on where they go to school and on health matters, IF you and your ex can’t agree on them. | /r/Divorce_Men | 18/04/20 11:56 PM

My brother's wife took their child across state lines and is moving their with their child.IF full custody doesn’t work out, which in many cases aren’t likely with a fully capable mother, ask your lawyer to seek joint physical custody, with “tie-breaking authority” over Education. Tie breaking authority gives both parent custody but in areas where you don’t agree like where your child is educated - you get to break the tie. Not all states have it, but if yours does, ask your lawyer about it. | /r/Divorce_Men | 18/04/20 10:20 PM
Got served this morningLike many have said, don’t move out. Start looking for a lawyer. And I’d suggest you identify everything in the house that are “must haves” that you don’t want to lose and covertly move them to somewhere that she doesn’t have access to (storage facility, etc). I had A LOT of things that I loved destroyed or “removed” by my ex that I never got back. Hide them now but document what you’ve moved when you get representation | /r/Divorce_Men | 18/04/20 04:21 PM

How to leave wife?I woke up one morning and my first thought was that I couldn’t do this anymore. I immediately walked into the kitchen, told her I was done, washed up and went to work. On the flip side, I secretly pushed her into filing first (several months later) to save money and prepare for my divorce case. Worked really well. | /r/Divorce_Men | 18/04/20 04:09 PM

Responsibility in Counseling.Same thing happened to me. She went to “check the box” and say she “did all she could do to save our marriage”. Had zero intentions on listening to how wrong she was. | /r/Divorce_Men | 18/04/20 03:46 PM

Attorneys and asset divisionHey, Been there. You'll definitely have to sell unless one of you want the house. However, whoever sells it will probably owe the other half of the equity earned from the sale. And yes, she can drag her feet and will most likely have to approve whatever offer you want to accept. Regarding the horses, you ABSOLUTELY can go after them. In fact, you can ask for "the value" of anything that you both purchased together. If I were you, I'd make a list of all your shared assets (especially the ones of … | /r/Divorce_Men | 27/12/18 12:48 PM
I want the apartmentHey, I'd negotiate on the fact that she can't afford it. I'd definitely take your crew's advice and secretly (or gently) remove all of your things (especially your must-have and like to have items). Just make sure you document everything you've moved and give that information to your lawyer, so he or she knows. My understanding is that alimony is typically for housewives with NO income. If she works, then I'd make a listing of all of her income sources to build up a case that she has enough PLUS… | /r/Divorce_Men | 27/12/18 12:39 PM
Not sure if ex-MIL won't let go or is just trying to be spiteful.Agreed. I'd completely disappear from social media until it all is final and blows over. It's like torturing yourself. Surround yourself with family and friends if you can. | /r/Divorce_Men | 27/12/18 12:30 PM
Cheating spouse retaliating because I'm pushing forward with divorceHey, I've been there and I'd assume that everything she does is the mess with you or with ill intentions. Hopefully some of her actions aren't, but you should always be prepared. I'd also start taking inventory of everything you have (that you'll potentially have to split up) and secretly and "gently" start removing the things that you love the most. A LOT of things you love may start disappearing. If you have things that you don't want that to happen to, remove them to somewhere secure (storage… | /r/Divorce_Men | 27/12/18 12:27 PM

I’m unfamiliar with the rules outside of the US and would love to learn more. Would u be open to sharing with me, so I can learn more? My goal is to help as many men as possible. I’m going to message u, so hopefully we can connect soon. | /r/MensRights | 26/12/18 08:59 PM |
This guy won custody in family court and wrote a $5 book about how! A MUST READHey, Atton_Risk, Agreed! I wrote the book we’re talking about and wish you’d told me that before I got married and had two kids! I wrote the book with that in mind. Its written like cliff notes for guys going through divorces or thinking about it. Happy holidays. | /r/MGTOW | 25/12/18 02:42 AM
This guy won custody in family court and wrote a $5 book about how! A MUST READHey underrated_kawasaki, I’d debate that’s the only way to win but respect your opinion. This book is for those of us who got screwed and had to still make a way. Some of us have to rise from adversity to find our way. Happy holidays! | /r/MGTOW | 25/12/18 02:26 AM
This guy won custody in family court and wrote a $5 book about how! A MUST READYeah, I wrote the book referenced in this post. Yeah. Brendan’s awesome and I love his story. A lot of what he had to do is referenced in my book as well. Thanks for you input and happy holidays. | /r/MGTOW | 25/12/18 02:22 AM
This guy won custody in family court and wrote a $5 book about how! A MUST READThanks! Dude, I’d give the book away for other guys to not go through what I did. That’s not exactly how it works though. So, I put it out there as low as I could. | /r/MGTOW | 25/12/18 02:21 AM
This guy won custody in family court and wrote a $5 book about how! A MUST READHey, I agree again. Yes you can search the Internet endlessly to find some of what I wrote, but who has time for that. I, in 80 pages lays it all out for you and give you first hand tips on how I won. I would have paid $.30 to avoid my marriage too, but I didn’t. This book is how I successfully dug out of it and smacked out on my ex. It’s everything that I wish another guy told me before I went through it. | /r/MGTOW | 25/12/18 02:14 AM

This guy won custody in family court and wrote a $5 book about how! A MUST READHey MuaadDib, Happy holidays. I wrote the book and wasn’t as smart as you. I had to learn the hard way after I’d had two kids and lost 10 years married to the wrong person. Respectfully, this book is for guys like me that find themselves in my kind of situation and not as lucky as you. I wrote the book to help guys to prepare and transition to the life you freely live. | /r/MGTOW | 25/12/18 02:03 AM
This guy won custody in family court and wrote a $5 book about how! A MUST READHey Tramese, I'm the author and completely respect MGTOW viewpoints but just want to let you know that sometimes life doesn't allow you to wisely avoid it. Some of us fall into those situations before wising up. This guide is guys who haven't found their way yet and want a leg up in the process. That's all. I appreciate your input and hope you have a happy holiday season. | /r/MensRights | 25/12/18 01:17 AM
This guy won custody in family court and wrote a $5 book about how! A MUST READHey PracticalTiger, I'm the author and agree with you completely. Every case is VERY different. What I include in the book is the baseline things that every guy will need to do to prepare. There's things in divorce that I learned that EVERY GUY will have to do. Most of it is unknown unless you've been through a divorce. I didn't write it to specialize in each person's personal situations, because as you wisely stated - it's gonna be different. What I did include is the things that'll help guys b… | /r/MensRights | 25/12/18 01:14 AM

To all my guys in the struggle, I'm living proof that we all can come out on top.Dday_throwaway, thanks and I appreciate your opinions. I believe we make a lot of the same points, with the exception of when to get involved and to what degree. No divorce is the same and I used dating a little (not seriously) to clear my head and change my mindset as I worked through my divorce to a woman, to whom we both agreed was over. And yes, winning custody of my kids WAS winning for me and it came along with other successes as well. Both my kids now live happily with me, as deemed best … | /r/Divorce_Men | 23/12/18 04:06 PM
MENy Calculations: Win Divorce & Custody Before You Even Step Into Court (free book on Amazon until Friday)Oh I forgot to mention how to do that. If you go to the book - go down to Customer Reviews - Write a Review. They always trick people with that message when in actuality, you can review books that you haven’t even read. | 1 | EwwStart small and look for pockets of happiness. Going through it clouds everything you have going on. I call it mental plaque. Focus on remembering the things you still enjoy no matter how small or trivial they might seem. Try to do them as much as possible and build from there. The growth happens when you stack those small bits of happiness together. That’s how I did it. Hit me up if you want to bounce around some ideas. JAM | /r/Divorce_Men | 01/12/18 12:03 AM
STBX only cares about being the fun parent. This actually is a good thing. Buy some CustodyXChange software and track every single second you spend with your kids. Secretly build a case and gather as much evidence as possible and encourage her to continue. Use things like her social media posts to support her partying ways. Do it all in secret, DO NOT MOVE OUT and keep gathering evidence until the trial. I was in this SAME situation and am here to help. Hit me up privately if you want. | 1 | Totally Done with trying to go to my home with STBX still living thereGotcha. I’m definitely no lawyer, but just went through a similar situation with my X. You may have done this already but I’d I’d make a list of your “must have” things and “carefully move them from the house (just for now to a storage facility). All of a sudden I started noticing the things I love “disappear” and when I got to court they were like, “oh well” you can’t prove it. Don’t wait for the court to “award you” your favorite things. Not saying that your X will do it too, but mine did out … | /r/Divorce_Men | 11/11/18 12:24 PM
Totally Done with trying to go to my home with STBX still living thereHey, Why'd you leave? I take it that you don't want the house? Do you have kids together? If you have kids, you may want to rethink the leaving the house deal. | /r/Divorce_Men | 10/11/18 10:03 PM

Better Beta Divorce StrategyWow. Amazing post and spot on. I'm definitely no lawyer, but I mopped the floor with my X by doing a lot of what you said. I divorced her, knowing the crazy would get worse. A chance of being happy again sounded better than guaranteed misery with her. It's all a ridiculously crazy balancing act - clearing your mind, focusing on the kids, waging a slow, very strategic battle, tracking time, etc. Adding to all your great points; thinking back, ANY GUY can win in divorce court. I didn't buy into th… | /r/MarriedRedPill | 09/11/18 08:33 PM
