35 Well there's your problem. She's dying to lock down a provider before it's too late. Not much you can do other than have some backup plates ready for when she gives you an ultimatum.

I saw one TED talk where Ken Robinson explaining how schools stifle creativity. It was fortunately free of any anti-male rhetoric, and touches on the phenomenon of drugging students into submission under the guise of ADHD. But yeah, lots of "progressive" hive mind there. There's a few gems to be found among the trash.

I agree that biologically, mental states that prevent the passing on our genes is a mental illness or defect. However, as long as it doesn't affect anyone but you and the people you put your dick into, I don't really care. When the LGBT community starts trying to push its views and made up words on normal people is where I draw the line.

Cosmopolitan has an article on the Snapchat propaganda feed of a journalist basically whining about regression and how the hatred of straight white males caused this. No mention of political policies, immigration, economic, nada. Just a pity party.

Victim mentality can be applied to anything. It's a mentality, a frame of it's own. Just as you can apply a good frame to everything, you can also apply a bad frame to everything. Using ADD or Anxiety as an excuse is victim mentality. Whether it's real or a self-diagnosis, it's the mindset you view it with. Missing a limb can be victim mentality if you use it as an excuse, but it doesn't stop Paralympians from sprinting and swimming their asses off.

You don't do eyebrow raises when you squat? What a chump. Jokes aside, I didn't change my mind, or mean to imply it. I agree that there's nothing wrong with working isolation exercises away from an injury.

For sure, if I'm injured enough to go to a Physical Therapist I'm gonna do the rehab right. In my hypothetical situation I was thinking along the lines of a little tweak that would clear up in a few days to a week, not a full ACL tear or something.

I'm gonna take FeebleKnievel's side on this and say if my leg is injured, I'm gonna baby it so it will heal. I'd be wary of making the injury worse. It certainly won't stop me from working out the rest of my body. Hell maybe even pistol squats on the OK leg.
/r/TheRedPill04/11/16 03:31 PM

I agree that an injury is a legitimate reason to rest. Again, this post is about mindset. The difference between... I'm choosing to rest this injury, so that I can train hard next week. (taking control) and I can't work out today, because of my injury. (helpless victim) ...is the difference between the proactive and reactive mindset. For me, the proactive choice to work around a leg injury is to do strictly upper-body exercise, to keep the routine and to still get some form of exercise.
/r/TheRedPill04/11/16 02:42 PM

You're right, better to just sit on the couch and not work out at all.
/r/TheRedPill04/11/16 02:15 PM

If your leg is injured, you can still do bench press, pullups, or some variation of a row. Taking a break to allow an injury to heal is all well and good, but this post is more about the helpless mentality that some people have whenever the conditions aren't just perfect.

All of these men can outrun you, despite you having fully functional legs (I assume). You can do it, if you allow yourself to.

Depends on your mindset. If you use it as an excuse to rationalize and excuse your shortcomings, that's Victim Mentality. If you work 10 times as hard to overcome any shortcoming, you're a badass. Are you asking permission be a victim to Autism? Do you want an excuse to fail or do you want to succeed?

Addendum: Common Victim Mentality in BP ADD/ADHD Introversion Social Anxiety any other mental disorder that is commonly self-diagnosed (yet mysteriously untreated/unmanaged despite the huge affect on the victims life) Race Gender (mythical pay gap and glass ceiling) Common Victim Mentality in RP Height Race (Indian/Asian) Physical injuries or ailments preventing lifting Financial environment

Opinions: I think that the point of AWALT isn't the fact that all women are carbon copies of one another: that's just illogical. What AWALT means is that when you see one girl that you REALLY like and she's your unicorn, remember she's a woman just like any other. She's not a Disney princess. She's not infallible, perfect or immune to the ways of the world. She can be seduced by others and will get bored of you if you let her. Hahaha you're funny. I'll call you jackass if you prefer. It's pretty well known that women don't climb at the same level as men. That's why the community tracks men's and women's first ascents separately. Not every activity has to have a tribe dynamic for positive growth. Not every activity has to have an AMOG. Not every activity has to be fueled with masculinity and sexual prowess. Anyways, thanks for your opinion. You're missing out on a lot of yoga pants and fit girls though. It's a good phy…

I'm following NMMNG's guideline: if she did it on the second date would there be another? Long story short if she smoked more I would put a hard stop to it. I don't allow smoking inside my home and if I kissed her and she smelled like cigarettes it would be a huge turn-off. At this point it's not truly affecting me, and I think that's where a lot of the guilt is coming from. I feel good that I'm helping her be healthier, but I feel controlling since I convinced her to do it. I guess a lifetime of Nice Guy conditioning has taught me that having any form of input on a girl's actions is overbearing and abusive.

Women see Anger Phase quotes and posts and they feel that we all feel that way all of the time. What they don't realize is that the Anger Phase isn't that we hate women: it's that we hate that we were lied to about women. That's like when people tell atheists they are just "angry at God."

It seems that a lot of RP threads focus on sex, about how to obtain plates and maintain them. I would actually like to have a healthy LTR with a woman. Is that not realistic goal? Nothing wrong with LTR. The difference is LTR from a place of abundance and LTR due to beta traits. When you have plates, you're not emotionally attached to the outcome. You don't put up with shit from a woman because you have several others as a backup. You're in the LTR because you choose to be from several options. …

For me, taking TRP hasn't been a one-shot thing, but it's more like a Polaroid developing. Changes are slow and gradual as you internalize the philosophy and better yourself. The pussy comes off the pedestal, your confidence shoots through the roof, and anxiety disappears. Talking gets really easy from that position. Also hindsight is 20/20, it's normal to kick yourself for social faux-pas, you just learn from it and come back better next time.
/r/askTRP18/09/16 02:43 PM

You don't use the social and game aspects, you are the social and game aspects. When you lift and develop a strong frame, abundance mentality and DGAF develop naturally. Trying to use pickup and game without having a strong frame first comes across as artificial and forced.

That's because women don't want a fix, they just want to have and share emotions. If you fix the problem, they don't have emotions for it anymore. I've learned to stop trying to fix women's problems unless they specifically ask for help or a solution. Otherwise they're just emotionally venting and just want someone to listen or empathize.

Best way to make friends and get into a new social group is to join a club or activity of some sort. Changing from plan A to plan B isn't necessarily bad. Never having a plan is the problem. Dinner plans: I'll roll up and say, "Hey, we're going to 'X'!" Sometimes the LTR will say "How do you feel about 'Y'?" and it legitimately sounds better than where I was planning. "Hmm. Fuck baby, that does sound good. Let's go." It's stupid to go somewhere you don't want just because you're trying to 'be alpha.' That's just cutting off your nose to spite your face. If I don't like her idea I'll shoot it do…

One of the best things I learned about approach from TRP is that when a woman is cold or rude in response to your approach, she's really doing you a favor. She's letting you know instantly that she's not the kind of person you want to spend time with, invest effort in, or try to game. She was never going to sleep with you or be a positive part of your life and she just saved you flaked dates and text logistics. As /u/stickfiguresk said, don't shit where you eat. If you really like martial arts, don't mix it up with the girls there. If things go sour it will make it awkward and uncomfortable to do your thing. I was fooling around with a few girls from my class and after the breakups I always dreaded running into them. Action dates: Hiking, rock climbing, jogging/running, frisbee in the park, cooking something, fucking anything that gets you engaged and off the smartphone. As opposed to boring dates like coffee, movies, dinner or playing video games together. Those have their place but I can't stand sitting at home all day. I have a few guy friends from the gym. Our friendship doesn't extend very far past our mutual hobbies together, unfortunately.

I like having action dates and spontaneous fun. She will often not want to go, so I'll go alone and enjoy myself without her. I do need her for sex as it's currently a monogamous relationship. I'm undecided on the ethics of cheating at this time. I've quit porn and masturbation as part of my self improvement and I don't have any other outlets for sex.

Up until recently she handled the food budget while I handled everything else financially. A month or so ago I sat her down and told her I'm taking over the food budget because she's not handling it. So now I'm making the food spending decisions. Yes, SGM has been helpful when sex actually happens but my RP weakness is holding back any meaningful application.

Big difference in being "nice" and being kind. Your mindset here is a covert contract: "I'll hold the door for you but I expect to be thanked and appreciated." The predisposition against holding doors for women reeks of the Anger Phase. Hold the door open because you are a kind person, not because you want an emotional cookie.

Pleasuring her is good but make sure you take care of yourself too. Girls want you to feel good too, and they want you to use them for that purpose. Are you nervous? When cavemen were fucking but they were worried about a lion jumping out from the bush and killing them, the longer they were fucking the longer they were in danger. So they had two options: Finish quickly Get soft and quit Once you become more relaxed in bed, your stamina will increase. EDIT: And don't bother with those numbing condoms, they'll make you soft. Relying on drugs is a bad plan too because you'll form a dependency on them.

The healthy masturbation is designed to help you do two things. Be comfortable with your sexuality, as many Nice Guys have lots of shame and buildup around sex Quit porn use, which warps your sexuality The sexual moratorium helps with: Remove the pussy from a pedestal If in a LTR, reduces resentment towards a wife that is withholding sex, because it is no longer her decision not to have it. Generally when we run into each other at the rock climbing gym I go to. I have a bad habit of puppy-following a girl I'm talking to, so I tend to let her approach me after the initial greeting. I'll usually be climbing by myself but sometimes she'll strike up a conversation, or I'll ask if she needs a belayer and we'll trade out belays. There's no shortage of male attention, for sure.

It's probably downvoted because it's not about self-improvement, female relationships or sex. Long story short, the only person responsible for keeping his job is him. If he wants job security, he needs to be irreplaceable. Reading Art of War won't make that happen. Hard work and work ethic makes that happen. Edit: Also, no matter what, a man could lose his job to any number of hypothetical situations every day. Gotta have a backup plan, savings, etc. Abundance mentality isn't just for pussy.

Everyone has good answers for you, but here's my two cents: It's best if you can get girls. I refused to masturbate, instead I decided that was a woman's job and I got women to do it. If you can't get girls to do it, at least quit the porn. The porn fucks your brain up the worst.
