Whoa, thank you very much for this advice! However after reading your comment, I believe I have committed all of the mistakes you've mentioned. Considering I've been here for 4 months. I will be the first to admit that I have caused unnecessary problems out of a lack of self-awareness for the consequences of my actions/words. I've been looking too inwardly rather than outward and how I may affect others. I'll ensure to take on board your advice and hopefully things will become better. But I have…

Thank you for that. I appreciate your advice. But isn't flattering basically kissing ass? I try to be as genuine as possible but no one seems to like it lol They think my asking about for more information means I'm throwing them under the bus or shining the spolight on them. And so they become wary when talking to me about things. I don't do things out of spite. But it's as if they think I am.

Thanks for the advice. I will admit that adopting a way of silence is something I'm struggling with but continually improving on. I know I can sometimes speak with my foot in my mouth and can non-verbally come across as a dick. My other issue is having scarcity mentality regarding the job itself - it took me ages to get here and this is a job which is highly competitive. I'm grateful for it everyday and put my heart and soul into my work. And because of that I must admit that I can be stressed o…

Thanks for the advice. I really appreciate it. And I 100% agree with you on all the points. Frame control is also very important to me too. My department is filled with women, I'm only one of two or three guys. And so far I've received a bunch of shit-tests from the women pretty much ever since I'd started this company.

Lol I see what you mean. And that's exactly it, I'm refraining too. It's just that an opportunity has presented itself but it doesn't mean I need to always take it. I need to think ahead of the consequences, and I do feel they'll be severe and damaging for both of us (more for her as she also has a very high reputation in her company).

That's exactly what it is - I know it's wrong as it will somewhat jeopardize my career if I carried on. But I'm not going to take it further. How long did you both stay at that workplace for after you fucked her?

Cheers for the feedback lads, this is definitely a case of oneitis. The main reason why I feel this weird infatuation is because she's never been with anybody at all (including marriage, so most likely gone past the impending wall), and so she shows a high level of innocence/shyness that I've never witnessed in someone of her age. She's also highly introverted, is generally nervous and self-conscious, and because of this I'm finding it too easy to get into her head. This is such a strange dynami…

Yep, that's one thing I've realised - the gossip! One of the staff had already told me to be careful of certain people and told me what was going on in the team... it was only my first day at the job too!

Thanks for that. I tend to mess up at #1. In all of my previous workplaces I try to go out of my way to introduce myself to others to build comfort and familiarity in the workplace. And that's because I try to indicate I'm approachable as a colleague. I'll definitely take all of this on board. I'd read The 48 Laws of Power last year but not everything had sunk in. I'm now reading The Laws of Human Nature after also having read The Art of Seduction and The Rational Male. I guess I'll need to go b…

Thanks a lot for that. I think the shit tests will get to me the most. I'm still struggling with that part, but I figured that working in a team with a variety of different types of women will help strengthen me at the same time, especially in frame control, etc. I'll definitely take all of your advice on bored.

That's awesome, thanks for the help man. Just started reading The Rational Male. It's extremely eye-opening! I'm now looking forward to this process of change. One last question - how long does it normally take for one to get through the anxious/highly-reactive stage whilst unplugging?

Thanks for that. Does this also mean that I first need to focus on my purpose, 'recalibrate' my inner self and then the high quality women come in the meantime?

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
