Active monitoring of gender-based biases in society, and full and fair treatment to mitigate it, based on facts and research, not fantasies drawn from decades or centuries ago. One of the most disappointing things I found out in uni was when I did gender studies as part of a cultural studies subject: I found that it and feminism had a great set of tools for examining gender and the interactions and structures that a formed because of it... ...except that it was taboo for feminism to turn those tools inwards and look into itself.

I studied in a heavily female-dominated field, and, unlike say, Engineering or Physics, there were absolutely zero scholarships, programs, or systems to help men in my field in the same way there were for women in male-dominated fields. I even had a few lecturers tell me, once or twice, that if I was finding the subject difficult then perhaps I should change degrees to one of those male-dominated ones.
