Or girls with severe emotional problems (all of them got some of those, but for some it's life-defining).

Sounds like she felt her clock ticking away, and settled for a provider while she still could. That only means that she's faithful in an emotional way (doesn't want to lose him), not in a physical way (sex is still sex, no matter with what person).

No, for me personally, recovering alcoholics are a red flag for relationships only because they might fall back to drinking once they hit any snag in life, like a disagreement with their partner or a problem at work. I'm sorry for you, but the way I see it is that alcoholics at one point in the past hit some behavior they knew was unacceptable (like drinking heavy stuff alone at home), but didn't immediately try to fix it before it became a real problem, instead letting it slide so it became a l…

Nobody is disputing that she's telling you what she thinks is the truth. However, one of the basic concepts of TRP is that women don't know what they really want. Asking them leads to nothing of value, since they either lie to you intentionally or tell you something that might not be true in reality.

While there's truth in your statement, the important point is that you're not going to fix these mistakes with the current woman. You've got to not make the mistake in the first place with the next one. However, recognizing these mistakes is also important, that's true. That's all this subreddit is about after all.

I think you're right, but I still like the way it's done now. Living together with someone who despises you wholeheartedly, just because they have no option to leave, must be hell. I'd rather pay off my mistake of getting married than live in that hell for the rest of my life. (simply not getting married should be a no-brainer by now for everyone who's a regular here anyways)

OP's point is that she already knows she's behaving like an asshole. Telling her that doesn't change anything, except making you look weak and wasting your time.

this post is pretty uninformative about what to do when you want to treat bad behavior that is coming from someone who […] b) you cannot simply boot from your existence. That's pretty easy to infer, though: Fix whatever causes you to be chained to this person. If you don't have the option to walk away, you don't have the most important weapon at your disposal.

I'm not convinced that this is universal. Some women are genuinely ignorant that some of their behavior isn't optimal, due to solipsism. If a woman isn't genuinely aware of other people in the universe, they can't know that their behavior is wrong in relation to those other people. Even if this were true, why would you bother with such people? There are so many things where you can invest your time in a much better way than teaching somebody with psychological deficiencies how to be a better per…

I can co-exist in the way that I can be in the same room. However, I've learned to never talk to them, and if unavoidable, steer clear of any topic touching the feminist agenda (or just smile and nod, then move on). I've seen somebody else having a brief lapse of judgment in the way he worded things around a feminist (he called her “girl”), which promptly caused her to scream at him and kick him.

I'm 26 now, and in my generation (or at least how I was raised) we were always taught that sadness and crying isn't masculine. That's still true, but you don't have to be masculine to a friend. In fact, the best way to get a non-sexual relationship with a woman is to act in a non-masculine fashion around her. If you want to have a female friend, just cry in her presence, many respect that. However, don't ever expect to have sex with her afterwards.
/r/TheRedPill29/04/16 09:59 AM

For me, that's an instant red flag if it's framed in a non-neutral way. If it's a woman, I wouldn't answer but move to somewhere more interesting. If it's a man, change the subject and mark them in your head as not your friend.

Women make up 50% of the workforce - which means they HAVE JOBS, they just have different jobs. Women aren't oppressed - they choose different jobs based on interests - since interests lead to career decisions and prospective jobs they may actually LIKE TO DO. That's a strawman argument, because that's not the line of thinking of feminists. What they say is that women don't want to do STEM because they're treated like subhumans there. They would if they were treated equally. In my experience, th…

From my experience as social worker, if you don't know how to handle a wheelchair and its owner, it's better to leave them be. Not handling it correctly can lead to severe injuries. Depending on the wheelchair, it might also be hard to get them into a regular car because they're so big. One patient I handled back then even had a permit to drive on the road with his, had headlights and all.

It's a tough call from across the Internet since that's a very nuanced problem, but what I'd probably would do is to meet up with her and escalate like crazy. Do not looking like being needy, but use the full PUA program. If she goes along with it you're fine and should land in bed soon, if she blocks you you know she just wants you as an emotional sponge. Then you can break it up. Remember, knowing that something is bad for you is better than not knowing which way it is.
/r/askTRP24/02/16 11:30 PM

Generally yes, but women also thrive in external validation. You as a high value man having sex with her raises her self esteem, even without commitment.

You started out as alpha for her, but then quickly became a beta when you noticed her interest. This is a common mistake I have made as well, it's all too easy. Chatting for hours on the phone is what girls do with each other, she's treating you like one of her girlfriends now. Intellectually, she might even wonder why she's no longer physically attracted to you. I see that the “I really want to be in a relationship with you, but not right now”-sentence has already been said, has she told you al…

I think I chose a bad word there. I don't mean submissive in the way that she does whatever I say (my experience is that people usually do that anyways, as long as you are decisive), but in the way that she never opens her mouth unless talked to and has no original thought. Is there a better word for that? I don't like bossy people at all. Whenever somebody tries to tell me what to do, they better have a damn good reason for that.

Doesn't someone who advocates TRP pretty much resigned to paying for the date if seeking an LTR in order remain ideologically consistent? Usually TRP advocates plating the girl first to get to know her, so there is no first date where you would build her up for a LTR right away. Because TRP frequently says "don't date feminists", but the only large group of women splitting the bill (that I'm aware of) are ideologically consistent committed feminists? There are different levels of feminism. There…

I once went out to a night club with a group of people. Some of the women with us didn't even have money with them, because they never need any to get enough drinks for the whole night. They got into a bit of trouble when there was an entry fee to the venue, luckily a few BP'ers in line after us helped them out (definitely not me, and that was even before I found TRP).

People underestimate the burden of recurring payments. It looks great when I get a cellphone for free with an $80/month contract. A flat for $2k/month? No problem! A car that needs repair every other month for $3k? Absolutely necessary equipment! Letting my 1kW gaming PC run 24/7? How should I download my torrents without that! Going to a bar once a week for $200? This is how I roll! Now, where did the money go? I have no idea, I only spent it on absolutely necessary everyday stuff.

I know a girl (though gender doesn't matter there) who is like that. She's 25 and lives with her parents because she's unable to hold a job. Once she managed to get one as a clerk in a super market (what an honor!), but one week after starting she when into sick leave, because she had a slight tingle in her nose she just knew would turn into a cold soon — she told me as I met her at a night club. Telling guys that they have to improve themselves if they want to be able to fuck better looking chicks wouldn't even cross my mind. That's way too logical and common sense. There are two problems there: Society teaches that you just have to have luck to find the right person. No self-improvement needed. People shitting on fat, greasy, stinking nerds are just mean and ought to be ignored. Many people don't know what “better” even means, so they don't have a target. TRP describes an image of a pe…

I think you have a slight misunderstanding in TRP. It's not about representing the best version of yourself, it's about becoming the best version of yourself. There is not pretending required once you've made that transformation. So “be yourself” still applies, but “you” is just something different than when you started.

Women are under tremendous pressure to look a certain way, act a certain way, live a certain way. Have you not seen all the hullabaloo about being body positive and all that shit? Where do you think it comes from? They do this so they have a good standing with other women. Men don't care about most of this stuff. For example, fashion in clothes. The propaganda is what made the jury deliberate 90 minutes in this case. Some say that's fast but I say that's 60 minutes too long. You probably had a white knight in there or two, perhaps a fem-cunt or three that just had to 'voice their opinion'... I personally don't think that these women really want to get hurt, but they crave a dominant partner, and violence is a very effective way to express dominance. I have settled to just lifting women around like they're made of air. This also demonstrates physical dominance without hurting anyone.

You validated her by giving her that much attention over text. Fully agree, whatever happened to “use text only for making appointments”? For me, this all sounds like she's trying to distract from getting a date for the meetup. Tell her that you'll write again when she is less preoccupied and spare yourself the trouble of talking about stuff you don't care about.

On the other hand, him graduating together with these people reduces the value of his work. I've had that happen to one of my certificates. The only way not to pass I've experienced there is if you don't show up or directly lie to the teachers about your work (and they find out). I've heard from people in the industry that this certificate usually is a deterrent for hiring, because most people with it (not only of the female predisposition, mind you) are shit. Luckily, it's not my only one.

I'm much more confident, my situational awareness has raised, on parties I get called to defuse situations and as a bouncer when necessary. Women tell me that they're intimidated by my strength (in a good way). My movement is more gracious, and I no longer need to hold on in trains. This is also part of the way other people perceive you.

I grew up without a father figure as well, but my mother taught me some important lessons about how emotional and moody women are. That's a tough question. I usually just pass on the boring ones until I find one that can hold a conversation. Picking some random thing from the last sentence she said and rephrasing it as a question can lead to a very long discussion about all walks of life. In women land, being close doesn't necessarily mean that they like each other. They just deem it advantageous to be in that circle for mutual benefit, while possibly being really sick of the others on a personal level. That's how backstabbing happens when someone's presence is no longer beneficial to the woman. In a work setting, this is even more true, since having the right connections might make the difference between getting a promotion and staying at a low pay grade forever.

In my experience, the best bet are women in a LTR of 2-3 years. That's the point where many relationships get boring and a distraction just as yourself is very desired. This is probably the most BP thing I've read on this subreddit ever. Read up on abundance mentality and follow it religiously. Your problem is not finding out what to do (you already know it very well), your problem is that you let your short-term feelings make long-term decisions. You have to ignore and overcome those feelings, this is your personal inner conflict and not caused by any external complication. Being a man means that you have to follow reason instead of feelings.

In a TRP context martial arts help you smooth out your movements so you don't stumble around like a clown, even on moving platforms like escalators, boats, trains or when tripped. It also lets you get more fit in a more entertaining fashion than lifting.

In the black belt kata's we practised with rubber knifes. The thing about katas is that you know exactly how the other person (whether imaginary or real) will react. This is not true at all in street fights. Street fighting is all about awareness and reading people's behavior to be able to act before something bad happens to you, and then controlling the situation and avoiding a physical confrontation (because you never know what will happen in one). This is a skill not taught in any traditional…

Judo is [...] really useful if a situation were to occur when you have to defend yourself. Judo is absolutely worthless in a street fight. There are no rules out there, and if someone pulls a knife without you seeing it, going close quarters is the worst thing you can do. It's the best way to overconfidence that can get you killed.

Street self defense is a very good continuation when coming from MMA, and people don't punch each other in a violent fashion, because they learn to kill with punches, and actual killing isn't good for the host's bottom line. Options there are Krav Maga and Combatives. At least some trainers there also do stuff that's high intensity cardio (like punching a pad with full force for 5mins straight).

Improve yourself. Invest in yourself. You will be alone and it will be hard work and effort. No one is coming. No one will help you. In the same vein, why should I personally care whether some shmuck wants to kill himself? It's a hard world, if you can't handle it you don't belong here.

Judaism is more supportive of getting rich than Christianity. Many rich people in a certain mixed-religion country are thus also jewish. One populist sees his chance to make it big, takes this fact and turns it into a rampage against all members of this religion, elevating himself to the leader of the world in the course of the action.

okcupid is a very superficial community (like all dating platforms). If your photos don't make you look great, it's better to look for girls elsewhere. In personal confrontations, you can do things to overshadow your looks (demeanor, the way you're saying things, pacing, kino, social proof, etc). That's not possible on any web page. So, don't be surprised if this girl has no problems fucking a 6' guy picked up from a bar. On okcupid, she's lead to believe that she has options.

There are actually two marriages involved here, one of the state and one of the church. The Catholic Church does not allow divorce (except by very drastic measures I won't go into), while the state marriage can be divorced. As an idea, when you're trying to defuse the situation, tell your FWB to get her cellphone out and make a video. This solves two issues: It gets her out of the way, and you can prove that you didn't hit the offender (or that it was pure self defense when you do land a hit) to the prosecutor.

I wouldn't necessarily call a Martial arts club a male only environment, the club in my town (I don't go there myself but know a chick that does) have both women and men training there. The one I'm in usually has <10% female attendance, so it's as close to a male-only space as possible without forbidding women to enter. This is a pretty hard topic in my martial arts training, since you're supposed to hit the other person. Some people there made a habit of apologizing nearly every other time, and it's damn annoying. I settled to make a quick apology only if my hurtful action was way outside of the bounds. Longer apologies when the damage will take 2-3 days to heal up (luckily, I haven't had anything longer than that yet). In your case, these bounds should be the social bounds of that situation.

this was because you called her a cute kid. No, I think it was because of something that happened back then. Definitely not OP's problem.

BJJ has no end-game, they might lock someone down on the ground, but then don't know what to do any further. I've sparred with someone doing BJJ, and when I had him in lockdown, he just laid there and didn't move at all, waiting for me to switch my position. That's a death sentence on the street. Also, in Combatives, you always assume that the other person has a knife somewhere and the only reason that it wasn't drawn yet is that you've kept them too busy defending themselves. When you have a kn…

Even #2 would not be rape for me, as long as she consented to that treatment. There's a lot of weird shit happening in BDSM. Of course, being drunk alters your ability to act in your best long-term interest, but I personally believe that you're responsible for your own actions, even when you're drunk, as long as you're an adult. However, in the USA it's very difficult, because you're not allowed to get drunk before coming of age, so it's impossible to gain experience to know when you've had enou…

Yes, Krav Maga is very hit-and-miss, because there's no official certification for it. It's the same for Combatives, although the people teaching that tend to have practice (like police special forces and bouncers). I'm pretty surprised that there's no Krav Maga in your area. In mine, there are some clubs in towns half the size of yours. However, I didn't list these because they're common, but because they're the only ones I'm aware about that are effective (plus kickboxing). All east-asian ones…

Martial arts (primarily the more practical ones - boxing/kickboxing/judo/jiujitsu) Krav Maga, Combatives I wouldn't waste my time on judo, jujitsu or boxing, if all you want is usefulness in daily life. All of them have certain traditions or rules you don't want to have when you're attacked away from a mat/tatami. Kick a boxer in the nuts and he's down. A judoka will get a fist in his face before he's able to land the first throw. A jujitsuka will try to fixate you on the floor only to be taken …

There are gray areas as well. Well yeah, humans are involved. It's like the word "rape". It could mean someone was forcefully grabbed by 4 different parties and penetrated at night on some street, or it could mean "I drank 2 beers, I didn't say no, and I looked like I was enjoying it, but then I woke up and regretted it". That's not the right definition. Don't let feminists define your vocabulary!

I figure that's the only way these TRP-haters are coming to such strange conclusions about what this subreddit is about. There's no way they could have looked at anything here.

To be fair, our society also would cease to function. It's impossible to have a working social structure when everyone is an alpha. That's why I don't promote TRP, it would be detrimental to my personal goals.

Are you sure that they don't want to be treated like crap or abused? I've heard that some love being sex toys. I've heard that some like being treated like crap, verbatim from the horses mouth. There's a difference between voluntarily playing out sexual fantasies and actual abuse. That's why there are safe words in BDSM. Also don't confuse people standing with their abusive partners with happy people. They're not, they just feel trapped in a complicated situation (even when it doesn't appear to …

What do you care about? I hate having to be super careful with what words I choose to use. I've resigned to the fact that this is very important when talking with women, but a subreddit is a different matter.

RP and feminism operate in the same space, which is human interaction. There are bound to be some commonalities. One big difference is that RP just adds to your existing vocabulary, while feminism/political correctness tries to get rid of certain words. If you have to describe a concept like plate or hamster every single time you're talking about it, it gets tiring and just confuses the reader (since they might not notice that you're trying to talk about the same thing as another person). Also, …

While I agree with you on your particular example, having your own language is important. It's easier to think about a concept when you have a specific word for it. That's one of the mayor points of the book 1984. Why do you think that feminists try to redefine or outlaw certain words? Also, you get used to it after a while. Lately, I had to stop myself from using these words in everyday discussions with people I know that have never heard about RP.

His wife shows signs of BPD and major codependency That's a hint right there. You said that she's higher up in the attractiveness department, but a woman's worth is not measured by this alone, but by attractiveness divided by crazy. I guess her SMV really isn't as high as it appears to you from your vantage point.

I have new rules. she goes out, I go out. What about doing whatever you want and not making it dependent on her?

That's the point. The hotter one knows how it's supposed to be, so she tries to get your attention. After a bit of struggle, you grant her wish and concentrate on her.

A PUA book I once read says that you should go for the uglier girl in front of both, so the more beautiful one (and they always know that) gets jealous and does all the hard work for you.

At risk of sounding like victim-blaming Uh, you're in TRP here, not some feminist subreddit. Victim blaming is one of its key points, although usually it's called self-improvement.

Another example: I recently made a post asking for good questions to ask a girl on a first date to get to know her, and most of the responses boiled down to "asking questions is wrong and if you can't entertain a girl for hours without any input from her, you're not alpha enough and don't deserve a girl." Could have been a while ago, but there was a post here that said that blabbering on all of the time is pure BP, and you just stop and let the woman talk. Both can't be true at the same time.

But in an extreme crisis - death of a loved one, severe injury, PTSD etc - That's when having a wife is handy. There are examples posted here all of the time, where when the man has a life crisis (like the mother dying or cancer in the family), the wife goes fucking somebody else and files for a divorce (in that order). You're expecting loyalty in women, when RP teaches the exact opposite of that.

People are great at rationalizing their decisions, even though all of them are done on an emotional level. That's simply how the human brain works, there's nothing anybody can do about it. You can manage to manipulate women to act in a certain way, because their emotions tell them to act in this way. Afterwards, they will try to find a way to explain it using rational concepts and sometimes succeed. That doesn't mean that they're rational, only that they are more creative with their explanations…
/r/TheRedPill18/11/14 12:50 PM

That's not true. Women do that all of the time, and they fare very well with it, because nobody expects them to behave rationally (except in technical fields, where they then throw a hissy fit because nobody takes them seriously afterwards). In fact, they're so successful with it that they even tell men they're talking to to do it, too. That's a huge trap you must not fall for.

This attitude is exactly what OP explained is wrong. The only luxury a LTR/marriage will get you is that if you leave so you can burden the world with your feelings, she will still be there when you get back from that trip (if it hasn't taken too long).

is there any male animal in nature that benefits from weakness in the mating game There are some spiders and mantis where the male gets eaten by the female after mating, so the female has enough energy for generating those eggs. Never saw it as a role model, though.
/r/TheRedPill18/11/14 12:34 PM

My theory is that if there are good ones, they are in LTR from a pretty young age and loyal, and so you never ever get even close to them, and so they don't matter for anybody else. If these unicorns really exist, they are irrelevant.

That's my main gripe with this subreddit (not RP itself). Most people here always assume that every man here wants to fuck every woman out there. I have quite a few female acquaintances I can talk to frankly, because I don't want any sexual relationship with them. They might think of me as a BP, but why should I care? They still can provide good input on various topics, especially to learn how women in general thinks. They also learn quickly that they can be brutally honest, because they aren't …

If any bitch tries it with me (she won't), she gets instant broken jaw as self defence reaction. While you're technically in the right, you'd get into annoying trouble for that. It was a test, and all the guy would have had to do was to claim dominance instead of cowering like a beaten puppy. There are a lot of ways to do that that don't end up in the ER. I see this as her cry for getting that male puppy to behave like a man, and he obviously is a huge failure on that part. Crying for help inste…

The way I'm coping with that is to drink a lot of plain water. Even though it has zero calories and no sugar, it will fill your stomach temporarily, so you don't feel any hunger. I always have a bottle of water next to my desk (and nothing else), so instead of eating some junk food, I'm drinking a bit of water every now and then.

Some people cope with a stressful or boring life by eating, instead of trying to change. It's not that they don't know they are eating too much, it's that they "need" it to cope. As someone who has some issues with that, I can say that it's not as easy as it sounds. When I have a lot of stuff going on in your life and have no idea how to cope with the stress, I don't want to have to control myself on that front as well. I'd rather not have to think about keeping the intake low, and rather keep t…
