What are the characteristics of a theta male?

Are you a smegma male DBZ? Go give yourself a good wash.

Just learned about sigma, gamma and omega males today. What type of male are you my fellow PPDers?
/r/PurplePillDebate09/09/22 08:53 AM

I think I’m the only non anime obsessive on here. What’s the deal?
/r/PurplePillDebate08/09/22 09:41 AM

Never had this happen cause I’ve only had two LTRs and not any FWB situations or anything, but just want to say I absolutely saw this coming. You’ve been falling hard all summer. Such a shame it can’t work out my dude. Look after yourself. Think you’ll meet someone you click with as well again, but it won’t happen overnight. Lick your wounds then get back out there in a bit. Good luck!
/r/PurplePillDebate08/09/22 07:52 AM

100%. Old cock for you.

You have no empathy if you believe that because you’ve read some shit on two x that makes you feel bad, that rape victims deserve to read this sort of shit on here. Two wrongs and all that. The OPs point is gross and misogynistic and no amount of misandrist shit on TwoX makes this ok.
/r/PurplePillDebate07/09/22 10:52 AM
1

I didn’t mention anything about both sides so don’t know what you’re talking about man. My point is generalising that all women who’ve been raped would laugh at a soldier losing his genitals in a horrifying accident is not a point based in reality.
/r/PurplePillDebate07/09/22 10:39 AM

Thanks for writing this out. I was just too gobsmacked to even respond. The OPs argument is entirely based on his own emotion and has no basis in fact whatsoever. The fact that he can’t see that is astounding.

Well in his youth apparently paid for lots of abortions cause he was constantly knocking women up. According to him anyway.

Lots of things depending on how deep your relationship is. Attending things you’re at even when she has a paper she needs to write or work in the morning really early. Helping you with something like reading your college work for typos when she’s actually quite busy with her own shit or driving you to the airport in the early hours even when it’s completely out of her way and she might be late for something. Watching/reading something she isn’t really interested in because you’re really into it …

What different expectations in responsibilities are you referring to that you believe are reason for removing equal voting rights on the basis or sex or race?
/r/PurplePillDebate30/08/22 01:27 PM

Anyone with the opinion woman shouldn’t have equal voting rights to men is a misogynist in my opinion.

Correct me if I’m wrong (May differ from country to country to) but I think that’s only the case if you find out it’s yours, and stay and raise the kid anyway. If you leave when you find out You’re not the dad, I think it’s different. Could be wrong here.

One of the things I don’t get about the fear of paternity fraud thing is in the vast majority of countries you don’t need a mum’s permission to swab for DNA. Just do it quietly after changing it’s nappy (sorry, diaper for you yanks) pay the $100 and hey presto, you’re a dad. Or not. What’s the issue here? What am I not getting? P.s. I asked on this sub once how many actual fathers of children had done this. The answer was zero.

This was pretty common among gen X couples but is much less common now and you’re unlikely to hear the above scenario at all. You don’t seem to be in a couple though. You seem to live with your mom. So a lot of the stuff I’m saying won’t be applicable. Cause she’ll just make you do it anyway. You need to find a woman who enjoys housework. That actually gets some level of satisfaction from a clean house. Prides herself on it. You can’t do absolutely zero. It will breed resentment in every woman e…

As I’ve said. I only got it wrong once and I’m in a happy relationship now with a guy I initiated with over 8 years ago.

Touching my arm or leg while talking, laughing at my jokes, showing interest in what I’m saying, snatching glances of me when they think I can’t see, offering to buy me a drink. For the guys I met a few times before asking them out they might have “in jokes”with me, send me funny messages between meetings, frequently sit next to me at events we go to. Men don’t tend to make the effort to do these things if they not interested.

I’m not sure what you’re asking but I’ll try and clarify my position. I think a lot of people were overly sheltered in their youth and are tremendously naive if they have got to adulthood before finding out looks matter. That’s all.
/r/PurplePillDebate18/08/22 01:54 PM

I don’t understand your question. I’m not angry at men 🤨
/r/PurplePillDebate18/08/22 01:47 PM

Cause apparently some people grew up in a magical fairy land where looks didn’t matter and are surprised pikachu face when they finally realise it does.

I’m mostly fine with age gaps I just think in some cases they’re a bit icky and sometimes illegal. A 23 year old with a 43 year old is fine. But a 43 year old with an 18 year old is weird in my personal opinion cause I think teens are too young for that. I don’t think it should be illegal or anything. I’m just gonna side eye it if I see it. Emmanuel macrons wife groomed him. As did Sam taylor to Aaron johnson. Woody Allen and his step daughter is another example. Adults going after teens is gros…
/r/PurplePillDebate18/08/22 01:19 PM

The two are not related. I would be equally grossed out by a gay couple with a massive age gap. James Randi for example.
/r/PurplePillDebate18/08/22 01:12 PM
1

Yes. I’m pro gay rights. What has that got to do with age gaps?
/r/PurplePillDebate18/08/22 01:04 PM
2

I don’t think that thinking homosexual relationships are ok has anything to do with a double standard on age gap relationships. You’re not being very clear. Is English your second language?
/r/PurplePillDebate18/08/22 01:01 PM
2

No. What’s that got to do with anything though?
/r/PurplePillDebate18/08/22 12:58 PM

I am interested in PUA. Not from an actual “using it” perspective (I’m a taken woman), but just to read what type of advice PUAs are actually giving out cause I find it pretty fascinating. Does anyone have any recs?
/r/PurplePillDebate18/08/22 07:21 AM

I think this is decent advice.
/r/PurplePillDebate18/08/22 07:12 AM

Yup. Tbh. I’ve never met a blue piller who didn’t think this tbh.

Most of the men I’ve asked out have said yes. One said no. I wasn’t nervous. I thought I was getting IOIs in all the cases. I obviously misread one of those. What made me decide to do it? I like shy boys. They’re usually too shy to do the actual approaching.
/r/PurplePillDebate18/08/22 07:00 AM

Have you asked them out?
/r/PurplePillDebate18/08/22 06:55 AM

I think women that can’t cum don’t wank enough tbh.
/r/PurplePillDebate17/08/22 02:07 PM
5

That’s not the same as what I’m talking about tbh. Both men and women’s sex drives can change from the beginning to end of a relationship. But if they’re low libido before you marry them, then don’t be surprised when they remain low libido.
/r/PurplePillDebate17/08/22 01:54 PM

Guys that struggle to cum consistently should go to a doctor. Check it’s not something more serious. IMO.
/r/PurplePillDebate17/08/22 01:48 PM

Can’t find anything on it from a quick Google. I’d be interested to see what reasons they gave.

/r/PurplePillDebate13/08/22 07:50 AM

Yeah maybe something evolutionary. Maybe my cavewoman brain is like “this guy doesn’t like you enough so won’t stick around to care for your kids which means they’ll be taken off by hyenas or starve to death”.
/r/PurplePillDebate11/08/22 10:52 PM

What turned you Christian?

Well I assume so. You put it together haha
/r/PurplePillDebate11/08/22 10:46 PM

Nah. Read the God Delusion aged 19 and it got rid of any wavering feelings about a presence of a God.
/r/PurplePillDebate11/08/22 10:36 PM
1

Yeah. It is weird. Probably illogical. But that’s how it felt. Also I’m one women. As I said, plenty of girls love casual. It’s just not for me personally.
/r/PurplePillDebate11/08/22 10:35 PM

No.
/r/PurplePillDebate11/08/22 10:32 PM

I read a book on the history of the bible out of genuine interest while I was devout, and realised it was written by man and not god. So then I started to read about the gnostic gospels etc. just seemed to me the bible, and it’s points about Jesus were contradictory. And the gospels we have were picked entirely due to politics. After that I considered myself a believer in God but not a Christian. Then I read Dawkins, watched Hitchens etc. that got me the rest of the way to atheism.
/r/PurplePillDebate11/08/22 10:31 PM

He actually liked me for me and wasn’t just trying to fuck. I was more than a hole to him. Which in both my casual sex experiences, I didn’t feel. I felt used even though I’d consented if you get what I mean.
/r/PurplePillDebate11/08/22 10:28 PM
1

Yes. Once a week. I only go for funerals and weddings now. I stopped going aged 17 (in my 30s now) but I’d consider myself pretty devout until then.
/r/PurplePillDebate11/08/22 10:21 PM
2

Erm. I tried it twice cause after the first time I thought it was maybe just that guy I didn’t like. But after the second time I realised it was because we didn’t have a genuine connection. I couldn’t teach him how I like it (to be able to cum) which I’m able to do in an LTR and in the cold, hard light of the morning it just made me feel icky. Wouldn’t do it again if I was single.
/r/PurplePillDebate11/08/22 10:20 PM

Good list. Agree with lots here.

/r/PurplePillDebate11/08/22 03:59 PM
1

I was not expecting this detailed of a response 😂😂 thank you.
/r/PurplePillDebate11/08/22 03:45 PM
2

Purplish, do you find fat women need bigger dicks to feel satisfied. It was a comment made on My post numerous times yesterday.
/r/PurplePillDebate11/08/22 03:36 PM
2

Yeah. If sex is really high priority to you then obviously it wouldn’t work for you. I agree, life is short. We all gotta do what makes us happy whilst also treating our loved ones with respect.
/r/PurplePillDebate11/08/22 03:32 PM
3

It should go as long as you’re willing to accept. If this guy can’t handle 3 months of no sex, he needs to tel his partner as soon as he can so they can discuss options. My partner had pretty low sex drive for about 6 months there due to meds. I was fine waiting cause he’s great and I love him. But maybe if it had gotten to 2 or 3 years I would have felt differently. In which case, I’d tell him I need more attention and he can either step it up or we need to look at breaking up or me getting it …
/r/PurplePillDebate11/08/22 03:28 PM
3

If you think her having a night out means she’ll fuck someone else…leave her.
/r/PurplePillDebate11/08/22 03:23 PM
2

Nah. They know too much of my secrets
/r/PurplePillDebate11/08/22 03:22 PM
3

Naaaaah. Even if you’re having a rough patch sex wise, you tell your partner you need more attention before you go off and get it somewhere else.
/r/PurplePillDebate11/08/22 03:18 PM
2

This is my point too. I love being fingered. So how could a guys dick be too small?!
/r/PurplePillDebate11/08/22 07:58 AM
2

Depends how picky. If they man doesn’t eat a single vegetable I’m not keen

I’m a woman 😳
/r/PurplePillDebate10/08/22 09:00 PM

Literally every engineer I know, man or woman, is married. Weird.
/r/PurplePillDebate10/08/22 06:30 PM

100% agree with you here.
/r/PurplePillDebate10/08/22 06:01 PM

I didn’t specify women. Just a nice thing you’ve heard. I’m trying to give my loved ones more compliments where I can and I like to see what people find meaningful.
/r/PurplePillDebate10/08/22 05:58 PM
2

I don’t think this is widespread enough to make a huge difference tbh
/r/PurplePillDebate10/08/22 05:56 PM

Yeah. That’s a great one.
/r/PurplePillDebate10/08/22 05:55 PM

I’ll go with mines. I met up with a friend of mine and got to meet his new boyfriend. We were having a conversation and I said something (I can’t remember what it was) but it got a big laugh from the new bf and he turned round to my friend and said “you were right when you said I’d bloody love her”. It was like getting a compliment from two people simultaneously.
/r/PurplePillDebate10/08/22 05:53 PM

Workmates? Teachers? Friends?
/r/PurplePillDebate10/08/22 05:50 PM

I agree.
/r/PurplePillDebate10/08/22 05:44 PM

Awww Lift. Stories about your wife warm my soul.
/r/PurplePillDebate10/08/22 05:41 PM

Good on you for healthy boundaries.
/r/PurplePillDebate10/08/22 05:39 PM

What’s the best compliment you ever received. The one that made you feel happiest.
/r/PurplePillDebate10/08/22 05:38 PM

Who?
/r/PurplePillDebate10/08/22 05:37 PM

Yeah. This is what I thought tbh. So thank you for your response.

I don’t have a dick mate. But thanks for taking part.
/r/PurplePillDebate10/08/22 03:41 PM

Yeah. Agreed.
/r/PurplePillDebate10/08/22 02:46 PM
1

I’m asking everyone. I’m seeing most women here say they don’t care tbh.
/r/PurplePillDebate10/08/22 01:57 PM
1

Asking cause lots of men I talk to on here we’re telling me they were too small for casual when they were above average and I found it hard to believe.
/r/PurplePillDebate10/08/22 01:56 PM
1

I agree with you mate. But I’m having loads of guys tell me it’s an issue so what am I to say?
/r/PurplePillDebate10/08/22 01:52 PM

I was interested in true crime, that got me interested in incel terrorism, that lead me to here. The bat shit takes are what keep me here.

Q4M: thicc thighs or thigh gap?
/r/PurplePillDebate09/08/22 11:35 AM
2

I think my partner is the most gorgeous man in the world but even I have to admit it’s unlikely I’ve actually managed to snag the most gorgeous man to ever live. It’s a hold over from our ancestors. If you’re ancestors were the type to pair deeply, this was a benefit to your genetic line as it would give the offspring two parents which means a higher survival chance. The cocktail of happy hormones and attraction hormones you get from being with your partner were of evolutionary benefit to your D…
/r/PurplePillDebate09/08/22 10:55 AM
2

No need to apologise for preferences my dude.
/r/PurplePillDebate09/08/22 10:47 AM
2

Erm. Depends on if the individual woman thinks that’s cool or not. He’s doing better than a man who looks like him who isn’t playing guitar IMO. But I don’t think it would put you up a full point on the scale or anything. It would just nudge him up a little bit. I still consider him pretty average for his age. All things considered.
/r/PurplePillDebate09/08/22 10:46 AM
1

He’s probably average for a man in his late50s/60s tbh.
/r/PurplePillDebate09/08/22 10:42 AM
3

Q4M do you find abs on women attractive?
/r/PurplePillDebate09/08/22 10:35 AM
2

Hmm. That’s interesting.
/r/PurplePillDebate09/08/22 10:34 AM
1

Most people find that attractive though…no?
/r/PurplePillDebate09/08/22 10:33 AM
0

What’s something you absolutely love about your partner that you think most people wouldn’t find particularly attractive? I’ll go first. His fashion sense. He’s basically living in free t shirts from suppliers that he got at conferences and bargain bin shirts from TK Maxx. And I can’t get enough of it. I don’t find people who obsess over designer labels at all attractive.
/r/PurplePillDebate09/08/22 10:26 AM
2

Mate, you started messaging me. Not the other way around. I send my photos on here to people I trust. Not people clearly looking to doxx “uppity” women.
/r/PurplePillDebate09/08/22 08:54 AM
2

Tinder didn’t exist. Instagram wasn’t as popular. His abuse left my self esteem crippled.
/r/PurplePillDebate09/08/22 08:46 AM
3

That’s not how abuse works mate. Please read into it.
/r/PurplePillDebate09/08/22 08:40 AM
2

No he was in my league. He was just emotionally abusive.
/r/PurplePillDebate09/08/22 08:32 AM
3

I’m on the opposite side of this. My ex bullied me into spending all my money on him. I bought him stuff constantly. Christmas and birthday presents were £100s. If I spent less he’d moan that I didn’t love him. When I got with my current partner, it was close to Christmas and I told him I was spending only £20 on him and I wanted him to do the same. He was actually really happy to not have that obligation to spend lots on me as he had very little money when we got together. Definitely love my cu…

Q4M Do you flirt with people you aren’t attracted to and wouldn’t fuck even if given the chance? If yes, why?
/r/PurplePillDebate08/08/22 07:13 PM
2

I’ve had sexual contact with a guy I’m not attracted to before. You just have to be drunk enough to make bad decisions
/r/PurplePillDebate08/08/22 06:52 PM

Depends. Can he talk to women?
/r/PurplePillDebate07/08/22 02:16 PM
1

Yeah. I just find it awkward if someone I don’t find attractive asks me out. I don’t like hurting people’s feelings.
/r/PurplePillDebate07/08/22 07:14 AM
2

He is so anxious about directions and getting lost that if tell him to get to the place we are going he needs to go right, he will check it on Google maps anyway, before going right.

/r/PurplePillDebate05/08/22 06:26 PM

Female. From early childhood. I remember a friend being bullied for being fat and having bad clothes aged 5.
/r/PurplePillDebate05/08/22 05:54 PM
1

Erm. He was definitely very pushy but I didn’t say no straight away. I ended up going down on him (no idea why) and then I think I sort of sobered a little or came to my senses and told him I didn’t want to have sex with him so he left (very annoyed). I don’t think the guys a rapist or anything. But the whole thing is a bit iffy.
/r/PurplePillDebate04/08/22 06:49 PM
1

4/5 guys I slept with I wasn’t attracted to straight away. 1 of those 4 I actively found gross but ended up getting in a drunk situation with him which I regret.
/r/PurplePillDebate04/08/22 06:35 PM

Do you mean the. I want a wife but not a single friend guy. He’s been quiet recently if he’s still here.
/r/PurplePillDebate04/08/22 10:54 AM

Awkward men are my kryptonite. Seeing there awkwardness melts my heart and I want to see how flustered he gets when I start getting sexy with him.

What do you do if you have one friend flirt incessantly with another friend of the opposite sex who you know is not interested. Should I tell them it’s a lost cause? Or let them keep trying?
/r/PurplePillDebate03/08/22 11:18 PM

THIS WHOLE COURTROOM IS OUT OF ORDER
/r/PurplePillDebate03/08/22 07:55 PM

Never settle. Ever.
/r/PurplePillDebate03/08/22 07:46 PM

Hahaha. Not like that at all in my case. He’s into it. He says it makes the orgasm he finally gets AMAZING.

He should do as he pleases. You get one shot at life. If fucking lots of women will bring you joy during your short existence…get at it.

I’m into BDSM. So choking, slapping, humiliation is hot to me. I enjoy choking, slapping and humiliating my boyfriend too. Most of my sex is me dominating my bf. I often lock up his cock for days.

I was friends with my abuser for 10 years before we got together. We were in the same social group, got on insanely well and had all the same interests. I thought I knew him really well after years of sitting up to the early hours chatting online, sharing our fears and hopes. He was funny, talented and kind. On our first date he was too nervous to even kiss me. It was cute and endearing and I fell head over heels. For the first 6 months, everything was amazing. He made me feel happy and loved. T…

Me too. Some personalities just aren’t compatible and it’s totally fine being rejected for not matching personalities with someone. “You’re alright and you’re attractive but we wouldn’t get along together. We’re too different” Looks would make me feel like shit. “You’re a nice girl but you’re too ugly for me to want to bone”. That would be horrible to hear.

I had to change my locks after my breakup following texts like this (“I’m on my way to your house, you deserve the consequences of your actions” etc. Fucking terrifying. I have some nightmares to this day about him burning down my house with me in it. Thankfully moved many miles away from him and didn’t pass on my address to acquaintances of his, so I’m good now.

At my work you just hire the one who interviews better. Who you vibe with the most. Cause you have to work with these people every day. It doesn’t directly affect the wage of the people doing interviewing and hiring typically if you’re in a medium or large business so the hirers don’t tend to care about sex. Small businesses tend to offer piss poor maternity leave pay anyway and you’re more likely to be interviewed by the actual business owner so it is probably a lot worse. But if a business has…
/r/PurplePillDebate20/07/22 10:20 AM

I think everyone has a story of getting laughed at (jokingly) for having a Buckie which makes you more reluctant to give/receive. This increases older you get.

Congrats!! Now go forth and help your fellow man.
/r/PurplePillDebate19/07/22 04:26 PM

I can’t tell if you’re trolling but it’s better to rise above it and say “objectification of both sexes is bad because it places unreasonable expectations on men and women” than throw the toys out the pram and say “women do it to men so I thinks it’s fine for men to do it too”. Both are shit. Anyway, that’s what I choose you do 🤷‍♀️

Not really a fair comparison. The 2002 campaign is for Valentine’s Day. If you look at the 2022 Valentine’s Day campaign it’ll be closer to the top one.
/r/PurplePillDebate18/07/22 08:22 AM
2

It’s not to do with bare minimum. You can say basically nothing and not be doing silent treatment. Silent treatment is point blank refusing to answer questions. Avoiding eye contact, passive aggressiveness
/r/PurplePillDebate17/07/22 08:06 PM
3

That’s fine. Silent treatment has huffy anger and refusing to answer questions.
/r/PurplePillDebate17/07/22 07:57 PM

My ex would give me the silent treatment for days. Definitely a dumping offence in all following dating/relationships

/r/PurplePillDebate17/07/22 06:02 PM

Depends on many things. You need to have the correct personality for it. You must be independent. It does not work for needy people. You must be trusting. You need to be organised. Book visits as frequently as possible and well in advance to keep down costs. A job which allows some flexibility for you to take time off to travel is good. You need to have an end date for when you’ll be together in mind. It can’t go on forever and having a date in mind makes it easier to deal with. It’s possible bu…

Touching his arm, leg , hand. Making flirty jokes. For example, say he says he was doing some DIY that day when we’re having small talk I might say “I like a man who’s good with his hands” wink wink nudge nudge. Lots of eye contact, fluttery eyelashes, straight up eye fucking. If he isn’t getting the hint, asking for a number.

/r/PurplePillDebate13/07/22 05:07 PM

I don’t really agree with the premise of your question so I’m struggling to respond if I’m honest. I want (and have) male friends because I’ve met lots of men in my life who make good friends. It’s not cause they’re men. It’s cause they’re fun, interesting, friendly individuals. I haven’t seen many people say they want male friendship for the sake of it 🤷‍♀️

Yeah. I’d never forgive an affair either.
/r/PurplePillDebate12/07/22 09:43 AM
1

Yeah maybe. I would like to have sex with a woman but I’m happy to not because I love him to pieces and would never want to cause him pain. If he cheated and still wanted to remain together, I suppose it would be a guilt free way to try that out. I don’t have a woman in mind or anything and I’ll happily die having never touched a vagina because monogamy suits me.
/r/PurplePillDebate12/07/22 09:41 AM
1

I don’t want to sleep with someone else. I’m happy in a monogamous relationship. But it goes both ways. I expect monogamy from him too. That’s the deal. If he has a slip up, I think the least I’d be owed is a free pass to do the same should I want to. Maybe I wouldn’t want to when it actually came to it. But that’s how I see it. He’d be free to leave if he wasn’t happy with that.
/r/PurplePillDebate12/07/22 09:32 AM

I don’t know. I very recently realised I like women as well as men so maybe I’d take it as an opportunity to try that out 🤷‍♀️

Yeah. This is exactly how I see it.

I didn’t realise she was a single mother but I knew this was the guy that clearly thinks he should be able to cheat on his wife with no consequences.

You’ve given me an idea for a post. Watch this space.

As u/SmarmyPapsmears says, guys really care about n count. Pretending they don’t is naive.
/r/PurplePillDebate11/07/22 06:29 PM

Based on the n count discussion lots of men here have, I was hopelessly naive on the dating market when I happily had sex on the first date. I honestly didn’t realise I should have been withholding or I’d have zero respect. If I ever become single again, then sex on the first date is a definite no, and I’ll discourage my female friends and family to do it too. Thank you PPD.
/r/PurplePillDebate11/07/22 06:26 PM
6

The way I like to see it is that there is no such thing as perfect, but there is such a thing as perfect for you. So many of my female friends/family are with men that I just would not be compatible with. Doesn’t mean they’re bad, or I’m picky. Just that we wouldn’t be a good match.

True story. I “cosmic ordered” my partner when I was 16. I wrote a big list of everything I wanted in a boyfriend, hid it in my favourite book and did weird magic on it (criiiinge). Found it recently when clearing out my childhood books. It’s basically a full on description of my fiancé 😂

I’m curious for men on here’s opinions on makeup. A lot of hate for it gets bandied about so if you can clarify a few things that’s be great. Do you date women who wear lots of makeup? Would you prefer women don’t wear make up at all? Or use it for just social gatherings like parties etc.?
/r/PurplePillDebate09/07/22 07:58 AM

Well this is what makes this question difficult I say. Cause many men want different things. Let’s just say getting an LTR for the sake of argument.

How have your friends met people? Would you say you’re a similar attractiveness to them?
/r/PurplePillDebate08/07/22 02:05 PM

Never. Any guy I had sex with prior to commitment, I had sex with in full knowledge he owed me nothing. This includes my current partner who I had fooled around with prior to even going on a date.
/r/PurplePillDebate08/07/22 10:30 AM

The trouble I see with them is that they make money from not letting people match up straight away. They need guys to feel like they’re not getting anywhere so they’ll pay. And this can have a massive impact on self image/mental health etc.

It’s because HVM as defined by FDS and HVM as defined by red pill are entirely different. There was this post ages ago where a guy asked if you’d rather be with a HVM as part of a harem, a LVM with commitment or alone. Everyone picked alone and the guy got annoyed because they way he read it was women would rather be alone than in a committed relationship with an ugly guy. But that’s not what women meant. They mean they’d rather be alone than with someone abusive, unkind etc. and that if a man i…

Yes. Of course. But again I’m not naive. Men without work for a long time tend to have terrible mental health because they’re so used to contributing to the household and now feel worthless. It can lead to depression/anxiety. Bankruptcy, financial hardship etc can break up otherwise happy couples. I never want to be in this position. I’ve done a lot to ensure we will never face financial hardship. Both of our salaries are insured so that either of us take ill health, we have a period of time wit…

I grew up in a divorced household. I never believed the Disney dream of love conquers all. Life is hard. People who were perfectly compatible while dating as young and carefree individuals can collapse in a marriage when faced with childcare, work stress, ill health, alcoholism etc etc. I think committing to someone for life is a solemn vow, and I do not ever want a divorce. The way to minimise that is to find a man who I’m compatible with in every way. I’ve thankfully done that. It doesn’t soun…

I want my partner to be financially stable because I’m financially stable and I want us to be compatible in how we spend, invest and save our money. I will be taking a year off work to look after a newborn at some point so I need him to be able to look after the mortgage while I’m doing that. I want to be able to retire with him at a good age. Not have him working into his late 60s.

/r/PurplePillDebate05/07/22 11:38 AM

Yeah. I did it aged 16. Went on one date with the guy and he just didn’t live up to my imagined hype. Poor guy. If I hadn’t had unrealistic standards for him maybe I’d have given him more of a shot. Ah well. Alls well that ends well.

So I had never heard of it before so it seems to be referring to having a crush if I’ve understood the Wikipedia right. I would say it’s true, cause I’ve experienced an obsessive crush. Is it useful? Maybe? It makes your highly motivated to pursue a relationship I guess? But if the object of your desire doesn’t reciprocate, then I think it can be pretty destructive if you can’t handle it emotionally.

Being desired makes me hornier and therefore more likely to want sex. Yes it’s possible for me to want it and desire it independently, however, the rational part of my brain would find ways to back out of it. “You have work early tomorrow, he lives in bla bla bla and that’s extortionate to get a taxi home from etc etc.” I wouldn’t pursue it if the guy didn’t seem interested enough to escalate cause it didn’t seem worth the effort.

I have had casual sex twice. I didn’t enjoy it and wouldn’t do it again if I was single but here’s what had to happen for me to want to. His friends were already flirting/dancing with my friends. The fact that the two groups had sort of moulded made it feel safer some what. No idea why. Safety in numbers? I had to be the right level of drunk. Not too sober or I wouldn’t have done it. One night I was walking home alone when a drunk football fan I was passing in the street came right up to my face and said “give me a blowjob”. I jumped back, shocked at the invasion of space and overtly sexual manner. I did feel scared/threatened because although he didn’t threaten physical violence explicitly, his tone, manner, drunkenness were worrying and I thought things might escalate. Is this a catcall? Threat of physical violence? Neither? Someone shouting “hello gorgeous” from the oppos…

This has always annoyed me. I fucking HATE it. I agree with your comment but from a female perspective, it feels infantilising and is encouraging women to be scared to walk out their front door. I point blank refuse to be scared living my life. I walk home in the dark a lot. I keep my wits about me, stick to brightly lit streets etc. of course but am I fuck sitting at home scared to move because it’s dark when for significant parts of the year it’s dark at 4 fucking pm. People want different shit. Someone may have fucked once in the past year but still consider themselves unsuccessful. Someone might not have had a girlfriend but still consider himself successful as he wasn’t aiming to get one. If you can think of an objective success measure, I’m all ears.

Q4 guys who aren’t successful with women. Do you believe your looks are 100% the cause of your issues? Or do you think personality/mental health/physical health plays a larger part?

More likely men. My female friends don’t tend to have strong opinions on much. Don’t follow politics or anything. Barely read the news, whereas my male friends read a lot of politics etc. so are more likely to doom scroll and argue on twitter.

I don’t think this is saying you can’t have female friends. I think it’s just taking the piss out of guys who never make a move on a woman they’re interested in, pretend to be friends, and then get pissed when she gets with the guy who actually made a move.

In my part of the UK, it’s an even split. Especially if you go for drinks. One person buys drink one, the next person buys drink two and so on.

I never implied that it happens “usually”. I wouldn’t suggest a woman goes in expecting a long term relationship if she has sex on the first date. I don’t see this issue as long as people aren’t being naive about it.

This is why I had sex my partner very quickly. I didn’t want a relationship with a guy who’d judge me for finding him attractive enough to fuck on the first date. Thankfully, he was cool with it,

/r/PurplePillDebate27/06/22 02:47 PM

An interesting component to the “do you expect a male friend to chase down a thief” thread. When I was leaving my abusive ex boyfriend who’d threatened to murder me, I told none of my male family or friends about the threat. I only told my female friends and family. This is because I knew that my male family, specifically my father would likely physically assault my ex if they knew he’d threatened me and I was concerned my dad would end up with a criminal record or jail time. I wonder if this is…

I don’t know. All my high n count friends are married or in LTRs though and all my low n count friends bar one are single 🤷‍♀️ I think men generally do care about their partners previous experiences but most stick their fingers in their ears and sing “la la la” really loudly if confronted with it. Like, if they don’t think about it they don’t have to worry. And if it’s brought up it can cause a break up or a meltdown or similar. Edit: I think figuringmylife is probably correct in her estimate.

I never said that’s what women give as advice. That’s what OP said, so take it up with him. Additionally I’m 100% fine with men deciding for themselves it’s not worth the time and effort. Again, this isn’t what the post is about. It’s about women not giving advice. A man who’s decided it’s not worth the effort does not need dating advice as he’s not trying to date. So obviously this advice would be useless to him.

/r/PurplePillDebate23/06/22 10:33 AM

Height doesn’t directly correlate with penis size. Please stop worrying about this. Women are clueless about cock size. Seriously. I have been with my partner 8 years and have no clue what size he is, never mind how he compares. You seem to want to sabotage yourself
/r/PurplePillDebate23/06/22 09:48 AM
5

How is it awful? Awful would imply it’s actively hindering you. If you followed that advice you’re sure as shit doing better than the guys not doing it.
/r/PurplePillDebate23/06/22 09:43 AM
2

That’s not unlikely as picking for height is something a woman can actively do. You can’t actively pick for cock size unless you heard from someone else a guy had a big dick.
/r/PurplePillDebate23/06/22 09:21 AM
1

Is that your penis size?
/r/PurplePillDebate23/06/22 09:14 AM
4

68 percent of men measure between 4.5 and 5.8, with the other 32% split between smaller and bigger. She’s only had sex with 3 guys including you. It’s unlikely she’s found a 6+in her limited experience.
/r/PurplePillDebate23/06/22 08:51 AM
4

Please do not worry about this. I beg you. I have had sex with 5 men and have NO FUCKING IDEA who was biggest and who was smallest. They’re all so close in size, it’s imfuckingpossible to distinguish. The vast, vast majority of men are average. In all likelihood, you are average and they were average. There is still a chance one was bigger, but chances are it was so small a difference she wouldn’t even notice.
/r/PurplePillDebate23/06/22 08:36 AM
11

Every woman is different but there are general rules of thumb for attractiveness. For example, I can say men like bigger tits. This is not 100% true. There are gay men, asexual men, men who prefer small tits, men who are all about the ass and aren’t too bothered by tits, men who like big tits but have an upper threshold of how big they’d want those tits to be. But…as a general rule…all things being equal..most men are picking a c-cup over and a-cup.
/r/PurplePillDebate23/06/22 08:29 AM
21

I’m sorry, but how does giving the advice “use tinder, go to a party, get a hobby” sabotage average man? If a guy isn’t doing those things, then they aren’t going to get anyone. About a month ago I did a survey on here where I asked the men unsuccessful in dating if they approached or did OLD. One quarter said they did neither. As a woman, I feel perfectly happy giving those men the advice “use OLD, or get out and socialise more” because they straight up aren’t doing it and a woman isn’t just go…

/r/PurplePillDebate22/06/22 10:02 AM

Sure, I always understand that people are allowed their preferences. I just think that some preferences are going to seriously hinder an attempt at getting an LTR. But of course, if someone doesn’t want to step-parent, they should avoid single parents.
/r/PurplePillDebate22/06/22 09:30 AM

I think having a preference under the age of 30 to not date single parents is probably fine but above 30, that’s going to seriously whittle down your already smaller dating pool.

Keep practicing talking to women, even with the knowledge it might not work out. The more you talk to women, the better you get. If you just isolate from women for a prolonged period of time it’ll be much harder to get back up on that horse. To stop the rejection feeling so bad, view the entire thing as a science experiment. Or something like musical instrument or foreign language practice. You’re not trying to get it perfect every time, you just want to see improvement. Change the mindset. Chan…

Doesn’t matter if you think it’s justified dude. If she doesn’t think it’s justified she’ll just leave.

If you go to see the same comedians multiple times, you realise they have about 5 set responses for hecklers they regurgitate.

From what I can see below, there’s only one woman claiming they’re average. So not sure that’s representative of all women on here never mind all women in general.

What does shallow on everything else as well mean?
/r/PurplePillDebate21/06/22 10:11 AM

The way I see it, because 40 year old men tend to have let themselves go, by putting in some effort you automatically become much hotter than other men in your age group. I’ve maybe misunderstood this.
/r/PurplePillDebate21/06/22 07:35 AM

Are you one of the guys I was talking about? I.e. concerned about approaching? I’m interested to know how these concerns affect day-to-day behaviour. Would you just never approach anyone as a result of this for example?
/r/PurplePillDebate21/06/22 06:57 AM

There’s a common issue on here that I just do not understand and would like some insight. Why do people care what people they barely know think of them? Qs like “how can a guy not get labelled a jerk for not wanting to be exclusive”, “how can a guy approach a girl without being labelled creepy” etc. Like, you can’t please everyone all the time. You can be a perfectly reasonable human and still have others dislike you or be mean about you. Approach who you want, commit to who you want, dump who y…

Yeah. It is more effort for me in all the ways you’ve said. But the thing about being a woman means that if I’m too tired, not feeling dominant, just want a quick fuck I can still get that. In which case, obviously he has to make more physical effort than me. Which balances it a bit more. I’d still say it’s about 75/25 effort to me. I’m happy doing it though and not about to moan about it or anything. It’s fun.

As a woman who enjoys femdom, the sheer amount of stamina you need to fuck someone on a soft surface for that length of time is something I did not appreciate until I tried it for myself with a strap on. Honestly. It’s impressive.
/r/PurplePillDebate20/06/22 03:58 PM

I can’t say if I do or not. I’ve been with 5 guys who I assume were all average cause I honestly couldn’t tell you who was big/small out of the bunch. I can say none of them were too big or too small. I didn’t come with two of them but don’t think that was dick size related. One was a one night stand in a foreign country where we had to be quick before the person I was sharing a hotel with came back. The other person I gave a blowjob and he didn’t reciprocate in any way so unlikely to orgasm fro…

It was 100% down to him. Not only was I more than happy with it, I hadn’t asked to measure it. I’m laughing now as it’s funny to have someone lie straight to your face about something you can both see. But yeah. His dick was fine. Zero complaints. His personality was garbage.
/r/PurplePillDebate20/06/22 02:29 PM

Not my current partner. My first partner did out of curiosity and he was about 5’, but lied to me and said he was 6’. Even though I could clearly see it and know how measuring tapes work 😂😂

Unsolicited? So like, to randoms?

Yes one of the reasons. But one specific member of the opposite gender, my fiancé.

6’ish, no idea on dick size but I’m assuming average, middle class, median salary, BMI about 31, doesn’t go to the gym so no idea what he’d bench if he did go, gorgeous face and hair. Definitely above average with regards to facial attractiveness. Terrible dress sense 😂😂

The issue is too big for one woman can be the absolute sweet spot for another. Men have small, average, big dicks. Women have small, average, big vaginas. I’m not saying size doesn’t matter, but I have never been with a guy where penis size was an issue. I think all guys I’ve been with are in the 4-5.5 range and all of them gave me pleasure.
/r/PurplePillDebate20/06/22 08:03 AM
2

No. I knew I was unattractive when I was younger. It did not surprise me men weren’t interested. I still managed to get a boyfriend though, who was similarly not traditionally attractive (I found him attractive but my family/friends often commented that he was ugly and fat). When I had my glow up, the last year of my relationship with my ex, it was actually a result of him continually telling me how disgusting I was. That I was fat, my hair was a mess, my clothes were unflattering, I didn’t know…

Based on the recent post I want to ask - Are men with trades doing badly in the dating market? All the plumbers, electricians etc. I know are married or in an LTR so I haven’t seen it personally but interested in what other people have witnessed.

Question for men in LTRs. Your current wife/girlfriend tells you she’s pregnant. Are you getting a paternity test?

I’ll never be caught!! Mwa ha ha ha
/r/PurplePillDebate19/06/22 01:04 PM

I don’t mind getting a private test. Just wouldn’t want to do 23andme.
/r/PurplePillDebate19/06/22 01:01 PM
-2

I’m against 23andme cause I don’t trust that private companies won’t sell that data on at some point and my DNA is a pretty fucking big piece of data to have. Also the police will more and more use 23andme following the successful apprehension of the Golden State Killer and I don’t want to police or the state having their hands on this data. Fuck all to do with paternity issues.

The guy who made th post. He’s worried he’s bad in bed.
/r/PurplePillDebate18/06/22 06:59 PM

He doesn’t want to be rough or dominant though. Think that’s his concern. Is that cause he doesn’t want to do that he’s considered bad in bed in his eyes.
/r/PurplePillDebate18/06/22 06:39 PM

You can switch it up in other ways. Let her take charge for example. Sex toys. Watching porn together. Anything really. Mix it up. See what you enjoy.
/r/PurplePillDebate18/06/22 05:46 PM

Serious question, do you need to ask the mother for a paternity test to happen in most cases? I know some countries have laws in place but is this the norm or the exception?
/r/PurplePillDebate18/06/22 05:39 PM

Why not both? Variety is the spice of life. A guy doing the same thing every time is forgettable, a guy switching it up keeps you on your toes.
/r/PurplePillDebate18/06/22 04:25 PM

I didn’t say that either. I say once a certain level of hotness is reached, other factors come in to play. Looks are obviously very important.

/r/PurplePillDebate17/06/22 09:52 PM

I said earlier tonight I thought status was important in dating and I got a lot of disagreement. I think the UK obsession on class (of which I’m a part of) is very specific to this country. I would not date a chav if they were the last man on earth. He could be 10/10 looks and I’m not attracted. Can’t say you’re the same for chav women but I think it’s an interesting topic for the sub.
/r/PurplePillDebate17/06/22 09:47 PM

Scotland. You get bell peppers but other varieties require specialist shops in cities. They’re not in big supermarkets.

I’m so jealous of Americans and the amount of oeppers they can buy. Any time I watch Binging with Babish he has about 8 peppers he needs for a recipe and I’d be lucky if I could find one here.

Haha. Sorry. I meant dating advice. Thank you blud!

I think a lot of People on here would be much happier if they stopped following hot TikTok girls.
/r/PurplePillDebate16/06/22 08:38 PM

Peter is much fatter IMO.
/r/PurplePillDebate16/06/22 08:08 PM

I went onto r/rateme and found an average dude
/r/PurplePillDebate16/06/22 07:51 PM

I agree. I’m not douching it. But a little water to rinse out the cum is necessary if you don’t want to smell of cum.
/r/PurplePillDebate16/06/22 07:40 PM

Don’t bring up “is sex a need?”. It summons Lillth
/r/PurplePillDebate16/06/22 07:08 PM

Sounds like a good way to get AIIIIIIIiIDS (said in a Rich Evans from Red Letter Media voice)
/r/PurplePillDebate16/06/22 06:34 PM

Politicians and comedians is a good way to do it actually
/r/PurplePillDebate16/06/22 06:22 PM

Agreed
/r/PurplePillDebate16/06/22 06:09 PM

How can you tell she’ll gain weight?
/r/PurplePillDebate16/06/22 06:09 PM

Thanks for your answer!
/r/PurplePillDebate16/06/22 05:59 PM

You can find average women on the internet dude. It’s not hard.
/r/PurplePillDebate16/06/22 05:34 PM

You won’t get a straight answer here. I’ve tried to pin this down before.
/r/PurplePillDebate16/06/22 05:15 PM

Fair enough man
/r/PurplePillDebate16/06/22 04:54 PM

Why are you not just answering my thread? 😂😂
/r/PurplePillDebate16/06/22 04:51 PM

See, I think this is so foreign to me because being with a guy so much more attractive than me would make me even more insecure. Each to their own I guess.
/r/PurplePillDebate16/06/22 04:25 PM

I have a lot of fun with my shower head in the mornings in that area and that keeps me clean too. Double win.
/r/PurplePillDebate16/06/22 04:23 PM

No. My very little experience in hookups has confirmed it’s not for me.
/r/PurplePillDebate16/06/22 04:19 PM

I’ve seen a lot of men on here say women are buoyed up by social media, that it gives them an inflated sense of self worth, makes them entitled, less like to accept average man because their DMs (even average women’s DMs) are chock full of thirsty men. Why then does pretty much every study into it suggest women have worse self esteem if they are a regular user of social media? That it makes them feel less attractive? Makes them more prone to eating disorders etc. How does this affect the dating …
/r/PurplePillDebate16/06/22 04:17 PM

Ah that’s interesting.
/r/PurplePillDebate15/06/22 10:25 PM

I don’t think you give women enough credit.
/r/PurplePillDebate15/06/22 10:19 PM

Erectile dysfunction. Is offensive? What? If anyone I’ve been with is struggling, I just go get them a water and chill for a bit then try again later.
/r/PurplePillDebate15/06/22 10:19 PM

Absolutely. Like. All the time.
/r/PurplePillDebate15/06/22 10:17 PM

I can assure you men are not any different in that respect.
/r/PurplePillDebate15/06/22 10:10 PM

Yeah. The majority in that post said they didn’t. So it seems like I’m an odd one.
/r/PurplePillDebate15/06/22 09:44 PM

Yeah I get a pulse most of the time bur sometimes it’s like a aching pain. Bloody weird.
/r/PurplePillDebate15/06/22 09:43 PM

I love that so muchZ
/r/PurplePillDebate15/06/22 09:41 PM

Yeah it’s definitely not all the time so maybe it’s something to do with my cycle.
/r/PurplePillDebate15/06/22 09:40 PM

Amazing! I didn’t know it had a name!!
/r/PurplePillDebate15/06/22 09:38 PM

Q4W: I saw this post asking if “blue balls” for women were a thing and pretty much all the responses said no. Now, I might have misunderstood what blue balls are but I thought it was something along the lines of a physical pain if you cant have sex. If I’m really horny and we aren’t getting to penetration fast enough my cervix starts to ache, like it’s actually sore and it often gets me to skip foreplay cause I just NEED it in me. Is this just a me thing? Do other women here experience similar? …
/r/PurplePillDebate15/06/22 09:33 PM

It’s a hypothetical mate. Just interested in the responses.
/r/PurplePillDebate15/06/22 08:58 PM
1

Ok. But I’m not sure many people would date someone who they know is in love with someone else - you get me?
/r/PurplePillDebate15/06/22 07:35 PM
2

Yeah. There’s definitely something not adding up.
/r/PurplePillDebate15/06/22 07:25 PM
1

I dunno. You feel lonely? Want kids and need a mother for them.
/r/PurplePillDebate15/06/22 07:17 PM
1

What happens if after a few months you’re still in love. Would you never date again?
/r/PurplePillDebate15/06/22 07:17 PM
1

Haha fair enough. If you don’t believe in love that makes the question a bit different.
/r/PurplePillDebate15/06/22 07:10 PM
1

Changed it from “moral” to “best”. Moral the answer is obviously 2. But best could mean best for you, rather than best for others.
/r/PurplePillDebate15/06/22 07:09 PM
1

Would you never get an LTR again if you couldn’t get over an ex?
/r/PurplePillDebate15/06/22 07:07 PM
1

Yup. Girls who are literal instagram models being called a 4/10.
/r/PurplePillDebate15/06/22 07:07 PM
1

Ok but say you date someone. It gets to the point t when you’re thinking about moving in with them. You’re still in love with your ex. Then what? When do you call it off? Or do you make it down the aisle with them?
/r/PurplePillDebate15/06/22 07:04 PM
1

You don’t think there’s men who cant get over their ex?
/r/PurplePillDebate15/06/22 07:03 PM
1

Changed the q slightly.
/r/PurplePillDebate15/06/22 07:02 PM
1

If you couldn’t get over an ex would you never date again?
/r/PurplePillDebate15/06/22 07:02 PM
1

Would you do that if alpha widowered
/r/PurplePillDebate15/06/22 07:01 PM
1

What’s the best thing to do when you have been “alpha widowed”. I.e. still harbour feelings for an ex? Date again as soon as you like and let the person you’re dating think you’re over it? Wait until you’re over it (which you may never be) and maybe dying alone.
/r/PurplePillDebate15/06/22 06:57 PM

Bad. It’s always bad here.
/r/PurplePillDebate15/06/22 06:54 PM

Yes. People insanely judgemental. Calling ordinary weight people fat as fuck etc.
/r/PurplePillDebate15/06/22 06:54 PM

Jesus. You’re whatever fits whatever narrative they’re trying to push. You get lots of women? Then you’re a Chad? You struggle? Then your grotesque etc.
/r/PurplePillDebate15/06/22 06:53 PM

Even if you’re the hottest thing ever, you are still below average on here.
/r/PurplePillDebate15/06/22 06:51 PM

I’m not on tiktok mate. So makes sense the non materialistic, less status driven women aren’t on social media doesn’t it?
/r/PurplePillDebate14/06/22 09:05 AM

I’m not going to base if this is a widespread thing based on a random Reddit thread. As I said, I’ve never dealt with this. In my 13 years of having sex.
/r/PurplePillDebate14/06/22 08:31 AM

This. Do these people exist? I have NEVER heard of this.
/r/PurplePillDebate14/06/22 08:19 AM

Spiritual to me means something different. I don’t mind a guy who can look inward and analyse his own well-being/thought processes. I wouldn’t get on with a guy who’s religious or into pseudoscience.
/r/PurplePillDebate14/06/22 08:10 AM
10

I make enough money to look after myself and I’m very unmaterialistic, so the second dude if you take out all the spiritual stuff I guess. I’m really not spiritual and I’m not attracted to guys who are spiritual. Similar to guys getting annoyed at girls obsessed with astrology I guess.
/r/PurplePillDebate14/06/22 08:03 AM

I don’t date men who don’t shower and don’t wipe their ass. Pretty simple. Also never met a guy like this. So it’s been pretty easy tbh.
/r/PurplePillDebate14/06/22 07:54 AM
1

Only -2. I think I said women and men generally date their looksmatch in most cases.
/r/PurplePillDebate13/06/22 03:44 PM
1

My partner dated older women before me. He is an old soul, so he found older women generally shared more of his interests/tastes. He also found they were much better at communicating what they actually wanted. He said he felt younger women expected him to be a mind reader, in bed and in life. Older women generally knew what they wanted and verbalised it.
/r/PurplePillDebate13/06/22 03:38 PM
1

Think you said it best a few weeks ago. Blue and purple are pretty much the same. At least I think it was you.
/r/PurplePillDebate11/06/22 09:53 AM
1

Naaaah. They’ll just say he’s getting dead bedroomed.
/r/PurplePillDebate11/06/22 09:36 AM
1

Yup. I live in a country with free university tuition, free dental check ups, free eye check ups, free healthcare in general, free baby clothes and books when you get pregnant and is it fuck communist 😂😂
/r/PurplePillDebate10/06/22 03:58 PM
1

Oohh. Is that tied into insurance? The US medical system hurts my brain it’s so complicated haha
/r/PurplePillDebate10/06/22 03:52 PM
1

Think that’s a particular issue in the US. Calling the Dems left always makes me wince.
/r/PurplePillDebate10/06/22 03:50 PM
1

In my country you get free prescription drugs. But that’s nothing to do with gender I’m afraid.
/r/PurplePillDebate10/06/22 03:48 PM
1

Am I? Do you have the stats? Or are you basing this on ✨v i b e s✨? From what I can see online, 40-50% of women seem to earn the same or more than their partner. Seeing as men on average earn more than women, this seems pretty reasonable to me. No?
/r/PurplePillDebate10/06/22 03:11 PM
1

Leftist woman here dating a guy earning 25% less than me. Can confirm.
/r/PurplePillDebate10/06/22 03:03 PM
1

He said “complaining about not being able to get a girl”. It doesn’t matter what the reason is (dating is difficult, magical curse, hypergamy) you are still complaining about not being able to get a girl. It’s pretty rife. I don’t really think what you’ve said negates anything I said tbh.
/r/PurplePillDebate10/06/22 11:57 AM
1

What subreddit are you on? That’s basically half the chat.
/r/PurplePillDebate10/06/22 10:38 AM

Yeah, but I think the science around bringing them back is horrendous. There’s a reason they’re repressed. Leave them be.
/r/PurplePillDebate10/06/22 08:16 AM
1

Real one: 5 Fake one: it’s very hard to say. Do I assume every random guy that came up to dance with me in a nightclub was trying to fuck? Every guy I kissed? What about guy on the street that followed me and asked for a blow job? What about my male teacher when I was 14 who used to stroke my hair and tell me I was beautiful? What about my work colleague that groped my leg at a works night out and told me how jealous his wife was of me (I have no idea who his wife is and how she would know me to…
/r/PurplePillDebate09/06/22 03:22 PM
1

I’m assuming it was just reverse image searches which don’t take any time. If they pieced together lots of info to find them on LinkedIn or something, that’s unhinged.
/r/PurplePillDebate09/06/22 10:58 AM
1

I don’t know, but I think I’ve known when they guy I’m with isn’t enjoying himself. I wouldn’t say the guys have always known whether I was enjoying myself. But that’s generally cause if I’m having bad sex, I’ll fake it to get it over with.
/r/PurplePillDebate09/06/22 09:50 AM
1

It’s because he’s abusive so cheating is fine in the eyes of the movie watcher. People don’t take men’s abuse seriously so it’s not typically portrayed for anything other than laughs.
/r/PurplePillDebate08/06/22 03:01 PM

“Her body was not my type” You have a type.
/r/PurplePillDebate08/06/22 01:44 PM
1

Well it sounds like you have more lined up. Also I’m sure you have previously said you don’t have a type. Maybe mixing you up with someone else though.
/r/PurplePillDebate08/06/22 01:42 PM

I was single for a year. Had a couple of ONS. When I started dating seriously again I had a boyfriend within the month. Almost zero time on the dating market In my 13 years of adulthood.
/r/PurplePillDebate08/06/22 10:30 AM
1

This is my thoughts too. People can be red pill for traditional conservative reasons (against casual sex etc) or because they’re hardcore into evolutionary biology. One is likely Christian, the other Atheist. It’s fascinating.
/r/PurplePillDebate08/06/22 09:15 AM
1

Are you generally happy when not asleep? Or would you say it’s stress through the day and stress at night.
/r/PurplePillDebate08/06/22 09:11 AM
1

There’s probably age appropriate books or websites on it to help with that sort of thing. I remember finding my mum’s Cosmopolitan magazine when I was 13 and reading an article on masturbation tips along side a page about blow job tips. Not sure that was entirely age appropriate for me but I’ve turned out ok. Ish.
/r/PurplePillDebate08/06/22 09:08 AM
1

What are the religious persuasions on here? Mainly atheist? Or Christian? And does that impact whether you’re red or blue pilled?
/r/PurplePillDebate08/06/22 07:19 AM

I think like half of the women on PPD are off the market.

I’m 5’3. Met someone at 5’6 recently and I assumed he was 5’8 or something before he told me. I’m so short my entire understanding of men and women’s height is fucked. Tell me whatever height. As long as it’s only +2 inches I’ll likely believe it.
/r/PurplePillDebate07/06/22 08:49 PM
1

Similar for me - drama but no police. Although I specifically broke up with my ex in public cause I knew he was going to take it badly and I wanted witnesses. It definitely could have gotten to the police involvement stage if I’d done it at home.
/r/PurplePillDebate07/06/22 02:50 PM
1

In my opinion, there’s no time limit. I was friends with my partner for 3 years before we got together.
/r/PurplePillDebate07/06/22 01:19 PM
1

Depends on what you look like tbh.
/r/PurplePillDebate06/06/22 12:38 PM
1

I’m specifically talking about men who say women are physically unattractive
/r/PurplePillDebate06/06/22 10:34 AM
1

I mean, this is a hypothetical as I do like men. I’m trying to get my head into the mindset of men who feel this way about women. Are they just wanting incubators?
/r/PurplePillDebate06/06/22 09:49 AM
1

I don’t hate men - I love men. I said “if” meaning I absolutely don’t hate men. I’m reflecting on the attitudes of men on here who hate the personality, and character of women and also say women are unattractive. Why is sex with someone you do not like personally or aesthetically something to want? You know what I mean?
/r/PurplePillDebate06/06/22 09:47 AM
1

If I didn’t like the company of men, and didn’t find men attractive sexually, then why would I care that I can’t get one? For sex purposes? I can get myself off no problem. To combat loneliness? If I don’t like the company of men, surely I should combat loneliness by spending time with women? Is it to have kids?
/r/PurplePillDebate06/06/22 09:29 AM
1

Is that not what warm approach is?
/r/PurplePillDebate05/06/22 08:03 AM
1

I asked around my female friendship group. 80% of my female friends have never asked a guy out before in their life, 20% had (warm approach). Obviously not scientifically important or anything as my friendship group is hardly representative but it just made me think of the guys on here who say they never approach and they don’t use tinder. What are you expecting to happen? Cause from what I can see, women just aren’t approaching random dudes at the rates you need to get someone.
/r/PurplePillDebate05/06/22 07:54 AM

Women should eat their boyfriends? Whaaaaaatt?
/r/PurplePillDebate03/06/22 09:26 AM

Erm. I don’t think I’ve come across people who hate their exes more than me. Everyone else I know tends to just not bring them up anymore.
/r/PurplePillDebate03/06/22 08:57 AM
1

My ex told all our mutual friends I left him for someone else. One of his friends came up to me in a bar and told me I should be ashamed of myself. Told him the reason I left my ex was because he was crazy, not for another man. Eventually everyone could see my ex was full of shit because the man I “left him for” apparently turned out to be gay.
/r/PurplePillDebate03/06/22 08:42 AM

I wasn’t being underhanded dude. Just curious who you got advice from and what it was.
/r/PurplePillDebate01/06/22 06:40 AM

For the most part yes but I’d shave for special occasions. Say I was wearing a strappy or short dress to a wedding or if I was on a beach holiday, I’d shave. But I live in a cold country where I’m mostly covered so I’d be fine with keeping my hair.
/r/PurplePillDebate01/06/22 06:31 AM

Never heard an you one say something like that to a stranger. I don’t hang out with bullies.
/r/PurplePillDebate31/05/22 08:53 PM

Don’t really understand what you mean. You think being a doormat for a transactional relationship would be fulfilling?

There’s no point arguing against my Grandmother. She’s dead and would have been unlikely to frequent this sub had she been alive.

Seems like pretty reasonable advice.
/r/PurplePillDebate31/05/22 11:27 AM

Hmm. A lot of the guys on here say being 6’4 is basically a guarantee of sex. I’m assuming you disagree with this given your own personal experiences?
/r/PurplePillDebate31/05/22 11:13 AM
1

And was this how it worked out? Or did you feel a bit blindsided?
/r/PurplePillDebate31/05/22 11:01 AM

I had a glow up in my early twenties. I loved the change in how I was treated/perceived tbh. A lot of people on this sub seem to be pretty upset by it though.
/r/PurplePillDebate31/05/22 11:00 AM

Interesting. I expect a lot of parents don’t share this sort of information with their kids tbh. Think I’m probably a bit abnormal.
/r/PurplePillDebate31/05/22 10:59 AM

Can you edit that middle sentence. It’s a bit confusingly written. So yeah, you’re the exact person my post is referencing then.
/r/PurplePillDebate31/05/22 10:57 AM
1

Yeah. I was told this by my grandmother. She also told me sex was overrated and that it’s the woman’s fault in all cases of pre-marital sex. Also threatened to disown me if I ever got pregnant outside of marriage.
/r/PurplePillDebate31/05/22 10:55 AM

I’ve had sex with 5 men so I’ll break it down. After knowing him for decade and he started to cuddle me. I didn’t want to. Don’t know why I did it. Low self esteem? Drunkenness? when he kissed me (about 20 minutes into meeting him) when he kissed me (about 5 minutes into meeting him) when he took my hand in his (3 years after meeting him) What I’ve learned from this breakdown is my sexuality is pretty reactive. If you flirt hard enough with me and I’m single, then you’re probably getting sex if …

If I ever feel jealous, I recognise it as illogical and bury it. Never mention it to anyone. I trust my partner completely and he trusts me. No amount of same sex friendships changes that.

When I say I want to be with someone interesting, I mean someone who talks about stuff that’s interesting to me. My partner and I talk about politics, cinema, books. I find the things he says interesting. Others would find him very dull obviously. I don’t think when people say the want someone interesting they mean some party animal. They just mean someone they can hold a conversation with.

Girl here. I didn’t have close male friends or brothers til my very late teens. I was hopeless with guys until I got to university. Then I was in a STEM course surrounded by then. Sink or swim time.

A guy that wants to wear a maid costume out and about is an exhibitionist. A guy that wants to wear it at home because it’s taboo is most likely shy and submissive, which I do like. I have “made” (consensually) my partner wear a maids costume, heels etc at home every once in a while. Absolutely no one would expect this sort of behaviour from him who knows him. I think it’s hot but I don’t know many women who share this opinion.
/r/PurplePillDebate23/05/22 09:32 PM

Nah. I like shy, submissive guys and the dressing up in a maids costume out and about it a bit too exhibitionist for me.

My partner is on anxiety meds and I don’t think he’d ever manage without them. Give them a shot, if you don’t like the side effects you can always come off them.

19% of women in their 30s and 40s are single. Is that really so high? Seems like most are finding someone who meets their requirements.

I think when people say the bar is low they’re talking specifically about the incidences where men do something like babysit their own kids or make dinner once a year and then their wife/gf posts on social media something like “Mike is such a good dad, he babysat the kids while I went to the dentist today”. And you’re looking at it like, well they’re his fucking kids too. Why does he get a round of applause for basic decency. I haven’t heard people say the bar is low when discussing deciding who…

There are different types of Chad I think it’s been agreed here numerous times. Rocker Chad, artistic Chad, jock Chad. Is there a nerd Chad archetype and if so what does that look like? The guy who wouldn’t do well outside of the geeky sci if loving anime girls but cleans up at comic con. What’s his appearance/personality? Or is he not a thing.
/r/PurplePillDebate18/05/22 04:09 PM

Who phones for a pizza these days? Are you from the 90s?
/r/PurplePillDebate17/05/22 11:27 AM

I honestly feel like I’m speaking to aliens who learned everything about humanity from 4chan.
/r/PurplePillDebate17/05/22 10:58 AM

I remember the day I handed in my thesis. Had no idea what to do with myself hahah
/r/PurplePillDebate17/05/22 10:25 AM

The victim mentality of some of the people on here is wild to me. How do you get around day-to-day with that massive fucking chip on your shoulder?
/r/PurplePillDebate17/05/22 10:24 AM

Only reason I watched Seinfeld was cause a guy I liked kept talking about it.
/r/PurplePillDebate17/05/22 07:48 AM

Ahh. Not a romcom fan but I might make an exception for Gandolfini because I’m genuinely intrigued to see him in another role.
/r/PurplePillDebate17/05/22 07:23 AM

He said he likes one of the topics. I’d focus on that one and ignore the rest tbh. That way it’s not too fake and he’ll worry less.
/r/PurplePillDebate17/05/22 07:22 AM

I don’t know if he’s that overweight anymore but yeah I like him for sure. I’m not into weed though so not sure how compatible we’d be 😂
/r/PurplePillDebate17/05/22 07:17 AM

He’s too scary. Maybe if I saw him act in another part I’d be into it (unlikely given he’s dead) but to me he feels like an actual real mob boss. Like he might kill me.
/r/PurplePillDebate17/05/22 07:01 AM

No. He was probably close to underweight. But the guy I was in an LTR with before that (3 years long) was obese when we got together and throughout the relationship. So it isn’t just “fiancé goggles” or whatever. I can and do find fat men sexy.
/r/PurplePillDebate17/05/22 06:39 AM

Only John Goodman in the Flinstones Movie for me. And he has to wear the Fred costume.
/r/PurplePillDebate17/05/22 06:30 AM

Nah. Not a Chris Farley fan so you’re safe there.
/r/PurplePillDebate17/05/22 06:24 AM

James Gandolfini plays a psychopath too fucking well so not for me thank you hahaha 🤣
/r/PurplePillDebate17/05/22 06:21 AM

Men who go after fat women are rarer than dudes who go after thin women. I have dated fat guys in past and have sex with an obese man on a daily basis.
/r/PurplePillDebate17/05/22 06:18 AM

If I say Jonah Hill circa 2014 is that ok?
/r/PurplePillDebate17/05/22 05:51 AM

Most of my friends do not follow politics whatsoever. Never mind only following similar leaning sources.
/r/PurplePillDebate17/05/22 05:45 AM

I see a lot of love for fat women from certain elements on the sub so I’ve decided my new campaign is to do the same for some fat dudes I would bang given the following: if I was single he was single somehow we met he was into me. Day 1: Haley Joel Osment
/r/PurplePillDebate17/05/22 05:42 AM

All guys I’ve been in LTRs with I was friends with for years first, so assuming he could be social enough to make it into my mixed sex friend group so I could get to know him, very likely.
/r/PurplePillDebate17/05/22 05:31 AM

If I didn’t already have a loving boyfriend, great male friends, family and colleagues this sub would absolutely fuck with my idea of what men are like so I would suggest taking a break dude.
/r/PurplePillDebate17/05/22 04:49 AM

If you can’t tell from the photos, she’s fat. If she was thin, she’d have put up a photo showing it.
/r/PurplePillDebate17/05/22 04:32 AM

Have you ever considered Christian Mingle?
/r/PurplePillDebate16/05/22 05:23 PM

Maybe another feminist group. FDS are explicitly against it. You’d get torn apart if you posted something pro sex work on it.
/r/PurplePillDebate16/05/22 05:00 PM

FDSers hate sex work generally do they not? I’ve never seen someone pro sex work on FDS. They hate porn too.
/r/PurplePillDebate16/05/22 04:52 PM

Perfect description 😂
/r/PurplePillDebate16/05/22 04:07 PM

The guy is absolutely his own worst enemy.
/r/PurplePillDebate16/05/22 04:07 PM

That’s fucking hilarious. Absolutely not. If there’s cum on my face it’s because he wanted to cum on my face. Not to help the aging process. SPF 30, water and sleep. It’s all that works.
/r/PurplePillDebate16/05/22 04:06 PM

It rains constantly where I live so I’m always happy for the respite tbh. But I don’t like summer either cause I’m pale as hell and burn almost instantly.
/r/PurplePillDebate16/05/22 03:11 PM

Not often. I think a more common occurrence is people going on a date out of politeness rather pity. But even that I think is rare,

My favourites are people who did a Facebook IQ test and share it on there. When you click on it the questions are always insanely easy. I cringe every time.

I have never attempted to do it standing up on my own but my BF once made me come with a vibrator whilst my arms were tied up to a door frame and I was standing. He had to immediately let me down as my legs gave way.

If it wasn’t the American spelling I’d assume this was my ex. He once had a very similar reaction to me ordering a pizza for us when he was coming home. I tried to order it so it would arrive shortly after him but it got to my place about 25 minutes before him. Flipped his lid. Threw pizza at the wall. Screamed that if I cared about him I’d have waited til he was there to order him a pizza, that I was a selfish bitch etc. weirdly, I didn’t break up with him over it but fucking wish I did. Good o…

That “lesser earning person should do all the housework” thread is a bit baffling to me. I earn more than my partner but he works a 40 hour week and I work 37.5 hours. The thought that I would have more free time than him and just watch him tidy up around me is so weird. I enjoy spending time with him. If he’s working more hours and doing all the chores, I’d never have quality time with him. Makes sense that I do more cleaning while he’s still at work and that way when he’s home we can do someth…

You know when a movie is hyped for ages and you expect it to be amazing but because you got your hopes up, it ends up not meeting your expectations? I think people can do this with sex. It’s great, I love it. But it’s important to keep it in perspective. Y’know? I have a virgin friend who seems to think it will be the most amazing and romantic thing in the world when she finally does it. I have split the bill on every single date except one I’ve been on. And the only reason he paid for that was because we were running late and it would have taken too much time to buy our £8 cinema ticket separately. In the UK, a man will typically buy the first drink if you’re in a bar, then you buy the second and so on. It’s called “rounds” and is pretty common.

My boyfriend was approached by 100% of the women he dated so he must have had 100% rejection rate if he was approaching. I am not surprised he did badly on the few occasions he approached as he can rub people (men and women) up the wrong way a lot (brings up religion, politics often which a lot of people don’t like to discuss). He was cheated on by his ex who I had a few classes with at uni and knew a little. I remember speaking to her around the time just before she cheated on him and she had a…

Depends what he’s posting. If he’s AWALTing etc. then not interested. If he’s making measured responses to the insanity on here, then that’s fine. There’s guys on here who even when I don’t 100% of the time agree with them, I can at least see why they think what they think. Things are rarely as simple as we like them to be when it comes to ethics. That’s why there’s no right answer to the trolley problem. In all cases it’s about striking a balance. I believe given that someone has been given adequate time to seek an abortion and the increase in viability at this stage, then 22 weeks strikes the right balance of bodily autonomy issues. This is 2 weeks less than is currently allowed in my country so I’m not fully in line with that but overall I think allowing abortio…

Around 20 weeks, if delivered, in a good hospital with the right facilities and a bit of luck, a baby can live. Prior to that, it has no ability to live without being dependent on the womb. I think that’s the logic behind it. Most people seem to have abortion long before the 5 months mark though. It’s showing at that point. People will notice and abortion is taboo enough to not want to advertise.

There was a good example in the UK of policemen calling a guy in their team “the rapist” on their WhatsApp group and in person and messaging each other some other really questionable shit. The guy then kidnapped, raped and murdered a women he picked up off the street using his police identification. “The concept of toxic masculinity… refer to certain cultural norms that are associated with harm to society and men themselves. “ Guy is paying because it is a cultural norm that man pays for the first date. So ticks the first box. Does it tick the second box that it harms society and men to do this cultural norm? I think a lot of dudes here would say paying for dates does negatively impact themselves or even society so it would be toxic masculinity to people who believe that.

I’ve asked a few people what they mean by asshole behaviour and a lot of is “low key insult her” so teasing and “acting like you don’t care” so being confident. I wouldn’t describe it as asshole behaviour. I’m with you. I think it’s good fun all round.

So definitely bangable then haha

Yeah that’s fucked up. Suing a teacher for literally teaching definitions. Madness.

So face is higher rating for you? Maybe an overall 6 or something?

Yeah. But it’s a 10 for you, and a 5 for you. This is about your subjective opinion.

Settle this question for me guys. A woman is a 5 in the face and a 10 in the body. Is the overall rating 7.5 or does one attribute have a higher weighting?

I typo’d was and wasn’t. Edited now. I agree with what you said.

There’s probably not a uniform response. I’d definitely rate face higher personally. I also find overweight dudes attractive (not massively so but BMI of 30ish and below is fine). But dudes here seem to love a hot body quite a lot so maybe they’d rate it higher?

Ok. Well I think the law should state teachers can answer straightforward definitional questions but can’t proselytise. I think the existing law is poorly written based on this conversation in all honesty when I hadn’t even really read about it before.

When my mum said it to me it wasnt a man hating thing. Its a little giggle that maybe a boy likes you. I never remember feeling bad feelings towards a dude when this was said. I mean, I love when my boyfriend teases me and play fights. I’m not casting judgement on anybody. Just wondering if this is a chicken and egg thing, maybe 1% contributing to the behaviour?

In what way is he radicalised? If he’s not hurting anyone, leave him to his shit.

I said “one possible reason” in my OP. As in one of maybe a number of reasons? Do you think it’s maybe even 1% or the issue? Or 0%. That was my question my dude.

5 in the face and 10 in the body is 7.5. Seems reasonable to me.

It has “nothing to do with with mean being receptive to men that act that way”? Ok I disagree, I think women are receptive to men who tease/play fight. And you seem to agree. Be clearer in your wording.

I disagree. Kids are going to see this stuff around. They’re going to ask questions. I’m not suggesting the teacher shows them gay porn, but if they ask what the word gay means or about Timmy’s parents, a straightforward response would be beneficial. “Gay means two people of the same sex who love each other. Now where is your maths homework?”. Done and dusted. I was 6 when I asked a teacher what gay meant. He gave me that exact response. I shrugged and went back to my reading book. It’s fine.

Yes it is.

Ok so you’re agreeing with me. Then why are you saying “this has nothing to do with it reciprocating the behaviour”? That’s why I’m confused my man. The rest of your paragraph made complete sense and it’s obviously clearer now with your second comment.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
