I 100% feel you, I originally joined in the brighter days of yore, when this community was about lifting men up and combatting harmful legislation and social movements. Watching the regression into hatred and bitterness, and the way folks in here drag the vulnerable looking for belonging into the same depths has been disheartening to say the least. I still lurk here for the occasional gold and untold stories about inequality, but these good faith discussions grow fewer and further between, and h…

That is a fault of the justice system, and I wish it weren't so that, for example in my country, self-defense is very much going to see you land in court to defend your actions, especially if it has deadly consequences. I still however believe it is worth it to risk possible legal ramifications to stop an active rape and harm, preferably kill, a rapist, as long as you yourself, as an individual have judged that that is what you're willing to do, in the individual scenario. Again, I'm not saying …

Certainly, you can never know for certain that you won't be hurt, and physical altercations are dangerous. But I don't think it's wrong to step in, and our moral and human duty to protect others from harm should be encouraged, not expected, but encouraged. No-one is a bad person for looking out for their own life and limb, but it is certainly not wrong to protect someone from, for example, rape. Also, not to be an r/imverybadass victim, but if someone is for example actively committing a rape, s…

I personally believe it is the duty of every good human to step in if someone is being violently assailed. Of course, this should only be done in so far as it makes sense and is relatively safe for the bystander to do, for example, man with gun is commiting the crime, or man much larger than you is commiting the crime and you are alone, maybe don't step in, instead flee to a safe distance and call the police. But if anything can be done to prevent these crimes against humanity, then it should be…

Obvious trollpost is obvious. A. This interaction didn't happen, people don't talk like this B. This only serves to harm an otherwise legitimate movement due to the amount of easily quotable sections that sound terrible.

Im sure the underground scene is filled with variety, I personally love Tom Macdonald, but the top tracks just all sound the same to me.

To be fair, the amount of rap coming out nowadays has very much oversaturated the genre, and the fact that all of it sounds, to say the least, very similar, with few distinguishing features in the instrumentals makes it very difficult to tell it all apart. I dont think peoples main complaint is "hurr durr rap is shit", I think its more "Hey, can we please listen to something with a little bit more variety." its just that half a decade of the same tropes has led to no small amount of frustration.

Granted that, any of this is even remotely true beyond the obvious that directly relate to the existence of foreskin, it still shouldnt be forced upon children. If you want to be protected from this, get the procedure done as an adult.

Religions are oppressive structures, that while good in intention, can no longer be things on which we base our moral standards, because looking at them through the lens of today, they clearly do not stand up to scrutiny, scientifically or morally.

Old =/= correct or morally right. The book, along with all the others, has simply been a means by which human beings have been able to work together in large numbers, and I am very thankful that we are replacing these old oppressive structures for which thousands are killed and millions hurt yearly, and under which billions are oppressed.

Doesnt matter, if you want to be circumcised at 18 then sure. Dont force that choice onto an infant. This isnt about "let me make my choice" because the choice to cut off a piece of someone else is not your choice to make, its theirs.

Under normal circumstances, I'd be inclined to agree with you. But sometimes if a person gets a bit too high and mighty and puts someone down they need to be pulled off their horse and dragged through the mud a bit.

This is a fear I always have when stuff like this gets popular on this sub. Theres always a nagging fear, but at this point the amount of people confirmed to think like this means we can reliably trust a good amount of posts like these.

This post is doing neither, this post is literally equating the bullshit that is being said about men with the bullshit that is being said about black people. Nothing about this post is supporting racist talking points (unless those reading are feminists). Also, "hyper-masculine culture", if anything, does not view women as commodities, but rather men as disposable products that are there to provide for and protect women and children which, biologically makes sense, would you not agree?
/r/MensRights18/01/19 07:28 PM

Id have to say that destructive concepts like toxic masculinity, mansplaining and rape culture are mainstream enough within the feminist movement to be pretty defining characteristics of the movement.
/r/MensRights18/01/19 07:25 PM

I think people like you are the reason feminists can still say the MRA movement is bad. Theres just enough toxic incels like you to push away the women and men that want to try to listen to us.

Oh shit, I just realised the original guy (he had 55 downvotes back when I originally saw his comment, or perhaps Im just blind) is actually being upvoted. Yeah, I think this is a case of hypocrisy then, as much as I hate to call out other MRAs, tbh I think their points about internalised misandry are dumb. For a second there I had to check if I'd somehow gotten to r/feminism because I swear Ive seen this argument a million times but just coming from feminists and about people hating women, I hope this behaviour trend in the MRM wont continue.

Yes, they do, and if a muslim or a jew wants to be a good muslim or jew, they can get circumcised when they reach 18, this is not the forbidding of circumcision, its the forbidding of forcing a choice upon a child that said child isnt ready to make.

Toxic masculinity as a concept is the idea that the general psychological traits of men (masculinity) are toxic and to blame for male "badness". Its a sexist term, made by sexist people, to promote a sexist agenda surrounding men in the hope of gaining the power of the victim.
/r/MensRights10/03/18 09:46 PM
1

Its the suggestion that the concept of masculinity is somehow toxic and applies to all men even though masculinity and gender are social constructs, somehow. Masculinity is not a social construct and neither is gender, and to insist that general physical and psychological traits possessed by a certain gender are somehow wrong is the real toxic thing here.

Alright, lets look at the context then, a feminist posted this image, probably one of those "never hit a woman, no matter the situation" types, so shed be the type to think that anyone striking a woman, no matter the situation, is abusing said woman, whats the reaction to being abused, crying. This woman is crying because a man hit her, there is no context to prove that there was an antagonist or any certainty of what led up to the event in this situation, there is only an image of the aftermath…

Mmhmm, but if we dont take them on all fronts then well have an issue like the greeks did at marathon, except this time the Greeks wont win.
/r/MensRights08/09/17 07:29 AM

So we even already had a "mansplaining" but that wasnt good enough for these victimising fucks?
/r/MensRights08/09/17 03:48 AM

I dont even understand how Linda doesnt see what the fuck is so hypocritical about being a muslim feminist, my actual muslim friends, in the country where I live, think feminism is fucking ridiculous and goes against everything their religion is about, and they arent even for sharia law.
/r/MensRights07/09/17 06:13 PM

Why do we even need a specific term for that, cant we just call it being condescending why do we need to gender things?
/r/MensRights07/09/17 06:11 PM

True, the insult to question ratio is extremely high, usually I'll grt something like "what level of mental retardation do you have?" or "Fuck you feminism is about equality." but if we keep trying eventually well get through to someone.
/r/MensRights06/09/17 02:41 PM

Good bot.
/r/MensRights06/09/17 10:32 AM

Try going against the grain in political subreddits that wont ban you for it, it can seriously open up for alot of discussion, and if youre polite, you could even lower the amount,of feminists in the world.
/r/MensRights06/09/17 09:48 AM

Yes, I make the rounds on r/politicalhumour, r/politics and multiple other political subreddits that frequently reach r/all
/r/MensRights06/09/17 09:47 AM
2

Well, then why do you choose to associate yourself with a group that in practice certainly isnt about equality?
/r/MensRights06/09/17 09:45 AM

Or heterophobic, you cant be that either.
/r/MensRights06/09/17 09:44 AM

If you love the child, itll be hard to give up rights to the child, which you may have to, but I would consider fighting this very heavily. If you want, make this massive, go all over social media, open up a whole new front against feminism as a whole, your legal fees will probably be covered by online funds and campaigns for you depending how huge you make this, it will of course give you a huge burden of responsibility, but if you win, which you likely will, you could pull a massive victory no…
/r/MensRights04/09/17 01:15 PM

You need to find your middle ground, for you I would recommend r/menslib based on what youve said. And you also need to be unconfrontational when breaching your echochambers, rather than making statements, ask questions etc. etc.
/r/MensRights04/09/17 12:59 PM
1

Its such bullshit, its the place where you should be allowed to debate feminists, instead you get religiously downvoted for asking questions that disagree with feminism and banned if you respond with anything other than the utmost of asskissing.
/r/MensRights04/09/17 12:56 PM

I hate the fact that askfeminism almost made me fall for their shit and become a mangina til I said I wasnt sexually attracted to women of colour...
/r/MensRights04/09/17 12:54 PM

You are wrong, third wave feminism was never about women of colour gaining equality (which they also had) it was about female supremacy and loss of masculinity. Third wave feminism believes in a boogeyman known as the patriarchy, which is an invisible force perpetuated by masculine existence, things such as spreading your legs because you have balls are examples of patriarchy. Third wave feminism believes that women should be empowered and individually thinking, however if a women disagrees with…

/r/MensRights04/09/17 07:17 AM

The public explanation is that it discriminates against people that grew up without fathers, which is ridiculous, if that truly was the case then they would be campaigning to end mothers day as well, which feminists arent, and they claim to be about equality.
/r/MensRights04/09/17 07:16 AM

Not the best way to insult the MRM apparently
/r/MensRights04/09/17 03:09 AM

I require examples of mysoginistic fuckassery, there are a few retarded incels among us, but otherwise most of us are here for equality.
/r/MensRights04/09/17 03:09 AM
7

The unfortunate part is that if the woman wants it, she can very easily prove the guy "unfit" due to the retarded "guilty until proven innocent" mentality we pit on when its a matter of woman accusing man of harm.
/r/MensRights04/09/17 03:07 AM
2

Unfortunately when posts like this hit r/all quite a few feminists can get away with posting here and gaining Karma... its annoying.
/r/MensRights04/09/17 03:03 AM

"But that would be sexist, because the mother needs help too, its not like she got half of everything you used to own in the divorce, or has a job..."
/r/MensRights04/09/17 03:02 AM

Yes, except of course the feminists that tweeted #endfathersday and possibly the entire third wave, considering what their movement has been doing is making life worse for men when it comes to matters in the family court...
/r/MensRights04/09/17 03:00 AM
37

Hmmm, so lets wonder for a second if the feminists tweeting #endfathersday are sexist...
/r/MensRights04/09/17 02:59 AM
7

Thank you for this, mostly the issues stem from 3rd wave feminism, which still tries to play the victim card now that women have had equal rights for 40+ years, and asks that men have it worse in terms of family court, and in terms of social status.
/r/MensRights04/09/17 02:55 AM

idiot, do you want to be taken seriously?
/r/MensRights04/09/17 02:53 AM

3rd wave and intersectional.
/r/MensRights04/09/17 02:53 AM

No, feminism isnt about equality, it was about removing the traditional roles of women (which it did 40+ years ago) and now its about ensuring that women are better off than men in terms of economy, legal systems and socially.
/r/MensRights04/09/17 02:52 AM

We as community are sick of being ridiculed for the things we make popular, so well be sure to do that.
/r/MensRights04/09/17 02:32 AM

No, I am suggesting that the signage is purposely made this way to discourage men from using the womans room.
/r/MensRights03/09/17 05:58 PM

Its an issue, if you go further into this sub you find we actually do care about real issues, click-bait just gets upvoted.
/r/MensRights03/09/17 05:56 PM
1

Yes, the point is that the Womens room hasnt replaced the female sign on purpose, it is allowed for men to use the womens, it is just heavily discouraged.
/r/MensRights03/09/17 05:55 PM
3

I hate it, this is the biggest enemy we face, not feminism, thats burning itself to the ground, not the alt-right, theyre fucking off, but our own inability to take ourselves seriously.
/r/MensRights03/09/17 05:53 PM
1

Gender only exists when it serves feminism.
/r/MensRights03/09/17 05:52 PM

Except it is discouraged for men to use the female bathroom, an option, but discouraged.

This is true, but so are all subs.

Yet the post still made it pretty far.
/r/MensRights02/09/17 03:08 AM

No, what we need is for this sub to be taken more seriously, all the random bullshit can go on r/cringeanarchy.
/r/MensRights01/09/17 01:25 PM

You sir, are what we really need as a mod, we cant have any random bullshit here, if we want to be taken seriously, we have to start taking ourselves seriously.
/r/MensRights01/09/17 06:39 AM

I'll leave you to decide that.
/r/MensRights30/08/17 05:40 PM

Guy whatshisnam, the one that said that men and women probably dont work too well together in scientific environments.
/r/MensRights30/08/17 05:30 PM

Quick, we need a woman on here to start an r/womenagainstfeminism
/r/MensRights30/08/17 03:24 PM

This hurts me, a nobel prize winner cant get away with a few words, an "aspiring" surgeon can get away with assault, all because of their gender.
/r/MensRights30/08/17 03:14 PM
2

Shitposting is when you build a conversation around humour, humour is when you build humour around a conversation. For example making a joke about cancer to kickstart a conversation around cancer, is shitposting, and will probably not get any serious discussion. Making a joke comment, in the comments section of a post about cancer to lighten the mood on top of the serious discussion is hunour.
/r/MensRights29/08/17 05:47 PM
1

Thatsnot what Im saying, what Im saying is that a meme about it probably isnt the best way to express serious concern about such blatant alienation.
/r/MensRights29/08/17 07:49 AM
0

Humour should have a place here, shitposting shouldnt, r/mensrights and the MRM is a serious movement that tackles serious issues that affect men the world over.
/r/MensRights29/08/17 05:30 AM
2

I am not trying to censor anything, all Im saying is that r/mensrights is a serious subreddit, this is not a serious post, so instead of swearing and making an ass of yourself, how about you go someplace with you 12 year old bullshit thatll actually accept this shitpost.
/r/MensRights29/08/17 05:29 AM

I know what its reffering to, I still think the post is a shitpost that belongs on a meme subreddit, not a serious subreddit.
/r/MensRights28/08/17 05:24 PM

This does not belong on r/mensrights Im sorry to say, this is a serious sub, for serious discussion, not for shitposting.
/r/MensRights28/08/17 04:21 PM

I know, that shithole is probably where feminism finds its leverage in their arguments about toxic masculinity.
/r/MensRights28/08/17 10:34 AM
1

This is correct, I dont know why you got any downvotes, you stated a simple fact, but whatever, I guess there are just still some women haters around here that I havent directed to r/incels yet.
/r/MensRights28/08/17 05:47 AM

Sir, I want you to know that you belong on r/incels or r/fuckwomen not on a sub about equality, goodbye.
/r/MensRights27/08/17 05:39 AM

Yeah, fuck the alt-right and the alt-left all the same.

/r/PussyPassDenied23/08/17 04:51 AM

All of these subs except r/cringeanarchy and that retarded r/incels arent "women-hating" we have a few cucktards in here that hate women, but otherwise most of us respect them, we just know that you are already equal and can shut up about the "patriarchy" cuz it doesnt exist.
/r/PussyPassDenied23/08/17 04:48 AM
1

Oh sorry, I thought you were one of those actual mens chauvinists we get round here every now and again.
/r/MensRights22/08/17 12:49 PM

It is still very relevant, just because the poster was taken down quickly doesnt mean that this idea as a whole isnt, this idea that drunk men are somehow conscious enough to consent where drunk women arent, and though I thank you for pointing this out it is still a very good discussion point, and thus I dont think that it should be defamatory to post this here.
/r/MensRights22/08/17 07:22 AM
1

ah no, see, fuckers like you belong here r/cringeanarchy and here r/incels not on a serious sub about equality.
/r/MensRights22/08/17 07:19 AM
1

That is very reasonable, unfortunately this isnt usually the case, most of the time its simply "the dudes at fault cuz men are pigs"
/r/MensRights22/08/17 07:16 AM
3

Hahaha, thanks for arguing against the image, no seriously, you couldnt have picked a worse image to come and troll on, it just looks pathetic. If you are expecting any reactions beyond downvotes you've got another one coming. Pathetic troll is pathetic.

Umm no, not the majority think that disagreeing with anyone should make them unworthy of being a man But at the same time you are still correct in saying that u/timewarp91589 is doing the whole perpetual victimising thing. How exactly?
/r/MensRights10/08/17 02:54 PM

Male suicide rates compared to female suicide rates, the removal of affirmative action in college because it was increasing the amount of men from 40%, the fact that domestic violence against menis just as widespread as domestic violence against women yet not taken neqrly as seriously, the ironically sexist definition of sexism, "men cant hit women", political correctness, false rape claims, Sweden and a multitude of other things.

I notice that some people here are like that, but I also notice that alot of people here are quite serious about mensrights. And I dont demonise feminists, I hate and fight the very ideology of what feminism has become, I dont demonise Nationalists, I hate and fight the very idea of the alt-right, my hatred has nothing to do with people, rather the ideas.

Thanks for the response, and yes, I know that feminists only need the fuel of "im not a feminist" to slander you into hell, I was just deeply annoyed after the last few top posts in our subreddit had quite a few comments calling us imbeciles for believing the troll conversations and not looking further into the articles.

"baloney version" Nope, this is it, this is what you get, this is the reallest feminism you will find today, please help us tear it to the fucking ground and burn its corpse to ashes.

Just go outside of this sub, no, there isnt, I still have to make a good karmawhoring post before I feel safe enough to discuss feminism outside of this sub.
/r/MensRights07/08/17 04:59 AM

No sir, she is not batshit crazy compared to the rest of feminism.
/r/MensRights07/08/17 04:57 AM

What? Im 14 so I didnt hear about this, can you link me some of those stories? it sounds strange as to why they wouldnt touch it.
/r/MensRights07/08/17 04:57 AM
1

Please, give me a link to this, its hard for me to tell if it is real in this day and age, where some feminists are actually dense enogh to believe that they are exempt from doing dishes because "I am a grown WOMAN" and where some trolls like to post shit like this, in an attempt to discredit feminism.
/r/PussyPassDenied06/08/17 10:19 AM
3

Yes it does, feminism is basically women expecting more privileges than men, while expecting to do none of the work.
/r/PussyPassDenied06/08/17 10:17 AM
3

No, we just think feminism is retarded because women already fucking have equal rights, but instead of being all serious, we like to satirise it.
/r/PussyPassDenied06/08/17 10:15 AM

Of course, she is a feminist, she doesnt know who the economy expects to assist its growth.

/r/MensRights03/08/17 01:00 PM

Its because most women arent actually interested in war films, feminists just see it as another bullshit complaint point.
/r/MensRights30/07/17 02:12 PM
1

No, everyone has equal rights, I dont believe in biological equality because that is simple bioligy, but I believe in human equality. You sir, are the reason feminism exists, because actual sexist bastards like you make them feel the need to exist.
/r/MensRights16/07/17 05:19 AM

yes, but intimate partner violence usually speaks about women.

So I was playing around with a website which wracks the entirety of wikipedia for similar or closely related articles (by name) to what you search in one of its search functions (degreesofwikipedia), and I was using it to see how close feminism was linked to Domestic violence against men when this showed up. I found the way it was worded pretty funny, so I guess this is just a bit of a shit post in ways.

Well, such is the stereotypical feminist, acting like these arent the real feminists is like acting as if the Soviets werent the real communists, or the Nazis werent the real fascists.

Look at the double-standards on men, the irrational hatred there is for us because we have penises. Look at some other things on this subreddit. I know first hand what it feels like to be hated by a woman that called herself a feminist, I wasnt close to her, I wasnt looking at her, and she still yelled out that she was being sexually harassed when we made eye-contact while looking around, I was forced out of that pharmacy by a mob of cunts and white knights that came to her rescue...

A feminists reaction to this: "OH MY GOODNESS HOW DARE YOU SEND WOMEN TO WAR WITHOUT GIVING THEM THE CHOICE! ACTUALLY YOU SHOULDNT LET THEM GO TO WAR EVEN IF THEY CHOOSE TO DO SO! ITS UNSAFE AND SEXIST!" A feminists reaction to an increase in female CEOs: "This is a step towards equality, but we arent there yet, lets abolish the boy scouts."

I'm stunned, its so fucking retarded, and it hurts. As a man I am almost immediately judged before I am met, people call for my death, without knowing, I thank whatever higher power you may or may not believe in that this movement isnt in the government yet.

Muhammad was a conqueror, Muhammad was a Moses equivalent, a general of god. But instead of god doing what he did in the bible and killing all the firstborn of an entire nation (Quite a bit worse than Muhammad) Muhammad was on his own, to unite the arab peoples with a tribal army already used to pillaging and raping their enemies before the arrival of Muhammad.

Now explain to me, has there been any accounts of 4 christians being threatened to come back to their religion? Probably not, especially from a newspaper in a majority christian western nation. Yes the KKK havent done much recently, but there also hasnt been major instability in the US recently either. The KKK were at their height following the civil war. there have been many recent wars, especially in affected areas (Iraq, Syria), causing this extreme type of islam to arise. I can refer to anot…

Cant say I've heard of any ex-muslims being in fear for their lives. Also, christians do actually murder many gays, it just tends to be ignored by themedia, which likes to focus on what gets them support, in todays time, muslims and how "scary" they are. Poor muslims, really though? Or are they just interpreting the quran differently than our western literal view? Also, to counter the "every terrorist is muslim" argument, do you consider the KKK to be christian? If you do then I fully understand…

What you just described is what most muslims consider the "Idiots". We will go through your argument point by point. Violence against non-believers: While yes, the quran does say "fuck non-muslims" I have many muslim friends that know I am an atheist and are completely fine with it. (And anyway the second commandment of the bible literally states you have to believe in god, or you will go to hell) Violence against those that leave the religion: Once again the quran says "Fuck quitters" and once …

Im 13, last year I had a teacher who gave girls better grades for the same amount of work and gave boys detention when the whole class was causing noise. And because I couldnt just skip school, there was nothing I could do, she hated boys with a passion. It ended with a period of minor depression and an almost failed grade.
