OYS - Where Progress is Made (04/22/20)Yes, unless you are a top tier male, dating apps are essentially broken. Easy to complain about, but it's a reality of life. Tough for many men because it becomes something you need to do instead of something you want to do. Exactly. That's a very good idea on incorperating commentary after reading the bible since I love wrestiling with intellectual/difficult ideas. I haven't done that yet, mostly out of laziness. | 2 | How do I pray?Good points. I think the one of the root issues for me is that my mind is so cluttered with media. Unsurprisingly, things start to clear when I pull away from the media. Currently, I literally do not make time to think during the day and when I try to think or pray my brain is zapped. I've known this is a serious problem for a long time, but I never had enough motivation to really change it. Looks like God was right all along (Psalm 1:2) It's time to drastically cut the cell phone and media use. | /r/RPChristians | 24/02/19 10:46 PM
How do I pray? When you pray, do you begin with silence? I think the problem is that I don't really listen to God, I just "strut in" and begin with things that are problems in my life. Evangelism can be intimidating and give you the impression you have to go preach to the masses on the street corner. It’s speaking your faith where you are, when you are. Easier said than done, though. Good point. Good. This is key to growth. Try meeting up with one guy from the group o… | /r/RPChristians | 05/12/18 11:31 PM
OYS - Where Progress is Made (12/05/18)I think it's a good start. Now you'll need to get specific on how you plan to encourage and develop them, in what areas specifically, and what metrics you'll use to gauge their progress. Those are harder to answer. Gonna have to think on that one. This is good. What kind of injury? How soon before you can get back in the gym? Nonetheless, you're doing something and that's certainly better than nothing. | 1 | OYS - Where Progress is Made (11/28/18)OYS #1 Stats & Background 26, Single, 6ft, 177lb ish. I discovered RP several years ago but never figured how it could be reconciled with Christian theology. I discovered RPCs this year. Grew up Christian, but recently have become much more serious about my faith. Blue pilled my whole life. Current second-year MSW (Master of Social Work) student and trying to avoid being indoctrinated. Life Mission I’m realizing how critical this is, but it is still very fuzzy. I need to pray about this. Have Re… | /r/RPChristians | 01/12/18 03:17 AM
Would anybody be interested in an official quality audio recording of the sidebar posts?Yes! I've been listening to them on my phone through the Tell Me android app. I would love a recorded version as I am realizing that I am a huge verbal learner. | /r/RPChristians | 15/11/18 12:43 AM
Online dating apps?I'm not against them, but they're a cheap way of finding people. It takes away your ability to demonstrate confidence in the approach. It also guarantees you find someone who is more controlled by hypergamy than not - because those apps are 100% endorsements for hypergamy. "100% endorsement for hypergamy" - agreed Depends on whether you want to bait-and-switch her or not. If you want to trick her into dating you, go for it - and then break up immediately when you find out she's not a Christian e… | /r/RPChristians | 15/11/18 12:41 AM
Intro + questionThanks. I needed to hear that. I'll get my butt moving. | /r/RPChristians | 01/11/18 09:45 PM
Intro + questionIf you're not excited about it, that's probably a decent indicator that you don't want to be pursuing a relationship. Do you want to marry someone who's half-hearted about you? Vice versa? Nope. I guess I have to keep raising my SMV and actually praying to God to make me a better man and (hopefully) future husband. | /r/RPChristians | 01/11/18 09:44 PM
Intro + questionAre you just picking the low hanging fruit out of convenience? I think you nailed it. Most importantly, have you earnestly prayed about this? I'm guessing the answers point to this being a NO as stated above. Guilty as charged. | /r/RPChristians | 01/11/18 09:41 PM
Intro + questionFigure out what Christ wants your mission to be first. You're right. She's obviously not crazy hot, or else the physical attraction front would already be ringing bells everywhere. That's the thing. She is not crazy hot, but not physically unattractive either. She just doesn't get my gears going, so to speak. I think I am trying to manufacture attraction that isn't there, because of my desire for a relationship. saying this in-between state is confusing and frustrating Translation: "I want someo… | /r/RPChristians | 01/11/18 09:39 PM
Intro + questionOooof. That's what I needed to hear. I operated on the scarcity mentality for so long, it's takes a lot of effort to operate out of aframe of abundance. | /r/RPChristians | 01/11/18 09:29 PM
Intro + questionI can definitely step up my ability to create attraction. Gotta keep practicing. Thanks for the advice. | /r/RPChristians | 01/11/18 09:26 PM
Suitable Mates in ChurchI am struggling with being impatient too. However, God sent Abraham's servant a long way to find his son a match, I believe God like a good father loves to bless us and honor our requests (but often not how we envision tho) when we increasingly trust in him and desire his ways (Proverbs 3:5-6). | /r/RPChristians | 14/06/18 04:32 PM
What is the actual danger? In college, I was taught the let's meet for a meal once a week and talk about our lives (but not in too much depth) for an hour or so model of discipleship. This is a radical shift in my worldview. God Bless you man. | /r/RPChristians | 10/02/18 01:03 AM
Purity questionThanks for the response. I'm still learning the basics of non-feminized Christianity and the RP. | /r/RPChristians | 04/02/18 03:09 AM

The story of a Beta-Christian boy, and the questions that still trouble me...Yeah thanks man it was really helpful. I'm still trying to figure out what I believe post-red pill (still definitely a Christian) I can say the misinformation and blue-pilling of society and especially the church is really frustrating We gotta trust God and keep pressing forward! | /r/TheRedPill | 04/09/16 11:02 PM
The story of a Beta-Christian boy, and the questions that still trouble me...OP, I feel your pain. I was a good little Christian beta-boy until a few months ago. I was 23, single, (never went on a date or kissed a girl) waiting for my little angel to appear so we could happily live a married life. However, I just like, you discovered TRP and it upended my worldview. I understood that most of scripture/the Christian life is RP based, but I was having trouble reconciling sex outside of marriage. It is still something that I need to think and pray about, but my mind is 99% … | /r/TheRedPill | 16/08/16 02:07 AM
