You need some kind of degree to teach (in most countries), doesn't have to be English. For other jobs it is more difficult. What skills can you bring to the table that the locals can't? Whatever it is, if you are good at it and have a special talent that is rare, you can do it abroad.

To answer your question, my expertise is in ESL, but there are a lot of ways to skin a cat. I'm hoping people will jump in here with alternatives rather than me trying to talk too much about stuff I'm not as versed in. If anyone has alternative methods I'd love to hear from you, and even offer you some possible collaborative writing opportunities for the book I'm working on.

I've never walked around with a black face, so I won't pretend to really know what I'm talking about. But from black friends I have heard that Asians tend to look down their noses at you a little more, particularly in far east Asia (Korea, Japan, etc). South East Asians are a bit more humble and tolerant I feel like. But the fact is that the stereotype on the ground is that whitey is rich and blacks are not. However, like the poster said below, coming off as American will probably override anyth…

I've stayed in hostels with 60+ year olds. Though usually they book the private room, and usually it is a little awkward having them there. Still, you are never to old to do what the fuck you want to do man.

Your post illuminated this fact that I've simply done naturally and paid little notice to before. Yeah I never realized how important the first day walk was until I skipped it, and it changed the whole nature and tone of the trip to way worse. Walking is so great, it deserves a post on its own. It always shatters my anxiety, lifts my mood, and often has me Forest Gumping my way into interesting situations and opportunities.

Maybe it's just me, but I really want to go against the grain and say maybe don't drink before a flight. Oh yeah man, unless you have a nervous problem I say you are definitely better off staying sober and arriving fresh. One time I was so scared on a trans pacific flight I drank a whole bottle of wine and passed out, in the middle of the row where I couldn't easily get to the bathroom. That was a fun 12 hours. Walking eight hours sounds like a great idea. OP your posts actually encouraged me to…

Yeah, I sometimes feel like having a smart phone can be distracting and stuff, but I'm sort of out of touch with newer tech at this point. Walking around trying to deal with a paper map is just as bad, haha.

I usually try not to cruise people's post history when in an argument, because SO many people do it to me when I'm in the wild. "Oh? You think the women's march and wearing vagina hats are stupid? Go back to redpill!" Haha. But this particular case is pretty interesting. From what I can gather it looks like a chick whose husband might have divorced her and gone mgtow or something. Can't upvote this enough. It is fucking terrifying seeing how little the current generation seems to care about the quintessential right of free expression. Just today I saw the Nazi pug guy got convicted. They are going to put the dude in a FUCKING CAGE, for making an edgy video with an off color joke, no worse in nature than the content of the famous movie "The Producers". It is a scary time to be a free thinker.

Can confirm. The thing about crazy women is that they are easy to fall in love with. They are exciting, thrilling, emotional, hot and cold, brilliant, often artistic, deep, poetic creatures. Which is why they will absolutely RUIN YOUR LIFE. Take it from an older guy, if you absolutely must be in a long term relationship, a boring, stable woman is going to be your best bet. Once you sort of embrace it it's not so bad, man. There are all sort of horrifying things about life. For example, you die and then are gone for infinity. People have been building elaborate lies to try and avoid thinking about this since the dawn of time. It is a very human thing to recoil from all this. Which is why redpill needs to exist. Not everyone wants to happily ignore this shit. It definitely isn't for everyone though.

Who will hire a 35 year old with no skills? There are a lot of jobs in my town that can't find enough people to do the work. But the work is hard and not glamourous. Why can't the woman just go be a janitor? There are unskilled janitor positions in my town that pay 25k a year starting out.

It has nothing to do with being able to kick someone's ass or not dude. You misunderstand what I mean by "soft" I think. Money is power, but it is only power as long as a bunch of people agree it is valuable. Money is imaginary. It is a shortcut we use, through reliance on other people, to trade resources. If you've never killed an animal, but just traded in money for hamburgers your whole life, there is something quintessential and character building that you are missing out on. I'm suggesting …

This is fair criticism. My post works in broad generalizations because there really isn't any other way to approach the discussion (without using broad strokes I mean). You are right that I should have compared an affluent country dweller to the affluent NYer. But the fact is there are very few affluent country dwellers, at least in my experience. This was a really poor attempt at trying to portray liberals as weak and conservatives as strong. If you disagree with this then you are kind of in the wrong subreddit. Please note that I do not support Trump the man. I think he is an idiot. However, I do support conservative policies, and I think most people on here do as well.

It is a generalization attempting to understand a factual, data based observation about the world. Cities are left and countryside is right leaning. Totally open to other interpretations of why, but the fact of political leaning really isn't debatable. This is just my attempt to understand it and is not necessarily the only factor contributing.

So, you are basing your entire counter on personal experience? Fine, but don't act like that rips apart my argument. It isn't about feeling superior, it is about looking at the difference between the two tribes in our society. Even a person affluent by small town standards doesn't have access to half of the services, luxuries, and support that an average city dweller has. Can't agree, the media has not suddenly moved to NYC and become liberal overnight; A common misunderstanding. "The media" is not a monolith controlled by a handful of Jews or anything so conspiratorial, rather it is a social class. I never made the connection but you are right. Gangsters are attractive in part because they are base, and understand the base needs in a way others can't. Also agree on the parenting part. You need a purpose. I know that isn't real advice, but it helps to think about. Write down ten things you want to do in your life. It sounds like you are engaged in a rat race that you have no interest in. Why? So you can live in a big house? I don't know you, but you sound like you should start a business involving something you care about. Look at your job as a way to save up enough money to do that. I admit that it might be possible to become enfranchised again, in some places and situations, after a felony. However, reality is on my side here "In the national elections 2012, all the various state felony disenfranchisement laws added together blocked an estimated 5.85 million felons from voting, up from 1.2 million in 1976. This comprised 2.5% of the potential voters in general; and included 8% of the potential African-American voters. The state with the highest number of disenfranchised vo…

I'm not wrong about it. If you don't register, you can't vote for the whole time you are in jail. Ok, you are right that in some places you can get out of jail, five years later, completely bankrupt, a convicted felon, and then go try and re register to vote. Are you happy? Do you think that this tiny pedantic correction changes anything? If so you are entirely missing the point.
/r/TheRedPill06/12/16 12:23 AM
1

Ok, try not registering and see how that works out for you. Let me know if you still feel like you have a voice. "Failing to register or comply with the Military Selective Service Act is a felony punishable by a fine of up to $250,000 or a prison term of up to five years, or a combination of both."
/r/TheRedPill05/12/16 08:43 PM

Sure, some places might deign to let you, but the laws are designed to disenfranchise men who shirk their duty. They will give you some loop holes and say that that isn't why they are there, but the result is still the same. No card = no vote 99% of the time.

Also, the incredulous, holier-than-thou way you are expressing what, let's face it, are just your emotional opinions (not saying many of mine aren't, but at least I'm civil) is starting to grate on me a bit. That said, I would actual…

Thanks for the comment. It is obvious you are looking at the world through a very different lens than I am, so let me see if I can address the main difference in your world view with some facts and statistics. This is a carefully selected list of figures that I use anytime someone says "Prove that men have it worse" Tell me right now in the most concise terms you can muster, in a list, what is it that women have on men in this regard? Exception from military drafts, favor in custody rulings, and…

Failure to register is a felony (for men). Felons cannot vote. Thus, one must register to vote, if male.

Yes, society lies to everyone. We are here to discuss the lies that affect men and to try and educate men to the point where they can see through them. This is pretty much the whole meaning behind "red pill".

Thanks for your comment. effectively subhuman This is a huge leap to make. From being protected, taken care of, and controlled to being subhuman? Does that mean that every child is subhuman? Does that mean, if my wife obeys me and supports me that she is "Basically subhuman"? Seems a big reach to me. arguments of inequality as myth. I never said they were a myth. I tend to blame feminist but then, that begs the question, who empowers the feminists and makes their philosophy so central in our culture?

That means a lot. I've enjoyed this community for a long time but have only recently had the courage to start writing stuff directly aimed at the subreddit. It makes me glad to hear it is well-received. Cheers.

Yeah, it is funny when feminists decry patriarchy when patriarchy = civilization. Why don't they just go back and live in mud huts? Oh right, there are bugs and shit out there....

True, but you can also put 1000 hours into trying to do something and not get the result that you wanted. You don't deserve the result, but yeah, putting the time in is the only way you get to even roll the damn dice. Thanks for the comment.

It comes down to risk vs reward. Not what is right or wrong. Agreed 100 %. The point is, the goalposts are fucking buried beneath a big pile of well meaning bullshit. Realizing then that risk vs reward is all it is about becomes powerful. Still, there is something to be said for just being a good person because it is it's own reward. But you won't build, conquer, or discover much in that way.

Good point. The difference is that as a Redpill enlightened man you are giving value. By being masculine and dominate and all of those things, you are fulfilling the HOT factor that women want. You are earning rather than just "deserving". Thanks for your comment.

Interesting take. I think it boils down to the fact that people are willing to trade freedom for safety 9 out of 10 times. I mean the 99% can't be held back by the 1% without this trade off happening. Security necessitates control. Women have been trading freedom for security for all of human history, and then turn around in the past 20 years and claim that it was against their wills the whole time. That's what bugs me I guess. Thoughts?

It is just strange to me that 50% of the population would, for all of history, be unable to mount any resistance to this. They were either A) unwilling or B) incompetent. I reject the idea that men were just too evil and powerful to let them.

The same reason people tell you that when you die you spend eternity prancing on clouds with your loved ones. The truth of rotting in the ground and an eternal abyss of nothing is too painful for the human mind to dwell on, so we sugarcoat the shit until we actually believe it.

Because men are the experimental gender. A woman can just exist and will end up reproducing based on her intrinsic reproductive value. Men, on the other hand, have to try all sorts of things. Women might not be climbing over themselves to fuck the betas out there, but these gentle, feminist men do often marry and reproduce (maybe). The softness of the world that men have now wrought allows for the survival of even the weakest link. If you went back five hundred years in history, however, I doubt…

Asking someone to listen to women just because they are women isn't treating women as fellow human beings, it is treating them special. People don't automatically listen to me because I have a penis...and there is no popular movement in society to force them to. I have to earn whatever respect I get, and so should women if they want to be truly equal.

This is one thing that never ceases to piss me off. Take a lonely single male office worker, who is a bit chubby and going bald. If this guy checks into a hotel, and orders up a prostitute, people will act like he is THE SCUM OF THE EARTH. If his fellow office workers found out he did this he would probably be fired and ostracized and maybe even face some criminal charges. Meanwhile, a woman who marries for money, divorce rapes her husband, or uses sex to get an upper hand is considered "empower…

You bring up a good point. A lot of guys are just naturally saavy or strong enough to avoid these pitfalls. But, a lot of us fall into the traps of liberal education, that will have you believing that your typical white male is literally a Hitler baby-rapist, and should bow and grovel for forgiveness to every female he meets. Other guys don't learn until they see their girl ask for "space" and find her on the back of some guy's Harley three days later. Some never learn I need redpill because....…

If he successfully fuck his girlfriend it means that she cares more about getting strange dick than she cares about love, commitment, honesty, vows, decency. She isn't a victim, she isn't an object. She is a subject, an actor, she is responsible for her choices. Ya my comment is not about her in any way/shape/form. She is a cunt who will do what cunts do. The guy, however, is innocent. She is not treating him with respect, but it doesn't mean you have the right to disrespect him as well.

In my opinion, that is a shitty thing to do in 99% of cases. Men who trip over each other to get at a piece of gash are worsening a society that is already anti-male, hostile to males, and doesn't give a fuck about male problems. You are buying into the idea that pussy is more important than brotherhood and that is, in my opinion, exactly what this feminized culture wants you to think.

The worst is when, in my bluepill days, I'd go up to a girl at a bar. I'd ask her name and about her interests, say nice to meet you and walk away. Later she would tell my friends I was "creepy". I really had no idea what was going on at the time. Women truly objectify men more than vice versa, in that, if you are not an attractive male you are not even worth being civil towards.

Why the fuck do people go on and on about how the "friend zone doesn't exist". I swear I see a post about it every week. Either the chick or white knight is saying "There is no such thing as the friend zone." or, "If you think you deserve sex for being a nice guy, you aren't a nice guy." Etc. Etc. Fact: The friend zone exists. Friendzone (n) fuh-rind-zone, a relationship formed when a woman seeks to use a weak-willed man by keeping him just at arms length. This kind of makes me furious. If you talk to feminists about their perceived "oppression" one of the biggest things they come up with is how fragile women's internet inboxes are always filled with "creepy" PMs. This is once again proof that "creepy" is such a bullshit word. When a good looking guy is aggressive and pervy it is hot shit. But when an ugly guy does it he is a disgusting creep who belongs on a sex criminal list for promoting the patriarchal oppression of women.
