I’m not going to disagree with your first sentence, but blindly quoting that data is just stupid. The average age of American millionaires is 62. 1% is below 35. ”Anyone” can become a millionaire, given enough time to save up. It doesn’t take more than a 9-5 with a somewhat frugal lifestyle. At least with the way the markets have moved for the last half a century. The point was that not being a startup billionaire at 28 doesn’t mean you’re a failure and it’s all your fault. Your life is in your …

Right, my question was never about your academic background. First, ”you guys” assumes I’m part of a group that you can easily disregard based on general observations. No one said I was, I’m just taking a stance that isn’t yours. Secondly, I’m asking why you’re in /r/purplepilldebate when you claim you refuse to respect or acknowledge the arguments RP guys make. No one is helped by you just insulting the other side(’s arguments), not you, not anyone else.

Why are you here then? I’d say the primary attribute of a good debate is taking the other side somewhat seriously. You’re not going to convince anyone through that comment anyway. I’d make the case TRP has always been about men finding others sharing similar experiences and drawing (cynical, if you will) conclusions from it - thus not framing it around yourself, quite the opposite. It’s an awakening, realizing you’re not alone etc. Which is why it’s had such a big draw, many (men) seek community…

You/your in a reply to your comment doesn’t have to mean you personally. It didn’t in this case. I think that’s something you’re expected to grasp in what, middle school? So you took something that wasn’t meant to be personal personally. I didn’t write anything disrespectful, you chose to interpret it as such. I’m not gaslighting, you’re sensitive. You can’t throw around big words like abuse and expect to be taken seriously. The problem with using a term like gaslighting is that everything I wri…

Holy fuck man, chill. I now went out of my way to offer an alternative view, which happened to be the one you originally intended - I was even prepared to apologize even though I don’t think my first interpretation was ill-minded - and you’re still pissed? I am clearly not the problem here. Making a small logical mistake -> waking the dragon of fury up? Yeah, reasonable. Good luck in life, you’ll clearly need it

I guess I can see you being annoyed by that word only, not what it symbolizes. You could think the “ownership” part is the bad one, and given the history of women’s status in society and the age we live in that kind of sensitivity isn’t unheard of. But I believe it still conveys an important message, in that you shouldn’t get involved - “she’s busy” might be better, I suppose.

Alrighty! Where to begin... I don’t think I put words in your mouth; possibly I overdid the interpretation and use of - what I would consider - synonyms. One can only do so much with such few characters, yet I did feel I could read between the lines. Taken - stealen - up for grabs - they’re all similar enough to me, if that was the part you were pissed at. I did ramble for a bit in general terms but we’re all adults here, right? A reply to your comment isn’t always only a reply to you. I won’t t…

Well, that's more to signify that someone's not up for grabs. Even if you wouldn't call it "stealing", going out of your way to get with someone who's (seemingly happy) in a relationship is widely regarded as a shitty move. Plus it goes against the idea of plenty of fish in the sea, that no one's special, and, yes, that no one belongs to anyone. She doesn't belong to her bf, no, but she doesn't belong to you either. Have some integrity, go somewhere else and wait that shit out. The world doesn't…

Goes both ways then. Self-reinforced? If you know you’re attractive, you will act like it, and if you ”act” attractive, aka more picky, you’re percieved as more attractive. And on the gene-pool game goes
/r/PurplePillDebate27/11/20 05:04 PM

Physical attraction? If the raters know of the n-count and take it into account it's fairly obvious there is a correlation between those two, with the cause being the n-count influencing attraction. Because of the whole virgin/untouched thing (plus the more rational thought of being with someone who is more likely to be loyal i.e. low n-count)
/r/PurplePillDebate27/11/20 04:55 PM

I think the above point states that, yeah, he can trust you, but not trust that your long term attraction will remain solid. That’s essentially out of your control. So he does best in hiding it.

To add to this, I don't think getting laid a lot is really the desire here - it's being the kind of man who is able to do so should he please. Essentially being attractive/able to attract. It's based on social recognition and acceptance rather than getting to a certain number or really getting anywhere. Feeling like when you walk into a room, you're the shit. To touch on OP's question: I think this feeling also helps a marriage because both the vibe you give off with this feeling as well as know…

Jesus. Wake up. The median American family isn’t getting wealthier. You gotta stop mixing capitalism and non-progressive tax systems together, it’s not helping anyone getting their salary from labour - in the end not the owners either. A state with effective (non wasting) welfare systems - i.e. not the US - isn’t socialist. Look up the French revolution, or the Russian. When owners take too much of the cake, it ends badly. If you hate socialism, make reforms that move money from the upper layers…

I think what was meant in the reply was the purpose of that kind of societal arrangement wasn’t explicitly to keep women down. Patriarchy as it’s described today isn’t an invention, purposely put in place by men, it’s a tradition which has been ongoing for millennia (inb4 ”butwhatabout matriarchy in some cultures”). Because men could because they were physically stronger? Sure. But most importantly because this kind of arrangement has meant better offspring survival. Our brains are literally wir…

Right. Why aren’t romantic movies marketed for men? Not macho? Not aligned with the gender roles? Ok. Why is that? Why do gender roles exist? Where do they come from?
/r/PurplePillDebate19/10/20 07:00 PM

Eh. It would never have been celebrated as probably the most romantic movie ever, or celebrated at all, had the gender roles been reversed. It’s not that it doesn’t happen, it’s just that when women do it there tends to be a societal justification/apologetic attitude towards it.

Like the others have said - he was the first guy to tell her he wouldn't have it and who she actually listened to. She must have heard many guys tell her that before, but she chose her "lifestyle" over their wants. Now this guy comes along and she listens because "he's a god". Wait three months when that spell is gone and her brain starts to wonder where all that fresh serotonin and dopamine went. No man can be expected to fix that kind of organ failure.

It might not be sociopathic (so many are doing it anyways so who cares) but it is absolutely not about compatability. That’s a bullshit excuse for breaking up. If a girl gets bored in an LTR she will claim differences between them just to not have to admit she’s so shallow she’d much rather fuck the guy next door than remain in a stable relationship - just to feel something. And she will also claim she’s super compatible with new guy after a week. And on the ferris wheel she goes, the park is op…

I’d say taking TRP literally in an LTR is much worse for the longevity (often but not necessarily the success) of the relationship. You can’t do mind games for years. You have to find a girl with good values who sees the world in a similar way. Keep your shit together, chin up, don’t lose yourself into her. A relationship where the girl doesn’t know how you actually see her because you try to play her as a plate will never bring happiness nor value to your life

Old one was removed, see my edit Ah, see that's the culprit right there. She knows she's a "10" (don't exist in my eyes) and she'll use that every second of her life. "10's" do come around (and more than that) for attractive guys, she's no exception. So if you feel she's so special, it means you aren't used to that attention. She can smell that from miles away (yes, even 19-yearolds). The best you can do for your chances is back off, she knows what you want already so introduce some mystery. She…

The reason the other ones are so straight to the point and brash is because it wasn't a "fuck yes" from her nor even her just following your steps (reciprocating). That doesn't necessarily mean "fuck no" or that she won't ever want it; however, because you don't want to waste time on any woman (orbiting), the odds are that it's better to just move on. There are plenty of potential reasons for why she's acting this way - the point is that it isn't worth dwelling over. There are also plenty of pot…

I might be naive and living out my ego but I agree. The most intelligent man on earth is not the most confident or the greatest casanova, but he knows his place in this world. The reason guys who stumble upon TRP stay is not unintelligence but rather that they haven't themselves figured out the world they live in, don't know who they are in relation to it and how to get the most out of it.

I'm no brain scientist, but to my understanding memory is helped immensely by using categorisation and multi sensory stimulation. So having pre-made "boxes" to put what you have to remember in is a lot more efficient. Also transforming what you need to remember into a single visualisation is very helpful. When I'm in a situation when I can't write things down and really have to remember a few things for later I start to imagine me coming home standing in the hallway, then I try to combine people…

That's some real broscience man. You should listen to the skin cancer ninnies. It's the cancer type which is increasing the fastest in many western countries, much thanks to this kind of thinking. I can agree that its worth it if it increases your SMV dramatically (plus the vitamin D of course), but I'd still wear sunscreen and be fucking careful. It's not fun getting a death sentence when you're 40.

No. That is not true. I have read the entire sidebar, been browsing for over a year and I understand Red Pill concepts fully. Don't come with that shit after ONE asktrp post. What the question was here was really whether or not stoicism can actually be applied to TRP, and I had the definition wrong, which fucked up my thinking. You have to be a god damn naive if you think you can make that kind of judgement with that little insight.

.1. Identity politics. 2. It was a generalization. 3. The point was for all shit people get in life, they put all the blame on one fact; that they are oppressed in one way or another. Lastly, Alan Turing was an incredible human but that last part was so fucking uncalled for.

Use self defence when necessary, use your gains properly when needed. In all other cases, stay away from violence. The problem is that unless you don't have any hard proof (like in the video), it's her word against yours and most of the time, you will be the one convicted. There's very little you can do about this, but if you accept the fact and act accordingly you will at least avoid going through the system. The question is whether they are just using muscles as a symbol for something else that they actually think is attractive. Even if a woman says she likes muscles, doesn't necessarily mean that she likes the way they look in the same way a guy likes a woman's body.

This is what I've felt was the last piece of the puzzle. Why some women, although a minority, don't behave the way I would expect them to. Because I'm still very young, I see it a lot. Thanks man, this will really help me understand a lot more.

You totally misinterpret the context. It's not about understanding what he told me, because words are obviously the foundation of communication. I can get told by a voice even if I'm blind to go get a sandwich, but it will be more difficult for a mute person to explain it to me. Communication in this sense is how non-verbal communication amplify verbal communication, and the percentage of that. Why don't pickup lines work? I totally believe in body language and non-verbal communication in general to be an enormous part. It should also be noted that unconscious communication and conscious communication differs, and that non-verbal communication often is consciously controlled. What I don't know is the stats, but you're probably right, they don't really matter as long as you keep track of your experience.

Iceland is probably nationalistic in the sense of everyone being related and such, but as far as I know they aren't a generally racist people such as Hungary. Since the country is built upon tourism and fishing they're used to seeing other people so to speak. While I'd personelly never vote for SD, I can't get my head around why the other liberal parties can't understand that the reason more and more people vote for SD is because they don't like the immigration policy. Instead of trying to convince people it's good or actually proposing changes to it to give people what they want, they just ignore them and call them stupid. Which is incredibly dumb because they aren't increasing their own chances of getting votes.

Swede here. It's fucking horrible. Both the accusations of being racist you get when only questioning our immigration policy, which I actually (probably because I'm brainwashed) believe is decent, but also the non-tolerance from almost everyone when you question feminism. Or the red pill has flaws. I am a true believer, and this is the only part I cannot get my head around. People aren't fucking around. They are getting married at 22. It isn't like that, as in the guy is not a patriarch. He's on the right terms with people but he is not alpha because he is not a group leader. He's great in school in the subjects that people in my class see as smart. But his social life is far from broad. He studies, then he plays FIFA and practices soccer a few times a week. That…

I know both of them, it isn't like that. There's also not only their relationship but others to where the guys are nice and can socialize and all but they are not leaders. To describe them as such would be wrong. And yes, it might be that it is a perceived view, that they are insanely alpha with them, but then the whole red pill - social acceptance - every girl wants to fuck him - is demolished. I am a fucking clown. A bit too much, and I laugh way too much, although I make others laugh too, and my humor is usually cocky and I cross limits others don't ("can't believe he said that"). Thing is, I fail being that way with everyone. If I could apply my real, extrovert personality onto all parts of my life, that'd be great. That's one way of living, an incredibly simple which I'm not ready to go through with yet. I am perfectly convinced (by society?) that people around me with high SMV and that have earned respect from countless of people around them did so through another view on their own life. So my question still stands, how do I live my life to gain respect (without becoming autistic and a hermit, which is how most people did not earn it). 20% of men fucks 80% of women, so who are those 20%? One thing I always get stuck with in TRP is this always get respect from others-thing. Obviously, if men respect you, then women will most likely too. But how do you go from not being that respected to being respected in your social circles? Walking with your head high and never looking at the ground will help you but it isn't enough. Having a good lifestyle and lifting will do the same, but what is that last piece of the puzzle? How do you really evolve into a high SMV man? (Aka how do you get …
