You didn't use the term hypergamy, but you alluded to the concept multiple times. You didn't use the term ghosted, I am paraphrasing. Exact comment below: In response to another user saying if you're attractive and the other person is more interested beyond fucking you. Which if you're ugly as hell once they get sex they'll ditch and they'll ditch if it's a long game. Loneliness isn't cured. You said That’s not a bad deal lol. You don’t know how she would feel in that instance. It’s funny bc lon…

Oh hey thanks! I know that usually I can't change these folks minds, but it's important to me to perform public debunking of organized misinformation to prevent vulnerable folks from becoming indoctrinated. I often wonder if anyone other than me and the person I argue with are reading, so this was a very validating comment from you. Thanks so much! And I agree, regardless of identity, wrong is wrong.

way to avoid addressing the point of the comment you responded to. You aren't answering questions posed to you. why do the rp coaches teach that: -less than 5% of women are decent human beings -women are incapable of love for a man -women only are with men for resources -relationships are transactional -women are relplaceable and worthless after 30 -women should be under the mans thumb or thrown out -mentally abusing the woman will make her stay -if shes had sex shes a whore -if she hasnt had se…

Your definition of RedPill here did not include references to masculinity, but you say previously that masculinity is it's whole point. Kind of a mismatch there bro. But manipulation is to be expected from a redpiller. Now go reply to my other comments, or don't expect further replies from me in this thread.

Op's given definition for RedPill in their comment history is much worse and more telling than the sweetened up version they are giving here. From their post history: Being LGBT goes against being red pill. The whole point of red pill is to preserve masculinity. So turning into a woman is like the complete opposite.

It's a series of arguments that describe women as hypergamistic and say that men are to be split into categories according to desirability. Alpha/Chads and Beta/Cucks. It espouses Pickup-artist-game techniques to attract women, and demeaning techniques to keep them in a relationship. This is an incomplete definition, because even RedPillers themselves disagree on any consistent definition. If you'd like a book on the topic, read https://www.amazon.com/Red-Pill-Ideology-Wrapping-Manosphere-ebook/…

It is NOT an accident that in the USA people have the dating preferences they have versus elsewhere. This is meant to imply something, but it is not clear. Please elaborate. It sounds vaguely conspiratorial.

Don't be a way you don't like to be just to get a date. Don't worry about "most women." There are relationships of all types, don't let anyone tell you the way it should be. As long as both parties respect each other and the dynamics are healthy, it can be any flavor you like. Have a good day, I think we've reached a logical conclusion.
/r/ExRedPill15/09/22 04:15 PM

If the red pill helps with this, and you've followed it, why aren't you succeeding? Spoiler: The red pill doesn't help.

It's good to be assertive in social situations, but not aggressive. It's good to be decisive in social situations, but flexible to feedback given. It's important to unpack what "Take charge" means. People don't want to be bossed around, but they do want others to be direct and forthright with them.
/r/ExRedPill15/09/22 04:08 PM
1

You can say you don't discredit what I have to say, but it's what you're actively doing with most responses. If you have questions, I'm happy to discuss with you as long as they are not of a personal nature. If weightlifting interferes with therapy, do less weightlifting. I'm just addressing the excuse you gave for not seeking therapy where it is needed.
/r/ExRedPill15/09/22 04:04 PM
1

If you discredit any source that you disagree with, you will never challenge yourself enough to improve, sadly. I didn't say to quit school.
/r/ExRedPill15/09/22 03:57 PM
1

If school is keeping you from therapy, then I'd say less school and more therapy. Your mental health is important. I decline to answer the question. Have a good day.
/r/ExRedPill15/09/22 03:54 PM
1

Therapy helps you improve yourself. Improving yourself past the obvious insecurities that are locking you down will help you get dates. Therapy at community services often income-scale. I encourage you to continue therapy outside of your campus. It is not a short process. If you keep circling back to "yeah I know all that but I want a date" then you are still stuck in the loop of seeing women as a goal, not as other people to form healthy relationships with.
/r/ExRedPill15/09/22 03:49 PM
1

I feel like you're avoiding the question. Have you been consistently in therapy for an extended period of time including now? It seems like you're saying you haven't been in therapy for a while but plan to go again.
/r/ExRedPill15/09/22 03:45 PM
1

Are you still in therapy?
/r/ExRedPill15/09/22 03:43 PM
1

And I said that self-improvement is not something you finish. It's an ongoing process. The mere fact you're saying "But I did that already" shows you don't get what I'm saying about it. Red pill tactics do not work past meeting someone, they quickly fall apart in a healthy relationship built on mutual respect. Reddit is full of examples of this. The advice "just be yourself" worked for me after I let go my insecurities and stopped treating dating like a game, and starting treating people like in…
/r/ExRedPill15/09/22 03:38 PM

What specifically am I saying that doesn't work? Self-improvement?
/r/ExRedPill15/09/22 03:33 PM
1

Why do you ask, and why does it matter?
/r/ExRedPill15/09/22 03:31 PM
1

Don't do what you think "works" because people will find it fake. People can tell when you aren't acting like yourself. And if you catch a date while acting fake, then you get to act fake the whole relationship. You say you've been to therapy, as if going fixes you instantly. You have to keep going, keep improving yourself for the sake of improving yourself. I don't think I'll be going to the romance books subreddit.
/r/ExRedPill15/09/22 03:29 PM
1

Does doing it get you somewhere, if you say not doing it gets you nowhere? If not, maybe lead/follow isn't the issue. If you find yourself depressed, work on yourself before entering a relationship or you'll quietly self-sabotage without knowing it.
/r/ExRedPill15/09/22 03:25 PM
1

Not all women have the same tastes. Some women like androgyny, for example. There are sources on how to ask women out that don't treat them like unthinking animals (redpill does). Being nice and having hygiene are a huge part, but not acting like you are playing a game and treating women like people instead of a goal to be won is a larger part. Redpill teaches the opposite. It teaches manipulation and devaluation instead of partnership.
/r/ExRedPill15/09/22 03:21 PM
1

How about this, you tell me what good it has to offer, and I'll tell you how that good is either packaged along with bad, or can be found elsewhere. The elsewhere will either be more accessible or less packaged with harmful ideas. I can't address the vague notion "good."
/r/ExRedPill15/09/22 03:14 PM

I'm not sure I understand your point. Are you saying because it's popular it must be good for you? That's....ridiculous.
/r/ExRedPill15/09/22 03:12 PM

1.People on this subreddit just baffle me. Instead of focusing on an argument as a whole they fixate on a single spec, they view as a weakness. This is actually proper argumentation if the "single spec" is a premise of the argument. You attack a conclusion by invalidating the premises in actual argumentation. An argument is a structured set of statements where true premises must necessarily lead to a true conclusion. So you can't prove the conclusion wrong without attacking the premises. I wante…

Tell me again how far I'll go again, in my 15 year relationship. Every relationship is different. If you feel the need to be a strongman that's fine, but it's not the only way to have a relationship. Crying should be reserved for: when you feel like fucking crying.

/r/ExRedPill22/12/20 07:48 PM

It's silly. Crying is a show of vulnerability and being vulnerable helps bring people closer together. It's required in a long term relationship. Redpill isn't geared towards long term, it's geared towards hookups. With hookups in mind, yeah, you don't want strangers seeing you crying a lot because that will give them a poor impression of you. So in short: blubbering randomly with people you barely know? No go. Crying with a trusted friend or partner? Of course!

I sincerly believe men learn aggression because they've been, from the moment they leave the womb, treated as aggressors. So you're basically asking a "nature vs nurture" question. Which is okay. I don't have the answer, though. People have been debating this for many years. But you said (correction, agreed with) the first thing, which is "nurture nurture nurture" which is what I was objecting to in the first place.
/r/ExRedPill21/12/20 10:44 PM
5

So, I'll ask again then maybe. Do you really think that all aggressive men are just a product of being treated like they are aggressive, and, therefore, not actually responsible for the harm they do to others? I think that people, no matter how disadvantaged by upbringing, have to be held accountable for their actions. If upbringing taught them wrong, let the reality of consequence teach them right.

Being given gendered toys is different than the point you were making, which was that men are told they are privileged and either are or are made to feel like bottom feeders. That's a far cry from being given a tonka truck instead of a barbie ferrari. I'm not disagreeing with boys and girls being treated differently, which is a fact. I'm saying it's a bridge too far to say that boys are treated as a aggressors from birth. I also think that its a leap to say that "toy trucks, construction sets, d…

Ah, your idea is close. Let me take what you said and rephrase it so see if it makes it more clear: "I kept thinking that it meant a person would 100%, without a doubt, leave their partner if they fell under temptation of (a mate with a higher status)." If you had said that, it would be an accurate definition of what redpillers call hypergamy.
/r/ExRedPill08/12/20 02:28 AM
1

Gold diggers start off single. There are greedy people willing to do bad things for money, relationships or otherwise. Still nothing to do with hypergamy. Hypergamy (redpill nonsense) says that a person (man, woman, whatever), will leave a lower status mate for a higher status mate all the time, and that its an end goal is to get the highest status mate possible (chad) or settle for a less attractive person with money (betabux). It's all a narrative to pray on insecurities of lonely men.
/r/ExRedPill08/12/20 02:19 AM
1

You lost some words so I'll try to glean your meaning. I'm just trying to say Hypergamy is not a thing. Nobody falls under it, regardless of gender. I agree that people can be jerks regardless of gender, but that has little to do with whether hypergamy exists or not. Hypergamy is not a phenomena acknowledged by any major scientific/sociological/psychological journal and to discuss it as ANYTHING other than a fantasy of the redpillers is intellectually dishonest. This, I think, is a complete summ…

Hypergamy is a theory that people are always after a better mate, no matter their current mate situation. Toxicity is an extremely broad term. It's like saying Evil and Murder. Yeah, murder is evil, but shifting from talking about murder in specific to evil in general makes in impossible to hold a conversation. Didn't you say earlier that you didn't believe in hypergamy?

Everything is a puzzle piece. You can be well styled and disrespect people and they won't be attracted to you. You need at least a semi-complete picture. What I'm saying is that people treat looks like the whole picture. And it aint. Maybe work on those social skills with a therapist. It's not that it *cancels it out* its that no single piece is a whole picture.

People *overestimate* the importance of looks, to the point of talking about chad jawlines, hunter brows, etc. There's more than one type of look that works, and looks can be VASTLY improved by proper styling an hygiene. Often people write themselves off because of *looks* when the real problem is styling and hygiene. Specifically, incel banter does this as a rule.

I'm not saying you don't feel different, I'm just saying that's not necessarily a specific reflection of specific brain chemistry in any objective way without actually taking samples. Doubly so since you are both observer and subject.

Wow, you must be a robot to be able to know your brain chemistry on the fly. /s

Don't tell him to convince. It's triangulation. If she says no, accept the no, and move on. Anything else is further manipulation and controlling behavior.

Probably also more respectful of them as a person, but you wouldn't notice that from across the room in 10 seconds.

We've been together for the past 5 Valentines days, I expect I'll make it through 2 more. And calling me a bitch is uncalled for, what did I ever do to you other than calmly disagree with you on the internet?

Why, exactly, would I want to keep a running tally of the gifts I give to my significant other? Why, exactly, would I want to bookmark this page to see if I'm still with her this time next year? Edit: It seems that this was just meant to be some sort of insult, since, judging by your user page, you're unwilling to answer. I hope you get over whatever has caused you to be so bitter.

What is this supposed to mean?
/r/MensRights06/02/12 08:14 AM

Right, but when you get nit-picky about it it is a common cause of relationship problems. There's a difference between equality and equivalent exchange.

You don't get what I'm saying. Yeah, both partners should try to do as much as the other partner should do, but it should not become a matter of who is doing more. See This comment for an example of what I mean. There is a difference between attempts to be equal in a relationship and making it like an exchange where if I do something nice for her then she needs to do something nice for me. Over time one person or another is likely to be in a deficit to some degree, but this isn't a business rela…

I didn't say all or nothing, I said thinking in terms of equivalent exchange. It leads to this sort of discussion: "Honey, will you take out the trash?" "I took it out last time, you should this time." "Well I did the dishes the last two times, so you should take out the trash" etc. etc. Relationships should, of course, be about give and take from both parties, but trying to "stay even" leads to badness.

A relationship isn't about equivalent exchange. Thinking along those terms is a dangerous way to tread. That being said, I'm sure if I do something nice for her, she'll do something nice for me.

Or, perhaps, y'know, I could do something that doesn't involve me going out and buying her things. I could make her dinner, offer her a back-rub, watch her favorite television show, or any of a number of other things.

Very much true. I never implied that, but of course you didn't say that I did. Jolly good, pip pip.

As a person in a committed relationship, I disagree. Sometimes its better to wait until you get home. Wait until the other party isn't upset. Wait until they get home from work instead of speaking before they go to work, etc.
