Ever since the covid isolation hit my mind has been wandering off to my high-school years and lost opportunities with women because I never took the initiative. It has gotten increasingly bad to the point where I almost want to reach-out to one on social media (which I don't use ordinarily) with messages of praise and shit. Keep in mind that we were never more than acquaintances if not loose friends, and this was years ago at this point.

Then I go back to TRP videos and I'm slapped in the face by reality (a.k.a "wtf are you doing you idiot?" moment). For example, Gonzo's video about diversifying the women you talk to analogous to applying to several different colleges to better your chances of getting into one. Not being so focused on one experience when there could be others better than you imagined out there.

This wasn't a problem pre-covid because I could socialize in college (though I've never put any effort into chasing women).
