I think it's also a place for people to share their stories. Entering the manosphere, what got them there, how they left, and so on. It's also for people who have run into redpillers/blackpillers to share their stories.

You keep asserting this stuff is real without anything to back it up. Insulting people doesn't make your point true.

Lol do you have any sources on that? 29% of white married women with children are breadwinners: https://www.google.com/url?sa=t&source=web&rct=j&url=https://iwpr.org/wp-content/uploads/2020/08/Q054.pdf&ved=2ahUKEwjtkYW4_-zyAhWhAZ0JHdtoBygQFnoECBsQAQ&usg=AOvVaw3H4PY75SbZPiam3VNfou5C Do you not understand what the cost of living is right now and how it usually takes 2 incomes to buy a house and pay the bills? How old are you anyway?

so wrong, I never seen or wintessed or even heard of men dating a woman just for money and using her for money; I heard men using women for sex, NEVER for money. Well then you haven't paid attention or done enough research. Women are hypergamous; they always want to date someone better than themselves. Are men hypergamous, yes but way less than women. Women usually want a provider, etc. Hypergamy has been debunked on this subreddit multiple times. You can search for it. Do you have any evidence …

Men have used women for money throughout centuries. The term gigolo would not exist in English dictionary if it didn’t. It was entirely legal and acceptable for men to marry women with great inheritance and claim it after marriage. While such practice don’t exist in most countries anymore, many men still marry women based on her or her family status. I've seen it happen in my own life. A male family member insisted he be in charge of all the finances in the house, and that his wife's money was h…

Yes, plenty of people are attracted to wealth. This is no secret, the average person knows this. The difference is that redpill says all women are like that and it's one of the only things they care about. How many women do you think care only or mostly about money? Edit: also redpill makes it seem like it's a problem that women have, not a human problem.

I'm not surprised. Redpillers/blackpillers make women sound like female horndogs, but why would women be chasing men in that manner if they aren't going to have an orgasm?

I don't mean to sound like I'm on FDS or something, but for real. So many dudes lie and hide shit. It's too difficult for some to just be a decent person, so they pretend to be. Or they pretend to have their act together as an adult, and as soon as you move in with them they need a 2nd Mommy. I'd rather be alone than deal with someone like that. Who the fuck raised these guys?

Women aren't actively trying to control anybody. If they like a guy, they'll go out with him. If not, then they won't. It's that simple. If you feel like you have no control, that doesn't mean someone is trying to control you.

Yeah I don't want to shit on OP in particular. I just notice a lot of lonely dudes on here will pick out one aspect of dating and fixate on it. Lol we can't change other people's desires so I don't see the use of complaining about it in the first place. It's not even just the internet/media that shapes our desires when we are young. Our parents and other people in our lives do it to us. It's no secret that sexual abuse can drive people's desires one way or another. But It doesn't have to be abus…

Copy and pasted my other comment: I don't care too much about what happens between consenting adults. What makes us develop our sexual desires is VERY complex and there's a LOT of factors. Too many to count. It starts when we are kids. I would guess most people don't even know where their own desires come from and how they formed when we were younger. I think it's not a stretch to say that whatever we were exposed to as children (sexual or not) is going to point us in a certain direction. I'm ju…

Everybody hates white men, you don't have to remind me. Lmao. I understand incelers/redpillers with that asian fetish thing, but do normal adjusted white men do that? I don't think it's ingrained in our culture in any of the same capacity. Confirmation bias. Don't even get me started on porn which is just "Big Buff black xxxx White girl", clearly everyone is into it as there's a reason it's so popular. So you've never checked out Asian porn? Ever heard of hentai?

Yeah this is why posts like this are controversial. I think this "form of attraction" is unique to you because you care about it for whatever reason. What's so special about it? I don't know and I don't care. It's not my business why other people get together. What about white dudes that want to date Asian women and fetishize them? I think it's really difficult to answer any questions regarding race on this subreddit. It opens up a huge box of problems that involve stereotypes and generalizations. That being said... I'm friends with this couple. White girl and a black guy, they have been together for years and have a baby together. They would have been married by now if it weren't for covid. https://fivethirtyeight.com/features/whats-the-average-age-difference-in-a-couple/ Well for starters, age gap relationships are more common among older couples and gay/lesbian couples. Most couples are close in age, like 5 years or less of an age difference. I don't see any evidence that says younger women ending up with older men is the norm. Now, if you're talking about older guys chasing after younger women... that's a different story. These guys usually get labeled as creeps, groomers, or ev…

I wouldn't have used such harsh words. I will agree there are women-only subreddits on reddit that ban any remove any users they find out to be guys. Because guys will storm in and cry about how it's actually men that are being silenced and have zero safe spaces to talk. Thanks to toxic masculinity, they bash on safe spaces and then turn around and wonder why we can't have nice things. That being said, please keep it civil.

What do I really want? For this housing market to not be total bullshit so I could afford my own place. Oh, you mean sexually? Oh. Let me think on that... yeah I still just want my own condominium. A great way to debunk opinions is to ask questions. Lots of questions. Such as, where did you learn that? Why is that person an expert? What are their qualifications? Why are people with little or no experience with women claiming to be experts on women? Are you sure that's a healthy way to approach anybody? How does one shitty person prove all women are like that? Are you aware men do the same thing? And so on... make up your own questions too to fit the conversation. Just by playing devil's ad…

Unpopular opinion here... but So many American women are fat, unattractive, socially awkward and boring... Yet that does not stop them from getting married. The bar for dating is MUCH higher for men than women... Men have to have a car, house, degree, tall, looks, Job, and have a go getter mindset. If a man says he wants to be a stay at home dad or is overweight... Somehow this reflects badly on women? Sounds like women have standards and men have none.

Right. Honestly every time (just a few times but enough times) in my life I was ever cold approached, I automatically say no. It catches me off guard and I just don't fucking know them.

This is good advice. If you're going to cold approach and ask somebody out, at least do it respectfully and don't get butthurt over it. If they turn you down with a "sorry, no thanks" then the proper answer would be "I understand, no problem, enjoy the rest of your day."

Women have a wider variety of what they are attracted to, compared to men. If a girl isn't into you, move on. There's other fish in the sea. You can't make people become attracted to you.
/r/ExRedPill20/08/21 05:32 AM

This subreddit is not to battle against redpill or blackpill. This is a subreddit for people who want to leave redpill or blackpill, and they have to have an open mind to do so. You came here with a circular argument, expecting others to debate you, and claiming others don't know how to use reason and logic? There's nothing helpful or of value about this post.
/r/ExRedPill19/08/21 10:52 PM

You have a lot of circular logic going on here. "Looks are important because looks are important" is basically your argument. Do you have anything to support that claim? And why should we give a fuck what one person says on PPD?
/r/ExRedPill19/08/21 10:46 PM

I don't see how your key/gold analogy follows. You have an opinion, you created an argument to demonstrate that opinion and you claim it's true because you claim the premises are already true. But you didn't demonstrate that the premises are true. Logical arguments are only as good as the information you feed into them. How do you think ugly people get together and date? How do you think they pass on their "ugly" genes? If they literally couldn't ever get laid, they wouldn't be able to pass on t…

You're not even an adult yet. You're 16. You need to hear this: teenagers will be total assholes. They can and will be total assholes to both adults and other teens. This part of your life may totally suck. But you have to get through it. People are finding relationships and sexual experiences a lot later than previous generations. It it totally okay. Some really great quotes here: The latest of these killers to whine about “missing out on teenage love”, as if teenagers everywhere are enjoying thrilling erotic escapades (they aren’t). It’s imaginative envy, ephebophilic FOMO. It’s often explained as “male entitlement”—and yeah, the “promised” “deserved” thinking is entitled. I don't think sticking to your word is a good thing 100% of the time. Sometimes the smarter idea is to leave. And sometimes people shouldn't have gotten married in the first place. Sticking to your word at all costs is a great idea until you realize it can be used as an excuse to put up with very toxic behavior. Besides, sometimes people just aren't compatible anymore. But, culture cannot induce desires that don't exist. Correct, this is why anti-gay conversion camps don't work. For example, culture can shame promiscuous people into being less so, but cannot make an asexual attracted to anyone. Being promiscuous is an action, while asexuality is a trait. People can make choices on the former, not the latter. This is why the influence of culture has its limitations. Why would your parents and friends not want to know? I grew up in an abusive household. Honestly a number of people I did confide in just ignored me, didn't believe me, insinuated I deserved it, or just plain didn't understand. Opening up about abuse isn't easy nor is it straightforward. I worry that a community’s lack of empathy and willingness to help enables bad people to be bad :( This x100000000.... If everything was going right in a marriage, a couple wouldn't be getting divorced. Men, for whatever reason, usually don't want to end things even if shit is going wrong. I grew up in a misogynistic household and my parents are semi-redpilled. I truly thought I had zero worth because I was born a girl. Basically it gave me ptsd and made me depressed and suicidal. It took years of hard work to get my mental health back. If redpill/similar beliefs are true, then why does it cause such mental distress in people? Why don't my parents have any friends? Many (if not most) humans have some sort of tribalistic mentality in some form or another. Politics, religion, race, their next door neighbor who blasts loud music and won't mow their lawn, their sibling that they always had a rivalry with, and so on. Gender is just another thing to argue about.

I would bet that redpill guys are more likely to die alone. Their horrible attitudes and beliefs scare decent people away. And anybody who does hang around them is probably not a healthy person to be around either. My parents are semi-redpilled and they have zero friends. As for your second article, it says nothing about women wanting a big strong dude. That implies physical appearances. The article was talking about dominant and powerful men, which is more of a mindset and an action. I don't see what the big deal is, since loads of people (men, women, and LGBTQ) love being dominated in bed. Feminism tackles more social issues and the power dynamics between men and women. I came here to say something similar. People who don't have their crap together (mentally, having a stable place to live, a job, things of that nature) usually are more difficult to have a relationship with. Their mental illness or baggage creates problems, it's hard to go see them when they don't have a place to live, it's difficult to do stuff you want to do when you don't have money, and so on. I don't think it's unfair to want to avoid shit like this.

Whoever makes the claim, the burden of proof is on them. There's not exactly an equal number of men and women on earth, for the record. Under age 40ish, there's more men than women. There's just no way for there to ever be an equal distribution of partners. I also take issue with the fact that people are being looked at like resources.

I can't get into specifics but I will say I've seen bikers do great deeds for other people. Did you know there's a group of big tough biker guys who help out abused kids? They go talk to the kids and help them stand up in court to testify against their abusers. The kids feel more protected that way.

I remember hearing a story about a couple. I don't remember who told me the story or where/when the story took place. But a man beat up his wife on multiple occasions. I haven't watched his content. But I remember another Redpill YouTube dude who was claiming that domestic violence only occurs against men. Any violence towards women is just to keep them in line. This sort of premise also puts forth the idea that "women who claim DV are always lying."

All of the stuff young dudes go through that you are complaining about is due to old school gender norms, not feminism! So I don't know why you continue to blame feminism for what it is not at fault for.
/r/ExRedPill27/06/21 03:48 AM

I don't know what you're rambling on about. You still haven't provided any examples of how widespread it is, men getting demonized for their sexuality.
/r/ExRedPill27/06/21 03:46 AM
2

Examples: Be sexually aggressive. "Get some! Get some!" Or "you haven't gotten laid yet? Loser." "Take upskirt shots" heard that one from my misogynistic, asshole stepdad. He said it to my brother. Also, being shamed for being gay and/or feminine. Or just being called gay as an insult, even if you're not. If you've experienced anything along those lines, that's due to conservative old school gender norms.

Criticizing a group is not the definition of the "no true scottsman fallacy." Exactly, you're waiting for the day where people's opinions are all consistent. You'll die thousands of years before that happens.
/r/ExRedPill27/06/21 03:12 AM

It does matter if it's classic or extremist. Jesus christ. Do you not understand how big the difference is? Would you not tell the difference between some peaceful Muslim family who lives down the street, and some extremist groups that go cause suicide bombings? According to your logic, they're the same thing.
/r/ExRedPill27/06/21 03:10 AM
2

Classic feminist doctrine doesn't demonize men's sexuality. I don't know where you're getting this from. Most child neglect is done by the mother/mother figure. Most violent child abuse is done by the father/father figure. The statistics reflect this. Everyone is going to beat their spouse? Wtf, where did this come from?
/r/ExRedPill27/06/21 03:07 AM
3

If everyone is really that conflicting to you, then why do you keep wanting their acceptance and approval? Why would you value what they say anymore? How can you respect their opinion anymore? I don't take anyone seriously if their opinions are really inconsistent/contradictory. I don't respect their opinions anymore. Think for yourself.

You are right about assault and rape. men are inherently predatory Well, the statistics say most sex predators are men. Have you considered that it's not inherent in men, but that most men are brought up to be taught to be sexually aggressive? You can thank misogyny and sexism for that. That's not feminism. Were you raised in a religious family or religious area? If your sexuality and sex drive were demonized, you can probably blame religion and purity culture for that. That's also not feminism.…

Just my personal experience, but I've seen a lot of relationships/dating end when the guy doesn't understand that there's a problem and refuses to address it so she just leaves. It makes zero zense in his mind but that's because he doesn't understand that there was a problem until it was already too late.

It sounds like you're stuck in this mentality due to a lack of imagination. People break up for all sorts of reasons. Usually people just aren't compatible. Trial and error. Lots of trial and error, brainstorming. Try building your own philosophy based on morality, how people should be treated, the purpose of life, and so on. It's basically considering your own opinions on these topics and making them consistent with each other. Once you do that, you can figure out how that applies to romantic and sexual relationships. Forget trying to label it as anything and forget where your ideas come from. Just judge things on their own merit. Good news is that…

Yeah dude. That's why people have different opinions and that's why conflict exists. People disagree on shit 24/7 so that's why we all receive different messages growing up. There's nothing we can do about that. Have you tried ditching both feminism and redpill? Think for yourself. Quit putting labels on stuff. Quit trying to pick a side and come up with your own life philosophy instead. Loads of people become adults and they realize their upbringing was a lie, or mostly untrue. Like when people…

The problem is that men who harass women will gaslight them into saying it's love, respect, affection, and so on. Even if a woman turns him down, her safety and reputation are still at risk. If someone was showing genuine signs of affection, not harassment, they would understand that they should fuck off if their advances aren't wanted. Desire in itself isn't the problem. The problem is that too many people don't know how to keep their fucking hands to themselves, and their desires for whatever …

Hitting? Or hitting on? People are allowed to go search for whatever dates they want, as long as it's between consenting adults. Being sexualized isn't helpful if one doesn't want to be sexualized in the first place, for starters. I wouldn't take it as a compliment, myself. It opens one up to being used. Let's say you take a chance on someone. But they use your body to meet their sexual needs and don't give a fuck about yours. Not all sex is good. Not all people are respectful. Rape and assault happens every day. Women can be sexualized VERY young, before the typical age where people even understand what sex is. It's also…

Where are those girls in their late 20s and early 30s? Dating dudes who don't spend their whole days on social media checking out younger girls. Some are married with kids already. Agreed, there's no universal truth here to our personalities. I care about money, but that's because I've been living on my own for over 10 years now and I've had to support myself. Most guys I've dated, I made more money than them or at least I had more stable jobs than they did. Nobody is coming to save me and pay my bills, lmfao.
/r/ExRedPill04/06/21 10:40 PM
18

Exactly, If a couple decides to have kids together, it's not unreasonable to expect both parents to financially support the family and do the hard work of child raising, or at least divide up the work in whatever way makes sense for the family. For some reason, this doesn't compute with some redpillers.
/r/ExRedPill04/06/21 10:36 PM
21

Same as anybody else in society. Some are gold diggers, some don't care about money whatsoever. People usually date within their socioeconomic class anyway. More and more women are college educated and are the breadwinners in the family. That doesn't fit with the stereotypical gold digging mooch that redpillers like to portay women as. Having good financial skills and knowledge is great but you don't have to make six figures or more to do that.

The alternative is to just be a better person and figure out what works for you. Personally, I was fucking miserable after being taught redpill-like sexist bullshit when I was growing up. I figured out that friendships and dating are better when I stopped trying to be someone I wasn't, and I treated people with respect. I stopped listening to people who repeatedly gave bad advice and didn't listen to me. I learned to take criticism.

Why do you want to spend any time with him?
/r/ExRedPill03/06/21 12:11 PM

Redpillers, blackpillers, and MGTOW all basically subscribe to the same sexist ideas. I think the difference is in how they approach those beliefs and act on them: Redpill: edgelord pickup artist internet troll. Blackpill/incel: more into looksism probably due to body dysmorphia, "woe is me" crybabies. MGOTW: "Fuck all of this, I'm out. I'm done with women. Now I'm going to go complain about them all day on the internet." These are the stereotypes, anyway.
/r/ExRedPill03/06/21 03:07 AM

I ran into a girl last year who I went to high school with. It was at a baby shower for a friend of mine, and I had no idea that she and I knew people in common. She's my age (30ish) and she's dating her boss. (He's probably around age 50.) I told my other friends about it and we were all like, "well that's never gonna work out."

I like the story of your great grandfather. It reminds me of my own grandfather and what a good role model he has been. He worked many jobs over the years, he was in the army, he raised a family of 4 kids. He survived his family being split up after his mom died, and he still remembers the trauma from that nearly 80 years later. He's got an old school, Catholic republican mentality but he feels no need to shit on other people for their gender or whatever path they take in life. He's stoic on the…

I find it stupid how redpillers and old-school misogynists think such work is easy and not meaningful. But then most of them don't know how to do housework, can't keep their own homes clean, and claim they don't have time for such stuff.

I don't think you're ever going to be happy as long as you keep seeing getting a girlfriend as a prize or reward. You won't appreciate her for who she is and you'll be clingy as fuck. I'm sorry you don't understand the value of hard work in itself. I'm sorry you don't seem to understand that the right thing to do is keep trying and do the adult things you are supposed to do even if you don't get rewarded every time for it. For most people, their sexual attraction changes as they age. They remain attracted to people roughly within their own generation/age group. There is something to be said about relating to/having stuff in common with somebody and being attracted to that. I've seen older women point out the occasional younger guy as attractive, but they don't chase after those guys and divorce their husbands over it. Probably like 99% of the time, and with the exception of maybe some really rich celebrities. I kn…

I didn't do any of my hard work for the purpose of finding a partner. Quite the opposite, I wanted to be as independent as possible. I still have issues but I'm pretty happy with that, and with how things have turned out. Yes, people have respected me more but that's more of a byproduct.

Just because it hasn't happened yet doesn't mean it won't happen. Everyone has flaws, bro. But the more you work on yourself, the less likely you are to attract decent people and not toxic abusive nutjobs. If you don't want to work on yourself, then you're more likely to end up with that kind of person or end up alone. It's not about guarantees, it's about probability. Life isn't a video game.

What makes you think that success means you can/should stop doing whatever you were successful at? People keep working on stuff despite having already succeeded at whatever they worked on, for many reasons. Boredom, intellectual curiosity, wanting another challenge, wanting to succeed again, or just for fun. Why does this make you feel inferior?

Therapy is for yourself, to help you change your own thought patterns that upset you. Therapy doesn't work for those who insist it is impossible, and expect the world to change to accommodate them. It is totally possible, and the world isn't going to change itself to accommodate you.
/r/ExRedPill25/05/21 09:14 PM

I don't think you understand what dating is about. It's not supposed to be "find one person and stay with them forever." Dating is supposed to be about finding the right person. In doing so, you're gonna find a number of people who aren't good for you. Nobody is actually seeking out bad people, it just comes with the territory of dating. You speak as if women actively seek out bad guys. I don't know why you make this out to be a bad thing, that casual dating is essentially like shopping around. …

Pretty much what the other commenter said. We were ALL fed some bullshit growing up. Everyone, no matter what sex or race we are. It wasted a lot of time, but the way to make it less of a waste is to learn from it and move on. That being said, what's your plan? It's your life and it's your responsibility to figure out what to do with it.

A redpiller might not go out of their way to abuse or mistreat a woman. But it's still likely that they aren't a pleasant person to be around. Decide what kind of people you want to be around. And see him for who he really is, not what you want him to be.

Quite the opposite, I hope for the safety of sex workers. When redpillers (or anyone else) says sex work is easy and why doesn't just anyone do it, "gee I wish I could do such an easy job"... there's a reason why not every woman decides to get into porn or sex work. Why do female sex symbols have huge boobs and tiny waists? It's just what men find attractive. Women find muscular men attractive because it's instinctual. I've no idea honestly. Its something thats been bothering me for a while. Why do so many men want to believe that women should (and even want) to be dominated and controlled by men? It's a made-up belief with no basis in reality. They made it up so they can victim blame. "Oh she wanted it!!!" My closest guess to why they're obsessed with controlling and dehumanizing women is because they've built their identity on "not being women". The original definition of redpill was based off the Matrix but it's been totally transformed into something else since then. It's an ideology that preys upon mostly guys who have at least one of these issues: insecurity and control issues, social and dating issues, mental illness, being bullied/abused. It presents sexist ideas to them, or makes their previously held sexist beliefs even worse. We don't often discuss the original redpill idea in this sub because it's not very relevant anymore, an…

Why? You'll just take it all the wrong way.

OP is a guy. And again, I don't understand how you got to your conclusion. They were talking about not focusing on women so much and worrying about themselves.
/r/ExRedPill05/05/21 02:11 PM

I can't help you if you insist on taking my words the wrong way. OP is recovering from his sexist mindset. It's a process.
/r/ExRedPill05/05/21 01:59 PM
6

Yes, you are wrong. Because that wasn't my intention with those words.
/r/ExRedPill05/05/21 01:52 PM
5

No. Because Redpill can and does plauge women too, just not as often. I never said all men are power hungry control freaks. Because women can be too. There's indeed a number of them out there that are men though, and Redpill targets these dudes. Don't put words in my mouth.
/r/ExRedPill05/05/21 01:48 PM
8

I don't know how you got to that conclusion. You decided to ignore the way redpill preys on guy's control issues, and now you're ranting about sexism?
/r/ExRedPill05/05/21 01:05 PM
9

Just because the redpill ideology doesn't explicitly say "we are all about keeping control" doesn't mean it's not part of the attitude a lot of redpilled guys have. I think plenty of us on this subreddit have read what redpillers have to say, and when their arguments and experiences are taken into account, they are very much afraid of losing control.

It's definitely easier and more likely to happen if you socialize and hang out with decent people. Especially in person. Just my own observation... I know a lot of guys think they have to play the numbers game. Meaning messaging lots of girls, talking to lots of girls... to me, that's about quantity. Not quality. To me, that shows desperation and aloofness. It doesn't do anything to build trust or show kindness, and it doesn't demonstrate being a quality person to be around. Women want to feel s…

An ideology is toxic if it takes credit for all of your accomplishments and blames you for everything that goes wrong. Ideas should be criticized. Credit should be given where Credit is due. Blame should be given where blame is due.

No worries. Honestly the more I talk to you, the more I think that you're dealing with an age/growing up thing. Not a gender thing. Yes, men and women have different expectations put onto them. But people in their 20s and 30s learn (when they get to that age) that many times those expectations were bullshit. For many different reasons. Both men and women deal with this. Just don't give up. You'll figure it out.

Not all women are going to understand what men go through, and most men won't understand what women go through. It's part of life and you're asking for something to change that is probably impossible. Some experiences are universal, like rejection and embarrassment and being used. Some people experience some things worse than others. Once again, it's part of life.

Do you think that no relationships have any time when the man is emotionally vulnerable? Or that there's no sexual attraction in those situations (there's no such thing as 'attraction points')? I know plenty of people who do not question their partner's manhood or sexuality for showing emotion or vulnerability. Pillow talk (before or after sex) is a great time to be vulnerable and talk about deep shit.

It's really difficult (if not impossible) to survive off of one income these days if you want a house and family and stuff. Same. The path I'm on currently is my dream. But I would have done it so much sooner if it weren't for shitty parents who insisted I do only feminine jobs. I would have been more successful by now. Giving children and teens the tools they need to figure out their lives on their own is the best way to parent. Deciding for them their roles and making them do it is hurtful. Maybe she hasn't made up her mind yet.

They refuse to believe women have any troubles with dating, at least none that aren't shallow. So any woman who speaks up about dating troubles is automatically a laughingstock to them. Then again, they freak the fuck out over any woman who speaks up over anything. They have nothing better to do with themselves. They project their problems onto others because they don't have the guts to deal with their own problems. Joke's on the redpill dudes: at least she's getting dates.

The chick who said that to you is fucked up. It's fucked up no matter who says it. Nobody should have to do shit they aren't comfortable with. End of story. People can approach others, but back off if they are uncomfortable. End of story. Clearly you're tired of gender roles. Well here you go. Here is some simple rules for you with zero double standards.

This isn't a difficult concept dude. Women often don't approach guys they don't know. It's a safety thing. Just because I want them to feel safer doesn't mean I'm going to urge them to go approach guys when they don't feel it's right to do so.

I don't think you understand that old school traditional dating rules are being used at the same time as modern dating rules. Different people have different expectations. It's not one or the other, bro. Just because you have only seen women who want it the traditional way doesn't mean that there aren't more modern women out there.

Yeah it's awarded in something like 10% of divorces these days, last I checked. Besides, several states are no-fault divorce states. Meaning it's mandatory that in divorces, all assets get split down the middle evenly. The only exception is if someone claims domestic violence, or a prenup. California is one of them, where a ton of celebrities live. (These are just stats I remember off the top of my head, I can dig up sources if needed)

I'm sure it's possible. But it's also probably pretty rare. And I highly doubt it can be something that can be taught to others and sold as a method to improve your marriage. Besides, if he's doing this without her knowledge and without her consent, that is not okay. Redpill loves to pretend that consent and communication aren't necessary in relationships, so all the RP relationships out there sound like manipulative games. But I had someone repeatedly sexually harass me in the past. He left me alone when I was dating someone. He didn't respect me, he respected the guy I was dating. Being single, I would have to put up a bigger fight. This is just my opinion and my story. I can't speak for the women you know. I'm just throwing out ideas. Edit: typos

I don't think there's a way to quantify this, or measure it. How does one measure "niceness"? The most simple solution is to check your own biases. It could just be the area you live in or the school/job you're at. You could be treating them differently without realizing it. It could be that the unmarried women you ran into are more defensive, and they feel the need to be for whatever reason. Maybe they are more stressed out, and it comes off as hostility.

I think writing stuff that is meant to be read by others comes with responsibility. Yes, people can be influenced. Especially younger people and those in vulnerable populations. This is exactly why communication is important. Don't just go grab someone and expect them to dance with you. That's really risky, just like you said. Something along the lines of "hey, want to dance with me?" Would be more appropriate. There is subtleties to dating. But that still qualifies as communication, even though it's more advanced. Communication doesn't have to be verbal. You still managed to communicate with each other. Obviously you got on the same page somehow. Even "want to watch Netflix?" Is communication. You mentioned couples you knew that were married. They had to get to know each other at some point. Do you think they just used telepathy or something? Communication is a part of socializing.
/r/ExRedPill13/04/21 06:55 PM

You don't have to have outstanding social and communication skills. Just some basics. That was my point. I'd love to know how the couples you speak of are doing. If they actually feel connected to each other and can work through problems. If they made it as far as marriage, then they definitely communicated at some point. Even talking to each other is communication. Unless it was an arranged marriage and they didn't even know each other until the wedding day.
/r/ExRedPill13/04/21 06:39 PM

I'm probably the one person who has commented on your posts the most today, so I apologize if I'm harping on every point you make and bugging you with that. That's the thing about redpill, it takes a tiny grain of truth and runs with it. It looks on the surface to be the answer to everything, but really it keeps playing with your insecurities. It appeals to your insecurities while also making them worse. The answer is to stay the fuck away from all redpill content. There's a woman out there some…

Everybody settles for something in their partner, everyone. And over time they either learn to love their partner more, or they grow apart. Both men and women do this. There's no relationship drive thru where you can place an order and get what you want 100%.

You asked what was cherry picked fodder for the dogma.

There is a tiny grain of truth to it, bro. That's how they lasso guys into this ideology in the first place. They take it and run with it to the extremes. That's what turns so many of these guys to be angry and messed up. It's best not to swallow the pill in the first place. It's a sugar pill laced with poison. If you want the sugar only, then go find sugar.

One more thing I want to mention that is often forgotten when TRP'ers bring up scientific studies: trends are just that. Trends. They don't speak for all people, assuming the trend is actually true in the first place. A trend is not the psychology equivalent of a law in physics, where nothing goes against the trend. A conclusion like "70% of women in this study liked the muscular guys" is often taken to the extreme that basically says "All women only want muscular guys, therefore if you're not b…

Exactly, how is "work out and lose weight" unique to redpill? Are all fitness gurus redpilled or something?
/r/ExRedPill12/04/21 02:58 PM
10

The first article doesn't even describe what the photos of muscular men are compared to. Are they being compared to slightly less muscular men? Average dad bods? Obese guys who look like they haven't showered all week? Depending on what the photos are compared to, it's going to skew the results one way or another. And if the study does no comparison and only asks women if they like the pictures of muscular men, then it's not a very good study and it doesn't prove anything.

How did you lose your life dream? Can you come up with some other life goal? You're only 16, your life has only just begun. What women are "taking advantage" of you? How are they doing so? How are they (or anyone) treating you like a sex offender?
/r/ExRedPill12/04/21 02:27 PM

I just want to point out that 160 women is a ridiculously small sample size. It would be nice to see the actual study.

Yeah it's a huge contradiction within redpill. Women are conniving and sneaky and evil. They know who the bad guys are and they choose them. At the same time, women are stupid as fuck and can't think for themselves. This is a good way to identify if an ideology is bullshit. When the enemy is both very smart and sneaky and evil, but also stupid.

Just in my own experience, refusing to be vulnerable (or limiting how vulnerable one will be) always backfires. I can't begin to count how many dating stories from people I've heard that went "I was closed off and they dumped me, now I want to try to be vulnerable around them, will they take me back?" Life comes with risks. If you can't be vulnerable around your partner, then who else can you be vulnerable around? They are the one person you should definitely trust.

Remember that to redpillers, women are both the prize/reward and the enemy they have to compete against. Anything that reminds the RP guy that a woman had sex with someone other than him deeply bothers him. A kid is a pretty obvious reminder. How dare she have sex with anyone? How dare she have freedom/no commitment from a boyfriend/husband? So they stick to these revenge fantasies that say she's used up, doomed to failure, she is of low value, ect. Not to mention, this whole post is operating under the assumption that literally everyone has a high sex drive. All men want to get laid and will bang anything that moves, while women are also just as thirsty but only want a certain kind of guy. It's fucking bullshit. There's plenty of people (both men and women) who are not trying to sleep with as many people as possible. Some people don't want sex that often, or even at all.
/r/ExRedPill06/04/21 12:40 PM

It sounds like you are buying into these assumptions and now want evidence to disprove it. This is backwards. Someone redpilled made the claim, they should provide evidence for it. Tinder (or any dating site) will give you a large quantity of options, but quality is hard to find. Meeting people (women in particular) in person is what I recommend. A girl will learn of your reputation, you'll know people in common, you might already have shared interests. Physical attraction doesn't matter as much when people know each other better. If you're looking for a solution to gender-related issues in the world, then no. Therapy isn't the solution. Ahh ok, I was having trouble understanding your position. Thank you for explaining. I agree that hopelessness is often the biggest feeling why someone might go off themselves. It depends if suicide is really a solution to problems. If it's a reliable solution, then I guess we have to logically say that men are great problem solvers. Projecting what, exactly? Remember that men are more likely to choose violent methods of suicide, like guns, while women are more likely to choose nonviolent methods like taking pills. The violent methods tend to be more effective. So the methods themselves lead to the higher rates. I never said all men go out and cheat. We are talking about statistics and trends here, right? Nothing we are saying applies to all men or all women. It's discussed all the time in this sub and in r/menslib. Men don't have the social support networks as well as women do, and therefore they rely on their wives for that reason. Getting divorced means they lose that support. Not only do men lose that social support, but men want their social support again after divorce. This probably explains why m…

According to a study conducted by wf-lawyers.com, about 50% of marriages in the United States end in divorce. Of those divorces, about 80% are initiated by women. That 50% figure is often cited and is likely to be on the high side, but it is illuminating that 80% of divorces are filed by the wife. These statistics suggest that more women are dissatisfied with their marriages, at least to the point of ending them than men, who may feel the need to continue on with the family union. Women are more likely to initiate divorces, but men are more likely to cheat. From what I read, women are basically less willing to put up with bullshit. They have higher standards for relationships. I think this makes sense when you put it all together. Men are less likely to have social support systems so they don't want to leave their wives (their only social support) even when there is unforgivable bullshit. So they might go cheat. I can dig up some sources if needed.

International studies have found highly endorsed reasons for divorce to be marrying too young, communication problems, incompatibility, spousal abuse, drug and alcohol use, religious differences, failures to get along, lack of love, lack of commitment, and childlessness, to name a few (Al Gharaibeh & Bromfield, 2012; Savaya & Cohen, 2003a, 2003b; Mbosowo, 1994). https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC4012696/ I wouldn't call that "growing apart", bro.

Alimony isn't even that common. It's rewarded in something like 10% of divorces, and even then it's not always lifetime payments. It's like one one lump sum or a number of payments for x amount of years. Redpill guys worry their heads off about something that rarely happens. Besides, if you never want to pay alimony, marry someone who can also support themselves.
/r/ExRedPill27/03/21 06:43 PM

Does it matter? Women exist on the internet and they have the freedom (just like everyone) to visit whatever sites they want. Besides, I'm looking forward to the day when there is a subreddit for guys only who want to leave redpill and/or blackpill. I can start taking bets on how long it lasts before it becomes another echo chamber.

Think about what makes couples stay together for many years. If it was only about attractiveness and playing the game to find the hottest person possible, then what is the incentive to stay together? Clearly factors involving personality, compatibility, and working through issues together are paramount. Also think about why it is that people break up/divorce. Struggling economy means people have less money and struggle with cost of living. People having less money and more financial woes means people are less likely to date, get married, have kids. Money is a major cause of stress in people's lives. And it's pretty well established that the economy and other problems in the world affects birth rates. (People have to get in bed with each other in the first place to have kids. This is the correlation.)

No worries, I like answering questions. Ask as many as you want! How someone (male or female) takes care for their appearance and health in their youth definitely starts to show in their 40s and 50s. Smoking, being overweight, lack of dental care, fatty foods and sugar, lack of exercise/being active, excessive drinking, lack of good grooming and style, lack of hygiene and cleanliness, and so on... all of these things age people by a LOT. They're all kind of old school when it comes to that. The typical "oh I'm sorry my hair is a mess today, oh I love your dress where did you get it?" I would say they have a typical view of their looks for women their age. Mostly it depends on a person's health. People can look great and feel great at any older age if they took care of themselves when they were younger. My dad is 60, he looks like shit because he didn't care for himself. My grandpa is 87, he says he feels like he's 60 and he looks very similar as to how he did at that age. It's because he took care of his health.

I'm nowhere near my 50s but I'm going off of what my older friends and relatives say. 50s is where people officially don't give a fuck anymore. They know who they are and what they want. If they took care of their health, then they're in good shape and it definitely shows at that age. Generally it's the height of someone's career. From my own observations, redpillers often project their issues onto women. Their insecurities make them feel deep down like they don't deserve a relationship themselves. They are picky about women. They know they are undesirable for some reason or another. They will make life hell for any woman who gets with them. I think they seem to project their sex drives onto women, too. Complaints of women being promiscuous say a lot about how promiscuous they want to be.

It's really messed up how they value women: for their looks, their virginity, their bodies, and whatever feminine roles a woman fulfills. Women never asked for it to be this way. Sure, plenty of women have taken advantage of it and plenty more have promoted patriarchy itself. But it doesn't mean women originally asked for it to be that way, and it's unfair to blame it all on modern women.
