So how did this work before that in the US? Was it possible to get a divorce, but one party had to take the "guilt" without any compensation? Was it not possible for both parteners to say, we are not happy we dont love each other anymore so lets get a divorce?

Many countries in europe have something like that, you either serve in the military or somewhere else like a hospital, a social organisation etc. you help the old, sick, handicapped and poor. As far as i know many such organisations in Austria would not work propperly without these people. It would be okay to have this for everone, male or female.

So has no one ever asked rapists in prison about their motives? A friend of mine, i cant get hold of him right now, told me it was mainly about people being "horny" but he sent me no link or anything, back then. He usualy backs things like these up. Personally I have not been abel to find anything good about motives.

Men are painted as agressors everywhere, so i think that most of the time it has nothing to do with malevolence but learned behaviour. You read statistics which you do not question, and in the end you believe them, thats how they get you.

Yes I did, but can it be linked to those groups, or anything comparable, or is it just some really bad way to get the message to the people? I ask cause I have seen stupid billboard ideas from everywhere. Unfortunately the most inconsistent, or patronizing are from Africa. Looking at the data abou Kenya all the mentioned problems ( in the posting above) should be something for a "different day" far in the future, or maybe for no day, never, since they are driving it over the top like everywhere.

I fear this might not be just bullshit but part of the local "culture" since we know that for example, in South Africa there is alot of rape going on and 10% of the victims are even toddlers. This may have a lot to do with general backwardnes.

It is just that I have not seen such high numbers anywhere else you would expect them. In the USA in 2007 there were 2,340 Murders by spouses, gfs or bfs and 70% of the victims were female -> 1638 ->10% of the total murders in the US (16,929 murders in the US in 2007). Yes thats close to 14% but the population of the USA is much larger. so in the US you have 1 woman murdered (domestic violecne) per 197.252,7 while in Russia it is 1 per 10.285,7 which means that in Russia a woman is 19 times mor …

Still a very high number. It should be possible to find a russian state agency which could help with providing more information.

Then it would fall under some sort of manslaughter. There should be statistics abot people killed in violent acts.

Yes, thats what I ment. But you still read that number everywhere, a number which is not possible. If 14k women were murdered in russia then domestic violence would be the main reason for murder in russia.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
