You can literally buy a big bag of frozen broccoli and another of greenbeans, get rice and chicken and eat a variety of meals that week. People are just lazy
/r/PurplePillDebate11/05/26 02:25 AM

If you spend your entire life trying to avoid annoying people you will be miserable. Just don’t be an asshole and no one cares.

Yes as a sexual partner. I’m still nice and polite and have great relationships with the men in my life. Not wanting to date them isn’t a moral failing. And love is about what you both do for each other, if a woman isn’t acting in loving ways to you, get out she doesn’t like you.
/r/PurplePillDebate10/05/26 10:44 PM

I think love is more valuable than sexual desire any day…if you think the opposite I find that very very odd
/r/PurplePillDebate10/05/26 10:28 PM
1

So you aren’t supposed to care about how a man makes you feel? Then what’s the point of a relationship? I’m in one for the love, explicitly for emotion and the feelings. What are you dating for?

I don’t know what young women haven’t received about her body and how to modify it. I’ve been receiving that message since I can remember. Why should I improve? I meet my bars and actually exceed them. I’d much rather be single than try to win the favor of some man
/r/PurplePillDebate10/05/26 10:18 PM

Because women have been asked to adapt and change themselves for men for forever and are over it. I’d rather live an independent life I love than settle. Full stop I don’t care about sex that much. It’s a nice treat not something I obsess over or even think about. The reason people say men need to raise the bar is because they are the sex that really wants to be in relationships and desire sex more. If you want something more than the other party you will have to work for it. And in my life no m…

That’s not how I really view it at all. I’m just not a super sexually visual person. I have to be activated for my sex drive to kick in. If no man wants to, that’s fine. I’m not desperate for a man to do so.
/r/PurplePillDebate10/05/26 09:55 PM

Most women I talk to get it. Once a guy initiates and turns me on, I’m all about it and love sex. But I and many women can go years without caring about it
/r/PurplePillDebate10/05/26 09:25 PM

It’s not hypergamy in my opinion. I know for myself I don’t ever get physically turned on the way men do. If a man doesn’t initiate I could go the rest of my life not thinking about sex. It’s not like I’m branch swinging I just don’t care as much about sex. So if you want to have sex with me you need to intiate, otherwise you are almost invisible, even objectively attractive men. I can look at one and think, he’s cute, and have zero desire for sex at all. Men don’t get this at all it seems
/r/PurplePillDebate10/05/26 09:09 PM

But that’s what my comment was about. Faking interests and completely giving up ones you love to attract women
/r/PurplePillDebate10/05/26 08:47 PM

It’s a free country and everyone is allowed to say whatever they want, including complaining
/r/PurplePillDebate10/05/26 07:50 PM
1

Then they can complain, the ones I know complaining though would still rather be single than with someone they don’t actually like very much. And I say no one should date anyone they don’t like
/r/PurplePillDebate10/05/26 07:40 PM
1

But they meet a man’s bar and that’s all that matters right? It’s a free market and if men are desperate enough to have no standards then that’s the market.
/r/PurplePillDebate10/05/26 07:14 PM
1

Except men are open and free to be bisexual and progressive women do celebrate them for it. You keep equating wanting to sleep with as policing behavior
/r/PurplePillDebate10/05/26 07:09 PM

You lost me? How are women politicizing bisexuality? Also if men don’t want to date bisexual women then they shouldn’t
/r/PurplePillDebate10/05/26 06:52 PM
1

My bar will be different than other women’s bars. I meet my own, and if they meet their own bar that’s what matters no? I don’t care if a single other woman on this planet fits my bar, I’m not trying to form a lifelong partnership with them
/r/PurplePillDebate10/05/26 06:51 PM

Again? Are we talking about women not wanting to sleep with bi men? I don’t consider that discrimination in the slightest just like I wouldn’t consider a straight man refusing to sleep with a trans woman as discrimination in the slightest. Just because I don’t want to sleep with someone doesn’t mean I am not rooting for them and want them to live their best life, their best life just isn’t with me
/r/PurplePillDebate10/05/26 06:48 PM

Again I don’t care if a man wants to date other men…I think they should! What does that have to do with women though. If a man wants to sleep with other men he is completely free to and most women will celebrate his freedom and willingness to be himself. You seem to think women are dating women as a way to compete and make men suffer, when maybe they just prefer that? Maybe they aren’t trying to police your sexuality but are just living their life in the best way for them. Also I don’t care if m…

For me it’s a man I’m attracted to, is pleasant to be around, funny, has a college degree, employed, not living at home/able to support one’s self. I’ve dated men that were 5’2 and guys that were 6’6. I don’t have strict physical bars. But I definitely have strict behavioral bars, how do you treat your mom, the food service workers, me when you’re overwhelmed. Do you yell when you get angry or are you able to process your emotions and communicate your feelings in a productive way? I fit all of t…

I’m not looking for most people to meet my bar. I’m looking for a single man out of 4 billion to meet my bar
/r/PurplePillDebate10/05/26 06:16 PM
1

Well I’m happily married so I found someone who met my bar. A man who was funny, sweet, helped around the house, and doesn’t expect me to one day be a stay at home mom. He’s a plumber with a bachelors degree and is extremely smart and fun to be around and on track to own his own business in a couple of years. He already outsmarts his current boss and catches business mistakes to help the company. He also just is the most handsome man in the world to me (and most women probably he’s a major catch…
/r/PurplePillDebate10/05/26 06:08 PM

Some Prince Charmings like heavy set women though, so who is to say she won’t meet her Prince if she holds out instead of settles. And again being alone is way better than settling
/r/PurplePillDebate10/05/26 05:58 PM

But I mean the bar does seem to be in hell. I’m happily married to a man who raised the bar. But I see what men send my friends and I remember what men used to say to me. A lot of men don’t meet a single positive standard and refuse to self reflect
/r/PurplePillDebate10/05/26 05:57 PM

I mean I meet my bar by a long shot, so I guess for me the bar does seem in hell. I cook, I clean, I have a masters degree, I have a 6 figure income, I am physically above average (healthy weight, cute face, huge tits). It seems to me a lot of men can even manage to wash their face in the morning…let alone lead a family.
/r/PurplePillDebate10/05/26 05:56 PM

I truly don’t give a shit about men’s happiness outside of the one man I chose to be with. I don’t really care about anyone’s happiness I don’t know.
/r/PurplePillDebate10/05/26 05:49 PM

You aren’t reading the chart. An ideal over mediocre and bad. If it isn’t something that makes my heart sing and gives me butterflies in my stomach why would I want it? Sounds like a waste of time
/r/PurplePillDebate10/05/26 05:49 PM

And I’d rather be alone than in a relationship I don’t actually want to be in just to check off a box saying I was picked. Fuck that. I’m going to be unapologetically myself and if I end up alone, I’m amazing company for myself.
/r/PurplePillDebate10/05/26 05:48 PM

Because if a woman can get her Prince Charming why wouldn’t she try? Also I’d rather be alone than with someone I don’t like, doesn’t matter how I look.
/r/PurplePillDebate10/05/26 05:47 PM

Sure but if all you want is a wet hole that says more than enough about you. If you’re that pathetic it says a lot about you. Have some self respect
/r/PurplePillDebate10/05/26 05:21 PM
1

That’s why I mentioned change being something that is gradual and takes decades. It will not help you today and you still have to pull yourself up by your bootstraps today.
/r/PurplePillDebate10/05/26 05:16 PM
1

I’m not putting stock in anything other than how reality has functioned. The system will not change, not drastically at least, with any urgency. It never does without extreme violence which I’m also against.
/r/PurplePillDebate10/05/26 05:11 PM

Oh I’m definitely thinking of a different podcast. I don’t keep up with what all those weirdos have to say. I haven’t listened to a podcast in almost 5 years
/r/PurplePillDebate10/05/26 05:05 PM

I don’t see how any other sentiment would work. Again unless we want to curtail individual freedoms which I am diametrically opposed to.
/r/PurplePillDebate10/05/26 05:04 PM
1

They can go to night classes to get out of Amazon, get into a trades apprenticeship to learn a skill to dig themselves out of poverty. It’s literally up to them. And like I said, a lot of people aren’t going to adapt and will be left behind. We simply have too many people. Again there are solutions but they would be authoritarian and anti freedom and those are non starters.
/r/PurplePillDebate10/05/26 04:52 PM
1

The system has changed and isn’t changing back. You either adapt or perish, there is no other option without restricting people’s rights, which in my opinion is a non starter.
/r/PurplePillDebate10/05/26 04:40 PM

Maybe take some responsibility for yourself…if you decided not to approach that’s on you.
/r/PurplePillDebate10/05/26 04:38 PM
1

Because not everyone is going to succeed. It’s a harsh and cruel world. I do what I can to help people in my community, but the reality is that the world is cold and cruel and you have to look out for yourself to some degree and take responsibility for all of your actions
/r/PurplePillDebate10/05/26 04:31 PM

This is just pathetic. They will take more from your life than they give. If you are that desperate for sex that’s just pathetic
/r/PurplePillDebate10/05/26 04:30 PM
2

I hold women in my actual day to day life accountable all the time. And tell them to their face when they are acting crazy and they do the same with me. I’m not responsible for random women on the internet I don’t know
/r/PurplePillDebate10/05/26 04:30 PM

Frozen veggies, rice, and chicken are super cheap and make great low calorie meals that can be made easily
/r/PurplePillDebate10/05/26 04:28 PM

But most men aren’t autistic, why are we acting like that’s the average person? Someone who has autism has a disability. That’s a completely separate conversation than what an average person can do to improve.
/r/PurplePillDebate10/05/26 04:28 PM

I mean having high self esteem is a game in some self delusion, but it makes people happier
/r/PurplePillDebate10/05/26 04:25 PM
1

Your face game can change drastically with better grooming habits. Picking a haircut that matches your face shape, making sure your face is clean and not filled with acne (yes if it’s bad enough you should go to the dermatologist and get professional help like almost every single woman i know who had bad acne did).
/r/PurplePillDebate10/05/26 04:23 PM

Because no one is coming to save anyone. The world is t going to get nicer. Maybe in little pockets but change takes decades. The only actual thing for a person to do is do it themselves. Make the life you want to live come hell or high water.
/r/PurplePillDebate10/05/26 04:16 PM

Yes but it’s on individuals still to make those good habits now. No one is going to save them. They have to build the skills and habits themselves. There is literally no other option
/r/PurplePillDebate10/05/26 04:14 PM

It’s really not. Are you weeping over any little thing? Sure that’s kind of a problem, but it’s a problem when women do the same thing. If you have a reason to cry and cry it’s not looked at as weird. The only man I thought was a little weird for crying was when a guy cried for months over the death of a celebrity that he had never mentioned even liking before…that was too much for me, but I wouldn’t be friends with a girl like that either.
/r/PurplePillDebate10/05/26 04:11 PM
2

I mean it’s not universal because I’ve held my husband while he cried. It made me feel closer to him and love him more. Just because you hang around shitty women doesn’t make it a universal trait
/r/PurplePillDebate10/05/26 04:09 PM

Yes and most of those hookups are with people from class that they know. Not randoms. Usually they’ve been flirting for weeks before it happens.
/r/PurplePillDebate10/05/26 04:06 PM

Right, these are objectively low quality women
/r/PurplePillDebate10/05/26 04:04 PM

It’s a lot more prevalent and I believe that all men would admit to feeling this way if they thought they could get away with it. If they could have multiple wives and never have to worry about keeping one woman happy because you have 3 more lined up.
/r/PurplePillDebate10/05/26 03:54 PM

This is your worldview and damn is it sad…couldn’t be me, I have plenty of self esteem and so do most of my friends. I’m awesome in just about every way I care about. I love myself and would be perfectly happy alone. I can’t imagine basing my self esteem on what other people thought of me instead of what I think of my own amazing accomplishments
/r/PurplePillDebate10/05/26 03:53 PM

They would hate me, I made my husband wait a month. Granted the second two weeks I was on my period and we still made out and stuff. But I tried a one night stand one time and hated it, I’ll never do it again and I make men wait
/r/PurplePillDebate10/05/26 03:52 PM

The podcast where they bring on only fans whores and never a woman who has anything of substance going on in life? Color me shocked those women are horrible vapid and hollow
/r/PurplePillDebate10/05/26 03:50 PM
2

Thank you, he’d be dumped so fast. I don’t get why men put up with shitty behavior then act like they weren’t actively participating in putting up with shitty behavior
/r/PurplePillDebate10/05/26 03:49 PM

Do they react badly to someone being vulnerable to do they react badly to a man expressing his emotions in a volatile and scary way?
/r/PurplePillDebate10/05/26 03:48 PM

Not really…most women I know have been there for their partners when they cried. The only times I’ve seen men being vulnerable and getting left is when they only know how to express emotions with anger and volatility instead of having a conversation about your feelings and where they stem from. But when a guy opens up about feelings and does so in a nonvolatile way women tend to view it in a positive light.
/r/PurplePillDebate10/05/26 03:48 PM
1

They did ask for some experience, unpaid internships, a college degree in the field, etc
/r/PurplePillDebate10/05/26 03:37 PM

Lots of men want that, they claim to be jealous of men who can do that and who manipulate women into that situation. Many men would love to be the man in a harem of women. And are obviously shamed for it so they don’t always voice it, expect when they are anonymous
/r/PurplePillDebate10/05/26 03:32 PM
2

He does, but everyone else has the right to think he’s a major asshole for how he behaves
/r/PurplePillDebate10/05/26 03:30 PM
1

No it’s really not. It should be but it’s not. Most women never experience an orgasm even alone, so sexual comparability doesn’t even come into some people’s minds at all.
/r/PurplePillDebate10/05/26 03:30 PM
1

So yes you are a bad person then.
/r/PurplePillDebate10/05/26 03:29 PM

But trying new things isn’t the same as pretending to have interests that you don’t. Even as an adult I try new things all the time to see if I like it. That’s just normal adult behavior…but you shouldn’t completely drop your interests and change your entire being for someone. How are you going to keep up with the charade your whole life?
/r/PurplePillDebate10/05/26 03:26 PM

Because they aren’t actually lonely. They want sex. Say what you mean instead of trying to manipulate people
/r/PurplePillDebate10/05/26 03:24 PM

Usually for wanting multiple partners at once…no one cares if you are upfront with women and everyone is consenting and no one being used or lied to about a situation.
/r/PurplePillDebate10/05/26 03:24 PM

Men really don’t get it. They didn’t have their parents tracking their phones and thinking anytime they weren’t in their dorm they were fucking a dude. Hell I got a call from my mom telling me to stop being a whore because the tracker said I was off campus while I was in my dorm room, had to put my roommate on the phone and my mom still called me a whore for months…our sexuality is extremely policed…
/r/PurplePillDebate10/05/26 03:21 PM

I don’t see anyone getting mad a men who are able to have a healthy consensual sex life with people within a 10 year age gap. The only time people seem to get mad at men is when they manipulate people to get sex from them. Which is valid. That has nothing to do with disliking a man’s sexuality and everything to do with how he behaves
/r/PurplePillDebate10/05/26 03:18 PM

So be a loser with no internal principles of self esteem. Got it
/r/PurplePillDebate10/05/26 03:16 PM

I deal with people I don’t like in my professional life, but not my personal one. If you don’t add to my life why would I spend time with you?
/r/PurplePillDebate10/05/26 03:15 PM

Your reasons for manipulation don’t make it not manipulation and inherently wrong
/r/PurplePillDebate10/05/26 03:13 PM

It changes what you need to do if you actually want a relationship. Because again you aren’t competing with other men but her peace. No one is obligated to date anyone
/r/PurplePillDebate10/05/26 03:11 PM

Honestly if someone is an abusive person I don’t want them to ever date anyone and I hope they end up alone and continue to be their miserable selves alone
/r/PurplePillDebate10/05/26 03:05 PM

This is silly, everyone is constantly changing. The advice means don’t drastically pretend to be someone you aren’t. It never meant don’t improve in any areas of your life.
/r/PurplePillDebate10/05/26 03:05 PM

Man that has to be the most disingenuous reading of the be yourself advice. It was always meant to be the best version of yourself but don’t change who you are at your core, like your interests…
/r/PurplePillDebate10/05/26 03:04 PM

Alone is not the worst thing that can happen…a bad relationship is
/r/PurplePillDebate10/05/26 02:59 PM

There aren’t many quality people at all. Most people aren’t quality people. And you are looking for one needle in a haystack of people who won’t be compatible with you. It’s never going to be easy
/r/PurplePillDebate10/05/26 02:57 PM

Man you make men seem so gross in your comments. Are women just holes to you? Like Jesus Christ…
/r/PurplePillDebate10/05/26 02:56 PM

So you don’t have principles, got it
/r/PurplePillDebate10/05/26 02:50 PM

But this is a lover/partner we are talking about, not a coworker…
/r/PurplePillDebate10/05/26 02:45 PM

We are free to complain as much as we like, that’s what free speech is…just like men are allowed to complain. You can’t control anyone’s reaction to your complaints though
/r/PurplePillDebate10/05/26 02:39 PM

Yall really don’t get it. Ideal relationship > single > mediocre relationship > bad relationship. This single and mediocre sometimes are reversed depending on the individual
/r/PurplePillDebate10/05/26 02:38 PM
1

I don’t think all men are bad. But only one man in the world is the one for me, most aren’t going to make the cut.
/r/PurplePillDebate10/05/26 02:35 PM

So the men are lying and being manipulative? They aren’t really lonely just want to get laid?
/r/PurplePillDebate10/05/26 02:33 PM

I mean that’s your personal life goal though…not everyone’s. Outside of making it easier to raise potential children, I’ve never really cared about ending up in a relationship after I was like 16. I’d much rather be single than in a relationship I don’t want to be in, doesn’t matter what I bring to the table if he’s not what I want he’s not what I want, and I’d rather be single than with someone I don’t want. A lot of guys do not seem to understand this mentality at all
/r/PurplePillDebate10/05/26 02:29 PM
1

Nah. It’s not hyperbole. My late brother was a homeless drug addict and had no problem getting laid. But he was getting laid by other drug addicted women…he was even found naked in a woman’s tent when they found the body. She didn’t call or anything when he passed. These aren’t the kinds of women you want to be with…
/r/PurplePillDebate10/05/26 02:21 PM
1

I mean women aren’t a monolith. There are shitty irresponsible women out there too. You probably don’t want to date those women…
/r/PurplePillDebate10/05/26 02:20 PM
2

Chubby chasers and feeders are definitely a thing. Some men love obese women. The folds do it for them…I don’t get it personally but it doesn’t have to float my boat only theirs
/r/PurplePillDebate10/05/26 02:18 PM
1

Ok? If you want to sleep with women though you will need to initiate. Most women do not have a similar internal sex drive compared to men. I can and have gone years without even thinking about sex, but when a man I’m into initiates I can turn into a sex crazed woman. But I’ve never in my life seen a man and wanted to sleep with him. At most it’s been “he’s cute” and then forget they exist.
/r/PurplePillDebate10/05/26 02:17 PM

I truly don’t know what you are talking about. Most women in my social circles make equal (within about $5k) or more by $10k plus than their spouses. The only women I know who make less than their spouses are teachers and nurses, and it’s a sacrificial important job…I personally make double what my husband makes and am the primary breadwinner. He’s an amazing partner though and I love him with every fiber of my being. Most of us have comforted partners while they cried especially during hard mom…
/r/PurplePillDebate10/05/26 02:14 PM
2

I mean id rather just be single…why would i chose to be in a relationship like that? I love my own company…why would i waste my life serving someone else?
/r/PurplePillDebate10/05/26 02:06 PM

I mean, if I enjoy my own company and am happy, a man isn’t competing with other men…they are competing with my happiness while alone. If you don’t add to that happiness, it doesn’t matter how great you are on paper, I don’t want it.
/r/PurplePillDebate10/05/26 02:01 PM

I see tons of obese women paired up and married. There are guys who are extremely into obese women and treat them like queens.
/r/PurplePillDebate10/05/26 01:54 PM
2

Most women don’t watch porn anyway. We read it. I hate watching porn, it produced disgust in me not sexual desire. And I know many women who feel the exact same way.
/r/PurplePillDebate10/05/26 01:49 PM

Sure but they also get plenty of rejection and just let that rejection roll off their backs and move onto the next one. I’ve rejected tons of men because they acted like assholes even though they were very attractive. The men who are attractive realize it’s a numbers game and don’t mind 50 rejections if they get one yes.
/r/PurplePillDebate10/05/26 01:44 PM

Yes some people won’t get picked…that’s just reality. And some who get picked will be bad people because some women are also bad people.
/r/PurplePillDebate10/05/26 01:39 PM

Ok but are we considering the quality of the girlfriend? Do you really want to be with a person who views other people that way and would be into Chris brown? Plenty of women aren’t and think he’s despicable.
/r/PurplePillDebate10/05/26 01:37 PM
1

But attractive men are also rejected at large numbers. They tend to be self confident and brush it off and move onto the next one. It only takes one yes in a night to get laid even if you get 50 nos
/r/PurplePillDebate10/05/26 01:23 PM
1

People act like attractive men aren’t rejected. But attractive men get rejected a lot, but it only takes one yes to have a successful evening, even if you got 50 other Nos.
/r/PurplePillDebate10/05/26 01:22 PM
1

I don’t think men have to initiate, they just will get less results. As a woman I’ve never had an internal sex drive. It just doesn’t exist for me. I can look at an objectively sexy man and have zero physical desire beyond just looking. Men can’t seem to comprehend that. If it was up to me to initiate I would probably die a happy single cat lady, but I enjoy my own company a lot so…for some reason men seem to be less satisfied alone, I assume it has to do with a stronger internal sex drive
/r/PurplePillDebate10/05/26 01:20 PM
1

It was always happening, men just didn’t view it as a negative. I know men who were raped by adult women in the 70s but they would never consider it rape. The hot milf would invite the highschool football team, feed them liquor then take one to the bedroom while her husband was on vacation. But none of the men would even entertain the idea that what happened to them was rape. This view is changing thankfully and we are now learning about it. But it was always there just hidden. Women can be mons…
/r/PurplePillDebate10/05/26 01:17 PM
0

Ummmm? No women haven’t? Under every post about a female teacher doing this almost all the women are calling her a pedo, while the men are claiming to be jealous of the victim…
/r/PurplePillDebate10/05/26 01:15 PM

But you aren’t competing with other men, you are competing with a woman’s peace. And if you don’t add to the peace and only take it away then you aren’t going to get into any relationship with the kind of woman worth being with.
/r/PurplePillDebate10/05/26 01:14 PM

If that’s what men want to meme about then they are as terrible as the radical feminists claim they are. Not doing any favors by downplaying their bad behavior
/r/PurplePillDebate10/05/26 01:08 PM
2

Why do you assume people in the past were in “loving relationships” most past marriages were for money and status, not love. Marrying for love is a very recent phenomenon
/r/PurplePillDebate10/05/26 01:07 PM

As a woman who finds men attractive, me staring and ogling at a man doesn’t mean I actually want to sleep with them. It means they’re nice to look at.
/r/PurplePillDebate10/05/26 01:02 PM
2

Yall keep saying we’ve been radicalized. You know who radicalized me? The 60 year old men that hit on me at my grandpas wedding rehearsal dinner when I was 13. The guys who would surround me and bump the air until I cried for them to leave me alone. The guys who would follow me home and get mad when I acted wary. The guys who would threaten to photoshop my face into porn to send to my dad. A feminist has never radicalized me. The way I was treated by men definitely radicalized me though.

Hell when my good friend/colleague had a baby and realized that our research university didn’t have a single baby changing station in a males bathroom, I was a huge advocate. I called the deans, I made fliers, I helped a lot and we got some baby changing stations installed in some of the men’s restrooms. What I haven’t done is gone way out of my way to make dating easier and most men don’t care unless there’s a possibility their dick gets wet
/r/PurplePillDebate10/05/26 12:41 PM

Society is changing at such a rapid pace you either adapt or you get left behind. Believing what you were told as a child when the world is changing at such a rapid rate is a sign of a bad future partner.
/r/PurplePillDebate10/05/26 12:38 PM
1

Yes it absolutely does. Men have a lot of power in dating, they have physical power and as someone who is 5’1 and 110 lbs, I can be physically overpowered by just about anyone over 15. I’ve had men literally pick me up and move me to other rooms and joke about raping me. That’s power too.
/r/PurplePillDebate10/05/26 12:35 PM

They refuse to get that most women don’t have strong sex drives. If a man doesn’t initiate I can go years without sex and not even think about it. I’ve done it.
/r/PurplePillDebate10/05/26 12:32 PM

Idk women tend to love gay and bi dudes. Even if they don’t date them they tend to be good friends.
/r/PurplePillDebate10/05/26 12:27 PM

“Sperm is cheap, eggs are not” also comes from how they are extracted from the body. A man just has to jizz in a cup to donate a sample of sperm, a woman has to have major invasive surgery to harvest eggs. One will always be more expensive because it takes more resources to harvest.
/r/PurplePillDebate10/05/26 12:22 PM

There’s definitely a middle ground. I don’t want a complete pushover with zero convictions but I also don’t want someone who is constantly arguing.

Can yall not see that there is a middle ground?

Gentle parenting is great if the parent is able to actually maintain consistency and boundaries, but most parents are terrible at that and just default to permissive parenting instead of gentle parenting
/r/PurplePillDebate10/05/26 11:45 AM

I mean this is anecdotal, but I received less corporal punishment from my parents than my brother, but because them being disappointed in me was a big punishment to me, I would cry for days. It wasn’t a punishment at all to my brother, he didn’t care what they thought and was going to do what he wanted. His punishments were harsher because we wouldn’t relent after getting the “we’re disappointed in you” lecture, he kept going and digging a bigger hole with harsher punishment

Kids had much less time a day in school and most kids didn’t even go to school for much of history, it was a thing for the privileged. Universal school for all kids is very new in history.

Fully agree, I’ve had great flirty chemistry with some very objectively unattractive men, didn’t workout for religious reasons for the one that I actually wanted to date. It’s only when men, hot or unattractive, treat me like a piece of meat not a full human being that the objectification starts
/r/PurplePillDebate10/05/26 11:27 AM
7

I mean in modern life who else would be a woman’s predator? It’s almost exclusively men from our own species causing us physical harm
/r/PurplePillDebate10/05/26 11:19 AM

All marriages have ups and downs that’s the reality of living with just one person. That doesn’t mean the marriage is overall unhappy. Relationships require both people to compromise and change throughout the relationship. If you expect to get into a relationship and it always be happy you are setting yourself up for disappointment. The key is being with someone you actually like and those down times won’t be catastrophic
/r/PurplePillDebate30/04/26 03:02 PM

Do you go talk to actual women? Because yes almost every woman has a story. And I didn’t say a story of rape. I said a story of harassment, groping or assault. Most women experience this between 13-22 and you don’t have to be a model to experience this treatment.
/r/PurplePillDebate28/04/26 10:11 AM
2

It applies to most women. Almost every woman has a story about being groped, harassed, or assaulted by men.
/r/PurplePillDebate28/04/26 10:02 AM
2

lol! No it comes from lived experience. It comes from being hit on by your grand father’s friends starting at 11. It comes from not being able to walk down the street without someone honking at you. It comes from getting your ass grabbed every time you go to the bar by a stranger. It comes from the guys that go ballistic when you say you arent interested and yell at you or call you a whore.
/r/PurplePillDebate28/04/26 07:58 AM

But not all women demand this…you’re building a strawman of women…
/r/PurplePillDebate28/04/26 07:31 AM

I mean toxic women do definitely exist. There are terrible people in every demographic. I don’t think most women deny that some women are horrible. But what does get said, is that if all the women you are dating or attract are toxic, there is a common denominator.
/r/PurplePillDebate23/04/26 04:31 PM

People still get married because they are in love. I also don’t know anyone who actually says women get NOTHING from a marriage or relationship. I see the juice isn’t worth the squeeze and they are giving more they are getting in a relationship, but not that they get nothing.
/r/PurplePillDebate09/04/26 03:51 PM

There are boring men and boring women out there. It’s silly to call a whole gender boring. Hell people go through stages of being boring. My favorite hobbies are baking bread, water color and bird watching…very boring old people hobbies. I’ve also bungee jumped, done arctic and Antarctic expeditions, worked with carnivorous plants, and worked with exotic animals. But if you met me today you would probably think I’m boring.

People will always lie. That’s just a fact of life. You can either accept that or you can’t. It’s not a moral failure but it will make your life infinitely harder.

I’m a very short woman and have a baby face, so I come across as extremely innocent. During my party phase I would show up to class stoned but the obvious stoner kid in class was shocked when I asked if he wanted to smoke after working on a lab project together, said I looked like I’d never done anything wrong in my life (lol I was a functional alcoholic at the time, several years of recovery now). But because I’m adorable I am trusted almost anywhere, people approach me for directions, life adv…
/r/PurplePillDebate02/04/26 11:36 AM

Every child was lied to about almost everything…these are hard concepts for children and most adults would rather lie to kids instead of tell them the harsh truth. How many dogs really went to live on a farm…Santa isn’t real…you aren’t the most special person on the planet…it’s our responsibility as grown adults now to parse what was true and what wasn’t. Rehashing the lies gets old at a certain point, you have to get over it
/r/PurplePillDebate02/04/26 11:28 AM

Right? Most of the men I know in the trades can barely read. The few guys with college degrees are running the show. Most of the boots on the ground work are guys that barely passed highschool.
/r/PurplePillDebate01/04/26 07:07 PM

It’s not racist to reject someone because you aren’t attracted to their race…but if he’s being racist I would hope he rejects that woman instead of subjecting her to a lifetime of issues
/r/PurplePillDebate01/04/26 06:48 PM

Black bears are naturally skittish…it’s just how they are…they are known to run away from raccoons as well. They don’t like fighting…even in the middle of the woods they would rather run away than fight me. You obviously don’t know much about black bears. The only time to worry is if it’s a mama and cubs. Then you’re fucked I’ll give you that
/r/PurplePillDebate29/03/26 09:51 PM
3

I’ve said multiple times that I would rather be alone with a black bear than a man. A black bear is more likely to be scared of me than the other way around. I would much prefer to be around a man than a grizzly bear. I grew up around black bears and feel confident in my ability to survive an encounter with one unharmed

No? What does that have to do with society overall being dishonest? A few moments of clarity at inflection points doesn’t make society overall honest. We are in the age of alternative facts….
/r/PurplePillDebate26/03/26 10:58 AM
1

Because humans are not honest creatures. There will always be someone who will lie to get ahead. Always. It’s a part of human nature and will be with us till the end of time. We can’t even admit that there isn’t a magic man in the sky pulling the strings…we will never be an honest society.
/r/PurplePillDebate26/03/26 04:09 AM

Um if I die I want my parents to move on and try to be happy. What child would want their parent to be depressed and miserable for the rest of their life in the tragic case of death. That’s so selfish
/r/PurplePillDebate26/03/26 03:58 AM
2

I’d be devastated if I found out my husband was with me and unhappy. I’d rather he leave and us both move on and be able to live a happy life. People grow apart. It’s ok, it happens. It is sad but life moves on.

I think you might actually be insane…you need to take a break from the internet
/r/PurplePillDebate26/03/26 03:53 AM

Idk what you’re talking about. When I walk outside almost all the men and women are fat slobs.
/r/PurplePillDebate26/03/26 03:24 AM

Idk even at the “non-drug bars” in my college town and hometown you would walk into the bathroom and people would be doing coke. Again just cause you aren’t invited doesn’t mean it isn’t happening
/r/PurplePillDebate25/03/26 11:48 AM

They just weren’t including you…people were sneaking lsd and mdma in water bottles at clubs and raves when I was in my 20s party phase. People probably just thought you would narc and didn’t share
/r/PurplePillDebate25/03/26 02:24 AM

I don’t criticize men as a whole either. There are bad men and bad women with a lot of varying bad traits. I think it’s stupid to generalize half of the population.
/r/PurplePillDebate24/03/26 04:26 PM
3

I mean it depends on the individual no? Just like men. I think most women could show guys some more social grace instead of letting trauma from other men influence them. But I also get it…I’ve been raped and sexually assaulted. It takes a lot to get over that and see men as people again
/r/PurplePillDebate24/03/26 04:12 PM

For actions…not just for having boobs…
/r/PurplePillDebate24/03/26 11:29 AM

My husband stayed at home for awhile and I loved it and didn’t want him to go back to work. I love my job and worked extremely hard to get here, I wouldn’t quit for the world…it’s my life’s purpose…he was amazing around the house and I worked from home so we got to flirt all day, it was amazing. But he wasn’t fulfilled and I completely get that, I wouldn’t be fulfilled being stay at home either. I’d rather him be happy and split chores so he works
/r/PurplePillDebate24/03/26 02:42 AM

And the potential to have to care for a baby/child if you are attacked or the guy you’re with up and leaves.
/r/PurplePillDebate24/03/26 02:32 AM

Because some women are toxic and/or mentally ill…women are people and not perfect
/r/PurplePillDebate24/03/26 02:31 AM
22

Right? Where’s the person stalking you? Where’s the constant ass grabs by strangers? Where’s the being constantly belittled or assumed to be an idiot because you have boobs…where’s the “I’m gonna photoshop your face into porn and send it to your dad” when rejected?
/r/PurplePillDebate24/03/26 02:26 AM

Church, board games, clubs, group fitness classes. Lots of places where you might interact with the opposite gender and not be trying to date or make real friends

People are beyond retarded…yes they can be that out of the loop

I didn’t say it was ok. It’s mean and a vile thing to do to someone. But they attack “gets lots of pussy” or “virgin” because they know it will hurt the person they are attacking. They are trying to inflict pain and will push pain points
/r/PurplePillDebate17/03/26 05:39 PM
-4

Because they know that insult will hurt him the most. Because men care about that
/r/PurplePillDebate17/03/26 05:18 PM

This is completely reasonable
/r/PurplePillDebate17/03/26 03:20 PM

Usually it’s when someone is in a manic like episode and a potential danger to themselves. Most people don’t experience these episodes long and some intensive GOOD care (hard to come by sadly) can really help someone who is suicidal.
/r/PurplePillDebate17/03/26 10:24 AM

This was the first thing my therapist said to me…
/r/PurplePillDebate17/03/26 10:22 AM

Sure but your baggage is still yours to deal with. Like mine is with my alcoholic mom who beat me almost every night from 6-18. Our abuse isn’t our fault but it’s our responsibility. I can’t blame anyone for not wanting to deal with me when I was at my most raw
/r/PurplePillDebate17/03/26 10:13 AM

Nah I tell men all the time there are trash women and to avoid them at all costs. Most just want to get laid though so don’t listen
/r/PurplePillDebate16/03/26 07:21 PM

Well my MIL was in the military and served over seas too
/r/PurplePillDebate15/03/26 08:48 PM

Nah this sub is just fun. It’s entertaining for sure.
/r/PurplePillDebate15/03/26 12:25 PM

Children are more important than adults full stop.
/r/PurplePillDebate15/03/26 11:23 AM

They refuse to consider this. Also women are often pushed out of these jobs when they join. I know several women who started welding and were bullied and sexually harassed constantly until they quit. I know others that tried to find plumbing apprenticeships but none of the companies around wanted a girl for anything other than dispatch
/r/PurplePillDebate15/03/26 11:19 AM
10

But one woman saying something and another woman doing the opposite isn’t hypocrisy…it’s two separate people holding two individual opinions…women aren’t a hive mind
/r/PurplePillDebate15/03/26 11:16 AM
5

No? My parents made me feel this way and my own independence make me feel this way. I make 6 figures, have a fabulous community/support system, amazing friends who I see almost everyday. I really don’t NEED a man at all. Wanting the perfect one is a different story but most don’t make my life better. If a man doesn’t improve my life I don’t want him in it
/r/PurplePillDebate15/03/26 11:08 AM
2

I’m saying men aren’t food and food is required men are not. Why would I settle for a man like I would for food considering I don’t have to have a man?
/r/PurplePillDebate14/03/26 11:41 PM
2

If I had infinite money I could for sure live of off lobster and ragu and probably would maybe add some other fancy stuff because I like rich fancy food. But again not comparable to men because I have to eat food even if I don’t want to where I don’t have to fuck men if I don’t want to
/r/PurplePillDebate14/03/26 11:14 PM
3

Yep they want to lie to themselves and be lied to.
/r/PurplePillDebate14/03/26 11:10 PM

My husband does blue collar work and almost all of the men are married…even the young ones. The neets are the ones having the most trouble not most average or above blue collar worker
/r/PurplePillDebate14/03/26 10:55 PM
2

I mean they need to eat to live so of course you would make them eat something else. But in reality you don’t need a relationship to live and if they don’t like anyone and are happy alone that’s their prerogative
/r/PurplePillDebate14/03/26 10:49 PM
7

But I have to eat to live I don’t need a man to live. So if I can’t have what I want I don’t want anything
/r/PurplePillDebate14/03/26 10:47 PM

I don’t know anyone that calls 35 a young adult. Even 30. My church has a “young-ish adultish group” but the joke is that they aren’t really young but aren’t old yet either. It’s people in their 30s-early 40s. No one is seriously going around calling 30 year olds young adults.
/r/PurplePillDebate14/03/26 11:52 AM

Ya this is true. My mil did this with her sons.
/r/PurplePillDebate14/03/26 11:25 AM

If he’s treating them poorly and making my friend unhappy then 100% I will tell her (or him I have male friends too) that she should leave. This is a basic part of being a decent friend, looking out for each other

30 isn’t even middle age…unless old has no meaning…
/r/PurplePillDebate14/03/26 10:57 AM

In college guys and girls in our dorm lobby would sit together and go through each others potential matches swiping together, laughing. People take the dating apps way too seriously
/r/PurplePillDebate13/03/26 02:52 PM
5

But they obviously aren’t interested in that person. Otherwise they would be chatting with them. That’s kind of the whole point. Also lots of people use dating apps casually and just swipe for fun…
/r/PurplePillDebate13/03/26 02:37 PM

That’s a lot of assumptions to make…my husband is the best person I’ve dated and the most handsome…
/r/PurplePillDebate13/03/26 01:33 PM
1

But the premise of the thread in question was “what do you love about your husband or boyfriend that isn’t physical” so of course it was gonna be a bunch of positive stuff…that was the premise of the question
/r/PurplePillDebate13/03/26 10:04 AM

If they aren’t responding it’s because they aren’t interested and swiped on a whim or while drunk then sobered up

Same I think my husband is the hottest man alive!
/r/PurplePillDebate12/03/26 09:32 AM

Right? I mentioned that I loved that my husband kissing my cheeks a lot in a row and gives what he calls chicken kisses that make me giggle and that he pulls his weight at home by helping with dishes and mopping the floors. Like what about that is deception?
/r/PurplePillDebate12/03/26 09:31 AM

How is answering a question posed in a thread shoving it down someone’s throat?
/r/PurplePillDebate12/03/26 09:21 AM
5

Why would you assume that about our SO?
/r/PurplePillDebate12/03/26 09:20 AM

Ok but why go on a thread asking women why they love their husbands then?
/r/PurplePillDebate12/03/26 09:15 AM
3

Ok but why go to a thread asking that question? It makes no sense. Do these men want to be miserable and were they hate reading the thread?
/r/PurplePillDebate12/03/26 09:14 AM
10

I started coming to this sub when I was single back in 2017…it’s a very interesting sub.
/r/PurplePillDebate12/03/26 09:12 AM
1

I’m more just curious why people have a negative reaction to love, on a thread asking women what they love about their spouse. I’m baffled. Who cares about karma points of whatever
/r/PurplePillDebate12/03/26 01:26 AM
5

But the op of the thread asked the question. That was the whole point of that thread, what do the women on this sub love about their husbands other than physical
/r/PurplePillDebate11/03/26 11:42 PM
8

But the question posed in the thread was what do you love or like about your husband or spouse that isn’t physical…
/r/PurplePillDebate11/03/26 11:26 PM
5

I don’t care about the points. It’s more that someone is mad at people being in love or having a negative reaction to it. I just don’t get it, I’ve never felt that way towards couples before
/r/PurplePillDebate11/03/26 10:40 PM
10

lol who is downvoting me loving my husband 😂
/r/PurplePillDebate11/03/26 03:54 PM
15

I love so much about my husband! I love the way he snuggles me in the morning, I love when he kisses my cheeks a bunch, he does a thing he calls chicken kisses and the crack me up, I love how goofy he is- I’m always giggling and it’s hard to stay mad at him because he knows how to make me laugh and crack a smile even when I want to be mad. I love that he helps around the house and does things like mop the floor, laundry, and dishes and preps my coffee for me before work. I love that he’s honest …
/r/PurplePillDebate11/03/26 02:36 PM
1

Yep. I grew up in the Bible Belt and was forced to take two separate manners classes where we were explicitly taught how to behave for men. How to throw parties to support our husbands. How to do make up to please our future husbands. It was a lot.
/r/PurplePillDebate11/03/26 11:44 AM
7

For me it’s because I was put in manners classes that had specific sections on how to treat and please men. And it was horrible. And very gendered. A lot of girls went through stuff like this. The idea of needing to teach little girls how to be good to their partners without explaining what you mean by that is going to raise hackles for a lot of women. We don’t want to train little girls to be servants
/r/PurplePillDebate11/03/26 11:41 AM
12

Negative because a lot of those options are mean…even the mid attractive guys. If you don’t want to meet up right away and want to message for a day or two you get called a whore…I had a guy threaten to photoshop my face into porn and send it to my dad. It gets really fucked up really fast if you don’t want to sleep with a guy within 10 minutes of messaging

And I mean of course there are bad people that lie…

Idk we always have sex on our vacations. I can see where it would be frustrating if vacations were centered around sex, and not adventures. That can be a lot of pressure and take the fun out of it. But one of the fun parts of vacations is having sex in a new location.
/r/PurplePillDebate10/03/26 05:28 PM

And then these men wonder why women don’t want to be with them
/r/PurplePillDebate10/03/26 05:24 PM

I’ve literally never seen this argument brought up…I’ve seen that a full work schedule sucks, it’s sucks for everyone. But I’ve never heard that working for 40 hours is harder for women due to their cycle…where are you seeing this?
/r/PurplePillDebate10/03/26 05:13 PM

Because attraction isn’t a science, there are no guarantees of success. My advice would be to work on social skills and how to be relaxed and natural when talking to women. I mean there’s the grooming basics, make sure your haircut actually accentuates your features, a sense of style…but again all of that is subjective…what style one girl likes might be a complete turn off to others. So try to stick with a middle ground between fashionable and what feels authentic to you. But you could do everyt…

It’s vibes…it’s chemistry…it’s the spark between two compatible people when they meet. It’s part of knowing how to flirt in general. There is no one sized fits all. What works on one women will be repulsive to the next. Your question has no answer

So my friend group doesn’t but I’ve been a part of one like this…the girls who think this way are usually very manipulative and cultivate friend groups to make themselves look better, not because they enjoy the other women’s company. And they usually want a couple of really pretty girls (not quite as pretty as them) and a couple mid girls who make them look even prettier, but no uggos. These are what most would consider bad people

This viewing my friends as above or below me is exceptionally strange. I love my friends for who they are, I wouldn’t be friends with them otherwise. And women who aren’t my friends aren’t necessarily bad, we just don’t vibe. I also don’t view my younger siblings as above or below me and I don’t view my older cousins that way. We’re all people with great qualities and some flaws. The only time hierarchy matters is if we are planning an event and someone needs to actually do the planning or if we…

Some women are bad people too. You should try and avoid those women.
/r/PurplePillDebate08/03/26 12:43 PM

Sure most men aren’t going to do it for a singular woman. But women have varied tastes
/r/PurplePillDebate08/03/26 12:36 PM

Yep bluepill is just “mainstream dating advice” which is so varied and based on subculture to be absolutely meaningless. I guarantee that my “mainstream” dating advice in small town Alabama was very different than what a girl in LA got as mainstream dating advice.
/r/PurplePillDebate08/03/26 12:27 PM

Sure, it’s to help you deal with your life in a healthy way. Learn to be content with the life you have. Is that a bad thing?

Ok but they aren’t in the prison…the men aren’t getting to be with the women in prison. Prison isn’t luxury there aren’t women to fuck in prison. So again what are you talking about?

There are women in prison with men? Where?
/r/PurplePillDebate06/03/26 03:06 PM

They aren’t though. You can look up prison conditions and they aren’t luxury at all.

US prisons aren’t luxury? What are you talking about?
/r/PurplePillDebate06/03/26 02:45 PM

What are you talking about? I was just pointing out that the point of jail isn’t to rehab so it’s silly to expect them to be rehabilitated when they come out of jail.

So someone can never redeem themselves and change? Thats pretty bleak

No, I’m an alcoholic. I have to take every day a step at a time. It’s a lifelong recovery and requires you to completely change and keep working the steps/whatever was working for your recovery. But all this work is much better than being who I was when I was a drunk. I love who I am these years later. I can look back at my old self and love her too. Jail isn’t meant to rehab. It’s not designed to rehab, at least not in the US. It doesn’t teach people new skills to cope with life and live a better life. All it is, is a punishment. And a punishment more likely to cause psychological damage. It’s not treatment. Prison really can’t be compared to addiction treatment, they aren’t remotely the same

Some might think he’s an asshole because he will not be a doormat and he isn’t afraid to speak the truth even if it might hurt some feelings when necessary. But he also doesn’t go out of his way to hurt people. He’s kind, volunteers with the community, he’s goofy. Being a jerk is based so much on perspective that this seems silly to me. Slightly above average is ideal. Too big and it hurts, too small and you don’t feel much. I will say slightly above average does feel better to me personally, but average isn’t bad at all.

My husband and I have a very healthy sex life and have similar rates, but if it was up to him we would have sex 3 times a day everyday. Some weeks I’m all into it and others I’m not, depending on stress and hormones. But his libido is much higher than mine
/r/PurplePillDebate04/03/26 04:27 PM
1

You’ve really never felt that almost magic feeling about someone? Someone who gives you butterflies and makes your heart beat a million miles a minute? It’s hard to pinpoint any one thing that it is about a person because it’s usually everything about that person…so your question really doesn’t even make sense to me
/r/PurplePillDebate04/03/26 01:12 PM
1

Not a clue, I’ve met men who are my type on paper to a T but had absolutely zero attraction to and I’ve had that attraction to men that are not my normal “type”. It just happens
/r/PurplePillDebate04/03/26 12:56 PM
1

Because I don’t get any tingly feelings or feel good feelings when I look at him. I don’t get butterflies like I do when I see men I’m actually attracted to. When I’m actually attracted to a man it’s the only thing I can think about and it’s over powering. If I don’t have that I don’t want it
/r/PurplePillDebate04/03/26 12:13 PM
1

I mean it really depends on the guy no? What I’m imagining in my head is my extreme ideal and ya I’d definitely give that guy my number. But if it was my friends husband (assuming they weren’t together and didn’t know them) is an objectively attractive man that I would never have given the time of day to
/r/PurplePillDebate04/03/26 12:08 PM
1

My sexuality just doesn’t work that way. I can count on my hands the amount of men I’ve seen and wanted to actually sleep with before getting to know them. The desire just isn’t there at all when I just see a person
/r/PurplePillDebate04/03/26 11:49 AM
1

Literally for almost every man I see. I can recognize where another girl might be into them but I have zero actual desire to let them stick a penis in me.
/r/PurplePillDebate04/03/26 11:42 AM
1

I mean I don’t like all tall men and I’m not exclusively into tall men, I’ve dated men who were 5’2 and men that were 6’6. I still find my sisters boyfriends to be extremely ugly and she thinks mine are as well.
/r/PurplePillDebate04/03/26 11:41 AM

I can recognize when a person is objectively an attractive person even if they do absolutely zero for me personally.
/r/PurplePillDebate04/03/26 11:31 AM

Sure and I don’t want to have kids with someone I’m not attracted to…sounds like setting the kid up to live a miserable life with parents that don’t love each other

I’m only trying to be with 1 person out of 8 billion on the planet. Why is it unhealthy to only be attracted to 1% of them. I’m trying to find my one, not any old one will do.

Finding someone sexually repulsive doesn’t mean I find them overall repulsive as a human being. It just means I have negative desire to sleep with them. I can still respect them as a person and find them sexually unappealing in every way

They really don’t get it
/r/PurplePillDebate04/03/26 11:14 AM

/r/PurplePillDebate04/03/26 11:09 AM
3

Mine was my uncle…ewwwww
/r/PurplePillDebate04/03/26 11:03 AM

No I make more than he does, what he does is important but doesn’t pay well. My job funds our life. Also you asked where I got my standards from. My degrees are in biology and toxicology.
/r/PurplePillDebate04/03/26 02:11 AM

That’s a ton of assumptions to make. My standards come from the standard I hold myself to. I’m fit, attractive, smart, have multiple degrees, have a high status job, I can cook well, I’m generally well liked in my community. I have high standards because I hold myself to high standards. And my husband meets my standards and holds himself to high standards
/r/PurplePillDebate04/03/26 01:13 AM

But there are people that are close. There are people that check 9/10 of my boxes and I held out for them and I’m glad I did. Why would anyone settle for someone they don’t even like that much?
/r/PurplePillDebate04/03/26 01:11 AM

I mean I’m happily married and met someone who is my ideal in almost every way. Yall say it’s crazy but it works to have high standards
/r/PurplePillDebate04/03/26 12:50 AM

Yep, and he got sober a couple times and each time I got my amazing brother back for a little bit. He was amazing before the addiction
/r/PurplePillDebate04/03/26 12:45 AM

I mean I’ve never had a problem attracting men I want and am attracted to. I’m attracted to tall skinny men in glasses.
/r/PurplePillDebate04/03/26 12:06 AM
1

I’ve had a couple bad instances with men, but I’ve also had great instances with men. They aren’t a monolith and there are great men out there. Also I can’t help that I’m attracted to men, I’ve wanted to kiss boys since I was in kindergarten.
/r/PurplePillDebate03/03/26 09:10 PM

If my brother is being an immoral person then yes.

/r/PurplePillDebate03/03/26 09:01 PM

I’m in my early 30s and life is just so much better now than in my 20s in almost every single way.
/r/PurplePillDebate03/03/26 08:44 PM

Ok and? If I don’t want to fuck someone I’m not going to date them. That would be cruel. Because I’m not going to give them pity sex. Why would I ever get with someone if I don’t want to have sex with them.
/r/PurplePillDebate03/03/26 02:17 PM
6

Yep. Men can’t seem to grasp that I went 2 years without sex while single because I just didn’t want to have sex. I also dated a virgin for a bit who was waiting for marriage and was completely fine with us not having sex.
/r/PurplePillDebate03/03/26 02:04 PM

They can already do this? There are tons of volunteer opportunities begging for people to help. Why don’t the neets already do that?

It’s ideal partner > single > relationship with someone you don’t actually want to be with but settled for > actual bad relationship

Ideal romantic relationship > single > in a mediocre relationship > bad relationship
/r/PurplePillDebate03/03/26 01:34 PM

/r/PurplePillDebate03/03/26 01:26 PM

I’m not entitled to anyone’s attraction, but I’m also not going to date someone I’m not attracted to. If that means I end up single and alone so be it.

Ok? There’s lots of other options? From fitness classes, art classes of all kinds, improv classes, walking hobby groups, hiking hobby groups, gaming nights at the local library. There’s a ton of options if you go out and look for them
/r/PurplePillDebate26/02/26 02:30 PM

Nah it’s not just my dad, it was big in my culture at least. All of the dads were that way. I can think of about 3 men in that who town (at the time it’s grown now and I don’t live there anymore for obvious reasons) that didn’t fly of the handle angry at any tiny inconvenience. And the core of the town, the people who have been there forever, still act this way. The guys I grew up with who are now dads act this way when I come home to visit openly in front of people like it’s no big deal.
/r/PurplePillDebate26/02/26 02:07 PM

Well my dad taught it to my brother by always yelling and being angry (sometimes hitting too) and never showing emotion other than yelling. It’s also what all his coaches did for sports. He was consistently taught over and over again that the he can’t cry or be sad but he can be angry.
/r/PurplePillDebate26/02/26 01:49 PM

Have you checked your local rec center or library for classes? Theres often a lot of classes and things going on for cheap sometimes free in most small cities and up.

Anger and volatility is how a lot of men are socialized to express all emotion.
/r/PurplePillDebate26/02/26 01:17 PM

A lot of them also only know how to express emotions with anger. Which even if not directed at you can be scary if he’s a large person.
/r/PurplePillDebate26/02/26 01:13 PM

The apps are designed to keep mid men hooked. It’s why they’ve added features for men to pay for to get them more noticed. They know the men are more desperate and that there are more men on the site, so they sell an upgrade to “give them an edge” that doesn’t really do much other than get the profile seen more (but not really more matches)
/r/PurplePillDebate25/02/26 07:38 PM

I’ll use myself as an example. I don’t hate autistic men. I’m married to one. He’s my best friend. However, it can be exhausting having to explain to him the social situations and all the subtle context he just doesn’t get. I have a lot of experience with autism, I have several autistic family members so it’s pretty natural for me and normally not a big deal. But for someone who has not dealt with it before these missed cues often are read as intentionally trying to hurt someone. Because it’s wh…

I have no issue with men cold approaching, it’s the way cold approaching is done that is the problem. I don’t mind someone striking up a convo at the grocery store, and if we have some chemistry asking for my number. I would have a problem with a man just randomly walking up to me and asking for my number out of no where.
/r/PurplePillDebate25/02/26 04:35 PM

Yep, I had never orgasmed before my husband. Now it’s multiple times everytime.
/r/PurplePillDebate25/02/26 04:33 PM

I mean sure, if the rich man can take you on a fun date adventure that is amazing and sexy you will be more relaxed and uninhibited. That’s pretty common sense
/r/PurplePillDebate25/02/26 04:31 PM
2

This is pretty basic socialization…things most women find obvious, I’m honestly surprised how much basic social norms have to be explained. Why would you hit on the women in your direct group? It makes things awkward for everyone. That’s why you hit on women in the periphery of the main group, if she says no, you aren’t going to see her every week but maybe every few months at a party. This is all stuff that is learned in highschool and college
/r/PurplePillDebate25/02/26 03:30 PM
1

Yes because you aren’t supposed to hit on the girls in the group…you are supposed to make friends with the group, go to things like bars or parties or coffee together. Get to know their other friends and hit on those girls. You don’t hit on girls in your direct group. You hit on girls in the periphery
/r/PurplePillDebate25/02/26 03:22 PM
2

No making friends and going out is how you put yourself in a position to meet a potential partner. You have to set yourself up to be lucky.
/r/PurplePillDebate25/02/26 03:16 PM
1

Ok. But staying at home and not trying won’t do anything. You need to go out and try things and meet people to have any success. It doesn’t have to be bread making. Go to the local brewery that does a class once a month. Join a biking group (a lot of them go out for drinks after). Join any group and expand your social circle. Yes if you just go to the group, don’t talk to people before and after and just go home, you won’t meet anyone.
/r/PurplePillDebate25/02/26 03:10 PM
2

No but you make friends and go get drinks after and they invite other people to hangout and you meet them. It’s about expanding your social reach and putting yourself into positions to meet new people and be introduced to new people
/r/PurplePillDebate25/02/26 02:52 PM

I mean that’s silly, a lot of people don’t even see that content. We are all in content silos, why would expect people to criticize things they aren’t seeing

I mean there are weekly cooking classes where you go and meet with the same group every week learning new recipes. That’s very much a hobby like going to yoga classes is a hobby
/r/PurplePillDebate25/02/26 02:43 PM

There’s a shop in my town called “knead it” that does a free hobby night where people get together and chit chat about bread. Then usually buy a shit ton of specialty flour

Why would you be with someone who you don’t communicate with though. That makes no sense. If you feel the need to do this at all why are you in that relationship?
/r/PurplePillDebate25/02/26 02:29 PM

I mean there are hobby groups for lots of cooking. For sour dough baking, cake decorating, meat smoking, making jerky etc

We can then ask what content does the man post? Is it just thirst traps or like actual content? Does he make art, cook, do homestead content, leatherwork, etc. I follow a lot of men who make and do cool things because I like watching people make and do cool things

/r/PurplePillDebate21/02/26 01:45 PM

You shouldn’t rely on others to do your thinking for you. You should verify and check the source material before believing anything. Read the methodology section, is it a valid method. A lot of times you will find extremely low sample sizes and can write off those studies as interesting but not conclusive.
/r/PurplePillDebate21/02/26 01:37 PM

No? You shouldn’t believe anything at face value. You should look into the study and see the methodology and decide if the study is valid and worth trusting.
/r/PurplePillDebate21/02/26 01:35 PM

Some of us enjoy reading scientific papers actually
/r/PurplePillDebate21/02/26 01:17 PM

It’s literally everyone…most of the scientific studies are super nuanced and anyone using them to make large generalizations off of them is trying to manipulate people
/r/PurplePillDebate21/02/26 01:13 PM

You need to be critical of all scientific studies. Look at the method and the results. Do the results match the conclusion.
/r/PurplePillDebate21/02/26 01:11 PM

I’m a scientist and no one should ever pay attention to an article that says “science says xxx!” Because the actual scientific research article most likely says something very very nuanced that the journalist doesn’t really understand but is tasked with explaining to the public.

There’s cute awkward with some sparks and sexual tension then there’s just awkward

I’ll admit I kind of care a bit. He doesn’t need to show up in a suit, but some effort to look nice is noticed and evaluated at the end of the night when deciding on a second date. If the date is a 10/10 except he didn’t dress well, wouldn’t care. If the date was a 6.5/10 and he didn’t dress well we probably aren’t going out again.
/r/PurplePillDebate21/02/26 02:23 AM

She left me because I didn’t do the dishes!!
/r/PurplePillDebate20/02/26 12:55 PM
0

Wait why would anyone have expectations for someone to step up to the plate for someone they aren’t friends with?
/r/PurplePillDebate20/02/26 12:52 PM
1

I mean it doesn’t have to be cookies…that was an example. But more than a generic Facebook message. I’m extra so I will handpaint cards and make specialized cookies for each friend. But a phone call, a FaceTime, a cute little video shared with a happy birthday message. A generic fb message is so low effort that if my actual friends did that I’d be a little offended. These are the people I talk to everyday and see multiple times a week.
/r/PurplePillDebate20/02/26 12:48 PM
2

Like maybe a special day, like a birthday might be the perfect day to put in a little effort idk. Crazy thought
/r/PurplePillDebate20/02/26 12:40 PM
1

They are trained to from a young age. I was given a fake vacuum to play with and taught how to clean and was told to clean up after my younger brother. It was part of the culture. I was a rebel and hated cleaning and was a “bad girl” because I didn’t like cleaning and loved to play in the dirt. But I had to take 3 different manners classes that basically explicitly said, you will have to pick up after your husband just accept it.
/r/PurplePillDebate20/02/26 12:30 PM
1

I mean she has to then live in your filth though…that’s the problem…
/r/PurplePillDebate20/02/26 12:27 PM
2

This guy I talked to for a few days until this instance, never washed his dishes…he just wiped them with a Lysol wipe and put them away…
/r/PurplePillDebate20/02/26 12:23 PM
1

Do you not have eyes? Can you not see the overflowing sink or the pile of laundry that needs to get done? Do you not see that the floors haven’t been swept in a few days and there’s dust bunnies everywhere? Why does someone have to tell you what chores to do? A grown person should be able to do chore without being told, you’re an adult not a child
/r/PurplePillDebate20/02/26 12:12 PM
8

Yep! Took me a couple relationships to realize I had no idea what a loving relationship was supposed to look like (my parents yelled how much they hated each other almost every night). I had to do a lot of inner work to unlearn some very bad coping mechanisms that helped when I was a 14 year old dealing with adult alcoholics yelling at each other but don’t help in a healthy relationship.
/r/PurplePillDebate20/02/26 11:56 AM
14

Ya most people aren’t going to even notice you looking
/r/PurplePillDebate20/02/26 11:40 AM
11

Wait are you saying that women are people? What!?
/r/PurplePillDebate20/02/26 11:38 AM
6

Right? Like what in the reading comprehension?
/r/PurplePillDebate19/02/26 09:47 PM
3

Raising your voice and yelling is unacceptable full stop. Arguing is fine. But you shouldn’t yell at each other. If you do it means you have deeper problems to work on. Probably as a couple and individually
/r/PurplePillDebate19/02/26 09:44 PM
9

Ya that sounds like the opposite of a happy environment to me…raising voices and yelling at each other? I wouldn’t want to live like that
/r/PurplePillDebate19/02/26 09:42 PM
5

Sure but there are grown men in the late 20s and 30s still acting that way…just like some women never get over the men need to earn a million.
/r/PurplePillDebate18/02/26 10:22 PM

I’ve never just gotten aroused looking at anyone. I need some action to take place. Just looking at someone is not attractive at all
/r/PurplePillDebate18/02/26 10:11 PM
4

It depends on who you’re talking to. An 18 year old that has no concept of money saying they require a million dollars is just a young person being and idiot and not understand the world. Most college kids are delusional and think they are going to make 6 figures right out of school. By mid 20s people have a much better understanding of how much a partner will realistically make. Is there a similar explanation for men?
/r/PurplePillDebate18/02/26 10:09 PM
1

Same, I was still so fresh from escaping my alcoholic household and had no idea what a healthy relationship looked like. Learned a lot my first couple of relationships and had to unlearn a lot as well.
/r/PurplePillDebate18/02/26 10:02 PM

There are stats that show lots of men do not go to the doctor, they will put it off for years before going. The average person in the US can’t cook more than a couple homemade meals…and our country has a trash and hoarding problem but most people take out the trash.
/r/PurplePillDebate18/02/26 09:17 PM
1

In college you are more likely to be intoxicated and go to parties and be in situations to hook up. In college you also have the option to be shut in and never go do these things. But it’s definitely the easiest time and place in someone’s life to hookup.
/r/PurplePillDebate18/02/26 09:09 PM
2

I just don’t see it. I see a few husbands who really put in a ton of work, but it’s not the norm. What I see is a lot of men randomly help with dishes here and there and expect to be praised for it while leaving everything to their wives most of the time. But I’m in the south so maybe it’s cultural
/r/PurplePillDebate18/02/26 08:21 PM
8

People say it on this sub on threads basically daily…
/r/PurplePillDebate18/02/26 08:15 PM

I mean plenty of people feel it. Just because you don’t experience sexuality that way doesn’t change that others do experience it that way.
/r/PurplePillDebate18/02/26 08:14 PM

It’s called a reactive sex drive. Many women have reactive sex drives. If I’m not turned on by the man in question I’m basically asexual. When I get turned on by the man in question it’s a completely different story. But I never sit around and think about sex.
/r/PurplePillDebate18/02/26 07:35 PM
13

Sure but everyone rolls their eyes at Lilith posts and knows they’re shit posts
/r/PurplePillDebate18/02/26 06:55 PM
15

A lot of men get angry if you wait more than 3 dates to have sex even if you cuddle and kiss and show affection. They yell and call you a whore and tease and ugly. They definitely aren’t just into wanting someone to show interest, they want sex.
/r/PurplePillDebate18/02/26 06:53 PM
18

And they’re all over this sub repeating that time and time again. Women see that. And it’s not just one Lilith it’s a lot of male users on this sub
/r/PurplePillDebate18/02/26 06:50 PM
23

I’ve seen comments saying that exact phrase on this sub a ton of times.
/r/PurplePillDebate18/02/26 06:49 PM
32

Then why don’t men say this instead of saying “if she doesn’t sleep with you on the first date she’s not into you”. If you said “if she doesn’t show any physical interest in you at all she’s not into you” that would not be controversial
/r/PurplePillDebate18/02/26 06:46 PM
1

Well that’s part of being a friend too. But I mean you would probably expect at least a text message over a generic “happy birthday” fb message. Which is what this comment thread was about to begin with.
/r/PurplePillDebate18/02/26 06:43 PM
7

What do you think she’s being delusional about? We were talking about men who don’t pull their weight at home or make their own appointments. It’s not delusional to rather be single than have to take care of a man like that.
/r/PurplePillDebate18/02/26 05:29 PM
5

But again when men act like this and women see their moms, aunts, friends get treated like this a lot of them decide to opt out. And men here get mad at that too
/r/PurplePillDebate18/02/26 05:15 PM
9

Ok and if a man doesn’t think his woman is worthy of treating her with respect by doing his fair share around the house without being begged…why would she want to be with him
/r/PurplePillDebate18/02/26 05:13 PM
11

Which again, would rather be single than be with what other people think they deserve.
/r/PurplePillDebate18/02/26 05:09 PM
8

I’m out talking to women all the time and ya they want a good man. But many would rather be alone than settle for someone they don’t actually want to be with and doesn’t pull his equal weight. They will keep looking for the unicorn though just in case he’s out there
/r/PurplePillDebate18/02/26 05:06 PM
1

Sure but being not available and expressing that is still something. A lot more than just “happy birthday” on a Facebook message you likely didn’t even type out yourself since it’s an automatic option to click that and send. That’s what we were talking about.
/r/PurplePillDebate18/02/26 04:44 PM
1

We’re talking about friends right? The people you love and cherish that aren’t related to your or in a romantic relationship with you. The people who are your second family. I’m not talking about an acquaintance
/r/PurplePillDebate18/02/26 04:32 PM
1

Kind of, we normally get a date that works for them and plan literally everything else so all they have to do is show up.
/r/PurplePillDebate18/02/26 04:04 PM
0

I’m wondering if there’s a lot of dust and they wonder why they sneeze or cough a lot
/r/PurplePillDebate18/02/26 03:59 PM
1

Did they not plan to hangout with you after you got back and go grab drinks or dinner or something? Chips and salsa with beer seems like a bare minimum
/r/PurplePillDebate18/02/26 03:57 PM
4

By putting in effort into the relationship? Ya…that would be a reason to end a relationship if they just stop caring or trying. Relationships are give and take, both sides are supposed to give and do things to make each other happy. Why be friends with someone who doesn’t want to bring happiness to your life?
/r/PurplePillDebate18/02/26 03:56 PM
4

Are these your friends or acquaintances we’re talking about? Friends are involved and hopefully are a big part of your birthday plans or at least on a separate day.
/r/PurplePillDebate18/02/26 03:55 PM
9

It’s not performance. They don’t have to do cookies. But I want something, anything more than a fb message…how impersonal.
/r/PurplePillDebate18/02/26 03:52 PM
4

My dad refused to go to the doctor for 10 years because he was scared they were going to tell him he had lung cancer and he didn’t want to know. He smokes 2-3 packs a day and has since he was 14. Wasn’t lung cancer but it was copd when my mom finally was able to drag him to the doctor.
/r/PurplePillDebate18/02/26 03:51 PM
11

I can’t imagine thinking so little of my friends as to just send a fb happy birthday message. I bake cookies or paint them a card for birthdays because I love them. I want someone to do things for me because they love me too. If a man has no standards and doesn’t want to, that’s fine. I’d rather be alone
/r/PurplePillDebate18/02/26 03:47 PM
4

Yep! “Why didn’t you tell me I needed to make a doctors appointment for myself!!??” A lot of men just go on autopilot when they get coupled up.
/r/PurplePillDebate18/02/26 03:44 PM
25

Ok and that’s why a lot of women are opting out…
/r/PurplePillDebate18/02/26 03:29 PM
59

The thing is a lot of men aren’t doing these things you say they were doing on their own. That’s a big part of the problem. Women know they are capable and able to do these things but a lot of men just refuse to.
/r/PurplePillDebate18/02/26 03:19 PM

You didn’t mention stats? You mentioned a wild generalization based off of your feelings.
/r/PurplePillDebate18/02/26 01:33 PM

I mean no? This has happened with women I know who got with ugly men, not just hot men.
/r/PurplePillDebate18/02/26 01:14 PM

His part in the relationship. If he’s not participating in the relationship why would I want to have sex with him. I’ll be thinking about what an asshole he is the whole time and be dry and it will hurt. I don’t want that
/r/PurplePillDebate18/02/26 01:05 PM

Just because you dont do something doesn’t mean other men do the thing we’re talking about. Men absolutely ghost right after sex, sometimes after spending over a month pretending to be dating. It’s horrible
/r/PurplePillDebate18/02/26 12:37 PM
1

I’d posit anonymity makes it easier to in fact lie and make up all kinds to exaggerations about yourself. To think people are completely honest on the internet is crazy. Hell people change insignificant details in stories so that they stay anonymous, are they lying? Some would say so, and it’s totally acceptable and so easy on the internet
/r/PurplePillDebate18/02/26 12:33 PM
1

A guy slightly than taller than me at minimum (I’m actually 5’1 and have dated guys that are 5’2), I prefer skinny men, funny (I love light teasing and jokes), smart (hopefully college educated or in school depending on what stage of 20s I’m in), sociable, hard working, have a growth mentality, can cook at least a few meals for himself. A big part of this is that I’m assuming I have my same face?
/r/PurplePillDebate18/02/26 12:30 PM
14

Because it’s fun? I love adventure? I only have one life to live and there’s a whole wide world to see and experience in that one and only life I get. Why wouldn’t I want to travel and see it?
/r/PurplePillDebate18/02/26 12:24 PM

This. I’ve never used sex as a direct reward. But I have taken sex off the table when something negative in the relationship happened and I was completely and utter repulsed by the thought of the man now. But that was viewed as using sex as a reward and punishment…when no…I’m just not going to have sex if I don’t actually want to have sex and if I’m mad at you I don’t want to have sex
/r/PurplePillDebate18/02/26 12:19 PM

Are you sure it’s a reward system and not just the woman just being turned off by a man who she feels isn’t doing his part? That’s not a reward at that point it’s not having sec because sex with someone who doesn’t contribute is repulsive
/r/PurplePillDebate18/02/26 12:15 PM

No what normally happens is that a man ends up turning his wife off immensely over time. Everytime he leaves the dishes he was supposed to do but didn’t apologize about not having time, everytime she isn’t in the mood but he won’t stop pestering her making her feel like a hole to be used. If you aren’t maintaining your relationship of course the sex will dry out
/r/PurplePillDebate18/02/26 12:12 PM

I will also add, that men will often do things to get sex, not to be a good partner or out of love but to get sex. And once women pick up that, that is the reason you are doing nice things for her and not because you love her and want to do nice things for her she will shut down and the sex will stop.
/r/PurplePillDebate18/02/26 12:10 PM
1

Yes people are speaking their opinions. This stuff is all subjective and the facts are very hard to pin down. It’s not a contract it’s people expressing an opinion
/r/PurplePillDebate17/02/26 05:59 PM
2

Yes. If you haven’t established that you are exclusive they are allowed to see other people. But that doesn’t mean someone won’t get hurt and decide to end the relationship because they are hurt anyway.
/r/PurplePillDebate17/02/26 05:57 PM
5

Because it is a turn off. It’s disrespectful towards your partner to not pull your weight and do your part of chores. Being disrespected is a major turn off
/r/PurplePillDebate17/02/26 05:53 PM
1

Yeah there are a ton of cohabitating couples who show up as single in stats because they aren’t married, even if it’s been years
/r/PurplePillDebate17/02/26 05:43 PM
1

Yeah, where did this kid go to highschool. All the band dorks were banging, all the choir nerds too…so were the theater kids…even the chess club had a few couples.
/r/PurplePillDebate17/02/26 05:41 PM

But you’re trying to date them? Why would you be picking fights?
/r/PurplePillDebate17/02/26 05:19 PM

I see a lot of both. Hell where I am most people are obese and I see a bunch of morbidly obese dudes coupled up. I go out and do stuff in the community every day after work and see couples. There are always dudes around 5’8 a girl
/r/PurplePillDebate17/02/26 05:08 PM

You are wondering why someone doesn’t want to date someone who thinks the things they say are “dumb and cringe” and argue with them about the things they say. Ya no one on earth wants to live life like that. It sounds exhausting. Why would you expect people to want that?
/r/PurplePillDebate17/02/26 05:04 PM

That’s why I said only productive. These are things you learn in the first few months of getting to know each other and break up if not compatible. No one wants dating to feel like a business meeting
/r/PurplePillDebate17/02/26 04:58 PM

I see 5’8 skinny fat men out on dates and couples up constantly. What world do you live in where you don’t see this when you go out into the world?
/r/PurplePillDebate17/02/26 04:52 PM

Normal and average don’t mean the same thing. Normal is more based on societal expectations of what SHOULD be average.
/r/PurplePillDebate17/02/26 04:51 PM

Who wants a date to only be productive? The whole point of dating is to have fun and feel those happy feelings for someone. To do things together
/r/PurplePillDebate17/02/26 04:50 PM

And you wonder why people don’t want to date men who act like this?
/r/PurplePillDebate17/02/26 04:47 PM

Yep, this is not normal behavior either. This whole post was about normal guys having it easy. Of course autistic men have it hard
/r/PurplePillDebate17/02/26 04:47 PM
2

When I was in college a decade ago, there was a big group of nerds in the honors college dorms that would party together every weekend and someone was always hooking up.
/r/PurplePillDebate16/02/26 11:58 AM
2

They don’t exist.
/r/PurplePillDebate16/02/26 11:56 AM
3

So fyi, your nose never stops growing
/r/PurplePillDebate16/02/26 11:54 AM
2

Out of the two extremes, yes I’d rather be treated as asexual
/r/PurplePillDebate16/02/26 12:30 AM
1

Right? I saw my husband had books to read for pleasure in his back pack in college and loved it. One of the green flags
/r/PurplePillDebate15/02/26 09:11 PM
2

It just sounds like she’s really not all that interested in you. Just stop talking to her and move on.
/r/PurplePillDebate15/02/26 08:58 PM
1

That just sounds like a bad date and woman you shouldn’t call again who obviously isn’t interested
/r/PurplePillDebate15/02/26 08:56 PM
0

Well I think it might be his personality based on all the comments
/r/PurplePillDebate15/02/26 08:52 PM
0

Yes because that’s a weird thing to say? Like that’s a really awkward weird thing to say to someone
/r/PurplePillDebate15/02/26 08:49 PM
4

Yes that means she doesn’t like you so leave.
/r/PurplePillDebate15/02/26 08:45 PM
2

You are really not explaining it well. It basically just sounds like men don’t like talking to women and feel like talking to women is a chore they have to do to get sex. Is that what you’re trying to say?
/r/PurplePillDebate15/02/26 08:45 PM
5

This sounds like one of the most depressing lives a person could live…why would you ever settle for this?
/r/PurplePillDebate15/02/26 08:43 PM
4

Because being reduced down to your genitals sucks. We’re whole people. I like my husband for a lot more than sex and I would be repulsed by any man who felt that about me.
/r/PurplePillDebate15/02/26 08:42 PM
5

Ok but that’s your choice. You are choosing to be with women who don’t even like you and then complaining. You could chose better
/r/PurplePillDebate15/02/26 08:39 PM
1

Women usually aren’t working physically demanding jobs and usually when they do, they work machinery that helps get the job done without brute strength.
/r/PurplePillDebate15/02/26 03:47 PM
1

Many are given the space to. I know plenty of women who gave space to men to feel their feelings but the men only knew how to feel a feeling as anger. They didn’t process their feelings they reacted to any feeling as anger. Processing feelings and even identifying all the interconnected feelings one is feeling are skills that need to be taught. These men need more than just space
/r/PurplePillDebate14/02/26 03:12 PM
2

But they aren’t processing. They are lashing out. Processing an emotion is feeling it, recognizing your feeling, then letting it pass and moving on or take action depending on the feeling.
/r/PurplePillDebate14/02/26 03:04 PM
0

You are supposed to process the emotion…
/r/PurplePillDebate14/02/26 03:00 PM
1

Yep! I’ve been a D since 13 and C before I hit 12
/r/PurplePillDebate14/02/26 11:47 AM
5

We really aren’t born able to understand the depth and complexities of our feelings. Most people don’t feel a single feeling. Most people feel several at once and it gets all tangled up and hard to understand without learned emotional regulation skills. Most men aren’t taught these as kids and it’s a huge disservice parents do to their sons.
/r/PurplePillDebate14/02/26 11:09 AM
1

Yep! People are shutting themselves in on their phones and aren’t even looking at potential activities to go do. My town has free social activities almost every week, and that’s not including the free book clubs and classes that the library hosts and teaches. There’s about 20 different types of exercise group class gyms working a 20 minute drive. And I’m in a small city. There are so many options people just are lazy
/r/PurplePillDebate14/02/26 11:03 AM
-1

Yes because stuffing it down makes it fester not go away. It is in fact a stupid thing to do, understandable because feeling bad feelings sucks, but stuffing them down only makes it worse
/r/PurplePillDebate14/02/26 11:00 AM
2

No? Self awareness, emotional regulation, social aptitude are all skills that can be learned. Sadly a lot of parents do not teach these skills to their boys but do to their girls. But these skills are essential for maintaining relationships. It doesn’t make men who don’t know these skills retarded. You can’t know something you were never taught.
/r/PurplePillDebate14/02/26 10:59 AM
5

I also was able to do the same. I’d been dreaming about the job I have since I was 9 years old. I was able to have so many genuine reasons for wanting to work where I work.
/r/PurplePillDebate14/02/26 10:55 AM
0

Bruh we are animals. And love is one of the most basic feelings we are called to chase and feel. Hell all of our religions tell us that love is the most importabt feeling. This is why yall end up with women that don’t even like you. Because yall don’t care about emotion at all. But that’s what life is, a series of emotions. I have one life to live and I’m never going to settle for someone I don’t feel that love feeling for ever. Men are crazy to do so and wonder why they aren’t loved
/r/PurplePillDebate14/02/26 09:57 AM
3

I debate with women on this sub all the time
/r/PurplePillDebate13/02/26 08:49 PM
3

These are big assumptions. I love my male friends and my husband. I’m the primary breadwinner in my household and regularly treat my male friends to coffee just like they do for me. Usually when we are working on our community garden project at a coffee shop together.
/r/PurplePillDebate13/02/26 04:42 PM
2

Not when I was 11…and what they did have was grainy as hell
/r/PurplePillDebate13/02/26 03:44 PM
3

Yes at grocery stores, at malls, at large art festivals. Anywhere there was enough plausible deniability and enough people they could blend in with the crowd.
/r/PurplePillDebate13/02/26 03:40 PM
7

I have been touched, yelled at, cat called by these men. You don’t know what you’re talking about. Grown men started grabbing my ass at 15. Men were grabbing my hips and shoulders at the restaurants I worked at starting at 17. At 11 I had grown men yell out of cars at me and like I said at 12 I had my grandfathers own friends hitting on me and staring at my chest the whole time.
/r/PurplePillDebate13/02/26 03:36 PM
13

Well it happens to a lot of women. The men who are creepy and do this tend to be very prolific in their harassment. So a lot of us get harassed by this group of degenerate men starting at 11 and it doesn’t start to slow down till 30 and even then not a lot.
/r/PurplePillDebate13/02/26 03:31 PM
5

Well I never said that men don’t trust other men…that was another poster. Ya I lived in Alabama but it happened in Alabama, Florida, Tennessee, Arkansas, Virginia, and Texas when I was a kid. We traveled a lot. I had grown adult men hitting on me when I was 12 at my grandfathers own wedding rehearsal dinner…
/r/PurplePillDebate13/02/26 03:28 PM
9

Love is both a feeling and a choice. You need both.
/r/PurplePillDebate13/02/26 03:19 PM
5

That sounds like tolerating and settling not love.

I will say there are definitely dads that do the same. No man has ever been good enough for me. Not a single person I’ve brought home is remotely good enough…ridiculous
/r/PurplePillDebate13/02/26 12:50 PM
4

Your mindset will trap you into being forever miserable and lonely. I feel sorry for you
/r/PurplePillDebate13/02/26 12:48 PM
5

So is your job and how you provide. Are you ambitious or lazy. That’s part of your person.
/r/PurplePillDebate13/02/26 12:46 PM
7

I personally think it’s more rare when you have a mindset that you have to lock down whoever shows you any attention because I might not ever meet someone again. That’s not love and never will be, but that seems to be the dating strategy of a lot of men.
/r/PurplePillDebate13/02/26 12:45 PM
12

Yes vapid horrible women exist. Stop trying to date them as soon as they show red flags.
/r/PurplePillDebate13/02/26 12:43 PM
2

Well I have always been the primary breadwinner in my relationship and have stayed with my husband through his layoffs and companies being dissolved so jobs just disappearing. He’s had long stints of being a stay at home husband. We were still very much in love and are to this day. He likes working more than staying at home but I’m the primary breadwinner. I keep saying to men on this platform stop settling for women who barely tolerate you! That’s a big part of the problem…you expect love out o…

Happened to me too in the US (grew up in Alabama) almost every time I walked home from school once I started developing breasts at 11.
/r/PurplePillDebate13/02/26 12:38 PM
8

Well it happened to me in the US. That’s when I started developing breasts. And the attention and cat calling started.
/r/PurplePillDebate13/02/26 12:35 PM
3

What does that have to do with your post at all? I really do think you need help the more of this comment section I read…I’m kind of actually worried about you…you don’t seem ok
/r/PurplePillDebate13/02/26 12:34 PM

He’s literally doing nothing but making excuses. And taking no responsibility for his own failures.
/r/PurplePillDebate13/02/26 12:31 PM
3

I have severe adhd and have been medicated since I was 10 years old. Stop making excuses.
/r/PurplePillDebate13/02/26 12:30 PM
3

This is an excuse to be lazy. You have a brain and can learn. Learning how to plan a party is a learnable skill. Your laziness is no one else’s problem
/r/PurplePillDebate13/02/26 12:28 PM
1

Then why do you let it make you so angry. You might have deeper issues
/r/PurplePillDebate13/02/26 12:27 PM

People don’t like to watch stories about mundane life. They want escapes from their normal boring lives.
/r/PurplePillDebate13/02/26 12:26 PM

My brother in Christ for the millionth time. I didn’t get my negative view on men as a young woman from the men on tv. I got my negative view on men from the way young men and grown men started treating me at 11 years old when I hit puberty and started growing boobs. I’ve been grabbed, literally picked up and carried away, cornered, stalked, harassed at work, groped at work. At 13 I had elderly men hitting on me at my grandfathers wedding rehearsal dinner for fucks sake.
/r/PurplePillDebate13/02/26 12:25 PM

I know several couples who moved together after college. Got engaged and bought a house together within a year a of graduating. Heck I know couples now in their 20s doing this that my younger sisters go to college with.
/r/PurplePillDebate12/02/26 12:24 PM

There’s a difference between an abundance mentality and indifference…I would hate to go on a date with a guy who acted like being on a date with me didn’t matter to him, but you also don’t want to go on a date with a guy who acts like this is his last chance to find someone. There is a middle ground here
/r/PurplePillDebate12/02/26 12:22 PM

No my aunts, uncles, adult family friends. Someone had to make sure my sisters (who are a decade younger than me) were fed and bathed before my dad got home from work. My mom sure as hell couldn’t do it. I was the oldest daughter and it was just assumed I would take on the mother role if I loved my sisters.
/r/PurplePillDebate12/02/26 01:04 AM

Yes. I was told this constantly when complaining about my alcoholic mom. I was told to take care of my sisters because I was the woman of the house since my mom was a drunk and to get over it and grow up.
/r/PurplePillDebate11/02/26 11:07 PM

Were you tactful with your honesty or were you a dick about it?
/r/PurplePillDebate11/02/26 11:06 PM
5

Happy spouse happy house. Both partners should want to make the other happy….
/r/PurplePillDebate11/02/26 10:59 PM
3

No? Hanging out and chit chatting at a party is not even close to pretending to be friends. That’s acquaintances at best.
/r/PurplePillDebate10/02/26 01:11 PM
3

Did you miss that you’ve met a few times. That implies interaction.
/r/PurplePillDebate10/02/26 01:07 PM
3

A warm approach is asking out your friends friend you’ve met once or twice at a party or game night you think is cute. Or at the end of the semester a lab partner you’ve been flirting with.
/r/PurplePillDebate10/02/26 01:01 PM

I don’t mind if men watch porn and most women don’t mind if it’s an occasional thing. The issue is when men spend hours a week watching porn to a point it impacts life.
/r/PurplePillDebate08/02/26 11:49 PM

There are toxic people in literally every single demographic. Extremely evil people in every single demographic…dont ignore red flags and dump the toxic ones
/r/PurplePillDebate08/02/26 11:43 PM
5

Ok as the primary breadwinner of my family, how do I not have the same pressures?
/r/PurplePillDebate07/02/26 01:18 PM
11

I can think a woman is beautiful but have absolutely zero desire to have sex with her. The idea of actually being with another woman is repulsive. I have had crushes on little boys since I was 3 years old. Yes I only view a small percentage of men sexually attractive, but it’s a very intense sexual attraction.
/r/PurplePillDebate07/02/26 12:58 PM
4

I don’t get where you think women don’t understand this…many of us also work and had to provide for ourselves before settling down with someone. Hell I’m the breadwinner for my family. Lots of women get it. Avoid the ones that don’t.
/r/PurplePillDebate07/02/26 12:51 PM
4

Ya this was my thought. I know maybe 3 couples where one of the spouses doesn’t work. Almost all couples are dual income at this point.
/r/PurplePillDebate07/02/26 12:48 PM
3

Ok well I’ll add that I’m a woman in the exact same boat as her. I earn way more than my husband and still absolutely adore him. I adored him when he was a stay at home husband taking care of the house and when he was working. He wanted to go back to work and is happier but I still make much more. But I wouldn’t trade him for the world, I love him deeply.
/r/PurplePillDebate07/02/26 12:46 PM
4

Men’s horniness is their own problem to solve. If they have such little self respect they will fuck people they don’t even like that’s on them. Have a backbone and take responsibility for your choices
/r/PurplePillDebate06/02/26 03:00 PM
5

So? Who gives a fuck? If you don’t want to be around bratty women don’t date them. If you want to fuck bratty women stop complaining about them being bratty, you are encouraging it
/r/PurplePillDebate06/02/26 02:50 PM
5

This is the most pathetic thing I think I’ve read in a long time. Talk about failure to launch. And you consider yourself an adult?
/r/PurplePillDebate06/02/26 02:48 PM
4

That’s a cop out, be an adult and clean up after yourself. Anything less is ridiculous
/r/PurplePillDebate06/02/26 02:46 PM
7

And the list is endless for women too. That’s life. We are all expected to be our best at all times and it sucks for everyone.
/r/PurplePillDebate06/02/26 02:45 PM
6

This is bullshit. Most couples try to come up with compromises. Issues arise when standards have been discussed and one partner just doesn’t care to actually follow through. It breaks trust and becomes less about the cleaning and more about not doing what you say you will
/r/PurplePillDebate06/02/26 02:43 PM
3

Men are allowed to be too, they just might not get laid. But no one is saying they aren’t free to be submissive
/r/PurplePillDebate06/02/26 02:40 PM
5

Then stop dating them…
/r/PurplePillDebate06/02/26 02:39 PM
13

Agree! I think guys who find women who act like children attractive to be extremely gross.
/r/PurplePillDebate06/02/26 02:39 PM

You can acknowledge that someone brings out that sexual tension in most people and are objectively sexy even if you aren’t personally sexually attracted to them.
/r/PurplePillDebate06/02/26 02:29 PM

It 100% impacts the validity of a statement…
/r/PurplePillDebate06/02/26 02:25 PM

Yep! My friends’ partners for the most part aren’t ugly to me, but none of them are my type. I can think of one or two that are somewhat sexually appealing but no where near as much as my husband who is my type to a T
/r/PurplePillDebate06/02/26 02:17 PM
1

I expect people to be polite to men too. I hold doors open for men all the time. I’m polite to men I see on the street. It is an expectation that all people treat others with kindness and respect.
/r/PurplePillDebate05/02/26 04:02 PM
4

Ok but how? How do you enforce even positive dating equality if it forces women to consider dating men they don’t want to date?
/r/PurplePillDebate05/02/26 02:34 PM
1

So how do you fix this issue you want fixed if women just want sex less than men and are willing to go without rather than settle for someone they don’t actually want?
/r/PurplePillDebate05/02/26 02:06 PM
3

I mean not really. I’d rather not have sex at all than have sex with someone I’m not attracted to. I do well on my own, I have an amazing support network, a dream job I adore. Why would I sleep with someone I don’t find attractive if I don’t want to? Even if I had less options.
/r/PurplePillDebate05/02/26 02:01 PM
1

I expect all humans to do those things, not men.
/r/PurplePillDebate05/02/26 01:48 PM
6

Because your critique would imply that something needs to be fixed with women. And that our freedom to choose for ourselves has become a problem. And we will not tolerate that. I’d rather kill myself than go back ti a system where my freedoms are curtailed
/r/PurplePillDebate05/02/26 01:40 PM
2

Well that’s crazy. Just because I don’t want to fuck a guy doesn’t mean I think he’s a monster undeserving of life.
/r/PurplePillDebate05/02/26 01:37 PM
3

Because most guys are not going to be appealing to the individual. I find about 20% of men sexually appealing. My 20% is different than both of what my sisters find to be attractive. So having a bunch of options if people you have zero desire for isn’t winning…
/r/PurplePillDebate05/02/26 01:36 PM

Depends, have we discussed paternity testing as just something he would want no matter what? Or did he bring it up a month before birth to a couple months after birth out of nowhere. Context definitely matters. My husband and I plan on doing a paternity test if we ever have our own biological kids. We have talked about it for years and it’s something he has an insecurity about and has since way before we met. I’m not offended.
/r/PurplePillDebate05/02/26 01:17 PM
3

Yep, they are imagining hot bi women they see in porn, not butch bi women (who 100% exist).
/r/PurplePillDebate05/02/26 01:08 PM
2

Because sex can be fun and some women like sex. Again nothing to do with validation and just with less women willing to have casual sex and a ton of male options. For the most part they get to pick who they want for casual sex because so many more men want casual sex than women want it. There’s a big supply demand differential
/r/PurplePillDebate04/02/26 07:41 PM
2

So men are lesser beings is basically what you’re saying if “it’s just who they are” to act this way
/r/PurplePillDebate04/02/26 07:34 PM
3

He doesn’t deserve it. Deserve has nothing to do with it. Less women are willing to hook up than there are guys who want to hook up.
/r/PurplePillDebate04/02/26 07:31 PM
1

I don’t think I’ve ever watched porn of anyone masturbating…but I don’t like watching porn honestly, I prefer reading slow burn romance books.
/r/PurplePillDebate04/02/26 02:56 PM
1

I like some icecream, I really love cookie dough icecream I could eat it all day everyday. I can tolerate cookies and crème but it’s not my favorite. But I will gag at mint chocolate chip or rocky road. Just because I don’t like all flavors of icecream doesn’t mean I don’t like icecream.
/r/PurplePillDebate02/02/26 11:24 PM
1

Ya that’s super depressing imo. The only people that dated like this when I was single were the stuck up ones no one liked anyway
/r/PurplePillDebate02/02/26 11:02 PM
2

Why would you assume I’m not real? I am the primary breadwinner in my house and my husband and I split the household equally. I’ve been in past relationships where the guy very much didn’t pull their weight and left before marriage could be an option.
/r/PurplePillDebate02/02/26 08:21 PM
1

Depends, that’s what democratic republic is for right? We elect officials to enact laws we want or think are best. I might voice my opinion about a law, but if it’s a law that is the minimum standard for behavior.
/r/PurplePillDebate02/02/26 06:22 PM
1

Within the confines of the law. I’m not advocating for total anarchy. But people should have the maximum amount of freedom within the law
/r/PurplePillDebate02/02/26 06:13 PM
2

Within the confines of the law. Right now it’s illegal.
/r/PurplePillDebate02/02/26 06:12 PM
2

How does one know you are on the path to self destruction. Sure if you get into drugs or something. But other than that why do you view different lifestyle choices as a path to destruction instead of just a different way some people want to live?
/r/PurplePillDebate02/02/26 06:02 PM
1

I mean I’m not against incest necessarily if no children can be born from it. If some redneck brother and sister want to fuck in their own home I don’t care as long as they aren’t bringing another life into the world
/r/PurplePillDebate02/02/26 06:00 PM
2

It’s not hateful? They can do as they please. If they ask my opinion I will tell them, but if not it’s not my business what they do. That’s between them and their creator as long as they aren’t breaking the law
/r/PurplePillDebate02/02/26 05:55 PM
1

We are a free people. Do you really want more restrictions on freedom? Really?
/r/PurplePillDebate02/02/26 05:54 PM
1

Not if they aren’t making the money they are using to buy things. Using your parents money to buy things is still parasitic
/r/PurplePillDebate02/02/26 05:53 PM
3

I would 100% consider kids to be slightly parasitic in their nature until they can fend for themselves. And the assumption is that the elderly did contribute to the system and that’s why we take care of them now. And the disabled are UNABLE to contribute. A NEET can contribute just doesn’t so parasite
/r/PurplePillDebate02/02/26 05:52 PM
4

Something that only consumes without contributing is a parasite
/r/PurplePillDebate02/02/26 05:38 PM
1

Yep! Half of what they view as blue pill was their grandma trying not to hurt their feelings and listening to other stupid teenagers as a teenager who also had no idea what they were talking about.
/r/PurplePillDebate02/02/26 05:22 PM
1

Sure I guess, but there are degrees. It can be drama to pick where to go to dinner that’s pretty insignificant. Drama can also mean sneaking behind their back and doing drugs and all kinds of things. But there will always be some drama because two people will always have some disagreements because well people. Most people wouldn’t consider the mundane drama to be drama though, just normal life shit.
/r/PurplePillDebate02/02/26 05:19 PM
2

If someone is judging you off of the type of watch you wear you probably should run as far away from them…don’t date that person
/r/PurplePillDebate02/02/26 05:16 PM
3

I mean I have close female friends who definitely aren’t lying. Ideally they would like to be in a GOOD relationship, but they would rather be single than in a relationship they don’t want.
/r/PurplePillDebate02/02/26 05:13 PM
5

Im going to tell you right now, most women don’t care if he earns more, if they are both working they expect an equal amount of housework to be done be both parties. And again women are deciding they would rather just take care of themselves than deal with that kind of relationship. Men can adjust or get left behind. If they decide to start enslaving women as sex slaves because of it I expect to see mass suicides p
/r/PurplePillDebate02/02/26 05:12 PM
2

You know there are programs for adults to get snap benefits and that there are social programs out there to help. My brother used to use them when he was homeless. (He was an addict and was only homeless after stealing from every family member). But he was able to get access to food and healthcare.
/r/PurplePillDebate02/02/26 05:10 PM
1

Yep! I love looking at a beautiful woman, I would never want to actually have sex with a woman though…the idea of going down on a woman makes me gag (idk why it just does but it shouldn’t cause it’s not like it’s offensive lol) Conversely I don’t think dicks look very attractive, but damn do they feel good and can be attached to some damn fine men.
/r/PurplePillDebate02/02/26 05:03 PM
6

No? I literally have never had a platonic relationship with a man and expected him to pay for anything other than himself. If you are surrounding yourself with women who are users that’s on you.
/r/PurplePillDebate02/02/26 05:00 PM
2

I don’t care if people are selfish and hedonistic. They have free will and can use it how they please. Their maker will judge them one day. It’s not on me to judge them. They can do whatever they want within the confines of the law and I couldn’t give two shits.
/r/PurplePillDebate02/02/26 04:59 PM
6

I mean so do my taxes. It also goes to a lot of other things. I have zero issue with my tax dollars going ti make sure kids of single parents don’t starve though.
/r/PurplePillDebate02/02/26 04:57 PM
4

Because a lot of women have been waking up to how unfair marriage is, especially when both are working. And if I’m working 40 hours a week and still have to do most of the cooking and cleaning I’d rather just be single. Thankfully my husband isn’t like that and we split the chores evenly. But for a lot of women the juice isn’t worth the squeeze and they aren’t willing to give up financial freedom either.
/r/PurplePillDebate02/02/26 04:55 PM
9

Some of my favorite people on this earth are men. Some of my least favorite people too. But so are some women. It’s almost like we’re all individuals and you can vibe with both genders if you’re a chill person
/r/PurplePillDebate02/02/26 04:52 PM
4

I’ve had a lot of male friends who have never paid for anything for me. I think one bought me icecream when my grandmother died. Where does this idea come from that women only hangout with men if they pay for it? It’s absurd
/r/PurplePillDebate02/02/26 04:51 PM
3

Personally I’d rather be with someone smart enough to envision nuclear technology (it could save us too with energy production) than with someone with zero drive. It’s one of the most repulsive things imo
/r/PurplePillDebate02/02/26 04:49 PM
5

Most women will not believe that…sadly…a lot of us have first hand experience with men who claim exactly that but don’t follow through and still expect us to clean.
/r/PurplePillDebate02/02/26 04:48 PM
2

As a woman who is exclusively into the jack skelington look. I love me a tall string bean with little to no muscle definition. Been into this my entire life. I will accept being into monsters hahaha
/r/PurplePillDebate02/02/26 04:46 PM
2

Why? Let people do what they want. If someone wants to fuck let them if they don’t then cool. Why do yall feel this insane need to control the legal actions of other people?
/r/PurplePillDebate02/02/26 04:44 PM
2

Women are the ones that seem to be ok being single rather than with someone they don’t want to be with. Men need to have the same attitude honestly. Don’t settle for someone you don’t actually want and who doesn’t want you.
/r/PurplePillDebate02/02/26 04:42 PM
1

Nah I see ugly men with women walking down the street all the time.
/r/PurplePillDebate02/02/26 04:39 PM
1

Not really…it’s part of your personality how you decide to get sresssed and present yourself. It’s part of your personality if you’re low inhib and can flirt vs high inhib and get clammed up. It’s part of your personality if you decide to work hard in school and get a good job vs decide to go the neet lifestyle. It’s part of your personality if you are pleasant to be around vs boring. All of that are part of personality and it’s all very important to dating
/r/PurplePillDebate02/02/26 04:32 PM
3

But if you are neet you aren’t contributing anything. Why should you benefit from The fruits of someone else’s labor while you get to be lazy?
/r/PurplePillDebate02/02/26 04:27 PM
3

Being NEET is a personality trait though…it shows a lack of drive and passion. Who wants to be with someone willing to just sit around and not work towards the greater good?
/r/PurplePillDebate02/02/26 04:20 PM
5

Yep! I have only seen derision when they insult the single mother and call her names while saying they won’t date single moms. When someone says that they aren’t ready for kids yet so they don’t want to date single moms no one really cares.
/r/PurplePillDebate02/02/26 04:15 PM
2

Yep! A lot of women I know make more than their husbands or equal to them +/- 10k. The few that make below are teachers and their husbands love that their wives are teachers and of service, but I also know male teachers who make much less than their wives 🤷‍♀️. I am the sole bread winner in my relationship, my husband is a stay at home husband and takes care of the house and working on a side dream business (I make plenty and love that he can follow a dream instead of work a job he hates)
/r/PurplePillDebate31/01/26 03:20 PM
1

I think it’s specific things, but that different women want different specific things you know? Like a woman in a small town down south (where I’m from) is gonna be much more turned on by a hunter or an avid fisherman than say someone who grew up in a big city. My sister is into farmers, I’m into craftsmen and musicians, and my other sister is into bankers.
/r/PurplePillDebate31/01/26 03:15 PM
2

Very true
/r/PurplePillDebate26/01/26 12:30 PM
3

Right? Until very recently in the grand scheme of things childbirth was deadly. It was not uncommon for a mother to die in childbirth.
/r/PurplePillDebate26/01/26 12:26 PM

My first boyfriend and who I lost my virginity to was not nearly as attractive as my husband. I only ever had one “fling” and it was a drunken mess I barely remember and wouldn’t ever do again. The guy wasn’t even hot. And I ended up getting sober partially because of that. I’ve turned down lots of very objectively attractive men who wanted to hook up. A lot of women I know have turned down objectively attractive men for hook ups, because it’s not what they want. A minority of women are into hoo…
/r/PurplePillDebate26/01/26 12:09 PM
3

This is the answer. Clear communication is good, but someone can still not like what you are communicating and decide they don’t like you anymore. If a guy tells me he just wants to fuck, that’s fine but I don’t like that so I would leave and not waste either of our time.
/r/PurplePillDebate26/01/26 11:56 AM
15

Most men hate clear communication…when you are clear with men they take it as aggression and get angry, it’s hurts their ego.
/r/PurplePillDebate26/01/26 11:46 AM
1

Average to slightly above. Length also isn’t as important as girth.
/r/PurplePillDebate26/01/26 11:41 AM
1

Thanks, it’s been about a year. He was an addict and I’d been dreading that phone call for years, so it wasn’t unexpected. It comes in waves but I’m in a decent place
/r/PurplePillDebate12/01/26 12:23 AM
1

I’ve always read it as not being the most important. I don’t know anyone that thinks sex isn’t important, but it’s not the most important thing in the world and an individual’s life will go on without it. Someone can live a decently happy life without sex with the right attitude
/r/PurplePillDebate11/01/26 01:59 PM
5

As a woman on here, ya. I’m much happier with my life now, but when I first started getting on this sub years ago I was in a bad place, took a long break and got sober, life was going great until my brother died. Now I come here sometimes as a distraction. But the rest of my life is going well
/r/PurplePillDebate11/01/26 01:32 PM

The only time I see women getting upset at men when they voice their standards is when a man is describing women in a terrible/demeaning way.
/r/PurplePillDebate09/01/26 08:54 PM

The advice depends on what your goals are. For a lot of men they want to date someone, anyone. For women they don’t want to date anyone they want to date the one and would rather be single than settle with potentially the wrong one. So if your goal is to just date someone ya you might need to lower your standards. But if you are satisfied with potentially not finding the one if you search for them, then you shouldn’t settle
/r/PurplePillDebate09/01/26 08:43 PM

So what? If she’s not attracted to someone she’s not attracted to them. She’s not going to magically find men she isn’t attracted to attractive because you say she needs to lower her standards…that’s not how this works. Now if she’s super desperate and she wants a relationship, any relationship she probably will lower her standards. But it seems from the OP she’d rather be single and search for a unicorn than settle.
/r/PurplePillDebate09/01/26 08:40 PM

Ya I don’t really care if a man is “too picky” and ends up single by choice. If you don’t find someone you’re attracted to, you don’t find someone you’re attracted to. As long as you don’t take it out on others if you’re angry about it I really don’t care.
/r/PurplePillDebate09/01/26 08:36 PM

I’ve found out one was a pedophile and also found out a distant family member is not only a rapist but also pimped out underage girls.
/r/PurplePillDebate08/01/26 07:48 PM

You literally said “zero. Nada. None”

Back when I was 18-19 I had no clue what I liked. But I was raised in the Bible Belt and terrified of sex and masturbation. I wouldn’t have even known what advice to give
/r/PurplePillDebate06/01/26 08:27 PM
1

Men are not victims when they choose to entertain women that won’t even engage in a conversation. If a woman is not holding a conversation, walk away from that woman. Stop putting up with bad behavior. Have some self respect. I tell this same advice to my female friends who put up with shitty behavior.
/r/PurplePillDebate02/01/26 03:15 PM
3

You should not date those women…stop putting up with women who have shitty social skills and won’t even talk to you. What kind of relationship is that gonna be?
/r/PurplePillDebate02/01/26 02:56 PM
3

Yes because men are more willing to put up with things they don’t like in a partner if it means they can have sex. Women seem to not be willing to put up with men that can’t read social cues
/r/PurplePillDebate02/01/26 02:34 PM
2

There will always be pushback to social change…do you think women didn’t face pushback when they were fighting for the right to vote and to work? Social change will always always always face pushback. If you believe in the change you do it anyway and say “fuck the haters”. A lot of men don’t want to do that though. But it’s what has to happen for social change.
/r/PurplePillDebate02/01/26 02:27 PM
2

I mean it can and has. There’s a niche of women are into femme pretty boys who do make up and get pedicures. The issue men face is that a lot of women have reactive sex drives, they are not ever going to initiate relationships because the biological drive just isn’t nearly as strong as it is for the average man. So if a man wants a sexual relationship he is going to need to be ok initiating
/r/PurplePillDebate02/01/26 02:13 PM
3

Yes and a lot of people with autism, especially those with more support needs(which someone who is selectively mute with women has), are never going to find a romantic partner…because they need a caregiver not a partner
/r/PurplePillDebate02/01/26 02:06 PM
6

Ya that’s a big red flag…I wouldn’t want to be with anyone that insecure. I don’t know why men would want to be with a woman that insecure either…insecure people make for terrible partners
/r/PurplePillDebate02/01/26 02:00 PM
6

Why would anyone want to be in a relationship with someone that doesn’t talk? Seems crazy to me. Might as well date a piece of wood with a face drawn on it
/r/PurplePillDebate02/01/26 01:59 PM
7

Yall take things to their extremes. Yes most people would prefer to find an ideal partner, that is the best option. What most women mean when they say they’d rather be single is that they would rather be single than be with the WRONG man. The idea is that a bad relationship is worse than no relationship at all and they would rather be in no relationship.
/r/PurplePillDebate02/01/26 01:33 PM
14

My husband knows my sexual past and I know his. Literally zero other souls need to know about either of our sexual history.
/r/PurplePillDebate01/01/26 03:29 PM
1

I view them as a friend…and I treat them like friends…why are yall getting all up in your feels about whether is emasculating or not…seems super insecure and I couldn’t be friends with someone like that personally…
/r/PurplePillDebate01/01/26 02:46 PM
15

Do you maybe have autism…? Because this is some crazy black and white thinking that most people are not going to ascribe to.
/r/PurplePillDebate01/01/26 02:41 PM
29

I don’t tell anyone even my closest friends my sexual history or preferences. It’s none of their business…I also don’t want to know a single detail about their sex lives…it’s none of my business…people are allowed to keep their sex lives private in nonsexual relationships like a friendship or no spousal familial relationships.
/r/PurplePillDebate01/01/26 02:39 PM
24

Who is telling all of their friends they sexual history? This is a weird thing to expect from a friend. The only thing you should expect from a friend is friendship in return. Yall are so crazy
/r/PurplePillDebate01/01/26 02:37 PM

It can and is happening. I make more than my husband by a lot, he’s basically a stay at home husband and takes care of the house, I absolutely love it because I love my work and hate to clean. But there’s a big caveat. Men here seem to think that women didn’t go through a transition period where women who worked were derided and looked down on, social outcasts. Same with people of color. A lot of men seem to think they should just be able to do what they want with no push back and no time to cha…

I think men’s rights groups would get a lot more respect if they policed the cesspool
/r/PurplePillDebate01/01/26 02:27 PM

Yeah this has been my experience. I’ve had men tell me stories about sleeping with older women when they were underage thinking I would be impressed and instead I’d look horrified and say “that’s statutory rape….” They would then defend the women and act like nothing happened. This has happened with several of the men I know and the perps have been both men and women raping young men. A lot of men don’t want to see themselves as victims
/r/PurplePillDebate01/01/26 02:23 PM

Not about details about sex…maybe about how cute he was or sweet or if it was a cool date, but no I never shared sexual details
/r/PurplePillDebate01/01/26 02:47 AM

That’s what we do with fun money as well, a set amount each pay period that goes into individual accounts with our own debit cards. We can’t see what the other spends the money on and like it that way.
/r/PurplePillDebate31/12/25 01:56 PM
1

This is for each couple to decide. I’m the primary breadwinner in my relationship and we don’t have kids. I contribute more financially because I make more and I want us to have a good life TOGETHER. Why would I want to go to a nice restaurant and not bring the person I love most? Why would I downgrade our living situation when I can afford it because he can’t pay the same amount I can? Now we both get to live in a nicer house…I really don’t think yall love your partners.
/r/PurplePillDebate31/12/25 01:54 PM

I mean ya? Leagues have been a thing for my whole life. Most people mate with someone of similar attractiveness aka their league. But leagues aren’t written in stone and people perceive the leagues differently.
/r/PurplePillDebate31/12/25 11:53 AM

And there is a reason autistic people have the hardest time dating. Being with someone who doesn’t understand social cues can be hard (my husband is high functioning so I would know) it takes a lot of patience and compromise from both parties. A lot more than two NT people being together. In my case it’s been worth it, my husband is awesome, but I completely understand why someone wouldn’t want to be with someone with autism. I’m adhd and have autistic family members so I am already well equippe…
/r/PurplePillDebate31/12/25 11:46 AM

A creep is someone who makes the other party feel creeped out and unsettled. That’s it. If your awkwardness makes people creeped out and unsettled it’s creepy
/r/PurplePillDebate31/12/25 11:36 AM
1

There are so many potentially creepy behaviors…and most of them are context dependent. I’ve known real creeps who would hide in bushes in college and put his ear up to the women’s dorm rooms to listen in. I’ve known men who were just super awkward and maybe a little smelly who got labeled as creepy.
/r/PurplePillDebate31/12/25 11:33 AM
1

Yes. Those would all be red flags in a woman
/r/PurplePillDebate31/12/25 11:17 AM

All of those sounds exactly right
/r/PurplePillDebate30/12/25 08:11 PM

I would have thought woodworking
/r/PurplePillDebate30/12/25 08:06 PM

It really depends on how someone games. My husband games, usually a couple hours 1-2 nights a week online with his brother. It’s one of a few of his hobbies and I have zero problems with it. However I’ve dated men in the past who wanted to play video games 24/7 and it’s all they wanted to talk about. That got super boring super fast and that relationship didn’t last long
/r/PurplePillDebate30/12/25 08:03 PM
0

100 dates is a lot but not unreasonable. It doesn’t mean every date ends in sex. But 100 casual coffee like first dates from highschool till getting married isn’t really that crazy.
/r/PurplePillDebate30/12/25 07:55 PM
21

It took a couple decades for women to get to this point. Working women were looked down on a lot. They wanted to work anyway despite social pressure. If men want to break from their gender role they will have to be ok with doing the same. Some people will hate you for it, that is part of starting change.
/r/PurplePillDebate30/12/25 01:06 PM
8

Then I’m glad you exposed your true self and hopefully no one dates you. Some people don’t deserve relationships, like evil people
/r/PurplePillDebate30/12/25 12:58 PM
1

Right? I’ve been hit on by adult men since I was 11. I don’t really think that’s some big advantage…yes I get a lot of male attention and some of it is positive but a majority of the attention is negative.
/r/PurplePillDebate30/12/25 12:54 PM
2

Yes. Women will always have more suitors than men. There are enough desperate men out there that hit on anything with a skirt. I’ve been hit on by adult men since I was 11 years old. But because this attention is so overwhelming it becomes cheap and not considered valuable. I truly don’t care how many men hit on me…most aren’t even close to viable suitors
/r/PurplePillDebate30/12/25 12:52 PM

Are you dating within your direct friend group or friends of friends and acquaintances? I think dating inside a friend group is a recipe for drama personally
/r/PurplePillDebate29/12/25 08:32 PM
5

No it’s not, and again if a woman is rude to you, don’t date her. Why would you disrespect yourself like that?
/r/PurplePillDebate29/12/25 08:22 PM
4

I mean if she’s rude…don’t date her….? Am I missing something?
/r/PurplePillDebate29/12/25 07:51 PM
11

That’s a rude thing to say to someone. Especially if he was polite. Being rude is a shitty thing
/r/PurplePillDebate29/12/25 07:51 PM
1

Why would they be able to? The social skills are an instinct, something they don’t have to ever think about. It comes naturally like breathing.
/r/PurplePillDebate29/12/25 12:20 PM
2

Well of course, most couples both people HAVE to work. I do well enough (and all through merit based scholarship and hard work) to provide for us. But couples are coming more and more in to equal economic footing in relationships every year. It’s changing slowly but surely.
/r/PurplePillDebate29/12/25 12:19 PM

Because the assignments are different? She’s not taking tests at work. She’s working on projects she can fully sink into. She’s graded on how well the work is done, not on time (although she’s ahead most of the time). She loves coding and it makes sense to her, she’s just not a good test taker.
/r/PurplePillDebate28/12/25 09:46 PM

Yep! They get very confused when my “southern belle” look and Christian upbringing doesn’t make me a conservative…it actually pushed me into center left field
/r/PurplePillDebate28/12/25 09:38 PM

I’m left leaning, am the main breadwinner, and go to church every Sunday, heck I read scripture once a month. What does being a mom and going to church have to do with being left or right?
/r/PurplePillDebate28/12/25 09:37 PM
5

They also were going bankrupt from having to pay out lawsuits. They needed kids, any kids to join. I run a scout troop with my husband…they’ve had to do a lot to deal with the scandal
/r/PurplePillDebate28/12/25 09:24 PM
0

It might be, but kids NEED to go to school they don’t NEED to go to scouts. But really that’s all besides the point the main reason they let girls in, is because they were broke from all the sexual abuse lawsuits and needed bodies to pay annual fees and sell popcorn.
/r/PurplePillDebate28/12/25 09:23 PM
6

I work with the scouts. They added girls because they were going bankrupt and needed bodies to pay that sweet sweet annual fee. Where I live we don’t even combine the girls and boys troops, we have 2 boys troops and a girls troop and they maybe do 4-5 non over night events together a year. The cubs are combined but they’re super young.
/r/PurplePillDebate28/12/25 09:21 PM

I don’t know people’s sex lives and honestly if someone I’m not very close to, told me their issues in their sex life I’d be extremely uncomfortable. I would then perceive you as a potential threat because discussing sex with strangers and acquaintances is very odd off putting behavior. But if I don’t know your sex life or lack of it, how am I going to judge?
/r/PurplePillDebate28/12/25 09:17 PM
3

Do you understand how to write English….?
/r/PurplePillDebate28/12/25 09:14 PM

They have to believe these delusions otherwise they would have to face the fact that they are alone because of who they are and their looks, not just their looks.
/r/PurplePillDebate28/12/25 09:09 PM

Well I personally provide in my relationship. In fact my husband is a stay at home husband. The trends are changing slowly but surely. I have several friends that out earn their husbands
/r/PurplePillDebate28/12/25 09:06 PM
2

Yep I’m 5’1 and I have had men get very angry over being told the truth. They really don’t like it and I’m not about to put my safety at risk, almost any man could hurt me…I’m tiny
/r/PurplePillDebate28/12/25 09:03 PM
5

Yep! I’ve had a man yell at me because I suggested he stop wearing cargo shorts all the time and update his wardrobe…he asked me about his style and attracting women…we had been friends for 2 years at that point.
/r/PurplePillDebate28/12/25 04:47 PM

Why would you expect someone who isn’t autistic to be able to give advice on how to not be autistic? For NT people a lot of this is intuitive and does just come naturally.
/r/PurplePillDebate28/12/25 04:38 PM
2

No they do not. They get angry and with the messenger.
/r/PurplePillDebate28/12/25 04:34 PM
7

They don’t know you or your situation. You’re a faceless person on the internet asking for dating advice, the only advice they can give is generic because again they don’t know you personally.
/r/PurplePillDebate28/12/25 04:14 PM
8

Ya that woman is an actual crazy person. Dodged a bullet for sure
/r/PurplePillDebate28/12/25 04:08 PM

Because she has a disability that makes it take a little more time to process the information? But she knows the info and is extremely capable. She’s one of the top performers at her job.
/r/PurplePillDebate28/12/25 02:46 PM
1

She had accommodations all through school. And special tutors to help until the end of college that help people with autism learn to express what they are trying to say effectively
/r/PurplePillDebate28/12/25 02:12 PM
1

Well obviously that has been changing as we learn more about people’s abilities and that the test format isn’t always the best way to gauge someone’s knowledge.
/r/PurplePillDebate28/12/25 02:09 PM

I will use my brilliant little sister as an example. She has medium support needs autism. She is exceptionally smart but when younger had a very hard time writing down what was in her head. She had teachers give her, her tests verbally and she would score perfect scores, but 20s if she had to write. She’s now a successful computer scientist.
/r/PurplePillDebate28/12/25 01:42 PM

I mean not really? The test is to see if you know the material, not how fast you can recall it. If someone knows the material but due to a disability they need an extra 30 minutes to get everything complete, they still know the material. And in the real world fast recall isn’t really important as much as grasping the major topics and knowing to to find information that you need and analyze it.
/r/PurplePillDebate28/12/25 01:38 PM

Why?
/r/PurplePillDebate28/12/25 01:01 PM
2

Damn!
/r/PurplePillDebate27/12/25 11:22 PM
3

This is so painful…how does he not see it…
/r/PurplePillDebate27/12/25 11:18 PM
5

Honestly if it comes to that I’m just gonna kill myself. I would rather die than live in that world
/r/PurplePillDebate27/12/25 04:15 PM
2

This is the most delusional thing I’ve ever read. Maybe like .1% of college women are doing that…
/r/PurplePillDebate27/12/25 03:44 PM
2

Yep! My husband still doesn’t make as much as me, but he’s ambitious and talented and has a drive I find so incredibly sexy. I love that I can support him while he builds his dream business. He would wake up at 4 am to drive uber while I was finishing grad school to help pay the bills. I’m happy to return the favor now.
/r/PurplePillDebate27/12/25 03:42 PM
2

Yep, expectations of others no matter the gender usually leads to disappointment. The best thing is to set boundaries, but not expect things from others. Be willing to accept people as they are and remember we are all extremely flawed humans
/r/PurplePillDebate27/12/25 03:27 PM
3

Is adhd considered in that? Autism? Depression/anxiety? There are so many mental conditions that get accommodations and it’s not really a bad thing.
/r/PurplePillDebate27/12/25 03:16 PM
3

Well I’m an environmental scientist with multiple degrees…one in engineering
/r/PurplePillDebate27/12/25 03:15 PM
5

This is me. Heck my husband has dropped careers to follow mine because my career has been my dream since I was 7 years old and by the time moving cities became an option I made a lot more, while his job was just a job to him. He also helped me while I was getting advanced degrees in my field and helped support us. Now I support him while he is trying to build his dream business. I’m so glad we were able to support each other and wanted each other to try and achieve our dreams.
/r/PurplePillDebate27/12/25 03:14 PM
-1

Lord this sounds horrible. I’ll take being the breadwinner and supporting my husband while he pursues his dreams, since I’m in my dream career that I’ve wanted since 6 years old. Thank god for my husband.
/r/PurplePillDebate27/12/25 03:10 PM

I was forced to have a miscarriage at home because there was a tiny chance of viability just 3.5 months ago. I was bleeding and my hormones were 10x lower than expected, but because the number went up by 2 points when it was supposed to double it was potentially viable. Fuck all the people that voted for this.
/r/PurplePillDebate27/12/25 02:56 PM

I’d rather have my freedom than material safety. I carry a gun and know how to shoot
/r/PurplePillDebate27/12/25 02:53 PM

Yep I’m pretty liberal but I’m a southern belle and look the part. I’m literally a debutant. They want the aesthetic of “conservative woman tm”
/r/PurplePillDebate27/12/25 02:51 PM

Well that’s not reality. They want a delusion and that’s retarded
/r/PurplePillDebate27/12/25 02:46 PM

Yes some people vomit after having spaghetti once and can never eat spaghetti again without gagging. Some people couldn’t care less. But women tend to have a lower disgust threshold when it comes to food and men…
/r/PurplePillDebate26/12/25 01:33 AM

Because sometimes you have a bad experience with a juice that gave you food poisoning and it leaves an unsavory taste in your mouth and leaves you no longer wanting juice.
/r/PurplePillDebate26/12/25 12:52 AM

Yes because enough men are pathetic and desperate and will settle for anything…
/r/PurplePillDebate25/12/25 11:37 PM
31

This is it exactly! If my husband died tomorrow tragically I probably wouldn’t date again. Marriage is hard work and don’t get me wrong it’s been worth it with my husband, but I don’t want to start from scratch again. I love my peace and alone time and have a huge social/support network that I maintain who show me love constantly (I had several friends drive several hours to be at my brothers funeral without me even asking they just showed up to support me).
/r/PurplePillDebate25/12/25 09:06 PM
26

Yeah this is an individual thing. More women seem to be ok being single, but mostly women who have dated and decided it’s not worth the squeeze. Women who never really dated probably are more like this woman and some of the men on this sub
/r/PurplePillDebate25/12/25 09:03 PM
1

The amount of men who want virgin conservative women but hate religion is crazy to me…why would a woman stay a virgin if she’s not going to rot in hell for eternity…
/r/PurplePillDebate22/12/25 04:46 AM
2

I mean ideally your are trying to date acquaintances or friends of friends. Not your close friends.
/r/PurplePillDebate22/12/25 04:35 AM
2

It can be, and you can ask her just to casual coffee after the event for like half an hour. You don’t have to confess your love or make it weird
/r/PurplePillDebate22/12/25 04:33 AM
1

What? Going to a class and vibing with someone after chit chatting after class and light flirting is completely fine and not predatory. Going to class with the sole intention of trying to find a girl is but that is not usually someone sole intention and those guys get labeled creepy fast.
/r/PurplePillDebate22/12/25 04:32 AM
2

Because it’s not attractive…half the fun of dating is the mystery and the flirting. Being blunt just takes all the fun out of it. Especially before you really even know someone
/r/PurplePillDebate22/12/25 04:30 AM
6

Yes their boyfriends who are also druggies…terrible people tend to find each other
/r/PurplePillDebate22/12/25 04:13 AM
2

Not physically no. I think my husband is the sexiest man on the planet. My ideal type to a t.
/r/PurplePillDebate22/12/25 04:11 AM
1

Because coping with those things can be hard. And knowing something logically doesn’t resolve feelings, that takes a lot more work
/r/PurplePillDebate21/12/25 07:29 PM
1

Because most people don’t want to die and want to keep living and want to feel better. But a lot of things are out of our control, therapy is about learning to change what you can control and accept the things you can’t. You can’t control others, only yourself.
/r/PurplePillDebate21/12/25 03:53 PM
1

I mean you can start shaming smut…you can’t make others shame smut but you can get the ball rolling
/r/PurplePillDebate21/12/25 01:20 PM
3

Yes we definitely do, especially among friends. I’m probably not going to police what a random acquaintance I barely know does because that’s not my friend or my business, but I will 100% call out my close friends when they are being crazy towards their husbands and they do the same for me. I’ve straight up called my best friend a crazy bitch and told her she needs to apologize to her husband and she’s done the same for me. Just because yall don’t see it doesn’t mean we don’t do it.
/r/PurplePillDebate21/12/25 01:18 PM
2

Ya men just don’t see it. I tell my best friend when she’s being crazy and unempathetic towards her husband and she does the same with me. We are close enough where I can tell her she’s being a crazy bitch and she’s not offended, she goes…oh shit you might be right, then goes and apologizes to her husband. And vice versa when I’m on the receiving end. But we do this in private.
/r/PurplePillDebate21/12/25 01:16 PM
1

Yall need to stop listening to jealous women…you will never please all women and some will have a problem with what you do…because different women can have extremely different values
/r/PurplePillDebate21/12/25 01:12 PM
1

Yes but you aren’t trying to get with all women. You can’t please everyone and some woman is going to hate whatever you do while others might like it. Trying to please “women” is a fools errand
/r/PurplePillDebate21/12/25 01:07 PM
1

It’s not about finding a solution. It’s about learning to accept things that are out of your control and stop letting those things impact your emotions or at least give coping mechanisms to recognize when you are spiraling over things out of your control and can stop.
/r/PurplePillDebate21/12/25 12:58 PM
2

You tell them you want to work on actual strategies and coping mechanisms. Mine gives me mental health and mindfulness exercises and homework after each session that we then talk about the next session for a little bit.
/r/PurplePillDebate21/12/25 12:57 PM
2

Sure, but when I complain my therapist offers me tools on how to cope with things in my life that are out of my control. They also offer perspectives and ask prodding questions to challenge my view points of my life and my complaints. It’s very helpful instead of staying in a cynical spiral.
/r/PurplePillDebate21/12/25 12:56 PM
6

I mean how you tell the truth is honestly more important that what you’re saying. This is just for most people men and women, no one likes hearing harsh truths unless you sugar coat or sandwich it with compliments. This is exceptionally a problem with neurotypical people, body language and tone are more important than content.
/r/PurplePillDebate21/12/25 12:54 PM
1

Therapy helps you come to acceptance and helps you cope. It also is supposed to challenge you and make you ask questions about your preconceived ideas and biases. It’s supposed to help you see new perspectives while also getting out buried emotions.
/r/PurplePillDebate21/12/25 12:49 PM

Yes, my partner is fantastic around the house and helps out. I’m the primary bread winner and do most of the cooking but he does most of the cleaning. I do take care of our animals more but he does most of the yard work. It’s a good split

I worked and taught at a college. I taught biology 101 while getting my masters degree in biology. And yes salaried workers do get PTO? I earn 5 hours of PTO plus 4 hours of sick leave every pay period. Because I have a great job that I love and worked exceptionally hard for.
/r/PurplePillDebate10/12/25 12:13 AM

Adults with good jobs have PTO they can earn and can take time off at thanksgiving…
/r/PurplePillDebate09/12/25 04:30 PM

Idk my town has tons of all of those things, but people don’t show up. Theres posts on the Facebook page, fliers for groups all around town, library has several classes throughout the week for free…but people don’t come. We have yoga classes in the park during the summer, bars, live music downtown in the square. But you have to actually go.
/r/PurplePillDebate05/12/25 02:44 PM

There might be some? Usually the ones that do were raised in a very specific kind of environment. But I’m from the Deep South and even here most women like their men to open up
/r/PurplePillDebate05/12/25 01:26 AM
2

Ok but if he doesn’t like her, he shouldn’t date her. That’s kind of the point.
/r/PurplePillDebate05/12/25 01:22 AM

A lot of men show emotion by yelling and getting angry. Instead of talking about the emotion.
/r/PurplePillDebate05/12/25 01:21 AM

That’s a great attitude! I meant killing it in the attractive department but you’re right being in a loving relationship no matter your appearance is killing it.
/r/PurplePillDebate02/12/25 03:30 PM
2

I mean is it really killing it if the bar for hotty is just don’t be fat?
/r/PurplePillDebate02/12/25 03:24 PM
4

Yep I am! We’re both hotties for our age
/r/PurplePillDebate02/12/25 03:18 PM
5

Yep! While I’ve always been one of “the pretty ones” whatever that means. At 30 I’m a size 4…that makes me a super hotty at 30 compared to everyone else…but damn that’s not a high bar is it
/r/PurplePillDebate02/12/25 01:14 PM
5

That woman was a piece of work. I’ve never expected that kind of treatment from my male friends. This is not every woman’s expectation!
/r/PurplePillDebate02/12/25 01:10 PM

Do you think women don’t love our husbands? My husband is the best I’ve ever had in bed. By a long mile. Yall have so many weird assumptions
/r/PurplePillDebate02/12/25 12:48 AM

Right? My husband and I have only gotten better and better at sex. Literally each time it gets better because we communicate and actually like each other
/r/PurplePillDebate02/12/25 12:47 AM

Tinder has been around for over a decade
/r/PurplePillDebate02/12/25 12:43 AM

You know that feminists are the ones who have fought to either have women instated in the draft or remove it all together right? Even Hillary Clinton held this position, it’s conservative who push back against getting rid of the draft or including women
/r/PurplePillDebate01/12/25 03:45 PM
27

This is a reasonable thing to fight for. I’d support you if this is what you are fighting for specifically.
/r/PurplePillDebate01/12/25 03:44 PM

This just isn’t true. It might be a lot harder, but short and average men do meet people off of dating apps. But again I think guys should move away from them because it’s designed to make men miserable and keep them hooked
/r/PurplePillDebate01/12/25 03:12 PM
6

I know lots of couples where an average guy met their SO on tinder and hinge. It’s super common for people to meet online. Now it’s getting harder and I think it’s time for men to walk away from dating apps. It’s basically a big sausage fest with guys outnumbering girls by a vast vast majority.
/r/PurplePillDebate01/12/25 02:36 PM
2

Yep my dad said never to rely on a man, so I won’t and I don’t. I worked hard to get scholarships and am working the job I dreamed of at 7 years old. I’m living my ideal dream life minus kids…but I can’t have those.
/r/PurplePillDebate01/12/25 02:11 PM
5

Everyone cares to some extent. But some people care a whole lot less. Like I care what my core friends think about me, but I don’t care if people in town think I’m weird for wearing my favorite mushroom sweater and highlighter pink pants. I care if someone thinks I’m an actively mean person, I don’t care if someone thinks I’m a little standoffish because I wasn’t being overly bubbly for 15 minutes.
/r/PurplePillDebate01/12/25 01:47 PM
2

I mean I make plenty of money, so money isn’t a problem in our life. He has odd jobs here and there but mostly takes care of the house and do his leather side business. I work from home and we get to spend almost all of our time together. It’s a dream life
/r/PurplePillDebate01/12/25 01:43 PM

It’s a debate sub on an open forum, anyone has a right to voice an opinion on this sub. If he wants a sub about young men’s dating issues then he should make one. This isn’t that sub. This is an overall dating debate sub
/r/PurplePillDebate01/12/25 01:40 PM
3

The youngest are 29.
/r/PurplePillDebate01/12/25 01:38 PM
14

Right? Online dating has been around for almost 2 decades now. Apps were a big thing when I was in college and it wasn’t that long ago. I have multiple degrees, I stayed on campus a lot and taught labs and observed these 18-19 year olds. I was a resident assistant and helped these kids through their problems. We aren’t all out of touch
/r/PurplePillDebate01/12/25 01:37 PM
1

Eh my husband is ambitious in leatherwork but it doesn’t really make money, but I’m very into it.
/r/PurplePillDebate01/12/25 01:24 PM

How does that address violence women face from romantic partners? Even those that aren’t chad? That’s what makes dating for women worse. The potential for actual safety concerns. Not some weird mythical chad? Do you hear yourself?
/r/PurplePillDebate01/12/25 01:23 PM
2

Well ya I don’t know what guy would be ok with nonstop kazoo 😂 sounds annoying as hell
/r/PurplePillDebate01/12/25 01:17 PM

When a woman has a bad date she might not come home…that’s the point…no one wants to be a statistic.
/r/PurplePillDebate01/12/25 01:04 PM
1

I still wouldn’t really consider it ambition though if it’s a hobby. Idk there needs to be a seperate word for it, but ambition doesn’t fit with hobbies like it does a career. Passion fits but also not quite right.
/r/PurplePillDebate01/12/25 12:53 PM
1

Well feminism really only succeeded in getting equal legal rights. The social stuff they really aren’t succeeding. And there aren’t really many legal rights that change for men. The biggest one is the draft and lots of prominent feminists have said to either get rid of the draft or include women, conservative men keep shutting down the idea
/r/PurplePillDebate01/12/25 12:52 PM
1

It still happens all the time though? Even if it’s somewhat taboo that doesn’t stop it from happening a lot
/r/PurplePillDebate01/12/25 02:13 AM
2

No? Why would I? I got exactly what I want in a man and am very happy with my standards. In fact I think men need to raise their standards instead of settling for who they aren’t really attracted to just to get sex. I’m not ever going to be ashamed of who I’m attracted to.
/r/PurplePillDebate01/12/25 01:51 AM
2

But he’s the whole package. I don’t want to not get the whole package. I’ve been with guys with brown eyes and they don’t do it for me. I can’t get lost in their eyes and let go and release and cum. Just can’t do it. Idk why. Just can’t. But I can with men with blue eyes. Idk why. But it’s a fact of my sexuality
/r/PurplePillDebate01/12/25 01:03 AM
2

Yep! He’s the best in every way. Makes me laugh, makes me feel special, tells me everyday how lucky he is to have me, and I feel lucky to have him, he’s also the best in bed I’ve ever had by like 1000 miles. That doesn’t mean we don’t have problems we are human but I am obsessed with my husband
/r/PurplePillDebate01/12/25 12:55 AM

I’m from the southern United States, Alabama originally. So very different cultures. We are a social social bunch and go out in large groups. We chat with people in line at the grocery store around here. And no post Covid I would go out, and observe instead of participate because I was taken.
/r/PurplePillDebate01/12/25 12:54 AM
2

I mean if you are only going in 2 days a week that gives you 3 days with plenty of time to socialize so I don’t know what you’re complaining about? You just have to prioritize it.
/r/PurplePillDebate01/12/25 12:50 AM

This is what happened all the time when I went out to bars. But it might be culturally dependent, I’m from the south.
/r/PurplePillDebate01/12/25 12:48 AM

30 minutes is a much shorter commute than the 2 hours you mentioned originally. 30 minutes each way is reasonable.
/r/PurplePillDebate01/12/25 12:43 AM
1

Like I said before less than 20% of the population including male and female are actually self aware. You are expecting people to do things they can’t do.
/r/PurplePillDebate01/12/25 12:31 AM
2

I mean I found a guy that fits all of my standards to a T and married him. So it wasn’t that ridiculous.
/r/PurplePillDebate01/12/25 12:30 AM
1

At least where I live, there are a sizable portion of them and even the middle class act like that quite a lot. The upper middle class doesn’t though
/r/PurplePillDebate01/12/25 12:27 AM

I don’t go out much any more but when I was single and would go to bars we always went in groups of friends and guys approached us all the time. Usually one group of guys would approach our entire group and people would pair off and chit chat and see who clicks. Sometimes you meet someone special sometimes it’s a dud.
/r/PurplePillDebate01/12/25 12:15 AM

You could also just find work closer to home, with a shorter commute, might not be the career of your dreams but that depends on your priorities
/r/PurplePillDebate01/12/25 12:14 AM
2

It changes from person to person. For me it’s blue eyes and brown hair. I can only be attracted to guys that have blue eyes and brown hair, I’ve tried to be attracted to other things but I am not. Same with skinny guys, I love skinny men. I hate buff men and chubby men physically (friends with plenty of them but not my cub of tea to bang).
/r/PurplePillDebate01/12/25 12:13 AM
5

That’s just because men are more horny than women. Yall can’t seem to stop simping over any and all women for a wiff of vagina. Look at all the men who buy women’s bathwater. Until that changes women will always have it easier in getting laid. But it’s men’s problem with being extremely horny and being unable to control it
/r/PurplePillDebate01/12/25 12:08 AM
2

I mean sure? Certain things like clothing choices might change, especially when a teenager. But the core stuff I don’t think changes that much for people.
/r/PurplePillDebate30/11/25 11:45 PM
3

I mean that’s why I think men need to be careful about pressuring for sex. It turns your wife off. It’s a bedroom killer. If you want to kill your wife’s libido that’s how you do it. Instead you romance her throughout the day, send the flirty texts make her feel special, foreplay starts at 8 am. Many guys just think women should be turned on when asked without warming them up. I see it happen in couples all the time. And then he wonders why she doesn’t want to ever have sex when he never romance…
/r/PurplePillDebate30/11/25 11:20 PM
2

Many people think miserable moments are part of any relationship, the ebbs and flows. It’s hard to judge what is a hard season vs what is a permanent change.
/r/PurplePillDebate30/11/25 11:16 PM
6

Many hope it will change, if kids are involved it’s even harder. The sunk cost fallacy is real and happens in both genders even if he’s killed all her sexual drive. It also doesn’t mean it can’t be rekindled but it will take time and rebuilding trust. It’s hard work that a lot of men don’t want to do. But this is the person you told god you were going to be with forever, a lot of people take that extremely seriously even if ppd doesn’t think so.
/r/PurplePillDebate30/11/25 11:11 PM

No but a lot of the men who frequent this sub say stuff like this
/r/PurplePillDebate30/11/25 11:10 PM

Those are a lot of choices of your own making though. You don’t have to have a 2 hour commute everyday. It’s a choice. A hard choice sometimes but a choice. You could move your life around to prioritize having more time to be social by finding work closer to home even if it might mean a slight pay cut.
/r/PurplePillDebate30/11/25 11:09 PM

I’d go out with my girlfriends?
/r/PurplePillDebate30/11/25 11:07 PM
8

A lot of men make women feel pressured into sex. When she says no and you get visibly upset or beg it is a major turn off and makes sleeping with you seem like a chore. So many men do this in their relationships over and over and ruin the sex drive of their partners. I see it happen all the time. In most dead bedrooms there was a case where a woman said no and her partner got extremely upset and after that she dried up on him completely.
/r/PurplePillDebate30/11/25 11:02 PM
2

I actually don’t think it does that much, I think men have always found the kind of women in porn to be hot, look at all the sexy statues of women, basically 3d porn back in the day of women with huge tits and a big ass with a slight tummy. Men have been wired this way forever.
/r/PurplePillDebate30/11/25 11:00 PM
4

It seems to be the most important thing to a lot of men, more than who their partner even is. Guys on this sub say that men get with women they don’t even like all the time because otherwise they would have access to sex. We see this. We know most of yall don’t care about who the person is
/r/PurplePillDebate30/11/25 10:55 PM
6

Because they put so much emphasis on it. Yes sex is fun. But Jesus men act like it’s the entire point of living. It makes it so off putting. It makes it not fun. It puts so much pressure on sex when men make it seem like it’s so important to a point that many women stop wanting to have it.
/r/PurplePillDebate30/11/25 10:50 PM
3

I mean I don’t expect men to. If they don’t want to approach they shouldn’t. Just like if women don’t want to approach they shouldn’t. Everyone has free will
/r/PurplePillDebate30/11/25 10:44 PM
1

Yep. I love my husband but if he were to disappear tomorrow I’d be devastated, but I’d be able to keep living and live a very good life without him. He is the cherry on top to make my life perfect, but without him my life is still pretty damn good due to how much money I make and the community I built.
/r/PurplePillDebate30/11/25 10:43 PM
3

We have almost zero sex education on this stuff and we really only started studying the effects of hormones on the woman’s body scientifically a couple decades ago. We are still learning more and more. Female health science has lacked for centuries and is finally getting some recognition the last couple of decades. They used to not test medicine on women at all and just assumed it’d be fine if the men were fine.
/r/PurplePillDebate30/11/25 10:41 PM
1

I’m not super pro cold approaching. But if men are going to do it, they need to stop being timid about it and have some confidence, be polite, and take a no respectfully. It can be done, but a lot of men on this site are not exactly socially skillled so it’s risky.
/r/PurplePillDebate30/11/25 10:39 PM
-1

Right? My life is amazing. I have my dream job, I love my community and have a huge support network. If my husband were to tragically die tomorrow I wouldn’t try to date again. We get along great but I don’t know if it would be worth it to do it all over with someone new. Maybe if I met a unicorn somewhere 20 years down the line but I doubt it.
/r/PurplePillDebate30/11/25 10:37 PM

There are stats in this saying single women are actually the happiest demographic. More than single men, more than married men, and more than married women.
/r/PurplePillDebate30/11/25 10:35 PM
-1

Most women are not having casual sex beyond maybe one or two fuck buddies in a life time. Most are sleeping with boyfriends and have 1-4 before meeting the one.
/r/PurplePillDebate30/11/25 10:31 PM
1

I hear women say men have it easier in the job market, but I’ve been hearing that less and less the last few years as that’s shifted. I have heard women say they have it harder in dating due to the sexual harassment and I can get that angle, I was harassed a lot while single, and still do get harassed even now quite a bit. It’s a different kind of struggle, women are worried about violence that might happen. No one wants to be a statistic.
/r/PurplePillDebate30/11/25 10:29 PM

It’s disappearing and has been for years more and more. It’s almost completely gone. Is that too hard for you to grasp?
/r/PurplePillDebate30/11/25 10:27 PM

Ya if other men. Thats the whole point.
/r/PurplePillDebate30/11/25 10:26 PM
1

I don’t think so, I’ve met trailer trash men that beat the shit out of their wives (I begged her not to marry him) but treat their dogs like princesses. It happens all the time if you are slightly outside of a city.
/r/PurplePillDebate30/11/25 10:17 PM
7

Ok but telling them this won’t make them find people attractive they don’t find attractive. It’s essentially telling them to lower their standards and date people they aren’t attracted to, which the men on this site think is suicide fuel.
/r/PurplePillDebate30/11/25 10:16 PM
2

Yes because people don’t want to look at their flaws. No one does. It’s not fun. It’s good for people but they hate it. And if they aren’t ready to look at their flaws they will attack you for pointing them out. It’s how people are.
/r/PurplePillDebate30/11/25 10:13 PM

What are you talking about? Who said I was settling?
/r/PurplePillDebate30/11/25 10:12 PM

I told you I’m a biologist and data analyst. It’s thanksgiving break though so I have plenty of time.

No the bargain is freedom of association. We live in a free society no one is required to do anything other than pay taxes and follow the laws.
/r/PurplePillDebate30/11/25 06:26 PM
1

Nah there’s a lot of things I don’t know. But I know biology. You seem to be the arrogant dipshit who thinks she knows everything because she almost became a biology major. 😂😂😂
/r/PurplePillDebate30/11/25 06:25 PM
3

I think we are equally amazing?
/r/PurplePillDebate30/11/25 06:22 PM

What is the bargain? The bargain is working and paying taxes.
/r/PurplePillDebate30/11/25 06:20 PM

Your friend sounds like she’s not applying well. It took me a year to find my first job managing a lab, and now I oversee data for several states.
/r/PurplePillDebate30/11/25 06:19 PM
8

We want rights to self fulfillment. Same legal rights and access to work. Social change beyond legal change takes a lot of generations
/r/PurplePillDebate30/11/25 06:14 PM
7

Why? That makes no sense? Women still deserve freedom like all human beings
/r/PurplePillDebate30/11/25 05:58 PM
1

I think a lot of guys do go through a phase of this, especially when going through puberty and some hold onto it longer than others but that most men stop this after a very short time. But that’s just based on my observations of men and how they grow and mature. Most MEN do not view women as a set of holes. Most men mature out of that mindset
/r/PurplePillDebate30/11/25 05:45 PM
2

We were talking about men who behave in certain ways not men as a whole. At least that’s how I interpreted it.
/r/PurplePillDebate30/11/25 05:32 PM
1

I didn’t even say most? I said a lot. There are a lot of bad women too. There are a lot of bad people in every demographic.
/r/PurplePillDebate30/11/25 05:28 PM
1

Not all men. There are still plenty of good men. But there are also lots of men that view women as nothing more than holes who think women shouldn’t be able to vote.
/r/PurplePillDebate30/11/25 05:22 PM
-1

I mean you are looking for the one right? Long term comparability is rare. Most people aren’t compatible for a lifelong partnership. That’s why men really should be more picky in my opinion
/r/PurplePillDebate30/11/25 05:07 PM
1

Because they are in their peak hormonal angry stage. Again unless they are one of the few people with self awareness (studies have shown in both genders self awareness is barely in double digits). People get blinded by their hormones and ego and can’t see it. You seem to expect people to be better than they are, I expect them to act exactly like people act and this is what people do.
/r/PurplePillDebate30/11/25 04:50 PM
2

Yep! Look at who is giving you advice and if you actually like the life they are leading.
/r/PurplePillDebate30/11/25 04:38 PM

I mean that sounds like the guy is really pathetic and lacks any self respect…that’s depressing g
/r/PurplePillDebate30/11/25 04:37 PM
6

Yep! A man that can respectfully take a no almost never gets labeled as creepy and I’ve actually set up a lot of guys I’ve rejected with their current spouse. One of my best friends from college was exactly that. I met the guy before she did, but didn’t like him like that, told him so. We were still friends and I brought some of my girlfriends to a party and introduced him to my best friend and they instantly clicked and have been married happily for a few years now. I don’t do this for men that…

People go in and out of their relationship with god and most of the young people I know leave the church, do their thing, and come back when they are in their 30s and ready to actually make a commitment to God after living a life and knowing what it really means to love God and be loved by God.
/r/PurplePillDebate30/11/25 04:18 PM
0

It’s true of a lot of men.
/r/PurplePillDebate30/11/25 04:14 PM
1

No it’s not dude. Humans have been partying and having sex since forever. It is a natural part of being a human. You might not like it, but it is true. Most humans throughout history have a rebellious teenager phase where they party and disobey their parents and do the things they were told not to do. It’s extremely normal for this to happen. It happens in most cultures, hell even among the Amish.
/r/PurplePillDebate30/11/25 04:13 PM
2

It’s a lot easier said than done because of how the hormones make you feel. A lot of women can’t see how much different they act. A majority of people on earth are not self aware. Again you gotta expect people to be people. We see men do the same thing with things they eat causing heartburn or negative sexual behavior.
/r/PurplePillDebate30/11/25 04:03 PM
1

Well he exists, we were in honors college together and he pulled nerdy chicks all the time
/r/PurplePillDebate30/11/25 03:58 PM
1

Sins can be forgiven if truly a sin and if asked for from god sincerely. That’s kind of the whole point of Christianity
/r/PurplePillDebate30/11/25 03:51 PM

There are effective ways of communicating. Brutal honesty is almost never effective and usually causes breakdowns in connection. Most people want honesty coated with sweetness. You give a compliment, say the honest thing, then give another compliment. It’s very basic communication skills that improve the reactions you will get. Stop expecting humans to not be humans and adapt to human behavior.
/r/PurplePillDebate30/11/25 03:51 PM
2

Well I’ve seen it, so I believe it. This guys straight up looked like a leprechaun and had no trouble pulling chicks at parties and bars and had multiple 3somes. He was charming and could make you feel special.
/r/PurplePillDebate30/11/25 03:49 PM

Most people need to learn through experience. That’s just how most people are wired. That’s a fact of life.
/r/PurplePillDebate30/11/25 03:48 PM
7

Well that’s not how female sexuality works and never will. If you want women to date men that are average and below, giving them a chance is part of that.
/r/PurplePillDebate30/11/25 03:45 PM
14

Yall tell women all the time to lower your standards and date the nice guy. What do yall want?
/r/PurplePillDebate30/11/25 03:24 PM
15

I gave a nice guy a chance, he was an engineer a little overweight but “a nice guy” according to everyone who knew him who said to give him a change. he strung me along about whether or not we wanted kids, yelled at and tried to shame me into sending him nudes, and asked me to move closer to him so he could see me more just to say that nope actually it doesn’t matter he can’t see me more. But everyone said he was the nicest guy! He was friend of a friend and had lots of compliments about being n…

Eh it’s true of a lot of men. They treat their dogs much better than the women in their lives. Probably not the majority, but it’s a sizable portion that’s noticeable
/r/PurplePillDebate30/11/25 03:19 PM
2

They treat them like sex objects and set of holes a lot of the time
/r/PurplePillDebate30/11/25 03:18 PM

Most women I know have asked out at least one or two guys and gone on dates with them. Or asked for numbers. They just aren’t doing it with you apparently.
/r/PurplePillDebate30/11/25 03:18 PM
0

Because they view women as sex objects to be collected and owned, not real people
/r/PurplePillDebate30/11/25 03:17 PM
4

They do it all the time “look what she was wearing” “why was she alone at night” “why did she go to a party and drink, she knew the risks”
/r/PurplePillDebate30/11/25 03:08 PM
4

I think this can be said about women too with a lot of contradictory things we are expected to be. People are often contradictory and when living in a multicultural society you will hear a lot of contradictory advise. Part of maturing is realizing this and forging your own path and finding what works for you without caring too much what others think as long as you aren’t actively trying to hurt other people
/r/PurplePillDebate30/11/25 03:06 PM
8

I mean if you are respectful and take a no with grace and humility, most people aren’t going to judge you and the ones that do probably have a bunch of personal problems and you shouldn’t listen to them anyway. You have to learn what works for you and do the things you want to do as long as that desire is not hurting other people
/r/PurplePillDebate30/11/25 03:04 PM
1

Women aren’t a monolith, all advise should be taken with a grain of salt because you are dealing with individuals who have completely different lived experiences and expectations. There is no one size fits all model and there never will be.
/r/PurplePillDebate30/11/25 03:01 PM
1

I’m a moderate Christian. But I take the Bible with a huge grain of salt and interpret it like a bad game of telephone. I also believe we are forgiven of our sins, so see no issue with kids partying in teens then maturing and seeking forgiveness later. It’s how we grow and learn. Most people have to learn through experience and that’s just the way it is
/r/PurplePillDebate30/11/25 02:58 PM
1

Ya that happens when people go to college, even moderate religious people do that.
/r/PurplePillDebate30/11/25 02:42 PM
1

I got religious parties, not hardcore religious ones because those people are usually psychos, but I’m a leader in my moderate church and throw parties, but we’re adults, the teens don’t like to come they go throw their own parties and that’s ok. We trust they are going to be safe and do things like use protection and call us if they get too drunk. I’d rather them do that and know that they won’t be chastised and can call me and I will help them.
/r/PurplePillDebate30/11/25 02:27 PM
2

Why is drinking and having fun stupid? Especially if done in moderation and controlled environments? Most people aren’t out there getting blackout drunk every weekend, maybe of a birthday. Most people aren’t fucking everytime they go out. Dancing is fun, partying is fun, an occasional hookup or make out with a stranger is fun, for both parties. As long as everyone is consenting and being safe/using protection I have zero issues with teens doing this stuff. It’s completely normal teenage behavior…
/r/PurplePillDebate30/11/25 02:25 PM

And why would I care if it’s degeneracy? All people throughout history have partied, except the weirdo puritans and super religious. Partying is fun and you get to meet so many different people and have a lot of experiences. You have opportunities to fuck up and grow and learn more about yourself. Why would I view that as a bad thing?

Nope, he looked like a leprechaun I thought that implied he was white ginger. He was a middle class white dude, getting an architecture degree (medium money).

There are ways to advance without going to management
/r/PurplePillDebate30/11/25 12:55 PM

I mean I get people might not like it, but also it is what it is, you aren’t going to change what people are attracted to, you find a unicorn or accept you might not find someone. It sucks and I feel bad that it sucks, but life sucks a lot of the time. It is what it is
/r/PurplePillDebate30/11/25 12:49 PM

I am not submissive or demure. And not I don’t want that. I want assertive and dominant. I want someone who knows when to lead and when to follow. Someone with self respect
/r/PurplePillDebate30/11/25 12:03 PM

Also very true, for a lot them if they are working it seems like it’s just a job for them. As someone who worked hard to follow her dreams starting in middle school making all As to get scholarships so I could follow my dreams through multiple advanced degrees, I’d be very offended if my partner didn’t care about my career. It’s my dream and my life, what I have dedicated my life to, and it pays well while I get to help keep people healthy and safe from toxins

I tell my husband the same thing, he’s thinning out on top and eventually (not yet) he needs to just bite the bullet and shave it.
/r/PurplePillDebate30/11/25 11:27 AM
1

Well if you decide to go bald, I vote go full bald. It looks much worse when guys try to cling desperately to those last few hairs…my dad had 6 hairs on the top of his head he refused to shave for over a decade and he look absolutely ridiculous.
/r/PurplePillDebate30/11/25 11:09 AM

Not really. Engineering degrees don’t require secondary education. The liberal arts degrees do though.
/r/PurplePillDebate30/11/25 11:07 AM

Yep it’s like rapists. Most men by a long shot will never rape a woman, however rapists tend to be serial rapists and impact a lot of women. Same with gold diggers and same with most forms of abusive people. They are the minority but they inflict damage on lots of people so lots of people have horror stories and trauma that is hard to get past.
/r/PurplePillDebate30/11/25 11:06 AM
1

Girls don’t get boners dude. A lot of women can’t even tell when they are aroused. It feels like you have to pee a little bit. It’s very subtle and not direct like a boner is. And ya I can find someone hot without being sexually aroused.
/r/PurplePillDebate30/11/25 11:03 AM
3

You assume you are correct. Lots of us are with our dream man and some super model would never pull us away. I personally think my husband is the hottest man on the planet…why do yall assume we aren’t attracted to our husbands. Most dead bedrooms come from a lack of communication and connection that kills attraction over time, not physical attractiveness
/r/PurplePillDebate30/11/25 11:02 AM

Yep, I had a friend in college who was 5’4 and looked like a lephrechaun…he got laid and had lots of threesomes (I knew the girls and they confirmed!). Only one girlfriend through college but lots and lots of hookups. He was charming and confident and made people feel special.
/r/PurplePillDebate30/11/25 10:56 AM
5

Sure a broke loser. But not a broke person in general. And there’s a difference. When your broke matters a lot, in college we’re all broke so no one cares. At 30? You’re still broke and haven’t figured out how to take care of yourself? Is there a reason your broke? Did you have to quit work to take care of a sick and dying parent or do you just lack any drive? These are important differences
/r/PurplePillDebate30/11/25 10:53 AM

No? I want my standards and am fine being single if I don’t get them. I’d rather be single than in my ideal relationship. Thankfully I found an amazing man who makes the men here look ridiculous with what they say who met all of my standards. Y

A psychology degree is fine, if you plan on going through the whole education line to become an incensed therapist. If you have no goals then ya that’s a regarded ass move
/r/PurplePillDebate30/11/25 10:48 AM

I am also assertive and dominant sometimes. It’s part of being a functional adult who doesn’t get walked all over. I don’t want someone who is mean, there’s a big difference yall can’t seem to grasp
/r/PurplePillDebate30/11/25 10:45 AM

I mean ya, kids should be kids, it’s their only chance in life to be a kid and be immature without ruining their life. That’s the whole point, they can fuck up and learn who they are and what they like and have room to fail.
/r/PurplePillDebate30/11/25 10:29 AM

I mean it is true. We both get told by strangers how hot of a couple we are. I was asked about modeling petite clothes and he’s been told he should have been an actor by random strangers. I’m also a scientist and went to school on full scholarship and he does blue collar work with a business degree and working to own his on business. We also are really popular in town and are staples in our community, we volunteer and go to church weekly.

I had a lot of fun while partying. Idk what you are talking about it’s a lot of fun and I regret none of it. I made a lot of core memories and friends and had so many experiences that shaped my life while having a ball.

Women dump on gold diggers openly in comment sections all the time…not women who sleep around because most modern women don’t view that as an inherently wrong thing as long as there is protection and consent. And almost obly ever see women say be disrespectful to a man who has been disrespectful first, I don’t agree with this but it’s a world view a lot of people have about other people in general.
/r/PurplePillDebate30/11/25 01:59 AM

/r/PurplePillDebate30/11/25 01:50 AM

I said I see women call each other out on social media all the time. Look at comment sections, yes there are the “yas queen girls” but there are also the “pick me” girls who will call out what they view as bad behavior constantly. We aren’t a monolith. Also what is considered bad behavior is subjective. Something you think is bad women might not so they wouldn’t call it out.
/r/PurplePillDebate30/11/25 01:42 AM

I use my parents as an example of what a relationship shouldn’t be as well. I have found much better role models
/r/PurplePillDebate30/11/25 01:38 AM

Agreed, people on this sub constantly forget we are individuals with different backgrounds and microcultures. There is no set script or cheat code because of this. Especially in melting pot countries like the USA
/r/PurplePillDebate30/11/25 01:37 AM
2

Where are women supposed to out other women in public other than social media? I am not going to go up to any random stranger or friend and try to publically embarrass them, man or woman. That cruel and unusual unless they are physically violent.
/r/PurplePillDebate30/11/25 01:32 AM

Yep I have. But I have seen the scenario described in my example a lot more than what you’ve described. I have seen women beg and plead for flowers for husbands to constantly forget, even though they see the flowers everytime they go to the grocery store. It’s the repeatedly feeling ignored that causes most women to snap and go full psycho like you are talking about.
/r/PurplePillDebate30/11/25 01:30 AM

Ya honestly that really bugged me. Do you not live in this house and drink/use the same milk I do? How much of an absolute brain dead idiot do you have to be to not know what kind of milk you drink at home? How checked out of the relationship are these men!
/r/PurplePillDebate30/11/25 01:22 AM

Being brutally honest can still hurt her feelings and she can decide she wants to be with someone who knows how to deliver soft blows.
/r/PurplePillDebate30/11/25 01:21 AM

The men are going crazy over your very valid point. If you have a long term partner you should know them well enough to anticipate quite a few of their needs. You won’t get it 100% accurate, men and women and sometimes fights happen. All couples have fights sometimes even when they try to communicate clearly. The men here lack nuance
/r/PurplePillDebate30/11/25 01:20 AM

A lot use metaphors and symbols to make points in their books. Hidden messages to look for. Especially older books where writing about sex or negatively about royalty or the church could get you executed. There was a priest who wrote a 20 page poem about a forest but the whole thing was actually about how big his penis was.
/r/PurplePillDebate30/11/25 01:17 AM

Most people are trained to mask when dating. My mom straight up told me to mask on dates early on. Point blank said you should alter your personality to be less when meeting men and let them see the real you later. She also told my brother this same advice. I told her she was an idiot and I want someone who likes me for me, not someone I’m pretending to be and she got offended. But I already knew my mom was an idiot and couldn’t be trusted so I knew not to listen. Not everyone does
/r/PurplePillDebate30/11/25 01:15 AM

I mean we don’t know what his pattern of long term behavior is. Because normally it’s not about the flowers it’s about repeated thoughtlessness over and over again that starts to cause the all or nothing because she starts to realize he’s never going to change and she’s potentially stuck with a thoughtless partner who won’t put her first.
/r/PurplePillDebate30/11/25 01:12 AM

Yep, born and raised in the south. Being direct (even as a man) is often looked down upon down here. Everything has to be said through shades of politeness. Being direct will make you a social pariah down south.
/r/PurplePillDebate30/11/25 01:08 AM

That doesn’t bring validation…they want validation
/r/PurplePillDebate30/11/25 01:01 AM
1

I mean I don’t see men calling out other men on social media very much either. That’s why basing opinions about the world off of what you read in comments on the internet is stupid and we tell people to go touch grass and talk with some actual humans face to face
/r/PurplePillDebate30/11/25 12:59 AM

No they don’t. I’m the head of my household and other men differ to my husband even though I am the head of household. They don’t seem to care that I am the primary and sometimes sole breadwinner for the household. They see he’s a man and so he must be in charge. And even saying I’m head of household makes me feel icky. We are a team, a partnership. I lead in some ways and he leads in someways. But no people are not ready to accept that women are heads of households
/r/PurplePillDebate30/11/25 12:58 AM

Right? Is he trying to be a professional kazoo player and make actual money (not likely). Then it’s a hobby, not ambition.
/r/PurplePillDebate30/11/25 12:46 AM

A career and a job are different. One requires ambition and passion the other doesn’t.
/r/PurplePillDebate30/11/25 12:44 AM
1

I’d say it to a woman outside of my friend group too. Why would I care if I hurt a random woman’s feelings especially if she’s in the wrong. Hell I’ve called my best friend a psycho to her face when she’s complained about her husband before, she got mad at first then 10 minutes later was like, you’re right. Just because you don’t see it doesn’t mean we don’t do it.
/r/PurplePillDebate30/11/25 12:43 AM
2

It’s part of life. There are people above me and people below me. We all have the ability to make changes. I don’t look down on poor people who are poor but have put in effort not to be. But I do look down on poor people who have zero desire to change their circumstances and complain about their circumstances. If they are happy with them and don’t complain I don’t look down on them either, it’s their life if they like those circumstances more power to them.
/r/PurplePillDebate30/11/25 12:41 AM

Putting yourself and your needs first and foremost, even eschewing society to carve your own path if necessary. Using your freedom to achieve your dreams even potentially at the cost of others. It’s what America is basically founded on.
/r/PurplePillDebate30/11/25 12:39 AM
1

I mean hyper individualism is a relatively new thing, it’s also a pretty American thing. American men are much more individualistic and always have been compared to other cultures. And community almost always centered around church. And the church has done a great job of driving young people away with all the hate and judgement.
/r/PurplePillDebate30/11/25 12:20 AM

Men (at least citizen men in the US) had a high degree of individualism. You had to work on your own to make it. You didn’t have help unless you came from a wealthy family and lots of men were rugged individualists. Unless you got drafted, and I am an advocate for either making women join the draft or removing the draft, have been vocal about that my whole life.
/r/PurplePillDebate30/11/25 12:19 AM

I am a real scientist…I am a biologist. Like what are you talking about? Do you realize how arrogant you sound? I’m a trained biologist with multiple stem degrees, and you thought about majoring in biology. You’re an arrogant idiot p
/r/PurplePillDebate30/11/25 12:12 AM

We had hyper individualism before feminism, at least for men. Feminism brought hyper individualism to women too.
/r/PurplePillDebate30/11/25 12:08 AM

Ya this is the answer. Everyone cares a little bit about how others think. When people say not to care about what others think they are saying to try and put less weight on those feelings and realize you are fine without the person rejecting you.
/r/PurplePillDebate30/11/25 12:06 AM
2

Ya fuck adults who act like children honestly. The worst of the worst people. After 30 if you still act like a spoiled teenager often (everyone has a bad day now and again! I will look down on you.
/r/PurplePillDebate30/11/25 12:03 AM
1

Do you not understand majorities? Yes some women track and we have the data from that. Most women don’t or don’t consistently do that data wouldn’t be used. But due to stats the sample size from the women who do use tracking apps is enough to draw conclusions. You really aren’t a scientist at all.
/r/PurplePillDebate29/11/25 11:59 PM

Yes all adults should act like adults then and stop bitching and complaining about things when they will not actively seek change
/r/PurplePillDebate29/11/25 11:58 PM

We said basic Billy, not hot Henry
/r/PurplePillDebate29/11/25 11:55 PM

Be an ADULT. And stop being a little bitch. I tell women the same thing all the time.
/r/PurplePillDebate29/11/25 11:49 PM

My sanity does eventually though. You can only try to help and have empathy so many times. Eventually you lose it when someone consistently shoots themselves in the foot and is their own worst enemy who won’t even try to change.
/r/PurplePillDebate29/11/25 11:48 PM
1

Oh ya that’s bad. I hadn’t ever seen that. I had only seen content from a couple of years ago and all her posts were her making fun of misogynists. Sad she’s gonna down this path. That sucks
/r/PurplePillDebate29/11/25 11:33 PM
1

I’ve never heard her say men are intrinsically evil, but I don’t watch her content. And Im not a huge fan because her laugh sounds like nails on a chalkboard to me. Can you link to that internally evil thing though? I’m interested in seeing that and changing my mind
/r/PurplePillDebate29/11/25 11:30 PM

We are both. But we are learning more and more every year how much hormones influence decision making and it’s a lot. Your gut bacteria also can drastically impact decision making. We aren’t magical special creatures. We are animals that are intelligent enough to understand ourselves but not necessarily smart enough to fully over come our animal nature. We can make adaptions sure, but never fully overcome them.
/r/PurplePillDebate29/11/25 11:25 PM

Again all I’ve ever seen drew do is make fun of men who have posted misogynistic content. I’m of the mind if you can’t take the heat stay out of the kitchen. I’m not a fan of hers but if you’re going to say mean stuff you should expect people to be mean back to you.

My husband and I are grade A hotties. We are both also neurodivergent weirdos. But he could have been a male model and I have a cute face with a stacked body. We also like who ea ch other are on the inside. But my husband is the hottest man I’ve ever seen

/r/PurplePillDebate29/11/25 10:41 PM

I have a masters degree in biology and I’m a woman. You don’t know what you’re talking about. I literally analyze biology and environmental data for a living. And have been for a long time.
/r/PurplePillDebate29/11/25 10:32 PM
3

We need much better sex education on this stuff honestly. Hormones impact so much of our lives.
/r/PurplePillDebate29/11/25 10:24 PM

There’s a point when empathy is actually harmful and can cause enabling. Like anything taken to the extreme empathy can be harmful
/r/PurplePillDebate29/11/25 10:19 PM

Again this is Reddit. Most women aren’t on Reddit. Reddit draws weirdo women a lot of whom are on the spectrum. Most women are gonna be on Instagram or TikTok, not Reddit. Women on Reddit shouldn’t be used to judge women as a whole. I’m the only girl out of all of my girlfriends who ever uses Reddit. It’s just as stupid as women claiming all men are misogynist rapists based off of what they used to see on the black pill subreddit.
/r/PurplePillDebate29/11/25 10:14 PM

1.2 million is a vast minority of women…that’s not that many compared to overall population.
/r/PurplePillDebate29/11/25 10:04 PM

Because everyone has agency to change their lives. I have empathy for a lot of people but will lose it if someone only complains and refuses to use their agency to try and help themselves. I work with lots of addicts. You can’t help or care for someone who doesn’t want to help or care for themselves. You can open the door and say you will be there if they ever want to change.
/r/PurplePillDebate29/11/25 09:53 PM

I mean I’m voicing my opinion on it. Based on my lived experience. And most women I meet don’t even use Reddit let alone know what twoX even is
/r/PurplePillDebate29/11/25 09:25 PM

And I don’t give a shit about those dating problems. They can whine and cry all they want and I still don’t care.
/r/PurplePillDebate29/11/25 08:48 PM
1

How many are bots though and how many are active? I’m sure I have an old account I don’t use that is still a member, but I’m not active and couldn’t remember my old log in info so the account exists in the ether. Two X has had a notorious reputation for awhile now of being extremist
/r/PurplePillDebate29/11/25 08:48 PM
2

The only dating problems of women’s that I expect men to care about are the actual violence from men. Not whether or not her boyfriend is the man of her dreams or if she can’t find the man she wants. Who cares? But I do care about women and men in abusive relationships.
/r/PurplePillDebate29/11/25 08:38 PM
2

Sure, because the top men will attract the minority of women who are extreme partiers. And I have seen the opposite of what you have described. All of my college aged sisters friends relentless slut shame. They are ok with sleeping with a boyfriend but think it’s trashy to hook up. And the data shows that the majority of young women and men are not partying at all but staying home and playing on their phones.
/r/PurplePillDebate29/11/25 07:39 PM
3

What you are seeing is groups of women splitting. The hyper sexual women who make porn accounts are not the norm. Also a lot of women turn to porn out of desperation not because they want to…same with the swingers pages and the polycules. And there’s much less partying now than there was a decade ago…
/r/PurplePillDebate29/11/25 07:35 PM
3

Not really? We actually see it changing and women becoming more prudish overall with younger women, going out less, drinking less, and having less sex.
/r/PurplePillDebate29/11/25 07:29 PM
2

Sure there’s 7 billion people on the planet. Even a small percentage of that is a fuck ton of people doing those behaviors. Doesn’t mean it’s the norm
/r/PurplePillDebate29/11/25 07:27 PM
14

I have helped many men get sober. I’m a recovered alcoholic and help lots of people with their addiction issues. I help men all the time.

My church group, my work group, my volunteer group, my garden group, my crafting group, and my book club. Then family of course. Also keeping up with college friends about once a week.
/r/PurplePillDebate29/11/25 07:21 PM

Sure if you feed yourself daily content of all the fucked up things in the world. But when you go interact with people in real life it’s not nearly as scary and bad as the internet makes it seem
/r/PurplePillDebate29/11/25 07:21 PM
1

I’m not…about either…there is data on these things. Like I said most women do not track or track inconsistently making the data useless. And yes we are heavily influenced by our hormones…this isn’t a disputed thing in biology…all animals are influenced by hormones…it’s literally the point of hormones
/r/PurplePillDebate29/11/25 07:19 PM
1

Yes that’s why the average for women is slightly higher.
/r/PurplePillDebate29/11/25 07:18 PM
2

Usually at least like 3. I have 6…in college I had 11 different circles
/r/PurplePillDebate29/11/25 06:43 PM

Sounds like you have personal issues to work out…that’s extreme paranoia
/r/PurplePillDebate29/11/25 06:39 PM

You know you can love all those things and yourself? Love is not a finite resource
/r/PurplePillDebate29/11/25 06:33 PM

I mean I bet it sucks to be a virgin at 30, I can have some empathy for that.
/r/PurplePillDebate29/11/25 06:07 PM
8

I mean you said men’s issues. Men’s issues are extremely important but not whether or not you get laid. It’s the lowest priority
/r/PurplePillDebate29/11/25 06:06 PM

Ok did she laugh at one funny joke that was super funny or does she laugh at your jokes even when they aren’t funny. Do you not see the difference?

Do you not have multiple social circles? Especially when young?
/r/PurplePillDebate29/11/25 05:54 PM

Warm approaches work with acquaintances and people on the periphery of your social circle. It’s a very bad idea to do this with someone in your everyday circle.
/r/PurplePillDebate29/11/25 05:53 PM

Yeah, if he was absolutely perfect? Of course. That’s just not reality though
/r/PurplePillDebate29/11/25 05:52 PM
13

There are lots of men’s issues I care about. Their lack of sex isn’t the top priority. I care more about their addiction and homeless rates than whether a 20 year old can get laid.
/r/PurplePillDebate29/11/25 05:51 PM
29

Yep! Like I feel bad for male virgins, but in the grand scheme of things it’s not the top priority.
/r/PurplePillDebate29/11/25 05:50 PM

TwoX has become a pretty extremist female space…I wouldn’t consider that what normal women think.

I’m a biologist.

I didn’t say they did it every month? I said they were more receptive when ovulating than other points in the month…that when she’s ovulating is when she’s most likely to say yes to casual sex.
/r/PurplePillDebate29/11/25 03:42 PM

Smart women do, but they are not the average. Most women do not track or track periodically and skip months at a time making the data irrelevant and wrong
/r/PurplePillDebate29/11/25 03:27 PM
1

Most women don’t track their periods at all. Most women don’t know they have more than one hole down there. Most women are going off instinct and hormones. Now birth control does impact this so that is a big exception but a lot of women don’t like birth control and don’t use it.

Hook ups aren’t necessarily bad, but can be. But what most people learn is that partying is hallow and gets old after a few years…also physically you can’t party hard as you get older, most people get worse hangovers as they age so stop partying as hard or often so stop hooking up.
/r/PurplePillDebate29/11/25 03:14 PM
1

Yes a lot of people are broken. I was that person for a long time. I could open up and trust for the act of sex, but couldn’t be open about my whole self due to extensive childhood trauma. Took a long time to be able to fully trust and let go with a man.
/r/PurplePillDebate29/11/25 02:52 PM

There are definitely women who go on the hunt when ovulating, it’s not all women of course. But Hormones are extremely important to how sexually active most women feel. Even in long term relationships. Men report that they notice this as well, when their partner is ovulating the woman will initiate more often and be overtly sexual, but during other parts of the cycle she’s much less sexual and it requires more effort.
/r/PurplePillDebate29/11/25 02:31 PM

Yes when consequences are small because people assume you haven’t learned. By 30 people expect you to mature
/r/PurplePillDebate29/11/25 02:22 PM

Sure, because everyone is socializing less. Less people are going to bars and flirting with people then hooking up, they are staying at home swiping instead. But those that do still go out, usually do decently well, not saying they get laid regularly but occasionally. Again most men have 4-6 partners and most women have 5-7.
/r/PurplePillDebate29/11/25 01:20 PM
1

Legally single means unmarried. When doing surveys for data if you aren’t married you are single.
/r/PurplePillDebate29/11/25 12:55 PM
3

Ya she was probably partying and having fun, like you are supposed to in college. That’s the time to make mistakes and be a little wild before you get too old to do those things and it ruins your life. I partied in college and had one or two drunk hookups, and I don’t regret a thing but did learn I don’t like hookups. College is the time to be less inhibited and try new things to find out who you actually are and what you like and don’t like.
/r/PurplePillDebate29/11/25 12:53 PM

Yep! My husband had a few flings and had fun, I had a couple flings and had fun. The guys on here act like men aren’t having sex too, but most men have 4-6 partners through life and most women have 5-7…We are both head over heels for each other and have a great relationship.
/r/PurplePillDebate29/11/25 12:51 PM

This is just not understanding how the female body works. When ovulating women are more likely to be horny and have sex, if you ask a woman when she’s ovulating if she would hookup with the hot guy and right then she might say yes because in that moment she would. But if you ask a woman who isn’t ovulating, she will not be as naturally horny and will likely say no, and mean it because in that moment she doesn’t want to fuck him.
/r/PurplePillDebate29/11/25 12:48 PM

Most women are not lying to you. A lot of us are very repressed or have sexual trauma. I grew up in a religious environment and was taught that having any sex at all would make me dirty and that sex is for reproduction only. That any other reason would cause me to burn in hell. I was terrified of sex, even after I denounced the church and was an atheist, every time I thought about sex a deep pit would form in my stomach. It was only when near blackout drunk I could sleep with someone without alm…

This is what both genders do. It’s why generalizing a whole half of the population isn’t a good idea, there’s going to be too much variation. It’s hard to talk about this stuff without generalizations though, but it makes it much less accurate and will cause division
/r/PurplePillDebate29/11/25 12:39 PM

Idk, ask all the guys who say women need to take accountability for everything other women do. If we get collective guilt so do yall
/r/PurplePillDebate29/11/25 12:35 PM

Honestly no. Most of the guys on here seem to only want to complain. Introspect a little but bitch about having to actually do any work to work on their flaws
/r/PurplePillDebate29/11/25 02:58 AM

I mean sure…but dude it’s flowers…that’s so stereotypical and common sense to get your girl flowers. Like your example reads as very strange and not socially aware at all
/r/PurplePillDebate29/11/25 02:57 AM

Ya and it’s on you to work on your feelings.
/r/PurplePillDebate29/11/25 02:55 AM

This can happen in any relationship to either gender. It sucks, but relationships are inherently risky emotionally. It could be amazing or it could wreck your entire life if you choose a wrong partner
/r/PurplePillDebate29/11/25 02:49 AM
5

It takes trust and emotional vulnerability to open up to sexual pleasure for a lot of women. And normally lots of practice with communication even when it’s awkward
/r/PurplePillDebate29/11/25 02:46 AM
5

I always laugh at this because I had a few partners before my husband and my husband is hands down the best lover by far, not even close. I hadn’t ever orgasmed till him. Why do you assume the best sex is with someone else?
/r/PurplePillDebate29/11/25 02:44 AM
7

I mean if she has told you she wants flowers, and you do a bunch of other stuff to show love instead, it shows you aren’t listening or considering her emotional needs
/r/PurplePillDebate29/11/25 02:41 AM
1

It requires active communication between mature partners. That’s lacking
/r/PurplePillDebate28/11/25 11:28 PM

Yes because being able to provide for yourself means freedom. Freedom is everything
/r/PurplePillDebate28/11/25 10:10 PM

Sadly healing has to come from within, a relationship will never be enough to fully heal
/r/PurplePillDebate28/11/25 10:08 PM

As a woman with a kept man and an amazing dream job, it’s heaven. My coffee is made for me every morning, I don’t have to clean too much, I still cook most of our meals because I love to cook but he does the dishes. He’s also the hottest man I’ve ever seen and I adore him
/r/PurplePillDebate28/11/25 10:06 PM
1

And the relationships end up miserable in most cases. Unless he’s providing literally everything and in massive amounts which isn’t the norm at all.
/r/PurplePillDebate28/11/25 10:02 PM
1

I also value this in my husband and I am the primary breadwinner while he works part time. I don’t think it’s nearly the minor of women that you think it is
/r/PurplePillDebate28/11/25 10:01 PM
1

Most animals are not monogamous or even serial monogamous. Are you thinking of mammals specifically? Maybe some bird species? Because most animals are like insects, amphibians, and fish that mate and never see each other again. Heck corals are animals and they just both release gametes into the ocean. You are just misinformed
/r/PurplePillDebate28/11/25 09:27 PM

Sure we all are, and that’s why I work on it every day to make sure I’m addressing my flaws
/r/PurplePillDebate28/11/25 09:23 PM

/r/PurplePillDebate28/11/25 09:04 PM

You are admitting you know it’s bullshit but fall for it anyway. That’s willful ignorance. Dumb as hell
/r/PurplePillDebate28/11/25 09:01 PM

I haven’t asked anyone I dated, my husband and I have a couple toys we use together (vibrators feel good lots of places on both men and women). But I did have a vibrator while single, I maybe used it once a week or every other week. It’s not like most women are going to town all the time with sex toys.
/r/PurplePillDebate28/11/25 04:18 PM
1

How is that any different in reality?
/r/PurplePillDebate28/11/25 01:58 PM

It will limit your options but as it’s more normalized it will stop limiting options. Someone has to brave enough to risk it if yall really want to wear makeup
/r/PurplePillDebate28/11/25 12:29 PM
1

What we do for 40 hours a week is important. What you choose to study for and do for work is a part of who you are. Being a scientist is part of who I am, I’d be pissed if my partner didn’t care about my career.
/r/PurplePillDebate28/11/25 11:50 AM

I’ve dated men that were 5’2 dude.
/r/PurplePillDebate28/11/25 11:38 AM

So it is possible, but not a priority
/r/PurplePillDebate28/11/25 11:29 AM

Eh, nah a lot of us don’t. A lot of us are not turned on visually. I’m more turned on by smell than appearance.
/r/PurplePillDebate28/11/25 11:23 AM

Same, might be nice to look at but doesn’t register beyond that and I will forget 10 seconds later
/r/PurplePillDebate28/11/25 11:21 AM

I just don’t like to and have never had to. I’ve had boys knocking down my door since I was 11, I wouldn’t even think to approach a man because I have always had an extreme amount of good options
/r/PurplePillDebate28/11/25 11:20 AM
5

This is stupid. I’m the main breadwinner for my household. More and more women are primary breadwinners for their families every year. I love my set up, I work my dream job, my husband works part time and takes care of the house (he’s cleaner than I am).
/r/PurplePillDebate28/11/25 11:18 AM
10

Yep! You can’t force someone else to participate in a relationship. You can walk away or choose to stay and take it.
/r/PurplePillDebate28/11/25 11:05 AM
2

Sure you can’t change how people treat you, all you can do is remove yourself from the situation if it’s toxic and walk away. You aren’t going to be able to change the person to be who you want
/r/PurplePillDebate28/11/25 11:03 AM

I mean it’s your life you can live it however you want even if I think it’s retarded
/r/PurplePillDebate27/11/25 12:58 PM

Feels good can be short or long term. Chasing short term hits of “feels good” usually leads to depression in the long run.
/r/PurplePillDebate27/11/25 12:57 PM
2

Relying on outward validation so heavily instead of inward validation is not healthy.
/r/PurplePillDebate27/11/25 12:45 PM

Women get with “undesirable” men all the time. There are plenty of uggos out there dating each other, I see them every day while out and about.
/r/PurplePillDebate27/11/25 12:45 PM
3

If you only get validation from a woman being horny then you have bigger problems to work out in my opinion.
/r/PurplePillDebate27/11/25 12:41 PM
1

If you are undesirable to begin with having a negative personality will hinder you further. But it’s your life
/r/PurplePillDebate27/11/25 12:39 PM
3

The only time I’ve ever felt raw lust was while ovulating and it doesn’t last long.
/r/PurplePillDebate27/11/25 12:36 PM
1

Because you’re ovulating and horny…
/r/PurplePillDebate27/11/25 12:34 PM
2

This is not true. Women are more likely to have sex and be sexual when they are ovulating. If they aren’t ovulating when you meet them they will be less sexually inclined. If you meet a woman while she’s ovulating she’s more likely to jump your bones tonight
/r/PurplePillDebate27/11/25 12:33 PM
4

I literally just use my imagination, I don’t like looking at visuals like porn it grosses me out
/r/PurplePillDebate27/11/25 12:31 PM

I mean some girls do and some girls don’t. Up to you to vet your partners and set your standards.
/r/PurplePillDebate27/11/25 12:28 PM

Idk if I was single and my gay best friend decided he wasn’t actually gay and was straight and into me, I’d entertain it. He’s amazing and not bad looking.
/r/PurplePillDebate27/11/25 12:24 PM
3

Sure many would want a hypothetical man, but not an actual man. Many wouldn’t want to be with any of the men that are available and would rather be single than with men they don’t want to be with.
/r/PurplePillDebate27/11/25 12:22 PM
6

Yep! I grew up hearing I was going to hell for even thinking about sex before marriage. Did a number on me and my world view when it comes to attraction and sex. Then I had to go to 3 different manners classes to learn how to be a lady…and all it was was telling us to be pure and get with a nice man. I was scared to find men attractive for years.
/r/PurplePillDebate27/11/25 12:20 PM
1

I mean yes 100%. You can be nice to your peers, your family, etc but still be an asshole to those outside your group. I worked with a guy, complete asshole at work and made horrible comments but if you ever needed someone to fix a flat tire at 8pm an hour away, he’d drive to help fix it.
/r/PurplePillDebate27/11/25 12:16 PM
18

The implication is that there’s not much the guy can actually do to help his appearance.
/r/PurplePillDebate27/11/25 12:12 PM
1

For me I like a mix of both. I want someone who can be sensitive but also assertive when needed. To be compassionate and confident. I don’t want someone purely masculine
/r/PurplePillDebate27/11/25 12:11 PM
0

Depends on what the goals of dating are. To get laid by as many people as possible? The desirable guy. To find a girl with a nice compatible personality to live with for the rest of your life? The undesirable one with no personality flaws will probably win in that long game.
/r/PurplePillDebate27/11/25 12:09 PM
9

The only man I can remember literally everyone talking shit about was the super creepy guy that called himself wolf man in our college dorm room. Other than that guy most of the time we aren’t even registering most men. They aren’t invisible but neutral. I hope they have happy lives but other than that I don’t think about them at all.
/r/PurplePillDebate27/11/25 12:06 PM
3

Idk I’ve dated men from all over the height spectrum, and short guys do tend to have a chip on their shoulder and quite negative. I don’t think it’s their fault, society is somewhat mean to short men, but also it’s not fun to be around anyone who has a big chip on their shoulder or is negative
/r/PurplePillDebate27/11/25 11:59 AM
9

Ya, they are trying to hurt the self esteem of people like Fuentes because they think Fuentes is a horrible human who deserves pain. And insulting looks causes pain
/r/PurplePillDebate27/11/25 11:56 AM
6

And body shaming of women still happens a lot…it might happen a bit less than back in the day, but it still very much happens. And attacking looks is an easy cheap insult

Studying the natural world is my passion hahaha gotta know about bears
/r/PurplePillDebate27/11/25 03:50 AM

Oh I wouldn’t be surprised if it was a big self admit from my dad. But it took years of therapy to get over all that and view it as not normal
/r/PurplePillDebate27/11/25 02:30 AM
1

I mean the men in my life would compare men to wild beasts pretty much constantly. My dad literally said all men are rapists in waiting and to be careful with any man. He would compare men to savages and wild animals waiting to prey on me. That I was small prey and men were inherently predators.
/r/PurplePillDebate27/11/25 01:57 AM
1

I wouldn’t want to be alone with a grizzly over a man, but I would rather be with a black bear over a random stranger man.
/r/PurplePillDebate27/11/25 01:52 AM

I just read it wrong, but also who thinks dating or marrying someone of legal age that’s Asian is pedophilia? Some people might think it’s weird to go after women a whole lot younger than you but it’s not considered pedophilia.
/r/PurplePillDebate26/11/25 02:04 PM

Yeah man feminist writers were big on tumbler writing about any and everything and most of them were like 18-19 college opinion papers. You can find bad takes from every side. I’ve seen some stuff about how systemically darker skin is the least desired even outside of the US for both genders. Idk if I’d call it white supremacy but I don’t see a problem with pointing it out. And I’ve never heard anyone say liking Eastern European women is akin to pedophilia? Like never…people make fun of mail ord…
/r/PurplePillDebate26/11/25 01:56 PM

At certain ones ya like again countdowns for when teen celebrities turn 18 so minor attraction, actual pedophilia, and bestiality are normally frowned upon and had a lot of mud slung at them, rightfully. But no one really cares about most normal men’s sexuality or preferences at all, a random woman might get mad at you because she’s upset she’s not your type, but those are crazy insecure women…
/r/PurplePillDebate26/11/25 12:21 PM

Nah no it’s not, I can believe you are allowed to do whatever you want but still not like that thing and think it’s bad
/r/PurplePillDebate26/11/25 12:11 PM
5

No? When I was single I put effort into my appearance, flirted with men I liked, proactively texted men I liked, and was very socially active in planning coed events. I was bubbly and outgoing and would initiate conversations with random strangers and meet as many people as possible. I was very much not passive in making sure the situations were right for me to meet someone
/r/PurplePillDebate26/11/25 11:47 AM
1

It really depends on the kind of bear and the kind of man. I’d be safer near a black bear in the woods than with a random man, black bears (other than a mother with cubs) are very scared and run away. Now if it was a grizzly bear? I’d pick the random man any day. But random man is scary, there are a lot of scary men who do bad things, if I could insure that the man would be a good one I’d pick the man either way
/r/PurplePillDebate26/11/25 11:41 AM
5

No one said be in a cage with a bear the premise was being in the woods with one. Also it kind of depends on the bear. I’d rather be with a black bear in the woods (not a mama with cubs) than a random man I don’t know, black bears are more likely to run away than hurt someone. But I’d rather be with a random man I don’t know than a grizzly bear or polar bear.
/r/PurplePillDebate26/11/25 11:34 AM
3

Well, a lot of medium to neutral guys think they are ugly. And again most men fall in this category. But also it’s not “over” ugly guys do sometimes get with someone, it just isn’t as easy
/r/PurplePillDebate25/11/25 05:31 PM

And if a man views his time as more valuable than mine, I don’t want to be with that man.
/r/PurplePillDebate25/11/25 02:45 PM
1

Well, that sounds like depression. I went through that a little in college for a semester or two. I wish you the best, I hope you get out more and live your life when you are able. We only have one
/r/PurplePillDebate25/11/25 01:58 PM
1

So hunky nerd, lots of women are into hunky nerds. Wear some better fitting pants (if you are working out show off that ass! Women love a good ass in nice fitting jeans). Women into hunky nerds are usually going to be a little nerdy too but maybe with different nerdy interests.
/r/PurplePillDebate25/11/25 01:31 PM
4

I mean there’s hair styles, clothing choices that fit your body and an attractive aesthetic. But some women will just not find you attractive no matter what you do. It’s best to find your niche.
/r/PurplePillDebate25/11/25 01:18 PM
2

Eh, again I think there’s some grey area. The drywall guy that runs his own truck with a single helper isn’t considered white collar by almost anyone. Now if he owns a few trucks with a few workers he would be considered white collar, but if it’s just him another guy and a truck most would consider that blue collar even if he owns the business.
/r/PurplePillDebate25/11/25 12:56 PM
1

The only argument that made sense to me (I always offered to split the bill on dates but most men wouldn’t let me) is that you are asking someone who doesn’t know you to go out of their way to spend time with you and now you expect them to spend money too. I kind of get that for cold approaches, not for acquaintances that have mutual interest though
/r/PurplePillDebate25/11/25 12:53 PM
1

Why would someone’s depression make me happy? It’s sad. And frustrating sometimes but it doesn’t make normal people happy
/r/PurplePillDebate25/11/25 12:43 PM
2

If I wanted to just not be alone and find someone, I could do so in a few weeks to a couple months. To find someone I’m actually compatible with and truly connect with? Several months to potentially a couple years.
/r/PurplePillDebate25/11/25 12:38 PM
3

I mean there are lots of one to two man operations where the owner is down in the mud doing the work, but also making a lot more than his helper. I would still consider that blue collar
/r/PurplePillDebate25/11/25 12:34 PM
6

Ya proximity…they see the line cook everyday and flirt…
/r/PurplePillDebate25/11/25 12:13 PM
3

Most blue collar workers who make good money also have business degrees and plan on owning their own company. My husband works in plumbing and most of the guys aren’t even trying to get licensed and will top out at $22 an hour.
/r/PurplePillDebate25/11/25 12:12 PM
4

I don’t mind blue collar work, but a train conductor usually has to travel a lot. I personally wouldn’t want to be with someone who travels for work. It is a very cool job, but ya I would want to be married to someone who comes home every night
/r/PurplePillDebate25/11/25 12:10 PM
1

Right? I don’t think any of my girl friends has said men shouldn’t approach women, but they will say they hate being approached by men who can’t take rejection respectfully
/r/PurplePillDebate25/11/25 12:07 PM
2

I mean I’m a woman and hate chocolate. There are always exceptions
/r/PurplePillDebate25/11/25 12:05 PM

We live in a multicultural society. My cultural norm coming from middle to upper middle class religious Alabama is gonna be very different than someone who grew up with atheist parents in California. Heck within my city there were multiple cultures, the Indian families had traditions and dating rules separate from the rest of the school. There can’t be a rule book in a multicultural free society.
/r/PurplePillDebate25/11/25 12:01 PM
2

That is never going to happen in a free multicultural society. What I am comfortable with (growing up religious in Alabama) is gonna be different than what a girl born and raised atheist in a prosex environment.
/r/PurplePillDebate25/11/25 11:56 AM

I grew up in Alabama. Lots of bubbas who care more about their trucks than what they look like.

I find about 10% of men attractive, most men are neutral, some of those neutral men would be more attractive with different grooming decisions (in my opinion). Where most women have issue with the 80/20 rule is that we don’t all find the same 10-20% of guys attractive. However, I think there are still some guys where they won’t be attractive to the vast majority of women and it will be much harder to find a partner. But most men fall into a middle grey zone where they aren’t attractive or unattr…
/r/PurplePillDebate25/11/25 11:43 AM

This is unrealistic…there are going to be things you are worse and then her ex and things you are better at than her ex. You can’t be the best at everything, no one can. This is a fact of life to be accepted.

You realize you are making men sound like absolute monsters right?
/r/PurplePillDebate25/11/25 07:22 AM

I’m pointing out that women do have hobbies. That OP’s premise is false. Whether men would feel ostracized is beyond the point. But the craft club ladies would love a man to join, they would be tickled. Idk about the yoga, one class has a few men, but none of the other ones I go to, but no one is mean to those men who come to the one class. Baking/cooking classes also wouldn’t mind men joining, they usually try to encourage it.

/r/PurplePillDebate24/11/25 01:45 PM

Not being good enough (I’d phrase it as needing to work on some key personality areas) doesn’t mean a bad person. Lacking in personality can be charisma, humor, eye contact none of which makes someone a bad person, but not a datable person

/r/PurplePillDebate24/11/25 01:10 PM

Because these men call themselves nice. It’s such a common thing that it became a meme. Do you know how many men have yelled at me “I’m a nice guy you bitch!!” When I told them I don’t see them that way. It’s become a meme for women.

I’ve rejected men for both reasons. A hot guy who is immoral in my eyes will get rejected even if I thought he was physically hot. A guy I find physically repulsive is also going to get rejected. It’s not black and white

I’ve had male friends who I straight up told “I will never date you, you can stay my friend if you want but I will never date you” who then went on to get mad I didn’t want to date them. Yall aren’t serious at all

We expect you to read social cues

But you’re lying to them, you are tricking them. This is so beyond gross. What is wrong with you?

That’s bad too, I’m just telling you one of the reasons why women aren’t as openly sexual as men.

Yep! I’ve had men threaten to make revenge porn, call me literally every name in the book, and one threaten to find me and rape me because I wanted to wait a couple weeks and text him before going on a date.

Why do you believe this? Do you have any proof of this? From where I stand it looks like a lot of men are easily manipulated online. It’s a common problem for everyone and it’s coming from the algorithms, phones and apps are designed to keep our attention. Discord and Reddit are also social media

Seems like you just go to male centered hobbies. My yoga class is almost entirely women, the book club at the library is all women, the craft clubs that meet at the coffee shop on weeknight afternoons are all women sometimes one gay guy comes in to join us, cooking classes and baking classes mostly women. Women have lots of hobbies, just might not be hobbies you are into

It’s more that a lot women of women are more reactive sexually than proactive, and that women are taught to repress their sexuality extremely from a young age. It gets drilled in us that sex is immoral and wrong and desiring sex makes you “of the devil” (straight up was told this by my church camp and Sunday school for girls). You also get told that you just existing is triggering for men’s “insatiable urges”. Not everyone has or will unpack all of that.

Yep husband and I waited a month before having sex. We have an amazing sex life now and he’s also the hottest man I’ve ever known…these men on this website have so many rules that make no sense

A cool trendy dessert place and coffee or a fancy kind of tea is also fun and not super expensive. My husband and I went to Starbucks for our first date, I got there early and got my own coffee. He insisted on paying for the second, but I’m the primary bread winner and find almost our entire life…and do so gladly

Bars and parties are still easier places to look for that as well. They are more prosocial places

Partying is where most of the pro-hook up people are going to be. If you are actively avoiding those places of course it will seem like people aren’t doing those things

That’s most cases. I have enthusiastic sex with my husband a lot, but not as much as he would like. He would go 3 times a day everyday. Your parameters make no sense with reality

So you don’t go to parties or the bar, you commute, and you isolate. Yeah, you’re going to have a skewed view. I have siblings at state schools, they go out, have large friend groups, hang out with kids in the dorm from both genders. People still meet S/O in class all the time.

It’s about finding your niche! My husband is super skinny, like can’t gain weight no matter how hard he tries. Lots of girls he asked out didn’t like him but he realized nerdy girls seemed to be into him. He found his niche and ya…a lot of nerdy girls like skinny men…it’s me…I hate muscly or fat men…I want a string bean. But my sisters and friends do not find him attractive.

They are still taught this…it’s culture dependent but my Alabama hometown (city) still very much teaches girls these things. They still have manners classes that the majority of parents middle class and above send their kids to, where girls are taught these things about how to be humble and treat men plus how to do make up and nails and host large cocktail parties.

Both matter? Honestly personality wins in the long run for most normal well adjusted women, but looks do get your foot in the door. Men act like looks are the end all be all which isn’t true, there is nuance and it’s a good mix of both l

I mean most of the men struggling have autism which is a social disorder that heavily impacts personality…a lot of the men struggling don’t have very datable personalities…it’s hard to be with someone with autism, who can’t control their tone of voice or make eye contact, who can’t hang out in social situations without making it awkward. It’s not their fault, but it’s the reality on the ground.
