It’s a slur for men that you don’t like or men who have opinions that you don’t like.

Emotional Intelligence = I want what I want right now, exactly how I want it and I shouldn’t have to speak about what I want like a functional adult.

You could literally ask these women what if the situation were reversed, they wouldn't even be able to compute getting conscripted. These are people who have every advantage in life and still complain as if they're oppressed.

No, I don’t think matriarchs or good women have been ‘de-valued.’ I think women of today have just learned that there are no repercussions for them being terrible people.
/r/MensRights14/05/26 08:15 PM

There are completely different standards and social laws for men than women. The standards that used to apply to women are being shed as misogynistic oppression. In the end, women have absolutely no duty to take responsibility for anything and there is no mechanism that forces them to be accountable. It really is that men are second class citizens in the effective practice of life.

If we were not capable of violence we would be seen as lesser men. They like to criticize both sides basically so they get to be a victim no matter what the situation is.

I’m literally in the business. Of course people aren’t going around ‘mentioning quotas’ openly. I’ve already said this before. Publishing is a very big world. There are many different genres of writing. The romance novel situation is a very specific case. This is probably one of the more market driven genres because it’s falling less and less within the purview of traditional publishing. If you know anything about this genre you would know that the bulk of it is going the way of independent, Ama…

As you should know, publishing is a very big world and there are many different types of writing, which often can be under the purview of the same company. For a nonfiction book on a specialized topic, the identity of the author may not matter. As an example, for any type of contemporary call for fiction, and you can check the releases yourself, right now, the stores as well, they are looking for certain types of identities over others unless you are previously well established, of course. This …

I work in publishing as well, currently, and it is true that there are quotas and preferences for authors of specific identities over others.

I don't know that this is what's being said. People are able to speak on things that are generally true, and people are allowed to see their lived experiences as somewhat valid.
/r/seduction19/11/25 01:11 AM

I understand how it works. The guy is saying something that is generally true and he has a personal anecdote that confirms this. That's how speaking about things in general works and that's how anecdotes work. Everyone knows this.
/r/seduction19/11/25 01:08 AM

Maybe he has used the other method before in the past. I know I have. It doesn't work. He's speaking in general and he uses his own personal experience to confirm that this resonates true to his experience. It's not as if he's saying to do one thing and in his private life doing another. It's not like this is confirmed in his experience so obviously the opposite must be true. While anecdotal evidence isn't the be all end all, you can't say he's proven wrong just because he's not doing something …

Any instance of anything happening in life is what it is. But when speaking in general, you're putting together an average of how things tend to go. It's true in my experience and from what I've seen in other people's experience that a man who prioritizes his woman tends to lose out in every conceivable way in the relationship. It's just true. There's no point in trying to convince you, personally, because you're just going to say what you say. Saying what you think you want is really just that.…

leaning in as in showing consistent interest, talking about our upcoming plans, asking questions, sharing stories, compliments. Initiated everything. Conversations of seeming like we were moving in the same direction / and pace of getting to know one another. This is what men are bare minimum expected to provide women to establish any level of interest in them. Every man has to do this to every woman just to be CONSIDERED by that woman.

It sounds like a completely different situation that's not like the one described in the post. "Leaning in hard literally" what does that mean? In person? Leaning into you? "he apparently went on a date with someone one night." Yea. It sounds like he went with that option. Duh.

I told you 2 times that those men deserve help bit you still say I said we shouldn't help them, that's lying. 'men deserve help' is not where you were at at all. It's isn't lying. It's your position. It's not a lie a because you offer a justification for the fact that 75% of men are homeless. Doesn't matter how much you personally contribute. Doesn't matter how much you say people should help. Why are you lying ? This is strike three. Accusing me of lying. This is another bad faith conversation practice. We all try to have conversations with women online, and this is what always happens. False characterizations, and accusations of things that didn't happen. It's not a lie to point out that society cares very much about helping homeless people when they're women. And no amount of saying that you 'personally' give to the cause of homeless men changes the fact that 75% of the homeless ar…

Cool. So when women are in need, we won't help them. Like let's say they accidentally get pregnant, their responsibility, right? So, that whole "anyone with morals would..." Doesn't apply when it comes to helping men. Got it. Thank you for proving my point. Have a nice day.

But, most of the time, they are responsible of there failure, but we still should help them Again, victim blaming. You proved my point again. This in no way refutes anything I just said, it merely confirms what I said about your position. Truly disgusting.

Women have control over reproduction because they do 99% of the work, it was always like this. No. Women have control over reproduction because that's the law. If the law didn't say it, women would not have control over reproduction. That's what gives it to them. That's how control over reproduction works. Again. This is sounding very similar to things we've already covered. The cell is inside the woman so her opinion is more important, This is a sexist essentialist argument. One could assert au…

And men are more homeless than women for the same reason there is more rich men than rich women, men take more risk, sometimes they Win and sometimes they lose. And also because women are more social, more family/friendship oriented than men. Incorrect. What you say about men taking more risks is correct. What you say about women having better support systems in society is correct. Those are not the reasons why. Even if we pretend that they are the reasons why, it changes nothing of the inequali…

You can't abort because you can't get pregnant, Clearly you don't understand abortion as an issue. The woman's right to choose means that men have absolutely no say in whether or not a birth happens. Women have complete control over reproduction. If the man wants the child to not be born, he does not have a say. If the man wants the child to be born and the woman doesn't, the man doesn't have a say. In either case, the man doesn't have a say. There's no angle here where men in the equation are g…

Yes but specifically women getting to have desicions over voting doesn't match up with war. This connection has already been established and explained. I'll take the 'Yes' as, you understand my point now. It completely matches up because it has to be enforced every day that there is voting in this country. Do you think the moment humans first entered the world men immediately had more power? Gee. I don't know. Who wins in a fight there? Really? But in my opinion I highly doubt that one gender wa…

In what world does men fighting in war correlate to women's [anyone's] voting rights? In our world and exactly in the way I previously described. We don't get to have civilization unless there is sovereignty and enforcement in place. It's really not complicated but it is fundamental to the world we live in. Women never asked for that. Voting wasn't established as a 'basic right' in the beginning of the United States, at all. It used to be in most states you had to be a land-owning taxpayer to vote. The idea was that these are people who are actually invested in the outcome of policy. If you don't have skin in the game, it's possible for people to simply 'troll vote' and ruin the country for everyone. In fact, it could be something that the most powerful use to their advantage because they have the resources to produce propaga…

That's not what I said at all. Before women had the right to vote, women still had power in society. There were actually a lot of women who were against the women's suffrage movement. As it turned out, many women, and many men, actually, decided that women should have more 'political power' in having the vote. Even if these votes go against the interests of their own household. This does not get done without men giving it. We live in a world, like it or not, that is ultimately enforced by men. T…

No. Here’s one difference: men have demonstrated they’re willing to give up their power. More women now vote in U.S. general elections than men do, for every election since the 60s and by an average margin of 10 million voters. When it comes down to it, women will not curb their selfishness or give up their power to help men. They rationalize this through a false narrative that suggests life is overall easier for men. This allows women to see men as less deserving of help. The implication here i…

/r/MensRights16/10/25 06:32 PM

I don’t really have solutions. There’s currently no authority or social mechanism that forces women to be good people to men. The only thing women might bend to is top 1% Billionaire men. Even here it ends once they get the bag. Women are simply rewarded for being terrible people.
/r/MensRights15/10/25 10:05 PM

1) Why does the movement come across as so hostile to women and even men who don't fully agree with you? Women can decide if they feel like something is 'coming across to them' as 'hostile' for any or no reason. They call it hostile because they don't like it, also sometimes for no reason. Most of the time, women have no basis at all to call things names that they've convinced themselves they don't like or don't see themselves 'in alignment' with. They require absolutely no reason at all to beha…

No. It’s a very simple singular point. I said what I came here to say and I stand by it. Nice guys are scapegoated for ‘manipulation’ that doesn’t work (how is it ‘manipulation’ when it doesn’t get results?). Meanwhile the effective operators of women are the ones who find success and the evidence of this is found in womens’ complaints. At the end of the day, the nice guys are at least offering the gesture of sometimes actually very genuine nice treatment. But again, how dare they right? Because…

Women don’t hate genuinely nice men, it’s exactly the opposite. Some of them actually do and there are reasons for that. One of those reasons is what I discussed in my comment. They hate disingenuously nice men who have ulterior motives. All men who are attracted to a woman might have some type of motive with said woman they are attracted to. This motive doesn't get erased by any type of behavior toward said woman. Women, also, clearly do not like men who are genuinely nice if they don't like th…

The most manipulative guys are the assholes who mistreat women and get tons of success. If a nice guy is being ‘manipulative’ through being nice, at least he’s being nice. Women hate genuinely nice men in part because if things go wrong, they won’t be able to win in a reputation destruction contest after the fact.

Yes, the Turks are quasi woke opportunistic critics of whatever they latch onto. Possibly the most left leaning actual political issue they seem to believe in (outside of identity politics) is campaign finance reform, which anywhere else in the civilized first world has already been accomplished or is considered center. They are serving the mainstream by doing this. For all their talk about discussions of masculinity they don’t really care about men. They care about what it does to the Democrati…

but a traditional marriage was not and is not about a gold digger finding a target. No one made a claim attempting to state what marriage 'is about.' Marriage, in the west, in practice, IS effectively as described. This is so in the sense that any woman COULD find a target and have that work for them legally and socially. It's not a controversial thing to say in this day and age. What marriage 'is about' is entirely irrelevant here and is a completely different topic. For example, in Japan... Re…

It's not 'privilege' to be born with this or that anatomy under the presumption that one suffers 'worse' than the somehow. That's a victimhood Olympics narrative that asserts, somehow, men 'owe' women because they're born with vaginas? It's bullshit. When people talk about 'gendered' privilege, it's about societal treatment. Attempting to lean on 'anatomical' difference is not a part of that conversation. We don’t get to do civilization if we don’t have security. Men provide security, men enforce the laws we decide to legislate. Health institutions tend to prioritize women’s health above men’s. How is it happening? You prove to me it’s happening. Women get dates, even if they’re ugly. A lot of guys have no opportunities to date. Okay. It sounds like what you’re saying here is that women are generally seeking guys out, meeting them, getting to know a little bit about them, and then deciding they don’t have enough to offer. That’s not what’s happening.

So, again, and I don’t know why this is a surprise to anyone because it seems pretty obvious but not every man is considered marriage material by women. In fact, there are articles out today in the news saying that women are now complaining that ‘there aren’t enough marriageable men.’ It’s not that they’re not enough men or even attractive men. It’s ’marriageable’ meaning he is an exceptional, typically financial prospect. Men who are poorer tend to be married way less. There’s a stat here that …

No. Picking is a situation where you have more than one option in front of you. But if you approach all of them and the first few say 'no' then you have to move on and keep asking. There's no choice but to keep asking. This area is one of the manifestations that I talked about earlier where women have been allowed to leave behind their 'traditional gender roles' when it is to their advantage at any time and switch it around back and forth, however they want, while men are still expected to be traditional men. There's nothing bad faith about saying what you're bringing to the table is anecdotal. Men have their lived experience denied all the time, especially online. No. He presented a situation where he persuaded a woman. Which is pretty remarkable. So remarkable that he wrote a post about it. He vaguely referred to ‘facts that he dropped.’ I was interested in the kind of factual substance that might resonate with such women and actually work and if not work at least inspire an amount of empathy toward men. Upon further elaboration there were facts, more details about the delivery and the admission that he was likely dealing with an exceptionally reasonable…

Well I think it’s important since you’re presenting a narrative about persuading a woman. I lay tons of facts on the ground and get called a misogynist. It’s like a religion to these people. So I’m wondering how on Earth you were able to get this kind of response.

It’s simply to say that there’s no objectivity to a ‘household standard’ and women can bully men by always claiming authority over the household realm. This allows women to complain about stuff even if it’s just fine. By the word of some women, some things are never clean enough even if they are. This is also not to say that all women do this. It’s not that every woman does this, it’s that any woman can do this if they feel like it and everyone knows it for the destructive bullshit that it is. Y…

The ‘burden’ of household work is just another form of dick swinging that women use to measure themselves against other household keepers and to control men. When men have a lot of money they just hire a fucking maid service. At 550k a year you can order a fucking maid service.

"in terms of gender equality women are in the minority." You have me at this. This may very well be the perception of things. But if we're being honest, what do people even mean by 'minority' anymore? By population there are more women than men in the US by .51 percent (a difference of 3 million people). More women have voted in every US election since 1964 by an average of 10 million more voters. What even is that? I disagree with the premise.

I think mens rights should be acknowledged across the political spectrum. This means it really shouldn’t matter what part of the political spectrum you’re on. I live in the Pacific Northwest in a major city. It’s extremely feminist here. If I were to speak up on any topic related to male suffering, I would be met with hate and called a misogynist. The women in my family are also pretty awful but people very much allow them to be awful.

Where do you see women “flaunting their access to abortion?” What does that even mean? This isn't the main thing I brought to the conversation but it's true that I've seen content like this, if not, why would I fabricate that? TikTok. It's a thing. Men are already on the hook for children financially sometimes even if it’s not their kid, so not sure why you think that would be new, for starters. Secondly, don’t assume my view of abortion. I already admitted that abortion has its place. The scenario concerning an ‘undo’ button is simply to say that it’s something that happens. Women nowadays make jokes about it and flaunt their access to abortion for example. In the end, contraceptives failing is still part of the game. I don’t see how that…

The whole point of this particular thread is entirely around the assertion that women should not have bodily autonomy This person's thesis was that his belief in abortion is oriented around bodily autonomy. False. I know this. But for the scenario we're talking about they had sex. You wouldn't go through artificial insemination for the woman to then change her mind, or maybe she could. Women try to change their minds all the time for any or no reason and if only they could be held accountable for things that not every woman would do but all women can do then maybe they would be treated more like adults. They don't get to consent on their own. They need someone else to sign off on it. If two people both own a property they need to sign off on all legally concerning things related to that property. Doesn't seem like a hard or shocking thing. Why is it just because the child is in the woman's womb does that mean that it's entirely hers? What about his bodily autonomy?
/r/MensRights04/06/24 12:47 AM
1

I don't believe that requiring a woman to get consent of the father to abort (when possible, except for a medical condition, some other extreme circumstance) compromises bodily autonomy. It was her choice to have sex in the first place, without contraceptive, no attempt to morning after.
/r/MensRights04/06/24 12:32 AM
1

See, I think I disagree. The woman deserves the right to bodily autonomy, first and foremost. She gets to decide what happens to her body, regardless of what you or anyone else wants. It's that power that comes with responsibility, however. She is the one who has to carry the child. To rephrase, both have the right to walk away and abdicate responsibility. No one is forced to do something with their body that they dont want to. \^ This was his original comment.
/r/MensRights04/06/24 12:28 AM

bodily autonomy People have bodily autonomy. You can choose to have sex with whoever and however or not. Once you're pregnant, that's on you. It is exactly the opposite of what you are claiming. It's really not. The only parties in the room that have limited responsibility in life per your own example is children and women. So which is it?

He was not talking about someone who had sex at all. Strawman. When you get pregnant you must have had sex. You are responsible for your sexual choices and actions and should be held responsible for your sexual choices and actions the same as everyone else. If you can't accept responsibility for your sexual choices and actions then you probably aren't responsible enough to have sex in the first place. These adults are pregnant from having sex, therefore they should be held responsible for that. …

Friend, that's because they're children. You're talking about a person who is 'adult' enough to consent to sex and choose to do so without contraception, and then choose no morning pill, gets pregnant and then wants to click the 'undo' button. If they're not children, then this is a person who isn't mature and responsible enough to engage in sexual activities. If we are to play the 'woman' card in this situation, letting them off the hook according to their whims, we're effectively treating them…

The woman deserves the right to bodily autonomy, She has the right to not have sex if she doesn't want to. She has the right to seek birth control or not. She has the right to the morning after pill. If only women gave us a fraction of the amount of grace we give them. If it's rape or there's a medical thing, fine, I agree. But in the end, it's not as if women are guaranteed always going to abort a child that a man wants to keep, it's that she can.

I mean, women fall for liars all the time. What works is what works. And just because a guy is a tactical liar doesn’t mean he’s inherently an RP devotee. I don’t see how it’s a stretch to imagine that men who expect substantial things from women out of self-respect would possibly be interpreted as RP by women for doing so. It was just a talking point and not really the meat of the post which is the question.

By looking at their behaviors Clearly. The reason we've gotten so deep into this discussion is that it's not always so simple to know for sure which behaviors are truly proof of RP and the degree to which those things become unacceptable to women. If they behave a certain way, Right. So, describe that in detail. That's the point of the post. then a person may find those behaviors undesirable and thus not date them. Again. That's the point of the post.

Hence i don't consider myself a feminist so i don't accidentally get bundled up with misandrists. That's really cool. It makes me unreasonably happy to hear this. You, on the other hand, keep the RP label. I don't believe in labels. I also think that what a lot of people are saying RP is, really isn't RP. It would be similar to if I were to say - this misandry stuff and this non-sense, that's not what feminism is. I think that 'feminism' now means so many different things to different people tha…

My very first question to you was what you were defining as "bad RP men." No. I just said RP = bad man, per the narrative. We aren't comparing. You asked what the rules were, and I've listed some of them. The whole premise was that it's comparative. You ended up saying 'men have rules too,' yea I guess, but certainly not in the same way at the same level, nearly. And then I explained why. I've listed rules that men might use in dating. Do you disagree with my examples? I picked apart many of them and wrote quite bit on how men are less in a position to even have rules let alone keep to them. What's a practical diffe…

I'm not criticizing or giving judgment to these rules. But again, comparatively we just discussed the difference between rules as it pertains to men and women. Some men are desperate. Just as some women. Yes, and across the board desperate women are more in a position to make rules and apply them in comparison to desperate men. It doesn't mean that men overall can't or don't have rules or preferences. It's simply that 'rules' is a primarily a thing that women do and get to do for reasons we've a…

It doesn't stop men to put hard rules. What hard rules? Where? How? Men choose who they approach, so they can put the rules on it at least. Men cast a wide net because they receive a large amount of rejection. That's obvious. In dating there are few things that are "fool-proof". Then maybe people should stop acting as if they know everything. Just as you can't be sure that you'll never get into abusive relationships or that you'll never get divorced. Some women insist that they can tell based on…

Both men and women do that and it's fine as long as it works for them. Not to the same degree. Women are the selectors. Pretty basic concept in dating. Sure, there's no fool-proof way. Dating is highly contextual. I know that. This does not stop women from setting hard line boundaries and rules to follow regardless of context in some cases. I agree that living life according to generalized thinking is not without problem. This doesn't stop women from acting according to what they think their red flags are in the dating process though. Hence the question. Yes. Some people are fucked up due to their own preferences. Why are men not allowed to say this? Dating-wise TRP concentrates on "spinning plates" This is not necessarily true. I think some of this is simply to say that, since it's easy for women to get interest and acquire dates, then men should be advised to keep their options open until happy, committed dating actually happens. Because as much as women criticize men for 'spinning plates,' many women do that themselves in the background and if they're not literally spinning plates as in dating, they often will have a roster of interested …

I don't think that a man who is in TRP is inherently a bad person. The context is dating. And many women try to avoid dating RP men. Maybe it's not a value judgement on them as people so much but it certainly would disqualify them as dating material - hence the use of the word 'bad' in the context of dating (to date). if it wasn't "acceptable" (to some) for women to be less go-getting. There must be something specific to your area or social circle because I don't really see it being like that. Even if it's your dream job it's still work. A lot of times people find jobs in their passion and the job part ruins the passion for them. It sounds all fun and games like it might be motivating, because you're not forced to so you won't really know that feeling. I would 1000% trade places with my female counterpart. I …

You lost me at ‘men don’t have trouble dating.’ Your brothers might be doing fine, but, again, that’s not all or the majority of men. Kind of hard to believe that you make that mistake. As for your hard time dating, how would it be easier if you were a man? Just make it make sense.

Well I feel like I would be above average man, even If you count out face. Height, money, good talker. Yea. Like you could also 'feel' like you're really a giraffe. Doesn't make it so in reality. But for building a family in the future I would want me to work and him to not work, so one person would take care of the house. Also I love my job. Why is it that you have to be the one who works and could you truly provide for the whole family?

I'd be 5'5" and I'm sure I'd make it work. You wouldn't have a choice, you'd be 5'5". The question is not could you persevere, the question is - would dating be easier or harder than it is now? It's just dating was effortless for me as a woman and I'd probably have to put some thought into it as a man. It would probably be a lot harder, no? On the bright side, as a man, society would have higher expectations for me career-wise, How is this the bright side? Not every man finds career success. Wha…

According to my bf, men tend to approach less attractive women because they have more of a chance of getting their numbers. That could explain why you saw unattractive women get approached. The point being, they still got approached. That was. The point. Sounds like you changed your mind and we agree on this now. I said I’d succeed as a man because I’d have good looks + put in effort. What you're saying about your family might be genetically true but I'm not going to expect most people to believe that if you were born a man then you'd be over 6 feet tall. It's just too much to ask other people to believe despite the fact that it might very well be true. If you're 4'11, I'll give you 5 or 6 inches. What is your opinion about men who are 5'5…

I think we can agree to disagree that when men put effort, dating isn’t rocket science for them. I'm not saying it's rocket science. It certainly involves more than dating as a woman. The reality is not that it's rocket science, it involves more, has more challenges, and if you get it right, it works if you're attractive. If you get it wrong, it still might work if you're super attractive. That being said, you could do everything right and still face an enormous amount of rejection, and this exp…

Women are selective. It’s inevitable that most men are going to be rejected. Literally what I've been trying to talk you about for hours. What about the millions of regular men that are in happy long term relationships? Doesn't mean dating was easy for any of them. It's a really simple concept. A man may end up with a woman, but that doesn't mean that his dating experience up to that point wasn't a lifetime of getting ignored and shit on by women. I hear what you're saying but the 'just don't tell him' strategy is deception that women wouldn't stand for if it happened to them. What if we told men - 'cheat but just don't tell her.' Rules for thee not for me. Aside from that there are other indicators. People are going to know. Really the only issue that guys have is if he's made to wait for sex while some other guy didn't have to wait. I think it makes sense that guys would feel that way. It typically doesn't happen to men as much or at all. Most men won't have that experience in their lives. Just because your boyfriend is a certain way means just that. Your only point of comparison is successful men which is why you think it would be easy, the problem with that line of thinking is that very few men get that kind of treatment. I don't see women saying this much here. Women are saying it right now on this post. Ik i would with my genetics and personality. I would probs go to the gym as well to stay in shape just as i do as a woman. That's quite an assumption. Unless you are a top percent man as a total package you won't get anywhere near the ease of dating that women have. This is not a question about your brothers. And just because your brothers had success also doesn't mean that dating is easier or just as easy as it is for you as a woman. I've probably said some variation of this about 30 times at this point. Everyone is like - I have a brother and he's done fine. That doesn't mean at all that dating for you would be just as easy as it is for you as it is right now as a woman. I think if I were a man I’d have an above average time dating. Based on what? You can…

You understand that she knows who her brother is right? You understand that she's not her brother, right? You understand she knows her brother’s personality and how closely it mirrors her own right? You understand that I never attempted to deny that she knows some things about her brother, right? You understand that she can actually see her brother and see how closely her looks and his match right? You understand the question is about her attributes and not his right? It's pretty simple.

2

That's not what that says at all.
/r/PurplePillDebate28/05/24 05:08 PM

Why not? If I have similar genetics and upbringing, why would I assume very different outcomes? You were born and raised to be yourself and not them? It's pretty simple. You don’t think she would be more popular if she had been born male? The question is would dating be easier or harder.
/r/PurplePillDebate28/05/24 05:06 PM

What the fuck is your purpose in asking the question and all your follow up questions if you don't want people to actually answer? Nowhere did I indicate that I don't want you to answer. I'm allowed to respond to your answers. Not sure what your problem is. The notion that dating is generally harder for men on the whole is merely something that a lot of women on this sub right now are actually saying. I'm not a giant argumentative arsehole This conversation might suggest otherwise.

That’s kind of thing though isn’t it. Men, like you said you would, adapt however they can and yet the consensus is still even according to women on this sub right now that dating as a whole is generally harder for men. You think that there’s guys who DON’T try to figure it out? Every guy tries to figure it out and yet many guys still fail.
/r/PurplePillDebate28/05/24 01:53 PM

The title is at the top in bold, so how is that hard to understand? You can think what you want that doesn’t mean anyone would agree with you. No different than obese women claiming that they’re 10’s. Yea, they can say it, doesn’t mean it’s true. You can’t say that height is meaningless though. This or that anecdote of a guy doesn’t resolve the obvious cross-cultural, global preference that women have for mens height. All that’s needed is to imagine yourself as a man. That sounds sad but it might sound worse than it actually is. I know women in that situation and they make the whole thing about them. I think that men are more needed in the task of raising men. You can’t just imagine yourself as if you’re a guy that you know. You’re not your boyfriend. And you wouldn’t be your boyfriend if you were the male equivalent of yourself, you’d still be you, not him.
/r/PurplePillDebate28/05/24 01:20 PM
2

Again, that is a claim that has nothing to do with your charts and it has already been explained why that is so.
/r/PurplePillDebate28/05/24 01:18 PM

There’s no need to compare yourself to an entirely different human being, you say what you are not what your brother is. You aren’t your brother, pretty simple concept. Yes, in life, avoiding abuse is impossible. If your metric for ease in dating is entirely oriented around avoiding abuse, I don’t know if you’d be so sure. Both of your examples involve hitting btw.
/r/PurplePillDebate28/05/24 01:14 PM

Humor and charm as a woman is one thing, you’d have to be attractive to women. Have you ever done that? Do you really know what you’d be signing up for?
/r/PurplePillDebate28/05/24 01:06 PM
2

Yes, data that is far disentangled from your claims.
/r/PurplePillDebate28/05/24 01:03 PM

You’re posting charts and claiming that they mean things that they don’t. That’s not ‘facts.’
/r/PurplePillDebate28/05/24 12:57 PM
3

You have to be more than just attractive. Lots of guys are just attractive. You will find though that top percent level guys happen to most often be attractive. Once you’re attractive you can play the game but you have to have something going for you and you have to get them to like you. How are you going to do that? As a woman you can just show up and exist. That doesn’t work for men. Your lack of understanding here speaks for itself. You would probably have a much harder time dating as a man.
/r/PurplePillDebate28/05/24 12:55 PM
1

That’s also an assumption that doesn’t make any sense. By your logic we could just as easily say the same thing about women when referencing the preferred height chart. Look, I don’t know what more I can do other than write the question I want answered. If you really just read the comments you would find that I’ve redirected everyone back to the actual question so which is it? /r/PurplePillDebate28/05/24 12:26 PM

/r/PurplePillDebate28/05/24 12:21 PM

A closer hypothetical, since you mention it, is actually simply considering who they are not who their brother is. You understand that a person’s brother is a different human being right?
/r/PurplePillDebate28/05/24 12:21 PM

No. Some are literally not answering the question. You can read and like everyone else, see it for yourself.
/r/PurplePillDebate28/05/24 12:18 PM

You’re only the 1,000th woman to do exactly what you did. It’s almost as if it’s a pattern. Why do you think it would be the same? Just make it easy - Age, attractiveness out of 10, Height, job, salary, hobbies or anything else that makes you remarkable.
/r/PurplePillDebate28/05/24 12:06 PM

Yes. Some women aren’t answering the question that is asked to them. It might seem like I’m arguing. Just because I ask a question in the post doesn’t mean I’m not allowed to question their responses.

I mean, explain it. How do you ‘make a girl vibe with you’? Like, what if you didn’t want to vibe?
/r/PurplePillDebate28/05/24 09:24 AM

It might not be though, “champ.” As in it’s possible. You’re right to point out that it’s not a big ask and I wasn’t speaking of every woman I meet. At my age, they have to be the right age, single, available as well. I wouldn’t even say there are zero non-batshit insane women out there, it’s simply to say that it’s all I ask for and it’s been hard to find. I think it would be even harder if I hardline stuck to ‘agreeable.’ Agreeable is asking for a lot.
/r/PurplePillDebate28/05/24 07:27 AM

I don’t know. Good strategy. Get the girl to ‘vibe with you.’ Got it.
/r/PurplePillDebate28/05/24 07:03 AM

I just don’t think 22 year old law student guys are at the height of their desirability compared to 22 year old women. You can just say ‘slay’ this ‘slay’ that, it doesn’t make it so. There’s tons of kids out there like that.
/r/PurplePillDebate28/05/24 06:37 AM

I'm not sure what your paragraph has to do with my comment. Which paragraph. There's more than one. My husband and I are "looksmatched" and have similar background This alone doesn't mean anything that would suggest that your experience dating as a man would be similar in any way. Age, Height, Attractiveness out of ten, Personality, Job, Income, Hobbies. You have those things, now how would that play in the dating market as a man? ^ I asked these things to make it easier for you.
/r/PurplePillDebate28/05/24 03:32 AM

Again, the question is easier or harder.
/r/PurplePillDebate28/05/24 03:29 AM

It’s like I said earlier, sometimes guys are wrong in describing someone’s behavior as ‘bitchy,’ sometimes they might actually be right. I said many times, women, as in one or many because it’s something that happens here any time the subject comes up. Again, see first paragraph. Also I know what I said and I can say whatever want.
/r/PurplePillDebate28/05/24 03:05 AM

I came here to say what I said in the beginning and I stand by it. Other people made the choice to focus on what they imagine about my personal life. I did not come here to debate facts about my life with people who don’t know anything about me.
/r/PurplePillDebate28/05/24 02:58 AM

Sometimes it’s not like that though. Are you generalizing all men now?

It’s clear.

Have you considered for one second that it's how other people have described me and used the words assertive and confident? You're the one who said 'like a bitch.' If you have an issue because other people think that's how you come across then that's all anyone needs to know. Those men are usually not NT in some way and that will destroy your chances. Doesn't mean none of them struggle with dating regardless. It's the same for women if you're honest about the topic. If you're honest it really is…

You're the one who brought your personal life into the conversation, and your reasons given for why you're not responsible for your relationship woes are not entirely compelling, as being good with interacting with people in some contexts doesn't mean you're a good romantic partner. In addition to the first thing which is I don't introduce problems into my relationships. The latter evidence is simply to show a wider view. Maybe you did and you're lacking in self awareness Yes. I've heard of a thing where Asian men have it harder. I can't speak to that experience. Assertive and confident gets you called a bitch as a woman. Have you ever considered that what you see as 'assertive' and 'confident' might come across to other people as actually, for real, bitchy? It's not about what you think you are, it's about how you come across to other people and this a very fundamental part of communication in life. I personally don't like men or women who are 'confident' or describe…

It's sufficient to say that I'm good with people and relationships. It's also sufficient to say the part that you left out which is very important, and that was - I was not the party that introduced problems into my previous relationships. Which is important. Saying the one thing without the other, says a lot. You seem to be putting me in a position where you're trying to ask me to 'prove' that I'm not the problem in all my relationships, under the assumption that I AM the problem in all my past…

I don't know if that guarantees that you'd be 6'4" exactly but you'd be probably tall and it would make you a catch as a man. Height is important and we can all admit it. Many times in these conversations women attempt to disavow or skirt their preference for height. But you'd be tall and under that measurement you would presume that it would be desirable, which I think it would be. Again, since this isn't a question about your brother's characteristics or your brother's success in dating. All t…
/r/PurplePillDebate28/05/24 12:54 AM

So why would you think you would be just like your brother? That's the whole point. Are you as tall as him? Do you possess his same unique male attractiveness? There's too much missing information here. Just make it make sense.
/r/PurplePillDebate28/05/24 12:19 AM

Would the Male Heterosexual equivalent of yourself have an easier time or harder time in dating? We don't even have evidence to show that your brother is your male equivalent in the first place. Also, he could have success, that doesn't mean that dating is easier. A guy could have a lot of success in dating on account of really hard work.
/r/PurplePillDebate28/05/24 12:10 AM

Well, you're right in pointing out that no one cares about your job. All the other shit, you're still wrong about. When you compare average men to average women, it's not even close, even when men have good jobs.
/r/PurplePillDebate28/05/24 12:08 AM

No, you didn't get my point. If I was a man, I'd have easier time looking for a woman with compatible views and values than vice versa. No. You didn't get MY point. You'd be a man. That would not be what you want once you're a man. I'm a man and I'm just about as liberal as it could possibly get. It is unpleasant to date extremely feminist women. I have considered that. If that were the case I’d be the person causing issues in relationships not the other way around. It’s simply to say that responding with ‘it happens a lot’ can be evaluated many different ways in many different contexts. I only answered how I felt about that in THIS specific context which is what I said from the start. Because that’s the context we’re in. Context is important. And the way that you get context is by reading the other comments on your own like I’ve already told you about 39 times. Talking about ‘implicit bias’ in this scenario reduces the context to a blank slate. It’s not a blank slate. We live in a society. This sub is a very specific place. I'm closer to the "foreign women" party, What does that mean? And like I said you're free to date whoever you want and always will be. No one is holding a gun to your head. Date or don't. Date foreign or domestic, date long distance or the guy next door. The choice is yours, and no one gives a shit. If other people want to date that's their business too, not yours. They don't care if you approve or not and nor should they.

Foreign women, 'the receiving party' are free to date whoever they want. And if they're concerned, they don't have to date whoever they don't want to. It's not like men are traveling and holding a gun to their heads forcing them to go on a date. It's more like men are traveling and meeting women who like them, find them desirable and actually treat them with respect. It's like a whole different universe.

Many women would likely agree with this. There’s a difference between generalizing all and speaking in general per generalization.

I can admit that I don’t know everything. I know that you didn’t answer the question earnestly. Based on what you’ve written it looks like you haven’t expressed what I would call a point. You might be holding an unexpressed point in reserve for some weird reason. Rather than pursuing on actual point and communicating that you have a point, you’ve instead focused on me and the level of confidence I have in that assessment. It only builds more confidence that you don’t really have a point and if y…

Your leading response to the post was facetious and no one mentioned sex except you. Pretty non-sequitur. I don't think men should be given a free pass on this topic exactly. I don't think this is what I'm saying. I will say that we often already hear that women want men to communicate 'more' or 'better.' (There's a side of this where if women are really being honest, many of them don't choose guys who are good at communicating or don't choose guys for that reason, it becomes an issue later when it's time to make one. There's also the meme of women losing attraction for men who give them what they w…

Yes. Men never pay for sex in one way or another. That's why free is the expectation. Free sex is everywhere. How dare men desire to be sexually satisfied in a relationship. Sex should revolve completely around the whims of women at all times. Anything less than that is misogyny. And as for autonomy, you know it's misogyny and toxic masculinity when men have wrong opinions and do things that women don't want them to do. It's also misogyny if a man asks anything of a woman that differs from what …

I literally gave you an example in the last comment. The prophecy says that Macbeth will be king and this creates a plausible idea that doing anything to make him king is perhaps correct according to the powers that be in some sense. I think that Lady Macbeth is ambitious to a fault and not the greatest lady to her man for being so forceful. I think she's bad, but in the end there is a sense of tragedy, and you can't really have tragedy work for a character that's just pure evil. No one feels so…

I've read Shakespeare and performed it. Macbeth is bit more complex than what you describe. And there are female characters far more evil and grotesque than Lady Macbeth, obviously what she does is wrong. Though ambitious and willing to propose and assist with murder, she's also a victim in the end to some of the same evils and she appears to show a level of remorse. That's not really all that evil in a pure sense. I would also not reduce Macbeth to merely a simp. You can't forget that there's a…

I don't know that my post or film recommendation is about that. If you want to see an older film about the dangers that can happen to a man being victimized by a woman in a relationship, I recommend that and it's a far better one and honestly a far better rendering of a female antagonist. In Fatal Attraction the woman is certifiably insane and presented more at a demonic level. It's just not interesting and rather horror film grotesque. You say this: I’m aware of what communication is about. But then you said this: There’s things that I don’t think need to be said because it seems obvious to me, but if I don’t say it, my partner won’t pick up on it Part of communication is making sure you know other people are getting what they need whether that's obvious to you or not. I won’t say that women communicate badly - just very differently than men Communication is about being understood. It's also about making sure people know what they need to know. Or sometimes during an argument with him, I’ll try to deescalate by making dumb jokes about the argument for instance, but for whatever reason, I’ve never had a male partner pick up on that - as if jokes about the argument = jokes on his understanding/intelligence (which gets interpreted as a personal offense, I guess).…

The same things as in men. Yea. I don't know that the most commonly recognized worst things about men and women in dating are the same things. Women are exhausting. Can't help but agree. "if you are not perfect - you are worthless" The nitpicky neurotic perfectionism is ironically what's making them imperfect. Perhaps if they just chill the fuck out they wouldn't be so exhausting and they actually be closer to 'perfect' and if not perfect they might just allow themselves to live a happy life somehow. Some women date out of boredom, for entertainment, a quick dopamine/ego boost, to fill their social calendar, because we're socialized to partner, etc. But they don't put forth effort because there's no goal attached to the dating. Again. If they had no need then they wouldn't be dating.

I don’t think you need a relationship to be happy and fulfilled I never said that you do absolutely, in every case, require a relationship to be happy and fulfilled. /r/PurplePillDebate13/05/24 01:54 AM

I'm only responding based on what you said about the issue being that "Women don’t need a relationship to feel fulfilled in life." Thank you for agreeing that you don't actually believe this is true.

I’m explaining a phenomenon why women tend to be unmotivated in the dating scene. I understand what you're trying to say. I just find your explanation dubious. If it's true that 'women don't need relationships to be fulfilled in life' then we'd likely see a lot of perfectly date-able women straight up not dating at all, in which case those are not the kind of women I'm talking about anyway. Women don’t need a relationship to feel fulfilled in life Well, then they're not dating. The question starts with "When it comes to dating..."
/r/PurplePillDebate13/05/24 01:26 AM
6

Why bother with something so time consuming and expensive when you barely know each other? My question exactly. I think some of these women have an idea, with 'foodie call' dates, that they really want to maximize extracting anything out of a man that they're able to. Some of them really see it as an opportunity to get something for free, especially if they don't even like the guy - they still got something for free. This is actually how a lot of women think nowadays. It's messed up and sad.

If we talk about the minority of batshit crazy psychopathic women We can talk about that if that's what people really want to do. But, again, this post (and I'd probably say the spirit of most posts on here that are simply trying to spark a fruitful conversation about dating in general based on how dating generally is in general) is about, in general, for the most part, commonly what you're going to run into with dating and dating women, trying to figure out what is, on the whole, the worst part…

Okay. So, again. When it comes to dating, what then is the worst thing about women?
/r/PurplePillDebate12/05/24 11:47 PM

You basically just said that the worst part about women in dating is that there's a trend of a certain behavior. You've not quite linked that to women themselves choosing to do a thing or doing a thing by virtue of the fact that they are women in dating. Or are you saying that?
/r/PurplePillDebate12/05/24 11:42 PM

'Fashionable' is another way of saying it's a trend. It's not about clothing. Fashionable - "characteristic of, influenced by, or representing a current popular trend or style." Something can be 'fashionable' and have nothing to do with clothes. I don't really think of qualities or characteristics based on gender. Humans have qualities and characteristics. But that's really what the question is asking though. What is the worst part about women when it comes to dating them as opposed to men and d…

That's not really what the question is about though.
/r/PurplePillDebate12/05/24 11:35 PM

I don't know if I agree with that as the worst thing. But I think there might be something to be said for the fact that, as a woman, you don't really have to accomplish much for yourself in life in order to be date-able and find people who will date you and go on dates. Maybe that is an issue - that women take a lot of things for granted.
/r/PurplePillDebate12/05/24 11:27 PM
7

Yea. So. When we're having a conversation about things in generalities we're trying to discuss things that are more common than not. Are you suggesting that you really believe 'the worst thing about women in dating as a whole' is that they're murderers? Sure. The worst thing that could possibly happen is you date a woman who murders you, I guess? It's not really a common issue but it has happened. I'd say it's pretty rare. I don't think that the biggest, most common problematic characteristic of…

/r/PurplePillDebate12/05/24 11:04 PM

I’m trying to ask about a quality or characteristic. If it’s just a ‘trend’ are you saying that women are doing this kind of thing for the most part because it’s fashionable to do so?

This is what he said: "Sorry, are you saying that, to women, there's no difference between Chris Hemsworth being chill and laid back and a Chris Hemsworth who flies into a tearful rage anytime things don't go his way? You believe there is no difference to women? They find them equally attractive?"
/r/PurplePillDebate10/05/24 05:25 AM

Again. It's not a struggle at all when your only choice is one Chris Hemsworth to another. We know the answer but unfortunately that has no bearing on what the other guy actually said. Also, we don't live in a world where every man is Chris Hemsworth. The fact you think your hypothetical question actually helps your point is beyond absurd.
/r/PurplePillDebate10/05/24 05:21 AM

Yes. Nevermind the fact that he said - "Looks, status and charisma each play a bigger role" This is not saying that any type of emotional preference has ZERO role. DUH. And you merely confirm that looks and status come first because your hypothetical question revolves entirely around Chris Hemsworth as that starting point (coming first). LOL. Just say you agree with him because that's what you're doing.

How many references to Chris Hemsworth does it take for you to understand that your use of Chris Hemsworth as the 'default' reference point actually affirms what the other commenter was saying about looks and status coming first?
/r/PurplePillDebate10/05/24 05:03 AM
1

Yes. When your only reference is Chris Hemsworth, someone is certainly bound to pick some type of Chris Hemsworth. You sure showed him. You make his point for him "Looks, status.." comes first. The Chris Hemsworth part comes first even in your own scenario. How does that prove anything that someone would obviously pick one Chris Hemsworth over another? No shit.

You must be a troll. There's no other way, you havent made a single point, you asked an open question , didnt like the answer and then this wall og angry words There's not one place here where you ask what my point was. There's, in fact, no questions at all. You are liar. Have a nice day.

You made the assumption that I was talking about looks. And then you woman-splained to me on how 'looks aren't everything to women'. I KNOW that. Whatever it is that led to a date was obviously something that you were attracted to enough to go on a date with them. LOL. It's really that simple. When you assume wrongly, it makes YOU look like you're bad faith strawmanning the conversation. I said nothing about looks per se. YOU did. Now you're taking the conversation off topic which ALSO looks pre…

Where did I say 'looks'. LOL. I never said that. Obviously you considered something about them attractive enough to go on DATES with. LOL. Come on.

I don't think you understand what I'm saying at all. You were still initially attracted to those guys you went on dates with, no?
/r/PurplePillDebate05/05/24 01:07 AM

It’s funny how so many women are claiming that they’re now avoiding RP men once they realize RP isms and actions in those men over time. The question is, how are they still ending up on dates with all these RP guys in the first place? They don’t sound like they’re very good at filtering them out and they’re at least going on dates with them. Lol.
/r/PurplePillDebate04/05/24 11:15 PM

How do you end up dating such men in the first place? Lol.
/r/PurplePillDebate04/05/24 11:05 PM

That’s what I just said numerous times. My point was I have been willing to show all of my details to people and let them decide.
/r/PurplePillDebate04/05/24 10:35 PM

Like I just said in my previous comment it appears to be pretty standard to consider a variety and combination of factors when evaluating men today. That’s why sharing details of the whole package is important.
/r/PurplePillDebate04/05/24 10:30 PM
1

Probably means a lot of things to a lot of different people when measuring men on the whole. That’s why there are many details to show.
/r/PurplePillDebate04/05/24 10:08 PM
1

I have time and again been happy to show people my details. Even above average men struggle.
/r/PurplePillDebate04/05/24 10:06 PM

I think though when you try to bring these complaints into a discussion, you don’t win the crowd over. You actually probably get mostly denial and resistance.
/r/PurplePillDebate03/05/24 04:02 PM

I’m not exactly invalidating circumcision as a legitimate answer though it does beg the question of - why is this practically the only legitimate answer this post was able to come up with and have support behind it? It’s also simply to say that it’s more likely to find sympathy among women because it’s a situation where children are being victimized. It’s not something ‘made up’ that women tend to categorize between ‘threats’ and ‘persons who need to be protected’. It’s a notion that other peopl…

/r/PurplePillDebate03/05/24 12:48 AM

I don't think that is the correct answer. That's why I said what I said how I said it. Should poverty exist in the first place? No. But it does.
/r/PurplePillDebate03/05/24 12:36 AM
-6

You know who deserves to be lifted out of poverty? A woman who is simply just nice. You know who doesn't deserve to divorce r*pe men? An entitled western feminist Karen. What is wrong with dating women who are through no fault of their own born into lower socio-economic standing? How is finding love with or considering dating such people 'wrong'? You're saying we should not date them because they're poor? That might be how western women think and that's exactly the problem in the first place.

The post is a question. The question is very specific in what it asks. Your response is not an answer that qualifies. All that’s needed is to read the post. It’s really not hard.

Then you don't understand. The 'male specific' means male specific. How those complaints are received by a general population public forum is also a qualifier. Why does anything exist? Why were you with him in the first place if he is so awful? Our kids? What? You had kids with this guy? Content in the context "how people react to a man talking about his gf leaving him when he was grieving" I have seen this post before. That's kind of why I drew it up like that. And to further buckle down that specific detail, the phenomenon of women losing attraction or getting the 'ick' from men crying is widely discussed. It's a thing. “guys make 3 friends when they’re 15 and decide that’s enough socialising for a lifetime” I think this is a cruel take when you think about it. Yes. Men will keep that same friend group that they formed early on. Sometimes it's not really a choice. Sometimes it's the problem you all were just speaking about. Since you're lecturing me on my post you should at least know that I'm looking for specific complaints and not niche spaces. I'm sure one could go to an addiction group and receive sympathy for being an addict, whereas the general population would view that person as a degenerate addict.
/r/PurplePillDebate28/04/24 07:48 PM

I said public discourse, a public forum. That could be a lot of things. Private becomes public all the time with these issues. Personal anecdotes are a part of these discussions. You’re really reaching. On the whole you’re gonna get much less victim blaming comments to the woman who was raped unless it’s a highly sus sounding ‘r@pe’ claim. False claims are a thing. I have the Reeves book. There’s not widespread change or understanding of these facts yet. It certainly hasn’t worked its way to the point where men receive sympathy for being purposefully held back.
/r/PurplePillDebate28/04/24 06:22 PM

I’ve experienced that as well. There are some boomer parents who are so narcissistic that they would actually feel better about themselves if their children failed. Which is pretty much the opposite of what parenting is about.

Like I said, I don't even know what I would prefer and I would have no way of testing it out. The TMI facts are, I was circumcised. I see how it's messed up. I happen to like how it looks. I thought I was clear enough in the post. Sure, you're bound to get any kind of response to anything, really. It is yet another exercise that's about speaking generally, as with most of these kinds of conversations. One commenter put forth the claim that 'men and women get about similar levels and degrees of sympathy and shame.' If we're using this as a starting point, I just don't think it's true. Using her examples I explained why, you can find it on here.

So again, acknowledging that men are falling behind from a statistical point of view and acknowledging that it’s a problem is not the same as a man voicing a complaint about his lack of opportunities and being firstly believed and secondly met with sympathy. There’s still a majority view out there that still assumes a ‘patriarchy’ or that men are more ‘suited’ to careers and certainly that men are more ‘responsible’ for providing and having career success. White ‘working class’ males get 400 a month. This is the first of anything I’ve seen I’ll give you that. It’s more of a social mobility effort than an effort to help men as a whole really. I think it’s strange to focus in on white people. It also pales as insignificant when compared to the kinds of preferential treatment we give to women all over the west doesn’t matter their skin color, you might get even more for different skin colors. Interesting. I don’t know enough about this. I feel like in my situation I was circumcised and didn’t have a choice. So that’s maybe wrong. No. I'm sorry, we're not going to play games with our own idiosyncratic idea of what constitutes 'normal' and use that to then move the goal posts of the discussion. 'Normal' can be anything and my use of #3 in my response to you was simply an example not a rewrite of something you said though it does happen and we can't honestly sit here and pretend that it doesn't. /r/PurplePillDebate28/04/24 05:09 AM
2

I’m not so sure about that last paragraph. "Men’s complaint about the loss of male only spaces is a stumbling block of men’s own creation." Really? Yes. Men heard from women that they want to be included in male spaces so they changed it to now where there are hardly any male spaces left. Which is it, women? Do you want us to have male spaces or not? You decide. Smells more of the textbook victim-blaming I describe in the OP as category #3.
/r/PurplePillDebate28/04/24 04:51 AM

I don’t think women and men get a similar amount of sympathy and shame. I think it says something that you spent your response trying to convince me that it is similar instead of really sticking to answering the question where you have the opportunity to provide some kind of examples.

Your first paragraph is most certainly true in my experience. Women very often redirect this complaint in various ways. One category is - the woman always has a right to their perceived ‘safety’ which can be anything they deem it. So, even when a man jumps through hoops to prove he’s a civilized human who doesn’t have suspect motives, one of the women in the group can always simply say the words “I feel unsafe or uncomfortable” - game over. Speaking towards your overall claim - ‘every aspect of …

/r/PurplePillDebate28/04/24 03:00 AM

The only time I've ever participated in this act is when women have vehemently asked me to do it. I was scared to do it, and with a new partner I always will have some fear of doing that with a woman for the first time. Somehow there's this narrative that men are the instigators of this shit. It's just not the case. It's not the case at all in my experience.
/r/PurplePillDebate28/04/24 02:59 AM

It seemed pretty clear actually that I was the first choice in that situation and not the second. She was giving me the pick of which day. And I think, by speaking of it in such a manner, she was communicating this.
/r/PurplePillDebate28/04/24 02:53 AM

That's how I interpreted it as well.
/r/PurplePillDebate28/04/24 02:50 AM

"Op has defined too available as dating one person at a time and giving full romantic interest to one person." I agree with this. "[most people] in the comments have interpreted this as having nothing going on in life and having 0 social network and no friends." It certainly looks to be the case. I think the guy was just trying to say this.
/r/PurplePillDebate28/04/24 02:49 AM

Pretty much.
/r/PurplePillDebate28/04/24 02:48 AM

even though i'm a homebody who wants to stay home and read a book 7 days a week, i'm still "busy". I'm busy doing the things i want to do. i wouldn't immediately jump into a relationship or see someone multiple times a week right away, because i'm busy. ^ This is not relevant to any of the topics or anything I've done in my life at all. This is predicated on the assumption that all men at every stage of life are relationship avoidant sex hounds. That’s just not the case. Honestly, if access to sex was as easy for straight men, life would be better for everyone. It’s a false dilemma. No man wants any woman like these. In a world where women aren’t shamed for asking for 666, men should be able to ask for the bare minimum - not a whore, not a slut, not a domineering single mom. I’m interested to see what your opposite examples are. 1. Dude who’s acceptable in most ways except he’s only 5’10 2. Dude who is everything else except he only makes 99k. 3. Dude is everything except his Johnson is only 5.9 inches. Unacceptable choices, right?

It’s so awful having billions of dollars because I run out of ideas for things to spend it on! You just have no idea how much I suffer. Try growing some empathy for a change.

I didn’t realize live-in polygyny was the standard though I fully see one live-in partner in the picture in many cases. This is exactly the lifestyle mode of ‘polyamorous’ people in my area. It also fits the structure of what I spoke about as ‘gig relationships.’ It’s happening. Men doing the ‘soft harem’ is shocking and shameful but women doing it is empowering. In my region, many women do this. If you try to call them out on it, it’s like how dare you. Or they have this bullshit ‘sex at dawn’ …

Feelings based equality. I feel like things are unequal, therefore things need to be addressed at the societal level. This is despite the fact that I’m actually inherently advantaged.
/r/PurplePillDebate21/04/24 03:48 PM

And any method women use to do anything is celebrated to at the very least excused.

Having advantages aren’t really advantages because it’s possible to still find something to complain about even when life is easier for you.
/r/PurplePillDebate21/04/24 09:58 AM

Nah. It's already happening. It's like the gig economy but for relationships. Women have all sorts of guys on their roster. They got a guy or multiple guys for 1. Bills 2. Dick 3. Emotional stuff 4. Handyman type shit 5. Niche interest of the month, etc and then they could also have a primary female live in partner. I've already witnessed this as a common lifestyle in my region. As a man, you have to know how to avoid getting involved with these people. They don't want a monogamish relationship …

What I'm saying is - it makes no difference whether her previous partners were unattractive or not. And furthermore, this has nothing to do with her nature being 'hypergamous' or not.

1

I think the word 'misogynist' is used far too lightly and frequently and to the point where it no longer has any real meaning. Basically, you're kind of like - if you are RP, then PROVE you aren't a misogynist. LOL. It's like the assumption is that RP, as a default state, might very well be. I don't think RP men need to prove their innocence under the assumption that they are guilty.

No. How does this make any difference?
/r/PurplePillDebate20/04/24 07:58 PM

So the entire idea of a bluepill man is to be redpilled but pretend like you aren't This might be true some of the time but not all. A lot of men haven't yet realized any of the uncomfortable realities of dating.
/r/PurplePillDebate19/04/24 09:49 PM

I literally had a time with a BP user on here who might present himself after I put this comment out there. I simply defended people's rights to date abroad if that's what they wanted to. He called me a 'Passport Bro' and tried to shame me. Later it turned out he had dated abroad and I'd never had that experience before. He was the only Passport Bro in the conversation, attempting to disrespect other people for being, essentially, just like himself. This sub is a wild place.

That doesn’t mean that leagues = ‘superior’ and that leagues don’t exist. This has already been addressed.
/r/PurplePillDebate19/04/24 09:48 AM
1

Your argument is simply repeat name calling and adding ‘lmao.’ This does not put you in any believable seat of authority to be calling anyone or anything else ‘emotionally immature.’ You’re projecting. Read this conversation over again. That is why men reject you. It’s not because you engage in the act of approaching them. It’s because you are yourself. Have a nice day.
/r/PurplePillDebate19/04/24 09:45 AM
1

Yes. Blanket denial and calling things names certainly is.
/r/PurplePillDebate19/04/24 09:39 AM

Let us all know when you’re willing to date men uglier, shorter, more broke, and more obese than you. Leagues will still exist to must other people though. Just not you.

1

It’s literally not that you know it.
/r/PurplePillDebate19/04/24 09:30 AM

This sub is wild. People here would never entertain a man claiming leagues don’t exist. Lol.
/r/PurplePillDebate19/04/24 09:29 AM
1

Nah. You’re adding that in there on your own. Just because men reject you and won’t date you doesn’t mean they’re ‘better’ than you necessarily, they just won’t date you or girls like you. Because they’re out of your league. It’s just as simple as where you drew the line earlier with the guys ‘you’re not interested in.’ It’s not a ‘flavor’ - they’re ugly and obese! Same same is often why guys reject you! The idea of leagues is actually more nuanced than your strawman interpretation. Bc you’re bu…

/r/PurplePillDebate19/04/24 09:02 AM

Believe it or not, it’s a thing. Call it something else if that works for you but surely exists. If there are no leagues, then you’re out of no man’s league right? So ugly, bald, broke, short, obese, losers with mental problems are not beneath you in any way right? Since there are no leagues you give all those guys a chance right?
/r/PurplePillDebate19/04/24 08:53 AM
1

No. That’s how leagues work. Especially with age. Grown men aren’t wasting their time on women who aren’t at their level. You’re approaching them, they’re declining you, that’s how that works.
/r/PurplePillDebate19/04/24 08:49 AM
2

Did they reject you? They were out of your league then.
/r/PurplePillDebate19/04/24 08:41 AM
1

Yes. Reframe lack of social skills to ‘incompatible.’ The reality is most likely that you’re only bothering to approach guys way out of your league. Of course those guys will say no but not because you approached, unless your approach is really that bad in which case that’s the reason as stated previously. “It tends to not work out if I approach therefore I don’t approach” I would say more likely than not, all things being equal, that women have a FAR higher success rate approaching compared to …

Lol. Okay. I was just told earlier apps were full of married men. Which is it? At least now we have an explanation. Every guy you’re not all picking and dating simultaneously is a goblin. Kinda backs up what people are saying. Thanks for admitting it at least.
/r/PurplePillDebate18/04/24 05:30 PM
2

In this case, the evidence is coming to him.
/r/PurplePillDebate18/04/24 05:28 PM

Anyone can call anyone a boyfriend for any or no reason and the OP hints at this with use of contrasting perspectives. Which brings back to the original question, how do you prove your commitment to these online groups?
/r/PurplePillDebate18/04/24 05:26 PM

Which, again, has no bearing at all on OPs point that you helped prove.
/r/PurplePillDebate18/04/24 05:19 PM

You brought the word ‘cheating’ into the conversation. That was you. If the people going to groups online are suspicious of cheating, what is the process for proving their mutual commitment with these men? This is only being said because of you.
/r/PurplePillDebate18/04/24 05:16 PM

This has no bearing at all on what people are saying. Matching is still a part of the selection process. Lol.
/r/PurplePillDebate18/04/24 05:12 PM

The guy is not saying that you’re picking them because they’re married. He’s saying that women tend to end up picking the same top guys despite claims suggesting a highly varied sense of taste that woman claim to have in men. Why do your matches online even concern you then? The fact that finding out if they’re married or not is a problem for you in the first place is evidence to his point directly from yourself. All people are saying is that you’re very often swiping on the same guys. So either…
/r/PurplePillDebate18/04/24 04:42 PM

You said what the ‘picking’ was in the first sentence - the matching part. Lol. That’s what OP is saying.
/r/PurplePillDebate18/04/24 04:30 PM

Again. Where do they submit their proof of commitment?
/r/PurplePillDebate18/04/24 04:29 PM

So when they make their claims on these sites how do they submit their ‘proof of commitment’? Lol.
/r/PurplePillDebate18/04/24 04:17 PM

It’s really just a silly meme. Just because a meme exists doesn’t mean that what you’re saying makes sense. You’re saying the problem is ‘men treat women like a sock.’ Like they put them away in drawers and wear them on their feet? That’s what socks were made for and that’s what most men do with them. No one buys a sock and is like okay I’m going to Jack off in this. Most guys have plenty of other better ways to Jack off which is why the sock thing is a funny joke. I can’t imagine fucking a sock…
/r/PurplePillDebate18/04/24 04:14 PM

You realize this is based off of real actual are we dating the same man groups that exist for this reason. If these stories were so unbelievable we wouldn’t have the groups with exposés like west end Caleb or whatever.
/r/PurplePillDebate18/04/24 04:06 PM

90% of the ones you’ve been picking, which is OPs point.
/r/PurplePillDebate18/04/24 04:03 PM

You looked up the ones that you picked though. This is kind of the point of what the guy is saying.
/r/PurplePillDebate18/04/24 04:01 PM
5

The whole sock thing doesn’t make sense though. Pick something else.
/r/PurplePillDebate18/04/24 03:58 PM

So you are the one invalidating suffering Wrong again. You can revisit the context of the LOL that I already unpacked. Why are you ignoring who the perpetrators are if you claim to care about the violence? A discussion of victim-hood is a discussion of victim-hood. I don't know how many times this has been said. It's an incredibly simple concept. men are still the problem Of course this is something you would say. How about this - most violent offenders are also non-white. I dare you to say who …

You have the nerve to type that out even adding in the “LOL” for good measure and then turn around and claim that I am invalidating men??? Was pretty easy to LOL at. Dude you literally said women are victimized by men because they “choose them” Didn't say that at all. I did say that men are more likely to be killed by strangers which is true. Women complain about the physical threats outside, when it's the men closest to them that are most likely to cause them harm. It is true that women at some…

Okay what are the ways? Exactly what you're doing right now is one of those ways and it's evidence that it happens in abundance. It goes back to my original response to you. 'Feminists,' yourself included based on what you said, attempt to invalidate male suffering in various ways. One of those ways is to, in any situation, change the discussion to a comparative and insist that 'women suffer more' or that 'mens' suffering is mens' fault.' You changed the subject to violence which you think serves you but it's an issue that you have just illustrated that you don't understand. You wouldn't be the hottest girl I've ever dated but I would marry you and pay for your entire life if you weren't too much of a pill to deal with. So miss me with the “reverse sexism” it’s not there. It doesn’t exist. the idea that sexism against men is a real threat is bonkers. Men are more likely to be victimized by actual misogynistic men then they are by feminists! A man who is victimized is still a victim, regardless of who victimizes them. Men are the primary victims of violence and this has remained constant throughout history. Men who are victimized are not simultaneously the victim and the perpetrator. The vast majority of violent…
/r/PurplePillDebate16/04/24 10:05 PM

I’ve given you a definition from a source. Not sure what else I can do for you.
/r/PurplePillDebate16/04/24 09:50 PM

She should change her thesis statement to focus on that part then. The tell is that she acknowledges that women as a whole get to ask things like ‘above 6 ft tall’. It’s very commonly iterated. Men don’t get to ask for things like that. Men try to say - ‘please don’t be obese,’ and are met with - how dare you for body shaming. Dating is very regional. But across regions, who do you think has a better chance? A black woman of any kind or a below average height man of any kind?
/r/PurplePillDebate16/04/24 09:49 PM

Again. Yes. Men are never violently attacked. Sexism against men doesn’t exist.
/r/PurplePillDebate16/04/24 09:44 PM

/r/PurplePillDebate16/04/24 09:42 PM

/r/PurplePillDebate16/04/24 09:40 PM

The population of excluded women is smaller. Most women could drastically improve their situations by simply getting in shape. This is, all things considered, comparatively pretty easy. The majority of men are excluded based on characteristics that are unchangeable (height) to very difficult to change (achieving top socio-economic status). We can’t all be tall and top 20%. The reality is that much fewer men are chosen and reproduce. It’s always been this way. This should be all that needs to be …

I'm not interested in casual sex. As a man, the desire for sex is pretty biologically hardwired and strong. This is to say that even though I'm not into or looking for casual sex as an end goal, if sex is on the table and I'm attracted to the woman, I would want the sex. There's really nothing wrong here and no contradiction. As an older man I'm looking for a lot more than that. At the end of the day, however, sex is important - this doesn't mean I'm looking for a hookup or a sex club or anythin…
/r/PurplePillDebate15/04/24 05:40 AM

Welp. Try saying it and we can all stand by and witness the comment not get removed.
/r/PurplePillDebate15/04/24 05:24 AM

Oh, that's TOTALLY the same thing as "all short men should be eradicated."
/r/PurplePillDebate15/04/24 04:19 AM

We can have this discussion. You and this other guy should probably first agree on what you think 'mainstream' is, and then don't move those goal posts. I would start with something ubiquitous and small. But I think, keeping it on point to what we were talking about in this post, we can just look at what kind of expression iterated in public discourse is generally more accepted than not. And I think, for the most part, we already know how that tends to go.
/r/PurplePillDebate15/04/24 04:15 AM

Yes. The Internet has nothing to do with public discourse and culture.

If you're complaining about an anonymous message board and you're saying this is one of the places you're finding offensive content you don't like, then that sort of directly speaks to the point of what we're talking about. In order to say stuff like that people need to go to dark, and as you say 'anonymous', places like that in order to say it and not have it insta-taken down. In many other places, it's insta-taken down.
/r/PurplePillDebate15/04/24 03:39 AM

I think that it’s not the ‘you go girl’ inherently, rather it’s surprisingly what many people will say ‘you go girl’ to.
/r/PurplePillDebate15/04/24 03:34 AM

Correct. Only women are allowed to be victims. Even when they’re not!
/r/PurplePillDebate15/04/24 03:31 AM

Those are the best examples she can come up with.
/r/PurplePillDebate15/04/24 03:29 AM

Oh, so you can see the rest of Reddit, which is now and has always been dominated by men. So dominated by men that you can see them being called 'incels' for any or no reason on the daily, with no consequences.
/r/PurplePillDebate15/04/24 03:26 AM

It's impossible to be genuinely kind and it's impossible to be single by choice. If you are a man only.
/r/PurplePillDebate15/04/24 03:24 AM

Yes. Let's abolish r/askmen. Only asking women should exist. LOL. Yes. Let's get rid of r/deadbedrooms. Lol. Women do not have enough control over language and culture today.
/r/PurplePillDebate15/04/24 03:23 AM

They are active, not banned. Some of these groups have been banned on the male side only. Meanwhile we can go over to FDS right now and still see them scrote it up on the daily. What's more is you can go out in public and women can say it out loud unchecked. Men outnumber women on reddit 3:1. This population stat has no bearing on the discussion whatsoever. A simple population break down is just that. Public discourse is very often policed by extreme minorities in a population, and this has been…
/r/PurplePillDebate15/04/24 03:18 AM

Again. You're deliberately not reading. By comparison, misandry is completely accepted not just online but out in the open. No one gets corrected or canceled for saying openly misandrist things in public.
/r/PurplePillDebate15/04/24 02:44 AM

And many of these places get banned out of existence. And I'm not here defending one iota of their content. You can read my comment again to see what it was actually about. I'm sure men are like this online in part because there's a lack of places where they'd be able to get away with such things. By comparison, misandry is completely accepted not just online but out in the open. No one gets corrected or canceled for saying openly misandrist things in public.
/r/PurplePillDebate15/04/24 02:42 AM

I've been in leftist groups my whole life because I'm a leftist. Men keep their mouths shut so they don't rock the boat. Women get away with saying literally whatever they want.
/r/PurplePillDebate15/04/24 02:36 AM

I'm not here to defend whatever it is you're claiming these other men are saying or doing online but you can't honestly pretend that women don't do the equivalent harsher, more openly, and less taxed, every day, offline as well as online. Check your privilege. “lmfao nobody wants you you are expired”. Women say this shit about men every day, except it doesn't stop at age. The only* point I agree with is that we shouldn’t mock small dicks. But you should be able to diss men for everything else I'…

If they were truly ‘happy being single’ they wouldn’t be on a date with a guy in the first place. It’s bullshit because at some point in this process women like this are not being honest about something. You’re happy single? Cool. Enjoy that.
/r/PurplePillDebate15/04/24 01:20 AM

I am told that all men, regardless of their own age and marital status and parenthood, prefer childless women age 18-35. Prefer is just that.

There are a lot of older married women here (if they're married and happy why do they spend so much time on here?). They come here to antagonize younger single men. They very often get caught lying, contradict themselves, and engage in purely personal attack based interactions. This kind of person and this kind of behavior is what I would call a troll. The men who come here and do those things typically get spotted and banned, which is fine. However, nobody is stopping these women who come here …
/r/PurplePillDebate14/04/24 12:13 AM

When you really boil it down, the man's attractiveness is the reason behind most issues to be honest. The problem is the constant gaslighting we see here trying to convince us otherwise. If we weren't met with such vehement denial, there wouldn't be as much of a need for these kinds of posted. So, I'm not surprised that they're so common. Don't worry. You're a woman posting. If a straight woman was in her thirties & still has never been in a LTR, would you consider that a red flag? Yes. If people tell her she’s attractive, very reserved, sex isn’t important at all & she uses the dating apps primarily but pretty casually, are all these traits of a woman that actually wants to be in a relationship? She might want a relationship, she might think that she wants a relationship, she might be just saying that she wants a relationship. If she truly wants a relationship, how…

Men suffer from low quantity and quality. Because there's a lack of quantity, many men have no alternatives to putting up with low quality women. This allows women en masse to get away with being low quality and they can still get dates.

Picky and single by choice are not the same thing. The reason is simple - the choice that the person really wants is a significant other that they don’t currently have. True single by choice are people who are happier single. And that’s different from merely saying you’re ‘happier single’ because we all know that many of those people are in fact liars and are miserable. Single by choice is setting out to be single and achieving that vision. Being single because there aren’t options that you like…

I mean you can claim anything is ‘incel rhetoric’ for any or no reason. Saying such a thing also has no bearing on the truth value of the original statement. You don’t want to have a conversation about whether the statement is true or not. You just want to call it names.
/r/PurplePillDebate10/04/24 05:16 AM

In the last one, firstly look at what's happening in Ukraine. Being a male Ukrainian is a death sentence and that's because of the draft. Secondly, the fact that a nation hasn't used a draft is immaterial to the fact that men are registered to be drafted and women are not. Every response is a cop out.

hardcore feminists You don't have to be a dedicated ideologue in order to treat men poorly and contribute to casual misandrist culture. Basically if you're a woman and you find it impossible to acknowledge male specific suffering then you are the problem. I'm not asking for any of this 'advice' or 'explanation.' The question is the question.
/r/PurplePillDebate05/04/24 09:37 PM

It seems like no one is actually answering the question of the post. Instead, it's a lot of people trying to reimagine things that I've already described in the post or put words in my mouth that I didn't say.
/r/PurplePillDebate05/04/24 09:36 PM

Okay, you seem to be really struggling with a very fundamental understanding of women and mating. Nah. The post is simply a question to men asking if they've had similar experiences and what they were like.
/r/PurplePillDebate05/04/24 09:28 PM

I appreciate that you have thoughts about this. I'm not really struggling for an explanation as much as I'm asking other men if they've had specific similar experiences and what they were like.

Women do not date losers. They very often do. Objective losers maybe ^ That's obviously what I'm talking about. Which leads us to the question of what really is a loser now doesn't it? Because it doesn't matter if the guy is a loser or not. The woman simply for any reason or no reason at all rejects him. Keep in mind the context of how I originally used the term 'loser.' You've already taken that term outside of that context and now to the point where it has no meaning. In my original post, 'los…

‘Label’ is not necessarily ‘perceived.’ People are capable of calling others names without believing those things to be actually true. I don’t know or claim to know what women are perceiving or thinking. So stop changing my words. Again, not sure you’re getting the concept.
/r/PurplePillDebate05/04/24 07:04 AM

Yes, people typically exist on a spectrum, not as a binary option. You will find that most traits that people find attractive are only attractive at a certain point on the bell curve, but on either side of that the attraction falls off. For starters, let's examine your first comment. Never did I say that actual people don't exist on a spectrum. That being said, there is often a vast gulf between what men actually, objectively are and what women label them as based any or no reasons.
/r/PurplePillDebate05/04/24 06:58 AM

My conclusion is that we are bundling two types of women into one. I don't know if this is necessarily true. I've talked with many women about this and how they see guys they're dating. I also very much have witnessed women saying something one day and then very strongly saying the opposite a different day. Not only do I not think it's only 'two types of women,' I think it's very often sometimes the same woman, just a different day.
/r/PurplePillDebate05/04/24 06:39 AM

You are making a very big mistake It's not a mistake. You can read some of my examples. The "loser" that she rejects even though he is available is rejected for being a loser, not for being available. He would be rejected even if the woman has no information on the status of his availability trait. That's an assumption. Women date losers all the time. You're assuming that women are knowing enough about the men to know that they are losers. We can objectively evaluate guys as losers but it's hard…

'Emotional availability' means a lot of different things to a lot of different people in many situations. I think what some women mean by 'emotional availability' is basically men who are relationship ready. What it often actually is, is that man giving her attention.

My experience is that women don't like low maintenance men in and out of relationships. In dating, they don't like men who are easy to get along with because it's not a challenge. They don't like being in relationships with low maintenance men because it bothers them being around men who can be happy with so little. I've seen this many times. Men love dating low maintenance women. Those are more rare. Women tend to not like other women who are low maintenance but men love them.
/r/PurplePillDebate01/04/24 08:26 PM

It doesn’t matter what the particular comparison is, though I think both are applicable due to the inherent differences between men and women. The fact remains that you consider a list of behaviors tantamount to cheating only if it’s men doing it.

/r/PurplePillDebate01/04/24 06:05 AM

LOL. You clearly don't understand that while age can be a challenge as a parent, there are a lot of potentially WAY WORSE problems associated with bringing up kids too early in life under circumstances that can be WAY poor if people aren't prepared to have a kid. Of all the factors associated with producing a quality upbringing for a child, you're LASER FOCUSED on the age of the MAN on this dating sub topic entitled "Men’s standards are just as problematic as women’s."
/r/PurplePillDebate01/04/24 05:14 AM
2

I mean, yes?? Why would anyone want to have kids that old? Ask old women who freeze their eggs. Lots of people. LOL. 'Sperm quality' please. Everything degrades when you get older. If men are able to have kids and still want to have kids, like what should that be illegal? "Proper dad stuff." Lol. As if that's an age specific thing. Then tell me where is the line for that? Certain age - Nope, you can no longer be a father figure to someone. As if YOUNG fathers are SUPER ON POINT with being father…
/r/PurplePillDebate01/04/24 04:57 AM

LOL. But he can still have kids if he wants to. All 'my body, my choice' until men are doing it.

If you're a woman.

We already covered this territory. Lol.
/r/PurplePillDebate01/04/24 02:17 AM

Lol. So, again, what you're saying is that if a man doesn't impregnate a woman by 45 then he shouldn't reproduce. Who are you to demand this? You realize you're saying this in a post entitled "Men’s standards are just as problematic as women’s." Kind of an own goal.
/r/PurplePillDebate01/04/24 02:15 AM
2

Okay. But, according to you, if he was 45 and talked to your mom about wanting to have a kid, the 'normal' response to him should be - welp, go kick rocks? Lol.
/r/PurplePillDebate01/04/24 02:08 AM
2

That’s a pretty normal opinion if you want a normal family life. My parents had me older Lol. What? XD. You can't make this shit up.
/r/PurplePillDebate01/04/24 02:04 AM
1

a man that old would be running into pretty significant health problems while his child is relatively young. That's not necessarily true though. 45 is not even old. Lol. should forget about it. What people should do, according to kids on the internet. Lol. You should put away that TikTok and stop with the dating apps.
/r/PurplePillDebate01/04/24 02:02 AM

Men and women have different situations in life. I don't make the rules. What I referred to as morally repugnant is the notion that 'men need impregnate a woman before 45 if they desire to reproduce.' Pretty disgusting.
/r/PurplePillDebate01/04/24 01:57 AM
1

I mean. If women have to worry about starting a family before age thirty then I really don’t care if you find it morally repugnant to think a man should have children by forty five. What? I literally don't understand what you're trying to say with this. I didn't make a rule that men are able to father children at older ages than women are able to have them. I did not make that a rule. Just make anything you say make sense.
/r/PurplePillDebate01/04/24 01:49 AM

My uncle is forty, fat, ugly and smokes and managed to get a wife and have four kids. She however was ugly. Okay. What's your point? Lol. I mean men on this sub say that about women who are thirty and older. It’s not that different. I think it really IS that different. Some people, men and women, consider certain dating ages appropriate. Are these men also uncompromising on appearance, height, income, weight, etc? Lol. We all know what women want because we've listened to them. Lol. Some men jus…

Most men don’t have nearly as many standards as most women have. Look, if I were 25, I wouldn’t waste my time dating a 30 year old either unless she was like really great. Most aren’t.
/r/PurplePillDebate01/04/24 01:24 AM

I’m pretty open to giving just about anyone a chance.
/r/PurplePillDebate01/04/24 01:21 AM

Women get approached, therefore they have options. Some men never have an option in their lives.
/r/PurplePillDebate01/04/24 01:21 AM

Yep.
/r/PurplePillDebate01/04/24 01:20 AM
2

Yea. But for the most part men are far more flexible than women are. You agree that women get approached right?
/r/PurplePillDebate01/04/24 01:20 AM
2

Most men have pretty reasonable standards though.
/r/PurplePillDebate01/04/24 01:19 AM
2

You can’t just speak about mens’ standards in general as you do in the title and then exclude most mens’ standards because they’re reasonable. Lol. Like.. what?
/r/PurplePillDebate01/04/24 01:19 AM
2

You can’t just speak about mens’ standards in general as you do in the title and then exclude most mens’ standards because they’re reasonable. Lol. Like.. what?
/r/PurplePillDebate01/04/24 01:16 AM

But then that undermines the claim that mens’ standards are problematic. Lol.
/r/PurplePillDebate01/04/24 01:14 AM

I have pretty flexible standards personally. I’d be open to dating just about anyone at this point.
/r/PurplePillDebate01/04/24 01:13 AM

Most men have pretty flexible standards. Especially compared to women. You would think that would be enough to refute the claim in the title.

When you’re a man and you’re looking to date, marriageable options don’t just come to you. Lol. Options come to women. Most men are invisible to women.
/r/PurplePillDebate01/04/24 01:00 AM
6

I already have very low standards. Ugly women still have options.
/r/PurplePillDebate01/04/24 12:58 AM
3

Where did I say that was the ideal?
/r/PurplePillDebate01/04/24 12:56 AM
5

So again it’s ‘mens’ fault.’ I don’t think you understand how dating works. Men who don’t get noticed don’t have options. With no options, there’s no ‘potentially should’ve’ anything. In fact it’s probably smart for men to build up stability. In the end, you’re basically saying that if you haven’t impregnated a woman by 45 then forget about it. I can’t think of anything more morally repugnant that’s been mentioned here.
/r/PurplePillDebate01/04/24 12:54 AM

Yea sure. Lots of incredibly rare things still exist sometimes. What’s your point? You what about that conjoined twins that still found a decent husband. Lol.

If you’re a man and want to reproduce, you can’t really date 40+ women. Like you physically have no choice. Lol. Those 40+ dudes have been trying their whole lives to get noticed by any woman. It probably didn’t work for them in their 20s and 30s. So after investing in their career for decades they come to realize - women still don’t like them. What do you honestly expect these guys to do? Lol. Divorced women with kids look for men with money and no kids all the time. How is it all of a sudden n…

Old women chose not secure a man in their youth. Promiscuous women chose to be promiscuous. Fat women chose to let themselves go. Short men have no control over the height they were born with yet we are allowed to openly judge them. This place is disgusting.

It really just means men leaving dating. Somehow it has to ‘also mean something else,’ the more sinister the better. Spite is irrelevant if you’re no longer interacting with women in the first place. If you’re spiteful, how do you know? You don’t if you’re a woman because they’re not interacting with you. Lol. That’s the point.

I literally only wrote this in response to comments in this post from women suggesting that the problem is mens’ simping. We have women who are complaining about something that often benefits them.

This is a double bind. The only party creating the double bind is women in this scenario. Which obviously means that the only way this can be changed is if women can manage their feelings and expectations better. We do not have a mechanism that forces women to do this. It's a double bind because it stands as follows: As men we are expected to 'provide' for women. Men who are perceived by women as 'inadequate providers' are disregarded and seen as men who are 'less than' as men. Cheap, broke, dus…

Why should women take advice from people who loathe them? It's common to see tradcons and red pillers alike... ^ When you reduce advice to 'who speaks it' rather than weighing the merits of the actual advice, then that's when you know we have truly lost the plot as a thinking society. This topic seems to really focus on the 'who' is giving the advice. The challenge of advice is really to sort out the truth of which advice is worth listening to. Sometimes the right advice is not what people want …

If what OP is saying is that "men are going away" then it sounds like men are just going away and that's that. If what OP is trying to say is really that "men are 'saying' they're going away but kind of just fake 'going away' only to come back and hate on women" then that's not what I would describe as men 'going away' exactly. In which case if the latter is what's happening, and that "women are not going to look back" then why do women give a shit about the comments? I thought they "weren't loo…

Men who quit dating out of despair, men who suffered a breakup/divorce and sworn away from dating, men who can't find a GF and switch to dolls/AI chatbots - share same trait. They are not desired by women. \^ This is not necessarily true.

It is not a hypothetical scenario. Your title says otherwise. It reads "If men...blah blah, then, something." While not all loneliness is attributed to men giving up on dating, it very well might be true that, in reality. that an amount of men have checked out of dating altogether. So what?
/r/PurplePillDebate27/03/24 08:33 AM

? I’m not sure what you’re describing. Look. You created the hypothetical situation of “men going away.” If they’re going away they’re going away. How women respond to that is not relevant to men who have already left. Just make your own scenario make sense.

It's still about dating in general, read the whole post. I did read the whole post. The title is not something that is not part of the post. Lol. If I, for example, wrote a book, the title is a part of that work. Lol. In fact, some would suggest that if my title says something, then the book should be supporting what my title says rather than all of sudden contain a different point. Lol. Settling is bad for all people involved. It depends on what people mean by 'settling' though. Because, again,…

You don't need to tell me how posting on the Internet works. Evidently, I do. Lol. And yes, I think that knowing what those standards are, is an important part of that discussion and I've already explained why numerous times. Lol.
