Therapy might be the only thing that might help. Compulsive self hatred isn’t an easy thing to fix without knowing where the problems and feelings originally come from. You can’t fix a physical injury without seeing exactly where and how the bone broke or the muscle/ tendon tore. You can’t just “walk off” a broken leg or torn tendon / muscle, so why would your brain be any different? Ultimately we are the ones who decide how we experience reality so you would benefit from someone walking you thr…

Basically, I am all for holding people accountable for problematic beliefs, but was he problematic just for asking a question? Not really. But people jumped so hard that the poor bastard deleted his OP.

But can we even prove the OP is into Red Pill? (I haven’t looked at his post history, so IDK.) He chose an odd place to ask the question, but that doesn’t mean it wasn’t a genuine question.

But is there any proof actually suggesting he’s “looking for other women,” cuz I am not really seeing that. Only a bit of insecurity thrown in for good measure. He obviously cares way too much about what random strangers think.

First and foremost, ignore rude random people. They are irrelevant. A lady who works at Auntie Annie’s Pretzels shouldn’t be standing around judging customers, especially with no context. Secondly, I have noticed a lot of younger Zoomers got brainwashed by the Alt-right grift including women buying into the “Trad Wife” aesthetic. Basically, it’s incredibly ironic that everything gets blamed on Liberals / “liberal media” when it’s also always been feminism and liberal ideologies that encourage wo…

You absolutely can find guys who are not red-pill! You simply have to stop hanging out with guys like your BF because they hang out with each other since nobody reasonable wants to hang out with them.

Hate to break it to you OP, but he is not a good guy, and I think that he secretly resents the fact that he takes care of you financially since you are disabled. Since he pays for everything he thinks you shouldn’t have a say in your own life, and it’s a very yucky perspective to have.

Technically, they said “anxious and awkward” not “weird,” and anyone can be anxious, awkward, or even “weird” without having ASD. Saying “look for a community or support group for Asperger’s” is solid advice, and as another Neurodivergent person, just with ADHD instead, I often do find other Neurodivergent people (with either ASD, ADHD, or both) to usually be easier to talk to and connect with.

You aren’t “dumb” OP, merely human, and more importantly you seem to be learning! Intelligent people recognize when they are wrong and seek to course correct, so it sounds to me like you are very intelligent, indeed. Social media has really done a number on people and warped their perception of reality, unfortunately. I think that one of the best things you can do is reach out to other young men and share your experiences with them.

I don’t know, Redpill is pretty toxic and it’s basically a cult. It won’t be long til he stops seeing his daughter as human and caring how she feels cuz of her gender.
/r/ExRedPill07/10/25 02:21 PM

Really though. OP might love her dad, but her dad is literally losing his ability to see women as human beings and love women. She’ll be on the list of “people he doesn’t care about” before she knows it. You can’t fix that, especially if he “doesn’t want therapy.” In all he’s becoming a toxic man and only he can do anything about it.

By knowing that having a bad partner or at least the wrong kind of partner for you can totally ruin your life, and it’s really that simple! People tend to over-romanticize romance, over-emphasize the importance of romantic love. But the reality is many different kinds of human relationships can be incredibly fulfilling {Family, Platonic friendships, Mentorship / being a mentee, positive co-worker relationship, and etc…….} Where really the one which is the most likely to end badly in heartbreak, …

Don’t diminish your progress or down-play your own personal growth just because of your past, or just because you aren’t quite at the level you want to be at just yet. If you keep up the work consistently, then you’ll get there! If you are learning from it, then your mental maturity has already increased exponentially. Unfortunately a lot of men still don’t get it, still don’t grow in their level of empathy in spite of having female family members and relatives.

You are so nice! This other dude is just not going to get it, unfortunately. He’s got his head too far up his own rump to see clearly. I’m really sorry for your experiences, but also if you ever hear weird stuff like that, block immediately! You never know what kind of weirdos are out there willing to try really weird crap. I kinda think you should probably take a break from dating, overall, and maybe try seeing a therapist for a little bit as you try to process this emotional trauma, cuz it sounds like it’s a lot, and you deserve to process it all in a safe space.

The real reason you believe that is because you don’t like the fact that the truth is infinitely more complicated than RedPill / black pill makes it out to be because human beings are complicated creatures! You want easy answers rather than inconvenient truths, and we can’t help you with that, unfortunately. 🤷‍♀️ I know it’s much easier to believe in nonsense than it is to take risks and potentially get hurt, but that’s the only way to eventually find a good partner who wants to be with you beca…

While I agree that neither Andrew Tate nor Jordan Peterson are “INCELs,” they are grifters who legitimize and sell the Redpill agenda, and they are objectively terrible people. As are many other people who are “INCELs” or support RedPill / toxic Manosphere content and ideology.

Technically, men are the choosers more often when it comes to long-term relationships, seeing as they / their families were the primary selectors of their brides throughout the course of human history, and conventionally they are still the ones expected to propose. So it’s not so simple just because women superficially appear to have more options for casual sex in the modern age. To these red-pill egg-heads, what is casual sex really worth when women have always been commodified for their bodies…

No, it does not apply in this context. That is a theory in statistics and is mostly only applicable to business and sales.
/r/ExRedPill30/03/25 02:06 AM
3

Plus, this specific rule of statistics does not apply to dating because by that flawed logic, “the top 20% of women get access to 80% of the men,” {meaning “the bottom 80% of women” would have to make due with the man-meat leftovers} and obviously we know that simply isn’t true. 80/20 works in a business and sales context, not in a human relationship context. Especially because not every single man, woman, or person is cisgender or heteronormative, and like does Red-pill forget that those other …

Cuz insecure, hopeless, and desperate people are easier to manipulate, and a lot of Red Pill grifters are only out to make money. Basically they call women gold-diggers and stigmatize sex work to distract their audience from the fact that Red Pill influencers are also doing it primarily for the money! They don’t really want to empower men because they have no desire to lose their audience to actual contentment. People who are content enough spend less money on crap they don’t actually need.

B/c Reddit hates it when you point out that certain age gaps are still kinda inappropriate even between “consenting adults.” Grooming doesn’t always have to happen before a person is technically “of age,” but lots of people don’t care “as long as it’s legal.”
/r/ExRedPill26/03/25 04:16 AM
7

Look, I hate to be this person because 6 years usually isn’t a “red-flag” age gap with slightly older adults, however there is a reason a 25 y/o man pursued a 19 y/o woman who was barely legal, to begin with. He was likely always predisposed to certain kinds of mentalities that made him much more susceptible to falling down the alt-right red pill pipeline. He was probably never quite the guy you believed him to be, and he was simply given permission to say what he had probably always low-key tho…
/r/ExRedPill25/03/25 04:03 PM
4

I’d argue that if a 24/25 y/o man pursued a barely legal 18/19 y/o woman, then it’s not even that surprising he eventually fell down the alt-right red pill pipeline. That’s one of those age gaps that isn’t too bad, and normally isn’t problematic on its own. However it also speaks volumes when the younger partner is barely an adult at 18/19 and the older partner is already approaching their mid twenties at 24/25.
/r/ExRedPill25/03/25 03:50 PM
5

It’s unfortunate, but let this be a painful lesson. People become what they watch, read, and who they listen to. He has likely always had insecurity issues if he even wanted to listen to red-pill crap in the first place. Nothing has truly been lost because he has merely become who he always was deep within himself, 🤷‍♀️ and what bothers you is that deep within yourself, you know this! You probably feel betrayed that the person you loved never really existed.
/r/ExRedPill06/03/25 07:45 PM

Except OP doesn’t consider themself to be an INCEL, so why are you trying to “gaslight” them into believing they are?!?
/r/ExRedPill28/02/25 03:43 AM

Exactly this!
/r/ExRedPill28/02/25 03:41 AM

Really though! Those are two very different things! Especially because lots of INCELs aren’t even “virgins” anymore.
/r/ExRedPill28/02/25 03:41 AM
3

It cuz a lot of INCELs fall down the alt-right pipeline, unfortunately. That said, a guy isn’t automatically “a misogynist” just cuz he’s a virgin. Frankly, that sounds absurd to me, as guys can choose to be virgins / wait for the right person, or choose not to have sex for various personal reasons. That doesn’t automatically make them “an INCEL” cuz they are making a personal choice not to have sex, meaning it’s not “involuntary” if it’s a choice.

Good for his now ex wife. 🤣 They go to foreign countries to essentially buy girlfriends or wives, then they are surprised when the women move on in search of a guy with more money! That’s what happens when a person makes their romantic relationships “purely transactional.”
/r/ExRedPill02/12/24 02:50 AM
1

The thing is, a lot of those guys who talk crap are insecure and they don’t even have any kind of woman, to begin with. Don’t look for advice from losers with such crappy social skills no one wants them, even though finding someone to have sex with is easier than ever cuz of dating apps, and they still can’t do it!

He “idolizes” his dad because he witnessed the man getting away with psychologically tormenting and emotionally abusing his mother, and messing up the whole family with no consequence! Which was one of your aunt’s unfortunate contributions to this situation, btw. She never should’ve stayed with that horrible and toxic man! She literally ruined her kids for being too spineless to “break the cycle of trauma and abuse.” So her own son thinks she’s weak and “deserves this fate.” Cuz that’s what mess…

My honest opinion? Your cousin was probably always an @$$hole and it wouldn’t surprise me in the slightest if part of the reason they transitioned to begin with was because they always resented their mother, wanted to separate themself from her, and I suspect that if the father is in the picture, then he probably isn’t a very good person or a very positive influence on his family. Your cousin was “good” and “empathetic” cuz they were expected to be and would be “punished” if they were not. Not a…

Geez! You are so warped! I don’t even see how it’s possible to “get to a thousand” without basically being a sex addict who doesn’t have a job or any kind of life responsibility. Who has time for that? This is not a thing to flex about, from any gender. To me, aside from the obvious exaggeration, it demonstrates severe mental illness. Being an emotionally unhealthy, mentally unstable person is not a flex!

That’s such a gross take! Especially cuz it has been demonstrated through statistics that while it’s easier for women to get sex (from sad, gross creatures with zero impulse control,) it’s definitely easier for men to get actual romantic relationships / partners. Idk why you got “downvoted” cuz this was a valid point! “Redpill guys don’t marry successful, smart women,” and “if she does ‘date down’ it won’t be a Redpill dude.” Maybe they just don’t like that idea of “subjectively assigning value to people,” which I get! But it’s only reasonable to have at least some objective standards. That said it would also benefit you to know that a smart and successful woman would never see her chosen partner as “a downgrade.” Very often, she has many reasons for “da…

That sounds quite nice! There are no psychologists “in house” where I go and the LCSWs work for the hospital, itself. So they don’t do therapy “in house.” You have to get referred out and their “out of house” psychologists and LCSW haven’t been good fit for me, personally. Honestly, you are not required to be sympathetic towards people who actively make unwise, objectively bad decisions. But you should still be kind to them, as human beings. I get why some people are saying “the girls are being manipulated,” but at the same time if a person keeps getting manipulated by the same old tactics and tricks, time and again, and they are still pursuing the same kind of guy, then they are making an active choice not to learn / grow. Meaning that they, themselves, are still…

Really though! Whenever I see people going the “I am ugly” route, I literally remember all of the “not so attractive people” I have seen at 6 Flags / Hurricane Harbor with families, and everything! Meaning they almost certainly “had to have the sex, at some point, to make kids.” In OP’s case, I think he might just be a bit of a doormat! Cuz why is he “setting up friends” if a romantic relationship is something that he wants, for himself? I ain’t sharin’ my friends if I want a BF or GF that badly…

Nah, if your friend is satisfied with the support and comfort you provided, then that’s enough and you did a good job! Lots of people are stubborn and “need to learn their lessons the hard way.” They will actually get mad at you if you brings things to their attention, too soon, and they aren’t ready to hear it. Instead of losing 1 friend, you would’ve lost 2 if you had “interjected and intervened” too soon.

For what it’s worth, the majority of people who are pro-choice don’t actually “like abortions.” Something being necessary isn’t the same thing as something being “liked.” I always wonder where pro-birthers get that idea from? I understand the complexity of it. But that won’t necessarily help someone who is trying to understand something, simply, and to figure out how to “not hate men.” Nuance matters in a formal discussion. It is not as important in an informal “this is the gist of it” setting. If you want to explain the nuance and complexity of it, then have at it. It’s hella long! But ef’ it, if you’ve got the time. Might as well!

This was my takeaway! Cuz I definitely have my “angry misandrist days,” but the more I talk to people and interact with men, the more it becomes apparent that while they are very freaking loud, redpill-ers are actually a minority. It’s very easy to end up with a skewed perspective of men if you are only looking at “the worst of the worst” cuz unfortunately “the worst of the worst” are also the ones who seem to get talked about, the most, even though they don’t really represent the majority of me…

By separating individual men from the system of patriarchy. Understand that these are 2 separate entities which only have so much overlap / correlation and “correlation =/= causation.” Men are not Patriarchy and patriarchy isn’t automatically beneficial to all men. Okay, but the majority of people here already seem to agree with that is what I am trying to say (besides “just ignore assholes,” which is still the most important lesson.) It’s a bit like telling a vegetarian “don’t eat meat.” It’s redundant and unnecessary because a vegetarian already doesn’t eat meat. Besides, some men can be dangerous and aggressive when provoked, so the majority of women won’t say something like “small dick energy” to a rando guy on the street. It’s generally a very specifi…

That’s not true though. A lot of healthy women don’t actually care about Penis size. “It’s not about the size of the boat, but the motion of the ocean.” It’s shallow, insecure, and unhealthy women and often other men who care about things like “dick size.” Meaning that they probably hate themselves and aren’t worth listening to! That’s definitely not the point. Part of “getting over ex red pill ideology” is understanding that men hold themselves to their own weird and toxic standards, and some people are just assholes, which isn’t gender specific. Many Redpill ideas were designed by men with the intention of “selling other men ideas and products by preying on their insecurities.” It’s not a “battle of the sexes things,” it is “a marketing thing.” This is how they have been selling women on specific types of clothing and…

It’s not “socially acceptable” to body shame anyone, ever. The problem is simply that a lot of people are assholes on the internet. “Asshole” isn’t gender-specific, ya know? So hopefully it will help you to remember “lots of people just suck and I am sorry for it.” Also, as an aside, “small dick energy” isn’t actually about literal penis size. It’s about a mentality of “overcompensation” that is rooted in toxic masculinity, so I hope that helps explain it.

Because the career woman is independent and doesn’t need them. Thusly the career woman is statistically less likely to end up in an unfulfilling or abusive relationship. I think it depends on the type of women you are interested in. Shallow women are more likely to care about superficial things like status, money, height, etc……. But generally, those aren’t good partners, long term, and they don’t accurately represent the majority of women. Women who have more principles and general emotional maturity won’t usually care much about superficial traits and characteristics, that cannot be changed, like height.
