Main reason is probably having a family, if no kids then at least a partner to share, etc. Personally, I do want a family with kids, but find it really strange that such values, at least face value, is considered "beta" traits when in fact it's the most alpha-esque thing there is. JP is good, and yes he does have his part to play, but people should be keen to keeping him on the ground and not on the pedestal. The man himself even says this in may of his videos. That being said, rather than being dogmatic in either approach, dipping your toes in both sides and retaining/practicing what you like is best approach overall rather than demean one over the other.

Personally, I don't find the filming itself of the dead dude shocking. Definitely. Personally, aside from a near-consistent erection problem, which I felt like added to depression, mini-me just stopped/stops working randomly halfway through, usually when it does get good, and instead of feeling the expected blue-balls I don't/didn't feel anything. That was rough on my ex too. It made her feel like she was part of the problem.
