I think its perfectly fine to have a preference for less promiscuous women, but men shouldn't complain that they aren't getting laid because they think women are too promiscuous. recognize that you simply have a preference and acknowledge thats why you aren't successful.

You're overthinking it king, if she's not texting back she's not interested. On to the next. Thats my advice at least, why waste energy?

If this is a serious post, please I urge you don't get a tattoo for the explicit purpose of attracting a partner. Why would you do such a thing, get a tattoo for yourself and noone else.

They aren't mutually exclusive but it sure would be hard working full time, hitting the gym multiple times per week and having hobbies. Id rather eliminate the thing that is objectively less important, that being hitting the gym for the aesthetics.

I have to disagree with this. I spent the better part of my teens and mid twenties bulking only for me to realize what a complete waste of time that was. Being in shape is a good thing, and by that I mean getting some form of exercise (running, calisthenics, yoga, walking, etc.) at least a couple times a week since we are animals who need it just like we need to be eating whole foods. Side note, all that time spent in the gym with the exclusive goal of getting muscular could be time spent doing …

I think for me its two things, first Im generally more introverted around people I don't know regardless of gender. Second, I hate the idea of being perceived as anything other than normal so a cold approach is naturally a sketchy thing for me. Is there a societal pressure for men to not approach women? Probably but I don't place all of the blame on that, a lot of men should look inward as well as outward.

Bantering usually works, it takes practice but its quite effective. Just talk about random stuff. For example recently I started a banter with a girl by first complementing her shoes, she thanked me then I just kept that ball rolling by saying, "What if shoes were never invented?" She fed off of that and said she would be the one who invented shoes. This banter went in like 3 different directions in the span of a minute and it was hilarious. just keep going back and forth like this often leads t…

She's your girlfriend dude, you should have enough trust in one another to confront her directly about it. If you aren't having sex enough, talk about it! Obviously if she has her reasons then respect them but this could be solved with a little communication.

1000% agree with all of this. I spend 5+ years of my life (basically all of my early 20s) on "self improvement" and it didn't get me laid any more than I did beforehand. If you want action you have to put effort into developing your social skills, thats it. Period. I think we all either know a dude or has seen a dude with 4/10 looks and 5'3" pull women at a bar because guess what? They are mature, not insecure and have strengthened their social muscles.

If everyone believed this, noone would get laid. Believe in yourself and you will get laid no matter who you are.

Yea Ive always hated that advice. It should read as "be the best version of yourself", but reads as "do what you are doing right now, don't change anything".

I need you to explain to me how a guy with good looks is getting laid with zero personality or social skills? Are they just going directly up to women and asking if they are dtf? Thats not how things work.

This is just not true, you have to have personality/social skills, its a must.

Hitting the gym isn't important, not for everyone. In my opinion as long as you have the social skills and are decent looking you're fine. But the idea you need to spend years of your life getting gains, gains, gains, gains is just a rat race, just be yourself. Do what makes you happy and you will be a happy person and therefore a desirable person.

Thats reassuring, thank you! Its a good point, rejection feels completely one sided but in reality you're right, it might not have anything to do with me. Best to move right on along.

Good point honestly. I guess its not about making mistakes necessarily, its just the idea of not knowing what went wrong that bothers me about rejection. You're right, its possible rejection happened because they found someone else more attractive in some regard which is not a fault from me.

Thanks for your perspective, self care is huge. I do have some physical outlets for sure, I feel like putting energy into my rejections is wasted. Gonna roll with the punches haha.

Yea that makes sense, I have some friends who are like that who are able to instantly move on. I guess for me personally im a pretty overthinking, analytical person who wants to learn from all mistakes I make in life so i can make better decisions for myself. I guess I really should break past that mental barrier when it comes to women and rejection and whatnot.

It was detrimental in my experience. My last relationship ended for a variety of reasons but the main one was the fact that my partner was broke for the 11 months we were together while I could take care of myself comfortably. Relationships dont have to be 50/50 in terms of money but in our relationship it was 95/5 which just wasn't cool.

If seduction is a numbers game, how can I not think of myself as a dehumanizer?

I guess I see what you're saying. What do you mean by upping your text game? are you saying your texting gets more results in terms of conversation and engagement?

The complimenting thing is something I really need to start tackling. For whatever reason I cant get out of my own head thinking that giving someone a compliment somehow makes me a creep or desperate, things I hate the idea of being perceived as.

Ah ok that makes sense. I guess its worth being vulnerable and trying things you aren't used to in general regardless of who you are to grow as a person.

What if thats not who I am though. Like what if im not a confident person, or not a funny person? It sounds like you're saying the only people that are allowed to pull are people who have those characteristics. How do people pull by just being themselves, which may include being unfunny?

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
