Blaming the mother, classic. "terrible just like most of them" Really don't love to see this mom-hate, which btw, is misogynistic in itself. Obviously the mom did make misogynistic comments and it's clear there are sexist traditional values at play in the husband's family. But lets put the blame with the perpetrator, not his mother who wasn't even present for the incident. He is the one who behaved cruelly. He is an fully grown adult who makes his own choices and can be held accountable for his …

It always horrifies me that there are beauty trends for people's bodies and faces. Fashion and makeup trends alone change so quickly, leading people to spend huge amounts of money on products and to fret over their appearance. But the commodification of bodies and features? Leading people to shame or glorify their natural selves depending on the times? And to artificially alter themselves to meet a trend that will likely change within short time? It's incredibly disturbing... And like they say, …

he only acted like this when we were alone or with my friends (so I had to awkwardly apologize) but never when his friends/co-workers were there. So telling.

So unfair that HE gets to move on but YOU'RE not allowed to be anything other than his child's caretaker..... so selfish. But you're right of course, need to protect yourself and your family.

So many of them are truly disgusted by women's post-pregnancy bodies, and because they think our worth is our appearance, they think this devalues us. Always thought it was interesting how 'dad bods' are celebrated in the media but you never hear praise about 'mom bods'

Probably true, but in general men dont need to be famous to have inflated egos. Some of the most entitled lvms I've met have had exactly nothing going for them.

Yes, it's horrible. No spaces just for women allowed, a reason FDS is always under fire as well.

Debate and criticism have always been and always will be central to conversation on Reddit LOL the banning of feminist and gender critical subs, especially the one made specifically for civil debate on the topic of gender, determines this is a (massive) lie.

Many women are not acquainted with their own private parts, whether its from shame or uncertainty or whatever. It's honestly such a disservice. We should know how our own body parts feel, and how to make ourselves feel good. But for some reason women are discouraged from this. Men masturbating is seen as normal, but women? Special and strange. I'll never understand, and will never accept it.

The judgment that comes across in your comments is so unexpected for this space, I'm surprised. Do not love to see it.

What a garbage perspective on women's worth and motherhood. She has so many achievements to her name, and even now as a new mom she is still making new music. A woman's body is not destroyed by having a baby. Pregnancy and motherhood are not death sentences.

Which is exactly why so many try to dismantle female-specific spaces in the name of 'inclusivity'. We need sisterhood more than ever!

My sources say male brains are mature at 25 on average, women in the early 20s. 27 Seems a bit late for average male Prefrontal Cortex development and gives adult men too much leeway to claim they're 'just not fully developed yet'

Even without children, women tend to do the vast majority of housekeeping. I doubt this is just about the money, it's likely about a pattern of selfish behavior. Like another commenter said, it wouldn't necessarily be that he pay ALL the bills, but a larger chunk, as he has a greater income. This is equity, which I think is more important than equality.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
